Trump Says He Will Sign Orders to Require Voter ID for Midterms

President Donald Trump said in a Truth Social post Feb. 13 he plans to sign an executive order requiring voter ID for midterm elections this year as the SAVE Act remained on life support in the Senate.

“We cannot let the Democrats get away with NO VOTER I.D. any longer,” Trump posted. “Even Democrat Voters agree, 85 percent, that there should be Voter I.D.”

“This is an issue that must be fought, and must be fought, NOW! If we can’t get it through Congress, there are Legal reasons why this SCAM is not permitted. I will be presenting them shortly, in the form of an Executive Order,” Trump said.

The U.S. House passed the SAVE America Act on Feb. 11. Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) led the legislation that would require Americans to prove their citizenship when registering to vote.

Under the bill, citizens would have to show a photo identification when casting ballots, including mail-in ballots.

The bill faces an uncertain future in the Senate, where Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) said this week there aren’t enough votes to drop the filibuster to advance the bill.

Trump’s announcement came hours after Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) became the latest holdout to throw her weight behind the SAVE Act, according to a statement to The Maine Wire. She is the 50th senator to back the legislation. However, she said she would not support breaking the filibuster rule.

Democratic officials have criticized the SAVE Act as racist and have labeled it “voter suppression.”

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) called the bill “dead on arrival.”

“The goal of the SAVE Act is the same: disenfranchising American citizens and making it harder for eligible people to vote, particularly low-income Americans and people of color,” Schumer said in a speech on the Senate floor Feb. 9. (The Epoch Times) Read more

Lord, we pray that this Executive Order will stand. Voter ID is polling at a majority itsuse for both Democrats and Republicans. We thank You for protecting this action, and setting it in law for all future elections.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11)

Fetterman bucks Democrats, says party put politics over country in DHS shutdown standoff
Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., the lone Senate Democrat to join the GOP to fund the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), accused his colleagues of choosing party over country in their shutdown vote.

Senate Democrats dug their heels in against funding the agency on Thursday in their pursuit of stringent reforms to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), following the fatal shootings of Alex Pretti and Renee Nicole Good during immigration operations in Minnesota.

But Fetterman believed that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and his party were missing the point.

"This shutdown literally has zero impact on ICE functionality," Fetterman said in a post on X. "Country over party is refusing to hit the entire Department of Homeland Security. Democracy demands a way forward to reform ICE without damaging our critical national security agencies."

Senate Democrats’ refusal to fund DHS this week has made a partial government shutdown affecting only DHS inevitable. The deadline to strike a deal is midnight Friday, and the likelihood of that happening is nearly nonexistent. (Fox News) Read more
Lord, as Democrats pushed yet another shutdown, we pray provision for the families and worker portions of the DHS affected: Coast Guard, TSA, FEMA, the Border Patrol and the Secret Service. [ICE was funded last year in the “Big, Beautiful Bill” until 2029, which makes us wonder why the Democrats are pushing the shutdown.] Holy Lord You are Jehovah Jireh, the Great Provider – we trust You to do this. We also ask that a move of Your Holy Spirit for repentance wash over our government, and Democrats in particular.

“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:8)

Homan announces Operation Metro Surge to conclude in Minnesota
President Donald Trump's border czar Tom Homan announced Thursday that the administration will conclude Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota.

Homan told reporters during a news conference at the Bishop Whipple Federal in Minneapolis that the operation succeeded in reducing public safety threats with "unprecedented levels of coordination" from state officials and local law enforcement.

"As a result of our efforts here, Minnesota is now less of a sanctuary state for criminals," Homan said.
"I have proposed, and President Trump has concurred, that this surge operation conclude," he continued.
Homan said "a significant drawdown" of immigration agents was already underway, and will continue through next week.

The border czar announced last week that 700 federal officers would leave Minnesota, though 2,000 officers will remain. He cited improved cooperation with jails and said a complete drawdown was the goal, but it was "contingent upon the end of illegal and threatening activities against ICE." (Fox News) Read more
Lord, although the ICE mission in Minneapolis will terminate over the next couple of weeks, the problem of evil attacks will follow them unless something happens. We take Your authority over the politically charged rhetoric, the protests, and left-wing attitudes that are causing agents to be tense and bind it in the Name of Jesus. We speak peace over the agents who are simply following the law and command the Marxist/communist agenda of paid agitators to fall.

