Israel strikes deep inside Iran
|
|
|
Israel attacked deep in Iran early Friday morning, reportedly targeting a military facility close to the city of Isfahan, some 930 miles from the Jewish state.
Three Iranian sources confirmed to The New York Times that an airbase in Isfahan was targeted, while anonymous Israeli and U.S. officials were cited by outlets as saying that the IDF conducted the strike.
Iranian media denied any Israeli missile attack, claiming that the Islamic Republic had shot down drones in its airspace. Iran’s nuclear facilities were not hit, according to the U.N.’s atomic watchdog. (JNS.org) Read more here

The UN Security Council is About to Vote for a Palestinian State and Only a US Veto Can Stop it
|
|
Why are they being so quiet about this? On Friday, the UN Security Council will take a vote which will determine whether or not “the State of Palestine” will be granted full UN membership. If this vote is successful, that will formally create a Palestinian state that will have full recognition by the international community. So this is a really big deal. Algeria is the nation that has put this draft resolution forward, and it is scheduled for a vote at 3 PM Eastern time on Friday afternoon.
The United Nations Security Council is scheduled to vote Friday on a Palestinian request for full U.N. membership, said diplomats, a move that Israel ally the United States is expected to block because it would effectively recognize a Palestinian state.
The 15-member council is due to vote at 3 p.m. (1900 GMT) Friday on a draft resolution that recommends to the 193-member U.N. General Assembly that “the State of Palestine be admitted to membership of the United Nations,” diplomats said.
It is being projected that 13 of the 15 members of the Security Council could vote in favor of this resolution, and so Israel is counting on the Biden administration to veto it.
A council resolution needs at least nine votes in favor and no vetoes by the U.S., Britain, France, Russia or China to pass. Diplomats say the measure could have the support of up to 13 council members, which would force the U.S. to use its veto.
Just think about this for a moment.
The only thing standing in the way of a Palestinian state is Joe Biden.

1. US vetoes, Security Council resolution accepting PA as full member fails to pass - Israel National News
The US on Thursday vetoed a Security Council resolution to admit the Palestinian Authority as a full member state of the United Nations.
12 countries voted in favor of the resolution: Slovenia, Sierra Leone, Russia, South Korea, Mozambique, Malta, Japan, Guyana, France, Ecuador, China, and Algeria.
Two countries abstained – Britain and Switzerland.
Foreign Minister Israel Katz said following the vote, “The proposal to recognize a Palestinian state, more than 6 months after the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust and after the sexual crimes and other atrocities committed by Hamas terrorists was a reward for terrorism.” (Read more)

2. US approves Rafah op in exchange for no Israeli counterstrikes on Iran - report - Jerusalem Post
The US has approved a potential Israeli Rafah operation in exchange for the Jewish state not conducting counterstrikes on Iran, according to a Thursday report from the Qatari newspaper The New Arab.
A senior official told The New Arab that "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu managed to obtain American approval for a military operation in Rafah, in exchange for [Israel] refraining from carrying out a wide military operation against Iran in response to its recent attack."
He claimed that "discourse of an Israeli response to Iran contradicts the desires of the American administration, and is not realistic, given the Israeli claims that the United States played the major role in repelling the Iranian attack and preventing its success." (Read more)

