Trump shares letter from Franklin Graham urging his faith, repentance: 'Important issue'
|

|
President Donald Trump shared a letter on Palm Sunday that had been sent to him by evangelist Franklin Graham last October, which urged him to seriously consider his eternal state, accept Jesus Christ as his Savior and cease trusting in his own works if he hopes to go to Heaven.
In a letter dated Oct. 15, 2025, Graham congratulated Trump for securing a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and the return of remaining Israeli hostages, which he praised as "incredible accomplishments" and "an answer to prayer" amid Trump's "historic" leadership. He also praised Trump for being a peacemaker, noting that Jesus promised blessing for such figures.
Graham went on to exhort the president to remember that, despite his many accomplishments and apparent blessings, neither he nor anyone else can earn favor before God and salvation from Hell apart from trusting in the righteousness and atoning death of Jesus Christ, performed on their behalf.
"This week you commented to the media that you might not be heaven bound," Graham wrote, referring to remarks Trump made last October, walking back previous comments he made last August suggesting he might earn a place in paradise by inking peace deals.
Trump's initial comments prompted a flurry of theological debate among his Evangelical supporters, many of whom worried that Trump maintained a faulty view of the Gospel, despite hearing it many times and narrowly escaping death multiple times.
"Maybe you responded in jest, but it is an important issue to know for certain that your soul is secure and will spend eternity in the presence of God," Graham told Trump in his letter. "The only One who can save us from Hell is Jesus Christ. You can't save yourself; I can't save myself."
"God requires us to turn from our sins and, by faith, believe in our heart that Jesus came to earth, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and God raised Him to life on the third day," he said.
"If you accept that by faith and invite Him to come into your heart, you ARE heaven bound, I promise you," he added.
Graham closed his letter by promising prayer for Trump and quoting the Gospel message from Romans 10:9: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

Trump Says US Core Objectives in Iran are Nearing Completion in Primetime Address

President Donald Trump explained the reasons for the country’s war with Iran and said that the United States is “nearing completion” of the objectives set at the start of the military operation, during a primetime address on April 1.
“Thanks to the progress we’ve made, I can say tonight that we are on track to complete all of America’s military objectives shortly, very shortly,” Trump said.
“We’re going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks. We’re going to bring them back to the stone ages, where they belong,” he added.
Trump noted that negotiations with Iran are ongoing. He also reiterated that “regime change has occurred” since the U.S.–Israeli joint strikes eliminated “all of their original leaders.”
“They’re all dead. The new group is less radical and much more reasonable,” he said.
However, he warned that if no agreement is reached, the next strikes will target Iran’s power plants and oil facilities.
The speech, which aired at 9 p.m. ET, came at a critical time as the conflict in the Middle East has entered its second month. During his nearly 20-minute address, Trump mentioned no plans for a potential ground troop invasion. Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of Iran’s last shah, brought a packed conservative conference hall to its feet multiple times Saturday, casting the ongoing U.S.-Israeli military campaign against Tehran as a historic opportunity, and positioning himself as the man to lead Iran after the Islamic Republic falls.
Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in the Dallas suburbs, Pahlavi delivered what amounted to a campaign speech for a country in the midst of a revolution. “Can you imagine Iran going from ‘Death to America’ to ‘God Bless America?'” he asked, drawing one of several standing ovations from the crowd.
The United States and Israel launched a sweeping air campaign against Iran on February 28, killing Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and many senior officials and targeting the country’s military infrastructure. Iran has responded with missile and drone attacks across the region, disrupting global energy markets and raising fears of a wider war.
Pahlavi urged Washington to hold the line. “Stay the course,” he told the audience, arguing that only the complete collapse of the Islamic Republic could bring lasting stability. “This regime in its entirety must go.”

