Museum of the Bible to Host National Prayer Altar:

'People of Faith Must Come Together'

The Museum of the Bible will host the National Prayer Altar this Thursday, Oct. 30th, at 6 p.m. This event brings Americans together in-person and online. Its goal is to unite the U.S. church and bring healing to a divided country.

Pastors James and Sharon Ward lead the effort, which began in 2020.  Prayer leaders at this year's event include faith leaders Lisa Brunson, Phil Cappuccio, Brannon Carnes, Gary Hamrick, Barry and Heather Moore, Gordon Robertson, Tony Suarez, and Hannah C. Ward.

"At this year's National Prayer Altar, we are calling every American to boldly declare our nation's official motto, 'In God we trust,'" said James Ward. "We're calling every American to join us in praying for our nation to humbly return to our rightful place under God."

The Wards are hoping the event will lead to a national spiritual breakthrough and transformation.  They warn of political, racial, and ideological division that threatens the nation.

"At this moment, people of faith must come together and pray as never before to preserve our nation, to resist the forces of evil and to see America turn to God," they said. (CBN)  Watch Interview
Lord, we thank You for this opportunity to come before Your Holy Throne and pray in unity as a nation. May the prayers lifted at the 'National Prayer Altar' today be a sweet fragrant offering to You, Abba.  Lead us by Your Holy Spirit in repentance and in declaring our nation's motto "In God we trust" as Christians gather at the Museum of the Bible.  We pray for revelation in Jesus Christ, a spiritual breakthrough of genuine revival and a turning back wholeheartedly to God! By the powerful Name and Blood of Yeshua, we pray- Amen and Amen.

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6)

TODAY'S TOP STORY
Cracks Start to Show in Democrats’ Shaky Shutdown Strategy
At the Capitol, Democratic senators are flying back to a pressure cooker of headlines that will severely challenge their ability to shrug off this shutdown as a Republican phenomenon. In a stunning twist, America’s largest federal workers’ union, the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), publicly called the situation “an avoidable crisis,” arguing that both parties have made their point and it’s time to put workers back on the job. But one party in particular will feel the pain of President Everette Kelley’s statement — and that’s Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D-N.Y.) Democrats. “It’s time to pass a clean continuing resolution and end this shutdown today,” Kelley chided.

Making matters worse in Democratic headquarters, the dominoes are starting to fall in areas well beyond government employees. If the two sides don’t come to an agreement before Saturday, Democrats will be risking the entire food stamp system, now known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), on the altar of their wrongheaded political strategy. Unlike other agencies, the Department of Agriculture (USDA) says it doesn’t have the ability to move funds around to accommodate the hungry families that rely on SNAP for meals. In a memo circulated over the weekend, USDA leaders warned, “Due to Congressional Democrats’ refusal to pass a clean continuing resolution (CR), approximately 42 million individuals will not receive their SNAP benefits come November 1st.” Quite simply, the letter said, “The well has run dry.”

For the more fortunate, air travel is also on the verge of a meltdown. Rep. Bob Onder (R-Mo.), a private pilot himself, told Family Research Council’s Jody Hice on Friday’s “Washington Watch” that the situation is “very, very serious.” “The air traffic controllers, especially when you get into these very busy airspaces, have to be at peak performance all the time. They have very stressful jobs,” he insisted. “They are multitasking like no other job on this planet, and lives are at stake.” When you add a lack of cash flow into their home lives, “when they have to pay their bills, when they have the utilities threatening to cut off power, or they have to pay for school supplies for their children or food to put on the table, they’re going to have to be … taking second jobs. Like driving Ubers late at night. This is not good. It’s not safe. And the economic impact of, uh, flight cancellations and flight delays is enormous.”

Leadership’s entire soapbox about Republicans destroying health care for millions of Americans isn’t even true, Democratic Rep. Jared Golden (Maine) wanted people to know. After all, it was the Democrats’ legislation that established 2025 as the year for the subsidies to end. “I’m just uncomfortable lying about the strategy to win and shutting down the government,” he shook his head. “We’ve never been the party that does that.” (The Washington Stand) Read more here.
Lord God, we thank You that Your Word and Your Ways are true. We cannot twist facts to support our own agenda when those facts are wrong! The Democrats have now seen a boomerang coming back against them since their leader, Chuck Schumer, chose to shut down this government rather than pass a clean CR that will bless our nation, fund our budget, and serve to meet the needs of our people. We call forth the full force of this biblically based boomerang, until the Democrats' agenda collapses completely. In Jesus' name, we offer this prayer, amen and amen!

