US National Security at Risk if China Takes Over Taiwan
|

A special report released by The Heritage Foundation has laid out how U.S. national security could be impacted should China take over the self-governing democratic island of Taiwan.
Michael Cunningham, a research fellow in The Heritage Foundation's Asian Studies Center, authored the report titled, "The American Case for Taiwan." The report explains how the U.S. might not be able to remain neutral in the event of a war over Taiwan, noting that tens of thousands of U.S. citizens living on the island would be directly impacted.
Chinese leader Xi Jinping has repeatedly called for the "reunification" of mainland China with the sovereign nation of Taiwan, though the island was never ruled by the Chinese Communist Party.
"Unless most of them could be evacuated before the conflict started--an unlikely and Herculean task that historically has proven difficult in other conflict areas--a Chinese assault on the island would almost certainly result in a substantial number of American casualties given the proximity of the People's Liberation Army's likely targets to population centers," Cunningham writes.
Cunningham notes examples of when Americans were killed by foreign actors, including the Lusitania's sinking by Germany in 1915, the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor by Japan in 1941, and the terrorist attacks by al-Qaeda on Sept. 11, 2001, that resulted in the U.S. entry into both world wars and the "war on terrorism." Israel-Iran Standoff Threatens to Put American Troops Back in the Crosshairs, Experts Say
|

The standoff between Israel and Iran could threaten to put U.S. troops in an already chaotic Middle East at heightened risk, experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Israel launched targeted airstrikes on an Iranian diplomatic consulate in Damascus, Syria on Monday and killed several members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC), including a senior general of the Quds Force. Iran has vowed retaliation against Israel and went as far as to cast blame on the U.S. for the attacks, raising the specter of increased attacks by Iranian-backed terrorist groups against American and coalition forces throughout the Middle East, specifically in Iraq and Syria, defense experts and former U.S. officials told the DCNF.
This is the exact kind of thing that can produce an escalation cycle,” Michael DiMino, a senior fellow at Defense Priorities and former CIA officer, told the DCNF. “I do think that Iran is going to weigh their capabilities here.”
Since the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched counteroffensive operations in Gaza against Hamas — the Iranian-backed terrorist group that invaded Israel on Oct. 7 and killed over 1,200 civilians — Iran has called on its several Islamic terror proxy groups, including the Lebanon-based Hezbollah, the Yemen-based Houthis, and Islamic Resistance of Iraq to launch attacks against Israel and its allies in the Middle East. U.S. forces in the Middle East have sustained a number of these attacks, eventually resulting in the deaths of three American troops who were hit in a drone strike against the Tower 22 base in Jordan in January. Intelligence Experts Warn Europe is Leading the US to the Cusp of Nuclear Annihilation

“We are talking about nuclear war here, and it’s on full automatic, meaning that once this begins, it doesn’t stop until the world is ended,” Scott Ritter explained. (Scott Ritter is a former U.S. Marine Corps intelligence officer.)
A group of former American intelligence officers issued a statement last week warning that a planned deployment of French and Baltic state soldiers into Ukraine could initiate a chain of events quickly leading to the “nuclear annihilation” of the United States, Europe and Russia.
The March 24 public memo from Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS) addressed to the president of the United States is signed by 19 well-known experts such as Colonel Douglas Macgregor, Scott Ritter, Matthew Hoh, Ray McGovern and Col. Lawrence Wilkerson
It warns that the planned deployment of 2,000 French troops, being joined by some from the Baltic states, would be “purely symbolic” since they “would have zero survivability” in the “modern high-intensity conflict” happening in Ukraine today. These troops from NATO countries would furthermore be “‘lawful targets’ under the Law of War” and it is “highly likely that Russia would attack” any such “contingent in Ukraine and quickly destroy/degrade its combat viability.”
President Emmanuel Macron of France may then believe he could invoke Article 5 of the NATO Charter requiring NATO members, including the United States, to intervene, the experts explained. Such a response would likely involve aircraft operating from NATO countries against tactical targets inside Russia.
“Doctrinally, and by legal right, Russia’s response would be to launch retaliatory strikes also against targets in NATO countries,” the letter continues. “If NATO then attacks strategic targets inside Russia, at that point Russia’s nuclear doctrine takes over, and NATO decision-making centers would be hit with nuclear weapons. Europe needs to understand that France is leading it down a path of inevitable self-destruction,” the experts wrote. 4.8 magnitude earthquake strikes New Jersey, shaking buildings in surrounding states