Passover Past & Present: Jesus Celebrated Passover
Here are 4 Reasons Evangelicals Would Be Blessed To Do So Too

Tonight, upwards of 15 million Jews around the world, including some 8 million Israelis, will gather with family and friends to celebrate Passover.
Millions of Evangelical Christians – our family included – will also celebrate.Gentile Christians are not mandated to do so in the New Testament.
But I believe Evangelical families will be deeply blessed if they do.
Here are four reasons why.
First, Jesus celebrated Passover with His disciples in the First Century and we are His disciples today.
Throughout the Gospel accounts, we see Jesus remembering and celebrating year after year God’s rescue and redemption of the Jewish people, the nation of Israel, from slavery and cruel oppression in Egypt.
He even did so in the final days of His earthly life.
In Matthew chapter 26, we read this: “Now on the first day of the Feast of the Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying to Him, ‘Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?’ And He said, ‘Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, “The Teacher says, ‘My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples.’” So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover. When evening had come, He sat down with the twelve” (Matthew 26:17-20).
This story is shared also in Mark 14 and Luke 22.
Over and over again, God encourages His people to pass down biblical truths to the next generation. This is especially true of the Passover story. Read more (All Israel News) |

Abba, we give You praise because You have made the way for Jews and Gentiles alike to enter into salvation and Your Kingdom. Father God, You have always intended for the Jews to know who Jesus is. He is so present in the Passover meal, that as believers we need to share with our Jewish brothers and sisters how we so easily see Him. We ask You to take the veils from their eyes and the darkness from their minds as they celebrate Passover this year, let them be totally amazed as You show them Yourself within that meal. Draw Your kids to Your heart, let Your Kingdom explode across Israel and the US. We ask this in the name Yahweh M'Kaddesh, The Lord Who Sanctifies and Makes Holy, the God who makes it clear that He alone, not the law, can cleanse and make His people holy.

Trump Ally Tina Peters Handed Legal Win

An appeals court in Colorado granted Tina Peters, an ally of President Donald Trump, a win on Thursday, ruling she should be resentenced over a 2020 election fraud probe.
While judges on the Colorado Court of Appeals upheld Peters' conviction for tampering with voting machines, they said the judge who handed down her sentence should not have considered her continued promotion of election fraud conspiracies.
Peters is serving a 9-year prison sentence, which Trump has tried to pardon her for. Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser said he believed the sentence had been "fair and appropriate".
Newsweek reached out to the White House for comment via email Thursday afternoon.
Who Is Tina Peters?
Peters was the Mesa County Clerk in Colorado, and she has become a symbol for Trump allies who promote conspiracy theories about the 2020 election. Trump has publicly demanded her release, threatened “harsh measures” against Colorado and cut off federal funding to the state in response to her imprisonment.
Peters has remained defiant, insisting that her actions were motivated by what she believed was a duty to expose election wrongdoing. She has argued that the judge violated her First Amendment rights by punishing her for voicing claims about election fraud.
What Did Tina Peters Do?
She was convicted of multiple state crimes related to a 2021 plan in which she allowed an outside computer expert to access Mesa County’s election system without authorization. Images of the voting system’s hard drives—including photos and videos of confidential passwords—were later shared online and posted to a conservative website.
Prosecutors said Peters’ actions compromised election security and fueled misinformation. Peters has said she believed she had a duty as clerk to preserve election data.
She was convicted of three counts of attempting to influence a public servant and one count each of conspiracy to commit criminal impersonation, first‑degree official misconduct, violation of duty and failure to comply with the secretary of state’s requirements.
At sentencing, the judge called Peters a “charlatan” and said she posed an ongoing danger to the community by spreading false claims about voting and undermining confidence in democracy.
Peters’ lawyers argued that her sentence punished her for protected speech and violated the First Amendment.
Was Tina Peters Pardoned by Donald Trump?
Trump announced in December that he was granting Peters a full pardon, but any federal action does not overrule state-based convictions. The president has accused Democrats of prosecuting Peters and others who had "wanted Safe and Secure Elections", rather than serious, violent criminals. He has posted to social media that she is a patriot.

Tina is sitting in a Colorado prison for the 'crime' of demanding Honest Elections. What Happens Next
The appeals court sent Peters' case back to a lower court to issue a new sentence. She remains in a Colorado state prison.

