Georgia lawmakers react to judge's ruling allowing Fani Willis to stay on Trump case: 'Wholly insufficient'

Reactions from Georgia lawmakers poured in on Friday after a judge ruled that embattled Fulton County DA Fani Willis could remain on the case investigating alleged election interference by former President Donald Trump.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee issued a ruling Friday that Willis, who was accused of an improper romantic relationship that she attempted to cover up with special counsel Nathan Wade, could remain on the case if she fired Wade which prompted pushback from Georgia Republicans.

"The ruling by Judge McAfee seems to clearly identify impropriety between the DA and Mr. Wade," Georgia Republican State Rep. Josh Bonner told Fox News Digital.  "Unfortunately, it does not address the purely partisan nature of the case brought by a rogue District Attorney more interested in scoring political points than prosecuting criminals in Fulton County." - Lord God, we pray for your justice to rain down in this situation. We pray Lord, that this case would be viewed by integral judges of Godly character. We pray that righteousness would reign and that all corruption would cease in Jesus name amen.

Judge delays Trump's hush-money trial amid last-minute evidence dump by feds
Both sides have fought over the hundreds of thousands of pages of information that's likely to delay start of Trump's trial in New York

A judge on Friday delayed former President Donald Trump's hush-money criminal trial by 30 days to give his defense lawyers time to go through a large amount of recently obtained evidence from a previous federal investigation on the matter.

Judge Juan Merchan agreed to a 30-day postponement and scheduled a March 25 hearing to address questions about the Justice Department evidence dump.

The Justice Department had notified Trump's legal team and the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg that it planned to produce 15,000 records of potential evidence on Friday. The DOJ investigated the hush-money payment matter while Trump was president.

The U.S. Attorneys Office said much of the material is unrelated to the state case against Trump. The federal prosecutors have already provided at least 104,000 pages of records — 74,000 of which initially went just to Bragg's office and not to Trump's lawyers.

Bragg's office has since turned over those 74,000 pages to the defense. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord God, we cover all judges and courts in the blood of Jesus. We pray for every judge in our land that they would find beauty in the freedoms and privileges that have been given to every American. We pray Lord, that they would choose to hold true to their oath to uphold those sacred privileges instead of tear them down, in Jesus name, amen.

U.S. at Risk of Being ‘Largely Reliant’ on China for Syringes and Other Critical Supplies, Senators Warn

The United States has more than doubled its reliance on imported needles and syringes from China and other countries in the last six years, putting Americans at risk, despite President Joe Biden recently touting efforts to manufacture goods in America.

According to Sens. Pete Ricketts (R-NE) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), in 2018, the U.S. imported only 15 percent of the 10 million needles and syringes used every day in America. However, that percentage is now 40 percent, the senators said in a recent op-ed.

Not only is that putting Americans’ lives at risk from faulty Chinese needles and syringes, but it has caused the shutdown of four out of six manufacturing sites in the U.S., the senators said.

Ricketts and Blumenthal wrote Wednesday in the RealClearPolitics op-ed:

As we learned during the COVID-19 pandemic, relying on health care products produced outside the United States carries significant risks. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is currently investigating reports of faulty syringes made in China. Leaking or broken syringes have serious medical consequences, such as delivering the wrong dose of a medication—a potentially fatal mistake.

The senators noted that during the COVID-19 pandemic, American businesses and manufacturers ramped up production of “everything from respirators to hand sanitizers,” and urged for that to continue.

Ricketts and Blumenthal added:

Without a resilient domestic supply chain for medical supplies, we risk our nation’s crisis response, and the health of our citizens. The most effective way to ensure the quality of these products is to manufacture them in the U.S. If we don’t change course soon, we risk losing the last of our syringe manufacturing facilities, which would make the United States largely reliant on China — a mistake we can’t afford to make.