People felt the earth shake and buildings move in the New York City area

East Coast residents felt the earth move Friday morning as a minor earthquake hit New Jersey and was felt in surrounding areas, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake measured at least 4.8 magnitude and struck near Lebanon, New Jersey, at 10:23 a.m., about 45 miles west of New York City and 50 miles north of Philadelphia, according to USGS. An estimate indicates the quake might have been felt by more than 42 million people in 14 states from Maine to North Carolina. More than 152,000 Americans reported feeling shaking to the USGS.
"Our region just experienced an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.7, with an epicenter near Readington in Hunterdon County," New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy said in a statement. "We have activated our State Emergency Operations Center. Please do not call 911 unless you have an actual emergency."
"A 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit New Jersey and was felt in parts of Pennsylvania," Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said. "My team and @PEMAHQ are actively monitoring the situation and in contact with counties on any damage. We will keep Pennsylvanians updated."
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul issued a similar statement and said her team "will update the public throughout the day." At a press conference, Hochul said she felt the earthquake in the state capital of Albany. (Read More)

"I want to thank you for your support. There's a long tradition of the American-Israeli alliance. It's always been necessary, but it's more necessary now in the face of the barbarism that we face, that threatens our entire civilization," Netanyahu stated.

2. ‘The IDF is at war’ – Combat units banned from leaving bases following killing of Iranian general - World Israel News
Soldiers in combat units will no longer be able to leave their bases and go on their regularly scheduled leaves, as Israel girds for a potential retaliatory attack from Iran after the assassination of a senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps general.
“In accordance with the situational assessment, it has been decided that leave will be temporarily paused for all IDF combat units,” the army said.
“The IDF is at war and the deployment of forces is under continuous assessment according to requirements.
Most combat soldiers periodically go on weekend leaves, typically once every few weeks. The complete halting of leave may indicate that Israel is gearing up for a major escalation in its ongoing proxy war with Iran. (Read more)

3. Israel Foils Terror Cell Planning to Kill National Security Minister With RPG - Algemeiner
Israeli security forces foiled what was described as terrorist infrastructure which planned to carry out attacks in Israel, particularly targeting a high-ranking government official, as well as other sensitive targets, according to an announcement on Thursday morning.
According to the announcement from the Shin Bet Internal Security Agency (ISA), a joint operation with Israel’s security forces exposed the terrorist infrastructure consisting of Arab Israelis and Palestinians from the West Bank.
Following an investigation, the ISA together with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the police arrested 11 suspects. Among them were seven Arab-Israelis, mostly from the southern Bedouin city of Rahat.
Bilal Nasasara, a resident of Rahat, was identified as heading the terror cell operating and recruiting others from within Israel. Another four resided also in Rahat, while the other two were residents of the north and center of the country. Akram Amer, a resident of Tulkarm, was identified as responsible for recruiting operatives in the West Bank.
Their targets included the Ben Gurion Airport, government buildings in Jerusalem, IDF bases and other secure facilities, as well as planning to assassinate Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. (i24 News) Read more

Relatives of Israelis being held captive by Hamas in Gaza on Wednesday called on the Israeli government to launch a military operation in Rafah to destroy Hamas and bring about the release of the hostages.

“We believe that the Israeli government is doing its best for us families of hostages. They want to release our loved ones. We trust them but we want to see the IDF defeat Hamas in Rafah,” added Mor, a co-founder of the Tikva Forum for Families of Hostages.

