Since I last wrote you, I spent some time away in the Smokie Mountains. It was a trip made to fulfill a wish, of my precious 90-year-old mother-in-law, to visit that area. Her challenges with dementia may not allow her to remember the good times we had there together, but I will remember. It was wonderful to see her laugh and smile. While it was a personal stretch for my heart at times, dying to the flesh is always good. Seeing someone once so capable and clear, now struggling to remember, and to track with conversations, is a heart break; but oh, what an opportunity to serve in love! Blessedly, I had a precious sister-friend to go with me. Sometimes those members in the Body of Messiah are closer, and more caring, than our biological family members. I rejoice in the family of YHVH. In the coming months, we will all need each other, perhaps more than ever.
Before I returned from Gatlinburg, the Lord indicated that the month of October would be very challenging. He said that it would be WAR. Without telling me whether it would be only spiritual war, or if it would also be kinetic, military war somewhere in the world, He called me into an extended fast that began this past Monday. It will be a 40-day fast on clear liquids, and scheduled to end on Nov. 5th. I suspect some significant things will happen during that period of time. My assignment is to go deeply into the Spirit to seek new strategies in spiritual warfare, and to receive revelation to encourage the Body, while we wait for YHVH to release the breakthrough.
All of us, within the righteous remnant, are now in boot camp, as It were. We will be learning and experiencing some new and potentially difficult, things that will make us stronger and better equipped for our engagements with the Enemy. Such training is truly a blessing of love from the Father. We are a pleasure-oriented society. We love our entertainment and our free time to chill back from our labors. In war, all “leave” is cancelled and the press is on until victory comes. We’re not used to that. In war, even Shabbat is experienced in a different way; with each of us down on one knee, lapping up the water of refreshment from our hand, while our eyes/ears are alert to any advance of the Enemy … and with our swords in our hands. This is a time for strengthening our faith and our resolve. It’s time to decide what side we’re on, and then to stand up; holding that position without compromise. No more silence and timidity. There is glory to be gleaned for the Lord. There is a harvest waiting to come in, which the Enemy wants to destroy by various horrific means. We are being given an opportunity to thwart many of those evil plans. In the process, we will be refined and prepared to be ready to bring in the Harvest with signs, wonders, and miracles, when the Lord releases the outpouring of His Holy Spirit across the world. It IS coming. So, we need to lock down in faith and to pick up our resolve as well as our courage. Whatever comes is under the hand of the Lord, even if it doesn’t seem to be that way.
The Lord wants us to know that in every war there are losses as well as gains. Gains are not made without some losses and sacrifices enabling those gains. What are we terrified of losing in the short term or in the long term? In this season of boot camp, we may be stripped of some things that are treasures or familiar comforts. We may not know if they will ever return to our possession or to our experience; but will be challenged to come to a place of peace and surrender of these things into the hands of the Lord. The Marxist ideology requires everyone to surrender their personal property, personal wealth, personal freedom, and personal choice to the community “collective”, for the common good; enabling the evil powerbrokers at the top to control all aspect of human life … growing rich from the servitude of the compliant masses. The Kingdom of YHVH, requests that we surrender, voluntarily, what we treasure into the hands of our Creator, for His purposes. He is loving, generous, kind, faithful, trustworthy, etc.
We surrender our brass and iron. He returns gold and silver into our hands. There is such a huge difference in being required to hand over our freedom and treasure for the “common good”, from surrendering our freedom and treasure, willingly, for the “Kingdom good” and for the glory of YHVH. If our substance and lives are already given to YHVH, any theft of our material things, will be a theft taken from HIM. No one can take our lives from us, when they are already given to YHVH. They are secure there. He will choose the outcomes and He will deal with the threats against HIS possessions.
While I was in the mountains, the Lord spoke a precious rhema word to me that I will now share below. I pray that it will richly bless you on this Shabbat, which is about to begin. May this word cause you to reflect and to examine the issues He presents for our consideration. How blessed we are to have such a loving, caring, Father, who attends so faithfully to our needs. How honored we are that He would stand with us, train us personally, defend us, and fight at our side against all evil. Rejoice in Him! Be blessed in His love! Come into His presence and release all into His hands!

Consider this, My little ones: “People are willing to accommodate the demands of fear, in order to avoid suffering any loss. Deal with the issue of loss in order to get to the issue of fear.
