Murder Rate Hits Lowest Level Since 1955 as Violent Crime Plummets Across America
|
|
|
America hasn’t been this safe in nearly 70 years. New FBI data reveals that violent crime across the United States plunged 9.3% in 2025 compared to the previous year, marking the largest single-year drop since the bureau began tracking such statistics in 1936. The numbers offer a striking contrast to the crime waves that plagued American cities in recent years and signal what many law-and-order advocates have long called for: a return to safer streets.
The most dramatic improvement came in the category that matters most to families. Murder and non-negligent manslaughter offenses plummeted by an estimated 18.1%, bringing the national murder rate down to 4.1 per 100,000 people. That figure ties with 1955 and 1956 for the lowest murder rate in recorded American history.
For context, that means the streets of America today are as safe as they were during the Eisenhower administration, when traditional values and respect for law enforcement were woven into the fabric of daily life. The improvements weren’t limited to homicides. Robbery offenses dropped a remarkable 18.5%, while rape offenses decreased by 7.6%. Aggravated assaults, often fueled by drugs and gang activity, fell by 7.2%.
Perhaps most encouraging is how widespread the decline proved to be. Unlike previous crime drops that concentrated in specific regions or city sizes, this improvement reached every population group tracked in the FBI’s violent-crime data. Major metropolitan areas saw relief. So did small cities. Suburbs experienced the same downward trend. Even rural counties, often overlooked in national crime discussions, recorded meaningful decreases. That kind of across-the-board improvement is virtually unprecedented in modern crime statistics. Father, we thank You for the amazing report of crime rates plummeting across our nation! We are grateful for both President Trump and his Administration for bringing much needed safety and protection to our streets. We ask that You continue to give insight and clarity for keeping our communities secure. Lord, we invite Your Holy Spirit to flood cites currently known for high crime rates, such as Chicago, Portland, and Detroit, among many others. May the powerful move of Your Spirit cause cities to experience genuine transformation, revival in Jesus Christ and growing repentance as believers rise-up to rededicate their cites to Jesus Christ, our only King of kings and Lord of lords! By the Blood of Yeshua- we pray- Amen and Amen.
"Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out." (Acts 3:19)

Israel Strikes an Air Base in Northwest Syria to Prevent Turkish Troops from Deploying
|
|
DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) — Israel struck an air base in northwest Syria early Tuesday, saying it aimed to prevent Turkish troops from deploying there.
Turkey, which has close ties with the Syrian government and has been providing assistance to Syria’s military, has tense relations with Israel. The rival countries have sought to curb each other’s influence in neighboring Syria.
Eight strikes hit the runway of the Abu Duhur air base in the northwestern province of Idlib, causing damage but no casualties, state TV said. Syria’s Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shibani told reporters in Damascus that Syria condemns the “Israeli aggression,” adding that the strikes were “an unjustified provocation, a violation of Syria’s sovereignty, and a direct threat to regional and global stability.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said in a statement that Israel had attacked the base because Syria had been “on the verge of breaching” an agreed-upon “status quo in security matters” by allowing Turkish troops to deploy there. Read more

Abba, we thank You that You know the beginning from the end, and we ask for great wisdom for Your people Israel as they proactively protect themselves from those who would do them harm. We ask that You keep PM Netanyahu in lock step with You as he makes decisions during this volatile time. Father God, we ask You to intervene if the enemy seeks to get the Israeli military out of step with Your timing, keep them solidly within Your boundaries. Let Your voice be clear to MP Netanyahu and all those around him helping him determine next steps. We ask Holy Spirit to release warrior angels as a perimeter around Israel protecting them from unseen plans of the enemy to bring destruction. We ask this in the name Yahweh Palet, The Lord Our Deliverer.
"Sovereign Lord, my strong deliverer;
you shield my head in the day of battle."

With no MoU Extension in Sight, Iran Threatens Attacks on US Sites in Europe
|
|
Iran is weighing an attack on U.S. military facilities in Europe if President Donald Trump orders an escalation in military operations, the Financial Times reported.
Citing two regime insiders, the Times report identified Bulgaria and Cyprus as possible targets of such attacks.
One of the regime insiders referred to the previous drone attack on a British air base in Cyprus as proof of Tehran’s ability to carry out such attacks.
Additionally, the insiders told the Times that regime forces have also considered attacking subsea fiber-optic cables in the Strait of Hormuz, should an escalation occur.
The Times report comes alongside other reports, indicating that Islamic Republic leaders consider the resumption of hostilities to be a matter of when, not if.
Despite European assessments that Iran would struggle to launch successful ballistic missile attacks, one of the insiders pointed to the successful targeting of U.S. bases in Jordan in July, as proof of Iranian forces’ ability to conduct precise long-range attacks. That attack resulted in the deaths of three U.S. service members. Read more

