Sa’ar: Iran attempted to assassinate multiple Israeli diplomats

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said on Tuesday that the country’s security services are “constantly” working to foil ongoing Iranian plots aimed at its diplomats worldwide.

“It was recently reported that Iran attempted to assassinate the Israeli ambassador in Mexico—it’s not the only place they tried to do it,” Sa’ar said, speaking at the opening of Israel’s embassy in Tallinn, Estonia.

“From here, I want to send a message that will be heard from Tallinn to Tehran: Iran constantly targets Israel’s embassies, ambassadors and diplomats. We will not be deterred,” he added.

“On the contrary,” the top diplomat continued, “we will continue to expand Israel’s relations around the world.” He noted that the diplomatic mission in Estonia is the third new embassy he has opened this year.

“We will continue to strengthen Israel’s relations with the nations around the world,” said Sa’ar.

Hasan Izadi, a member of Tehran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, planned to assassinate Einat Kranz Neiger, Israel’s envoy to Mexico, a U.S. official and Israel’s Foreign Affairs Ministry told JNS last week.

“The plot was contained and does not pose a current threat,” said the U.S. official, who spoke anonymously. “This is just the latest in a long history of Iran’s global lethal targeting of diplomats, journalists, dissidents and anyone who disagrees with them.”

Israel’s Foreign Affairs Ministry told JNS that “we thank the security and law enforcement services in Mexico for thwarting a terrorist network directed by Iran that sought to attack Israel’s ambassador in Mexico.” (JNS.org) Read more

Father God, we thank You that the nation of Israel has broadened its relations with other countries in the Middle East, recently opening a diplomatic mission in Estonia. We thank You, too, that these nations were able to work together to thwart an Iranian assassination plot against Einat Kranz Neiger, Israel’s envoy to Mexico. We thank You, O Lord, for this new spirit of cooperation that is now emerging between Israel and her neighbors. We ask that this friendship among these nations would grow and prosper in the days ahead. Praise God!

" Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord!" (Psalm 150:6)

Iran hiding enriched uranium stockpile

UN nuclear inspectors said Thursday they were "deeply concerned" about Iran's stockpile of uranium enriched to near weapons grade, as the Islamic Republic continues to deny them access to facilities struck several months ago by the United States and Israel.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stressed that it has been unable to confirm Iran's fuel inventory since mid-June, according to documents obtained by Bloomberg. This is the agency's first report since the UN Security Council reimposed sanctions demanding that Iran cease enrichment activities.

"The agency's lack of access to this nuclear material in Iran for five months means its verification, according to standard safety procedures, has long been delayed," wrote IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi. He added that Tehran's failure to inform his agency of the uranium's whereabouts was "a matter of serious concern."

While satellite images show that the strikes by Israel and the US destroyed much of Iran's surface-level nuclear activity, they also reversed decades of access previously granted to UN inspectors at Tehran's massive atomic complex. Iran's nuclear work has worried the West for decades, and tensions over its program — which began in the 1950s — have often rattled oil markets and sparked cycles of confrontation and conciliation with the United States.

About six months ago, Grossi admitted that the IAEA did not know the location of roughly 400 kilograms (880 pounds) of enriched uranium after Iranian officials said they had moved it "to protect it" ahead of anticipated US attacks. "We're not speculating here. We have no information on the location of this material," Grossi told Fox News. (IsraelHayom) Read more here.

Father God, this is not the first time we have heard rumors of Iran hiding its enriched uranium stockpile. We thank you that our military worked with great precision to destroy a major amount of this stockpile, but it does seem that more needs to be done. We stand on Your Word, trusting that in Your time, all will be revealed and destroyed, for the protection of millions around the world. Amen.

"For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light." (Mark 4:22)

Int’l Gaza force won’t raid houses for terrorists, Rubio says

The International Stabilization Force slated to provide security in Gaza until a Palestinian organization can step up to govern the Strip would not have to initiate operations against Hamas terrorists because Hamas has agreed to disarm, U.S. State Secretary Marco Rubio told reporters on Wednesday night.

