US House passes bill to force ByteDance to divest TikTok or face ban
The U.S. House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a bill on Wednesday that would give TikTok's Chinese owner ByteDance about six months to divest the U.S. assets of the short-video app, or face a ban, in the greatest threat to the app since the Trump administration.

The bill passed 352-65, with bipartisan support, but it faces a more uncertain path in the Senate where some favor a different approach to regulating foreign-owned apps posing security concerns. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said the Senate will review the legislation.

"We are working tirelessly to continue educating the Senate about the impact this proposed legislation would have on the 170 million Americans who use our service," TikTok told employees in a memo seen by Reuters. "Our strategy remains the same - we continue to believe that the best way to address concerns about national security is with transparent, US-based protection of US user data."
The fate of TikTok, used by about 170 million Americans, has become a major issue in Washington. Lawmakers said their offices had received large volumes of calls from teen-age TikTok users who oppose the legislation, with the volume of complaints at times exceeding the number of calls seeking a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. - Holy One, we pray for protection of our American resources against the infiltration of the CCP, in Jesus name.  We bind and rebuke all spying, snooping and data-mining done against our nation and command the CCP intervention to cease and desist, in Jesus name. Mighty God, would You bring TikTok under American or righteous authority or remove it completely.  It is clearly growing into a stronghold that has sometimes life-threatening stunts for kids; but it also has a good and Godly side to it, so may we judge this matter with divine wisdom and authority, in Jesus name.  Lord God, we pray that our representatives and legislators would come to you and ask you wisdom when making laws that would affect the citizens of our entire nation. We pray Lord, that your will would be done in this situation, in Jesus' name, amen.

- “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” (James 1:5)

"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.  Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding, Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you."      (Psalm 32:8-9)

Turley Says Democrats Appeared ‘Delusional’ During Hur Hearing

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley said the Democrats appeared “delusional” while questioning Special Counsel Robert Hur during a Tuesday congressional hearing about his report on President Joe Biden.

Hur testified before the House Judiciary Committee on his report that detailed Biden as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” The report outlined how the president forgot the timing of when he served as vice president and when his son, Beau, died from brain cancer.

“Well, I thought the Republicans did a particularly good job today,” Turley said on Fox News’ “America Reports.” “Often the Democrats are way ahead in framing of hearings, but at points the Democrats seemed almost to border on the delusional. When you had Hur say ‘I did not exonerate the president’ and then Democrats would say ‘okay, so you exonerated the president’ and he would say ‘no, I didn’t’ and they would say ‘thank you for that, with that exoneration.’ So for a lot of people watching, they probably kept on having to sort of reverse and see if they missed something here.”

“The fact is that Hur tried over and over again to distinguish between his findings, which is that he was not confident he could convict if he did bring any charges, and the statement of Democrats that the president was cleared,” Turley continued.

Turley added that the details in the report making it shocking that there are no charges brought against Biden.

“But out of this hearing, it came really some quite shocking observations. I mean, at the end you sort of still wondering why he wasn’t charged, including Hur saying ‘look, we have audio tape of the president referring to the fact that he found classified evidence in his basement.’ Well, okay, that seems like full knowledge. But he kept on coming back to the fact that I think a jury might have been persuaded that this is a nice, elderly man with a faulty memory,” he continued.

Democratic Washington Rep. Pramila Jayapal repeatedly claimed Hur “exonerated” Biden from prosecution, which the special counsel denied.

“You exonerated him,” Jayapal said during the hearing.

“I did not exonerate him,” Hur responded. “That word does not appear in the report, congresswoman.”

Hur did not press charges against Biden, despite finding evidence that he allegedly knew he had classified documents in his private home, because a jury would find him to be a “well-meaning” old man with a “poor memory.” (Daily Caller) Read more here.

US deploys Marine anti-terrorism unit to Haiti to protect embassy
Officials say Port-au-Prince embassy remains open to support ‘peaceful transition of power’

A Marine anti-terrorism unit has now been deployed to protect the American embassy in Haiti, U.S. military officials say, as violent gangs continue to generate unrest in the Caribbean nation’s capital.

The U.S. Southern Command said in a statement early Wednesday that at the request of the State Department, it deployed a "U.S. Marine Fleet-Anti-terrorism Security Team (FAST) to maintain strong security capabilities at the U.S. Embassy in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and conduct relief in place for our current Marines, a common and routine practice worldwide."

"The U.S. Embassy remains open, and limited operations continue, focused on assistance to U.S. citizens and supporting Haitian-led efforts to secure a peaceful transition of power," it added.

