Honoring President George Washington!
. . . and Praying for the Electoral College

Today's Verse

ROMANS 13:7

IT IS WRITTEN:

"Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor."

Today's Commentary

Today, all eyes are focused upon the Electoral College . . . wondering what these electors in each state may be doing as they cast their ballots, naming the
next President of the United States. Because all of this is happening behind closed doors, and knowing that these results will not be made public until January 6, 2021, when Congress unseals their votes and announces the results . . . today we can only "pray in the Spirit" as this process unfolds.

However, in an interesting turn of events, today also marks the passing of our first President, George Washington! He died at his home in Mount Vernon, Virginia, on December 14th, 1799, at the age of 67 years old.

Surely, when our first President passed on, he left his mantle upon our great nation -- a mantle which has sustained us as a country for the past xxx years,
and which will continue to do so in the days ahead.

Today, we honor President Washington's mantle, and we prophetically place it upon the shoulders of our current President, Donald John Trump. May President Trump walk now in the same anointing as our first president did, displaying the strength, the honor, the courage and the tenacity of President Washington. And may President Washington's vision of the destiny of our great nation abide, too, upon Donald John Trump.

And finally, as the electors finish their own work today in their different states, may we each pray, too, for an anointing of wisdom, courage, integrity and blessing to rest upon each one, for the good of our people. Amen.

Today's Prayer

Father God, today on this very special date in our nation's history, we do bring honor to whom honor is due: to our first President, George Washington; to our current President, Donald John Trump; and to all who now hold positions of authority in our 50 states, serving as Electors in the Electoral College.

Teach us Your ways, O Lord, as we seek to honor all who are in authority . . . even those with whom we disagree. In Your name, Abba God, amen.

Supporting Verses

1. "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." (1 Timothy 2:1,2)

2. " . . . Honor the King . . ." (1 Peter 2:17)

3. "And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. 27 And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will." (Romans 8:26,27 NLT)

Congressman Steve Scalise:

Biden Not President-Elect, Legal Process Must Play Out

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden isn’t the president-elect, as legal battles over election results are continuing in key battleground states, House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) said Dec. 13.

“Let the legal process play out. But if you want to restore trust by millions of people who are still very frustrated and angry about what happened, that’s why you’ve got to have this whole system play out. There will be a president sworn in on January 20. But let’s let this legal process play itself out,” Scalise said, during a virtual appearance on “Fox News Sunday.”

Biden, 78, has claimed victory in the election, alleging that he’s won because certified vote counts show him with more than 270 electoral votes.

President Donald Trump and other Republicans, however, are contesting the results in key battleground states, pointing to witnesses who have testified about fraud and other irregularities during hearings in those states and in affidavits attached to some of the lawsuits that have been filed.

Crucial Logs Missing From Antrim County Dominion Voting Machines: Forensics Report

Crucial security and adjudication logs are missing from Dominion Voting Systems machines from Michigan’s Antrim County, according to a forensics report (pdf) released on Dec. 14 in compliance with a court order.

“Significantly, the computer system shows vote adjudication logs for prior years; but all adjudication log entries for the 2020 election cycle are missing. The adjudication process is the simplest way to manually manipulate votes. The lack of records prevents any form of audit accountability, and their conspicuous absence is extremely suspicious since the files exist for previous years using the same software,” the report, authored by Russell Ramsland, states.

“We must conclude that the 2020 election cycle records have been manually removed.”

The absence of the adjudication logs is particularly alarming because the forensic exam found that the voting machines rejected an extraordinary number of ballots for adjudication, a manual process in which election workers determine the ultimate outcome for each ballot.

“The allowable election error rate established by the Federal Election Commission guidelines is of 1 in 250,000 ballots,” Ramsland said. “We observed an error rate of 68.05 percent. This demonstrated a significant and fatal error in security and election integrity.”

“These errors resulted in overall tabulation errors or ballots being sent to adjudication. This high error rates proves the Dominion Voting System is flawed and does not meet state or federal election laws,” he added. “Because the intentional high error rate generates large numbers of ballots to be adjudicated by election personnel, we must deduce that bulk adjudication occurred. However, because files and adjudication logs are missing, we have not yet determined where the bulk adjudication occurred or who was responsible for it. Our research continues.” (The Epoch Times) Read more.