It is not just needles and syringes that are being imported in greater amounts from China in recent years — it is also other critical supplies such as rubber medical gloves. (Breitbart)

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. IDF kills 50 terrorists, arrests 300 in second day at Shifa Hospital - Jerusalem Post

The IDF announced on Tuesday that during its two-day operation in the Shifa Hospital complex in northern Gaza, it killed around 50 Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists and arrested around 300.

According to the IDF, among them were senior and mid-level operatives who oversee operations in the West Bank, handle public relations issues, and steer broad rocket firing strategy and operations. IDF Special Intelligence Unit 504 is interrogating many of them on the spot.

The operation started in the middle of the night between Sunday and Monday and included the killing of Hama Interior Ministry Operations Chief Faack Mabhouh. The Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Akhbar newspaper reported new claims regarding his killing on Tuesday. According to the report, in the past few weeks, Mabhouh has been holding meetings with UN representatives along with local Gaza clans, which resulted in the arrival of two sets of trucks delivering goods and humanitarian aid to the Strip. Two members of the Shin Bet were wounded, one of them seriously, in a shooting attack in the Gush Etzion settlement bloc in the southern West Bank on Tuesday, the security agency and the military said.

The attack took place between the settlement of Migdal Oz and the Gush Etzion Junction.

The Shin Bet said the gunman opened fire at the two officers, who were carrying out routine security operations in the area. (Read more)

The strikes caused “material losses,” according to the report.

4. We Are Determined to Do This’: Netanyahu Reaffirms Intention to Launch Rafah Offensive After Biden Expresses ‘Deep’ Concern - Algemeiner

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday reaffirmed his intention to launch a military offensive into Rafah — the Hamas terror group’s last stronghold in Gaza — despite US President Joe Biden’s warning against such a move just a day earlier.

“We are determined to complete the elimination of Hamas,” Netanyahu said in introductory remarks to the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee of Israel’s parliament, known as the Knesset. “This requires the elimination of the remaining battalions in Rafah and, of course, the 1.5 battalions in the camps in the center. We are determined to do this.”

Netanyahu’s comments came one day after Biden told Netanyahu that he has “deep concerns about the prospect of Israel conducting a major ground operation in Rafah, where more than one million displaced civilians are currently seeking shelter after fleeing fighting in the north,” according to a White House readout regarding their conversation. 5. Canada to stop arms exports to Israel - Israel National News

Canada will end arms exports to Israel, Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly told the Toronto Star today (Tuesday).

"It is a real thing," Joly said.

The announcement follows the approval by Canada’s parliament on Monday of a motion submitted by the New Democratic Party (NDP) on Palestinian statehood. The motion included calls for an immediate ceasefire to end Israel's military operations in Gaza and to end arms sales to Israel.

The motion was non-binding. Nevertheless, the Trudeau government intends to comply with it. When asked if the measures in the motion should now be considered the government's official position, Joly said it is "clearly the intent of this government." (Read

1. Trump unleashes fury over massive NY ‘fraud’ judgement - DML News

Former President Donald Trump, the Republican presidential presumptive nominee, has blasted out a series of posts on social media, with regards to the astronomical judgement against him by Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron.

Trump has been ordered to shell out a half a billion dollars in the civil fraud case brought against him by New York Attorney General Letitia James.  The deadline to pay up, or risk losing his assets, is set for next Monday, March 25.

Engoron ruled on the massive judgement against Trump in February, after a non-jury trial in which James accused him of misrepresenting the value of his properties – although bank officials had testified in defense of Trump. (Read more)
- Mighty God, we cry out for justice and fairness in this matter. We know that this judge has shown himself to be corrupt in many different ways and we pray for him to repent and be redeemed, in Jesus name. Nevertheless, this incredible amount of money being waged against President Trump and not allowing him any redress, is wrong and we pray Holy King that You will intervene and pour out righteousness and provision from on High, in Jesus Holy name.  Amen.

