President Trump Honors Down Syndrome Awareness Month
|

President Donald Trump issued a presidential message this month celebrating people with Down syndrome and the families who support them, calling every child “a gift from God.”
“This Down Syndrome Awareness Month, I join millions of Americans in celebrating the lives, accomplishments, and contributions of people with Down syndrome and honor the families and communities who stand beside them each and every day,” Trump said in the message released by the White House.
He noted that the condition results from an extra chromosome and can create developmental challenges, but said scientific advances have improved quality of life. “Americans with Down syndrome enrich every life they touch, meeting the world with a sincerity and joy that make our classrooms brighter and our communities stronger,” he said. We celebrate the month of October as "Down Syndrome Awareness Month" and also praise our Administration for displaying genuine love and dignity for each LIFE. We ask for continual protection over babies in the womb; May we be known as a nation which truly honors and cherishes down-syndrome children. ‘We Love Him Because He Loves Us’: Crowds Pack Trump Rally in Michigan

A capacity crowd came out in support of President Donald Trump in Port Huron, Michigan, known as the “Maritime Capital of the Great Lakes,” on Sunday. Rally attendees were in line at daybreak to see the president, who made the appearance following former President Barack Hussein Obama’s appearance in Detroit a day earlier.
One attendee explained why she stood in line to wait with thousands of others. “We love him because he loves us. He has given up his life to come and save us from the evil people who have come to take over our country, and we love him for that,” the attendee said.
Obama came to boost Abdul El-Sayed, the Muslim Socialist with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, while Trump’s appearance aims to push Republican Mike Rogers across the finish line in one of the most closely watched campaigns of the cycle.
Breitbart News’s Nick Gilbertson shared a video from the rally showing the massive turnout in Port Huron, just miles from the Canadian border.

President Donald Trump’s relentless campaign schedule in the home stretch before the midterm elections is something the White House says gives Republicans their best shot at emerging victorious next week.
Trump is and has been hosting rallies in battleground states and districts from coast to coast—Alaska one day, Texas another, North Carolina or Florida on the next, and everywhere in between—aimed at firing up the GOP base and driving up Trump voter turnout. Listening to any Republican strategist or candidate ahead of the elections next Tuesday, therein lies the issue for the GOP ahead of November 3: Republicans have to turn out their voters to have a chance. Enthusiasm is high on the Democrat side, for sure, given the national environment, and in any normal midterm election the party out of power like the Democrats this cycle would be expected to take sweeping majorities in both chambers of Congress. But the races are tightening everywhere, especially in U.S. Senate battlegrounds, and late August through September polling surges for Democrats in many of them are falling and races are reverting to the mean—meaning Republicans have a decent shot at hanging on to many seats that looked like they may have been lost just a couple weeks ago.

Abba, You know the beginning from the end and how this midterm election is going to turn out. We ask You to search our hearts and help us to see how we respond to all the political hype, the lies, the truth, and everything in between, give each of us the grace to trust and to keep our eyes on You, responding to circumstances and people as You would. Father God, the church has a saying,, "what would Jesus do?" and it is very appropriate now, to remind us to keep our thoughts and hearts positioned to be Your hands and feet to those we agree with and those we don't. We ask Holy Spirit to move across our country, pour out love and forgiveness in abundance during these elections. It seems that extremely high emotions are creating reasons to NOT "love our neighbor as ourselves". Jesus, we ask You to speak to Your kids, remind us of Your faithfulness, remind us that You have told us if we need wisdom to ASK You and You will give it to us. ‘They’re Using Faulty Analysis’: Speaker Johnson Insists Polls Are ‘Wrong’

During an appearance on FNC’s “Fox News Sunday,” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) doubled down on an earlier claim that polls showing Democrats with an edge in next week’s midterm elections were wrong.
Johnson said those surveys used “faulty analysis.”
“OK, so let’s talk through a couple of our new Fox News power rankings,” host Shannon Bream said. “When it comes to the House, 219 seats solidly Democrat, 198 Republican. That puts 18 as toss-ups. Also in our power rankings, this is a forecast for election night. If things go really well for Democrats, they end up with 237 seats. A good GOP night, our forecasters have, has 219 for Democrats. Meaning you’d still be in the minority in either scenario. You say those predictions are wrong. Why?”
Johnson replied, “Those polls are wrong. They’re based on faulty analysis. Look, in the last week, Shannon, you’ve had two polling organizations nationwide be exposed for completely fraudulent numbers and the more traditional researchers and poll organizations are acknowledging that they’ve been under-sampling Republicans. In fact, CNN ran a story less than a week ago, and they said that 14 out of the last 16 October polls in those elections, they under-sampled Republicans by an average of four points. Republicans are no longer responding to polls. Look, I’m going all around the country, Shannon. I’ve been in 21 states, 39 districts, just in the last three weeks. I’m going to the swing districts, the places where we’re going to flip blue seats to red, and we’re having hundreds of people turn out for these events. Father God, would You please intervene in what is being told to our citizens, bring into the light every single group who has been "cooking the results" of their polls to favor the Democrats over the Republicans. We ask that those responsible will be prosecuted for all their inaccuracies and underhanded results and we ask You to ensure that justice is done. Poll: Jewish Voters Favor Republicans over Democrats by Nearly Two to One
|