"Their evil will boomerang on them." (2 Peter 2:13 MSG)

"The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous,
And the unfaithful for the upright."
(Proverbs 21:18)
Please note: many churches across our nation are now receiving food donations for any who would like to take them. These churches often set up "food tables" in their
front halls and anyone, at any time, is welcome to drop off items from your own pantry.

Please pray about this opportunity to help the needy in our nation. You may also find these "food tables" established in city halls and government buildings nearby, too!

Thank you!

Federal Judges Admit to Using AI to Formulate Retracted Court Rulings
Two rulings from two federal judges were retracted over the summer. For months, no one knew why, since there was nothing but silence on the matter. Now, however, they’ve confessed: the opinions were created using artificial intelligence (AI).

Both of the rulings were initially released in the summer. New Jersey U.S. District Judge Julien Xavier Neals and Mississippi Judge Henry T. Wingate admitted to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) that the use of AI led to errors in their rulings. As The Washington Times reported, “One judge said a law school intern wrongly used the AI, and the other said it was a clerk in his office. In both cases, the judges signed the final rulings.” Both judges claimed they’re working to ensure this does not happen again. But as far as Grassley is concerned, it never should have occurred in the first place.

“We can’t allow laziness, apathy or overreliance on artificial assistance to upend the judiciary’s commitment to integrity and factual accuracy,” Grassley asserted. “As always, my oversight will continue.”

In fact, during a panel discussion at Family Research Council’s 2025 Pray Vote Stand Summit, FRC’s Vice President for Policy and Government Affairs Travis Weber posed a fitting question: “Should we be concerned about AI?”

If you ask Brandon Maddick, software engineer and head of product for the Christian AI platform Dominion, the answer is “definitely.” As he explained, it’s not merely the risk of job loss and its impact on the economy we have to address, but also the way AI has crept into personal lives — whether that be how a student operates or the chatbots that have young people viewing AI as their boyfriends or girlfriends.

“[T]he way to really do a lot of work in AI is you build several AIs that help to build even better AIs, and those better AIs help you build even better AIs. So, there’s an exponential nature to that. And when you combine that with the amount of investment across the board internationally, and then really you can look at power companies and chips, which are the fundamental things necessary behind this.” Understanding all this, he stressed, shows us that it’s only “just getting started, and it’s going to radically change things.” However, as both Frendl and Maddick concluded, these advanced and ever-advancing AI developments, especially if left unchecked, could potentially drive people back to a place of desiring true meaning — church, real human connections, and genuine effort.

As “with everything in the world,” Maddick stated, “Christians have the ability to reject it, receive it as it is, or redeem it. … [R]ejecting AI is a dangerous option for those souls that are not yet saved, because of the way that our community will look very different. Receiving it is not an option because of the embedded problems that we’re already starting to see … that are only going to worsen as it becomes more pervasive. And so, the option left to us is to redeem it, to take dominion, and put AI under Christ’s lordship for the benefit of all.” (The Washington Stand) Read more here.
Father God,

Thank you for bringing this serious article to our attention. Two Federal judges have now confessed that their opinions were created using artificial intelligence that led to errors in their rulings due to the mis-information created by AI. Lord, let us learn not to depend on what AI's facts are knowing that they might not be accurate as it was in the cases that had to be retracted this summer. As AI continues to bleed into all areas of our society, we ask You, O God, to give us wisdom and discernment concerning anything that doesn't sound or look right. Father, under your authority, we now take dominion over AI and we put it under the blood of Jesus and under His lordship. We ask that AI be used for your glory or that you shut it down in the courtroom of heaven. As always we pray, thy will be done. In Jesus name. Amen.

" If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. " (James 1:5 )

Breaking: Trump Hauls in Massive $1 Trillion in Deals from South Korea Visit, Strengthens Military Alliance, Approves New Tech

President Donald Trump says anyone looking for signs of success from his visit to South Korea should start counting the dollar signs.

“South Korea has agreed to pay the USA 350 Billion Dollars for a lowering of the Tariff’s charged against them by the United States,” Trump wrote Wednesday in a post on Truth Social.

“Additionally, they have agreed to buy our Oil and Gas in vast quantities, and investments into our Country by wealthy South Korean Companies and Businessmen will exceed 600 Billion Dollars,” he wrote.

Trump noted that he is helping South Korea protect itself from North Korea and its ally, China.

