Well, by the grace of YHVH we’ve made it safely into the year 2022! When the ball dropped in Times Square of New York city on Friday night, it may have changed the Gregorian calendar year, but it doesn’t seem to have changed much in the natural. However, much is moving in the spiritual realm. As we begin this new year, we will have the opportunity to watch and pray, to see how the hand of the Lord will move in response to all of our prayers, which we prayed last year. Those heart cries of intercession were not deleted, nor trashed by the Lord, when the year changed. They weren’t a waste of our time, heart, and effort. The Lord has not ignored our pleas. This will be a year of great accountability, and of serious revelations of truth; regarding how far “off plumb” our world has been for a LONG time. The rough ride is going to continue for a while … possibly well into this year. We must remain full of faith; trusting in the Lord; rejecting all doubt. HE IS DOING A FAR BIGGER, AND GREATER, WORK than we can begin to imagine. His timing is PERFECT! HE HAS CHOSEN US to be alive for this season of the earth. He must certainly know much more about what He can do with us/for us than we can understand or grasp. We just need to walk out this unfolding year, while holding YHVH’s hand.
Pressing back in the Spirit, against evil, has been exhausting at times; but that activity has been building spiritual muscle within us. Every day, we need to cling to the Lord and to draw from HIM for our strength and truth. At the same time, we need to be well informed in the spiritual, and in the natural realms. Basically, it’s important to know what’s going on in our world, but, at the same time, not to become overburdened, or overwhelmed, by what we learn/see/hear. The Enemy thinks that we are still a bunch of puny, gullible, humans, who are very easily deceived and manipulated. That would certainly be our reality, if our minds were not being renewed daily, and having our reborn hearts submitted continually to the tutelage of the Holy Spirit. We surely would be losing our minds, if our emotions … which are being assaulted constantly … were calling the shots, and interpreting the events that are going on around us. Our shalom … our wholeness and our balance … our truth and our confidence … must be in the Lord alone.
On this coming Shabbat, I will be releasing a prophetic rhema word that I received last weekend; regarding this new calendar year. I believe you will find it challenging, but also very encouraging. Meanwhile, I have provided a long list of potential websites below … website that you can explore for more information and understanding on various topics. As always, discern what you learn. Not everything presented on every site will be 100% on plumb, but under the leading of the Holy Spirit, you will recognize any hummmmm places, and be able to eat the meat, while spitting out any bones you may find. Be sure to take everything, that you intend to conclude … or to incorporate as truth in your mind and heart … before the Scriptures and before the Holy Spirit for confirmation of validity and clarity.
