WHO HAS THE AUTHORITY TO SAY “IT IS SO BECAUSE I SAID SO”?

Clearly, our world has gone MAD! Common sense, truth, and the chain of command (those wielding authority) are totally skewed, or totally absent. A couple of mornings ago, I awakened with these words shouting into my spirit: “WHO HAS THE AUTHORITY TO SAY: IT IS SO, BECAUSE I SAY SO?” My response was, “Lord you alone have that authority, because to make such a decree, one must have overriding power as a Judge, as a Lawmaker, and as a Sovereign. You alone have that ultimate authority to declare a thing, and to make it an absolute reality under which ALL must submit”. The response was “Correct! Then why are men and demons being allowed to steal the free will and the freedoms, which I gave as an endowment to the members of My human family … just because they say so? Why are usurpers of authority allowed to operate as if they are ME … as if they have MY Sovereign authority? Why are the populations of the world submissively laying aside MY commands, MY law, MY order, MY truth, and My overriding authority in order to obey these tyrants, thieves, and liars, who are acting as if they are ME?” YOIKS! After hearing those words, I can tell you, the Lord instantly had my full attention.
That exchange with the Lord, which filled my spirit upon awakening that morning, occurred immediately after I had awakened from a brief dream. In the dream I was in an outdoor setting with a faith group that had come together to hear me, and my husband, lead a teaching session. At the beginning of the dream, I was speaking to the group about the moment in time that we all presently have to glorify the Lord through holy actions and declarations against evil powers. I told the gathering that we have the opportunity to flip over the plans of the Enemy, by aligning ourselves with the Lord, and with each other, in a chosen unity that has never before been seen upon the earth. I went on to say that the Tower of Babel was an alignment of people in rebellion against the Lord to BECOME as gods. Currently, there are world leaders in government, health agencies, business, finance, law, education etc. who are doing the same thing as the orchestrators, and as the participants, in the tower of Babel project. Those few, who are calling the shots, and mandating the world populations, have united together with one set of goals. Those goals are to be the lords of the earth, and the determiners of global life and death … dictators of human culture, law, business, finance, and social practice … controllers of freedom, and orchestrators of bondage. Under their terms, all the people of the earth would be required to submit, with no exception or refusal allowed. In the dream, I spoke to the people gathered about the cause of, and about the solution to, our plight in this current struggle. Here are my specific words:
“We are not sheep nor cattle, as if we must submit to being led to slaughter for the pleasure and benefit of evil powers. We have allowed these officials, politicians, institutions, and government agencies to become idols … false gods with the power to override the truth and the laws of YHVH. We’ve allowed them to hold power that is not theirs to wield, while at the same time, we have laid aside our own God-given power and authority to bring righteousness to our world. We are commissioned in the scriptures to throw down idols and to destroy unholy high places. The Creator of the Universe is with us in our obedience as we do this. We can bring forth a revolution, and a reformation, that will give glory to the Lord, and bring down evil giants. We can trigger a global harvest of souls, as a result of our united, prayers, words, and actions now.”
