Sentenced to Death for Following Jesus, She Now Believes Iran's Spiritual Chains Are Breaking
As Israeli and U.S. military strikes decimate Iran's Islamic regime and its nuclear capabilities, an Iranian woman who was jailed and sentenced to die on apostasy charges believes her countrymen will soon throw off their forced Muslim identities, embrace Christianity, and spark a spiritual awakening throughout the Middle East. A Christian house church leader in Iran until her imprisonment by the brutal Islamist regime in 2009, Maryam Rostampour Keller predicts her former homeland — she is a U.S. citizen today — will be freed with the fall of the Islamic Republic's fanatical, religious leaders.

During four years of ministry, evangelism, and Bible distribution to fellow Iranians who dreamed about and had visions of Jesus Christ, Rostampour Keller said she had only positive experiences with people open to spiritual truths and personal connections to God. "That's why I think our responsibility as the Body of Christ to stand with them in prayer is critical these days," Rostampour Keller said during a recent national prayer call for Iran.

She believes the regime's expected fall is only a starting point for a spiritual awakening in Iran and beyond. Rostampour Keller shared what she described as an impression from God showing her that Iran is ripe for spiritual harvest by Christian laborers. "After the regime falls, we need a lot of Christians ready and prepared to go to Iran and share Jesus with people," Rostampour Keller said.

Many house-church Christians and secular Iranians inside and outside the country hope the exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi returns to lead Iran because they consider him trustworthy. "I feel like he (Pahlavi) needs people to pray a special anointing from God for him," said Rostampour Keller, who doesn't know if he is a person of faith. The current battle for Iran is between the forces of good and evil – a spiritual war – that ought to stir the global church to intercession for the future of ancient Persia. Father we celebrate encouraging words from an Iranian Christian, declaring and believing God, for spiritual breakthrough and chains being broken off the nation of Iran! We stand in agreement, and pray only Your Will be done, as the next leader in Iran is chosen. Strengthen our brothers and sisters who have suffered much. We pray shalom and perseverance as they witness the Lord's love and promised protection. Prepare hearts of those who do not yet know Abba, and cause an abundant spiritual harvest of salvations in Jesus Christ! By the powerful Blood of Yeshua, we pray, Amen.

Trump declares Iran cease-fire deal could lead to ‘Golden Age of the Middle East,’ boasts ‘big money will be made’

President Trump expressed optimism Wednesday that the Iran war cease-fire agreement will usher in a “Golden Age” in the Middle East.

“A big day for World Peace!” Trump wrote on Truth Social following the two-week cease-fire announcement. “Iran wants it to happen, they’ve had enough! Likewise, so has everyone else!”

The commander-in-chief said the US “will be helping with the traffic buildup in the Strait of Hormuz” and “loading up with supplies of all kinds, just ‘hangin’ around’ in order to make sure that everything goes well.”

“Just like we are experiencing in the US, this could be the Golden Age of the Middle East!!!” Trump declared.

Trump indicated he felt “confident” that the reopening of the key waterway, through which 20% of the world’s oil passes daily, would go well. “There will be lots of positive action! Big money will be made. Iran can start the reconstruction process,” he said. “Just like we are experiencing in the US, this could be the Golden Age of the Middle East!!!”

Trump branded Operation Epic Fury a “total and complete victory” — more than a month after the first US strikes in a joint operation alongside Israeli forces on Feb. 28. “100 percent,” he told Agence France-Presse. “No question about it.”

Trump didn’t rule out strikes on power plants if the cease-fire collapsed. “You’re going to have to see,” he said when pressed. (New York Post) Read more here.

Abba, thank You for the ceasefire between the US, Iran and Israel.  There are, as usual, mixed communications on what this ceasefire does and does not contain.  We ask You to silence "misunderstandings and lies", bring forth Your truth and intentions as the bottomline of what the world needs to expect from all involved.  Father God, we ask You to speak to Your son, Donald, give him vision of what is not seen, understanding of what he does not know and the wisdom to know how to respond to both.  We ask that the satanic government in Iran be brought down to the place that it will accept all requirements that address nuclear development, forever.  Jesus, we ask You to speak to the hearts of all NATO leadership, show them Your vision of what they are responsible for as a member of NATO, taking their share of global security.  We ask this in the name El Shaddia, God Almighty, the God who has ultimate power over all things.

