The Artemis II mission reveals glory of God — not science-based atheism
|

The Artemis astronauts continue a mission that has given them — and us — a spectacular view of the moon, Earth and deep space — and with it a sense of both scientific accomplishment and renewed awe at the grandeur of our planet. Indeed, many astronauts who have seen Earth from space have reported having an almost spiritual experience. From the Apollo 8 crew reading the Genesis account while viewing Earth from space on Christmas day 1968 to Jared Isaacman, current NASA administrator, reporting that his time in space convinced him that "the heavens declare the glory of God," human space travel has often mixed scientific exploration with religious affirmation.
Nevertheless, leading spokesmen for science often argue that science undermines religious belief. Evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins, theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss, "Science Guy" Bill Nye, science writer Michael Shermer and others have published popular books arguing that science renders belief in God implausible. "The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if … there is no purpose, no design ... nothing but blind, pitiless indifference," Dawkins has famously written. Yet, between that message and reality, there is a major disconnect. Americans and Israelis should be very happy about U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s decision to agree to a two-week ceasefire in Iran if it’s very strongly and meticulously enforced.
Here’s why.
1. Operation Epic Fury has shrewdly proven to be a massive and historic success.
- We’ve assassinated the self-proclaimed Supreme Leader, his entire inner circle, and hundreds of other senior generals, commanders, and intelligence officers.
- We’ve obliterated the remainder of Iran’s nuclear weapons facilities, the vast majority of their missiles, launchers, drones, and factories that produce all of those.
- We’ve shot down more than 90% of the missiles and drones they’ve fired at American, Israeli, and Arab targets.
- We’ve destroyed a great deal of their economic infrastructure that generates income for the regime and cash for their terror proxies.
- And we’ve proven that we can inflict far more devastation if they don’t surrender to President Trump’s demands.
2. What’s left of the Iranian regime is begging for a ceasefire because it is systematically being blown to smithereens.
- President Trump has driven Iranian leaders to their knees – the first American leader to do so in 47 years.
- Tehran wasn’t serious about making sweeping concessions before the 12-Day War last January.

Abba, we give You praise and thanks for Joel Rosenberg's assessment of the success the US has had in the war with Iran. We ask You to continue guiding and directing President Trump as he works with our military and those negotiating this peace treaty, in building a strategy to bring lasting peace with Iran. We ask Holy Spirit to pour out the Fear of the Lord into the hearts of the Iranian leadership, let it be a warning that to lie, as they are known to do, will release President Trump to begin the assault to end this war by destroying their transportation infrastructure and oil production facilities.

Vance to Lead US Delegation to Pakistan for Peace Talks with Iran
|

Disagreement over Lebanon threatened to complicate U.S.-brokered deal.
Vice President JD Vance and a team of negotiators are headed to Pakistan for peace talks with Iran.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed in an April 8 press briefing that the Trump administration is sending a negotiating team to Islamabad, Pakistan.
The team will include U.S. special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser.
The first round of talks is taking place on Saturday morning, local time.
This will come just days after Iran and the United States agreed to a deal that secured a two-week cease-fire.
However, recent public comments about the cease-fire indicate that Iran may make the talks contingent on a cease-fire between Israel and Lebanon. (The Epoch Times) |