The U.S. military already has sent forces to Haiti over the weekend to bolster security at the U.S. Embassy and airlifted non-essential personnel – such as family of diplomats – who had remained after an order for such individuals to evacuate last summer.

In a briefing on Tuesday, State Department spokesperson Matt Miller said he did not have a firm number on the total number of Americans still in Haiti who are trying to leave.

The deployment of a multinational force to Haiti with a price tag of $100 million was announced by Secretary of State Antony Blinken following a meeting with Caribbean leaders in Jamaica on Monday.  (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord Jesus, we pray for wisdom for this unit as they land in Haiti, so that they can work to protect and provide resources, in Jesus name.  Would You guide them to stand firm and strong in defense of the embassy, all Americans and even others who are vulnerable or at risk of terror attacks at this uncertain time.  We pray for Haiti to come under control of just leaders who can restore order and righteousness to a land in disarray and greatly in need of a God-intervention. We pray for this nation to hear the gospel and respond with hungry hearts turning to His great love and redemption, in Jesus name.

- "O God, the proud have risen against me, And a mob of violent men have sought my life, And have not set You before them.  But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth."    (Psalm 86:14-15)

"Our forces can reach any place, and the conclusion is that there is no safe haven for terrorists in Gaza," the defense minister added.

1. Three States Advance 'Baby Olivia' Bill Requiring Schools to Teach Truth About Fetal Development - CBN News

A handful of states recently advanced a pro-life bill that would require public school students to be shown a fetal development video as part of their health education. The "Baby Olivia" bill requires middle and high school students to view a medically accurate video created by Live Action on fetal development from the moment of fertilization until birth.

So far, members of the Kentucky House advanced the bill as well as the West Virginia Senate, and the Iowa Senate.

"The bill ensures the teaching to our children of basic facts about human development in a very approachable way," Iowa Rep. Anne Osmundson (R-Volga) said of the video. "This is scientific information. This is teaching basic biology to our children. And it helps to answer one of life's biggest questions: where did I come from?"
While the laws do not require schools to play the video produced by Live Action, it does require that the educational material presented to children be "comparable." (Read more)

- We pray Lord that more will see the Baby Olivia video, realize the value of human life, and be inspired to speak up for the unborn. We pray for these bills being considered in KY, WV, MO, and IA that through efforts like these, we would raise up the most pro-life generation in history. Amen!

- “Rescue those being led away to death;
hold back those staggering toward slaughter.” (Proverbs 24:11)

2. Texas House Republican introduces bill to prevent noncitizens from serving as election administrators - Fox News

Rep. August Pfluger, R-Texas, has introduced a measure to prevent noncitizens from serving as election administrators ahead of the 2024 presidential election. Named the "No Foreign Persons Administering Our Elections Act," the measure, if successful, would prohibit state and local jurisdictions from hiring individuals who are not U.S. citizens, including illegal immigrants, to administer an election for federal positions.

"Foreign agents have no place overseeing our sacred democratic process," Pfluger, a member of the House Homeland Security Committee, told Fox News Digital.
"My legislation aims to ensure that only American citizens have the honor and responsibility of serving as election administrators," he added. "No foreign influence should taint the integrity of our voting system."

Pluger's bill comes after Kelly Wong, an immigrant from Hong Kong who is not a U.S. citizen, was appointed to serve on the San Francisco Elections Commission. Wong's appointment to the position was made possible after San Francisco passed a measure in 2020 removing the citizenship requirement to serve on city boards, commissions and advisory bodies. (Read more)

Over 8.7 million illegal aliens have poured into the United States since Joe Biden took over the Oval Office in January 2021. Now, reports are escalating about contagious diseases spreading in the United States, specifically at migrant shelters, including measles and tuberculosis.

Fox News reporter Bill Millugin announced Tuesday, “CNN reports the CDC is arriving in Chicago today to help the city with its first measles cases since 2019. Five cases have been identified in this outbreak so far, four of which are adults and children inside of a migrant shelter in the city.”

The Chicago Department of Public Health said last week that the city had its first measles case since 2019. The person is recovering well at home, the department said. (Read more)

4. Maryland city equity official says she wants US to burn to the ground - Fox News

The City of College Park, Maryland, hired a "racial equity" leader to spearhead its mission to eliminate systemic racism in its departments who has made statements defending violence and promoting the idea of a revolution against the United States.

Kayla Aliese Carter supports "Black liberation" through revolutionary means and said she is working with some activists to plan "how we will eat and live and grow after we burn it all down." She was hired to be a "Racial Equity Officer" under former Mayor Patrick L. Wojahn, who resigned from office after being arrested for child pornography.