2. Trump sues ABC and Stephanopoulos, alleging defamation over Mace interview - The Hill

Former President Trump sued ABC News and George Stephanopoulos on Monday, alleging defamation over the anchor’s questioning of Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) about her endorsement of Trump.

The March 10 interview on “This Week” made headlines after Mace, a rape survivor, accused Stephanopoulos of trying to “shame” her by probing why she endorsed the former president despite juries’ recent verdicts against him in advice columnist E. Jean Carroll’s sexual battery and defamation lawsuits.

Trump’s lawsuit takes aim at how Stephanopoulos at multiple points in his questioning said Trump had been found “liable for rape.” The jury had found Trump liable for sexual abuse under New York law, but not rape.
“Judges and two separate juries have found him liable for rape and for defaming the victim of that rape. How do you square your endorsement of Donald Trump with the testimony we just saw, ” Stephanopoulos asked during the interview. (Read more)

- Holy One, we pray for victory for President Trump and Rep Mace in this fight for integrity and honor. We have seen, as a nation, such deep levels of malice and deception, that it is hard to know what to believe in the natural.  We praise You Father, for Your Holy Spirit, Who speaks truth and releases anointing and revelation over the spiritual aspects of our nation.  We look forward to seeing Your wonder-working power bring this nation to repentance, in Jesus name.

- "The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him.  I will beat down his foes before his face And plague those who hate him.  But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him, . . . "  (Psalm 89:22-24a)

3. Supreme Court Lifts Stay on Texas Law that Gives Police Powers to Arrest Migrants at Border - Breitbart

A divided Supreme Court has lifted a stay on a Texas law that gives police broad powers to arrest migrants suspected of crossing the border illegally while a legal battle over immigration authority plays out.

Supreme Court lifts stay on Texas law that gives police broad powers to arrest migrants at borderThe Associated Press
A divided Supreme Court on Tuesday lifted a stay on a Texas law that gives police broad powers to arrest migrants suspected of crossing the border illegally while a legal battle over immigration authority plays out.

The Biden administration is suing to strike down the measure, arguing it’s a clear violation of federal authority that would hurt international relations and create chaos in administering immigration law. A judge could then order them to leave the U.S.

Texas has argued it has a right to take action over what Gov. Greg Abbott has described as an “invasion” of migrants on the border. (Read more)

- Thank You Father, for bringing this matter under Your authority and causing the Supreme Court to rule in favor of Texas sovereign state's rights against the federal government overreach. We know that it has been held up for the last period of time, but we have prayed and sought righteousness on behalf of Texas and this nation regarding the border. Now law enforcement officers are able to follow state law to arrest and return illegal migrators back where they came from. May this action result in a great stemming of the tide of people desperate to come into the United States, in Jesus name.

- "'Then you shall again discern Between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God And one who does not serve Him.'"  (Malachi 3:18)

4. Report: Tyson Foods Inc. Plans to Hire 42,000 More Migrants - Breitbart

Tyson Foods Inc. is reportedly hoping to offer employment to additional migrants, as President Joe Biden says he wants more of them to fill workplaces and jobs across the nation. Bloomberg reported on March 11 that Tyson is working with the nonprofit group Tent Partnership for Refugees in the hiring project that centers on those who have come through New York City’s intake system.

The company already has approximately 42,000 immigrants in its workforce, the report said. “We would like to employ another 42,000 if we could find them,” said Tyson Human Resources leader Garrett Dolan. On Saturday, Fox Business reported the company is pushing back against the news and has accused the Bloomberg article of “misinformation.”

The outlet reported:
“In recent days, there has been a lot of misinformation in the media about our company, and we feel compelled to set the record straight,” Tyson said in the statement. “Tyson Foods is strongly opposed to illegal immigration, and we led the way in participating in the two major government programs to help employers combat unlawful employment, E-Verify and the Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers (IMAGE) program.” (Read more)

- Father, this sounds like a bit of run-around regarding facts and details. We ask that You would cause Tyson to repent from every area of deception or wrong-doing and that they would stand up for Godly principles, in Jesus name.  There are countless people on the streets who might accept a hand-up with employment and sobriety, so we pray that perhaps this might be a winning opportunity for Tyson and American citizens.  May all unrighteous actions be exposed and removed, in Jesus name so that the company would be faithful to the laws of our land, in Jesus name.

