Khomeini’s Grandson Warns: U.S. ‘Will Die’ Before Iran is Humiliated, Israel Will Be ‘Erased’ if Muslim Nations Gain Power

Americans “will die” before Iran is humiliated, warned Ali Ahmad Khomeini, the grandson of the Islamic Republic’s founder, who also insisted Israel would be “erased” if Muslim nations ever acquire the military capability to do so.

In remarks aired Wednesday on Lebanese television channel Al Mayadeen TV and translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute, Khomeini said the threat was conditional on Islamic nations acquiring the means to strike Israel.

During the interview, he claimed that Israel and its allies fully understand what he described as the underlying intentions of Muslim nations toward the Jewish state.

“The Israelis know full well that if a day comes when any Islamic nation is capable of firing missiles at Israel and striking Israel, and if they are capable of erasing Israel, they will do to Israel what Hamas did to it,” Khomeini said.

When pressed by the interviewer on whether he meant all Islamic nations, Khomeini responded unequivocally.

“All of them. Today we see that some countries in the region are not fulfilling their duty, saying that they are incapable of doing so,” he said. “Israel knows, America knows, and the leaders of the superpowers know that if a day comes when the Islamic countries are capable of bombing Israel, they will do it.”

The interviewer again sought clarification on whether he meant Gulf, Arab, and other Islamic countries, to which the revolutionary leader’s grandson replied, “All of the Muslim nations.”

Khomeini also emphasized defiance and confrontation, framing Iran’s posture as unyielding. “We are not afraid of them at all, because we are steadfast and we are defending our rights and our country,” he said. He is then seen issuing a direct threat aimed at the United States. “We say to the Americans: you will die before you see us humiliated.” (Breitbart) Read more here.

We know the threats we face live among us, but we also know Your protection is here. When all feels in chaos, we Thank You for the calming nature of Psalm 23. We plead the blood of Jesus over our nation, and we cover all of these threats and curse words in the blood of Jesus, that they will have no effect in your name. Amen.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4)

US expects ‘substantive content’ and nuclear concessions from Iran at next meeting
Netanyahu’s urgent trip to Washington comes amid Israeli concerns over stalled Iran talks and U.S. envoy responses, with Jerusalem worried about gaps on missiles and regional threat

The US administration has told Iran that it expects Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and the Iranian delegation to arrive at the next round of nuclear talks “with significant content,” two sources familiar with the matter told i24NEWS.

The initial meeting between the parties was described as a “good meeting,” but focused primarily on procedural issues rather than substantive negotiations.

The developments come as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu prepares for a hastily arranged meeting with US President Donald Trump on Wednesday, sources say. Israeli officials are dissatisfied with the responses provided last week by US envoy Steve Witkoff during his talks with Netanyahu and senior defense officials.

Jerusalem is increasingly concerned that the current trajectory of the US-led talks with Iran may not meet Israel’s core security demands, particularly regarding Tehran’s ballistic missile program and support for regional proxy groups. Criticism of Witkoff’s approach has grown in Israel amid fears that any emerging deal could leave these issues insufficiently addressed. (i24news) Read more here.

Lord God, we continue to pray for the president and those making decisions on foreign policy that you would help them and give them wisdom.  We come against all bribes and backdoor deals to try and cause division in the Middle East, in Jesus' name. And we pray all involved would make honorable decisions. Amen.

Treasury secretary predicts blockbuster 2026 for US economy as Dow hits historic milestone
Bessent says cooling inflation, record stock gains signal a recovery is headed for American wallets

The Trump economy is beginning to deliver, and Americans are poised to see the benefits, according to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. He pointed to cooling inflation and record market highs as signs that "Main Street is about to prosper."

Bessent said current market trends reflect growing confidence in President Donald Trump’s policies. He described them as having "set the table" for economic gains in 2026.

It comes as many Democrats have criticized Trump’s economic policies, including concerns about affordability and the potential impact of tariffs on consumer prices.

"The president's plan is working. The Trump economy is delivering for the American people," Bessent said on "Sunday Morning Futures."

He noted the economy is experiencing ‘strong growth’ and that inflation is easing toward the Federal Reserve’s 2% target.

