Planned Parenthood in Crisis,
May Close Hundreds of Abortion Centers
|

The Planned Parenthood abortion business is in crisis and may close as many 200 of its abortion centers that kill babies in abortions. There’s potentially great news for pro-life Americans and little unborn children as America’s biggest abortion company is facing both a federal investigation as well as the potentiality of losing $700 million in annual federal taxpayer funding as the One Big Beautiful Bill has passed the House and is on track for a vote in the Senate. Planned Parenthood abortion clinics rely heavily on Medicaid funding reimbursements and, without those taxpayer funds propping up the abortion business they may be forced to close abortion centers across the country.
A Planned Parenthood spokesperson said people who use Medicaid make up half of the total patient volume nationwide and the abortion business identified 200 of its centers in 24 states that are at risk of closure if defunding occurs. Further analysis from the abortion giant shows 90% of those centers in states where killing babies in abortions is legal and, in 12 of those pro-abortion states, 75% of Planned Parenthood abortion centers could close. That would be about 1/3 of all Planned Parenthood centers nationwide.
Alexis McGill Johnson, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Action Fund, is urging abortion activists nationwide to flood Congress with calls and emails. “We are encouraging everyone to reach out to their representatives about this,” McGill Johnson said. “They know that they’re doing this under a watchful eye, and we want to make sure their constituents know about it.” The pro-life group Americans United for Life is celebrating the potential closures. “So far in 2025 more than a dozen Planned Parenthood clinics have closed, their taxpayer funding is hanging by a thread, and the highest-ranking federal health officials are undertaking a ‘top-to-bottom review’ on the abortion pill,” its CEO John Mize said. “It’s possible that very soon, mail-order abortion could be walked back, and more Planned Parenthood locations could be closing their doors for good.” (Life News) Read More Here |

In recent days, speculation has surged over whether the United States will formally enter the escalating war between Israel and Iran after President Trump called for all American citizens to leave Iran. The president's outspoken calls for an end to the Iranian nuclear program have reignited debates in Washington and across the nation. The most recent reports indicate he has given approval for US military plans but is giving Iran one last chance to surrender.
While some leaders push for a robust military response to support Israel and counter Iran's aggression, others caution against being dragged into another costly, complex conflict in the Middle East. Israel Strikes Tehran Centrifuge Site in Major Air Assault

Over 50 Israeli jets took part in strikes on missile manufacturing sites in and around the
Iranian capital. The Israeli Air Force struck a centrifuge production site in Tehran overnight Tuesday that the military said was used by the Iranian regime to expand and accelerate its uranium enrichment.
More than 50 fighter jets had carried out a series of strikes against targets in the Iranian capital region, the Israel Defense Forces said. “The Iranian regime is enriching uranium for the purpose of developing nuclear weapons,” the IDF stressed in its Wednesday morning operational update. “Nuclear power for civilian use does not require enrichment at these levels.”
Furthermore, the IAF struck several weapons anufacturing sites overnight, including a site
dedicated to manufacturing raw materials and components for surface-to-surface missiles,

Iranian missiles hit a hospital and wound over 200. Israel threatens Iran's top leader

BEERSHEBA, Israel (AP) — Israel's defense minister threatened Iran's supreme leader on Thursday after Iranian missiles crashed into a major hospital in southern Israel and hit residential buildings near Tel Aviv, wounding at least 240 people. As rescuers wheeled patients out of the smoldering hospital, Israeli warplanes launched their latest attack on Iran's nuclear program.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz blamed Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei for Thursday's barrage and said the military "has been instructed and knows that in order to achieve all of its goals, this man absolutely should not continue to exist.”
In Washington, the White House announced that U.S. President Donald Trump will decide within two weeks whether to join Israel’s campaign against Iran’s military and nuclear program, signaling that Trump still sees a window for diplomacy to address Israeli and U.S. concerns about Iran's nuclear program.
"Based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks,” Karoline Leavitt, the press secretary, told reporters, reading out Trump's statement.
Trump has been weighing whether to attack Iran by striking its well-defended Fordo uranium enrichment facility, which is buried under a mountain and widely considered to be out of reach of all but America’s “bunker-buster” bombs.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he trusted that Trump would “do what's best for America. I can tell you that they’re already helping a lot,” Netanyahu said from the rubble and shattered glass around the Soroka Medical Center in Israel’s southern city of Beersheba. (Read more)

Israeli forces also bombed the building in eastern Tehran that houses the Iranian Defense Ministry.