Republicans lead Democrats by 31 points among Jewish voters on the congressional ballot, according to a McLaughlin & Associates poll that points to a potential shift among a group that has long favored Democrats.
The poll found that 64 percent of Jewish voters backed Republicans for Congress, while 33 percent supported Democrats, pollsters John and Jim McLaughlin wrote in an article published by the firm Monday.
The result would mark a major shift from the large margins by which Jewish voters have traditionally favored Democrats, though pollsters John and Jim McLaughlin warned that the sample of Jewish voters was small.
McLaughlin surveyed 1,000 likely midterm voters nationwide. Jewish voters represented four percent of the poll’s sample. The firm did not disclose the exact number of Jewish respondents or a margin of error for that group. (Breitbart) Read more here.

DOJ To Disperse Thousands Of Election Monitors In Largest-Ever Effort. Democrats Plan To Respond With 10,000-Volunteer Army

As midterms loom the Department of Justice is ramping up enforcement across the country in an effort to preserve election integrity — but Democrats are responding by mobilizing a volunteer army of their own to send to the polls.
State Democratic parties and coalition groups are training and sending forth an estimated 10,000 volunteers to observe polling places and report anything potentially concerning they might see from federal agents in response to the DOJ’s exercising its authority to send election monitors across the states, the Associated Press reported.
“We will be in all 50 states doing the routine election monitoring the department has done for decades,” a spokesperson from the DOJ told the DCNF in a statement.
The DOJ will deploy around 1,000 monitors in counties throughout the United States but will not share the full list until closer to Election Day, the department shared with the DCNF.
“Every monitor will merely observe and report any potential violations of federal law to the Department, which will be reviewed after Election Day,” the DOJ spokesperson told the DCNF. “All monitors must meet the same legal and ethical requirements, including that they not interfere with the voting process. Every monitor has the same role: observe for potential violations of federal law and report concerns to the Department, which the Department will review after Election Day and act where appropriate.” (IJR.com)

Abba, because information has been released concerning the 2020 election and the improprieties found in votes cast, there are concerns that it could happen again. Father God, many people will be "watching" at all election locations and we ask for Your favor over all of these monitors. We ask for Your perfect will to be done, for only Your chosen candidates to be elected to office. Holy Spirit, send out Your governmental angels to watch over every ballot cast, including every questionable ballot. Let Your presence fill each location, give the enemy reason to "stay away", let Your angels guard and protect all who work that day, keep all records correct and placed where they should be. Jesus, if there are any machines that have been set to external connections that are not allowed, we ask You to reset them, that no illegal communication will be allowed via the internet. Jesus, we ask You to restore our elections so that everyone will feel safe with the outcomes and that we will begin to rebuild trust in our system. We ask this in the name Yahweh Sabaoth, The Lord Of Hosts, the God who has untold millions of men and angels listening for his command.

2. Israel election exit polls: Netanyahu, Eisenkot deadlocked as both blocs fall short of majority - Jerusalem Post
No clear winner emerged in Israel’s election, according to exit polls published by Channels 11, 12, and 13 on Tuesday night, all of which showed both Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s bloc and the opposition bloc seeking to replace him falling short of a 61-seat Knesset majority.
The opposition bloc, comprising Yashar, B’Yachad, Yisrael Beytenu, and the Democrats, was projected to win 49-51 seats, compared with 51-52 for Netanyahu’s bloc. Channels 13 and 11 exit polls projected that both Netanyahu's bloc and the opposition bloc were tied at 51 seats each, while Channel 12 polls projected Netanyahu's bloc to receive 52 seats. Polling data predicted Likud winning 27 seats, with Yashar projected to win 21-22 seats. Neither side appeared to have a clear path to forming a coalition, though the opposition bloc declared victory shortly after the exit polls were released.
The Joint List and Ra’am were projected to win a record-breaking combined 18-19 seats, potentially making Arab parties pivotal to coalition negotiations. However, opposition leaders have largely ruled out forming a government with the Arab parties, barring the Democrats' Yair Golan. (Read more)