"His wisdom is profound, his power is vast.
Who has resisted him and come out unscathed."

Global markets rally, oil drops below $100 after US-Iran ceasefire

Global markets rallied on Wednesday, while oil prices fell below the $100 line, after the ceasefire announcement between the United States, Israel, and Iran.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) barrel of oil is trading 16% lower than on Tuesday; the Brent barrel is trading 15% lower, while crude oil on the Tokyo exchange is selling 1,3% below its level yesterday, according to data shared by Bloomberg.

Natural gas contracts traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange have also been falling, with prices 5% lower than on Tuesday.

In contrast, the S&P 500 opened on Wednesday 0,1% up and completely recovered from the fall it had on Tuesday after US President Donald Trump said the US would "destroy an entire civilization if there was no agreement with Iran."

The same situation was observed in the NASDAQ 100 index, which also opened 0,1% higher after the two-week ceasefire agreement. (Jerusalem Post) Read more here.

Abba, we give You praise and thanks that the stock exchanges across the globe are up based on the ceasefire between Iran, the US and Israel.  We ask that this agreement include all things that You know need to be included, that Your perfect will be the framework of all that was agreed upon. We ask that the price of oil continue to fall, bring gasoline prices back down to an affordable price per gallon,  Holy Spirit, we ask You to dispatch Your angel armies out to pour peace and hope back into hearts around the world.  We decree and declare that any fear being driven by this war is null and void, that the voice of fear is driven out of people's minds and hearts and replaced with the truth of Jesus' love and His desire to make provision as needed for His kids.  We thank You that You are a God of the impossible, that nothing is impossible for You,  We ask this in the name Jehovah Jireh, The Lord Will Provide.

"And God will generously provide all you need.  Then
you will always have everything you need and
plenty left over to share with others."

Zohran Mamdani backs down on cornerstone campaign promise of free NYC buses

Slam the brakes.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani conceded he won’t be able to deliver his promise of free buses this year — making a U-turn on one of the cornerstones of his campaign.

Mamdani’s highly-touted demands for free MTA buses have fallen by the wayside in both state and city budget proposals.

The democratic socialist mayor notably did not include the pitch in his $127 billion budget proposal, and it has also failed to garner traction in Albany as legislators hash out the state spending plan with Gov. Kathy Hochul.

Hizzoner is now admitting he’s turning his focus on restarting his fare-free bus pilot program, Politico reported — confirming New Yorkers will have to wait for the citywide no-cost transport he promised on the campaign trail.

“Both legislative houses included language within their one-house budget proposals in support of bringing back a free bus pilot program,” Mamdani said. “That is something that we are encouraged by, and it continues to be part of budget negotiations.”

Still, he insisted he was still “absolutely committed to making buses fast and free” — eventually. “We’re encouraged by the conversations we’re having with the governor and legislative leaders to take action on that in 2026 as a first step,” he said. (New York Post)

Abba, New York City elected a mayor who knows nothing about running a city of this size. He is a Muslim who believes that a socialist form of government can be sustained by taxing the very rich to make life better for those less fortunate.  Mayor Mamdani promised free bus service in NYC, but has finally realized the size of investment required to make that happen, and NYC doesn't have the funds available.  Father God, we ask that You continue to make the financial realities clear to him regarding all the promises he made that NYC is not able to afford.  We ask that through these circumstances where he cannot keep his promises, You will show him that Allah isn't able to provide, but You are.  We ask You to shut doors that need to be shut and open doors that need to be open.  Give him eyes to see Your hand making a way where there is no way, reveal Yourself to him as the loving father that You are.  Show him the truth, open his heart to be willing to know the truth.   We ask this in the name El Roi, The God Who Sees everything.

"I have seen that fools may be successful for the
moment, but then comes sudden disaster."

Iran’s 10-point plan for ending war calls for ‘acceptance’ of uranium enrichment, removing all US sanctions

Tehran says its 10-point plan for securing an end to the war with the United States would require Washington to accept its uranium enrichment program and the lifting of all sanctions.

Claiming victory, the Islamic Republic says in a statement released alongside a list of the 10 points published by state media, that the plan would require “continued Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz, acceptance of enrichment, lifting of all primary and secondary sanctions.”

Other key demands in the blueprint, offered through mediators in Pakistan, include US military withdrawal from the Middle East, an end to attacks on Iran and its allies, the release of frozen Iranian assets and a UN Security Council resolution making any deal binding.