We ask You to bring clarity and truth that aligns with Your will for Iran, the US, Israel and Lebanon. We ask for all of them, eyes to see truth from deception and discernment to understand hearts if different from their words. As Jewish families prepared for Passover, US President Donald Trump issued a message placing the ancient redemption at the center of modern political and religious life. Speaking to Jewish communities in the United States and around the world, Trump emphasized faith, national strength, and what he described as an unprecedented period of prosperity.
“Over 3,000 years ago, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob delivered the ancient Israelites out of slavery and brought them into the promised land,” Trump said. “It was an amazing period of time, just like today we have an amazing period of time.”
He returned repeatedly to the theme of divine intervention in history. “This week we recall this ancient proof of God’s faithfulness,” Trump said, adding, “with true faith, eternal hope, and the power of prayer, nothing can stop the people of God.”
Trump echoed that understanding in his message. “As Jewish families and loved ones gather together for Seder dinner, we ask that G-d will continue to watch over the Jewish people,” he said, continuing, “and that He may continue to preserve and protect the United States of America for generations to come.”
He closed his Passover remarks with a strong statement about current conditions in the United States. “Our country is doing better than it has ever done. I am very happy to report,” Trump said. “Happy Passover!”
In a separate address marking Easter, Trump expanded on his broader message about religion in America. “This Holy Week, I’m proud to join with Christians across the country and around the world to celebrate the most glorious miracle in all of time,” he said. “In his life, Christ displayed true humility. In his death, he modeled true love.” He added, “To be a great nation, you must have religion, and you must have God,” and pointed to what he described as a shift in American society: “Religion is growing again in our country for the first time in decades.”
The parallel messaging—one rooted in the Exodus and one in Christian observance—signals a consistent position. The interesting thing about this list is that the first three groups mentioned represented far-flung Jewish communities of Persia. The Parthians, Medes and Elamites were all from areas beyond the Roman Empire and beyond the River Tigris, in what is now modern-day Iran. Parthians were from Parthia (now northeast Iran), Medes from Media (now northwest Iran), and Elamites from Elam (now southwest Iran). Returning home to Parthia, Media and Elam, some of these Jewish believers started messianic congregations, and there has been a continuous presence of historic Christian communities in Iran ever since. 1. Israel, Lebanon to begin direct talks on Hezbollah disarmament and peace, Netanyahu declares - Jerusalem Post
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday announced that his cabinet would begin ceasefire and Hezbollah disarmament talks with Lebanon “as soon as possible,” in light of the current active warfront between the IDF and Hezbollah and the upcoming peace talks with Iran in Islamabad.
Netanyahu’s decision was motivated by “Lebanon’s repeated requests to open direct negotiations with Israel,” the prime minister said, adding that “negotiations will focus on disarming Hezbollah and establishing peaceful relations between Israel and Lebanon.”
This announcement came just minutes before Hezbollah launched a barrage of rockets, triggering sirens in northern Israel. (Read more)

2. IDF says it killed Hezbollah chief’s secretary as some 70 rockets fired from Lebanon - Times of Israel
The secretary of Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem was killed on Wednesday evening in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut, the Israel Defense Forces announced Thursday.
Ali Yusuf Harshi was targeted in a strike in Beirut’s Tallet Khayat neighborhood, outside Hezbollah’s Dahiyeh stronghold. Footage showed that the strike partially collapsed a multistory building.

3. World slams Israel for ‘attacking Lebanon,’ even though focus is Hezbollah

Israel intensified airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon on Wednesday after a ceasefire with Iran was announced, prompting criticism from world leaders despite Israeli officials emphasizing the campaign’s focus on the terror group.
Pakistan emerged as one of the most vocal critics of the strikes, reflecting its role in brokering the ceasefire between Israel and the US on one side and Iran on the other.
US President Donald Trump, however, defended the operation, telling PBS Newshour on Wednesday that Lebanon was not included in the ceasefire proposal.
The United Arab Emirates reiterated its “solidarity” with the Lebanese government and its support for “Lebanon’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity,” while expressing concern over “continued escalation” and the potential impact on “regional security and stability,” CNN reported. 4. Hezbollah launches missiles at central Israel - Israel National News
Sirens sounded at 1:15 on Friday morning in Tel Aviv and its surrounding cities after the Hezbollah terrorist organization launched at least two missiles from Lebanon. One missile was intercepted, and a second fell in an open area. No injuries were reported.
Earlier on Thursday evening, sirens sounded in Haifa, the Bay Area, the upper Galilee, and along the Israel-Lebanon border due to four launches from Lebanon. One missile was reportedly intercepted, and the others apparently fell in open areas.
MDA reported that no reports of injuries were received following the launches. The incident occurred after a day of escalation, during which over 50 rockets were launched towards northern communities. (Read more)

“The State of Israel has achieved immense accomplishments, achievements that until recently seemed completely imaginary,” the premier said in a prime time address to the nation following the conclusion of the Passover holiday in Israel. “Iran is weaker than ever, and Israel is stronger than ever. This is the bottom line of this campaign, up to this moment.”