Bessent also pointed to record highs across the stock market, including gains in industrial and small-cap stocks. He said those trends typically signal broader economic expansion is on the way. (Fox News) Read more here.

President Trump Readies Rule to Make American Workers’ Retirement Great Again

President Trump has been steadfast in his commitment to leveling the playing field and expanding choice: “My Administration will relieve the regulatory burdens and litigation risk that impede American workers’ retirement accounts from achieving the competitive returns and asset diversification necessary to secure a dignified, comfortable retirement.”

This change couldn’t come soon enough. While some Americans are still falling behind in retirement savings, the elites keep getting richer. The Trump administration wants to make sure that America’s workers and retirees are protected and that they can build wealth.

And Americans want this.

A recent national poll found that 65 percent of American voters strongly support the inclusion of private-market options in 401(k) retirement plans. That’s because Americans want more freedom and more opportunity.

At its core, this fight is about fairness. Giving you the flexibility and choice to invest as you see fit, so you can secure the financial future you want.

President Trump promised he would put the American people and their economic prosperity first. With this move, he’s delivering on yet another promise and finally making it easier for all Americans to achieve economic success. (Breitbart) Read more here.

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. IDF detains more than 20 terrorists in Judea and Samaria - JNS

The Israel Defense Forces and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) apprehended more than 20 Palestinian terrorists and wanted individuals overnight Sunday in counter-terrorism operations across Judea and Samaria.

The IDF Samaria Brigade arrested a terrorist involved in the purchase and possession of weapons, as well as in planning to harm Israeli soldiers and civilians, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said.

Four more suspects were detained during the operation in the area.

In a separate operation, IDF troops and Border Police fighters apprehended seven terrorists involved in the production of explosives and weapons trafficking in the area of Ya’bad, west of Jenin in northern Samaria. (Read more)

2. First foreign force in Gaza - from Indonesia - Israel National News

Indonesia, the world’s largest Muslim-majority nation, is expected to become the first country to deploy troops to the international force slated to operate in Gaza under the Board Of Peace, according to a report by Kan News.

If carried out, the deployment would be highly unusual, as Indonesia has no formal diplomatic relations with Israel.

The report says logistical preparations are already in progress. Indonesian forces are expected to be stationed in the southern Gaza Strip, in the area between Rafah and Khan Younis. (Read more)

3. Hamas floats an 'alternative' to disarmament in new bluff - Israel Hayom

Senior Hamas official Khaled Mashal, who heads the terrorist organization's operations abroad, spoke Sunday at an Al Jazeera forum in Qatar, addressing the demand to demilitarize the Gaza Strip. Instead of Israel's demand for disarmament, Mashal proposed what he called "guarantees," including a long-term ceasefire lasting several years and a commitment to the "non-public display of weapons."

According to Mashal, "disarmament under Israel is an attempt to turn the Palestinians into an easy target to eliminate." He argued that a framework of guarantees could instead be established "through the mediators" to ensure the continuation of Gaza's reconstruction process.

Mashal, a member of Hamas' leadership council, said the terrorist organization had presented various parties with a formula under which guarantees would be provided that the war in Gaza would not resume and that weapons would not be displayed publicly. He said the idea revolved around how arms could be concealed and preserved without being used or shown. (Read more)

4. Jerusalem-area brothers charged with spying for Iran - World Israel News

Two brothers in their 20s from the Jerusalem area were charged Monday with spying for Iran in exchange for payment.

According to the indictment filed in the Jerusalem District Court, one brother, with the assistance of the other, maintained contact with Iranian intelligence officials over several months, passing on sensitive security information while fully aware they were acting under foreign direction.

Prosecutors said the pair carried out multiple “security missions” on Iran’s behalf.

The charges include contact with a foreign agent, providing information to the enemy, and jointly transmitting intelligence that could benefit a hostile entity. (Read more)

5. Herzog condemns ‘Globalize the Intifada’ as anti-Israel chant rings out in Sydney
- Jerusalem Post

As President Isaac Herzog drew a straight line in the capital of New South Wales on Monday night connecting the antisemitism embodied in the chant “Globalize the Intifada” and the attack on Bondi Beach, police just a few kilometers away were battling anti-Israel protesters chanting that very slogan.

