Surrogate Mother Chooses Life,
Gives Birth to Baby After Bio-Parents Requested Abortion
|

|
A surrogate mother who refused to abort her baby despite demands from the biological parents recently gave birth. With Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's help, surrogate mother McKenna West fled to the state, where she and her baby were protected under state law until her baby's birth.
In April 2026, West was told the baby she was carrying was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome at 20 weeks pregnant. Reportedly, the biological parents asked West to terminate the baby's life due to the defect. However, West refused and fled to Texas where Paxton is legally and now medically supporting her and the baby boy, Gabriel.
According to Fox News, Gabriel was born on Wednesday, August 13, 2026, and received urgent medical care from the UT Southwestern Medical Center and Children's Medical Center of Dallas after Paxton further enforced the medical institutions' legal obligations under Texas law. "Baby Gabriel deserves a chance at life, and I will not allow anyone to unlawfully deny him medically necessary care," said Paxton in a statement. "My office will use every tool available to protect innocent lives and ensure that every child receives the care required under Texas law."
The Attorney General's Office is committed to closely following the case, ensuring that both West and Gabriel are given every legal and medical protection the state can offer. While Gabriel receives lifesaving medical care, the legal battle over who has legal ownership of him continues between his surrogate mother and his biological parents. Abba Father, we thank You for saving this precious baby! May double-portion of blessings be poured upon the surrogate mother, McKenna West, for her bravery in saving this child's life. We ask for Your favor over Attorney General Ken Paxton, for enforcing the medical institution's legal obligation to provide medical care. Although this case will continue to be battled in court, between the surrogate mother and the biological parents, we ask for Your protection over his life. Father, you are a God of miracles and we boldly pray for Your miraculous healing, so this child's life-story would be known around the world! May only Your plans and purposes prevail for this innocent baby and Your holy Will be done- on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus powerful Name we pray- Amen.

Navy awards Raytheon $22.9B to boost Tomahawk production
|
|
The U.S. Navy awarded Raytheon a $22.9 billion, multi-year contract to accelerate production of Tomahawk cruise missiles, aiming to build more than 1,000 of the long-range strike weapons a year.
The Department of War announced the award Monday as part of its "Arsenal of Freedom" initiative to expand weapons production. "This landmark $22.9 billion investment will accelerate Tomahawk missile delivery to our warfighters at unprecedented speed," said Acting Secretary of the Navy Hung Cao.
"Tomahawk is the Navy's most important strike weapon, able to target hostile forces hundreds of miles away without ever risking the lives of our sailors," Raytheon President Phil Jasper said.
The contract comes as the U.S. works to rebuild a depleted arsenal. American forces have expended about a third of the nation's Tomahawk inventory, the Center for Strategic and International Studies estimated in a July analysis, including at least 135 fired during the campaign against Yemen's Houthis and 24 during the Twelve Day War with Iran.

Trump orders major cut to US-South Korea drills as North Korea ramps up missile tests
|
|
President Donald Trump ordered the Pentagon to scale back upcoming U.S.-South Korea military exercises on Sunday, arguing that the operations cost too much and send a hostile message to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
At the same time, the president went on to criticize Seoul for declining to join U.S. war efforts to denuclearize Iran.
"Based on my very good relationship with Kim Jong Un, of North Korea, I am not happy with the fact that the United States has, long ago, agreed to participate in Joint Military Exercises with South Korea," Trump wrote.
"These exercises are not only costly, with much of these costs paid for by the United States of America (as usual!), but send a signal that is totally inappropriate and hostile, to a Country that, as long as Donald J. Pakistani Christians Rally for Equal Rights

