Awesome God’: Worship and Praise Breaks Out at Mar-a-Lago!
Praise and worship filled the rooms of Mar-a-Lago over the weekend. From videos circulating on social media, Christian praise broke out at Mar-a-Lago this past weekend with Let Us Worship leader, Sean Feucht, leading people in worship with Rich Mullins’ song, “Awesome God,” and Chris Tomlin’s 'Holy Forever.' “We had church at Mar-a-Lago,” Feucht wrote on X.

In attendance at this event was Pastor Greg Locke, who shared a photo on Facebook of him and his wife, Tai, on the way to Mar-a-Lago. “On the Mar-a-Lago security bus. Excited and honored to be speaking at an event here this morning,” he wrote. This is not the first time that the president’s Florida home became the center for worship. Prior to Trump’s inauguration, people gathered together at Mar-a-Lago to sing “The Blessing.” Trump’s election victory party also included praise with supporters singing, “How Great Thou Art.” (Charisma News)  Read More Here and Watch Video

- Abba, we rejoice in believers worshipping and praising Your Name at Mar-a-Lago! Bless President Trump and Melania for inviting and encouraging worship on the grounds. Pour Your favor upon the artists who lead the songs giving honor to Your Name. We pray this gathering was a sweet-fragrant offering to You, our glorious Father in heaven, for Your constant faithfulness, love and mercy towards our nation and Israel. We invite and celebrate the presence of Your GLORY throughout America, as believers lift worship in unity across our nation! In Jesus powerful Name we pray, Amen.

- "But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him."            (John 4:23)

Trump grants EU tariff extension after 'good call' with Ursula von der Leyen
President Donald Trump has agreed to a request for an extension on a proposed 50% tariff on imports from the European Union, which he initially threatened would go into effect on June 1. In a Truth Social post on Sunday, Trump said he received a call from European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen requesting an extension on the June 1 tariff hike.

"I agreed to the extension — July 9, 2025 — It was my privilege to do so," Trump wrote. "The Commission President said that talks will begin rapidly. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

While speaking to reporters on Sunday at Morristown Municipal Airport in New Jersey, Trump said von der Leyen called him and said she wants to have a "serious negotiation."
"July 9th was the date she requested. … And I agreed to do that," Trump said. "[von der Leyen] said we will rapidly get together and see if we can work something out."

Von der Leyen also took to X to say she had a "good call" with Trump and that Europe is "ready to advance talks swiftly and decisively." (Fox News) Read more here.
- Father, we thank You that the EU has made a first step toward negotiations. We pray that You would guide President Trump, protect him, and grant him Your heavenly wisdom in all that he does.

- “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” (James 1:5)

Speaker Johnson: There Are ‘More Than 1.4 Million Illegal Aliens on Medicaid’

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that there were “more than 1.4 million illegal aliens on Medicaid.”

Johnson said, “We are not cutting Medicaid in this package. There‘s a lot of misinformation out there about this.”

He continued, “The numbers of Americans who are affected are those that are entwined in our work to eliminate fraud, waste and abuse. And what do I mean by that? You got more than 1.4 million illegal aliens on Medicaid. Medicaid is not intended for non-U.S. citizens. It‘s intended for the most vulnerable populations of Americans, which is pregnant women and young single mothers, the disabled, the elderly. They are protected in what we‘re doing because we‘re preserving the resources for those who need it most.”

Johnson added, “You‘re talking about 4.8 million able-bodied workers, young men, for example, who are on Medicaid and not working. They are choosing not to work when they can. That is called fraud. They are cheating the system. When you root out those kinds of abuses, you save the resources that are so desperately needed by the people who deserve it and need it most. That‘s what we‘re doing.” (Breitbart) Read more

- Lord, we pray that all waste, fraud, and abuse be removed from the Medicaid program. Primarily, we ask that Your healing touch would rest upon those who are in need, and bring about repentance and new life.

- “But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)

‘Made In America’: Trump Says U.S. Steel Will Remain In Pittsburgh, Partner With Japanese Company

President Donald Trump said on Friday that U.S. Steel will partner with the Japanese company Nippon Steel, and remain headquartered in Pittsburgh.