“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19)

Senate Leader Thune Joins ‘SAVE America Act’ as Co-Sponsor in Major Boost for Election Bill- Criminal Watch
Senate Majority Leader John Thune has officially signed on as a co-sponsor of the SAVE America Act, a move that proponents signal is a decisive shift in the legislative battle to overhaul federal voting laws. Thune’s support aligns the Senate GOP leadership with the measure, significantly increasing the pressure to bypass standard procedural hurdles and bring the bill to a floor vote.

Breaking the 60-Vote Threshold
Thune’s sponsorship is being hailed as a critical step toward securing the necessary support to pass the legislation. While standard Senate rules require 60 votes to overcome a filibuster, the momentum is shifting toward a “standing” or “talking” filibuster strategy. If successful, this procedural maneuver would force opponents to physically hold the Senate floor to block the bill, potentially allowing Republicans to eventually pass the measure with a simple majority—the “50 votes needed” referenced by supporters—rather than the usual supermajority.

Deep Search: What is the SAVE America Act?
The SAVE America Act represents an “enhanced” version of the previously introduced Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act. Spearheaded by Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) and Senator Mike Lee (R-UT), the legislation aims to amend the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (often called the “Motor Voter” law).

Proof of Citizenship: The core provision mandates that individuals provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship—such as a passport or birth certificate—in person when registering to vote in federal elections.
Photo ID Requirement: Unlike its predecessor, this new iteration adds a strict requirement for voters to present photo identification when casting a ballot.

Voter Roll Purges: The bill requires states to remove non-citizens from existing voter rolls and establishes a pipeline for states to cross-check voter lists with the Department of Homeland Security. (Criminal Watch) Read more
Lord, we pray that You will create a path forward for passage of the SAVE Act. We ask that You move on the hearts and minds of Republicans (Murkowski and Collins) standing against it and help them see the truth. We take Your authority over the lies being pushed by Democrats and the media that damage the bill’s forward momentum.   Let Your Word accomplish what You have ordained for America.

“So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11)

Obama-era greenhouse gas rules gone as EPA’s Zeldin signs ‘single largest deregulatory action’ in history
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin on Thursday will eliminate the "2009 Obama EPA Endangerment Finding," which set in motion most federal greenhouse gas emissions standards for vehicles, saving Americans billions.

The 2009 development was an EPA finding that carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and three other greenhouse gases "endanger the public health and welfare of current and future generations" under the Clean Air Act — leading to a slew of new restrictions and regulations.

An ensuing Supreme Court ruling in Massachusetts v. EPA found greenhouse gases qualify as air pollutants and that if the EPA determines they endanger public health or welfare it can regulate them.

"As I traveled across all 50 states this past year, I heard from countless Americans who not only dislike the (motor-vehicle) start-stop feature but passionately advocated for this mechanism to be a thing of the past," Zeldin said of the major recission made Thursday. (Fox News) Read more
Father, thank You that this administration has worked to balance the energy regulations after the egregious “green agenda” ran rampant over prices.  As the climate change agenda tried to push extreme lies that the earth was going to cease with fossil fuel use, the truth that we are still here is a testimony against them. We ask that continue to reveal Yourself and bring truth against the lies.

“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.” (Genesis 8:22)
FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Netanyahu Says US Deal with Iran Must Dismantle Nuclear Infrastructure
- Algemeiner

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday he told US President Donald Trump last week that any US deal with Iran must include the dismantling of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, not just stopping the enrichment process.

Speaking at the annual Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, Netanyahu also said Israel still needs to “complete the job” of destroying all tunnels in Gaza. Israel, he said, has already dismantled 150 km (93 miles) of an estimated 500 km.

A second round of talks between the US and Iran are slated for this week. Iran is pursuing a nuclear agreement with the US that delivers economic benefits for both sides, an Iranian diplomat was reported as saying on Sunday. (Read more)

2. Disarmament of Gaza terror groups condition for reconstruction, says Mladenov
- JNS

The disarmament of Hamas and all other Palestinian terrorist groups is a precondition for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, the enclave’s high representative, Nickolay Mladenov, reiterated on Friday.

“Gaza needs to be governed by a transitional authority, as authorized by the Security Council resolution, under which it needs to take on the full civilian and security control of Gaza,” Mladenov said during a panel at the Munich Security Conference, referencing U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace plan, which has received formal backing of the United Nations.