August 11 was declared in Pakistan the official "National Minorities Day" in 2009 in response to a campaign led by Shahbaz Bhatti, Pakistan's first Catholic federal minister for minorities and a prominent advocate for religious freedom. (Screengrab image: via Instagram-eTribune)
The date commemorates Muhammad Ali Jinnah's historic address to Pakistan's Constituent Assembly on Aug. 11, 1947, in which the country's founder declared that citizens were free to practice their religion and that faith should have no bearing on equal citizenship.
Bhatti was assassinated in Islamabad on March 2, 2011, for his vocal opposition to Pakistan's blasphemy laws. Those laws carry the death penalty for insulting Islam or Mohammed.
Fifteen years after Bhatti's assassination, Christians, Hindus, Ahmadis and other minority communities continue to report discrimination, attacks on places of worship, abductions, forced conversions and marriages of underage girls, and misuse of the country's blasphemy laws. The Pentagon directed a group of 30 American universities and colleges on Monday to conduct audits of its financial and research relationships with foreign entities or risk losing their federal funding.
The schools, which include New York University, Harvard and Georgetown University, must review identified foreign collaborations and assess any exposure of "sensitive or export-controlled research," according to Fox News.
The targeted schools must also implement plans to mitigate actions that violate national security protocol and even terminate relationships with foreign institutions if necessary.
"The Department of War has zero tolerance for academic partnerships that compromise our national security," Emil Michael, Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering, told the outlet. "Institutions that receive funding from American taxpayers must uphold the highest standards of research security, and these mandated audits will ensure accountability across the board." This is excellent, Abba. It is time we put up the boundaries of sovereignty for our nation, even as in scriptures, cities always have walls around them for a multitude of reasons. 1. Syria says Israel struck military airport; US envoy pans Israel’s ‘unnecessary escalation’ - Times of Israel
The runway of a military airport in northwestern Syria was targeted by unidentified fighter jets overnight Monday, with Damascus blaming Israel for the airstrike and the United States denouncing Israel for the attack.
“Israeli occupation aircraft early this morning targeted the runway of the Abu Duhur military airport… with eight strikes,” Syrian state television quoted an unidentified military source as saying, adding that “the attack resulted in material damage to the airport’s infrastructure, without causing casualties.”
There was no official comment from Israel on the reports, though a senior Israeli official told US media Tuesday that Israel notified the US before the strike, and shared “highly sensitive intelligence” related to the incident, without elaborating. (Read more)

2. Israel confirms Syria airstrikes, warns against Turkish deployment

Israel on Tuesday evening officially commented on the previous night's airstrikes against the Abu al-Duhur airbase in the eastern Idlib countryside.
In an English-language statement, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Office said, "Israel and Syria agreed to a status quo in security matters, which Syria was on the verge of breaching by permitting Turkish troops to deploy at an airbase near Aleppo."
The statement clarified, “Israel repeatedly warned Syria that such a deployment would pose a threat to Israel's security. Syria chose to ignore these warnings. Israel will not tolerate threats to its security, and would welcome a return to the status quo." (Read more)

3. Footage reveals first members of International Stabilization Force arrive in Gaza

The first members of the International Stabilization Force, accompanied by other international personnel, have entered the Gaza Strip to prepare for reconstruction work in areas under Israeli military control beyond the “yellow line,” according to footage released Tuesday by Israeli groups Tzav 9 and the Otef Israel Forum.
The reported arrival comes as Hamas has yet to be disarmed and the territory’s demilitarization has not been implemented.
The footage, filmed in the Kerem Shalom area, shows what the organizations described as the first international teams entering Gaza to conduct surveys ahead of planned reconstruction operations. (Read more)

4. IDF Targets Hamas Nukhba commanders planning attacks on Israeli forces in Gaza - World Israel News
The Israeli military struck a group of Hamas Nukhba commanders meeting in the Shati area of the northern Gaza Strip on Tuesday, targeting terrorists it said were planning terror attacks against IDF troops operating in Gaza.
The IDF said the Hamas commanders were attacked from the air to eliminate the threat they posed to Israeli forces.
The group included a company commander, three platoon commanders, and several additional Hamas terrorists.
One of the Hamas terrorists targeted in the strike had infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre, according to the IDF. (Read more)

5. B'Tselem claims 47 Palestinian families at risk of expulsion, IDF says homes built illegally - Jerusalem Post
Israeli human rights organization B'Tselem claimed on Tuesday that 47 Palestinian families are at risk of expulsion from their homes in the West Bank's northern Jordan Valley.
The left-wing organization claimed that settler extremists, alongside with the IDF, cut off the water supply for 300 people in Ras al-Ahmar, At-Tha'ala, and the area east of Atuf.
IDF sources told The Jerusalem Post that the circumstances differ for each family involved in the case, with many or all of the families living in the area having built their homes illegally in Area C of the West Bank. (Read more)

1. Chip Roy’s ARTICLE ONE Act Requires Congress to Approve National Emergencies After 30 Days- Breitbart
Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) is preparing to introduce legislation that would require Congress to approve national emergency declarations and the powers used under them within 30 days for them to remain in effect.
Roy plans to introduce the Assuring that Robust, Thorough, and Informed Congressional Leadership is Exercised Over National Emergencies Act, or the “ARTICLE ONE Act,” on Thursday. The legislation would amend the National Emergencies Act to establish a new system for congressional review of national emergencies, including automatic expiration of declarations that do not receive congressional approval.
The legislation comes after the COVID-19 pandemic and is aimed in part at ensuring that unelected officials cannot wield sweeping authority for extended periods under emergency declarations without continued accountability from elected officials.

