Florida Abortions Drop 46% After Heartbeat Law Saves Thousands of Babies
In a powerful affirmation of Florida’s commitment to protecting the unborn, new state data shows that abortions performed in Florida clinics have plummeted by almost half since the implementation of the state’s six-week heartbeat protection law. According to the Tampa Bay Times, utilizing data from the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) “Just over 44,200 abortions were provided by Florida clinics last year, the fewest for more than a decade and a 46% drop from 2022 when more than 82,000 terminations were recorded.”
This dramatic decline is no accident. Florida’s law, which halted abortions once a heartbeat is detectable, has clearly made a difference. Fewer babies are losing their lives in our state clinics, and that is cause for celebration.
Even the most vulnerable cases show the law’s impact. The number of abortions under the rape exception fell sharply to 58 last year — roughly 50% fewer than in each of the past five years — highlighting that life-affirming policies are helping more women choose life even in difficult circumstances. Benghazi terror suspect extradited to face US charges
Zubayr Al-Bakoush has been charged with murder, terror and arson, all in relation to the 2012 attack
The U.S. has arrested Zubayr Al-Bakoush, alleged to be one of the leaders of the 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel and U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced the arrest on Friday. Bondi said that Al-Bakoush was charged with charges of murder, terror and arson, all related to the 2012 attack.
"Zubayr Al-Bakoush will now face American justice on American soil. We will prosecute this alleged terrorist to the fullest extent of the law," Bondi said on Friday. "Let this case serve as a reminder: If you commit a crime against the American people anywhere in this world, President Trump's Justice Department will find you. It might not happen overnight, but it will happen. You can run, but you cannot hide."
Bondi also took a swipe at former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who infamously said "what difference does it make?" when asked in a hearing about the cause of the deadly attack.
Patel said that Al-Bakoush was arrested "overseas," but did not give details on the exact location where the alleged terrorist was apprehended. "I'm extremely thankful to the CIA and Director Ratcliffe and our other law enforcement partners for making sure that the world knows that if you kill an American citizen in an act of terrorism, we will hunt you down," Patel said on Friday. Maryland Man Charged with Attempted Murder of Trump OMB Russell Vought
A Maryland Man has been charged with the attempted murder of the Trump-appointed Russell Vought, director of the Office of Management and Budget.
Colin Demarco, age 26, who reportedly feared Trump’s reelection would lead to a “fascist takeover,” was charged after he appeared at Vought’s Northern Virginia home wearing a surgical mask and gloves, court records show. U.S. Marshals Service reportedly found during the investigation that Demarco had claimed to have written a manifesto that detailed weapons and a “Body Disposal Guide,” per CBS News.
The court records show that Demarco is accused of plotting to murder a victim with the initials “R.V.” who, according to the criminal complaint, “has served as a presidential appointee.”
The complaint adds that the alleged victim was involved in the creation of Project 2025 — a project funded by the conservative Heritage Foundation- to produce a policy agenda for the next GOP administration. It called for a radical reshaping of the government in ways that consolidate power in the executive branch.

President Donald Trump on Thursday officially launched the federal government’s highly anticipated direct-to-consumer medication website called TrumpRx.
The site, which Trump lauded as a major win for his administration, will give Americans access to big discounts on popular and high-priced medicines. Now, consumers can pay low prices that are comparable to other developed nations, keeping in line with the Trump Most-Favored Nation policy.

Marco Rubio: China’s Nuclear Buildup Makes Any Deal Between Only U.S. and Russia ‘Obsolete’
Secretary of State Marco Rubio affirmed in an essay published on Friday that the administration of President Donald Trump would not pursue a new nuclear arms reduction agreement with only Russia, arguing that China’s “rapid and opaque” nuclear buildup made such a deal “obsolete.”
Secretary Rubio’s commentary, published on the State Department’s Substack page, follows the expiration of the Obama-era New START treaty on Thursday. That agreement voluntarily limited American and Russian deployments of intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) with nuclear warheads and other strategic arms. The Russian government pressured the United States to extend the treaty beyond the February 4 deadline despite Vladimir Putin announcing in 2023 that Russia would start ignoring its restrictions unilaterally.
During his first term, Trump repeatedly stated that he did not think that a nuclear weapons restriction agreement would be useful without addressing the Chinese military. According to a report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) published in 2024, China is expanding its nuclear arsenal at a much faster pace than any other country, adding about 100 nuclear warheads a year. Beijing has repeatedly rejected all calls to agree to limits in its nuclear weapons development, claiming it is still a “developing” country not on par with Russia or China.
Secretary Rubio categorically rejected the idea of China as a second-tier nuclear threat in his essay. The secretary proposed the creation of an agreement “that reflects that the United States could soon face not one, but two, nuclear peers in Russia and China.”
“China’s rapid and opaque expansion of its nuclear arsenal since New START entered into force has rendered past models of arms control, based upon bilateral agreements between the United States and Russia, obsolete,” Rubio posited. “Since 2020, China has increased its nuclear weapons stockpile from the low 200s to more than 600 and is on pace to have more than 1,000 warheads by 2030.” (Breitbart) Read more here.