As we reported earlier, Joe Biden's latest failure to refill the Strategic Petroleum Reserve exposes how bad his policies are compared to those of former President Donald Trump. Biden drained the reserve, which now leaves us in a bad position if we are attacked or if we have an emergency. That shows he puts political interests ahead of the best interests of the country.
Another problem is how weak Biden is on foreign policy, and he also demonstrated that on Wednesday in a report on how he is dealing with the Houthis. 3. Is He Blackmailed? MTG Questions Speaker Johnson’s Complete Departure Over Abortion, Illegals, DOJ Funding – ZeroHedge
Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) suggested that House Speaker Mike Johnson is being "blackmailed" because of his "complete departure" from Republican concerns, saying the Louisiana Republican "has completely changed his character."
"Mike Johnson has completely changed his character in a matter of about five months after he has become speaker of the House," Greene told Tucker Carlson in a recent episode of Tucker Carlson Uncensored.
Carlson pointed to Johnson's meeting with Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelensky - after which Johnson said that the second congressional recess ends, "his number one priority at a moment when the U.S. is being invaded" is to " send that $60 billion to Ukraine, possibly as a loan."
According to Carlson, Johnson won't come on his show to explain, while Zelensky also refused to discuss his position:
They're not grateful now. So we sent a message to the speaker of the House and asked him to come on and explain why, when the majority of the Republicans he represents both the voters and members of Congress, opposes why he would join with Democrats to do the one thing that Americans don't think we should do, which is send another $60 billion to pay the pensions of Ukrainian bureaucrats and fund a doomed war. Why are you for that? And of course, he hasn't responded.

We pray that this group, although it is in the minority in their house of Congress, will be able to exert pressure against the agenda of the majority who are of a globalist and socialist mindset. We pray that those who are the most displeased with the leadership will have positive suggestions and will do work to bring about a better focus for the House than they have now. We pray that You would move on the majority party to bring a heart change to how they vote so that outrageous funding projects will fail and the money will be spent wisely and not on liberal ideations. The New Madrid earthquakes were the biggest earthquakes in American history. They occurred in the central Mississippi Valley, but were felt as far away as New York City, Boston, Montreal, and Washington D.C. President James Madison and his wife Dolly felt them in the White House.
Church bells rang in Boston. From December 16, 1811 through March of 1812 there were over 2,000 earthquakes in the central Midwest, and between 6,000-10,000 earthquakes in the Bootheel of Missouri where New Madrid is located near the junction of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers.In the known history of the world, no other earthquakes have lasted so long or produced so much evidence of damage as the New Madrid earthquakes. 5. Signs of the Times: Pestilences and Earthquakes – ProphecyNewsWatch
We are living in an era of endless disasters. Over the past several years, we have been hit with one thing after another, and the pace of events seems to have picked up steam in 2024.
Just think of all the things we have seen in recent days. There was the historic terror attack in Russia, then the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapsed, and then Israel's strike on a building right next to Iran's embassy in Damascus threatened to spark a major regional war.

Downtown Los Angeles has been likened to a “third world” area following the release of disturbing footage showcasing a homeless encampment, complete with open fires in the streets and sidewalks strewn with trash.
The alarming video, shared by Fox News reporter Bill Melugin on X, reveals numerous homeless individuals gathered on filthy sidewalks at the intersection of San Pedro Street and 6th Street in LA’s Skid Row neighborhood. Some are shown near open fires on the street, mere steps away from the Midnight Mission, a $17 million facility catering to the homeless.
Billionaire Elon Musk, known for his commentary on California’s homelessness crisis, simply reacted with “wow” upon viewing the footage. Commenters on X expressed astonishment, with one stating, “Gavin Newsom’s California may be the wealthiest state, but its cities resemble those of Third World nations,” while another remarked, “If you didn’t tell us this was LA, we would think this was a city in a third-world country!” (Read more)