The outcome of the Israeli elections remained uncertain at about 1 a.m. local time on Wednesday, but former Israeli prime ministers Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid celebrated what Bennett called the defeat of the “coalition of draft dodgers” before a cheering crowd of supporters in Tel Aviv.
“People of Israel, hold your heads high,” Bennett told attendees at the headquarters of B’Yachad (“together”), the joint electoral list he leads with Lapid.

Israeli voters have delivered a verdict, but not a decisive one. The gap between opinion polls in recent months and election night exit polls reveals significant shifts that changed the political landscape on Election Day itself, driven by developments in two key strongholds: the Arab sector and traditional Likud cities.
Despite gloomy forecasts, Likud managed to gain ground in the final hours of voting, thanks to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's highly effective campaign focusing on voter turnout in the Arab sector. What began as a campaign message in 2015, helping Netanyahu secure a surprise election victory that year, became a self-fulfilling prophecy in the 2026 election.
Based on the current projections, neither bloc can form a government without the Arab parties. The question now is whether Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Lieberman will abandon his veto on a minority government backed by Arab parties and instead support a government led by the anti-Netanyahu bloc, with an Arab party serving as a key coalition partner and providing the crucial 61st seat needed for a Knesset majority. Central Elections Committee Chairman Justice Noam Sohlberg on Tuesday hosted Israeli President Isaac Herzog at the Committee's control center in the Knesset, in honor of the elections for Israel's 26th Knesset.
During the visit, the two toured the Committee's various departments, and Herzog was briefed on the teams' work and how the elections are managed throughout Israel, including the management of various issues which arise at the voting stations.

1.Polling Industry's Collapse Continues: Total Number of Fake Polls Exposed Reaches 15 - Western Journalism
As Democrats push to gain control of Congress, polls that may have shown them leading various battleground races have been exposed as part of a widespread fraud.
A group called Wedgewood Polling admitted that the numbers it tossed around in Georgia, Michigan, Texas, and other states were fake, according to USA Today, which was among the outlets that said they were fooled.
“The Wedgewood results in some cases were slightly more favorable for Democrats than other polls in the same race,” USA Today noted, citing one poll that had incumbent Georgia Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff ahead of his Republican rival, Rep. Mike Collins, by 10 percentage points. (Read more) |

2. Pentagon Clamps Down on China’s Propaganda Centers Embedded in Universities - The Washington Stand
Chinese cultural centers within U.S. universities known as Confucius Institutes, which became infamous for stealing intellectual property and spreading communist propaganda, are now being designated by the Pentagon as national security threats and are being systematically dismantled, according to a Department of War announcement.
Beijing started Confucius Institutes in 2004 as a way to infiltrate higher education in dozens of countries across the globe. Outwardly presented as centers devoted to teaching college students about Chinese history and traditions, the institutes are “mostly staffed and funded by an agency of the Chinese government’s Ministry of Education — the Office of Chinese Languages Council International, or Hanban,” as noted by the Heritage Foundation.
The centers are therefore dedicated to spreading pro-China propaganda and are strictly forbidden from discussing “sensitive” topics such as the Tiananmen Square Massacre, the Cultural Revolution, and its multitude of human rights abuses against Muslim Uyghurs, Christians, and a host of other religious and ethnic minorities. 3. DOJ charges fmr FBI Director James Comey for a third time over alleged sensitive material leak - One America News
Former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey has been charged for a third time with federal crimes, this time for knowingly communicating national defense information to an unauthorized recipient.
The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) charged Comey in federal court on Monday with unlawfully disclosing national defense information, alleging he directed an individual to leak sensitive material to anational news reporter in October 2016.
Comey was first charged was in September 2025 on charges of making false statements and obstructing a congressional proceeding during his 2020 testimony on the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.
The former FBI Director was later charged again by a federal grand jury in April over an online social media post featuring seashells arranged to read “86 47.” Prosecutors framed the image as a threat to harm the president — as “86” is a slang term meaning to throw out and/or eliminate, while “47” is a reference to the 47thPresident, Donald Trump. 4. Human Smuggling Nightmare Uncovered in Car Hauler - DML News
In the brutal South Texas heat, a car hauler attempted to pass through a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint in Laredo, Texas. Officials found he was concealing 23 undocumented individuals—including six unaccompanied minors (defined legally as children under 18 with no lawful status and no parent or guardian in the U.S.), according to the agency’s chief.
Federal law permits Border Patrol agents to operate traffic checkpoints within 100 air miles of the border to inspect vehicles for individuals present in the country unlawfully. Vehicles like car haulers—large truck-and-trailer rigs designed to transport automobiles—can be targeted by smugglers.
This bust was especially important because the people were packed into vans with the windows rolled up, and there was virtually no airflow. The driver now faces federal human smuggling charges, while all 23 individuals are being processed for deportation. (Read more) |