“The hatred that triggered the shooting at Bondi is the very same age-old plague of antisemitism endured by our parents and grandparents,” Herzog told an estimated crowd of 4,000 people at the TikTok Entertainment Center during a remembrance ceremony for the Bondi victims and solidarity with the Australian Jewish community.

Referring to the attack that killed 15 people in December, Herzog said, “The horrors in Israel, empowered by jihadi extremism, reared their ugly head here as well… This is what it means to ‘Globalize the Intifada.’” (Read more

1. White House frustrations with Venezuela’s Machado grow after elections comments - POLITICO

“As the President stated, there will be elections at the right time, but his top priority is to bring Venezuela back from the dead and rebuild the country,” a White House official said in a statement to POLITICO. “When the country has recovered to the point where it can hold clean, transparent elections, it will be up to the Venezuelan people to choose their leader. We want a stable, prosperous, free, and friendly Venezuela, but this cannot happen overnight.”

The State Department did not respond to a request for comment.

Machado did not say in her POLITICO interview that she wanted to see elections right away. She told POLITICO “we believe that a real transparent process with manual voting, total audit throughout the process, could be done in nine to ten months.” She added “that depends on when you start” and also did not call for the technical process to reach elections to begin. We pray for success of rebuilding Venezuela.  We pray they can have clean election in a record amount of time to choose their new leader.

3. ‘Grind the country to a halt’: Democrat urges national strike if Trump meddles in midterms - The Guardian

The Democratic senator Ruben Gallego has proposed that, should Donald Trump try to sabotage the midterm elections, Americans should respond with a general strike that would “grind the country to a halt”.

Earlier this week the US president called for Republicans to “take over” and “nationalise” voting in at least 15 unspecified locations, repeating his false claims that elections are plagued by widespread fraud.

On Thursday, Gallego, a senator for Arizona and an Iraq war veteran, warned that Trump could seek to interfere with the November midterms that will determine control of Congress – and urged citizens to fight fire with fire.

“We have to prepare for the outmost scenario, the worst scenario, which is they try to either capture the ballot box as ballots are being counted, they try to stop the count, they try to surround polling places, whatever it is,” he told the Court of History podcast with political historians Sidney Blumenthal and Sean Wilentz.

“We need to make sure that we have an ultimate response to that which, I believe, has to be a true national strike in the sense that, if they do this, if they try to overthrow our democracy, if you are allied with democracy, do not go to work. If you’re a pilot, do not show up. If you drive a train, do not show up. If you’re a teacher, do not show up. We grind the country to a halt.” (Read more)

Lord, we pray peace upon the midterm elections. And that they will go smoothly, and there will be no need to bring the country to a grinding halt as this senator has suggested.

4. Top European court to hear cases against Turkey labeling Christians ‘security threat’ - Christian Post

The European Court of Human Rights has opened proceedings in 20 cases involving Christians barred from re-entering Turkey after being designated as national security threats. The individuals, mostly foreign residents, say they were denied entry or residence solely for peacefully practicing their faith.

The Turkish government has used internal codes like “N-82” and “G-87” to issue entry bans or deny permit renewals to at least 160 foreign Christians since 2019, according to the legal advocacy group ADF International.

Most affected individuals had no criminal record or history of unlawful activity. In multiple instances, the only common link was public involvement in Christian worship or ministry, including pastors, teachers and missionaries.

The European court formally “communicated” the cases in a joint action, signaling that the cases are sufficiently similar to be examined together. Turkey has been asked to submit its observations in response.

“Peaceful worship and participation in church life are not threats to national security,” said Lidia Rider, legal officer for ADF International. (Read more)

We pray these Christians seeking to re-enter Turkey will be granted permission to do so, and they will no longer be labeled as a
Security threat.

5. US gave Ukraine and Russia a June deadline to reach agreement to end war, Zelenskyy says - AP News

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — The U.S. has given Ukraine and Russia a June deadline to reach a deal to end the nearly four‑year war, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told reporters, as Russian strikes on energy infrastructure forced nuclear power plants to cut output on Saturday.

If the June deadline is not met, the Trump administration will likely put pressure on both sides to meet it, he added.

“The Americans are proposing the parties end the war by the beginning of this summer and will probably put pressure on the parties precisely according to this schedule,” Zelenskyy said, speaking to reporters on Friday. Zelenskyy’s comments were embargoed until Saturday morning.

