Melania Trump announces Trump Accounts for foster children
|

|
First Lady Melania Trump has launched a new program to expand President Donald Trump’s Trump Accounts to provide retirement savings accounts to foster children. Mrs. Trump announced the Fostering the Future Accounts on Friday as part of her Be Best and Fostering the Future initiatives.
“Fostering the Future Accounts give foster children the same chance for asset ownership and long-term wealth building as every other American child,” the first lady explained on Friday. “By investing in our foster youth now, we help strengthen America’s workforce, communities, and economic future. For the first time, children in foster care will have access to a dedicated savings and investment vehicle,” she said. “Fostering the Future accounts give foster children the same chance for asset ownership and long-term wealth building as every other American child.”
In January, President Trump launched the Trump Accounts, which are individual retirement accounts (IRAs) that parents can open for their minor children as early as the child’s birth. A Trump Account is opened fully in the child’s name, and his or her parent is the custodian until they reach the age of 18. At that time, they can choose to withdraw their funds or allow it to continue to grow. No contributions are necessary, but parents and guardians can choose to contribute up to $5,000 per year. Children born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028, will receive an initial deposit of $1,000 from the federal government into their Trump Accounts. (Oann) Read More Here |

Trump says peace pact reached with Iran, oil set to flow through Strait of Hormuz
|

President Donald Trump on Sunday announced that the deal with Iran had been finalized before declaring an immediate end to the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports and authorizing the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to shipping.
“The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete,” Trump wrote on Truth Social before offering "congratulations to all!”
“I hereby fully authorize the toll-free opening of the Strait of Hormuz and, simultaneously, authorize the immediate removal of the United States Naval blockade,” he said.
“Ships of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow!” Trump added. (Read more)

‘86 47′ Message Carved Into National Mall Grass
Days Before Trump Birthday Event

The numbers “86 47” were found carved into a section of grass on the National Mall on Thursday, days before large crowds are expected to gather in Washington, D.C., for a UFC event scheduled on President Donald Trump’s birthday.
Live webcam footage from the showed the numbers cut into a large patch of discolored grass east of the World War II Memorial. Officials have not determined when the markings were made. Photographs of the National Mall taken on June 5 did not show the numbers.
The markings were not easily visible from ground level Thursday afternoon. Witnesses said several emergency vehicles blocked off the area around 1:00 p.m. while the U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team landed nearby. A law enforcement source told CNN that the Secret Service will assist Park Police if investigators identify a suspect.
A Park Police spokesperson said authorities have not determined what caused the grass damage but have collected samples for testing. The Department of the Interior condemned the incident as “deranged vandalism.”
“Any threat against the President is taken very seriously by the Department, and our U.S. Park Police will investigate this incident and hold those responsible accountable,” a department spokesperson said.
The numbers “8647” have been used by some opponents of Trump, while members of his administration have characterized the phrase as a threat against the president. The Justice Department is escalating its clash with California over voter-roll access, accusing state officials of blocking a federal audit — though Golden State officials warn the demand threatens voter privacy and oversteps federal authority.
The dispute centers on voter roll maintenance and access to registration records, not any publicly identified allegation of impropriety in a specific California race.
"If California genuinely wants voters to trust its elections, it should open its records, not fight to keep them closed," Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli said in a lengthy post on X that included a copy of a letter U.S. Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who leads the DOJ office enforcing federal voting-rights laws, sent to California Secretary of State Shirley Weber last year demanding the state's voter rolls for inspection. Some Democrats Propose Tearing Down White House Ballroom: It’s ‘Dirty’
|
|
Some Democrats hate President Donald Trump’s White House ballroom construction so much that they are in favor of tearing it down.
President Trump has emphasized the need for the White House ballroom, particularly in the wake of the failed assassination attempt during the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner at the Washington Hilton in April.
“What happened last night is exactly the reason that our great Military, Secret Service, Law Enforcement and, for different reasons, every President for the last 150 years, have been DEMANDING that a large, safe, and secure Ballroom be built ON THE GROUNDS OF THE WHITE HOUSE,” Trump wrote on Truth Social after the near-incident.