As I spoke, I noticed some of the people around the fringes of the group began to walk away. Their heads were down, and they looked as if my words bounced off of their minds and hearts. Within minutes, the people on all the outside margins of the group began to walk away, until there was only a small core group remaining in the middle. At that point, I stopped speaking to that, now small, group. My husband went to those, who remained in the core, and began to talk to them. I withdrew in stunned amazement; having been told that the people, who were assembled … those who had eagerly come to listen to the admonitions … were “on fire” believers of faith and courage. In reality, many began to look confused, uncomfortable, fearful, unconvinced, double-minded and hopeless, the very moment I began to suggest that we have the commission, and the ability, to resist evil so that it is defeated. With the Lord using us as His children, and with our willingness to serve His purposes, the tide would turn … that the evil ones would be removed and replaced. Seeing so many walk away after hearing these words of truth, I thought, “Do they have such little faith and such weak knowledge of the word/promises of YHVH?” Instantly, a thick hedge came in front of me. I heard these words:
“This hedge is grown from the planting of lies that the Enemy has sown into the hearts and minds of those, who do not have a true understanding of who they are in Me. They have related to Me through bible stories and through the reports from others. They have had an acceptance, and perhaps some faith, for that historical, biblical, God, and for the salvation that was offered to them through the Jesus person. However, they lacked the intimacy of truth and purpose in Me, that would have convinced them that they really can do all things through Me. They don’t truly know who I am, and thus they cannot truly know who they are, nor the power of our teamwork in this battle, and in this final victory. Their uncertainty comes from the vulnerability that they fear from the potential attacks of the Enemy against them … and also from their fear of the darkness in this world that they believe is ultimately able to threatened and harm them at will. They trust no defense, because they don’t intimately, personally, know that they have My assurance as their Lord and Savior. Their minds and hearts could be open to that truth of who I am to them … they could relate to Me personally in their daily reality … except for the fact, that there is no place for Me, within them, to be absolutely honored and obeyed as Sovereign, because of their idolatry. They have compromised hearts as the result of serving and honoring the powers of this world, as well as their own desires and perspectives. They have many other ‘saviors’, to whom they look for help. Because I am not their absolute, and sole, Lord and Savior, within their hearts and minds, there is no place for Me to their only Lord and Savior within their lives. Many thrones that exist in their souls are being occupied by idols that have never been displaced and shattered; even though these individuals claim My name as central in their religion. Throughout My word, My children were ordered to destroy the high places, and to crush the idols, but yet, they have not fulfilled this command through obedience to it. To truly know Me, is to acknowledge that I alone am Sovereign over ALL matters. To know Me and to love Me in truth, leaves NO PLACE for idols to occupy. What you see, arising in front of you, is the hedge of idolatry, that I need you to address in the lives of the compromised and in the unconvinced. If this hedge, which is established in idolatry, is kept in place, it becomes the main obstacle to both the truth about Who I Am, and about the truth of who they are to Me.”
After I heard these words, the hedge parted and dissolved. I was able to walk back to the core group assembled. When they turned to look at me, I declared to them: “YHVH must become absolute Lord and Savior to all those He loves. We must destroy the idols and the high places that have been set up, and which have been allowed to remain, against His Sovereignty.” A unified shout of agreement arose from the group. I awakened from the dream.
Now, it shouldn’t be surprising that the Haftorah portion for this past Shabbat includes a passage from 2 Kings, chapter 12. Let’s look at this together.
2 Kings 12:1- (NASB)
1 In the seventh year of Jehu, Jehoash became king, and he reigned for forty years in Jerusalem; and his mother’s name was Zibiah of Beersheba. 2 Yehoash did what was right in the sight of the LORD all his days that Yehoiada the priest instructed him. 3 Only the high places did not end; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.
What??? King Yehoash did what was right in the sight of the Lord, WHEN Jehoiada the priest instructed him!!! Well, what happened to that priest? Apparently, he was no long instructing the king in the ways of the Lord, because the high places of idolatry remained intact. The people of Israel were continuing to sacrifice and to burn incense to false gods. The Law, given to Moses by YHVH, is VERY CLEAR about forbidding such things.
Leviticus 26 is full of warnings from the Lord about what will happen if the people reject His law, and rebel against His authority. He will bring all sorts of terrible consequences that are listed in that chapter. If they continue to rebel, the Lord warns that things will only get worse … much worse. In verse 30, YHVH says something specific that involves high places and incense altars to idols.
Lev 26:30
I then will destroy your high places, and cut down your incense altars, and pile your remains on the remains of your idols, for My soul will loathe you.
Deuteronomy 12:2-4 speaks about these things as well. YHVH gives His people commands about what to do when they enter into Canaan.
2 Destroy completely all the places where the nations you are dispossessing have served their gods—atop the high mountains, on the hills (the high places), and under every green tree. 3 Tear down their altars, smash their sacred pillars, burn up their Asherah poles, cut down the idols of their gods, and wipe out their names from every place. 4 You shall not worship the LORD your God in this way.
Hummm … this tolerance of idolatry among the people of YHVH seemed to be an ongoing problem, as they operated in rebellion to these commands, time and time again. Their memory of the Lord’s directives, and of consequences, seemed to be rather short. Here is another case of high place tolerance.