- "I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected."  (Habakkuk 2:1)

5. Barack Obama Calls at Downing Street for Mystery Meeting - Breitbart

Former U.S. President Barack Obama called in at the British Prime Minister’s official residence on Monday, but the office is keeping tight-lipped about the purpose of the one-hour meeting.

Barack Obama surprised when he turned up at Rishi Sunak’s front door on Monday, going inside the historic Downing Street residence for an hour and meeting with the Prime Minister. Former President Obama walked up to the famous black door alone but later emerged alongside the U.S. Ambassador to London Jane Hartley.

While Obama and Sunak clearly had enough to be talking about, the reason for the visit and what was discussed was not immediately disclosed, the mystery talk being described by an official to British government-adjacent newspaper The Daily Telegraph as “informal” and private. The Times notes shortly before Obama entered Downing Street, the British finance minister also arrived at the Prime Minister’s official office and residence by the front door. That arrival may be seen as a pointed statement given it is thought to be possible to get to the Prime Minister’s office from the Chancellor’s through internal passageways without going onto the street to be seen by the press. (Read more)

- We pray that Barak Obama has no power to bring more life-altering strategies to this earth, in Jesus name.  We pray that world leaders would come under Your authority, Almighty God, and that the schemes of man would fail and redemption would arise, particularly in this important holy season.  We commit each one of these people into Your hands Abba, and ask You to have Your way with them, in Jesus name.

- "For behold, the Lord is coming out of His place; He will come down And tread on the high places of the earth.  The mountains will melt under Him, And the valleys will split LIke wax before the fire, Like waters poured down a steep place."                (Micah 1:3-4)

6. America First Legal Exposes Federal Government Pushing for Aggressive Censorship of Independent Voices - Breitbart

Internal documents obtained by America First Legal from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) have revealed a disturbing initiative to promote widespread censorship practices across various sectors, aimed at suppressing independent perspectives and alternative narratives. Among the tactics included in the report, the agency advocates for “Advertiser Outreach” to cut “financial report” for those who don’t toe the government’s line.

The Foundation For Freedom Online reports that a recently uncovered “Disinformation Primer” authored by USAID’s Center on Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG) has exposed the agency’s overt endorsement of private sector censorship strategies and proposed additional censorship practices and techniques. The 97-page document, obtained through litigation against the U.S. Department of State by the public interest law firm America First Legal (AFL), lays bare USAID’s concerted efforts to influence technology companies, media organizations, education ministries, national governments, and funding bodies to adopt censorship measures. (Read more)

- Jesus, we all who have been censored, shadow-banned or hindered from free expression or access to alternative viewpoints are ready and waiting to see You move mightily and miraculously to stop those who are determined to take control of the voice of the people. We will continue to speak out, cry out and most of all come boldly before Your throne and make our requests known to You, so that You would answer us in this time of need. Bring these censoring agencies to their knees Father, cause them to collapse upon their own corruption, in Jesus name and may all of their employees be disciplined unto repentance, for Your glory.  Amen.

- "Hear attentively the thunder of his voice, And the rumbling that comes from His mouth. He sends it forth under the whole heaven, His lightning to the ends of the earth."  (Job 37:2-3)

7. 'This lady is dangerous': Supreme justice says 1st Amendment 'hamstrings' govt. - WND

The arguments before the Supreme Court this week over a case challenging the Biden administration's collusion with tech companies to censor the ideas and messages that he doesn't like has revealed one justice holding a stunning perspective.

She's worried that the First Amendment, which was written to hamstring the government from censoring ideas, messages and speech, hamstrings the government's agenda to censor ideas, messages and speech.