We take Your authority over the Trump Derangement Syndrome exhibited by these Democrats and bind all the hatred being manifested in it. We pray for repentance to flow through all political parties. 1. Israel alarmed by 'bad' US-Iran deal, says its 'voice is not being heard' - YNET News
A senior Israeli official said Saturday evening that the memorandum of understanding expected to be signed Sunday between the United States and Iran is “not a good deal,” warning that Israel has little ability to influence the process despite the direct impact it could have on its security.
“No one is happy with this,” the official said. “We understand that it is not good for us and that it harms Israeli interests. What is troubling is that Israel cannot influence it. Its voice is not being heard.”
The emerging deal is expected to serve as a framework for 60 days of talks, with an option to extend the negotiations for another 60 days. While the White House is presenting it as a diplomatic achievement that could prevent a wider regional war, distance Iran from military nuclear capability and stabilize global energy markets, Israeli officials say it falls short of Israel’s core demands. 2. IDF hits Hezbollah in Beirut in response to cross-border attacks - JNS
The Israel Defense Forces on Sunday attacked Hezbollah terrorist targets in Beirut’s southern suburbs, the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem said.
“In accordance with the directive of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz, the IDF has just struck terrorist targets belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the Dahiyeh district of Beirut,” the PMO stated.
The strike came “in response to Hezbollah’s fire toward Israeli territory,” it added. “Israel will not tolerate attacks on its territory.”
The IDF confirmed that it “precisely struck a Hezbollah infrastructure site in Dahiyeh, Beirut.”

3. Chief of Staff: 'We are prepared for fronts besides Lebanon' - Israel National News
Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir held discussions today with division and brigade commanders in the IDF Northern Command, approved operational plans, and highlighted the military's operational achievements in recent weeks.
Zamir praised the commanders for their initiative, determination, and offensive operations, emphasizing that the IDF continues to operate across all fronts while maintaining a high level of readiness.
The Chief of Staff said that Lebanon remains the IDF's main area of focus, while preparations are also being made for other arenas. He said the operation in the Bofor area is aimed at delaying Hezbollah, damaging its underground infrastructure and command capabilities, and preventing the organization from developing advanced firepower capabilities. IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir held talks Sunday with division and brigade commanders in the Northern Command, as the IDF strikes Hezbollah terrorists in the heart of the Dahiyeh district of Beirut, and as the Iranians are simultaneously threatening to launch a counterattack. At the same time, the IDF stated that "the forces are preparing for Iran to attack Israel in the coming hours."
"We are closely monitoring developments while maintaining a high level of alert and readiness across all fronts. The reality at this time is sensitive and complex," Zamir said. "The entire IDF is determined, alert, ready and operating at varying levels of intensity across all sectors. Lebanon is our main center of gravity, but we are also preparing for developments in other fronts."
The chief of staff added, "The operation in Beaufort is essential from an operational standpoint and in relation to the goals of the campaign. The operation is intended to deepen the operational achievement against Hezbollah and deny it the underground, command, control and fire capabilities it developed over many years. The findings, both above ground and underground, attest to the importance of the infrastructure that was uncovered and to the centrality of the Beaufort area and Ali Taher Ridge for the organization in its attempts to entrench itself and harm residents of northern Israel. Hezbollah has brought disaster upon the State of Lebanon and the Shiite community; the citizens of Lebanon understand this very well. 5. Netanyahu fails to hold security assessment with Lapid, contrary to law

Amid Yair Lapid’s criticism over the premier’s handling of security as the country faces escalating tensions with Iran and Hezbollah, the opposition leader’s spokesperson confirmed to The Jerusalem Post on Sunday that no security meeting between the two leaders had been held since April. 1. Cornyn predicts Trump midterm 'disaster,' then 'the most miserable two years of his life'- Fox News
Republican Sen. John Cornyn of Texas predicted "disaster" in the upcoming midterms and thinks that President Donald Trump will then face "the most miserable two years of his life" during the final stretch of his White House tenure, The New York Times reported.
Cornyn lost the Texas Republican U.S. Senate primary runoff to President Donald Trump-endorsed Lone Star State Attorney General Ken Paxton last month.
The contest was not even close — Paxton shellacked the long-serving incumbent senator in the race. Cornyn has served in the Senate since late 2002.