“And they say that they want to do everything by June. And they will do everything to end the war. And they want a clear schedule of all events,” he said.

He said the U.S. proposed holding the next round of trilateral talks next week in their country for the first time, likely in Miami, Zelenskyy said. “We confirmed our participation,” he added. (Read more)

We pray this deadline is met to end this war by June. We pray the upcoming talks will be successful,  and both parties will take quick action to end this war.

6. Portugal extends state of emergency amid destruction brought by Storm Leonardo - Euronews.com

Portugal's government is extending a state of emergency until the end of next week as it says it is facing a "devastating crisis" caused by a wave of storms that have killed several people in recent weeks.

"In the coming hours many will continue to face situations of extreme difficulties," Speaking during a press conference in Lisbon, Prime Minister Luis Montenegro said.

"I would like to reiterate a very determined appeal for that in these crucial hours everyone follows the recommendations from the authorities, the risks cannot be ignored," Montenegro stated.

"This is a devastating crisis, a crisis that will impose a long and demanding recovery process," he added. (Read more)

We pray for Portugal and the devastation they are experiencing from storms in their country.  Help them to restore their country quickly and better than before.

I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you. “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame. (Joel 2:25-26)

The Daily Jot

From Sinai to Messiah

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, February 9. 2026

Exodus 18:1–12, Yitro, shifts the Exodus story from rescue to relationship. Jethro arrives and sees Moses exhausted, carrying the weight of leadership alone. His counsel to delegate becomes a quiet but essential prelude to Sinai. God is shaping a people who will live under His rule, not through chaos, but through order and shared responsibility. The Exodus was never an end in itself. From the burning bush onward, the LORD made clear that deliverance had a destination. “When you have led the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain” (Exodus 3:12). Sinai was the goal, the place where God would reveal His will, His character, and His covenant to a redeemed people.

The drama at Mount Sinai is deliberate and overwhelming. Thunder, lightning, thick cloud, and the sound of the shofar announce that the Creator of heaven and earth has drawn near. Israel consecrates itself for three days, preparing to encounter holiness. God declares His purpose plainly, calling Israel to be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. The Ten Commandments are spoken directly, leaving no doubt about their divine origin. The people tremble and ask Moses to stand between them and God, not because God is cruel, but because His holiness exposes human frailty. Moses ascends the mountain to receive further revelation, marking him as mediator and servant, while the people stand at the foot of the mountain, witnesses to a moment that would define them forever.

Exclusive: Leavitt Announces Trump’s ‘Unprecedented’ Legal Maneuver to Get Permits for L.A. Fire Victims

On Friday’s “Alex Marlow Show,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt talked about Los Angeles fire recovery.

Leavitt said, “The president has taken the unprecedented step of signing an executive order to basically go around the state and local permitting process.”

The Alex Marlow Show, hosted by Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow, broadcasts coast to coast on weekdays from noon to 1 p.m. Eastern on the Salem Radio Network stations. You can listen to the radio show online here. The show also airs at 9 p.m. Eastern on the Salem TV news channel. Marlow’s podcast, The Alex Marlow Show Presented by Breitbart News, is released weekdays at 9 p.m. Eastern. You can subscribe to the podcast on YouTube, Rumble, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify

Lord God, we thank You that our president has taken this step to ensure that the citizens, whose lives and homes were destroyed in those fires in California one year ago, would be able now to rebuild. We recall that, in the press conference at that time, the local authorities promised that these permits would be issued immediately. Once again, the local Democratic authorities have lied, so that, one year later, our president has promised to do what they have not done. Thank You, Father God, in
Jesus' name, amen and amen!

Ghislaine Maxwell told lawmakers Trump, Clinton 'innocent of any wrongdoing' regarding Epstein
Maxwell appeared virtually before the committee on Monday morning

The House Oversight Committee's deposition of Ghislaine Maxwell ended less than an hour after it began on Monday morning, when the convicted accomplice of the late Jeffrey Epstein pleaded the Fifth Amendment.

Maxwell appeared before lawmakers virtually for a closed-door interview in the House bipartisan probe into the federal government's handling of Epstein's case.