Israel’s political-security cabinet approved a series of far-reaching decisions on Sunday that significantly alter the legal and civil framework governing Judea and Samaria.
The measures, advanced by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Defense Minister Israel Katz and formulated by the Settlement Administration within the Defense Ministry, are aimed at removing long-standing regulatory barriers, repealing Jordanian-era legislation, and accelerating settlement development in the area.

Until now, land registries in Judea and Samaria were classified, unlike those within the Green Line, complicating land transactions and enabling fraudulent activity. The IDF has closed dozens of alleged war-crimes cases arising from the 2023-2024 period of the Israel-Hamas War, The Jerusalem Post can disclose exclusively.
Publication of the details of the case closures was extensively delayed by fears that the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Criminal Court (ICC) would abuse such information in their politicized anti-Israel agendas.

5. Top Hezbollah official steps down in rare resignation - Israel National News
The Hezbollah terrorist organization has accepted the resignation of senior security official Wafiq Safa, sources familiar with the group’s thinking told Reuters on Friday.
It is the first time an official of his rank has stepped down.
Safa, who heads Hezbollah's liaison and coordination unit that works with Lebanese security agencies, survived an Israeli attempt to eliminate him in October 2024.

Federal transportation officials nabbed hundreds of truckers found not to be proficient in English, as otherwise routine stops at weigh stations led to thousands of violations amid a three-day national crackdown.
The latest iteration of Operation SafeDRIVE (Distracted, Reckless, Impaired, Visibility Enforcement) ran from Jan. 13–15 on trucking corridors in 26 states and the District of Columbia and removed nearly 2,000 unqualified truckers and other drivers from the road, USDOT’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) told Fox News Digital.
The news comes just days after a Kyrgyz national caused a deadly wreck after he failed to brake for stopped traffic on a state road in Jay County, Indiana, crossed the median and slammed into oncoming traffic.
Bekzhan Beishekeev illegally used the Mayorkas-era CBP-1 app to enter the U.S. in 2023 and was later issued a CDL by PennDOT, leading DHS officials to lambast Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, who in turn blamed Secretary Kristi Noem’s federal database management. (Read more)

2. Anti-ICE 'digital Minutemen' use military-grade surveillance tactics against feds - Fox News
Early last week, FBI Director Kash Patel announced that the bureau is investigating the use of the encrypted Signal messaging platform by "ICE Watch" activists to track and block federal immigration enforcement.
Just days later, Jill Garvey, co-founder of a group called "States at the Core," logged into a Zoom webinar to train a new crop of "rapid responders" on a military-grade intelligence gathering method called "SALUTE." An acronym for Size, Activity, Location, Uniform, Time, Equipment, SALUTE is a mnemonic device that typically instructs soldiers how to systematically track details about enemies. Garvey framed the work as operational surveillance against agents she had called "mercenaries" in an interview days earlier.
"We are all ICE Watch!" declared Garvey, whose group is funded by the Hopewell Fund, a dark-money organization aligned with the Democratic Party. She added a boast that she's taught 40,000 "rapid responders" this past year.
Garvey is just one of hundreds of anti-government operatives training agitators to interfere with federal law enforcement. Last Saturday, Manola De Los Santos, co-founder of the People’s Forum – a Marxist-Leninist organization funded by a China-based tech tycoon, Neville Roy Singham, with documented ties to the Chinese Communist Party – hosted an all-day "People’s Assembly for ICE Out of NY!" at the group’s headquarters on W. 37th Street. 3. Nancy Guthrie’s Blood Found On Front Porch, Investigators Say - Daily Wire
Investigators in the missing-persons case of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of NBC anchor Savannah Guthrie, confirmed that blood found on the front porch of Guthrie’s home belongs to her.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos updated the public on the investigation on Thursday. While law enforcement has neither identified a suspect nor person of interest, Nanos said that more samples of DNA in addition to the blood on the porch had been sent in for analysis.
The sheriff also said that his office, with help from other law enforcement, including the FBI, have been investigating dozens of tips in the search for Guthrie.
“Right now, we still believe Nancy is still out there,” said Nanos.
Law enforcement on Thursday released an estimated timetable of Guthrie’s disappearance and revealed that a home camera, one that attached to Guthrie’s front doorbell, was disconnected and removed. Investigators have still not located the missing camera.
The timetable begins at approximately 5:32 p.m. on January 31 when Guthrie left her house to spend the evening with her daughter and son-in-law, who lived nearby. Guthrie’s son-in-law dropped her off at her home just before 10 p.m. when Guthrie’s home security devices registered her garage opening and closing. (Read more)