2. America Becomes India’s Top Gas Supplier amid Strait of Hormuz Conflict - Breitbart
The United States emerged as India’s top supplier of liquified natural gas (LNG) in May, CNBC reported on Thursday, fulfilling a prediction by President Donald Trump last year that America would become a “leading supplier” to the country in the near future.
President Trump made the comments during a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February 2025, hoping to expand American exports to India overall but highlighting the energy sector, particularly LNG and petroleum, as sectors of high potential. While both leaders expressed interest in expanding these sales, the shift to American dominance in LNG accelerated dramatically this year following the eruption of hostilities between America and Iran, resulting in the Iranian terrorist regime attempting to shut down commercial maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.
Citing the data firm Kpler, CNBC reported that India imported 900,000 tonnes of LNG to India in May, not just an increase in imports throughout the past year, but about triple the amount that India imported from America just one month prior. CNBC noted that this amount represented about 40 percent of all LNG India imported last month.
Prior to the expansion of American imports, India’s top LNG supplier was Qatar and the country shipped about 60 percent of its LNG through the Strait of Hormuz. As recently as 2025, Qatar was responsible for about 40 percent of India’s LNG imports. India had long relied on Gulf suppliers due to the lower shipping costs associated with the shorter distance between the exporting and receiving countries, even as some reports suggested that American LNG was, by base price, less expensive. The Iranian government’s attacks on random ships in the Strait of Hormuz and warning that it would blockade shipping there have reportedly made India reconsider the financial costs of buying American LNG.

3. Anti-Semites Lose GOP Primary, Win Democratic One - The Washington Stand
Anti-Semitism had mixed results in Tuesday’s primary elections, prevailing in one Senate contest while going down in flames in another. The two races present a highly suggestive contrast between the health of the two parties on the issue of anti-Semitism.
South Carolina
In South Carolina, Senator Lindsey Graham (R) won a comfortable majority in his quest for a fourth term in the U.S. Senate, beating out five challengers with 56.8% of the vote, with 99% of votes counted.
The only serious challenge came from Mark Lynch, a Greenville businessman who lent $5 million of his personal fortune to his campaign. Graham took the challenge seriously, spending more than $13 million on ads in the primary, and the investment paid off. Lynch took 28.9% of the vote, or just over half of Graham’s tally.
Lynch ran on what he called an “America First” platform, but he adopted a campaign brand that appealed to the more conspiratorial elements of the MAGA movement, especially the anti-Semitic elements. Among the most prominent figures to endorse Lynch were Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and former National Counterterrorism Center Director Joe Kent.
When Massie lost his Republican primary race for reelection last month, he blamed Israel, telling supporters, “I would have come out sooner, but I had to call my opponent to concede, and it took a while to find Ed Gallrein in Tel Aviv.” Kent left his counterterrorism position with an anti-Semitic screed that unconvincingly blamed Israeli influence for the Iran war. 4. Top US ally's defense chief quits, warns military lacks resources for rising threats- Fox News
Britain's defense secretary resigned Thursday after accusing Prime Minister Keir Starmer's government of failing to adequately fund the military despite rising threats from Russia and growing NATO demands, delivering a major political blow to the prime minister ahead of July's alliance summit.
In a sharply worded resignation letter, John Healey said the government had failed to commit the resources needed to execute Britain's long-term defense strategy, arguing the country's armed forces risk being left short of the money, personnel and industrial capacity needed to meet mounting security challenges.
"This new era for defence required further investment through the Defence Investment Plan," Healey wrote. "Since then, you have been unable, and the Treasury has been unwilling, to commit the resources that the nation needs to defend the country at this time of rising threats."
While European governments have pledged major increases in defense spending and warned that Russia poses a long-term threat to the alliance, many continue to struggle with the political and fiscal realities of rebuilding armed forces after decades of post-Cold War cuts. The debate has taken on added urgency as Trump pushes European nations to assume a greater share of responsibility for their own defense.
Healey's departure appears to stem from a dispute over the pace and scale of future defense spending. In his letter, he argued that Britain should commit to spending 3% of gross domestic product on defense by 2030 and criticized a government funding plan that he said would reach only 2.68% by the end of the decade.
"The Government cannot warn about Russia, Iran and China, then produce a Defence Investment Plan that leaves the Armed Forces short of the money, people, stockpiles and industrial capacity needed to meet that threat," retired British army Major Andrew Fox, senior associate fellow at the Henry Jackson Society, told Fox News Digital. 5. Widespread destruction: Tornadoes cause catastrophic damage in Illinois and Indiana communities- Fox Weather
Numerous tornadoes and powerful straight-line winds ripped across communities in northern Illinois and northwestern Indiana on Thursday, destroying homes and toppling trees and power lines amid a severe weather outbreak across the Midwest.
Tornado causes extensive damage in Streator, Illinois.
The National Weather Service (NWS) reported radar-confirmed tornadoes striking towns across both states, including Streator, St. John, Hobart, Merrillville, Hebron, Boone/Kouts and the Wabash/Largo area.
Parts of Chicago were placed under a Tornado Warning Thursday night.
Nearly 500,000 customers across Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan were still without power early Friday. (Read more)