According to the city's website, she assembled a team tasked with implementing a "racial equity" agenda across all city departments, affecting policies, practices, programs and budgets. However, after publication, the city told Fox News Digital that Carter doesn't oversee an entire team. (Read more)

5. Judge dismisses some charges against Trump in the Georgia 2020 election interference case - AP News

The judge overseeing the Georgia 2020 election interference case on Wednesday dismissed some of the charges against former President Donald Trump and others, but the rest of the sweeping racketeering indictment remains intact.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee quashed six counts in the indictment, including three against Trump, the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee. But the judge left in place other counts — including 10 facing Trump — and said prosecutors could seek a new indictment to try to reinstate the ones he dismissed.

The ruling is a blow for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who already is facing an effort to have her removed from the prosecution over her romantic relationship with a colleague. It’s the first time charges in any of Trump’s four criminal cases have been dismissed, with the judge saying prosecutors failed to provide enough detail about the alleged crime. (Read more)

- We thank you Lord for this victory! We pray that this entire case would be thrown out in Jesus name. We know we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood and this is a spiritual battle. So we apply the blood of Jesus over this case we declare that truth and justice will be served, and that no improper judgment will be had ,in Jesus' name.

- “For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

6. Putin warns the West that Russia is 'ready' for nuclear war - Fox News

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday warned the West that his country was ready for a nuclear war and said that he would consider the U.S. sending troops to Ukraine as a significant escalation of the war.

"From a military-technical point of view, we are, of course, ready," Putin told state media Rossiya-1 television and news agency RIA after he was asked about a potential nuclear war.

The Russian president said he knows the U.S. is aware that deploying troops to Ukraine or on Russian territory would be viewed by Moscow as intervening in the war. He also urged "strategic restraint."

The comments come after the Pentagon announced Tuesday that it is sending approximately $300 million in weapons to Ukraine in its fight against Russia. (Read more)

- Lord God, we continue to cover Russia and the Russian people in the blood of Jesus. We speak to any potential violence or chaos that it would cease and desist in the name of Jesus. We pray Your perfect peace over Russia, the Russian people, and America that drives out all fear in Jesus name amen.

- “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”           (2 Timothy 1:7)

7. Thousands of Haitians dumped in US, but DHS won’t say where - Washington Examiner

The Department of Homeland Security has guided over 130,000 illegal immigrants from gang-ravaged Haiti into dozens of unidentified American cities, but it won’t say where. Many of the 133,000 arrived in just one city that the Biden administration won’t identify, according to a federal report reviewed by the Center for Immigration Studies.

The Washington-based CIS, which backs ending illegal immigration, said that many immigrants flew themselves to the unidentified cities, while others arrived through land ports only to be released to wherever they wanted to go.

The report followed on another from a week ago that revealed how the administration let 320,000 “inadmissible” illegal immigrants into up to 43 unidentified cities. Some in Congress are now demanding to know where the immigrants ended up. (Read more)

- Lord God we ask that you would give this current administration wisdom and sound reasoning when making decisions like this that impact our nation. We pray you help the states properly deal with the situation. We ask for a miracle Lord in our nation and with our immigration system that justice, law, and order would be restored, in Jesus' name amen.

Stupidocrisy: The Prophecy Clock And Iran

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, March 13, 2024

For nearly 20 years, I’ve been following the Iranian nuclear program and the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) feckless attempts to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons. Seems like every six months, the IAEA has had some statement that Iran is still enriching uranium, it’s not using it to produce nuclear weapons, there are many aspects to a weapons program and Iran is not there yet. All that is changing. On February 19, IAEA head Rafael Grossi said Iran is continuing to enrich uranium beyond commercial grade use. On March 4, Grossi admitted: “the agency has lost continuity of knowledge about the production and inventory” of Iran’s components used to possibly build a nuclear weapon.

According to the Jerusalem Post, Grossi told the IAEA Board of Governors that it’s been three years since IAEA has been able to inspect to the Iranian program and that the only obstacle to Iran producing a nuclear weapon is the political decision to do so. He said, “Public statements made in Iran regarding its technical capabilities to produce nuclear weapons only increase my concerns about the correctness and completeness of Iran’s safeguard declarations.” In December 2005, The Daily Jot reported, that then IAEA chief Muhammad ElBaradei said that if Iran resumed enrichment of uranium as threatened, the rogue nation would have a nuclear bomb within a few months.  A month before, ElBaradei said that there was no evidence that Iran had a nuclear weapons program. Splashdown! NASA’s SpaceX Crew-7 Finishes Mission, Returns to Earth

NASA’s SpaceX Crew-7 completed the agency’s seventh commercial crew rotation mission to the International Space Station on Tuesday after splashing down safely in a Dragon spacecraft off the coast of Pensacola, Florida. The international crew of four spent 199 days in orbit.

NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Andreas Mogensen, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Satoshi Furukawa, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov, returned to Earth splashing down at 5:47 a.m. EDT. Teams aboard SpaceX recovery vessels retrieved the spacecraft and its crew. After returning to shore, the crew will fly to NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.

“After more than six months aboard the International Space Station, NASA’s SpaceX Crew-7 has safely returned home,” said NASA Administrator Bill Nelson. “This international crew showed that space unites us all. It’s clear that we can do more – we can learn more – when we work together. The science experiments conducted during their time in space will help prepare for NASA’s bold missions at the Moon, Mars, and beyond, all while benefitting humanity here on Earth.”

The Crew-7 mission lifted off at 3:27 a.m. Aug. 26, 2023, on a Falcon 9 rocket from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. About 30 hours later, Dragon docked to the Harmony module’s space-facing port. Crew-7 undocked at 11:20 a.m. Monday, March 11, to begin the trip home. Read More

Women’s Advocacy Groups Lead “We Won’t Back Down” Demonstration At The NCAA DIII Track & Field Championships in Virginia Beach
WASHINGTON, DC — During the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Track and Field Championships, which begin on March 8, female athletes, coaches, and advocates will gather in Virginia Beach to continue their multi-year protest against male-bodied athletes taking roster spots from female athletes, breaking women’s records, and stealing women’s opportunities to compete in the first instance. On Friday, a male-bodied athlete from Rochester Institute of Technology will sprint to the finish in the women’s 200 meter dash, after seizing records and top podium spots from deserving female athletes. NCAA policy allows males who identify as women to play women’s sports, so long as their levels of testosterone meet sport-specific requirements. The policy contradicts scientific studies that have found testosterone suppression cannot eliminate the male athletic advantage. Moreover, it ignores the legal obligation of its member schools to provide males and females equal opportunities to compete.

Demonstration activities are sponsored by Our Bodies, Our Sports, a coalition of women’s advocacy groups from across the political spectrum who are demanding action from the NCAA. Organizations include Independent Women’s Forum, Independent Council on Women’s Sports, the Women’s Sports Policy Working Group (led by Martina Navratilova), Women’s Declaration International, Concerned Women for America, Young Women for America, Women’s Liberation Front, Champion Women, Independent Women’s Network, International Consortium on Female Sport, and Independent Women’s Law Center. As with other recent demonstrations, the theme for the activities at the DIII Track and Field Championships is ”We Won’t Back Down.” The theme reflects the determination of women across the country to protect the sanctity of the female sporting category.  Allowing males to compete in women’s sports is discriminatory and unfair. Current NCAA policies put their member schools between a rock and a hard place — forcing schools to choose between complying with the law (Title IX and the laws of over 20 states) and NCAA inclusion policies.  “Fighting for women and girls’ fairness in sports is not political – it is the right thing to do. We have to keep sex categories in sports to keep girls and women in sports. They must know females have a fair chance at competing and winning. We fought too hard to give them this chance. Let’s keep it that way.” Martina Navratilova, Leader in the Women’s Sports Policy Working Group and one of the greatest tennis players of all time.(IWF.org) Read More Here

- Father we lift PRAISE for the awakening of the citizens of America standing against gender ideologies and fighting for commonsense rights for women! We thank You for answered prayer in widespread-support regarding gender differences and the disapproval of biological-men competing in women sports. May women's advocacy groups place unrelenting pressure upon the NCAA until the forced inclusion policies are null and void. Let the voices of wisdom be heard, moving mightily in this circumstance, to bring Your holy re-alignment into the heart of our Nation! In Jesus mighty and powerful Name-Amen

There’s a land that is fairer than day,
And by faith we can see it afar;
For the Father waits over the way
To prepare us a dwelling place there.

In the sweet by and by,
We shall meet on that beautiful shore;
In the sweet by and by,
We shall meet on that beautiful shore.

We shall sing on that beautiful shore
The melodious songs of the blessed;
And our spirits shall sorrow no more,
Not a sigh for the blessing of rest.

To our bountiful Father above,
We will offer our tribute of praise
For the glorious gift of His love
And the blessings that hallow our days.