“Our Military Alliance is stronger than ever before and, based on that, I have given them approval to build a Nuclear Powered Submarine, rather than the old fashioned, and far less nimble, diesel powered Submarines that they have now. A great trip, with a great Prime Minister!” Trump posted.

As noted by Reuters, South Korean President Lee Jae Myung had sought U.S. permission to reprocess nuclear fuel to power submarines so that the nation can improve its tracking of  North Korean and Chinese vessels.

An existing treaty between the two nations required America’s blessing before South Korea could reprocess nuclear fuel.

A White House statement noted that Korean Air will purchase 103 Boeing aircraft in a $36.2 billion deal, while also buying GE Aerospace engines in a $13.7 billion deal. South Korea’s Air Force will contract with L3Harris Technologies for its Airborne Warning and Control aircraft in a deal worth $2.3 billion.

A Technology Prosperity Deal will increase science and technology cooperation, with a focus on American artificial intelligence exports, as Amazon invests $5 billion through 2031 to increase cloud computing capacity in South Korea.

HD Hyundai and Cerberus Capital Management will spend $5 billion to modernize American shipyards, while Hanwha Ocean will invest $5 billion to strengthen Pennsylvania’s Philly Shipyard workforce. (The Western Journal) Read more here.

Well, Lord, our President has done it again! By setting in place all of these successful business dealings, he has clearly strengthened our bond with South Korea, a nation that has long stood as one of our key allies in Asia. And, in doing so, "Trump noted that he is helping South Korea protect itself from North Korea and its ally, China." Praise the Lord!

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord!" (Psalm 150:6)

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Israeli-Syrian security negotiations near completion - i24 News

Ongoing negotiations between Israel and Syria are said to be nearing completion, with discussions reportedly including plans for a joint Israeli, Syrian, and American presence at several strategic points, among them Mount Hermon.

The development was revealed by an Israeli official speaking to the Saudi outlet Al-Arabiya on Wednesday.

According to the official, the possibility of establishing a humanitarian corridor between Israel and Sweida has been ruled out. Instead, any such corridor would originate from Damascus under an American proposal designed to ensure that aid and movement occur through officially sanctioned channels. (Read more)

2. Hezbollah Rebuilds Military Capabilities in Southern Lebanon With Iranian Support Amid US Pressure, Israeli Strikes - Algemeiner

The terrorist group Hezbollah is rebuilding its military infrastructure in southern Lebanon with Iranian support while openly defying international calls to disarm — a move that has heightened fears of a renewed conflict with Israel and prompted intensified diplomatic efforts by the United States and Egypt to prevent further escalation.

As Lebanon stands on the brink of a major new conflict, the government is intensifying efforts to meet the ceasefire deadline to disarm the Iran-backed terrorist group, while trying to avoid plunging the nation into a civil war.

On Monday, Hezbollah chief Sheikh Naim Qassem once again refused to lay down the Islamist group’s weapons, rebuffing mounting US pressure and warnings of a possible Israeli military response.

In an interview with the Lebanese outlet Al-Manar, Qassem insisted that the group’s military arsenal is a “legitimate tool for resisting Israel’s occupation and threats.”

3. IDF: Truce resumes in Gaza after Hamas attack, Israeli reprisals - JNS

The Israel Defense Forces on Wednesday morning reaffirmed its commitment to the U.S.-brokered ceasefire in Gaza, which had been jeopardized after a deadly Hamas attack on Israeli forces the previous day prompted retaliatory strikes.

“Following a series of significant strikes in which dozens of terror targets and terrorists were attacked, the IDF has begun renewed enforcement of the agreement after its violation by the Hamas terror organization,” the military said.

As part of its retaliation, the IDF said it targeted more than 30 high-ranking commanders of various terrorist groups operating in Gaza. (Read more)

4. Qatari PM accuses Israel of ‘torturing and mistreating’ Palestinian prisoners
- Times of Israel

Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed Abdulrahman Al-Thani calls out Israel’s treatment of Palestinian prisoners, taking particular issue with videos posted by far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir in which he is seen mocking inmates.

Al-Thani is asked during an onstage interview at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York City why Israel hasn’t released prominent security prisoner Marwan Barghouti, who is seen as a unifying figure among Palestinians. Barghouti is currently serving five cumulative life terms for planning attacks during the Second Intifada that killed five civilians. He has denied the charges and rejected the Israeli court’s jurisdiction.