3. ICC considering issuing war crimes arrest warrants for Netanyahu, others - report - Jerusalem Post
The International Criminal Court may be considering issuing international arrest warrants in the relatively near future against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other top officials for alleged war crimes, N12 reported Thursday night.
Around 125 countries are members of the ICC, including essentially all of Europe, and are bound by treaty law to honor the ICC’s arrest warrants, though there have been examples of countries protesting such warrants and refusing to honor them.
The report was extremely puzzling given that the ICC has not decided all of the relevant jurisdictional questions it is supposed to decide before reaching an arrest warrants stage.
For example, the ICC is first supposed to address the issue of complementarity, which is the legal question of whether Israel properly probes itself sufficiently such that the ICC would not have the right to address any war crimes complaints based on complementary or additional jurisdiction. 4. Jordan Reaffirms Commitment to Peace With Israel After Iran Attack, Says Ending Treaty Would Hurt Palestinians - Algemeiner
Senior Jordanian officials recently reaffirmed the country’s commitment to maintaining peace with Israel, despite protests erupting across Jordan against their treaty amid the ongoing war in Gaza.
Pro-Hamas protesters have been actively campaigning to end the Israel-Jordan peace treaty, which the two countries signed in 1994 to end the state of war that had existed between them for decades and establish diplomatic relations. The treaty followed the signing of the Oslo Accords, a historic agreement between Israel and the Palestinians.
However, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi said on Sunday that the peace deal was best for not only his country but also the Palestinians.
“The treaty actualized all our rights and served our interests. Revoking it would not be in Jordan’s or the Palestinians’ interest,” Al-Safadi told Jordan’s official news channel Al-Mamlaka in remarks flagged by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). “If we thought even for a moment that revoking it would be in the interest of Jordan or of the Palestinians, we would have done so without hesitation.” (Read more)

5. Iran orchestrating terror attacks in Judea and Samaria – Defense Minister - World Israel
Iran is playing a growing role in funding, arming, and directing Palestinian Arab terrorists in Judea and Samaria, facilitating attacks on Israelis, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Wednesday.
Gallant visited the scene of the terror attack where the late Binyamin Ahimeir, a teenage shephard, was found murdered over the weekend near the Malachei Shalom farm and ranch in Samaria.
During his visit, Gallant received and operational and intelligence briefing regarding the ongoing efforts by the IDF to find Ahimeir’s murderers.
Gallant later held an operational situation assessment together with Head of the IDF’s Central Command, Maj. Gen Yehuda Fox, Commander of the Judea and Samaria Division Brig. Gen. Yaki Dolf, Head of the Civil Administration Lt. Col. Hisham Ibrahim and additional senior officials. (Read more)

6. ISRAEL’S REVENGE: Explosions Reported In Iraq, Syria, And In Iranian Cities With Nuclear Facilities - Yeshiva World News
Explosions were heard in multiple locations across the Middle East late Thursday night, as Israel appears to have begun exacting revenge for Iran’s unprecedented attack on the Jewish State, which saw some 350 suicide drones and missiles fired at Israeli territory.
Explosions have reportedly been heard in Isfahan and Natzanz, both cities in Iran which have nuclear installations. Three explosions have been reported in Isfahan – where Iran has its main nuclear research facility, though it has not been confirmed that a nuclear site has been struck.
One report suggests that Israel has struck 7 Iranian cities in total: Tehran, Fordow, Arak, Natanz, Kharg, Bushehr, and Bandar Abbas. This has not yet been widely confirmed.
Iranian media report that the Hastam Shikari air force base was hit by a missile. The air base was among several from which Iran launched its direct attack against Israel last weekend. According to Iranian media, the IDF may have targeted the 8th Tactical Airbase of the Iranian Air Force, which is near the airport in Isfahan, and which contains multiple squadrons of F-14 Tomcat fighter aircraft. 1. Leading Rabbis (and Scientists) Calling Defense Against Iranian Attack “a Miracle” – Israel365 News
While many are calling the successful defense against the Iranian attack a technological marvel, others are describing the success as Divine Intervention, God protecting the people of Israel. At least one scientist familiar with the defense systems is joining in, claiming the success of the operation was a “miracle”.
Leading Religious Zionist rabbis from the rabbinic Torat Ha’aretz Hatova organization distributed a letter to communities around Israel, calling on them to recite Psalm 136, thanking God for saving the Jews through miraculous intervention during the massive Iranian missile attack on Saturday night.
Israel National News reported the call to prayer, translating the letter as follows:
“This is the day G-d made; we will rejoice and be happy in it. After a night of missiles and UAVs, together we will thank the Holy One, Blessed be He, for the miracles He did for us, when He took us out of Egypt and also for the miracles He did for us in this year.”