The partnership comes after Trump ordered a review of the possible sale of U.S. Steel to Nippon Steel in April. Former President Joe Biden blocked the $14.9 billion sale of U.S. Steel to Nippon Steel, citing national security concerns and risks to U.S. supply chains. Now, the two companies will form a “planned partnership” that will result in 70,000 jobs, according to the president.

“I am proud to announce that, after much consideration and negotiation, U.S. Steel will REMAIN in America, and keep its Headquarters in the Great City of Pittsburgh,” Trump said. “For many years, the name, ‘United States Steel’ was synonymous with Greatness, and now, it will be again. This will be a planned partnership between United States Steel and Nippon Steel, which will create at least 70,000 jobs, and add $14 Billion Dollars to the U.S. Economy.”

U.S. Steel is facing major losses, reporting a net loss of $116 million in the first quarter of 2025, but the steel industry remains an important part of the economy in America, employing over 44,000 people. (The Daily Wire) Read more here.

- Lord, as these types of partnerships come to the forefront of Donald Trump’s plans, we ask Your favor and blessing for all the workers involved. Thank You for the ideas of our President, and ask that no problems or international conflicts occur in their implementation or during the upcoming years. May this partnership be a good one with benefits and jobs for our American workers.

- “Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!” (Psalm 90:17)

Iran says it’s ready to compromise with Trump, suggests US understands its red lines
Iran is open to compromises on its nuclear program in talks with the United States, but uranium enrichment remains non-negotiable, Tehran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson told CNN, indicating Washington understands this position. “If the intention is to make sure that Iran’s nuclear program would not be weaponized, I think that’s something that we could simply do,” Esmail Baghaei, the spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign ministry, said in Tehran on Monday.

Asked by CNN how a compromise can be reached in talks, Baghaei said, “So many ways” without specifying. However, he added that Iran’s right to nuclear energy would have to be protected, echoing the long-standing Iranian position on talks.

“If the (US’) intention is to deprive Iranians of their right to peaceful nuclear energy, I think that would be very problematic to the extent that I think it would really challenge the whole process,” he added.

After US-Iran talks inched forward with the fifth round of negotiations in Rome on Friday, President Donald Trump voiced optimism Sunday that progress was being made. “We had some very good talks with Iran yesterday and today, and let’s see what happens. But I think we could have some good news on the Iran front,” Trump told reporters in New Jersey as he was preparing to return to Washington. (CNN) Read more here
- Father God, on this quiet holiday weekend, we are encouraged to learn of the results of the fifth round of talks between the United States and Iran regarding Iran's nuclear program. We ask for continued wisdom for President Trump and his advisors, and continued discernment as they inch towards an agreement on this critical matter. In Your name, Holy One, we ask this prayer, amen and amen.

- "In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."                     (I Thessalonians 5:18)

1. Netanyahu: 'Hope we can announce something on hostages today or tomorrow'
- Israel National News

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggested that a significant announcement about the remaining 58 hostages in Gaza could be made tomorrow or even today.

"The release of our hostages is our top priority. I hope we can announce something about this today - and if not today, then tomorrow. We are not giving up," Netanyahu stated.

He added, "There is a very strong IDF operation in the Gaza Strip and we have to deal with baseless accusations in the international community." (Read more)

2. Hamas agrees to Gaza ceasefire deal proposal attributed to Witkoff, official says
- Jerusalem Post

Hamas has agreed to a Gaza ceasefire proposal it attributed to US special envoy Steve Witkoff for a Gaza ceasefire, a Palestinian official close to the group told Reuters on Monday.

The new proposal, which sees the release of 10 hostages and 70 days of truce, was reportedly received by Hamas through mediators.

“The proposal includes the release of 10 living Israeli hostages held by Hamas in two groups in return for a 70-day ceasefire and a partial withdrawal from the Gaza Strip,” the source said.

The proposal also sees the release of Palestinian prisoners by Israel, including hundreds of those serving lengthy prison terms. The framework agreed upon by Hamas appeared to be distinct from Witkoff’s proposal that Israel had previously approved. (Read more)

3. Report: Israel rejects Hamas proposal for 70-day ceasefire - World Israel News

A senior Israeli official on Monday denied reports that Israel has accepted in principle an offer put forward by Hamas for a 70-day ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, multiple media outlets have reported.