“It is to be noted that the adoption of such a resolution shall render all these agreements binding under international law and shall constitute a significant diplomatic victory for the Iranian nation,” the country’s Supreme National Security Council says in a statement.

Crucially, the plan also calls for expanded Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz, a conduit for around a fifth of the world’s oil that has been effectively blocked to maritime traffic since the start of the five-week conflict.

The announcement comes after Pakistan made a last-minute proposal to avert massive US attacks on Iran, with Trump warning a “whole civilization will die tonight” unless a deal was agreed.

But the US president announced around 90 minutes before his deadline that Washington had received the plan and that it looked like a “workable basis on which to negotiate.” (Times of Israel) Read more here.

Abba, this story seems to be kind of strange based on what Iran is saying about their 10-point plan and what President Trump has already defined as the "must haves" to make this deal actually work.  We ask You to bring clarity as to what is being negotiated and what is not,  We ask You to download to Your intercessors exactly what needs to be addressed in prayer and what needs to be put into decrees and declarations so our prayers will align with Your heart for this treaty.

We ask Holy Spirit to pour out the Fear of the Lord into the hearts of all who are negotiating this document, let Your presence be felt in each meeting by each person, give our US leadership the awareness of Your presence but also remind each of what Your perfect will is to end this war.  Jesus, I ask that this entire process will show forth Your glory.  We ask this in the name Jehovah Shalom, God Our Peace.

"Deceit fills hearts that are plotting evil;
joy fills hearts that are planning peace."

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Netanyahu: Ceasefire is temporary, Israel ready to resume war
- Israel National News

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the nation on Wednesday regarding the ceasefire with Iran.

Netanyahu opened by thanking the citizens of Israel, "When you proved resilience and sat in the protected rooms and shelters, together, we achieved incredible achievements; our soldiers on the front, and you at the rear."

According to the Prime Minister, "The state of Israel has achieved tremendous achievements, achievements which until not long ago seemed totally imaginary. Iran is weaker than ever; Israel is stronger than ever. That is the bottom line of the campaign until this moment." (Read more)

2. Opposition leader Lapid calls the ceasefire with Iran a 'political disaster'
- i24 News

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the ceasefire agreement reached between the United States and Iran, calling it a “political disaster” and directly blaming Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In a post on X, Lapid said the agreement sidelined Israel from critical decisions affecting its national security. “Never in our entire history have we experienced such a diplomatic disaster,” he wrote, adding that “Israel wasn’t even at the table when decisions were made regarding the core of our security.”

Lapid accused Netanyahu of failing to translate military achievements into strategic gains, despite praising the performance of the Israeli military and the resilience of the public during the conflict. “The army has accomplished everything that was asked of it, and the citizens have shown remarkable strength,” he said. 3. Ceasefire leaves Hezbollah in a strategic trap - Israel Hayom

The temporary ceasefire between the Iranian regime, Israel and the US has placed Hezbollah in a strategic bind. At the start of the war, Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem set out the goal of returning to the situation that existed on Oct. 6, 2023. In his speeches, he laid out three central demands: an end to the frequent strikes in Lebanon, an Israeli military withdrawal and the return of his support base to its villages in the country's south.

If Hezbollah is bound by Iran's agreement, it will be forced to back away from those conditions. But if the terrorist organization is not bound by the agreement, it will be left to face Israel on its own. Israel's attention would then shift squarely onto Hezbollah, with all that implies. At best, Qassem would get a "support front" from the Houthis in Yemen in the form of occasional launches.

At the same time, the agreement could deepen Gulf distrust of the US. Once again, the free world has shown that it has no orderly solution to the Iranian threat. Rather than pursuing the downfall of the ayatollahs' regime, the Trump administration blinked first. It began with the strange immunity granted to senior politicians in Tehran. The argument was that "someone had to be kept alive to talk to." (Read more)

4. IDF launches largest strike on Hezbollah since start of ‘Roaring Lion’ - JNS

The Israel Defense Forces on Wednesday carried out its largest coordinated strikes against Hezbollah terror targets in Lebanon since the start of “Operation Roaring Lion,” hitting about 100 sites across multiple areas simultaneously within 10 minutes.

The large-scale wave of attacks targeted Hezbollah headquarters, military infrastructure and command-and-control centers in Beirut, the Beqaa Valley and Southern Lebanon, according to the Israeli army.