2 Kings 15:34-35
34 And Jotham did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father Uzziah had done. 35 Nevertheless, the high places were not taken away; the people continued sacrificing and burning incense there. Jotham rebuilt the Upper Gate of the house of the LORD.
The sad reality is that when idolatry is allowed/tolerated, the hearts and minds of the people are divided … they don’t truly come to appreciate who YHVH IS AS THE SOVEREIGN LORD. They don’t fear Him until something bad happens. They are unable to know WHO THEY ARE TO HIM, because their idolatry denies them the intimacy with the Lord that would reveal the truth of who they are as His beloved, empowered, commissioned children. The compromises that our idols inspire us to make, estrange us from the truth, and keep us double minded, skeptical, distracted, tolerant of evil, and unable to embrace the truth because of the mixtures we have embraced.
Look back at 2 Kings 12. We can see how the priests, who were supposed to be taking care of the house of the Lord … (that care which is to reflect honor given to Him, love of Him, whole hearted service to Him, as well as a holy fear/awe of WHO He is as Sovereign Lord), was neglected. They even rebelled against the God-given role they were to play. The king has told them to do something in regard to the Temple, but they didn’t do it. Take a look!
2 Kings 12:4-17
4 Then Jehoash said to the priests, “All the money of the sacred things which is brought into the house of the LORD, in current money, both the money of each man’s assessment and all the money which any man’s heart prompts him to bring into the house of the LORD, 5 let the priests take it for themselves, each from his acquaintance (constituency); and they shall repair the damages of the house wherever any damage may be found.
6 But it came about that in the twenty-third year of King Jehoash the priests had not repaired the damages of the house.
7 Then King Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and for the other priests and said to them, “Why do you not repair the damages of the house? Now therefore take no more money from your acquaintances, but pay it for the damages of the house.” 8 So the priests agreed that they should take no more money from the people, nor repair the damages of the house.
(The king didn’t notice for 23 years that the house of YHVH had remained in disrepair after they were given the funds and the charge to repair it?? They did nothing for 23 years, but now it appears that they intend to invest their time and money in making the repairs. But did they intend to do that? NO! They were not going to do the work themselves … they all agree on that fact according to verse 8. So what did they do??
9 But Jehoiada the priest took a chest and bored a hole in its lid, and put it beside the altar, on the right side as one comes into the house of the LORD; and the priests who guarded the threshold put in it all the money which was brought into the house of the LORD. 10 And when they saw that there was much money in the chest, the king’s scribe and the high priest came up and tied it in bags and counted the money which was found in the house of the LORD. 11 And they gave the money which was weighed out into the hands of those who did the work, who had the oversight of the house of the LORD; and they paid it out to the carpenters and the builders, who worked on the house of the LORD; 12 and to the masons and the stonecutters, and for buying timber and hewn stone to repair the damages to the house of the LORD, and for all that was laid out for the house to repair it. 13 But there were not made for the house of the LORD silver cups, snuffers, bowls, trumpets, any vessels of gold, or vessels of silver from the money which was brought into the house of the LORD; 14 for they gave that to those who did the work, and with it they repaired the house of the LORD. 15 Moreover, they did not require an accounting from the men into whose hand they gave the money to pay to those who did the work, for they dealt faithfully. 16 The money from the guilt offerings and the money from the sin offerings, was not brought into the house of the LORD; it was for the priests.
(NOTE: So the priests were making compromises and partially doing what they should have been doing. They paid workers to do the work, but never required an accounting from them of the work or of the costs. They didn’t make the utensils and the service articles of gold and silver that were supposed to honor the God they served. Now we read that the king, who tolerated the delay in taking down the high places of idolatry, also make bad choices and decisions as a national leader, and as commander of the nation’s armies.
17 Then Hazael king of Aram went up and fought against Gath and captured it, and Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem. 18And Jehoash king of Judah took all the sacred things that Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own sacred things and all the gold that was found among the treasuries of the house of the LORD and of the king’s house, and sent them to Hazael king of Aram. Then he went away from Jerusalem.