3. IDF confirms Iran launched missile carrying fragmenting cluster warhead - Times of Israel
The IDF’s Home Front Command confirms that Iran launched at least one ballistic missile carrying a cluster bomb warhead at central Israel today.
The missile’s warhead splits while descending, at an altitude of around 7 kilometers, spreading around 20 smaller munitions at a radius of around 8 kilometers. The munitions do not have their own propulsion, and simply fly away randomly to the ground.
One of the small munitions struck a home in the central town of Azor, causing some damage, equivalent to a small rocket. (Read more)

This will help more states survive the transgender legal challenges, and this decision is constitutional. Lord, we pray that more of our states in the US will consider a bill similar in their state. As a journalist for a major newswire service in 1979, I began covering Iran as part of my coverage on the Carter Administration and 1980 Presidential election. In the 1980s, my Iranian education continued as a staffer for two Congressmen on the Foreign Affairs Middle East Subcommittee. In the past two decades, I have written over 1,000 stories and commentaries about Iran, its nuclear weapons program, its place in prophecy and how its actions move the prophecy clock forward. Since 2006, I have been sounding the alarm about Iran’s nuclear ambitions and how the UN International Atomic Energy Agency was inept in preventing them. Israel is now doing what should have been done a decade ago.
All along there have been bad actors aiding abetting Iran in its quest for a nuclear bomb. As early as January 2006, Russian, Iranian and Chinese scientists were working in underground labs to build a missile capable of reaching Europe and carrying a nuclear-sized payload. At the time, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad met in Syria with Palestinian terrorist groups Islamic Jihad, Hamas and Hezbollah, said that it was his uncompromising support for the Palestinian resistance that has caused western nations to come against, what he called, Iran’s undeniable right to peaceful nuclear technology. Amid Riots, Border Patrol Sees Record Low Illegal Immigrant Encounters

As riots against the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency rage on nationwide, the Trump administration is reporting some eye-catching numbers that underscore a significant departure from previous immigration enforcement trends and have sparked widespread discussion about the effectiveness of current policies.
Border czar Tom Homan announced a historic milestone on Tuesday, reporting a record low in illegal immigrant encounters by Border Patrol agents. In a statement shared on X, Homan declared, “In the last 24 hours the Border Patrol encountered a total of 95 illegal aliens across the entire southern border. That is the lowest number EVER recorded.” This figure represents a stark contrast when juxtaposed with the Biden administration’s reported daily encounter rate, which averaged over 10,000 illegal immigrants per day.
“On top of that,” Homan continued, “they released the vast majority [of illegal immigrants] into the US.” The data paints a clearer picture of year-over-year trends. According to The Daily Wire, “CBP agents encountered just 8,725 illegal aliens attempting to enter the United States between ports of entry last month,” marking a remarkable 93% decline from May 2024, when immigration enforcement authorities recorded over 117,000 illegal immigrant encounters at the southwestern border.
Additionally, the number of migrants caught and released into the U.S. by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) plummeted from 62,000 in May 2024 to zero in May 2025, reflecting a near-total halt in the practice of catch-and-release. In their own post, CBP wrote that “this administration has seen the fastest improvement in American border security of all time.” Acting Commissioner of CBP Pete Flores said these numbers are all part of “reinforcing the sustained success of our enforcement efforts in securing the homeland and protecting American communities.” (Washington Stand) Read more here.