“That includes the disarmament of all factions in Gaza, not just Hamas,” he stated. “Hamas, Islamic Jihad, others—there are plenty of them who have weapons and tunnels and production facilities inside Gaza.” (Read more)

3. Gov’t approves 2nd weekly move to reorder West Bank - Jerusalem Post

In a blockbuster move that could shake up the region, the government reopened land registration in Area C of the West Bank for the first time since 1967.

The move, announced by Justice Minister Yariv Levin, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, and Defense Minister Israel Katz on Sunday, comes less than a week after Katz and Smotrich stated that several new policies would go into effect to streamline the acquisition of property by Jewish Israelis in areas A and B.

Despite heavy criticism on a global scale, including from the Trump administration, these new moves, which fall short of full annexation, seem to indicate that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is confident they will not be shot down by the US president.

4. IDF eliminates armed terrorists in northern Gaza Strip - JNS

Israel Defense Forces troops on Saturday eliminated at least two armed terrorists believed to have emerged from a tunnel in the northern Gaza Strip in violation of the ceasefire, according to the military.

“Earlier today, several armed terrorists were identified in the northern Gaza Strip, most likely after exiting underground infrastructure in the vicinity,” the IDF stated.

The terrorist cell was said to have taken cover under debris east of the ceasefire-instituted Yellow Line, posing an imminent threat to Israeli soldiers stationed adjacent to the rubble.

The Yellow Line is a demarcation established by the army as part of the ceasefire agreement with Hamas that went into effect on Oct. 10, 2025. (Read more

5. IDF hits Hezbollah weapons storage facilities, rocket launchers
- World Israel News

The Israeli military struck Hezbollah weapons storage facilities and rocket launchers late on Saturday in several locations across Southern Lebanon.

The Israel Defense Forces said that the Iranian terror proxy is continuing attempts to rebuild its military infrastructure in the region to target Israeli civilians.

“The presence of the weapons struck constituted a violation of the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon, and endangered the civilians of the region,” the IDF said, adding that it will “continue to operate to remove any threat to the State of Israel.”

Israel’s military said on Friday that it had eliminated a Hezbollah operative who was attempting to restore the terrorist group’s “military” infrastructure in southeastern Lebanon. (Read more)

1. Trump scores major court win- MSN

With midterm elections approaching, Democrats and Republicans are working to redraw congressional lines to their advantage.

In Virginia, however, Democrats’ efforts to pass a constitutional amendment permitting new maps was blocked after a judge ruled the measure invalid — a decision seen as a major legal win for President Donald Trump and his GOP allies.

As states across the country pursue redistricting to benefit Democrats or Republicans, Virginia House of Delegates Speaker Don Scott discussed the state’s plan to do the same during a meeting of the Virginia Property Owners Alliance.

Scott accused President Trump of “bullying” other states into revising their congressional maps, which he said forced Virginia to follow suit.

“We didn’t want to have to do this,” he said. “This was done because Donald Trump told Texas, Indiana, North Carolina — our neighbors — to rig their elections.”

Republicans have targeted states such as Texas, Missouri, North Carolina and Ohio for redistricting, believing it could result in as many as nine additional seats in the U.S. House.

Meanwhile, Democrats have concentrated their redistricting efforts in California and Utah and had looked to Virginia as a way to close the gap.

The speaker said that under a new map, the state legislature could swing from six Democrats and five Republicans to 10 Democrats and one Republican, allowing Democrats to pick up four seats. Read more

Holy Father, we ask that all plans for redistricting be fair and balanced. We bind this back-and-forth fighting in Jesus’ Name and pray for the panic of both parties to stop.

“Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.” (Proverbs 12:25)

2. White House reaffirms any illegal immigrant can be deported as Trump team zeroes in on ‘worst of the worst’ - Fox

The Trump White House reiterated that anyone residing in the U.S. illegally is eligible for deportation as its crackdown continues to initially focus on removing "the worst of the worst" violent illegal immigrants.

"The president’s entire team, including border czar Tom Homan and Secretary Noem, are on the same page when it comes to implementing his agenda — which has always focused on prioritizing the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens — and the successful deportations and historically secure border proves that," White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital Tuesday.