The Lebanese Al-Mayadeen television channel, which is affiliated with the Hezbollah terror group, claimed that Israel has agreed to conduct negotiations on the basis of a proposal floated by Hamas according to which 10 hostages would be returned to Israel during a 70-day ceasefire in exchange for the release of jailed Arab terrorists.

According to the report, five of the 10 hostages would be among the remaining 20 who are alive, while the remains of five dead hostages would also be returned.

In addition to freeing jailed Arab terrorists, the Hamas plan would also require Israel to retreat from much of the Gaza Strip, ceding all positions taken by the IDF since the resumption of hostilities in mid-March. (Read more)

4. IDF aims to capture 75% of Gaza Strip in 2 months in new offensive against Hamas - Times of Israel

The Israel Defense Forces said Sunday that it aims to occupy 75 percent of the Gaza Strip’s territory within two months as part of its new offensive against the Hamas terror group.

Israel on March 18 resumed its attacks against Hamas with a surprise wave of airstrikes, ending a two-month ceasefire. The IDF has since deployed five divisions to the Strip — amounting to tens of thousands of troops — and is poised to launch a wide-scale ground offensive aimed at defeating Hamas’s military wing and its civil rule in Gaza, should the terror group not agree to release the hostages it is holding.

When the major ground offensive is launched, the Palestinian population will be pushed into three small zones in Gaza: a new “safer zone” in the Mawasi area on the southern Strip’s coast, where Israel previously declared a “humanitarian zone”; a strip of land in central Gaza’s Deir al-Balah and Nuseirat, where the IDF has not operated with ground forces; and the center of Gaza City, to which many Palestinians returned during the ceasefire earlier this year. 5. German chancellor: Israel’s actions ‘no longer justified’ - JNS

Chancellor Friedrich Merz on Monday criticized Israel’s actions in Gaza, using the harshest public statements to date by a German senior official about the campaign to dismantle Hamas.

Merz, a leader of the center-right Christian Democratic Union who became chancellor on May 6, said he “no longer understands” Israel’s goals in the Strip, speaking during the WDR Europaforum conference in Berlin.

Israel’s actions cannot be “justified,” he said.

“The Israeli government must not do anything that even its best friends are no longer willing to accept,” said Merz. “What the Israeli army is now doing in the Gaza Strip, I frankly no longer understand with what goal. (Read more

1. Trump administration drops sanctions on Syria - JNS News.org

The U.S. Treasury Department announced on Friday that it has dropped virtually all sanctions against Syria.

The department’s issuing of a general license for transactions previously prohibited under the Syrian Sanctions Regulations and a waiver of the sanctions imposed under the Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act amounts to “effectively lifting sanctions on Syria,” per the department.

“As President Trump promised, the Treasury Department and the State Department are implementing authorizations to encourage new investment into Syria,” Scott Bessent, the U.S. treasury secretary, stated.

“Syria must also continue to work towards becoming a stable country that is at peace, and today’s actions will hopefully put the country on a path to a bright, prosperous and stable future,” he said.

Marco Rubio, the U.S. secretary of state, stated that he issued a 180-day waiver of sanctions to ensure that they “do not impede the ability of our partners to make stability-driving investments, and advance Syria’s recovery and reconstruction efforts.” (Read more)

- Lord, we do pray that, as these sanctions have been lifted from Syria, they would strive to be a stable country who is at peace.

2. North Korea detains officials over warship accident, state media says - Reuters

SEOUL, May 25 (Reuters) - North Korea has detained shipyard officials responsible for a recent major accident during the launch of a new warship, state media said on Sunday. The failed launch that crippled the 5,000-tonne warship was witnessed by leader Kim Jong Un who said the accident damaged the country's dignity and vowed to punish those found responsible.

The mishap likely occurred in front of a large crowd at the northeastern port of Chongjin, increasing the public humiliation for Kim who tried to show off military might, experts say.

- Lord, we pray that North Korea would be detained from launching any new warships and
will be prevented from gaining strength militarily.

3. Russia hits Ukraine with massive drone, missile barrage amid prisoner exchange - ABC News

Russian drones and missiles again bombarded cities across Ukraine on Saturday night into Sunday morning despite the completion of the largest prisoner exchange of the 3-year-old war.