In the Darkest Tunnels, Hamas Survivors Found God

The worst pain for the hostage families is not knowing. To the 58 pairs of mothers and fathers who crossed into the 600-day threshold of this nightmare last month, the flickers of hope feel fewer and farther between. “Time is running out,” survivor Yocheved Lifshitz said emotionally. Others, looking at pictures of the dozens still in captivity — more than half of whom are almost certainly dead — can’t begin to comprehend the hell they’ve endured. “It’s hard to imagine what they and their families are going through after 600 days,” Jake Teper shook his head. But in these dark nights of the soul, there’s a common theme among the fortunate ones: God never left.
Sapir Cohen, 30
Like so many of the kidnapped, Sapir’s story is one of endurance. When Hamas terrorists burst through the door of her kibbutz, life as she knew it was over. “They [went] home by home, shooting everywhere. And we just wait [for] our time.” Hiding under the bed, she and her boyfriend, Sasha, heard men in black masks finally crash through the entryway. “They took everything,” she remembers, “… and then I heard Sasha scream.” Kidnapped and thrown on a motorcycle, she arrived in Gaza to angry, bloodthirsty mobs. “They beat me so strong that I put [my] hands on my head, and I was like, ‘Please save me. I don’t want to die here.’”
They didn’t kill her, but for 55 days, she existed in underground tunnels, the bleakest surroundings she could have imagined. “It’s really bad. You can’t know if it’s day or night — and you can’t breathe. It’s very hard to breathe.” But it was there, Sapir knows, that she had a spiritual revelation. “I felt miracles,” she says quietly. “I think that one of the biggest miracles that I felt was maybe I’m supposed to be in this place.”
Sapir was held with a terrified 16-year-old girl, who she made it her mission to care for. “And from that moment, when I decided to take this responsibility, I felt so powerful.” She started thanking God for sending her to Gaza. “I know how to use [the strength You gave me] to keep myself and this girl,” she would pray, adding her gratitude for “all the angels you sent me [in] this hell.”
In the dark, she would repeat a prayer, and somewhere deep inside, “I felt peace. And I didn’t understand. How can I feel it in this situation?” She didn’t grow up as a person of faith, but she knows now: she found it in the darkness of the tunnels. (The Washington Stand) Read more here.

After Minnesota killings, Capitol Hill representatives face stark reality about family safety

Most members of the U.S. House and Senate were nowhere near Washington when a gunman went to the homes of two Minnesota state lawmakers, killing two people and wounding two others. And that’s exactly what rattled U.S. representatives and senators. They, too, weren’t in Washington. They were home for the weekend.
Police accuse Vance Boelter of killing Democratic state Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark. Boelter is also accused of shooting Minnesota state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette. All at their homes.
And that’s exactly what rattled U.S. senators and representatives. They weren’t in Washington. "Minnesota was jarring because (the suspect) went after family," said one House member who has faced threats and asked for anonymity. "We’re gone 50 percent of the time. There are no lines anymore."
Congress lives in the era of doxxing. People sending pizzas to their houses – a not-so-subtle way of saying, "I know where you live." Swatting.
It freaks the lawmakers out. But what shakes the members to the core is when a threat is directed at their families. Maybe a message is sent to the school where their children attend. Looming over the Minnesota massacre is the 2017 Congressional baseball practice shooting, which nearly killed House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La. Then there’s the 2011 near-assassination of former Reps. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., and Ron Barber, D-Ariz.
Rep. Hillary Scholten, D-Mich., canceled a town hall meeting with constituents this week after what went down in Minnesota. "After being made aware that my name was on a list connected to the recent tragic shooting in Minnesota, my office has made the difficult decision to postpone our planned town hall in Muskegon," said Scholten. "Out of an abundance of caution and to not divert additional law enforcement resources away from protecting the broader public at this time, this is the responsible choice."
Officials found the names of dozens of House and Senate members on a list written by the alleged assassin. This begs the question: can congressional security officials keep lawmakers safe?

European satellites succeed in creating
artificial solar eclipse
|

|
A European space agency created the first "artificial total solar eclipse" using a pair of satellites on Monday.
The space agency Proba-3 showed the first images of the Sun's outer atmosphere -- the solar corona. In its announcement, the agency said that this will help improve the understanding of the sun and its atmosphere.
A pair of spacecrafts was used, the Coronagraph and the Occulter. They flew 492 feet apart for several hours without any control from the ground to create an artificial total solar eclipse's orbit. The two satellites use an optical instrument to take photos of the sun's corona.
The agency's goal for this mission was to observe the sun's corona, which the agency said is important for studying solar wind and understanding coronal mass ejections.
"Many of the technologies which allowed Proba-3 to perform precise formation flying have been developed through ESA's General Support Technology Program, as has the mission itself. It is exciting to see these stunning images validate our technologies in what is now the world's first precision formation flying mission," Dietmar Pilz, ESA director of Technology, Engineering and Quality said.