The targets included intelligence command centers and central headquarters used to direct and plan attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians; infrastructure tied to Hezbollah’s rocket and naval units; and assets belonging to the Radwan Force and the Aerial (127) Unit. (Read more

5. Athens and Jerusalem ink $750 million defense deal - JNS

Israel and Greece signed a defense deal on Monday valued at about $750 million (€650 million) for the supply of advanced rocket artillery systems to the Hellenic Armed Forces, marking a significant expansion of military cooperation between the nations.

The agreement, signed at Greece’s Ministry of National Defense in Athens, covers the procurement of the Precise & Universal Launching System (PULS), manufactured by Israel’s Elbit Systems. The agreement includes launchers, a range of precision-guided and training munitions, and loitering munitions, the Israeli Defense Ministry said.

Elbit Systems will act as the prime contractor, with the contract set to be implemented over four years, followed by a 10-year sustainment and support period. The agreement will also lead to industrial cooperation, including through the involvement of Greek defense firms in the production of system components. (Read more

1. George Conway Says Dems Will Use Senate Majority to Rig Impeachment Process, Remove Trump and Vance - Breitbart

Far-left Democrat George Conway is eager to impeach and remove both President Trump and Vice President Vance, even if it means rigging the U.S. Senate’s 250-year-old impeachment process.

Here’s the worst family man in America not named Bryon Noem:
“I do think we’re going to have a Democratic Senate. I don’t know whether it’ll be 52, 53, 54, maybe even more. And when you have control of the Senate in that way, you can set the rules,” Conway explained. “And the rules this time should provide for a real trial. Not these show arguments, these statements on the floor by managers where politicians are giving speeches — but where you put on live witnesses, and you can show that they’re lying and you can cross-examine them, and they have to answer the questions.” (Read more)
Lord God, we cover all of these evil plots, schemes, and plans of the enemy that they will not come to fruition in Jesus Christ 's name. We cast these threats to the ground and put them under the blood of Jesus that they will have no effect. And we thank you, Lord for your grace and your mercy that is following this administration and our nation and that you will help us always, in Jesus' name, amen.

“Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.”  (Psalm 37:7)

2. Canada hate bill could be ‘weaponized’ against people of faith, Conservative lawmaker warns - Fox News

A Canadian hate speech bill is drawing backlash from critics who warn it could chill religious speech and expose some people to prosecution for quoting the Bible.

Bill C-9, the Combatting Hate Act, introduced by Canadian Liberal Justice Minister Sean Fraser, passed the House of Commons on March 25 and now heads to the Senate. The measure would expand Canada’s hate speech laws, create a new hate-crime offense and add penalties for intimidating or blocking people from accessing houses of worship, cultural spaces, schools, senior residences and cemeteries.

The sharpest criticism of the bill focuses on its repeal of a long-standing defense for religious speech in some criminal hate speech cases.
Christian and Muslim groups say the change could chill sermons, religious debate and other faith-based expression, while the Liberal government and some Jewish advocacy groups say the bill is aimed at combating antisemitism, not criminalizing religion. (Read more)

Father God, we pray that this bill would not come to pass and its ideas would not impact our nation. Lord, awaken Your Church and our leaders to the dangers facing our nation. Give us eyes to see, ears to hear, and resolve to defend liberty at every turn. Strengthen the lawmakers and citizens on the front lines. May Your Word prevail over every competing voice.

“And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15)

3. Education Department’s Historic Move and Restructuring - Million Voices

The Department of Education is facing a historic transition under the current administration. President Donald Trump has directed a major restructuring of the federal education system. This sweeping plan involves downsizing the agency’s physical footprint and shifting its core responsibilities.

For decades, the federal government has held significant influence over local schooling. Now, that dynamic is fundamentally changing in a way we have not seen in modern history. The administration aims to return more educational authority directly to state and local governments.

These decisions have sparked passionate conversations across the entire political spectrum. Some leaders praise the move as a victory for local communities and parents. Others express deep concern about the future of federal funding and civil rights enforcement. (Read more)

Lord God, we pray that this shift towards local control in education will bring about positive change and transform the way our children are taught. May it ignite a passion for learning within each child, as they are given the freedom to explore and discover their unique gifts and talents. Let this nation and your people hold fast to what is true and good and reject what is evil in every area of our lives, in Jesus' name, amen.