Abba, thank You that You are our Sovereign God! Your words, "wars and rumors of wars", very much describe our world right now. We stand against the threats of military action by the IRGC and say, "NO". We decree and declare that Iran will NOT bring destruction to any other country, they will fail in every attempt to fire missiles, the missiles will backfire and bring destruction to Iran, in Jesus' name. Holy Spirit, release warrior angels to fight in the heavenlies, let them defeat to all demonic entities that have stolen the hope and freedom from the Iranian people, let the Prince of Persia be brought down, may that stronghold be taken out forever, in Jesus' name! We ask this in the name Yahweh Sabaoth, The Host Of Heaven's Armies, the God who has multitudes of men and angels waiting for His command.
"Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts,
you his servants who do his will."

Bots Now Make Up More Than Half of Internet Traffic. Here's How It's Affecting Businesses
|
|
More than half of all internet traffic now comes from bots, analysts say, and for businesses, that means reaching customers may be more challenging than ever. The flood of artificial intelligence-powered bots is forcing small businesses especially to find new strategies to make human connections.
“When traffic is overblown, making advertising decisions becomes impossible,” business owner Cameron Figgins told The Epoch Times. “I’ve seen monthly analytics with 30 [to] 40 percent of site visits as non-human.”
Figgins owns Absolute Maintenance and Consulting, a California company that specializes in remediating mold and water damage. He said the flood of AI bots visiting his company’s website costs real-world money. “Imagine that you’re spending $2,000 a month on paid ads, with one third of your clicks being bots. You’re wasting $600 to $700 a month with nothing to show for it,” he said.
Business owner Ilya Ornatov said he’s having the same problem. “I run a house cleaning business, but our website is basically our number one salesperson,” Ornatov, the owner of NW Maids, told The Epoch Times. “If you’re a small business, it’s like losing one full employee per day for an entire month each month.” Cameron Figgins, small business owner. Abba, the more tech savvy we become the more convoluted our lives seem to be! What has been touted as "tools to simplify life" has become increasingly more complicated and less relational But You created us to need one another...something is upside down! Father God, we ask for Your help in putting our lives and society back into proper order, Give us eyes to see and wisdom to understand that our present pathway does NOT make life easier in ALL things, just specific things, things of earth but not of heaven. Holy Spirit, send out angels to speak words of truth and wisdom to every believer, let the truth cause us to take inventory of what is in our hearts. Is the desire to seek Your face and follow after You our first priority or is this world our priority. Jesus, bring all of Your kids to a place of knowing their absolute need of You, no matter how old we are. We ask this in the name Yahweh Jireh, The Lord Will Provide.
"He provided redemption for his people; he ordained
his covenant forever -- holy and awesome is his name." (Psalm 111:9)

"Tsunami of Hate" Against Jews in Medicine and Hospitals, Researches Say
|
|
“We decided that it was time for a rigorous narrative review of what we called anatomy of antisemitism in the health professions, not just medicine but across-the-board,” one of the authors of a new paper told JNS.
At the University of California, Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine, Jews were labeled as oppressors. Patients were afraid to be identified as Jews at the University of California, San Francisco, and protesters targeted medical schools in New York City and demanded the destruction of the State of Israel.
These are some of the antisemitic incidents that erupted in hospitals, dental schools, psychology conferences and elsewhere since Oct. 7, according to a new study published in the Rambam Maimonides Medical Journal.
“After Oct. 7, the landscape shifted in a seismic way, not that antisemitism was brand new, because we do have a history of quotas to limit Jewish enrollment in medicine and other examples of discrimination against Jewish doctors,” Hedy Wald, clinical professor of family medicine at Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School and a co-author of the study, told JNS.
“But you had medical students and health professionals posting horrific things on social media, very antisemitic, very anti-Israel biased, and starting to see this appear in medical journals,” said Wald, who holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from Yeshiva University.
She told JNS that she and her co-author, Dr. Steven Roth, Michael Reese endowed professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and associate head for research, for faculty development, and for faculty affairs in the anesthesiology department, found examples of Jew-hatred in medicine that amounted to a “tsunami of hate.” Read more

Abba, what an outrage!! Your heart must be broken to see the enemy once again come against Your people with lies just as before. We don't know what it will take to break the enemies' hold on so many hearts that have been hardened, but You do. We ask You to send out angels to guide and direct not just intercessors but the entire praying church in what needs to be prayed through and how to do that. Give us instructions on pulling down strongholds of hatred, teach us how to discern what is involved and how to bind it, release Your power into our prayers, decrees, and declarations that they WILL accomplish what they are sent out to do. We ask this in the name El Gibhor, Mighty God, the God who will accomplish the destruction of His enemies and rule with a rod of iron.
"Good judgement wins favor, but the way
of the unfaithful leads to their destruction."