2. GOP Rep. Zinke on Dem Socialist Trend: ‘I’m Hoping that America Pulls Together on the Constitution’- Breitbart
Tuesday on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria,” Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-MT) reacted to CBS News polling that 58% of Democrats view socialism favorably.
Zinke said that the socialist views have “transcended” from socialism into communism and urge Americans to pull together on the Constitution.
“Congressman, I want to get your thoughts on this because maybe not so much in Montana, but in several states across the country, we have seen these very far-left socialist candidates win in their primaries sometimes by double digits. Your thoughts?” FBN’s Cheryl Casone asked.
Zinke replied, “Well, let’s call it for what it is. It’s transcended from socialism into communism. What’s their platform? Borderless, no borders, no ICE. Local authorities doing thought police, no databases, no data centers. Now it’s amazing what the Democratic, you know, agenda really is, free, free, free. Abortion’s free, men playing women sports. I mean, it doesn’t end on this agenda. I think it’s short lived. I’m hoping it’s short lived. At the end of the day, I’m hoping that America pulls together on the Constitution. We agree and call for America to stand together with our Constitution and not only reject communism and islamism, but to use our voices and knowledge to help the young ones understand all that is good and precious about the greatness of our nation. Father, may we remember and recall the fire of God here from two centuries ago, as was seen by Alexis de Tocqueville in the 1830s when he stated, "Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power." Let timidity wash away and compromise become bitter in order to allow the holiness and might of Your presence result in revival fires that can stand against all tyranny, in Jesus's name.

3. Artificial Ignorance: The Political Falsehoods of Leading AIs - JustFacts.com
A groundbreaking study by Just Facts has measured the rates at which premium versions of four leading AI chatbots—namely ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Grok, and Claude—spread fictions from the political left and from the political right.
The study accomplished this by asking the AIs 100 multiple-choice questions that were designed to elicit falsehoods from opposing sides of the political spectrum. This enabled the study to measure how often the AIs spread untruths from the left and from the right.
When tested with the full battery of 100 questions, all of the AIs but Grok answered with more falsehoods from the political left than from the political right, while Grok did the opposite. Scoring their performance using common academic letter grades:
- All of the AIs but Grok scored an “A” on questions designed to elicit falsehoods from the right, while Grok scored a “C.”
- Beyond supplying a combined total of 74 false answers to 400 questions, the AIs provided a staggering number of specious sources to support their answers, including:
- 86 sources that don’t exist and show no evidence of ever existing in the Internet Archive or Google.
- 77 sources that don’t answer the question.
- 18 sources that are completely unrelated to the issues at hand
- 15 sources that assert the polar opposite of the answers given by the AIs.

Holy One, this AI (artificial intelligence) technology is an enormous snake in the grass threat with the potential to be a great help as well. However, the likelihood of rampant falsehoods is very high and having almost no moral code installed in its coding allows that danger to be very real and must be checked. It is critical for the body of Christ to be engaged in aligning this tool with the Holy scriptures and righteousness, so that the guidelines of Godliness might be used to compel the AI to do what is right, as a first step.
"knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. . . . then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment," (2 Peter 1:20-21, 2:1, 9)

4. Abdul El-Sayed Says Wealthy Should 'Pay Their Fair Share' But Appears To Take Advantage of Tax 'Loophole' Used by John Edwards, Accountants Say- Free Beacon
Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed says that, if elected, he will work to "build a tax system that's fair for working people and makes billionaires pay their fair share." Yet his latest financial disclosure and tax return suggest the wealthy candidate, who is in the top 1 percent of Michigan earners, is taking advantage of an obscure tax loophole—derided since then-Democratic vice presidential hopeful John Edwards used it in 2004—in order to lower his own tax burden, accountants told the Washington Free Beacon.
El-Sayed's latest financial disclosure, which covers all of 2025 and the first seven months of 2026, shows that he paid himself a "salary" of $64,000 through AME Higher LLC, an entity he founded to take in consulting and speaking fees. He earned nearly double that—$103,000—as a "member draw," company profits that go to El-Sayed as the business owner.
The compensation structure is commonly used to limit Social Security and Medicare tax burdens. If El-Sayed were to pay himself a $167,000 salary, he would owe a 15.3 percent self-employment payroll tax on it, 12.4 percent of which goes to Social Security and 2.9 percent of which goes to Medicare. LLCs classified as "S-corporations," however, can avoid some of the tax. The IRS requires the S-corporation owner to pay himself a "reasonable salary" reflecting a legitimate market rate. That money is subject to payroll taxes, but the remaining profits are not. The setup would allow El-Sayed to save thousands of dollars in payroll taxes. (Read more here)