Rather than seeing the house of YHVH as sacred, the priests attended to it for their advantage and according to their timetables and priorities. Likewise, the king decided to give away the sacred things of the temple (things that belonged to the treasuries of the Lord). The king gave them away to a pagan king as a bribe to keep him from attacking Jerusalem. Rather than raising up a defense of the city, and calling upon the Lord to help, Jehoash handled it carnally; indicating that there was a lack of the fear of the Lord during his reign. He gave no honor to YHVH, and no thought to His laws, His authority or His worship. Jehoash had preciously done what was pleasing to the Lord when he was following Godly counsel and teaching, but that fell to the wayside. As a result, the impact and influence of the false gods, and the demons, who were honored, and who occupied the high places of worship (demanding that they were the priority), compromised and weakened the faith, the fear of the Lord in the people, along with the priority and obedience to Him by the king and the priests. Of course, the people of Judah followed along after their leaders! The priests were to educate the people in the ways of the law and righteousness … even instructing them in the Godly priorities of obedience and service. BUT THEY DIDN’T DO THAT. As a result, the whole nation became weak, doubleminded and compromised. The king missed the mark and messed up by giving a bribe to evil powers, so that they would leave Jerusalem, and the life they enjoyed there, alone.
Consider where we are today. What are the current high places. What are the idolatrous sites, values, personalities, priorities, and customs that are being honored above the Lord? We were established by the YHVH to be a Godly nation of those, who would fear and honor Him. When our governmental and spiritual leaders used the word of the Lord as their guidebook, and as their lawbook, the nation was blessed. It pleased YHVH. But what about now?
**What currently serves as the basis of our laws? HUMANISM, INTELLECTUALISM, GLOBALISM
**What determines the judgments in the courts? PROGRESSIVISM, POPULAR GLOBALIST GROUP THINK, INTERPRETING/LEGISLATING FROM THE BENCH according to what feels/seems right/good.
**What is the foundation of our educational system? SECUARLISM, ENTITLEMENT, REBELLION, LIBERALISM, POST MODERNISM, ANTI-CHRIST, LICENSE, DELUSION
**What is the power base of our elected officials, Congress, Senate, Parliaments, Cabinet members, Commander in Chief, etc. MONEY, EGO, INFLUENCE, BRIBES, POWER/CONTROL THROUGH DECEPTION, BLACKMAIL, THEFT, AND LIES … UNHOLY COMPROMISES …. FINANCIAL GAIN, SLIGHT OF HAND.
Surely, over the years we have given the health care systems, the physicians, the pharmaceutical wizards, and the media our honor and worship and faith. Rather than in GOD WE TRUST, those in power wanted us to give them total trust and control … and now we see that also means OBEDIENCE. Obedience is a sign/manifestation of worship.
What high places have been allowed in the houses of worship? What repairs did we neglect to make, when the cracks and holes first appeared? (Abortion, gender perversions and contra-biblical designations, (such as non-binary/ transgender), same sex marriage, sex before marriage, cohabitation without covenant, ordination of homosexuals, pedophilia, porn tolerance, etc.).
Burning incense to what? What false doctrines have been tolerated … contra-biblical beliefs that were established as valid and authoritative? (humanistic values and mandates, replacement theology, evolution, euthanasia, mixtures of holy and the profane)
What accountability have we failed to require of those we empowered to lead (teachers, politicians, judges, business and spiritual leaders)? What accountability did we neglect when it came to following truth and righteous conduct?
What treasure did we fail to construct as something holy unto the Lord? What did we keep for ourselves, while the house of God was in a shamble? TRUTH! RIGHTEOUSNESS, FELLOWSHIP, HOLINESS, VISIBILITY, CREDIBILITY, LEADERSHIP AND RIGHTEOUS GUIDANCE. We instead often chose receiving POPULARITY, and APPROVAL and a good BUDGET and A LARGE ATTENDANCE to be our offering to the Lord.
Consider the mess that we currently have within our government leadership, and in our judicial and educational institutions. We have not kept leadership accountable for their deviations from the truth, and from Godly principles. What credibility and power did we continue to give/allow to those, who had already proved to be dicey … those ignoring our requests for upholding standards … those failing to be transparent and honest … and those even being outright unfaithful in key areas? Who did we not remove from the high places, when they should have been ousted, because they were too powerful, or too appreciated by the majority of the deceived? What unholy, ungodly, rebellious, greedy, businesses did we continue support through our purchases? When did we remain silent in the face of evil; submitting rebellious dealings, laws, and mandates from those, who refused to be transparent and accountable? What were we willing to overlook to keep peace and popularity … to keep our jobs, income, access, and our reputations? Did we understand that enabling these idols to have power in the high places … allowing them to have a voice and a hand of influence … was really an act of worship to them? Did we understand that allowing them to continue to stand, speak and rule was an act of rebellion against YHVH’s way, will and word?