5. Jewish rights group calls on Trump admin to probe NYC schools as parents pull kids out of classrooms - DML News
A national Jewish legal rights group is calling on the Trump administration to probe the city Department of Education over reports parents are pulling their kids out of public schools because of rampant antisemitism.
The National Jewish Advocacy Center filed a request with the Department of Justice Monday, citing evidence outlined in Post stories beginning in the aftermath of the Oct. 7, 2023 terror attacks on Israel.
Enrollment at Jewish schools or yeshivas has increased while the student population in public schools has declined in recent years, said the letter sent to Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who heads the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. (Read more) |

6. Hundreds of staged armed robberies helped thousands pose as crime victims in US immigration scam - DML News
A “ringleader” has been sentenced and several other suspects charged in Illinois in connection with a widespread conspiracy to defraud the federal immigration system by helping noncitizens seek visa protections reserved for crime victims who assist law enforcement.
Parth Nayi of Illinois was sentenced Thursday to two years in federal prison for participating in hundreds of staged armed robberies at small businesses and eateries in and around Chicago and helping “coach” the supposed ” victims” through plans to apply for U-visas in exchange for cash.
“[Nayi] was the main organizer and at the center of almost every single one of the hundreds of staged robberies that were perpetrated. Are the Polls Wrong? Watch the Trend

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, House Speaker Mike Johnson argued that pollsters are using faulty analysis and systematically undercounting Republican voters. He cited historical polling errors and said Republicans are turning out enthusiastically at campaign events across the country. Johnson may have a point about polling methodology, but does the movement in the numbers support his optimism? With Election Day one week away, this next-to-last installment of our Watch the Trend series examines whether the trend in the polls support a growing, shrinking or holding steady Democratic advantage. The numbers offer some interesting clues, particularly when compared with our late-September baseline.
RealClearPolling's latest congressional generic ballot average has Democrats leading Republicans 51.1%-42.8%, an 8.3-point advantage. That's slightly wider than last week's 7.9 points, but narrower than our original September baseline of 8.7. Individual pollsters tell different stories. Rasmussen's Democratic advantage moved from three points in late September to five in early October and four in its latest survey. Economist/YouGov narrowed from 15 points in late September to seven in its October 19-20 survey. Morning Consult remains steady at seven points. Reuters/Ipsos, however, widened from seven points in early October to 12 points in its latest survey. The broader picture shows a persistent Democratic advantage rather than a decisive Republican comeback. Remember, we are not looking at the specific polling data, but the overall trends.

American And Chinese Aircraft Carriers Could Cross Paths As Tensions Rise Near Taiwan