Over 180 Chinese illegal aliens were caught at the San Diego sector of the border on Tuesday per CBP data. Since October 1st, there have been 22,000 Chinese illegal aliens caught by the border patrol.
As Bill Melugin reminds us, “apprehended doesn’t mean deported.”
In February a Chinese illegal alien, who crossed the border in the San Diego sector, admitted he was here to “take the money.”
California’s southern border is wide open for illegals to pass through. A major portion of them are in Jacumba (east San Diego county), and are exploiting a breach in the border wall. In February, that sector saw an invasion from 73 different countries in a one-week time span.
What’s even more alarming are illegals that are on the terror watchlist. With millions of people pouring in with zero accountability, the US is in great danger of potential terrorist attacks. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray for the Chinese people who have illegally crossed into the USA. May all 22,000+ of them be arrested and face charges based on our laws already in place for the treatment of illegal aliens. Lord we ask that, in Your mercy for the USA, the Chinese and all other illegals of various nationalities be deported or properly sentenced for their criminal behavior. If there are to be exceptions, we ask that Your mighty hand be upon them; bring them into the plans that You have for them, and may each fulfill their God-given destiny.
We thank You for the powerful underground church in China. We plead Your protection upon each and every member; use them powerfully for Your glory. May returned illegals find their places under Your wing as they experience divine appointments with Your people in China.
Lord, until our nation returns to a level of sanity, we ask Your supernatural protection of our citizens and infrastructure from any evil plan or product brought into this country by illegals. May there be many testimonies of Your deliverance from evil across our land. We pray also for very secure borders as walls are built and maintained. Send Your angelic reinforcements to back up our Border Patrols.

8. Orthodox Union Delivers 100,000 Letters to White House -JNS
Orthodox Union leaders delivered 100,000 letters to the White House on Wednesday, urging U.S. President Joe Biden to continue supporting Israel, demanding the release of hostages whom Hamas holds in Gaza and combating antisemitism domestically.
The letters were the first batch of more than 180,000 that the OU has collected from synagogues across the country since Thursday, marking 180 days that the hostages have been in captivity.Rabbi Moshe Hauer, executive vice president of the OU, told JNS that the best way to convey the American Jewish community’s intense feelings was to deliver the letters to the White House physically.
“Something which would just disappear, that will just be there going over the cyber wires, would simply not convey that passion,” Hauer said. (Read more)

We pray that members of all synagogues and Christian churches who love Israel follow suit, corporately or as individuals, in making their demands known to the Biden Administration. There has been a severe backlash from Joe Biden’s declaration of Transgender Visibility Day on Resurrection Sunday as well there should be. But this blasphemous act wasn’t just on Joe—much of the entire Democratic Party leadership joined in. They bear responsibility, too. But now that Christian America is pushing back, Joe is retreating, saying that we are “misinformed” and that he didn’t do it. So how many voting Americans are just going to believe that this most offensive act is “misinformation”? He and his Democratic Party comrades have knowingly and willfully demeaned the most holy act of mankind—the death and resurrection of Christ, which provides the gift of eternal salvation to those who believe.
Joe even went so far as to ban “religious” Easter eggs at the annual White House Easter Egg Hunt. This is not just happening by chance. Biden and his party are against Judeo-Christian religion and they are taking every opportunity to demonstrate it. On Good Friday, Biden issued a proclamation that in part said, “I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility.” In the following hours, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Vice President Kamala Harris both joined Biden posting on social media their comments in favor of Transgender Visibility Day on Resurrection Sunday. - Abba, we thank you for the courage of a South African Parliament member, Marie Sukers, who stood up and spoke the truth concerning the horrific things done to your people and land by Hamas. We thank you for her apology for South Africa's not coming to stand with Israel, for not bringing aid when your people needed it, for isolating and marginalizing Jews in their own nation.
Lord, we ask for this spirit of repentance to fall on the minds and hearts of every nation, we ask you to open eyes and hearts to see the pain of being isolated, marginalized, beaten, raped and killed, for being who you are. Jesus, we ask for your justice to be done, that each person in Hamas be made to face you for what they have done. We ask that healing of minds, hearts, spirits, emotions and bodies flow unhindered through your land, touching your people. SOLAR ECLIPSE AND 40 DAYS OF PRAYER!