The Armed Forces Operational Command in Poland -- a NATO nation that borders Ukraine to the west -- said in a Sunday morning post to X that its fighter jets were scrambled during the Russian attack. "Intensive activity of long-range aviation of the Russian Federation has been observed, associated with strikes carried out on objects located, among others, in the western territory of Ukraine," the statement said.

Ukraine's air force said in a post to Telegram that Russia launched a total of 367 "air attack vehicles" -- among them nine Iskander ballistic missiles, 56 cruise missiles, four guided air missiles and 298 attack drones -- at targets across the country.
The air force said 45 cruise missiles and 266 drones were shot down or otherwise neutralized during the attack.

"Most regions of Ukraine were affected by the enemy attack," the air force wrote, with strikes reported in 22 locations and downed cruise missiles or strike drones reported in 15 locations. Ukraine's Interior Ministry said in a statement that at least 18 people were killed -- among them three children from the same family -- and 85 people injured. More than 80 residential buildings were damaged and 27 fires recorded, it added. (Read more)

MOSCOW/CHERNIHIV, Ukraine, May 24 (Reuters) - Russia and Ukraine each exchanged 307 of their service personnel on Saturday on the second day of an extended prisoner swap set to be the largest in the three-year war.

U.S. President Donald Trump has suggested the swap could herald a new phase in stop-start efforts to negotiate a peace deal between Moscow and Kyiv. There should be 1,000 prisoners released on each side over three days.

Saturday's swap was announced by Russia's defence ministry, and separately by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in a post on social media platform Telegram.  (Read more)

5. Jet carrying David Shapiro and 5 others faced fog and no runway lights at San Diego airport - AP News

SAN DIEGO (AP) — The runway lights were out, a weather alert system wasn’t working and there was heavy fog at a San Diego airport when a pilot who had flown across the country made the decision to proceed with landing but came up short and crashed into a neighborhood, likely killing all six aboard the aircraft, investigators said Friday.

Investigator Dan Baker of the National Transportation Safety Board said officials will work over the next year to determine what caused the Cessna 550 Citation to crash just before 4 a.m. Thursday. The jet was carrying a music executive and five others. No one in the neighborhood of U.S. Navy housing died, but eight people were treated for smoke inhalation from the fiery crash and non-life-threatening injuries.

The pilot acknowledged the weather conditions for landing at the small airport were not ideal and debated diverting to a different airport while discussing the visibility with an air traffic controller at a regional Federal Aviation Administration control tower, according to audio of the conversation posted by LiveATC.net. 6. U.S. citizen arrested and accused of planning to bomb U.S. Embassy office in Israel - NBC News

A man was arrested at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York on Sunday following an alleged attempt to firebomb a branch office of the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv, the Justice Department said in a statement.

The man, named Joseph Neumeyer, is a dual American and German citizen and was detained in Israel on May 19 after a hostile confrontation in which Neumeyer spit on a security guard in front of the office earlier that day, according to the Justice Department.

The guard tried and failed to detain Neumeyer, who ditched the backpack he was carrying to break free, the statement said.

A search of the backpack he left behind at the embassy after the confrontation “revealed three rudimentary improvised incendiary devices commonly known as Molotov cocktails,” the statement added. Officials were able to track Neumeyer to his hotel, where he was arrested.

The Justice Department also said that Neumeyer, 28, posted the following on social media: “Join me as I burn down the embassy in Tel Aviv. Death to America, death to Americans, and --- the west.” (Read more)

- Lord we thank You that this man was arrested before he could commit any acts of terror.

The Final Jubilee--God's Freedom Call

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, May 26, 2025

God is a God of freedom. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture paints the consistent picture of a loving Father who desires His people to be free—not just politically or socially, but spiritually. That’s why it’s critical to understand the Year of Jubilee (Yovel) not just as an ancient Hebrew custom, but as a prophetic preview of what’s to come when Christ returns. The Jubilee—outlined in Leviticus 25—occurred every 50th year after seven sabbatical cycles. It wasn’t just a reset; it was a divine reset. Land was returned to its original families. Debts were canceled. Those who had sold themselves into servitude due to poverty or debt were set free. This happened on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, in the year that falls in Yovel.