China’s Liaoning aircraft carrier strike group is heading toward waters where an American supercarrier is conducting massive military exercises alongside allied warships.
The Chinese carrier and its accompanying destroyers sailed beyond the first island chain, a strategic maritime boundary stretching from Japan through Taiwan to the Philippines, the South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported Sunday. The deployment could bring Chinese warships into the Philippine Sea, where the USS Theodore Roosevelt is participating in multinational military exercises involving tens of thousands of American and Japanese troops.
“The deployment of China’s Liaoning aircraft carrier strike group to the Philippine Sea would be largely military theater and showmanship,” Steve Hanke, a professor of applied economics at Johns Hopkins University and former senior economist on President Ronald Reagan’s Council of Economic Advisers, previously told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “However, it is important because it is intended to send a signal. The Chinese are signaling to the U.S. not to mess around in China’s sphere of influence, or the U.S. will get its clock cleaned.”
“The Chinese for decades have been bold in challenging the U.S. Navy in China’s peripheral waters, so the People’s Liberation Army Navy sending one of its carriers, the Liaoning, close to the USS Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group is, in that sense, not particularly new,” China policy analyst Gordon Chang told the DCNF. “Of course, the presence of opposing carrier strike groups in close proximity is a cause for concern, but in wartime the Chinese would not send their carriers close to ours. This maneuver, therefore, looks like a propaganda exercise, an intimidation move.”
The Chinese formation reached approximately 25 nautical miles southeast of the Philippines’ Balut Island before turning northeast Friday, Philippine news outlet Bilyonaryo News Channel (BNC) reported, citing Philippine Navy monitoring reports.
Philippine naval vessels monitored the Chinese formation as it navigated the Basilan Strait near the southern Philippines. The warships reportedly traveled with their Automatic Identification Systems disabled, complicating efforts to track their movements through civilian maritime monitoring systems, BNC reported, citing a source familiar with the tracking operation.
The Chinese deployment coincides with Keen Sword 27, a massive U.S.-Japan military exercise running from Oct. 19-29 across Japan and its surrounding waters, according to the U.S. Pacific Fleet. (IJR.com) Read more here.

Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan Hold Emergency Talks in Iran Amid Fears of Renewed War

Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan held rare, high-level talks with Iranian officials in Tehran on Monday in an urgent diplomatic effort to prevent renewed fighting with the United States and Israel amid mounting concerns over another round of military strikes.
The joint diplomatic mission brought Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, Pakistani army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Turkish intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin to Tehran’s Saadabad Palace, where they met Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Mohsen Rezaei, the powerful secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.
The three visiting countries signed the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement in August, establishing a collective defense arrangement under which an attack on one member is considered an attack on all. Monday’s meeting marked their first joint high-level engagement with Iran since the Iranian-backed Houthis intensified missile and drone attacks against Saudi Arabia, targeting the kingdom’s airports and energy infrastructure.
Saudi Arabia said the mission was intended to prevent another round of military escalation and to support ongoing mediation by Qatar and Pakistan, with its Foreign Ministry calling for efforts to “de-escalate tensions between the parties to the current crisis” and pursue diplomatic solutions.

Trump Calls El-Sayed ‘Jihadist Muslim Brotherhood Member’

President Donald Trump declared Sunday in Michigan that he was there to keep Democrat nominee Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed, whom he called a “jihadist Muslim Brotherhood member,” out of the United States Senate.
Trump bashed El-Sayed and praised Republican nominee Mike Rogers in his nearly two hours of remarks at a packed McMorran Place Sports & Entertainment Center in Port Huron.
“I’m here today in Michigan for a very important reason, I’m here to keep a jihadist Muslim Brotherhood member from becoming a United States senator, and that’s the fact. We’re not going to let that happen,” he said.
“And nine days from now, the people of Michigan are going to defeat Abdul Mohammed Sayed. Abdul Mohammed, I’ll say it: a man who should never be allowed inside the halls of our great, beautiful Capitol building in Washington, D.C.,” he added.
Trump painted a stark picture between El-Sayed and Rogers, who nearly won the U.S. Senate race in the Wolverine State in 2024. Trump called Rogers “perfect” and a “fantastic man.”
“I call him Apple Pie. He’s like perfect, this guy. He’s like central casting. He’s what your state is all about. He really is. He’s a fantastic man. He’s going to be one of the great United States senators,” the president said.

“Dr. Abdul Rahman El-Sayed” of New York was the 33rd signature on the letter, the publication of which coincided with his time attending medical school at Columbia University, the Free Beacon reported.
The letter in part said the signers support the “revolutionary actions” of Morsi and derided voices in America and Europe that opposed the new regime.

When most Americans think of castles, they likely picture medieval fortresses towering over European hills.
Yet the history of these imposing structures is much closer to home than many might realize.
Speaking to Fox News Digital from England, historian Dan Jones described his latest book as a 3,000-year journey through human history, from the Sack of Troy to the Nuclear Age, as it explores the broader history of castles and fortifications.
From Iron Age hillforts to classic medieval castles and beyond, "Castles: A Fortified History of the World," explores fortifications across different eras and regions of the world, including Japan's Himeji Castle and nuclear bunkers built during the Cold War.
Jones examines the role America has played in the broader history of castles, from early fortifications to Civil War-era forts.
"I don't think we can truly understand it without having the American side to the story," said Jones.
One notable example is Fort Sumter in South Carolina, where Confederate forces opened fire on Union troops in April 1861, marking the beginning of the Civil War.