The Qatari premier says this is a question for Israel, but that “there are tens or hundreds of Marwan Barghoutis in Israeli prisons who have been prosecuted and tortured and mistreated, and no one is talking about it.” (Read more)

5. Qatar blames Hamas for ceasefire violation - World Israel News

Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani suggested this week that Hamas or “a Palestinian faction” may have been responsible for the latest violation of the fragile ceasefire with Israel, while urging all sides to avoid steps that could unravel the agreement.

Speaking at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York, Al Thani said recent clashes in Gaza appeared to have been triggered by a Palestinian faction that some in Hamas have claimed was “out of communication” with the organization.

Others, he noted, denied any connection to Hamas. “At this point, it doesn’t matter who acted,” he said. “What matters is ensuring this does not bring down the entire agreement.”

Al Thani emphasized that Qatar, along with the United States, Egypt, and Turkey, is focused on preventing a return to large-scale fighting. He said his government continues to serve as a mediator between Israel and Hamas, both of which communicate only through intermediaries. (Read more)

1. Trump Becomes First President to Receive South Korea’s Highest Honor - Breitbart

South Korean President Lee Jae-myung on Wednesday presented President Donald Trump with South Korea’s highest honor, the Grand Order of Mugunghwa, along with a replica of the golden Cheonmachong crown.

Lee said the honors were a token of “new trust and companionship between Korea and the United States.” “We present this gold crown to you on this joyous occasion of your state visit to Gyeongju because it symbolizes the spirit of Silla, which brought peace to the Korean Peninsula for the first time, and the opening of the golden age of the Korea-U.S. alliance,” said South Korean Deputy Foreign Minister for Protocol Affairs Kim Tae-jin.

Kim said the crown symbolizes “divine connection between the authority of the heavens and sovereignty on Earth, as well as the strong leadership and authority of a leader.” (Read more)
Lord God, we thank you that our president continues to enjoy good relations with other foreign countries, promoting peace and unity across most of the world. We pray protection for President Trump as he continues to travel, that no harm or evil can come near him or touch him or his family and the members of his administration. Bring each one home safely, O Lord! We ask in Jesus' name, amen.

“Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.” (2 Corinthians 13:11)

2. Newsom invokes Scripture in attack on GOP over shutdown affecting food assistance: ‘Cruelty is the policy’ - Fox News

California Gov. Gavin Newsom invoked biblical teachings while criticizing Republican leadership and the Trump administration for the federal government shutdown’s impact on food assistance, arguing that Scripture commands care for the hungry and that Washington is failing that moral test.

Speaking Tuesday in Sacramento alongside state Attorney General Rob Bonta and Health and Human Services Secretary Kim Johnson, Newsom cited teachings from Matthew, Isaiah, Luke and Proverbs as evidence that feeding the poor is "core and central to what it is to align to God’s will."

"It’s not a suggestion in the Old [and] the New Testament," Newsom said. "These guys need to stop the B.S. in Washington. They’re sitting there in their prayer breakfasts. Maybe they got an edited version of [President] Donald Trump’s Bible, and they edited all of that out. Cruelty is the policy." (Read more)

Lord God, we know that your word talks about helping the poor, but also talks about helping your own family, your own people, and that if you don’t help your own family and your own people, it is a sign of poor leadership. We pray Gavin Newsom is reading his Bible, Lord, and that he follows all of your laws and commandments. We pray he practices what he preaches for his own state and his own people who are now suffering under his leadership. We pray that he comes to know you and all your ways, in Jesus' name, amen.

“But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” (1 Timothy 5:8)

3. School Board Defies North Carolina’s Parental Rights Law - Million Voices

In January 2024, the Chapel Hill–Carrboro City Schools (CHCCS) Board of Education voted unanimously to adopt a local policy that directly conflicts with North Carolina’s new Parents’ Bill of Rights. The law, known as Senate Bill 49, had passed the legislature months earlier after lawmakers overrode Governor Roy Cooper’s veto. It was intended to expand transparency and parental involvement in education, but CHCCS made clear it would not comply.

The district serves the progressive communities of Chapel Hill and Carrboro and has often acted as a bellwether for education trends in the state. During its January 18 meeting, the board voted to reject two key requirements: notifying parents if their child requests a name or pronoun change at school, and prohibiting classroom instruction on gender identity or sexuality for kindergarten through fourth grade. By adopting its own version of the policy, the board effectively told the state it would chart its own course.