Pam Bondi already fired as attorney general, Cabinet official teed up as replacement

President Donald Trump fired Attorney General Pam Bondi Wednesday, according to two sources familiar with the matter who spoke with Fox News Digital.
Bondi met with Trump in the Oval Office Wednesday night ahead of his speech to the nation on the war in Iran, according to two sources familiar with the meeting.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche will serve as interim attorney general, Fox News reported.
Trump is reportedly considering replacing Bondi with Environmental Protection Agency Director Lee Zeldin, according to the sources familiar with the matter. Trump held a meeting with Zeldin at the White House Tuesday to discuss wildfire and prevention, where talks of the transition also unfolded, according to an individual familiar with the meeting.
That source relayed to Fox News Digital that Zeldin would be a plausible replacement, adding that Trump could change his mind at any point.
The White House told Fox News that the pair still have a good relationship despite the ousting.
A Justice Department spokesperson denied the reporting when reached for comment.
"The AG was with (Trump) for the speech last night," the spokesperson added.
The ouster came the same day Bondi accompanied Trump to the U.S. Supreme Court Wednesday morning for oral arguments on the high-stakes birthright citizenship case.
Sources confirming to multiple outlets Zeldin's potential ascension to her former role comes as he prepares for an event with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Thursday afternoon to make an announcement on addressing rising instances of microplastics in drinking water.
Bondi's entire tenure at the DOJ has been riddled with public scrutiny, especially as it relates to her promise to release the entirety of the Jeffrey Epstein files. (Fox News)

2. Hezbollah fires missiles at central Israel on Passover eve - Israel National News
Hezbollah terrorists on Wednesday evening fired two surface-to-surface missiles from Lebanon towards central Israel.
The launches, which came as Israelis mark the start of the holiday of Passover, triggered sirens in Tel Aviv and the area, as well as south of that area, in Ashdod, Ashkelon and the Central Coastal Plain.
One of the missiles was successfully intercepted, and the second one landed in an open area. Magen David Adom said no reports of injuries were received. (Read more)

Sirens sounded repeatedly in central Israel Wednesday evening, surrounding the start of Passover, as Iran fired a major ballistic missile barrage and Hezbollah launched rockets from Lebanon, sending millions to bomb shelters and safe rooms as families across the country hosted their Seder meals.
The attacks continued into early Thursday morning, with Iranian ballistic missiles fired at central Israel, the Jerusalem area and the north, while Hezbollah rocket fire from Lebanon triggered sirens near Haifa.

Father God,
We come to You in prayer for this very complex case set before the Supreme Court concerning Birthright Citizenship. As President Trump attended, he listened to the arguments concerning the 14th Amendment citizenship clause which states that "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and the state thereof wherein they live." They also focused on a 1952 Federal law that independently guarantees birthright citizenship as they critiqued Trump's policy.
Lord, Trump needs a miracle to win this case. Security concerns were also discussed for the United States as many in foreign nations come to the United States to give birth so that the babies will get birthright citizenship. Not only do they qualify for citizenship but also every benefit that American citizens have, putting a burden on America's finances. Questions were also brought up concerning what would happen if the parents were illegal immigrants.
Father God, give the justices supernatural wisdom and discernment concerning this case, ruling with righteous judgment as they make a decision on this executive order that may be hard to interpret and enforce. Lord, there are no other countries that allow birthright citizenship. We pray that each justice will weigh the consequences of their decision as they cast their verdict in June. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Father God, our Creator, Savior and Healer, we are beyond dumb-founded at hearing this news regarding ‘gender destroying care’ coming from one of the former bastions of Bible-based-Christianity! We know this is not Your will and ask that You do whatever needs to be done to rectify these heinous lies and beliefs being touted by the Methodist church and some other denominations as well. For one, cause their lobbies in D.C. to fall flat with no effect.
May those members of the defiled church groups who recognize the truth regarding the issue of transgenderism, stand and be heard and counted. Guide their steps and words, and give church leaders ears to hear what You are saying to them directly as well as their constituents’ pleas. 3. NASA’s Artemis II Lifts Off on Historic Mission Around the Moon – The Epoch Times
Four astronauts embarked on a 10-day journey around the moon and back.
Humanity is on its way back to the moon.
NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman (Commander), Victor Glover (Pilot), and Christina Koch (Mission Specialist), and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen (Mission Specialist) successfully launched from Florida’s Kennedy Space Center at approximately 6:35 p.m on April 1 on their 10-day Artemis II mission around the moon and back.
This marked the first crewed flight of both NASA’s behemoth moon rocket, called the Space Launch System, and the Orion Crew Capsule. It will also be the first crewed test flight of the Orion’s service module, which was provided by the European Space Agency and contains power, environmental controls, and propulsion.
As the countdown expired, the rocket’s four core-stage engines and two solid rocket boosters were lit, lifting the four astronauts beyond their home planet with 8.8 million pounds of thrust—1 million pounds more than the Saturn V that came before it.