April 8th - CALL TO PRAYER!
If you live in Texas, it is hard to miss the buzz about the upcoming Solar Eclipse on April 8th. Schools across the area are closing on April 8th to commemorate the special event. Texas Counties such as Kerr, Belton, Bell, Travis, Bosque, Kerrville, Kaufman and more are declaring states of emergency in anticipation of tourists coming from around the globe to witness the solar eclipse. Special glasses are being sold and watch parties are being planned. In the midst of all this, a call is going out to the church to pray. There are many who are assigning prophetic significance to this event; in light of that, here are some of the facts:
- Throughout Scripture God reveals He uses the sun, moon and stars to communicate with us, marking signs and seasons (Genesis 1:14, Luke 21:25, Acts 2:17-21).
- The path of the eclipse will pass over six States and 1 Province in Canada with cities named Nineveh (Texas, Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and Nova Scotia). Two of the cities named Nineveh are in the direct path of the eclipse, and so is the city of Jonah, Texas.
- At the time of this eclipse, it will take place under the constellation, Cetus, which is the whale constellation.
- The "Devil’s Comet” officially known as Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks will be in our galaxy and visible. This last happened in 1954.
- Biblical eclipses can mark times of judgement, as occurred with Nineveh. In the 19th century, ancient tablets were discovered that describe the Bur-Sagale eclipse; the totality of this eclipse landed directly over Nineveh while Jonah was there preaching the 40-day warning of the coming destruction. Because of this, the people realized this was a sign from God indicating that what Jonah was saying was true. They repented and God spared their nation.

Comet 3 Times Size of Everest Returns to Sun After 71 Years—to Converge With Total Solar Eclipse

A comet returning after seven decades and putting on a spectacular show in our solar system is expected to soon appear at the highly-anticipated April total solar eclipse over North America.
It took 71 years—but Comet P12/Pons-Brooks has finally returned to our inner solar system after traversing its gargantuan elliptical orbit around the sun. The last time it reached perihelion (its point closest to the sun) was in May 1954, the same year Elvis Presley recorded his second demo at Sun Studios in Memphis.
It must have been a cold and lonely journey for the comet. But in 2020, astronomers finally reacquired visual contact with P12/Pons-Brooks. And as it headed down the last leg toward the sun, its visage was only enhanced.
Essentially a conglomeration of frozen gas and space dust leftover from the formation of the solar system ages ago, comets have a dense, cold nucleus that often lies dormant. When they near the sun, however, solar radiation causes dramatic outbursts in them as frozen gas sublimates, forming often-spectacular clouds of debris around them called coma. Read More

CA Redwoods to Be First National Park Co-Managed
with a Native American Tribe That Used to Own it

The Yurok will be the first Tribal nation to co-manage land with the National Park Service under a historic memorandum of understanding signed on Tuesday by the tribe, Redwood national and state parks, and the non-profit Save the Redwoods League, according to news reports. The Yurok tribe has seen a wave of successes in recent years, successfully campaigning for the removal of a series of dams on the Klamath River, where salmon once ran up to their territory, and with the signing of a new memorandum of understanding, the Yurok are set to reclaim more of what was theirs. Save the Redwoods League bought a property containing these remarkable trees in 2013, and began working with the tribe to restore it, planting 50,000 native plants in the process. The location was within lands the Yurok once owned but were taken during the Gold Rush period.
Centuries passed, and by the time it was purchased it had been used as a lumber operation for 50 years, and the nearby Prairie Creek where the Yurok once harvested salmon had been buried. Currently located on the fringe of Redwoods National and State Parks which receive over 1 million visitors every year and is a UNESCO Natural Heritage Site, the property has been renamed ‘O Rew, a Yurok word for the area. “Today we acknowledge and celebrate the opportunity to return Indigenous guardianship to ‘O Rew and reimagine how millions of visitors from around the world experience the redwoods,” said Sam Hodder, president and CEO of Save the Redwoods League. Having restored Prarie Creek and filled it with chinook and coho salmon, red-legged frogs, northwestern salamanders, waterfowl, and other species, the tribe has said they will build a traditional village site to showcase their culture, including redwood-plank huts, a sweat house, and a museum to contain many of the tribal artifacts they’ve recovered from museum collections.