1. Israel pushes back on US plan to coordinate military moves with Turkey in Syria
- i24 News
Israel is resisting efforts by the United States to create a deconfliction mechanism to coordinate Israeli and Turkish military actions in Syria.
US Special Envoy Tom Barrack has been leading the effort to prevent unintended military confrontations in Syria between Israel and Turkey.
Washington wants fewer surprises and more coordination. However, Jerusalem is worried that any mechanism would eventually evolve into an intelligence sharing framework that would restrict Israel's freedom of action in Syria.
Israel prefers that Turkey be prevented from permanent deployments to Syria altogether, rather than coordinate military activity with Turkey. (Read more)

2. No green light granted to entry of int’l force into Gaza, Israel says
- World Israel News
Israel’s political leadership has not approved the entry of the International Stabilization Force into Gaza, the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem said on Thursday.
The PMO added that, contrary to reports, “Israel has made clear there will be no reconstruction in the Strip before Hamas is fully disarmed.”
The ISF is an integral part of the 20-point Trump Gaza plan and is envisioned as “a long-term internal security solution” for Gaza.
Indonesia, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, and Albania have expressed their commitment to deploy troops for the ISF, Reuters reported in February. (Read more)

3. Hamas Uses Gaza Hospital for Torture, Interrogation of Palestinians, IDF Says
- Algemeiner
Hamas has been using Nasser Hospital in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis to torture and interrogate Palestinians, according to Israeli authorities.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency released a joint statement on Thursday saying they can now reveal intelligence showing that Hamas “conducts security interrogations and torture” at the hospital.
According to the statement, Hamas “sees an erosion in its support among the residents of the Gaza Strip and fears that it will lose its grip on the population,” causing the Palestinian terrorist group to ramp up its efforts to intimidate Gazans and crush any dissent.

4. Budget bonanza: Israeli military to get massive cash infusion - Israel Hayom
In recent days, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu decided to push the transfer through despite resistance from the Budget Division (the Finance Ministry unit overseeing state expenditure), which had cited the legal prohibition on large out-of-budget fund transfers during an election period.
Sources familiar with the details said the legal advisory unit had come to recognize the military's pressing needs and was now expected to stand down from its opposition. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, himself a holdout, signaled he would allow the minimum essential funds to flow to maintain the IDF's combat readiness. The larger force-buildup budget that has gone untransferred for three years will be left for the next government to resolve.
On a parallel front, the military's ammunition production apparatus was found to require raw material procurement to sustain ammunition output through year's end. (Read more)

5. UN Security Council ‘emergency’ meetings have become political tool against Israel, Danon says - JNS
Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon called on Wednesday for changes to the U.N. Security Council’s process for convening emergency meetings, which he said has become a political tool used disproportionately against the Jewish state.
“It shouldn’t be that you just send a fax or email and you have a session,” Danon told JNS, ahead of his remarks. “It should be not only one country, maybe three countries, and actually use it when it’s needed, not for political usage.”
Danon spoke to JNS in the Qatari lounge shortly before addressing the Security Council on Wednesday afternoon.
He proposed requiring the support of three council members to convene an emergency meeting, rather than allowing a single member to request one, and to establish clearer criteria for what constitutes an “emergency.” (Read more)

1. US Appeals Court Rejects State’s Restrictions on Absentee Ballots for Voters Under 65 – The Epoch Times
South Carolina violated the U.S. Constitution with its laws restricting the use of absentee voting by voters under 65, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit ruled on Tuesday.
The laws in question place distinctions on who can access a mail-in or absentee ballot and who cannot. People over 65 are given a specific carve-out in South Carolina election law, making it easiest for these voters to obtain absentee ballots.
However, voters under 65 have been more restricted in their access to such ballots. For these voters, obtaining an absentee ballot requires that they submit proof from their employer that they won’t be available on Election Day, that they are attending to a sick or disabled person, are jailed, or that they will be outside the county where they reside on Election Day.
In 2023, five voters in South Carolina brought suit, saying that the law violated their Equal Protection rights. Read more