The ISF “shouldn’t be a fighting force, because the agreement that was signed and … all parties agreed to calls for the demilitarization of Hamas,” said Rubio, who took questions from reporters after the G7 meeting in Canada’s Niagara region.

The role of the interim force is to provide “just basic everyday security,” he continued.

“If you want to really flood Gaza, particularly in that red area that’s not in Israeli control, if you really want to see a huge uptick, not just in humanitarian assistance, but redevelopment, you’re going to need to have security. And that can’t be Hamas,” he stressed.

“We have a new draft that’s being worked on now. We feel optimistic that it’s going to happen. It needs to be done the right way and obviously there [are] a lot of different countries, you have to balance their interests here and how that’s structured, beyond just the security force. So I think we’re making good progress on the language of the resolution, and hopefully we’ll have action on it very soon. We don’t want to lose momentum on this,” he added.

When asked if the ISF will start operating only after the Israel Defense Forces fully withdraws from the Gaza Strip, Rubio said, “That’s what’s being worked on in the resolution and those are the questions that key partner countries are asking before they participate … Clearly there’ll have to be some delineation of all of that before countries sign in.” (JNS.org) Read more here

Lord God, as American citizens, we must trust this statement made by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. We give our full support as Your watchmen on the wall to every effort made by our government to secure peace for Israel and Gaza. We ask for Your continued wisdom to guide our leaders as they navigate our way to a secure peace in this part of the world. Come, Holy Spirit, we pray, amen and amen.

"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." (I Timothy 2:1,2)

Speaker Johnson on Potential January Shutdown: ‘I Don’t Put Anything Past Schumer and Jeffries’

Friday on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria,” Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said Democratic lawmakers could shut the government down again in January.

Host Maria Bartiromo said, “I want to get your take on what happens now, Mr. Speaker, because of course, you all fund government until the end of January. And once that expires, are you expecting more drama where your colleagues on the left are going to try to shut government down again at the end of January?”

Johnson said, “Well, I don’t put anything past Schumer and Jeffries and the Democrats right now, but we’re gonna try to take that weapon out of their hand. What I mean by that is, over these next several intense days, these next couple of months, we’ll be working around the clock to make sure we get more of these appropriations bills through the process. As you know, part of the vote Wednesday night was a minibus, a small package of three of those appropriations bills that we’ve now gotten off the table. There’s 12 of them in total. So we are working right now for the next package of those to push through the process and get this done in the way it’s supposed to be done, by regular order. That is how we operate as good stewards of taxpayer funds.”

”And as you know, Maria, it hasn’t worked that way in Washington for a long, long time. Since I became speaker two years ago, I’ve been trying to force that like a boulder up a hill. And this is a big innovation. It seems like a small thing to cheer on, but in Washington, having gotten three appropriations bills signed into law, three individual appropriations bills, is a big achievement. We’re going to do more of those, and hopefully we can get all that done by that deadline in January.” (Breitbart) Read more here.

Father God, to quote the Speaker, "we don’t put anything past Schumer and Jeffries", either. We ask now for a miracle of divine intervention, so that all remaining parts of the government can be funded at levels that honor You before the next budget deadline at the end of January 2026.

We trust You to lead our Senators and members of Congress to be able to sort these out without further delay. And we thank You, again, that this week, President Trump did sign the bill to end the shutdown. Hallelujah!