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth declared a "decisive military victory" in Iran amid a two-week ceasefire, crediting U.S. military competence and divine providence during a Wednesday morning press briefing at the Pentagon.
"Our troops, our American warriors, deserve the credit for this day, but God deserves all the glory. Tens of thousands of sorties, refuelings and strikes carried out under the protection of divine providence; a massive effort with miraculous protection," he said.
"'Dude 44 Bravo' spoke for all of us: 'God is good,'" he added, referencing the call sign and reported message of the downed American pilot when he was rescued Sunday after his F-15E was shot down approximately 200 miles within the Iranian interior last Friday.
The briefing, which Hegseth held jointly with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Air Force Gen. Dan Caine, highlighted the last-minute agreement reached late Tuesday establishing a two-week ceasefire between Iran, the United States and Israel.
The deal enabled President Donald Trump to step back from his threat to devastate Iran's "whole civilization" if they failed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz by Tuesday evening.
Calling it "a big day for world peace," Hegseth said, "Iran wants it to happen. They've had enough. Operation Epic Fury was a historic and overwhelming victory on the battlefield. A capital V." We give thanks to You, Lord, as our Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, recognizes that the 'decisive military victory' in Iran was not only because of our great American Warriors but it was also because of the divine providence of God Almighty!
As our troops took down an impressive 13,000 targets, God was fighting on their behalf! Although aircraft was struck down, the pilots were not destroyed! As American troops searched for the F-15E pilots that ejected from their plane, one was rescued quickly while another one was deep behind enemy lines. 'Dude 44 Bravo had walked miles, wounded, and climbed into the high mountain of Iran. He knew that America was praying and that President Donald Trump and our military would not leave him behind! As a Christian man, he was not alone. God was with him as he echoed the words 'God is good"!

2. Pro-Israel Christians Are Now In The Crosshairs Of Europe's Rising Antisemitism – Prophecy Newswatch
On Friday evening, a manhunt was launched in the Netherlands to track down suspects responsible for a bombing attack targeting Christians supportive of the Jewish State.
The explosive was planted at the front doors of a building belonging to a Dutch Christian organization (Christenen voor Israel), which seeks to stand "in solidarity with Israel and combat all forms of antisemitism." The group frequently features Pro-Israel lectures and sells Israeli-made products, helping to support the Jewish community, combat false information against the Jewish State, and counteract anti-Israel boycotts.
While the attack sparked outrage among officials in the nation, the most pointed comments came from the Israeli Ambassador to the Netherlands, Zvi Vapni, who warned that the bombing was "not an isolated incident."
"First, Jews were intimidated and attacked in the Netherlands. Now Christians who support Israel are being targeted too," he emphasized, urging police to swiftly track down the person(s) accountable.
The rise of antisemitism in the Netherlands was on full display, especially among the Muslim population, in November of 2024, when Israeli soccer fans in Amsterdam became the victims of a horrific pogrom. Lord God,
Our hearts grieve with You, as antisemitism continues to raise its evil head not only in Europe but across the world. Not only are Jews being intimidated and killed, but now Christians who support them are now targeted too. The words of a young Jewish woman still echo in my head from a Christian conference years ago: "Will you save me when they come for me again?" Then she said, "but next time they will come for you too."
As unholy alliances continue to form around the world, collateral antisemitism becomes a real threat to all who support Israel. Father, we know that this is definitely a spiritual battle as Satan pushes his antisemitic agenda and that this battle belongs to You! As we continue to stand with our Jewish brothers and sisters we know that we are standing in solidarity with You, Almighty God!

We pray that You would silence the unrighteous articles of the media that are giving false statements that they call news! Continue to give press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, the words to torch and shut down the dishonest mainstream media that is peddling Iranian regime propaganda and trying to discredit President Trump. Although there may be parts of this 10 point ceasefire plan that can be used, it is crystal clear that America's red line of Iranian enrichment will never change according to President Donald Trump.
Lord, we pray for President Trump and his negotiating team as they focus on these extraordinarily sensitive complex negotiations concerning the 10 point plan. We pray, Father, that Your eyes will be upon this and protect America's best interests as our nation deals with this wicked regime of Iran. Lord God, if we examine the definition of ‘citizen’ and determine the intent of the Constitution on this matter, then automatic birthright citizenship does not apply in the eyes of nearly 60% of our population. Abba, we know that there is only one key to becoming a citizen of Heaven—Jesus. We pray that the key to becoming a US citizen be clarified and implemented in the same manner throughout each of our fifty states.
We ask that any upcoming court judgments and/or federal policies or laws passed by Congress concerning granting citizenship to babies born to aliens on U.S. soil, on vessels in U.S. waterways or in the air above our nation would reflect the peoples’ will. We pray that U.S. citizenship be duly earned through traditional, legal means for all immigrants, which include their infants born here. Father, please hinder those politicians or officials motivated to seek instant citizenship of alien-birthed babies for dubious purposes such as acquiring more votes for their party.