Father God, we believe also that the 26th Constitutional Amendment does not allow different rules for different groups of legal voters, in this case, age groups. However, Lord, we do agree that there has been considerable election fraud directly related to the use of absentee ballots. We earnestly pray, then, that the proper common sense laws and boundaries be erected that would directly address these improprieties at the ballot box; and, at the same time, may they be in agreement with the U.S. Constitution and be equally applied to all groups of legal voters.
Lord, may Your handpicked Congressional leaders receive Godly wisdom, guidance and especially favor, in working to establish laws regarding absentee voting that will protect the integrity of election results in the national elections to come. In Yeshua’s all-powerful name, Amen and Amen!!!
"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness." (I Timothy 2:1-2)

2. United States debt hits $40 trillion for first time in history – Just the news
The United States' debt reached $40 trillion for the first time in history on Wednesday, highlighting the growing fiscal challenges facing the federal government as Washington continues to run large budget deficits.
Treasury data showed that the national debt is now $40,,047,425,768,420.22, with $32.26 trillion being held by the public and $7.78 trillion held by intragovernmental holdings.
The debt has continued climbing after the government crossed the $39 trillion threshold in March. The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget said the milestone came as the federal deficit was approaching $2 trillion.
The U.S. borrowing pace has remained substantial in fiscal 2026. The federal government recorded a $432 billion deficit in July, bringing the deficit for the first 10 months of the fiscal year to approximately $1.8 trillion, according to Treasury data. Read more

Lord God, Your word states that “The borrower is slave to the lender.” – (Proverbs 22:7). This implies that we, and our posterity, have become slaves to the lenders and will remain so until the $40 trillion has been repaid. Abba, this takes our breath away and implies present and future entanglements that are not conducive to freedom and the abundant life that You desire for Your children.
We cry out, “Lord, save us—save us from our sins and those of our present and ancestral leaders who did not follow Your wisdom and guidance—we are now burdened with this massive debt and are ashamed that this burden will be transferred onto our children’s shoulders. We also cry, “MERCY, ABBA!” May Your people pray for supernatural deliverance until the bowls of incense in heaven have tipped. Last of all, Abba, we pray that we learn the needed lessons from our current predicament. May the Church of the USA receive the Truth and Your boldness to preach and live it, loud and clear! In Yeshua’s name, Amen!
"The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." (Proverbs 22:7)

3. Trump to meet with Kim Jong Un – Just the News
President Donald Trump on Wednesday told reporters that he planned to meet with North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sometime this year.
"Yeah, I will," Trump told reporters when asked if he planned to meet with Kim this year.
"The fact that I get along with him, that's a good thing," Trump added. "He has 57 very powerful nuclear weapons... I know Kim Jong Un very well and he's gonna be fine."
Trump's comments follow the administration downscaling planned military exercises with South Korea, which he seemed to attribute to Seoul's unwillingness to aid in the Iran war.
He later shared a meme of Kim calling him on the phone to confirm that relations between both countries were stable. Read more

Lord God,
We pray for wisdom and discernment for President Trump as he plans to meet with North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un
sometime later this year. Lord, we pray for Your divine protection from Your angelic hosts for President Trump as he meets with this untrustworthy leader who has many nuclear weapons in his arsenal.
We pray, Father, that this meeting will not adversely affect the relationship that America has with South Korea. Lord, only You can determine the hearts of prideful men and only You can raise them up and remove them at Your will. Place many watchmen around our President and give him good counsel if indeed he goes through with this meeting. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

4. Scott Jennings Being Courted to Replace Karoline Leavitt Reportedly - 'It's His if He Wants It... and He Does' – Western Journal
CNN commentator Scott Jennings is being pushed to replace Karline Leavitt as White House press secretary, according to a new report.
According to the Daily Mail, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles is pushing for Jennings, 48, to replace Karoline Leavitt, who is stepping down to spend time with her family.

Father God,
We will surely miss Karoline Leavitt as White House Press Secretary who held her ground when being pushed by reporters. As she steps down to spend more time with her family we ask, Father, that You bless and protect her and her children for a job well done.
As Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, pushes for CNN commentator, Scott Jennings, to take over this position,President Trump will make that final decision. Lord, as President Trump continues to meet with multiple candidates for this position, we pray for direction and a clear mind for him to pick a strong anointed man or woman with good moral judgement to fill the position of
White House Press Secretary.
Father, we pray for Your will to be done in this decision. In Your Mighty name, we pray. Amen and Amen.