The move gained national attention after the account Libs of TikTok shared video of the meeting, claiming the district was “bragging” about defying state law. The viral post fueled debate over whether local school boards should have the authority to ignore state legislation they oppose. (Read more)

Jesus, protect the children from bad actors in government. Give wisdom to those who desire to seek You and follow Your moral law. Embolden the parents to take a stand for Your word in their schools, and empower them to get more involved. We pray that you would help us raise up a new coalition of civil leaders that can restore righteousness in government, in Jesus' name.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16)

4. Terrorist Associations Rock NYC Mayor’s Race - Million Voices

When we think of the worst terrorist attacks in U.S. history, most notably the catastrophic destruction of the September 11 attacks, it’s hard not to feel a deep sense of caution about who we allow to lead our cities. And now in New York City, voters are being asked to choose the next mayor at a time when one candidate’s associations raise questions about judgment, loyalties, and his understanding of what’s at stake.

The candidate in question is Zohran Mamdani, a progressive hopeful for NYC’s top office. While many critics focus on his left-leaning policies, a far more alarming issue has surfaced: Mamdani recently posed for a smiling photo with Siraj Wahhaj, an imam who has documented links to extremist figures connected to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

That photo is not simply an amusing snapshot, it signals a potential tolerance for associations with extremist ideology. And it comes not even a quarter-century after the 2001 attacks. For a city that still bears the scars of terror, this is deeply concerning. (Read more)

Lord God, we know that leadership is measured not only by policy positions but by the company one keeps and the moral convictions guiding their choices. Help the citizens of New York vote for the correct candidate. Give us courageous leaders who will boldly step in the gap and defend our communities through civil law. In Your Name, Holy One, we pray. Amen.

“Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” (1 Corinthians 15:33)

5. Louisiana Pastor Fired After Refusing to Use False Pronouns - Million Voices

When Luke Ash, a bi-vocational pastor from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, refused to use a colleague’s preferred pronouns, he wasn’t trying to make headlines, he was simply trying to remain faithful to God’s Word. Yet his decision cost him his job. Ash served both as a pastor at Stevendale Baptist Church and as a library technician for the East Baton Rouge Parish Library until his termination in July 2025.

According to The Christian Post, Ash’s refusal stemmed from a deeply held conviction: using pronouns that contradict biological sex would be dishonest and inconsistent with his faith. He declined to use false pronouns even in private conversation, saying simply, “I don’t do that.” Within a day, he was shown the library’s inclusivity policy and told he must comply. When he explained that doing so would violate his conscience, he was fired.

Legal advocacy group Liberty Counsel is now representing Ash, demanding his reinstatement, back pay, and a revision of the library’s pronoun policy. They argue his dismissal violates the First Amendment, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and the Louisiana Protection of Religious Freedom Act. (Read more)

Lord, give Your Church the boldness, encouraging believers to live out their faith boldly, even in professional settings. We must actively preach truth to those who desperately need it. True love and loving others is standing for righteousness. We thank you for showing us how to do that, Lord, in Jesus' name.

“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” (Colossians 2:6-7)
6. Predator Protections Emerge in Wisconsin Schools - Million Voices

Recent reporting by The Federalist has revealed something deeply troubling about the state of Wisconsin’s public school system. Between 2018 and 2023, more than 460 educators were investigated by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for misconduct. Shockingly, over 200 of them kept their licenses and continued working with children. This pattern, highlighted by state and local investigations, shows how deeply broken the system of accountability has become.

The Capital Times found that more than 200 teachers, aides, substitutes, and administrators were accused of sexual misconduct or grooming behaviors toward students. Many of these cases were kept from public view. Instead of ensuring transparency and safety, school districts and the Department of Public Instruction often moved offenders quietly or allowed them to resign without consequences. Parents were kept in the dark, and students were left vulnerable. (Read more)

Lord God, when schools protect predators instead of children, they betray the trust parents place in them and erode their moral authority. This is very concerning and so right now we just pray that your justice and righteousness would correct this situation all across our country, so that our kids would be protected and shown the utmost importance, in Jesus' name, amen.

“Turn from evil and do good; then you will dwell in the land forever. For the LORD loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed ; the offspring of the wicked will perish. The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.” (Psalm 37:27-29)

Stupidocrisy: Media Says Security Policy
Is End To Free Speech

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, October 29, 2025

The mainstream media has discovered a brand-new constitutional crisis: the Pentagon wants them to wear press credentials and have escorts in high security areas. Shocking, Right? Major outlets—including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Associated Press, Reuters, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News, NPR, The Atlantic, The Guardian, Axios, Politico, and Newsmax—refused to sign the Pentagon’s new acknowledgment form requiring press badges and escorts in certain areas. Only One America News agreed. Their claim is that security protocols somehow silence them. Apparently, “please wear a badge and don’t wander into the Joint Chiefs’ offices” is the First Amendment apocalypse.