Her attorney apparently told lawmakers, however, that she could not implicate neither President Donald Trump nor former President Bill Clinton in any wrongdoing.

"[B]oth President Trump and President Clinton are innocent of any wrongdoing. Ms. Maxwell alone can explain why, and the public is entitled to that explanation," lawyer David Oscar Markus posted on X after the deposition.

Markus also told lawmakers that she would only answer questions if her prison sentence was cut short by Trump, according to the statement.

"If this Committee and the American public truly want to hear the unfiltered truth about what happened, there is a straightforward path. Ms. Maxwell is prepared to speak fully and honestly if granted clemency by President Trump.   Only she can provide the complete account. Some may not like what they hear, but the truth matters," his statement said.

Maxwell is currently serving out a 20-year sentence at a Texas prison.

"As expected, Ghislaine Maxwell took the fifth and refused to answer any questions. This is obviously very disappointing," House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., told reporters after the deposition. "We had many questions to ask about the crime she and Epstein committed, as well as questions about potential co-conspirators. We sincerely want to get to the truth for the American people and justice for the survivors."

Comer said Maxwell's lawyer told the committee that she would only answer questions if she was granted clemency by President Donald Trump.

Democrats on the panel, who spoke after Comer, accused Maxwell of trying to lobby for a pardon and demanded that Trump publicly rule out the possibility.

"What we did get was another episode in her long-running campaign for clemency from President Trump, and President Trump could end that today," said Rep. James Walkinshaw, D-Va. "He could rule out clemency for Ghislaine Maxwell, the monster. The question for all of us today is why hasn't he done that?"

Comer told reporters on Monday that five more depositions would happen in the coming weeks including former Victoria's Secret CEO Les Wexner on Feb. 18, Hillary Clinton on Feb. 26, Bill Clinton on Feb. 27, Epstein accountant Richard Khan on March 11, and Epstein attorney Darren Indyke on March 19. (Fox News) Read more here.
Lord God, no matter how long this Epstein disaster drags on, and no matter how many souls are involved, in the end we know that justice will be served, because You are a God of justice, and only Your will shall rule over our nation.

We ask that all lost souls in this drama would come to repentance, and find salvation under Your shed Blood. Amen and amen.

“If My people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then, I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14; NKJV)
Dear prayer warriors,

In a briefing and strategy meeting with a coalition of prayer leaders, many of whom are global in scope, there was a general consensus that we need to mobilize prayer for Israel and America against terrorist attacks, especially between February 19th and May 24th, Pentecost Sunday.
Pray with us:

1. Special prayer coverage against attacks from both international and domestic terrorist groups.
2. Pray for the uncovering of terrorist cells in the nations.
3. Pray for the FBI and the Mossad to have eyes to see and ears to hear about planned attacks.
4. Intercede that all long-term takeover plans and invasions be exposed and stopped. Focus particularly on plans by radical Islamic groups.
5. Pray for government leaders not to be ignorant, or even naïve, as to the danger to our nations.
6. Spend time fasting for the protection of individuals, families, and large groups of people. and for the future of our nations,
For the future of our nations,

He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

Ancient Christians lived alongside followers of mysterious faith 1,500 years ago, archaeologists say
German archaeologists uncovered 1,500-year-old church remains near fortress in Kurdistan region of Iraq

Archaeologists in Iraq recently uncovered evidence suggesting that Christians co-existed with a now-little-known religion.

The discovery, announced by Goethe University Frankfurt in Germany, was made public in December.

The excavations began in the late summer of 2025. They focused on a building complex at the Gird-î Kazhaw site in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, built around 500 A.D.

Archaeologists were unsure what purpose the complex had in ancient days — until they found five square pillars that "suggested that it might be a church," the university release said.

"Geophysical investigations had revealed more walls underground, so that this ‘church’ was initially believed to be part of a larger monastery," the release also noted.

Archaeologists also found additional stone pillars "which point to the existence of perhaps a three-nave structure," along with the remains of a Christian meeting place.

Pottery with a Maltese cross was also recovered there.
The site's proximity to a nearby Sasanian fortification is particularly significant, researchers said, as it may indicate that Christians and Zoroastrians lived side by side in the region. (Fox News) Read More