"As always, anyone in the country illegally is eligible to be deported," she added. "President Trump is keeping his promise to carry out the largest mass deportation operation in history."

The administration, most notably offices within the Department of Homeland Security, are in the midst of ongoing arrest and deportation efforts as part of President Donald Trump's crackdown on the immigration crisis that rocked the U.S. under the Biden administration. Read more

Lord, illegal immigration is a problem for all people in America.  It is against the law, but some seem to ignore that fact. While we know that You have admonished us as individuals to be accepting, as a nation the dynamic changes to require assimilation.

3. Republican attorneys general demand DOJ investigate foreign funding tied to 150 climate groups in US- Fox

Nineteen Republican attorneys general on Friday asked the Department of Justice to investigate dozens of U.S.-based nonprofits for potential violations of federal foreign agent laws after receiving nearly $2 billion in foreign funding over the past decade.

The state attorneys general urged Attorney General Pam Bondi and the DOJ’s national security division head, John Eisenberg, to open the probe after the nonprofits accepted the funding from five foreign-based climate foundations, according to a letter first obtained by Fox News Digital.

The funding may have been used to improperly influence U.S. energy policies without the nonprofits registering under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, the attorneys general wrote.

The attorneys general identified more than 150 U.S.-based organizations the DOJ should investigate, saying there was "substantial evidence" that many of them were violating FARA by "engaging in coordinated funding and advocacy efforts to influence U.S. energy policy and undermine American energy independence."

The five foreign groups named in the letter, the Oak Foundation, Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, Quadrature Climate Foundation, KR Foundation and Laudes Foundation, were found by the conservative watchdog Americans for Public Trust to have funneled the money to the smaller organizations over the past decade. Read more

Lord Jesus, we pray that Your justice will come to these entities for their interference in the workings of America.  We pray for even more transparency in their actions and stop everything that is against the lawful funding.

“But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.” (Amos 5:24)

4. Uproar after Iran named vice-chair of UN body promoting democracy, women’s rights- Fox

Iran’s election as vice-chair of the United Nations Commission for Social Development is being slammed by human rights advocates and policy analysts, who have condemned the U.N.'s hypocrisy when it comes to its treatment of undemocratic regimes.

The leadership role was approved without objection during a meeting of the commission, where delegates adopted agenda items and organizational decisions by consensus.

The United Nations has faced continued criticism over its inaction towards the regime's violent crackdown against protesters in December and January. On Wednesday, U.N. Secretary General António Guterres faced criticism for congratulating Iran on the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic revolution.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz criticized the development, writing on X: "Yet another reason why we are not a member of, nor do we participate in, this ridiculous ‘Commission for Social Development.’" Read more

Holy God, this travesty is another reason why the United Nations is failing in its stated policy. We pray Your mighty power over the brave protesters in Iran and that our President will have wisdom in how to help them as he originally promised. We ask for accountability for the UN for its foolish actions.

“Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” (Ephesians 5:17)

5. Border Czar Says 3,364 Unaccompanied Children Located in Minnesota Operation- The Epoch Times

Border czar Tom Homan said Thursday that thousands of unaccompanied alien children were located in a multi-monthlong operation in Minnesota as he also confirmed that the federal government would be winding down its enforcement operation in the city.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have located 3,364 missing unaccompanied children in the Minneapolis-area operation that was announced by federal officials on Dec. 1, 2025, said Homan in a news conference.

Those were children who “the last Administration lost, and weren’t even looking for,” Homan said before crediting President Donald Trump’s administration for the operation.

“The Twin Cities, and Minnesota in general, are and will continue to be much safer for the communities here because of what we have accomplished under President Trump’s leadership,” Homan said in announcing the end of the operation.

The ICE operation also resulted in more than 4,000 arrests, Homan said, calling it a success. He also said a small number of personnel will stay in Minneapolis for “a period of  time.”

But ultimately, he said, “I have proposed, and President Trump has concurred, that this surge operation [has] concluded.” A significant drawdown already started last week, he added. Read more

Thank You, Lord for finding these lost children.  We ask that all of the children lost under the last administration will also be found.