"My biggest concern is that your view has the First Amendment hamstringing the federal government in significant ways in the most important time periods," Ketanji Jackson, a Joe Biden appointee, told lawyers representing plaintiffs who sued over the censorship scheme that involved the Biden administration working with tech companies to silence some information.

She continued, "And so I guess some might say that the government actually has a duty to take steps to protect the citizens of this country, and you seem to be suggesting that that duty cannot manifest itself in the government encouraging or even pressuring platforms to take down harmful information." (Read more)

- Father, we pray for this justice to understand that government has been created to protect the rights and freedoms of the citizens and not to decide what we can or cannot hear, say or know.   May she also recognize that the rights and liberties of the people are God-given whereas the authority of the government is man-given. We pray for a further "ham-stringing" of the government, along with "big tech" to decide what is acceptable speech by the citizens of this nation. We pray for the victory of this case in the Supreme Court because we must retain the integrity of our Bill of Rights, in Jesus name. We praise You for creating such a brilliant document to govern this great nation.

- "For the Lord is our Judge, The Lord is our Lawgiver, The Lord is our King; He will save us–"  (Isaiah 33:22)
8. Supreme Court lets Texas detain and jail migrants under SB4 immigration law as legal battle continues - CBS News

The Supreme Court on Tuesday gave Texas officials permission to jail and prosecute migrants suspected of crossing the U.S. southern border without authorization, greenlighting the enforcement of a state immigration law known as SB4 that the Biden administration has called unconstitutional.

Denying a request from the Justice Department, the high court allowed the controversial Texas law, one of Gov. Greg Abbott's signature immigration policies, to take effect while the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit considers the measure's legality.

Passed by the Texas legislature last year, SB4 criminalizes unauthorized migration at the state level, making the act of entering the U.S. outside of a port of entry — already a federal offense — into a state crime. It also creates a state felony charge for illegal reentry. (Read more)

- Father, we pray for the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals to be led completely by Your guidance.  We ask that You grant favor to the Texas attorneys who are standing against the Biden administration.  May there be justice for the laws of the state of Texas, in Jesus name.

- "Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fertile field, And the fertile field is considered as a forest.  Then justice will dwell in the wilderness And righteousness will abide in the fertile field."  (Isaiah 32:15-16)

Biden's Marxist Plan To Enslave You

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, March 19, 2024

Joe Biden says he is going to increase taxes on corporations and billionaires in order to cut the federal deficit by three trillion dollars. He promised in his campaign reelection speech disguised as a State of the Union address that nobody making under $400,000 will pay a cent more in taxes. Since the speech, however, his cabinet members have been selling increased government spending and redistribution of wealth—total socialism. This is a shell game being well-played by Biden and his gang. Tell Americans there will be only tax increases on corporations and the wealthy. Tell Americans there will be “investments” by the government, meaning increases in government spending at taxpayer expense.

Biden said in his speech,” I signed a bipartisan deal to cut another trillion dollars in the next decade. It’s my goal to cut the federal deficit another $3 trillion by making big corporations and the very wealthy finally beginning to pay their fair share. Look, I’m a capitalist. If you want to make or can make a million or millions of bucks, that’s great. Just pay your fair share in taxes. A fair tax code is how we invest in things that make this country great: healthcare, education, defense, and so much more… It’s time to raise the corporate minimum tax to at least 21 percent–so every big corporation finally begins to pay their fair share.” But Biden’s White House Council of Economic Advisers member Heather Boushey is saying all those new taxes will go to government spending increases and she is outlining a blatant Marxist plan to do it. Iceland volcano erupts, prompting evacuation
of Blue Lagoon

(CNN) — Iceland’s world-famous Blue Lagoon and the nearby town of Grindavik were evacuated on Saturday following a volcanic eruption in the country’s Reykjanes Peninsula, Iceland’s public broadcaster RÚV reported.