Father God, we thank You for placing Marco Rubio as the Secretary of State for the Trump administration. We thank You for his wisdom in addressing the difficult imbalance we now see between our own, amazing nation and that of the NATO Alliance. We ask that the various nations that make up the NATO Alliance would take heed to his warnings, and make the necessary adjustments in their own policies, so that the Western World would be governed in truth, and working together, would cause our enemies to stand down. Once again, O Lord, we do thank You for Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, and we ask that You would keep him and his household safe under the shelter of Your wing.

5. 4 Million Children Have Been Signed Up for Trump Accounts – Discern Report
American taxpayers have signed up over 4 million children to the tax-advantaged Trump Accounts, and more than 1 million of those accounts have elected to receive the $1,000 pilot contribution from the government, the IRS said in a March 31 statement.
“Contributions to Trump Accounts can be made starting July 4, 2026. All eligible children may receive deposits from parents, relatives, friends, employers, state governments, philanthropic organizations, and individuals, subject to an annual limit,” the IRS said.
The Trump Accounts, formally the Invest America accounts, were established under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act signed into law by President Donald Trump in July last year.
Every child under 18 who is a U.S. citizen and has a valid Social Security Number is eligible to open a Trump Account. In addition, any child born between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2028, can get an initial seed contribution of $1,000 from the government. Read more

Two of the most prominent nations identified in end-times Scripture are now moving in the same geopolitical frame. As the US and Israel engage Iran militarily, a parallel diplomatic track has emerged involving Turkey. Ezekiel 38:2, says, “set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.” These regions align with modern-day Turkey. Then in verse 5, “Persia,” modern Iran, is listed among those aligned in the future coalition. For these nations, historically rivals, to align, something must shift. What we are seeing now, with Iran under pressure and Turkey acting as intermediary, raises a serious question: Is Iran being positioned, even incrementally, toward the alignment of the end of days?
Recent reporting confirms that Turkey is serving as a backchannel intermediary between the Trump Administration and Iran, relaying messages alongside nations like Egypt and Pakistan. These are not formal negotiations, but indirect communications, the kind that often precede serious diplomatic movement. Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, reportedly have been in contact with both sides. This places Turkey in a strategic lane, one that allows it to influence tone, timing, and potential off-ramps. It is not controlling the process, but it is shaping access. LIFTOFF: Successful Artemis II Launch Sends Astronauts Into Deep Space

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration successfully launched four astronauts into deep space for the first time in more than 50 years.
Artemis II launched the crewed Orion spacecraft at 6:35 p.m. EST from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The crew will travel for 10 days, loop around the moon, and go farther from Earth than humans have ever gone before.
The mission aboard the Orion spacecraft is the second mission of the Artemis program, but the first with a manned crew. NASA says the program is critical to advancing a sustained human presence on the moon, sending humans to Mars, and beyond.
“Space is the final frontier. We have always been a nation of explorers, and this is what’s next!” Rep. Jim Baird, R-Ind., who serves on the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee, told The Daily Signal.

“In America’s 250th year, the Artemis II mission to the moon serves as a testament to American ingenuity and our ability to push the boundaries of what’s possible,” Baird said.
“This mission cannot be underestimated: It is a critical step toward a greater U.S. presence in space, on the moon, and missions to Mars ahead of our adversaries.