With the sounding of a shofar—a ram’s horn—liberty was proclaimed throughout the land. Imagine that: an entire nation hearing one sound and knowing freedom had arrived. This wasn’t slavery as we know it today—forced, abusive, and lifelong. What existed in Israel was a form of indentured servitude, often voluntary and redemptive. It had an expiration date. It came with legal protections, dignity, and the hope of restoration. Every seven years, and certainly every fifty, that person went home, debt-free, to start again. God never intended for His people to live under endless bondage. This wasn’t just economic or social policy. It was spiritual symbolism. The Jubilee pointed forward to Messiah. The Jewish sages said the final shofar would announce the arrival of Mashiach, the Liberator.

Trump honors fallen American heroes, praises God in Memorial Day address:
'Great, great warriors'

President Donald Trump honored fallen American heroes and praised God during a Memorial Day address at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia on Monday, vowing to "fix" the republic founded nearly 250 years ago.

"We gathered today to honor the incredible service members who rest in glory in this cemetery and burial grounds around the world, and in a thousand lonely places known only to God in every hour of peril and every moment of crisis," Trump said. "American warriors have left behind the blessings of home and family to answer their nation's call. They've offered all that they had within them and given their last breaths to each and every one of us, that we might live safe and breathe free.

"This morning we pay tribute to their immortal deeds. We share in the sorrow of their beloved families, and as one nation, we give thanks for the ultimate gift they have so selflessly given to all of us, these warriors. And that's what they are as great, great warriors picked up their mantle of duty and service, knowing that to live for others meant always that they might die for others."

The president said Memorial Day 2025 "is especially significant as we commemorate 250 years since the first American Patriots fell on the field of battle two and a half centuries ago."

"At Lexington Green, Concord Bridge, Bunker Hill, brave minutemen and humble farm boys became the first to give their lives for a nation that did not yet have a name," Trump said. "Those young men could never have known what their sacrifice would mean to us, but we certainly know what we owe to them. Their valor gave us the freest, greatest and most noble republic ever to exist on the face of the earth."

Trump recognized the surviving family members in attendance of several fallen soldiers who he mentioned by name, including veterans who died in the line of duty in Vietnam, Iraq and Syria.

"In any corner of this cemetery, at any resting place for our war dead, anywhere on Earth, you'll find untold stories of equal heroism, heroism and heartbreak, unmatched patriotism and devotion, and acts of selflessness and courage so enormous they defy comprehension," Trump said. "We salute them in their eternal and everlasting glory. And we continue our relentless pursuit of America's destiny as we make our nation stronger, prouder, freer and greater than ever before.

"May God bless our fallen heroes. May God bless our Gold Star families, and may God bless the United States of America." (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord God, we are so thrilled that You have given us a man to serve as our President who is a true patriot: Donald John Trump. We thank You for his inspiring words, helping all of us to praise You that we are, indeed, the land of the free and the home of the brave. As we rally around this president, our hearts are truly strengthened that we can Make America Great Again. In Your Holy Name, we offer this prayer, amen and amen!

- "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord!"

Hawaii's Kilauea Volcano erupts with
1,000-foot 'lava fountaining'

Kīlauea Volcano – located along the southeastern shore of Hawaii Island – experienced "lava fountaining" that reached at least 1,000 feet high over the weekend.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) describes Kīlauea as one of the world's most active volcanoes. It has been erupting intermittently since Dec. 23, 2024, within the summit caldera in Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park.

The 23rd episode of precursory activity began late last week with "low-level spattering and flames." According to Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, small lava fountains and lava overflows from the north vent started around 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

"Sustained fountaining expected any time through the weekend," Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park Service wrote. The USGS reports that Kīlauea "is in a unique phase of activity in Halemaʻumaʻu, with numerous episodes of dual lava fountains since the eruption began."

USGS livestreams of the eruption site showed the lava fountains dropping in height and later stopping. The vents were still glowing and lava was still visibile on the crater floor.

The volcano's last "fountaining phase" extended for about 10 hours on May 16, according to the USGS. Kīlauea experienced other recent fountaining phases this month on May 11, May 6 and May 2, lasting eight hours, 4.5 hours and eight hours, respectively. (Fox News) Read more here.