4. What Constitution? Progressive States, Cities Join WHO Network after U.S. Withdrawal – The Washington Stand
For the past decade, left-wing Democrats have calibrated their actions by assessing whatever Donald Trump wants, and doing the opposite. This tactic is evident everywhere, but far fewer people understand how close this pattern comes to triggering a constitutional crisis.
One recent example came after the Trump administration officially withdrew the United States from the World Health Organizat
ion (WHO) on January 22. “Like many international organizations, the WHO abandoned its core mission and acted repeatedly against the interests of the United States,” announced Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy. “Although the United States was a founding member and the WHO’s largest financial contributor, the organization pursued a politicized, bureaucratic agenda driven by nations hostile to American interests.”
The U.S. Congress reserved the right to withdraw from the WHO when it joined the U.N. organization in 1948. President Trump initiated the process in the waning months of his first administration in response to its mismanagement of the COVID-19 pandemic. President Joe Biden suspended this withdrawal in 2021, but President Trump reinitiated it in 2025. Each of these policy reversals came as American voters decided to exchange one party for the other.
Now, some of Biden’s fellow Democrats have decided that they will simply refuse to follow the Trump administration’s foreign policy lead and engage with the WHO on their own. (Read more)

5. Chief Justice Roberts Asked to Investigate Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Behavior at Anti-ICE Grammy Awards - Breitbart
U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts is being asked to investigate Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson for her attendance at the recent Grammy Awards marked by an abundance of anti-ICE rhetoric.
Jackson attended because of her nomination for narrating the audiobook version of her memoir Lovely One.
However, Jackson allegedly clapped as speakers blasted U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as sharp criticism of the agency became the go-to left-wing theme of the night.
Now, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), who sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee, is urging Chief Justice Roberts to look into the matter to determine whether Jackson’s actions violate the high court’s Code of Conduct requiring her to recuse herself from certain cases.
“While it is by no means unheard of or unusual for a Supreme Court justice to attend a public function, very rarely — if ever — have justices of our nation’s highest Court been present at an event at which attendees have amplified such far-left rhetoric,” Blackburn wrote to Roberts Thursday in a letter published in its entirety by Fox News.
Blackburn went on to cite the “ICE-OUT” pins many artists wore at the show and the anti-ICE comments by presenters and awards recipients. She zeroed in on one Grammy winner opening his acceptance comments by stating, “Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say ‘ICE out.” (Read more)

6.Minnesota GOP Caucus Cursed By A Witch, Immediately Cancels It Out In The Name Of Jesus - Daily Caller
A self-described witch crashed a Republican caucus in Clay County, Minnesota, hexing attendees with a cackling curse before the crowd tried to pray it away.
The bearded interloper interrupted the reading of a gubernatorial straw poll in which Kendall Qualls led and Mike Lindell placed third at an elementary school cafeteria Tuesday, according to Minnesota Public Radio News.
“Mike Lindell, 23, hahaha!” the witch cackled upon learning the MyPillow CEO was trailing Qualls by seven votes in the county.
Two men moved to escort the witch from the roughly 70-person crowd, but the individual kept shouting, accusing those present of having killed Renee Good and Alex Pretti by voting Republican. Good was fatally shot by an ICE officer in January while in her vehicle in a Minneapolis neighborhood. Pretti, a nurse who had been protesting Good’s killing, was shot and killed by Border Patrol agents weeks later.
“I’m a witch,” the person yelled, draped in a green cape with a cross around their neck and a red cane in hand. “I hex all of you!”
As the witch was ushered out, unease settled over the room — until one man rallied the group in prayer. “We cancel that curse, that hex, in Jesus’ name,” he said, drawing an “Amen” from the crowd. The group then offered a second prayer, this time a blessing for the heckler, asking for divine intervention in the person’s understanding. (Read more)

URGENT! CONGRESS WILL VOTE ON THE "SAVE ACT" THIS WEEK!
Today, we will pray regarding the “Save Act” (which has now been renamed the “Save America Act” by Republican Senator Mike Lee of UT and Representative Chip Roy of TX). It is a critical piece of legislation that will finally secure our US elections. It will require proof of US citizenship to register for federal elections and a voter ID to cast a ballot. A physical photo ID (on top of the proof of citizenship you need to register) adds a much-needed second layer of protection. The “Save America Act” also mandates that states verify citizen status and remove non-citizens from their voter lists, and allows legal action against officials who register non-citizens. The vote is the American citizen’s power, and it should not be watered down by a system that refuses to verify just who is actually walking into the booth. Let’s read, rejoice, and intercede for its swift passage through Congress... and onto President Trump’s desk to be signed into law!