Their big gripe is that signing the form supposedly forces them into a partnership with the government—an ironic complaint considering many of these same outlets have enjoyed casual, almost cozy access for years. Not to mention how their reporting favored the agenda of their political beliefs. They say the language is vague, overly broad, and chilling to journalism. They argue that simply acknowledging escort rules means handing control of “what can be reported” to the Pentagon. In their minds, the government holding the keys to the hallway is the same as holding the keys to their copy desk. Suddenly, they’re brave defenders of press independence. Read More

5 Ways to Redeem Halloween
The following article was posted this week by Intercessors for America. We continue to thank IFA for the valuable resources they provide for all of our intercessors in America. Praise God!

3. Pray Over the Fright Sites.

My husband, Rich (also an IFA contributing writer and prayer leader), and I are big believers in prayer walking — especially in troubled areas and over sinful displays.

Living in the heart of Times Square in New York City, we get a lot of practice.

We also live in a building filled with actors and Broadway workers because the theatre district is right here. When we first moved to this building, the amazing stagecraft of Broadway set builders and decorators was in full, gruesome display in our lobby during this season.

But we prayed and we sent our management suggestions about the decor.

For the last four or five years, we have seen pumpkins and fall grasses instead of the symbols of death and dying.

We also pray over storefronts and homes that display hideous displays and have avoided patronizing stores that continue to use these decorations.
Closing Prayer:

Lord, please show us how You want us to co-labor to redeem October 31. We want to change our culture from death to life! In Jesus’ Name.
Asking Your Help!
Dear friends and fellow prayer warriors,

I would like to ask you for your help in researching a concept I have heard over the years but have not been able to track. This is the point that, in any given election, when a city is experiencing inclement weather, the Democrats tend to stay home
while the Republicans will show up at the polls -- no matter what!

I know that I have heard this fact referenced in days past, but I am not able to verify this "rumor."

If any of you out there might be able to help me verify this claim, I do appreciate your sending me the title of an article you know of and the link to its source. THANK YOU!

Meanwhile, let's all pray as follows:

"Father God, we know that You know whom You would want to vote next Tuesday, and those whom You would want to stay home.
Lord, we do not wish to cause any harm to any voter, but we agree that You will block those from voting who would cast a ballot
against Your will. Thank You, O Lord, for hearing our prayer, amen and amen!"

Thank you all, and let's all remember, ourselves, to vote next week on Tuesday, November 4th. AMEN!
"‘This decision is by the decree of the watchers,
And the sentence by the word of the holy ones,
In order that the living may know
That the Most High rules in the kingdom of men,
Gives it to whomever He will,
And sets over it the lowest of men.’"
(Daniel 4:17)
And Now . . . Lion of Judah: ROAR!!!!
"The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man;
He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

(Isaiah 42:13)

'Total devastation': Hurricane Melissa leaves trail of destruction, flooding in Jamaica
The most intense Atlantic hurricane of 2025 made landfall near New Hope, Jamaica, on Tuesday, followed by a second landfall in Cuba early on Wednesday as the monstrous storm sliced across the Caribbean.

The most powerful Atlantic hurricane of 2025 has plowed into Jamaica after days of unleashing heavy rain, strong winds and pounding surf across the Caribbean. The Category 5 storm was at peak strength when it roared ashore on Tuesday.

Melissa made landfall near New Hope, Jamaica, at 1 p.m. EDT Tuesday as a Category 5 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 185 mph. It was the first time an Atlantic storm made landfall as a Category 5 since Hurricane Dorian in 2019. It made a second landfall near Chivirico, Cuba, at 3:10 a.m. EDT Wednesday as a Category 3 storm.

Kingston, Jamaica's capital, was spared the worst of the hurricane, but western parts of the island experienced "total devastation," according to Daryl Vaz, the Jamaican Minister of Energy, Transport and Telecommunications. Officials added that there is a "total communication blackout" in the region that took the brunt of Melissa's wrath Tuesday.

"There is a lot of flooding around the city," Storm Chaser Bryce Shelton told AccuWeather Tuesday evening while in Mandeville, Jamaica. "There are homes that are submerged, there are cars submerged. It is basically impossible to get out of the city."

At least seven fatalities have already been reported across the Caribbean due to the monstrous hurricane, which has been slowly tracking near Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica for days. Early images emerging from the Caribbean showed widespread flooding and multiple roofs being blown off large buildings. Read More

A Special Message
The Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