6. Trump Meets With NATO Secretary as He Floats US Leaving Alliance – The Epoch Times
President Donald Trump has criticized members of the NATO alliance for not assisting U.S. military operations against Iran.
NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte met with President Donald Trump at the White House on April 8, following criticism by Trump of the alliance’s lack of support for recent U.S. military operations against Iran.
Members of the alliance have been reluctant to send their forces to assist in combat operations against Iran. Throughout the Middle East conflict, several NATO member nations have also denied U.S. forces access to military bases and overflight of their airspace on the way to conduct strikes against Iran.
In a post on Truth Social after the meeting, Trump indicated that he was still unhappy with the treaty group.
“NATO WASN’T THERE WHEN WE NEEDED THEM, AND THEY WON’T BE THERE IF WE NEED THEM AGAIN. REMEMBER GREENLAND, THAT BIG, POORLY RUN, PIECE OF ICE!!!” Trump wrote.
The White House has not yet provided a readout or additional details on the two leaders’ discussion.

Abba Father, we are both shocked and dismayed that our alliance/friendship with NATO nations could become a thing of the past. We have certainly helped them generously in the past, and not one nation has come forward to help in the Iranian conflict and in securing the Strait of Hormuz. What may be even worse, Abba, is that we have been banned from using their military bases and from overflying several nations’ airspace in the current Iranian conflict. In our distress, we choose to forgive them for abandoning us; but we are in dire need of Your godly wisdom to know what to do next. May President Trump and Staff hear clearly from You regarding the next steps with both Iran and NATO.

Palm Sunday Bloodshed and Terror Across West Africa

The images coming out of Nigeria on Palm Sunday are as disturbing as they are revealing. At least 30 Christians were slaughtered during worship, gunned down on one of the holiest days of the faith. This was violence targeted, timed, and meant to terrorize. It underscores a hard truth many continue to ignore. Radical Islam, when left unchecked, does not coexist, it expands. It begins with words of peace, then pressure, then dominance, and ultimately violence. The pattern is well established, and what we are witnessing now is not an isolated tragedy, it is the continuation of a deliberate campaign. When governments fail to confront it head-on, the message to extremists is simple, keep going.
This is exactly the concern raised in The Daily Jot’s prior analysis of US involvement training Nigerian forces. Good intentions do not guarantee good outcomes. In a region where extremist groups like Boko Haram and Fulani militants operate with ideological clarity and long-term patience, weak governance becomes an ally to terror. As noted, infiltration is a real danger, where those being trained may not share the same mission as those doing the training. The deeper issue is not capability, it is will. A government that cannot or will not consistently protect its Christian population sends a dangerous signal. Attacks continue, communities are wiped out, and accountability is nowhere to be found. Colorado’s loss in the Supreme Court’s Kaley Chiles case last week marked the third time in recent years the justices have rebuked the state in a major culture-war dispute, adding to a growing pattern of high-profile reversals in cases over speech, religion and anti-discrimination law.
The high court's decision was the latest in a trio of lawsuits that backfired for Colorado, after the Colorado Civil Rights Commission lost in court to a cake baker in a key religious liberty case and after a website designer won a similar battle against the state's civil rights division. Conservative legal experts said the legal setbacks for the state were not a coincidence.
"Colorado seems hell-bent on enforcing its own new orthodoxy of thought, and the Supreme Court has had to come back time and time again to correct them and to remind them that the First Amendment protects freedom of speech, freedom of religion, even when the state may disagree with a person's opinions," Carrie Severino, president of the legal watchdog JCN, told Fox News Digital.
The Supreme Court last week found that Colorado’s conversion therapy ban, signed into law in 2019 by Democratic Gov. Jared Polis, violated the First Amendment because it only restricted talk therapy when the therapy aimed to prevent minors from embracing being transgender or gay. (Fox News) Read more here.