Lava appeared to be flowing rapidly towards north of the town Grindavík, just as it did during the eruption on February 8, RÚV said citing the Icelandic Met Office. RUV later reported that lava was also flowing toward the Grindavíkurvegur road – the main road leading to Grindavik.

“The fissure is about three kilometers long [about 1.9 miles], and runs from Stóra-Skógfell towards Hagafell,” it said.

Iceland’s main international airport, Keflavik Airport, and other regional airports remain fully operational, RUV added. However, volcanic gas is expected to be detectable in the town near the airport on Sunday, RUV reported.

The current eruption is the most powerful in the recent sequence of seismic activity, geophysicist Magnús Tumi Guðmundsson told RUV after returning from a helicopter flight over the site.

Guðmundsson said the fissure, which is very active now, extends from the northern side of Hagafell and north to Stóra-Skógfell. He estimated it was about 3.5 kilometers wide.

“Based on the speed of the lava flow,” Guðmundsson estimated that “it will not be long before it flows over Grindavíkurvegur road.” Read More

Author Mitch Albom Details Harrowing Experience Escaping Haiti in Dark of Night
Bestselling author Mitch Albom, known for blockbuster books like “Tuesdays with Morrie,” “The Five People You Meet in Heaven,” and “The Stranger in the Lifeboat,” was among those forced to flee from Haiti in the dead of night after the nation descended into sheer chaos. Albom was visiting Have Faith Haiti, an orphanage run by him and his wife, Janine, when Haiti’s government collapsed. Suddenly, the author and his wife were among the Americans trapped with no way out. With violence flaring, Albom, Janine, and eight others were granted an emergency airlift Tuesday out of the beleaguered country — an exit independently coordinated by Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) after U.S. government sources failed to help Albom, and the politician acted alone. Recounting the details in an interview with CBN News, Albom said he and the group were forced to flee in a helicopter in the dead of night. “It was pretty clear that, if we were going to find a way out, we were going to have to do it independently,” he said, after explaining outreach to the U.S. government didn’t go anywhere. “We began to explore those options.”

Albom, who cares for 60 children and has 40 staff at the orphanage, is in touch with the orphans and staff all day via FaceTime and other technologies. He said the chaos unfolding in Haiti can still be heard during those calls. “When we do our nightly devotions, you can hear all the gunfire in the background,” he said. “It’s such a juxtaposition. It doesn’t make sense. You know, they’re singing these beautiful songs to God about being grateful for what they have … but, out in the street, [there is] rapid fire machine gun kind of fire.” Albom continued, “It’s a shame that they have to live with this.” While the author’s fame and accolades are mostly tied to his books, Albom’s real passion is his work helping orphans in Haiti. “[The orphanage] takes up the bulk of my existence,” Albom said in a past interview. “I know most people know me as a writer, but my average week is consumed a lot more with operating the orphanage and I’m there every month, and it’s the most important thing and most gratifying thing that I do.” (Faith Wire) Watch Interview Here.

- Father, we are grateful for believers who have dedicated their lives to serve the citizens of Haiti. We PRAISE You for the amazing testimony by Mitch Albom, sharing his rescue, including his wife and the Americans who were stranded with them. We ask for Yeshua's blood covering over the children and staff of "Have Faith Haiti" and ask Your protection upon every stranded American that remains. Pour special blessings over Cory Mills and Lisa McClain who took quick action saving Americans working at the orphanage. We pray for this administration to act swiftly in rescuing every American left behind! Come, Lord Jesus, and reveal Your miracles in Haiti. In Yeshua's powerful and mighty Name-Amen.

For I’m coming in the morning;
So you’ll not have long to wait.

Refrain

Keep your lamps all trimmed and burning;
For the Bridegroom watch and wait.
He’ll be with us at the meeting
Just inside the Eastern Gate.

Refrain

O the joys of that glad meeting
With the saints who for us wait!
What a blessèd, happy meeting
Just inside the Eastern Gate!