2. US Rift with Israel Emboldened Iran to Attack Directly, Analysts Say – JNS.org
On April 14, Iran for the first time broke with its longstanding policy of attacking Israel only by proxy. The question is, why?Analysts offer a variety of explanations, but all agree that Iran’s perception that the United States had distanced itself from Israel was a key driver.
While Iranian proxies in Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq and Syria did participate in Saturday night’s attack, the vast majority of the more than 300 drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles launched at Israel came straight from Iranian territory.
“This is a very strange event. Iranian strategy is to send someone else to get killed,” said Eyal Pinko, a researcher and lecturer at Bar-Ilan University, who served for years in Israeli intelligence services.Iran’s pretext for the attack was retaliation for the April 1 assassination of one of its generals, a targeted killing attributed to Israel. However, Pinko told JNS, “Iranian generals have been killed before. It doesn’t explain the change in doctrine.”According to Pinko, “Iran perceived Israel as weak on several fronts, foremost among which is that it saw a significant decline in U.S. support.”
He noted the Biden administration’s growing criticism of Israel’s conduct of the war against Hamas, culminating in America’s failure to veto a U.N. Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire. (Read more)

3. Biden’s Punishing Iran Sanctions for Israel Attack End up Being Meek Political Smokescreen – ZeroHedge
President Biden has unveiled the administration's promised new sanctions on Iran targeting the country's drone, steel and automotive industries, which is 'punishment' in response to the unprecedented Saturday overnight Iranian ballistic missile and drone attack against Israel.
Biden's Thursday statement presented the sanctions as part of his vow to help defend Israel and all about "holding Iran accountable". Biden touted that during the weekend attack, "Together with our allies and partners, the United States defended Israel."
"The sanctions target leaders and entities connected to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Iran’s Defense Ministry, and the Iranian government’s missile and drone program that enabled this brazen assault," he said, also emphasizing that G7 partners are committed to "acting collectively to increase economic pressure on Iran."
This is toward restricting "Iran's destabilizing military programs" and to utilize sanctions "that further degrade Iran’s military industries." But at the same time US have officials have reportedly been warning Israel behind the scenes that it should not pursue a military strike against Iran. (Read more)

- Precious Lord, we come against this weakness that has been projected by the current office holder and decree and declare that further sanctions will actually be enacted that will be effective in limiting Iran's ability to produce and deploy weapons against their neighbors, especially Israel. We pray that Iran will be hit with proven sanctions such as cutting off their oil sales, and also, other measures more effective than what is in place now. Cloud computing’s demand for electricity strains a grid that is already predicted to feature power shortages and routine rolling blackouts in the coming years
As federal net-zero policies attempt to shift transportation, heating, and other essentials onto the electric grid, one of the hottest growth sectors of America’s economy is poised to increase electricity demand exponentially, further straining an energy infrastructure that is being pushed into the red.
Data centers, the so-called “brains of the internet,” are industrial warehouses packed with rows upon rows of servers. They process, communicate, and store the data behind everything from bank records, online retailers, and social media platforms to Netflix shows and your personal iPhone videos.
“Data centers are essential to cloud computing and its ability to give users remote access to data,” a 2023 Federal Reserve reportstates, quoting a Science article that calls them the “information backbone of an increasingly digitalized world.”
Many analysts laud data centers as one of the fastest-growing sectors of the real estate market, but the industry may soon find itself hitting a wall as local communities put up increasing resistance to the industry’s seemingly insatiable appetite for power and water. (Read more)