“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it?” (Luke 15:4)

6. Political Indecency, Weaponized Religion, and the Coarsening of Civic Language- The Washington Stand

A Tuesday hearing in front of the House Committee on Homeland Security turned nasty as Democrats got their first chance since the shooting death of Alex Pretti to sink their rhetorical teeth into Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons. Just before the two-hour mark, Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) drew a Nazi comparison, and the hearing somehow went downhill from there.

Goldman Questioning
Goldman pressed Lyons on ICE officers asking people to show proof of citizenship and invoked comparisons to “very nefarious regimes” that also required proof of citizenship. “Is Nazi Germany one?” asked Goldman, who is Jewish. Lyons refused to answer what he called “the wrong type of questioning” and snapped, “The Holocaust Museum is on 14th Street and Independence. If you want to go see Nazis, that’s where it is.”

“People are simply making valid observations about your tactics, which are un-American and outright fascist,” Goldman shot back. “If you don’t want to be called a fascist regime or secret police, then stop acting like one.”

As a matter of logic, however, Goldman’s syllogism was invalid, since it committed the “fallacy of the undistributed middle.” When distilled down, his argument ran thus: ICE checks for citizenship; the Nazi regime checked for citizenship; therefore, ICE is like the Nazi regime. But the same logical form could (fallaciously) prove that Martin Luther King, Jr. was like Adolph Hitler, since both were men, or since both breathed air.

Indeed, the only valid observation to draw from Goldman’s unrelated premises is that both ICE and the Nazi regime are instances of some unnamed entity that checks for citizenship. Since citizens belong to and comprise nations, the entity that checks for citizenship is known as a national government. To be logically valid, what Goldman should have said was this: “If you don’t want to be called a national government, then stop acting like one.” That is where his argument really leads.

McIver Questioning
Believe it or not, the worst was yet to come. Half an hour later, Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-N.J.) launched her own safari to hunt Lyons. (Yes, this is the same McIver who was indicted on two federal counts of assaulting immigration officers when she tried to force her way into an ICE detention center on May 9, 2025.)

“Mr. Lyons, do your consider yourself a religious man?” McIver began. “Yes, ma’am,” he answered. “Oh, okay,” McIver responded, in a voice that conveyed, “Well, that’s surprising, but it makes my job easier.”
McIver’s next line was designed to be the zinger, “Well, how do you think Judgment Day will work for you with so much blood on your hands?” Lyons treated that accusation like the improper smear that it was, “I’m not going to entertain that question, ma’am.” But McIver was not ready to let the matter drop, “Oh, okay, of course not. Do you think you’re going to hell?”

At this point, Committee Chairman Andrew Garbarino (R-N.Y.) retook the floor, although not without difficulty. “While vigorous disagreement is part of the legislative process, members are reminded that we must adhere to established standards of decorum in debate,” he insisted. “Witnesses are here voluntarily. I will continue to remind members that, while oversight is important, aggressively attacking those witnesses personally is inappropriate and not in keeping with the traditions of our committee.”  Read more

Father, as the US descends into disgusting language directed at members of the Trump administration, we take Your authority over all interactions and bind them to Your Heart and Word.  We pray for a move of repentance across the entire US government including all legislators.

Conservatives Attempt to Reframe Debate Over Same-Sex Marriage Ruling

A growing coalition of parents, activist groups, and others is organizing to put pressure on the Supreme Court to overrule its 2015 decision that legalized same-sex marriage nationwide.

The Greater Than campaign, which launched on Jan. 28, recasts the effort to repeal same-sex marriage as a push to restore the right of children to live in homes with a mother and a father.

Katy Faust, the social activist who runs Greater Than, said on the campaign’s website that restoring marriage as an institution that protects children requires helping Americans to see the natural link between traditional marriage and child protection. This requires “a judicial and policy strategy that centers children’s needs,” she said. (The Epoch Times)

Thank You Jesus for this campaign to stop the unbiblical marriages permitted in this nation. May there be a ground-swell of citizens and especially people of God standing together with a loud and unified voice declaring that children deserve one mother and one father raising them as a family, in Jesus's name. We pray that the Supreme Court decision will be 100% overturned, in Jesus's name.

"'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength, And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.'" (Deuteronomy 6:5-8)

What to Know About the Agencies Affected in DHS Shutdown

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has partially shut down after Democrats and Republicans failed to reach an agreement on immigration enforcement changes tied to the agency’s funding.

Here’s what happens to DHS agencies in the shutdown.