Just as KGB agents did during the Cold War, Vladimir Putin’s current proxies continue to seize upon divisive elements within American society in order to exploit them. Their aim is to create — or deepen — the chasm of political opinion sparked by issues such as tariffs, protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), or Washington’s foreign policy.
Operating in coordination with regional allies — such as Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua — Russian media outlets work to discredit dissident voices and stifle pro-democracy movements.
In 2018, for instance, RT en Español broadcasted content favorable to the draft of the new Castroist constitution. In 2020, it did the same, this time in support of a brand-new Family Code. In both instances, the Christians leading civil society’s resistance against these policies were portrayed merely as a fringe minority or as a group that the regime needed to crush. Indeed, the Kremlin played a direct role spreading these attacks.
According to analyst Hugo Marcelo Balderrama, the works of Soviet military theorists — such as Generals Makhmut Gareev, Vladimir Slipchenko, Sergei Bogdanov, and Valery Gerasimov — “provide a useful framework for understanding the Russian strategy of expanding the scope of confrontation — with the assistance of Hugo Chávez, Lula da Silva, Daniel Ortega, and Fidel Castro — beyond the realm of conventional warfare and into a broad spectrum of activities.” One such activity is disinformation.
In this regard, Havana remains an open wound for both regional security and that of the United States. As the digital newspaper Diario de Cuba documented in a comprehensive report, numerous recent examples demonstrate the close coordination between the Castro regime’s media apparatus and that of its Eurasian ally. Many times we have heard President Trump and the war Cabinet say when asked a question by the media, "We cannot give you that information at this time, because it would jeopardize the mission set before us." Maybe God has said that to us from time to time.
We as intercessors have a mission that God has set before us in His word to 'pray without ceasing". As soldiers in His army we will wage war in the Spirit and in the natural! We will give God the glory for every victory won through prayer and intercession! We will continue to seek God and listen to His voice on when to move and when to be silent! He is the Commander in Chief!
Pray without ceasing for President Trump, the war cabinet and for our great military today. We are at a crucial point in the war! Lord, We ask for complete protection for our troops and for the IDF and Prime Minister Netanyahu!!!!L Let Angels be on assignment!
As we get closer to His coming, we must stay ready and on alert! It is exciting but also scary to be honored to live in this time of ushering in His kingdom! We are not alone! His angelic presence is already here and the earth is groaning in obedience to His word! Not only should we read the Word but 'listen' closely to His Word! He will never leave us nor forsake us because He is already with us in the battle! Glory be to God!

Artemis II Flight Day 9:
Crew Prepares to Come Home

On their last full day in space, the Artemis II crew began the morning with “Lonesome Drifter” by Charley Crockett as they approached Earth at 147,337 miles.
NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, and CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Jeremy Hansen will continue preparing for their return to Earth set for Friday, April 10, including reviewing re-entry and splashdown procedures and conducting a return trajectory correction burn.
Cabin configuration for re-entry
Koch and Hansen will begin by stowing equipment they have had out during the mission, removing cargo and locker netting, installing and adjusting crew seats to ensure all items are secured before their return to Earth. As part of the day’s activities, the crew will review the latest weather briefing, recovery force status, and entry timeline. Throughout the day, they also will work through post‑landing operations.
Another push home
Orion’s thrusters are scheduled to ignite for the second return trajectory correction burn at 9:53 p.m. EDT to fine‑tune the spacecraft’s path toward Earth. The maneuver will further refine Orion’s trajectory and ensure the spacecraft remains aligned for atmospheric re-entry. During the burn, Hansen will review the procedure steps and monitor Orion’s guidance, navigation, and propulsion systems.
Preparing for splashdown
As Artemis II nears its return to Earth, NASA teams on the ground are completing final preparations for Orion’s re-entry and splashdown around 8:07 p.m. (5:07 p.m. PDT) Friday, April 10, off the coast of San Diego. NASA LIVE Update: GO HERE