5. WNBA admits security in Atlanta was wrong to make fans cover shirts at Dream-Fever game- Fox News
The WNBA admitted Monday that league security improperly forced a mother and her teenage daughter to cover their XX-XY Athletics shirts during Sunday's game between the Indiana Fever and Atlanta Dream.
OutKick's Jon Root first detailed the incident involving Georgia resident Kasey Thomason and her 17-year-old daughter, Annie, who were sitting courtside during Indiana's 95-91 victory when security confronted them in overtime. The pair wore XX-XY Athletics shirts backing Fever guard Sophie Cunningham and her stance on protecting female athletics. The shirts have become a symbol of the WNBA's trans dilemma, exposing an uncomfortable question for a women's basketball league struggling to define who belongs in women's sports.
The WNBA admitted security crossed the line. But that only raises a bigger question: How did a women's basketball league reach the point where stating biological reality became grounds for security intervention? (Read more here)

Holy One, we are having a real issue with the gender bending going on right now. I want to take authority over this twisted perspective in society and command order and right thinking into our culture, in the name of Jesus. When Socialism Takes Over the Democratic Party

A political earthquake continues to rumble through the Democratic Party as socialist candidates defeat longtime establishment Democrats in primary contests across the nation. These victories reveal a growing divide between the party leadership of previous decades and an energized socialist movement demanding a dramatic transformation/overthrow of American government, economics, and culture. In Wisconsin, socialist candidate Francesca Hong has gained attention for past comments criticizing Thanksgiving and other traditional holidays. Michigan, Wisconsin, Colorado and New York voted for socialist candidates are no longer operating on the political fringe. They are moving into positions of influence.
The debate surrounding these candidates goes beyond personalities and elections. It reflects two competing visions of America’s future. Socialists argue that greater government involvement can create fairness, opportunity, and security. They present expanded government programs and collective economic control as tools to deliver freedom and prosperity. The facts are that socialism takes away power from individuals, families, businesses, and local communities and places all authority in government. America’s founders created a system based on individual liberty, private property, limited government, and the belief that rights come from God rather than government. ICE calls out Depraved Freak in Virginia

Marcelo Vasquez Reyna pleaded guilty to violating his teenage daughter and was also charged with rape and abduction

The Department of Homeland Security called out a "depraved freak" sex offender and illegal immigrant whom the agency said it recently deported after he abused his own daughter in Democrat-run Virginia
Records from the Albemarle County Circuit Criminal Division show Mexican national Marcelo Vasquez Reyna was convicted in March after pleading guilty to a charge involving a parent violating a child between the ages of 15 and 17. The incident took place in 2018. He was sentenced to five years and six months in prison, with five years of the sentence suspended.
Local outlet ABC 7 reported that Vasquez Reyna was arrested in March following his conviction. The outlet said he was also charged with attempted rape and abduction.
In an X post, DHS wrote that "ICE has DEPORTED Marcelo Vasquez-Reyna, a depraved freak who sexually abused HIS OWN DAUGHTER."
The agency added that "criminals like this sicko have NO sanctuary in our nation."
The Daily Progress reported that Vasquez Reyna was repeatedly arrested on charges of groping his teenage daughter and attempting to rape her using force, causing her to live in fear of further attacks.

Almighty God,
We pray for the wickedness of the wicked to come to an end! Thank You, Lord, that this evil Mexican national, Marcelo Vasquez Reyna, has been convicted on the charge of abduction and attempting to forcibly rape his daughter and that ICE has reportedly deported him.
Father, we pray for this young woman that has survived the devastation that her Father put her through and that he is finally out of this country. We pray, Lord, that all the trauma and fear that she went through for 2 years will leave her and that she will become an advocate for those who have been sexually abused . Refresh and renew her mind, Lord.
Lord, we pray that all illegal immigrants, who are in our now Democratic run, Virginia, be arrested and deported. Father God, we ask for protection against violent and sexual crimes that have increased in Virginia involving illegal immigrants and ask that everything hidden will be revealed and justice will be served.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen and Amen.

For years, defenders of the increasingly anti-Israel radical Left have insisted that its activists are simply criticizing Israeli government policy. They don't hate Israel, we are told. They only oppose settlements, military operations in Gaza, or American military aid.
But sometimes someone says the quiet part out loud.
Megan Romer, national co-chair of the Democratic Socialists of America, did exactly that during a remarkably revealing interview with New Yorker editor David Remnick.
Asked what the DSA actually wants for Israel and the Palestinians, Romer replied that the organization supports "a free Palestine with the capital in Jerusalem." When Remnick pressed her on whether that meant a two-state solution or a single state replacing Israel, Romer acknowledged that her answer could "be safely read as a one-state solution."
That distinction matters enormously.
This isn't merely a dispute over where Israel's borders should be drawn.
It raises the far more fundamental question of whether the world's only Jewish state should continue to exist at all.