The United States Coast Guard is housed under DHS’s wide umbrella, and would be forced to change operations, according to leadership.

Acting Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Madhu Gottumukkala spoke during the same hearing, telling lawmakers that a DHS shutdown would weaken U.S. defense against threats that target critical infrastructure.

A DHS shutdown would also strain airport security due to staffing shortages and potential technology upgrade delays.

Secret Service Deputy Director Matthew Quinn spoke to the impact on his agency, saying that agents would not stop protecting the president and other leaders, but this could undermine long-term goals and put a strain on the already overextended workforce.

A DHS shutdown will also impact disaster recovery funding through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will continue largely uninhibited during the shutdown. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act, passed last year, allotted $75 billion for ICE and around $65 billion for CBP. Both agencies have been involved in immigration enforcement, which has been an issue of contention for Democrats. (The Epoch Times) Read more

Holy One, we pray for this shutdown to be turned around quickly, in Jesus's name. We pray that You would provide for every person who is working faithfully, without pay. We ask for the security and stability of each of these agencies that are negatively impacted since they are all important in the protection of our nation. We thank You for watching over the most vulnerable areas exposed by this shutdown and that You will place a shield over this country, in Jesus's name.

"'They will fight against you, But they shall not prevail against you, For I am with you,' says the Lord, 'to deliver you.'" (Jeremiah 1:19)

Federal Judge Blocks Trump’s War Department From Punishing ‘Seditious Six’ Lawmaker
A federal judge Thursday blocked Department of War Secretary Pete Hegseth from punishing Democratic Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly over his role in a viral November 2025 video urging U.S. service members to not follow “illegal orders.”

U.S. District Judge Richard Leon — an appointee of former President George W. Bush — issued a preliminary injunction blocking Kelly, a retired Navy captain, from having his military rank demoted and his retirement pay reduced. The decision is the latest rebuff of the Trump administration’s efforts to penalize the six Democrats who participated in the video.

Leon referred to the Pentagon’s efforts as “horsefeathers!” noting the push to punish Kelly is “a troubling development in a free country!”

“This Court has all it needs to conclude that Defendants have trampled on Sen. Kelly’s First Amendment freedoms and threatened the constitutional liberties of millions of military retirees,” Leon wrote. “To say the least, our retired veterans deserve more respect from their Government, and our Constitution demands they receive it!” (Daily Caller) Read more
Lord, the “seditious six” video was a terrible action that attempted to divide our armed forces. We ask that You bring Your truth and true judgment for all of them. We also pray that You will stop the constant actions of judges who interfere with the workings of the administration.

First lady Melania Trump achieves third reunification of Ukrainian children with 'unwavering commitment'
First lady Melania Trump announced Thursday that a third round of Ukrainian children have returned to their families as part of a Russia-Ukraine youth reunification initiative.

"I appreciate that Russia and Ukraine are dedicated to bringing back the children who have been displaced because of the circumstances surrounding this conflict," wrote the first lady in a statement.

"Although all parties are cooperating and our communications remain robust, I urge Russia and Ukraine to intensify their efforts to ensure the safe return of every child to their families and guardians," said Mrs. Trump.
She added, "Today marks the third reunification since I have been working strategically with both nations. I have no doubt more progress will come."

Russian presidential envoy Kirill Dmitriev announced on X that six children were unified, sharing comment from Maria Lvova-Belova, Russia’s presidential commissioner for children's rights. (Fox News) Read more
Lord, thank You that our First Lady is working so hard to reunite the Ukrainian children with their families. We pray that You will touch the hearts of both sides of Russia and Ukraine, and that Melania Trump will be a great asset to bring peace to the region.

It’s older than the Roman Empire, taller than the Statue of Liberty and as heavy as 7 blue whales
Meet the General Sherman tree – the largest tree on the planet.

When it comes to sheer volume, no tree on Earth can match the General Sherman tree.

This colossus of the arboreal world, found in California’s Sequoia National Park, stands almost 84 metres tall, is estimated to be around 2,200 years old and weighs well over a million kilograms.

Amazing facts about the General Sherman tree

How tall is the General Sherman tree?

The General Sherman tree is 83.8 metres (275 feet) tall. To put that into perspective, it’s almost twice the height of the Statue of Liberty in New York – the copper statue measures 46.05 metres from base to torch.

A Special Message
The Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