5. In the Race to the White House, Illegals Will be Casting Votes in the Swing State of Arizona – The Gateway Pundit
As it stands, liberal Arizona voting laws have paved the way for non-citizens, whether they are legal or not, to register for and cast a ballot in the 2024 presidential election. The Gateway Pundit spoke to retired U.S. Air Force master sergeant Nick Kupper, who is one of several state legislature candidates vying for a seat in the Arizona House of Representatives’ District 25. While the voting laws do not affect his run for office, he is gravely concerned about the upcoming presidential race.
“In Arizona,” Kupper said, “even if the state can’t verify whether you’re a citizen, people can still assert that they are citizens.” While these individuals are not allowed to vote in Arizona elections, they can still vote in the federal election. “They can still vote for the president,” he explained.
In an April 16 post on X, Kupper pointed out that “In 2020 Biden got 73% of the federal only votes & Trump lost AZ by 10K votes. There are now over 32K federal only voters in AZ which would give Biden 15K more votes than Trump in 2024.”
“I think it’s pretty telling that the current president is allowing, enabling, and encouraging people to come across the border, as I’m sure he and his administration know that these kinds of rules are on the books in Arizona,” he said. “This has to change, because Arizona is a huge player in the federal election.” (Read more) |

Hidden voters, third party candidates, and turnout figures compound uncertainty over the outcome
Former President Donald Trump is trending up in the election. He leads President Joe Biden by two to seven points in multi-candidate races in all swing states, according to an average of polls conducted from January through March. Trump is still in the lead when third-party candidates are excluded.
For pollsters, putting together a statistical sample that represents the electorate is a perennial challenge. Using polls to attempt to predict the outcome of an election is an even bigger hurdle to clear. Here are some factors that polls may not be telling us about the 2024 election.
Trump’s ‘Hidden Voters’ Become More Vocal
Trump’s “hidden voters” are getting more vocal in polls, according to Robert Cahaly, Trafalgar Group’s head pollster, who had the most accurate results predicting a Trump victory in 2016.
“The hidden Trump vote has always been there, and there’s a certain segment of Trump people who just won’t say they’re for Trump,” Mr. Cahaly told The Epoch Times, adding that while the share varies by state, “you’ve probably got three to five percent of Trump people kind of under the radar.” (Read more)

weaknesses of using AI to fact-check; may this information be shouted from the
rooftops so that no one could miss it. Bring on the whistle-blowers and truth-

We earnestly pray for all legitimate voters within our borders to not be foolish but
to desire truth and to discern the candidates that You know are best for us.
Please, Abba, come in revival and turn this nation around that we might bless
You and be the blessing to the world that You have called us to be. May we never

Out of one side of his mouth, Joe Biden says he supports Israel. On the other side of his mouth, Biden funds terrorists whose sole mission is the annihilation of Israel. This dualism undermines peace and threatens the security of every American and Israeli citizen. In less than a week, two Biden Administration officials gave opposite statements on use of US aid to Iran. A Deputy Treasury secretary said Iran uses all humanitarian aid for the military. A National Security Council advisor said the US is careful to make sure that none of the humanitarian aid to Iran is used by the military. This against the backdrop of report after report that Biden Administration humanitarian aid funds Hamas and Houthi terrorism.
In an April 3 letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Secretary of State Antony Blinken, 13 Senators led by Tim Scott (R-SC) expressed their concern that the Biden Administration’s decision to renew a waiver of Iranian sanctions would lead to more terrorist attacks. They wrote, “First, the waiver makes restricted Iranian funds more accessible to the Ayatollah’s regime, at a time when Iranian-backed aggression in the region is at a peak. River Turns Blood-Red in Iran Just in Time for Passover