Even as the king gave away the treasure that belonged to YHVH to keep an enemy at bay (A BRIBE), what have we, the people of the world, handed over to the ungodly, the untrustworthy, and the illegal, in order to keep the threat of Covid at bay … or to keep the economy afloat? (Liberty, truth, wisdom, common sense, health, freedom, free will).
**We have allowed our Constitutions to be decried, denied, and trampled.
**We have allowed ourselves to be backed into our homes (out of our congregations and livelihoods) and locked in without demanding the evidence (in real science) for such actions.
**We allowed liars to have the power to rule, and to make mandates that oppressed our lives, and which stripped away basic human rights, while they hid (and still hide) the evidence that would reveal the truth of their evil agenda and actions.
**When these mandators violated their timetables for limiting, and for the suppression of rights, why did we allow them to stay enforced?
**Why did we allow safe and effective medications and supplements to be withheld, decried, and made illegal, when the evidence of their safety and efficacy was so abundant and available?
**Why have we allowed our privacy to be stripped from us by big tech? Did we want to keep our device services and our internet so much that we would sacrifice our personal security and data information to stay on-line, entertained, or in communication?
**Why did we submit to wearing masks rather than demanding transparency of the studies showing that they are useless at best and detrimental at worst?
**Why have we ignored the reports about the dangers of 5G? Do we love our devices and our hi-tech gadgets so much … loving our entertainment/communications/conveniences so much that we tolerated and ignored the reports of the serious danger? Did we refuse to investigate and do the research, because we didn’t want to know … lest we have to lay aside our worship of the digital world?
**Why did we allow our constitutional rights to be violated for two years, while evil agencies dictated mandates and practices without any accountability?
**Why did we allow our economies to spiral down as we accepted bribe money from our governments; given if we would stay home compliantly and not be productive or challenge the narrative?
**Did we think that if we complied, and made the sacrifices to these idols, that Covid would back off and not attack?
**Now that jabbed people are getting sick and dying in incredible numbers, WHY ARE WE NOT IN THE STREETS DEMANDING THAT THESE HOSPITAL CEASE AND DECIST from given these jabs? Are we standing with the truth tellers and supporting them in their costly and courageous stance they are taking for truth and for our good?
**Why are we even considering allowing Covid jabs to be given/mandated to our children … when children very rarely die of Covid, and often are disabled and die from the jab?
**Why have human beings been lining up to be injected with an untested, experimental gene therapy … being willing Guinea pigs, while the creators and distributors of the experimental, concealed content, injections are allowed to have no liability for death and damage?
**WHY ARE THE PHARM COMPANIES being allowed to make BILLIONS OF DOLLARS EACH WEEK WITHOUT ANY TRANSPARENCY (IN REGARD TO EFFICACY, SAFETY, AND MORTALITY) IN THE FACE OF ALL THESE DEATHS AND DISABILITIES?
**WHY ARE WE TOLERATING THE ESTBLISHMENT OF COVID CONCENTRATION CAMPS?
**Why are ABORTIONS still BEING ALLOWED AT ALL?
**Why are we not in the streets protecting our children against these tracking, tracing, and depopulation jabs?
**Why does human trafficking continue hour and hour?
The idols of Politics, of Mammon, of Pharmacia, of Human Intellectualism, of Political Correctness, of Keeping the Peace at all Costs, of Prosperity, of Health and Safety, of Youth and Fitness, of Humanism, of Entertainment, of Illusion … and of so many more false gods have received constant human worship. They have had incense being burned in their honor in these high places of power … and even in the high places of our heart and minds. It’s being done by the institutional church and by those, who call themselves Christians and Jews as well as by the seculars.
PRIDE and ARROGANCE have received much homage from us for many years. Now we are seeing the fruit of that idolatry.