“…Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.” (Romans 12:9)

4. Colorado’s Conversion Therapy Ban Overturned by SCOTUS - Million Voices

The Supreme Court just delivered a massive victory for free speech and religious freedom in America. In a powerful 8-1 decision, the justices ruled against a Colorado law that banned faith-based counseling. This ruling protects counselors who want to help children using biblical principles and compassionate conversation.

For years, states have tried to silence Christian voices under the guise of healthcare regulation. As highlighted by SCOTUSblog’s detailed analysis, this recent Supreme Court ruling proves that our constitutional rights cannot be easily erased by activist politicians.

The case centers around a Christian counselor named Kaley Chiles from Colorado. She simply wanted to provide voluntary talk therapy to clients seeking help with their gender identity. However, a 2019 state law threatened to strip her license and fine her thousands of dollars. (Read more)

We thank you for this win Lord! We pray that counselors, pastors, and believers will use this moment to boldly serve those in need, sharing faith-based wisdom without fear. We ask you, God, to strengthen our courts, uphold justice, and protect the freedom to follow biblical truth in every state across the nation.

“And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness.” (Acts 4:29)

5. Court Backs Trump on Immigration Detention Policies - Million Voices

Two distinct appellate courts have now issued rulings that alter enforcement measures. These decisions address both the detention of undocumented immigrants and the process of deportation. Let us explore what these legal outcomes mean for the country.

The Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals recently delivered a significant legal decision. The court ruled that the government can detain certain immigrants without offering a bond hearing. This ruling overturned a previous lower court decision from Minnesota.

The case centered around Joaquin Herrera Avila, a Mexican national arrested in Minneapolis. Avila was detained by the Department of Homeland Security without bond. A lower court initially granted his petition for an immediate hearing. (Read more)

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your guidance and wisdom. Grant us the strength to uphold justice and protect the values that honor You. Help us to act with integrity and compassion, ensuring that our decisions reflect Your love and righteousness. May Your hand guide our leaders to pursue policies that cherish both freedom and humanity. Amen.

“For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, How blessed is the man who trusts in You!” (Psalm 84:11-12)
6. SC Leaders Urge Statewide Rededication to God - Million Voices

Faith is the cornerstone of a healthy and thriving society. Recently, state leaders made a bold statement by passing a historic South Carolina resolution. This measure officially calls for a voluntary rededication to God across the entire state.

Our nation was founded on guiding truths that recognize the sovereignty of the Almighty. The recent action by the state legislature honors that profound historical legacy. It reminds us that our true strength comes from above, not from the halls of government.

The resolution coincides with the highly anticipated Charleston Crusade 2026. This massive evangelical gathering is set to draw thousands of believers to seek spiritual renewal. It is a powerful reminder that prayer and repentance can transform our communities. (Read more)

Lord God, help us have the wisdom to build bridges where differences arise and the courage to champion unity and kindness in all that we do. Help us to show your love, truth, and life to all differing belief systems that we may come in contact with every day. Help everyone come to the realization that you are the way the truth in the life. In Jesus name, amen.

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”  (Acts 4:12)

Stupidocrisy: Two Stories One Iran War

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, April 8, 2026

The Iran war is unfolding in real time, and Americans are being fed two very different narratives. The Trump administration is projecting strength, pointing to significant damage inflicted on Iran’s military infrastructure. Meanwhile, much of the media and leading Democrats are casting doubt on nearly every claim, emphasizing uncertainty, minimizing battlefield gains, and questioning strategy at every turn. Somewhere between those competing voices sits the truth. Iran has taken serious hits. Intelligence assessments suggest meaningful portions of its missile capability have been destroyed or disrupted. A wounded regime can still strike, and Iran has proven it still has enough capability to keep firing and keep threatening.

That reality explains the contradiction people are wrestling with. How can Iran be described as “decimated” and still launch missiles? Because modern warfare is not about total annihilation in one sweep. Iran has spent decades preparing for this moment, building redundancy into its system. Underground facilities, mobile launchers, hidden stockpiles, and proxy networks were designed to survive precisely this kind of sustained assault. Even if a large percentage of its arsenal is destroyed, what remains can still create chaos. That does not mean the strategy is failing. It means the strategy is working through layers. The mistake would be expecting instant, clean outcomes in a fight against a regime that has made survival an art form. Read More

Gulf countries scramble to intercept missiles hours into U.S.-Iran ceasefire agreement
Many Middle Eastern countries reported incoming missiles and drones from Iran on Wednesday, triggering air defenses across the Gulf within hours of a newly announced two-week ceasefire between Washington and Tehran.