While Iran is suffering from an extended drought, its prayers for rain were answered in the most Biblical manner as a video appeared on social media showing torrential rainfall flowing bright red.
Iran’s Meteorological Organization is not known for its prophetic inclinations. However, last month, it issued a “red warning” for flooding in five western provinces as a new wave of heavy rains approaches just ahead of Nowruz, the Persian New Year. Iran is suffering a drought, and overall rainfall for the year is 28 percent below the long-term average.
Rain did indeed fall in copious amounts, but videos on social media showed torrents of water flowing blood red on the island of Hormuz. While the phenomenon is not unknown, the event’s timing caused many to comment.
Just a few days ago, Iran launched a massive attack, targeting Israel with over 350 drones, ICBMs, and cruise missiles. Miraculously, the attack was largely ineffective.
And Jews worldwide will be reading about a blood-red river next Monday night at the Passover Seder. This was described in the book of Exodus:

Why Does the World Seem to Be in a constant State of Crisis?

For over four years now, almost everyone who pays attention to what's going on in the world lives in a constant state of anxiety. The reason? They're waiting for the next shoe to drop - the next major global event that will upend their lives.
This is understandable. Over the past four years, we've endured COVID, the government response to COVID (lockdowns, passports, mandates, etc.), global supply chain issues, global inflation, Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the October 7th Hamas attack on Israel, the shutdown of Red Sea shipping lanes, and numerous rumors of other major events set to break at any moment. So what's next? Will it get worse before it gets better? The answer is yes, and this article reveals why.
The Interregnum
One of the reasons we see all these events taking place is the interregnum. What does that mean? Well, The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition defines an interregnum as:
"The interval of time between the end of a sovereign's reign and the accession of a successor."
This typically describes a time period between two reigning kings, but in this instance, we're using it to describe the time period between one superpower or group dominating global affairs and second rising to take its place. The last time we experienced an interregnum of this type was the 1914 to 1945 timeframe. Needless to say, this was quite a tumultuous era - 31 years that included two world wars and a global depression.
When 1914 started, the Royal Navy of the British Empire ruled the high seas. The colonies of the British Empire spanned the globe, and it had dominated the 19th Century global order - controlling the world's shipping lanes, issuing the world's global reserve currency (the pound), and boasting the world's premiere center of international finance (London).
When 1945 ended, the United States Navy ruled the high seas. U.S. military bases spanned the globe, and the United States dominated the 20th Century global order - controlling the world's shipping lanes, issuing the world's global reserve currency (the dollar), and boasting the world's premiere center of international finance (New York).
As 2024 begins, we see U.S. naval power waning. Houthi rebels have shut down the Red Sea to all traffic from Israel, the United states, and their western allies. Almost 12% of all global trade passes through the Suez Canal, making the Red Sea one of the most vital shipping corridors in the world. For over 80 years, the U.S. Navy has carried out the role of ensuring the world's shipping lanes remain freely navigable and open to international trade. Now, they are increasingly unable to do so.

What's Really Happening...
If the interregnum alone is not the reason for this constant state of crisis, then what's really happening? Why do we see all these global events taking place? The answer is simple.
Jesus is coming.
The constant state of crisis we see today is exactly what Jesus said the world would look like just before his return:
"Later, Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives. His disciples came to him privately and said, "Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will signal your return and the end of the world?" Jesus told them, "Don't let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Messiah.' They will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don't panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won't follow immediately. Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come." Matthew 24:3-8 (NLT)

Nova explosion to occur in 2024; astronomers say it happens every 80 years
Another special cosmic event is to occur this year, and it could be a "once-in-a-lifetime viewing opportunity," according to NASA.
It’s a nova explosion located in a star system 3,000 light years away from Earth and astronomers predict it will be visible to the "unaided eye" sometime in 2024.
"Unfortunately, we don't know the timing of this as well as we know the eclipse," Bill Cooke, lead for NASA's Meteoroid Environment Office (MEO) at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, told Fox News Digital.
T Coronae Borealis, nicknamed "the blaze star," is one of 10 known recurrent novas in the galaxy.
"A typical nova consists of a star, like a red giant — a star bigger than the sun — and a white dwarf, which is a star about the size of the Earth," Cooke said.