Chip Roy, R-Texas, confirmed in an interview Wednesday evening with Just the News that the vote will be held next week for the Save America Act, which combines the two requirements that have passed the House individually but not received a vote in the GOP-controlled Senate.
Roy is the chief sponsor of the legislation in the House, joined by Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, in the Senate.
"I'm announcing that we are bringing Chip's bill, the SAVE America Act, to the House floor next week," Scalise said in an interview on the John Solomon Reports podcast. "So it's on the floor, and everybody's got to pick a side: do you want to make sure that only American citizens vote in elections and that you have to show an ID to vote?
"You can't get into a bar, you can't get on an airplane without an ID and if we want to make sure the franchise of America's democracy is in place, let's do this as well," Scalise added.
Roy credited Trump for coming up with the new name for the bill and said he expects the president to pressure senators and Democrats in swing states to vote for it. (Read more)

We praise You, O Lord, that victory is now in sight, as Congress votes for passage of this bill, which will eliminate all fraud in any future elections and guarantee a true vote in the days ahead. Netanyahu to fly to Washington to discuss US talks with Iran
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to meet with President Donald Trump in the U.S. capital on Wednesday to discuss Washington’s negotiations with Iran, the premier’s office said on Saturday night.
“The prime minister believes that any negotiations must include limiting [Iran’s] ballistic missiles and halting support for the Iranian axis,” the Prime Minister’s Office added.
The prime minister had been expected to meet with Trump on Feb. 8, but has moved up his travel plans.
On Tuesday, Netanyahu met with Trump’s Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, emphasizing that Israel will not compromise on its war aims in the Gaza Strip, and cautioning against trusting Iranian promises.
Netanyahu reiterated to Witkoff that Hamas must be disarmed and Gaza demilitarized before any reconstruction efforts begin, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.
The prime minister also said that the Palestinian Authority could not play any role in administering the Gaza Strip, the statement added.
The Israeli government has remained adamant that the reconstruction phase of the Strip will begin only after Hamas lays down arms. Although a technocratic Palestinian government—the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG)—to run civil matters in Gaza has been established, it has been operating thus far from Egypt. Big Win for Trump as Appeals Court Blocks Liberal Judges from Releasing Migrants
President Donald Trump’s lawyers scored big on Friday when a Texas-based appeals court allowed officials to hold arrested migrants in detention so their migration cases can be quickly decided.
“ENORMOUS Immigration win for President Trump,” said Eric Wessen, the Solicitor General in Iowa’s Attorney General’s Office. He added:
The Fifth Circuit, the first federal court to address President Trump’s expedited removal efforts, sides with the administration. Illegal aliens may be detained and removed!
The 2:1 decision “is a big deal,” said Ilya Shapiro, a lawyer at the Manhattan Institute.
“After reviewing carefully the relevant provisions and structure of the Immigration and Naturalization Act, the statutory history, and Congressional intent, we conclude that the government’s position is correct,” the three-judge court decided.
One Biden-nominated judge argued that the policy is unfair because prior presidents did not use the law:
The decision is a big blow to the many pro-migration lawyers who are using sympathetic judges to impose a catch-and-release burden on ICE enforcement. So the decision helps Trump implement his campaign promise to deport millions of illegal migrants, partly because they are a huge economic burden on ordinary American families. Haunting ancient battle trumpet unearthed in landscape tied to legendary queen
Iron Age relic one of only three known examples found in Britain
Archaeologists recently unearthed a stunning relic from the early days of ancient Britain: a Celtic battle trumpet, possibly tied to the tribe of the legendary Queen Boudica.
In January, Historic England announced that a variety of Iron Age objects were found during a routine archaeological excavation.
The star of the cache was a near-complete Iron Age battle trumpet, or carnyx — used to blare eerie sounds in battle and rally troops against the enemy.
The trumpet was found by archaeologists from Pre-Construct Archaeology in West Norfolk in the eastern part of England.
"These animal-headed bronze instruments were used by Celtic tribes across Europe to inspire their warriors in battle and fascinated the Romans, who frequently depicted them as war trophies," Historic England's statement read.
"This newly excavated example is one of only three known from Britain and is one of the most complete found in Europe."
Norfolk was the heartland of the ancient Iceni tribe, a Celtic people once led by Boudica.