CBO: Monthly Budget Review: Summary for Fiscal Year 2025: In fiscal year 2025, which ended on September 30, the federal budget deficit totaled $1.8 trillion—a decrease of $41 billion (or 2 percent) from the shortfall recorded in the previous year. The federal deficit in 2025 was equal to 5.9 percent of the nation’s gross domestic product (GDP), a decrease from 6.3 percent of GDP in 2024. Federal debt held by the public increased in 2025 relative to the size of the economy—rising to 99.8 percent from 97.4 percent of GDP at the end of fiscal year 2024. • The trend and the consequences of 99.8 percent

How the shutdown ending will impact air travelLingering flight disruptions expected after government reopensTrade group calls for 'long-term solution' to protect air travel in future shutdown

5 takeaways from the longest shutdown
1. Schumer comes under fire.
2. Republicans now face ACA situation.
3. Republicans find success in playing hardball.
4. Trump breaks from reputation as dealmaker.
5. Another shutdown in January?

The Shutdown’s Over. Now What? While Thune agreed to talk about the subsidies after the government reopens, he also made it clear that a condition of any deal would be closing the loophole that allows taxpayer-funded abortion. “A one-year extension along the lines of what [Democrats] are suggesting, and without Hyde protections … doesn’t even get close.” His fellow South Dakota colleague, Senator Mike Rounds (R), echoed the sentiment. “That’s the message that we shared with a lot of our Democratic colleagues is you can’t do it under your existing framework, and you’re never going to get any Republican votes. Because we believe strongly taxpayer dollars should not go to fund abortions,” he said. “They have a different point of view, but it’s pretty clear that Republicans are solid on that particular issue.”

Health Care Policy — Committee: Senate

Nearly $200 million in federal health-related grants benefited illegal immigrants since 2021: According to the report, the grants include both direct services and academic research aimed at expanding access to healthcare for immigrant populations.

End of shutdown tees up health care

Trump urges Senate GOP to give health care subsidies 'directly to the people': In other words, take from the BIG, BAD Insurance Companies, give it to the people, and terminate, per Dollar spent, the worst Healthcare anywhere in the World, ObamaCare. Unrelated, we must still terminate the Filibuster! Trump says

Problem Solvers Caucus Co-Chair Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.) asks Thune, Schumer to work on ACA enhanced subsidies extension bill: If lawmakers fail to reach a solution before the end of the year when subsidies expire, Americans 60 years and older (and not enrolled in Medicare which starts at 65) with an income of $65,000 or more will pay $920 more per month in 2026, according to estimates from the health research nonprofit KFF analyzed by The New York Times. • Sen. Johnson on extending COVID-era ACA subsidy enhancements: ‘I think most people are absolutely opposed to it’ Speaker Johnson argued that increasing federal subsidies for insurance premiums is not the answer. “The problem is now it’s becoming completely unaffordable for more and more people. The Democrat solution is to subsidize the broken system. We would like to go in and look at the root causes of why those costs are so high,” the Speaker said. • Some Democrats already assuming no health care policy improvement in the next 2.5 months Rep. Andy Harris (R-Md.) said he’s pushing legislation to automatically fund the government in two-week increments during protracted disagreements over spending bills.

Democrats supposedly introduce discharge petition to extend ACA enhanced subsidies • Of the 10 discharge petitions introduced this Congress, only one petitiion was on 11/12/2025. It has 174 Democratic Representative signatures. It is for H.Res. 780, a rule to bring H.R. 1834, McGovern's Breaking the Gridlock Act, to a vote. • The text of neither the resolution nor the bill says anything about ACA or enhanced subsidy extensions. Instead it covers Congressional time capsule, fire suppression cost share agreements, Udall Foundation funding, strategy on Boko Haram, veterans interagency task force, veterans pilot program, TSA commuting benefits, China financial threat mitigation, servicemembers' and veterans' group life insurance, restoration of amounts to veterans, hearings by House committees, code of official conduct, prohibiting transfer of sensitive data to foreign adversaries, determination of budgetary effects, domestically made United States flags, and appropriations, the health section of which only covers rural health. • A call to House Minority Whip Clark's office was unable to confirm the discharge petition despite repeated attempts to confer with colleagues. Her office suggested checking next week for another petition. • An intern in Rep. McGovern's office was told to inform us it's “procedural.”