The U.S. and Iran agreed to the temporary truce just before U.S. President Donald Trump’s deadline to launch massive attacks if no deal was reached. The ceasefire, if it holds, would open a two-week negotiating window with U.S. and Iranian delegations expected to meet in Islamabad on Friday.

The ceasefire, brokered by Pakistan, was contingent on the “complete, immediate, and safe opening” of the Strait of Hormuz, Trump said. Iranian officials said in a statement on Wednesday that “if attacks against Iran are halted, our Powerful Armed Forces will cease their defensive operations.” Tehran added that safe passage through the strait would be possible through coordination with its armed forces and with “due consideration of technical limitations” — caveats that may give Iran some room to define compliance on its own terms.

Despite the reprieve, missiles were still launched from Iran towards Israel and several Gulf states. The Israeli military said it had identified ballistic missile attacks from Iran early Wednesday, with early warnings issued in central and northern parts of the country.

The United Arab Emirates said its air defense systems were intercepting missiles and drones and urged the public to remain in safe places. “The sounds heard in scattered areas of the country are the result of the UAE air defense systems intercepting ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones,” the ministry said.

Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense organization also issued early warnings of “potential danger” across the country, including Riyadh. Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar also issued alerts or activated defenses as threats emerged across the region. (CNBC) Read more here.
Abba, we thank You for the ceasefire between Iran, the US and Israel.  We ask Father God to intervene in the missile and drone attacks against Gulf Countries, please provide protection for the people and businesses that are at risk.  Holy Spirit, we ask You to send out Your Warrior angels to pour The Fear of The Lord into the hearts of all Iranian leadership, give them all eyes to see what You see, let their future come into view, let that be all that is needed to end the attacks.  We ask this in the mighty, powerful name of Jesus.

"The fear of the Lord is the foundation of
true knowledge, but fools despise discipline."

China and Russia veto UN resolution on protecting Hormuz shipping
China and Russia block resolution despite watered-down language; US condemns move as backing Iran; vote comes as Tehran keeps Strait of Hormuz restricted and Trump warns of major escalation over global shipping and energy supplies
China and Russia on Tuesday vetoed a U.N. resolution encouraging states to coordinate efforts to protect commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, calling the measure biased against Iran, while Washington’s ambassador urged “responsible nations” to join the United States in securing the waterway.

The 15-member Security Council voted 11 in favor of the resolution, presented by Bahrain, with two against — China and Russia — and two abstentions.

“The draft resolution has not been adopted, owing to the negative vote of a permanent member of the Council,” Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani said.

US ambassador condemns the vetoes

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz condemned the Russian and Chinese vetoes, calling them “a new low,” as Iran’s closure of the strait disrupts the delivery of medical aid and supplies to humanitarian crises in Congo, Sudan and Gaza.
“No one should tolerate that. They are holding the global economy at gunpoint. But today, Russia and China did tolerate it. They sided with a regime that seeks to intimidate the Gulf into submission, even as it brutalizes its own people,” Waltz said.

He added that Iran could choose “to reopen the Strait, to seek peace and to make amends.” “Until then and afterwards, we call on responsible nations to join us in securing the Strait of Hormuz, protecting it, ensuring that it remains open to lawful commerce, humanitarian goods and the free movement of the world’s goods,” he said.

France also condemned the vetoes.“The aim was to encourage strictly defensive measures to provide security and safety for the Strait without escalating the situation,” France’s U.N. ambassador Jerome Bonnafont said.

Abba, the US needs Your help.  The UN proposed resolution to keep the Hormuz shipping lanes open was vetoed by Russia and China but this narrow passage is very important to commerce around the entire world.  We ask Father God to intervene in getting this waterway opened.  We ask for Your perfect will to be done, for Your favor in convincing leadership in the UN to bring it up for another vote that will pass under Your guidance and direction, in Jesus' Name.