As in the times of the Kings of Israel and Judah, we have not torn down the high places, nor the idolatrous altars that principalities, dark powers and demons have established in our seats of authority … and even in our own homes. This is a matter of repentance. The Lord is clearly doing His part in this season of the earth; but we must do ours. We MUST take down the false gods and stop serving them. We must wake up and repent for what we have been mindlessly, or apathetically, doing for a very long time. I believe the awakening and the repentance is beginning to happen, but must happen on a larger scale.
Right now, many thousands of truck drivers and citizens are taking a stand against their government’s act of overreach, corruption, deceit, and tyranny. But isn’t this what the Body of Messiah and the people of YHVH should have been doing all along? I thank the Lord for this Covid crisis and for this pushing ahead of YHVH’s timetable by the Evil One … this overplaying of satan’s hand to steal the harvest. It has awakened us to what we should have done … what we should have stopped, and what we should have crushed a long time ago. Now we need to take stock of the idols that still remain and receive worship and power. What sits in our high places? What is receiving your praise, honor, obedience, worship, and compliance?
The Spirit of the Lord is being poured out. We have a chance to turn this around, as we come to know who WE ARE IN THE LORD, and WHO HE IS IN US. We must tear down the high places now, and stop giving bribes to the Destroyer. We need to repair the house of the Lord and to cleanse it. We must cry out for forgiveness and for revival. Our time must be invested in seeking to draw near to YHVH. We must know His word and follow it. We must invest our hearts in worship and our priorities in truth telling through love. May the Lord lead us in these unfolding days. May He cause us to see the truth that we have not wanted to see. May He fill our hearts with zeal for His Kingdom, so that we will go to the streets … or go to our neighbors, our businesses, our leaders in any area … and speak the truth to them. May we stand when our families reject that truth. Keeping peace in families … keeping relationships intact … keeping access, and keeping our positions … all have been idolatrous at some point.
**THE KINGDOM OF YHVH MUST BE OUR PASSSION. If it’s not … why not? Check for idols.
**SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN LOVE MUST BE THE WAY WE RELATE TO PEOPLE AROUND US. If we don’t’, why not? Check for idols and for false altars in the high places.
**REFUSING TO COMPROMISE WITH WICKEDNESS AND REFUSING TO TOLERATE THE POWER OF LIES, MUST BE A PRIOTY OF ACTION AND WORDS. If they aren’t, why not? Check for idols in the high places of our hearts and minds.
**COMING TOGETHER IN UNITY FOR THE SAKE OF THE KINGDOM, MUST BE THE REASON FOR OUR UNITY. If we are still divided, why are we? Check for idols of Self-Justification, of Religion, of Pride etc. in our high places.
**REPAIRING THE DAMAGE IN THE BODY OF MESSIAH MUST BE A GOAL. If it’s not, why not? Check for idols in the use of our time. Check for the worship of Doctrines and of Religion. Check for idols of Laziness, Unholy Compromise, and Procrastination, or Unholy Tolerance.
We must take back the treasure that the Lord has entrusted to us! First, we must take back TRUTH, which is founded in, and commanded by, YHVH. Then, we take back our freedom of choice, our freedom of speech, our freedom to act in obedience to the word of the Lord … the education of our children … the use of our finances (taxes) … our right to vote for Godly leaders and to have fair, honest, and legal elections.
We’ve participated in, or allowed, too much rebellion against the word of the Lord. We’ve handed over too much treasure. We’ve neglected building up the Body of Messiah. We’ve failed to defend and to demand the truth and righteousness. We’ve let accountability slide. All of that indicates that we have had idols occupying the High places in our lives. Between now and March 16th (erev Purim) let’s take down those false altars. Let’s be prepared to come before the King, and to cry out from pure, unified, hearts … free of Idolatry and Pride … ready to risk it all … to ask for deliverance. Then, let’s watch and see it materialize in incredible ways.
It’s time for the King’s convoys of the Righteous Remnant to organize, and to advance against evil powers in all areas of our society. We MUST NOT COMPLY WITH, or SERVE these false gods anymore! We will do that confidently and effectively, as we are intimately in relationship to the Lord, where we can hear His heart … as we know personally WHO WE ARE IN HIM.
