CBO: Legislation considered under suspension of the Rules of the House of Representatives during the week of June 2, 2025
3 p.m., Monday, June 2, 2025

Program for Monday: Senate will be in a period of morning business. At approximately 5:30 p.m., Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Michael Duffey, of Virginia, to be Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment.


Thursday, 5/22, Senate began consideration of four nominations:
  • Michael Duffey, of Virginia, to be Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment.
  • Allison Hooker, of Georgia, to be an Under Secretary of State (Political Affairs).
  • Dale Marks, of Florida, to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense. 
  • Jared Isaacman, of Pennsylvania, to be Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
MONDAY, JUNE 2
On Monday, the House will meet at 11:00 a.m. in pro forma session.


TUESDAY, JUNE 3
On Tuesday, the House will meet at noon for morning hour and 2:00 p.m. for legislative business. Votes will be postponed until 6:30 p.m.

Legislation Considered Under Suspension of the Rules


WEDNESDAY, JUNE 4 AND THE BALANCE OF THE WEEK
On Wednesday and Thursday, the House will meet at 10:00 a.m. for morning hour and noon for legislative business. On Friday, the House will meet at 9:00 a.m. for legislative business. Last votes expected no later than 3:00 p.m.