Iran fires repeatedly at Israel after Trump extends ultimatum to Tehran
Non-stop sirens blare across central, southern and northern parts of Israel after US president announced 2-week suspension of bombing tied to Iran reopening Strait of Hormuz; 3 teens lightly hurt in Tel Sheva
After U.S. President Donald Trump announced a two-week suspension of bombing tied to Iran reopening the Strait of Hormuz, Iran launched a series of missile barrages at Israel early Wednesday, triggering sirens across central, southern and northern parts of the country.
The first salvo set off alerts in the Jerusalem area and the Shfela lowlands in central Israel. Military officials said air defense systems intercepted the missile, and Magen David Adom said crews were dispatched to a site where interceptor debris was reported. No injuries were reported.
Shortly afterward, another barrage was fired toward southern Israel, with sirens sounding in the Be'er Sheva area and communities near the Gaza border. Air defense systems intercepted the missile, and rescue forces were sent to search for interceptor debris. No casualties were reported.
In a subsequent attack, sirens sounded across the Tel Aviv metropolitan area, the Sharon region and the West Bank. The missile was believed to be carrying an internationally banned cluster-type warhead, and rescue crews were called to two scenes in Bnei Brak and Petah Tikva after reports of impacts from the missile’s submunitions. No injuries were reported.
Alerts were then activated in Haifa and across northern Israel as another barrage was launched. A short time later, Iran fired additional missiles simultaneously toward southern Israel, including the Be'er Sheva area and Gaza border communities, and toward central Israel, including the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. Abba, President Trump needs Your help!  The Iranians, as usual, lied in agreeing to a ceasefire that they then ignored by attacking multiple Gulf countries with missiles and drones.  Holy Spirit, we ask You to speak directly to Your son, Donald, tell him what is on Your heart about Iran and what Your perfect will is in these circumstances, show him the pathway You have already prepared for him to walk out with You.  We ask this in Jesus' powerful name.

Ecclesiastes 7:19
And Now . . . Lion of Judah: ROAR!!!!
"The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man;
He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

NASA’s Artemis II Crew Launches to the Moon
Flight Day 8: Crew Conducts Key Tests on Return to Earth
LIVE UPDATES from the Mission
Artemis II lifted off from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on April 1, 2026, and will reach the lunar sphere of influence—when the Moon's gravity exerts more force on the Orion spacecraft than the Earth's gravity—on April 5, before flying around the far side of the Moon on April 6

Aboard the Orion spacecraft, named Integrity, the Artemis II crew kicked off Flight Day 8 with “Under Pressure,” by Queen and David Bowie, and will prepare for two test objectives on their way home. At wakeup, they were 200,278 miles from Earth and 83,549 miles from the Moon. The crew also received a message from CSA (Canadian Space Agency).

Staying healthy

NASA astronauts Reid WisemanVictor Glover, and Christina Koch, and CSA astronaut Jeremy Hansen, will complete their daily flywheel exercise session as part of the mission’s fitness regimen. The flywheel uses a cable‑based system that supports both aerobic workouts, like rowing, and resistive movements, including squats and deadlifts.

Orthostatic intolerance garment testing

All four crew members will take turns testing and evaluating the orthostatic intolerance garment worn under the Orion Crew Survival System suit, which helps astronauts maintain blood pressure and circulation during the transition back to Earth’s gravity. After extended time in microgravity, some astronauts experience orthostatic intolerance, a condition that can make it difficult to stand upright without dizziness or fainting. The garment applies lower‑body compression to counteract this effect and support a safe return.

Hello from Artemis II

Media will have an opportunity at 9:45 p.m. EDT to speak with the crew following their historic flyby around the Moon. To join the call virtually, media must RSVP no later than 1 p.m.

Taking control of Orion

After their midday meal, crew will take control of Orion around 10:55 p.m. for another manual piloting demonstration.

Using Orion’s field of view window, the crew will center a designated target and then guide the spacecraft to a tail‑to‑Sun attitude. The test more data about the handling qualities and guidance, navigation, and control systems. By manually piloting the capsule to a tail-to-sun attitude, the crew can manage thermal conditions and power generation.

The crew completed a similar piloting demonstration earlier in the mission and also during the proximity operations demonstration.

Preparing for splashdown

Looking ahead to Thursday, the crew and flight control teams will begin preparing the cabin and studying entry procedures ahead of splashdown. The crew will start stowing equipment and installing their seats to ensure all items are secured for re-entry.

To prepare the cabin for entry, the teams opted to forego the originally planned shielding deployment demonstration. (Read More Here)

Thought for the Day
"You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore."
(Psalm 16:11)
A Special Message
The Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