5. Incumbent Bloodbath: Highest Number of House Reps Unseated in Primaries in Over 50 Years – Western Journal
The 2026 primary election cycle has had the highest number of House incumbent losses in a non-redistricting year in over 50 years.
Republican Florida Rep. Cory Mills became the eleventh incumbent House member to lose a primary this year, marking the highest number of incumbent losses since 1970.
The only times the totals came close were in 1974 and 2020, when eight incumbents lost their bids, and in 1980, when six incumbents lost, according to The Hill.
Incumbency was long seen as a political advantage, though Congress’ disapproval rating has stood at record highs throughout the election cycle.
In April, it stood at a record high of 86 percent, while 10 percent of respondents approved, according to a Gallup poll. The approval rating stood at 16 percent as of July, while the disapproval rating was 80 percent, according to Gallup. Read more

6. Top FDA Official Urged Fauci, NIH Head to Study Problems After COVID-19 Vaccination – The Epoch Times
A top Food and Drug Administration (FDA) official told counterparts at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that they should study health issues that arose in some people after receiving COVID-19 vaccines, according to newly released emails.
Dr. Janet Woodcock, then-acting commissioner of the FDA, wrote to Dr. Francis Collins, then-head of the NIH, and Dr. Anthony Fauci, then-director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, in one of the emails, on May 27, 2021, about five months after COVID-19 vaccination started.
“I have been contacted by a number of people who have experienced adverse events post COVID-19 vaccination (from all three of the current vaccines),” Woodcock wrote.
“Many are healthcare professionals, some of whom I know. The symptoms do not fit together into a distinctive syndrome and most are not easily quantifiable or evaluated with standard laboratory testing. Clearly during mass vaccination you will get a lot of psychological reactions and it is hard to sort these things out. But the peoples’ main complaint is that no one takes them seriously, no one knows how to treat them, and there is no effort to study this.”
Woodcock said that “it would be worthwhile to do a study and evaluate a cohort of these individuals.” Such a study would need money, since the industry would likely not support it, and an investigator interested in “medical mysteries,” she said. “My experience is, that if you let a problem fester, then it will come back to bite you later and you are not prepared,” she said. Lord God, we thank You for the wisdom of Dr. Janet Woodcock, who tried to warn Dr. Fauci and his team to study the impact of the COVID 19 virus, lest worse would follow. We repent that he did not heed her counsel, and we are grateful that the United States Senate has now taken measures to hold him accountable for his wicked and evil actions which has taken the lives of literally millions of our American citizens. We praise You, O Lord, in Jesus' name, amen and amen!

Is the Democratic Party Becoming the Vehicle for Socialism?
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, August 20, 2026
The Democratic Socialists of America has been remarkably candid about its destination. Its National Electoral Commission says electoral organizing helps build working-class political power “in order to win socialism.” DSA candidates are using the Democratic Party ballot line. That presents Democrats with this important question: Is the party openly providing the electoral infrastructure through which an organized socialist movement can accumulate political power? Current law protects peaceful political organization and electoral advocacy. Yet Americans should understand what is happening before them. Socialism does not need to storm Washington when voters can be persuaded to carry it through the front door.
Federal law already recognizes a boundary between political advocacy and revolutionary activity. The Smith Act, 18 U.S.C. §2385, criminalizes certain advocacy and organization involving overthrow or destruction of government by force or violence. Supreme Court precedent protects abstract political advocacy unless it is directed toward producing imminent lawless action and likely to produce such action. Consequently, organizing voters to peacefully elect socialists is protected political activity. That raises a different and increasingly relevant question: Is it time for America to examine whether movements seeking to replace essential characteristics of our constitutional republic should be able to accomplish peacefully through the ballot what they could never lawfully accomplish through force? Shocking prehistoric discovery on NJ beach '100%' came from colossal ancient predator

Father and son uncovered 'highly uncommon' monster shark tooth between rocks in popular beach spot
|
|
|
A family's search for seashells on the Jersey Shore took an unexpected turn when a father and son uncovered the tooth of an ancient shark — and it dates back millions of years.
Mike Bowers and his son, Bo Bowers, uncovered the fossil, which came from an Otodus megalodon, in Sea Isle City near the Townsend Inlet on August 11.
Megalodons were the largest predatory sharks in Earth's history, and went extinct around 4 million years ago. Pictures of the tooth show its massive size and dark, jagged edge, with the fossil measuring roughly the length of young Bo Bowers' hand.
The Pennsylvania family had been vacationing in Wildwood when an overcast day prompted them to look for somewhere different to search for shells, Mike Bowers told Fox News Digital.
"There was a rock jetty and a real nice looking beach," said Mike Bowers. "And I was like, well, let's go check it out." The father noticed something in a small opening between two rocks, but his hand was too large to fit, so he called his son over.
Bo Bowers told Fox News Digital that he was initially hesitant to reach into the rocks but grabbed the tooth as soon as he saw it. (Fox News) Read More