What do you want to hold on to, little ones? What is it that you would do anything to keep it? Is it your home … your health … your relationships or your family … your employment … your bank account … your status, comfort, and lifestyle? What is it? It will be these temporary things, that you refuse to lose in this life, which will make you vulnerable to the fear of loss. Yet, what you do not want to lose will often be the very thing that will be required of you, by My hand, to clean your heart of idolatry.
While it is a blessed and marvelous thing to hold onto your faith in Me, and the truth I give, holding on to anything, with a death grip … on to anything other than Me … is a great hazard to you. Know that the Enemy will seek to grab hold, and to tug on ANYTHING that is of temporary, earthly, carnal, substance, so that he can steal your earthly treasure, as well as your heart, to destabilize your faith, your hope, and your shalom. Do you see this happening in your life right now? Do you see it happening in the world all around you? This is the time of sorting and refining. This is the time when the truth of human lives will be laid bare. Those, who declare that they are Mine, but who cling to other things, and to other persons as a priority, will be exposed as idolatrous. Does that sound harsh? It must be, for the price of idolatry it eternally high.
In a time of war, or of great physical threat, the truth of your treasure becomes known. When you are called to flee from your home to safety, what will you carry with you? What will you leave behind to be potentially lost to you forever? What material losses will cause you to weep in deep sobs, or to curse those, who caused you to lose these things? What thought of losing something causes your heart to panic, or your mind to fly; searching madly to think of ways to avoid the loss? When the food supply is cut off, where will you go in your heart? Will it be to Me for guidance, or will it be to run into panic and fear? The masses will hoard and steal. Will you generously, confidently, share what I provide for you? When a toxic cloud, an inescapable storm, or a missile, is reported to be heading your way, how will you respond? Will faith and testimony speak, or will fear pour from your lips? Will you join the terrified masses, or will you run to Me? When you are separated from those you love, and have no way to contact them, do you trust that I will hold them in My hands? Do you trust that I will be communicating with them, when you cannot? When your health is threatened with a dire prognosis, and when you are helpless to change the course of an illness or injury, will you reject fear and lay back within My hand to be held … there to be healed upon the earth, or to be promoted into My eternal presence … trusting Me to choose wisely and lovingly?
I have told you that in My timing, evil will be exposed, defeated, and crushed. Until that time, the challenges you face now, are available to take you to a new place of dependency upon Me, in preparation for a new coming glory. You will access that glory and use it powerfully in the fields of harvest, after your current training process is complete. Even when the victory comes, you must never go back to the sluggish ways, and to the idolatries you have entertained. You will have a short span of time to gather in the lost, before evil regroups for a more severe attack. Have I not said that I will take you from strength to strength and from glory to glory? What is innate to that statement is the truth that strength comes from being tested with heavy lifting.
Don’t be caught weakened and distracted after the fruit of victory manifests. Don’t let go of Me when rest comes in the victory moments. Rejoice and work … stay awake and do not go back to a lukewarm, self-possessed, life of faith. Keep fear under your feet at all times, and retain faith as your ever-present shield.
All the losses you will suffer will be returned to you as gains in My Kingdom, where they will endure forever. Do not fear losing what is temporary or carnal. Hold to that which is eternal. Keep your eyes upon Me always. Trust Me. Spend time with Me every day. It is well that you ask in your prayers that I not put you to the severe test. However, whatever test is brought to you, know that I have My hand on it, as well as in the outcome. There will be purpose and glory … strength and revelation. And there will be great INTIMACY with Me in those moments of suffering and loss, as you turn to Me. I am very close to those, who suffer. I draw in more closely than you can ever imagine in the time of any requested martyrdom for My Kingdom’s glory. Do not fear even that possibility. I designed your entire life journey, I and will walk it with you always … even to the end. No fear!
Release yourself into this time of training and stretching. Prepare yourself to let go of some things that you treasure, for you will not take them into the next life. Those, who joyfully leave earthly treasure behind, because they treasure Me and My Kingdom more, will be met with unlimited blessings and treasure when they come into My habitation. Rest in My faithful love, little ones. In your greatest challenges, I am with you. In your times of rest, I am with you. In your greatest moments of joy, I am with you. Let go of your fear, and grab hold of My hand. We will walk this road, of present and coming challenges, together.”
