Well, the Lord continues to sustain us in the midst of this COVID-19 challenge. We give Him high praise for that reality. The battle against the virus, itself, is taking far less a toll on the people than are the fear and confusion surrounding this pandemic … or should we say plandemic. The greatest causalities so far may have been truth and shalom.

The most holy day in Islam, "The Night of Power" or Laylat al-Qadr, is coming up, May 19th 6pm-6am Mecca, Saudi Arabia time. Considered the time when Mohammed received the words for the Koran, this is a catalytic spiritual event for the Islamic nations. As this is the year (decade) of "Pey," the mouth, we believe it is a sentinel time for Christians to pray for Muslims' release and salvation. As we proclaim the Word of God, it will not return void. Today, Muslims are hungrier than ever for the message of the gospel and this would be a needed spiritual strike to pave the way.

I am in the midst of working on an assignment for the Lord that has taken me off of email, and has now put me into a posture of active listening. YHVH is about to release a strategy for the Body. Wow … the first global day of repentance on Friday was amazing. I hope all of you, who participated in it, were as blessed as I was. The hourly list of 24 sin areas, for repentance, made the soul search, and the confession for the nation completely clear and very thorough. Twenty-four hours of prayer, and 2 days of fasting, brought so much cleansing and intimacy with the Lord; as well as inspiring an even deeper hope for victory in the battles we are waging
Kingdom Justice Aligning!
As I have been reflecting on world events, I have been narrowing my prayer focus on justice. I remember my early childhood. My father, a WWII navy veteran and the recipient of a purple heart, had pictorial history books of the war and current events of that time. I was young when I saw the photos of the nazi concentration camps and the unspeakable horrors that were inflicted upon the jewish people, christians, gypsies and homosexuals, it haunted my dreams….. I developed a strong sense of justice and hatred for injustice.

Yesterday, President Trump signed an Executive Order to preserve the safety of our Nation’s food supply chain during the COVID-19 outbreak, to support our farmers and make sure Americans have food to put on their tables. On Monday, President Trump unveiled the Opening Up America Again Testing Overview and Testing Blueprint. These tools will aid states in safely reopening and provide the American people with the confidence they need to resume their daily lives.

The Significance of Today: After the 40 Day Quarantine
TODAY’S SIGNIFICANCE: Starting with March 16 as the first day of the quarantine, the 40th day would have been yesterday, Saturday, April 25. In a sense, today, Sunday, April 26, marks our first day out of “the forty days,” out of “quarantine.” Also, not lost on me is the fact that seven, being significant in Scriptures, is the number of Sundays that America’s churches have been closed. I do not want to make the 40 day period more of a “hard and fast rule” than it is.

We have a God of Truth, and yet we are battling to find truth and to know it in the midst of this Covid-19 crisis. We have a God of order, and yet we find ourselves living in a world situation rife with confusion. We have a God of shalom, and yet we are living in a world that is all upset, with much of our “normal life” being shattered.

What is common sense? The New Oxford American Dictionary describes it as “good sense and sound judgment in practical matters.” Covid -19 fear seems to have been thrown common sense out the window along with everything we have ever known as we face the global conundrum (confusing and difficult problem) of Covid-19.
INSIGHT FOR INTERCESSORS
In spite of many challenges, Israel is moving forward. COVID-19 is crashing the economy and is being used to temporarily remove the rights of citizens … supposedly for the common good. That suspension of the rights of free movement and assembly had better end pretty soon, or the nation will continue to play right into the hands of the humanist elite.