6. 1 dead, 22 injured when tent collapses at Virginia church during storm- USA Today
One person was killed and 22 more people were injured when a large outdoor tent "catastrophically failed" and collapsed due to severe weather conditions at a church service in Virginia on June 12, officials said.
The collapse happened at about 6:45 p.m. ET during an anniversary celebration for EastLake Community Church in Moneta, Virginia, a small community of fewer than 500 residents near Roanoke, according to officials in Bedford County and the church's pastor.
Heavy rain, lightning and strong winds rolled through the region from a "severe storm cell," Bedford County said in a statement. According to the National Weather Service office in Blacksburg, Virginia, the area was under a severe thunderstorm watch at the time of the incident. Forecasters warned of hail, lightning and wind gusts up to 70 mph. (Read more)

Gabbard releases intelligence showing federal government has funded 120 biolabs in 30 countries
|

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced Friday that she is releasing never-before-seen documents concerning the U.S. government funding 120 biolabs in 30 countries, including Ukraine.
"In support of President Trump‘s Executive Order to end federal funding of dangerous gain of function research around the world, and increase transparency and accountability, ODNI [Office of the Director of National Intelligence] will continue working with partners across the administration to identify where these labs are, what pathogens they contain, and what 'research' is being conducted," Gabbard said in X.
In Friday's announcement, Gabbard said that the Intelligence Community had previously warned that a biolab funded by the U.S. existed in Ukraine and likely contained dangerous pathogens. As the war with Russia continues, the labs are vulnerable to Russian attack, seizure or damage.
Many of the 120 labs engaged in research involving highly contagious pathogens and gain-of-function research with little oversight, according to the ODNI release.
"Despite the obvious potential for catastrophic global impact research on dangerous pathogens in biolabs can have, politicians, so-called health professionals like Dr. [Anthony] Fauci, and entities within the Biden administration's national security team lied to the American people about the existence of U.S.-funded and supported biolabs, and threatened those who attempted to expose the truth," Gabbard said in a statement. Holy Lord, we understand that research can help with finding answers to dangerous pathogens. But we also ask that You intervene to stop these labs from conducting “gain of function” research that can ultimately create pandemics and endanger the world. You are the God of all creation, and we place our trust in You for protection.

Trump blasts Tehran after Iran leaks its own demands in peace deal: ‘They better get their act together!’

President Trump expressed frustration with Iran after its Foreign Ministry said Tehran “had not reached a final conclusion” on any peace agreement.
The president called them “very dishonorable people to deal with” and warned, “they had better get their act together and fast!”
His threat comes amid confusion about the status of the peace deal and its contents, given that Iranian and US officials have given contradictory statements on the subject.
Iranian state media reported that Tehran will negotiate with the US to retain the country’s uranium enrichment capabilities. It also reported that Iran has not agreed to ceding management of the Strait of Hormuz and wants the release of $24 billion of Iran’s frozen funds as “compensation” for damage incurred from the bombing campaign.
Trump blasted the reports as having “no relation to the truth.”

El Niño officially arrives during hurricane season with potential to become strongest Super El Niño ever

If things continue as forecast, the CPC said this could be one of the most powerful El Niño events dating back to 1950.

El Niño conditions developed over the last month across the central and eastern Pacific Ocean, as ocean temperatures continue to be above average, and signs are pointing to a "very strong" El Niño later in the year.
NOAA's Climate Prediction Center (CPC) expects El Niño to intensify through this upcoming winter.
The CPC noted that there's a 63% chance of a "very strong" El Niño from November to January.
If things continue as forecast, the CPC said this could be one of the most powerful El Niño events dating back to 1950.
