Presidential Message on Ash Wednesday
|
|
"Today, the First Lady and I join the millions of Christians in the United States and around the world in observing Ash Wednesday—a solemn day of prayer and repentance and the beginning of the Lenten season.
Every Ash Wednesday, Christians receive ashes in the shape of a cross on their foreheads as a visible reminder of our belonging to Jesus Christ and our enduring need for penance. For the next 40 days, in remembrance of Jesus’ 40 days of temptation in the desert, followers of Christ will pray, fast, and give alms to deepen their faith, reflect on His redeeming Passion and death, and prepare their hearts for the coming Easter miracle.
As the holy season of Lent begins, we are reminded that the practices of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving have been foundational to our strength from the earliest days of our national story. From the Colonists who turned to prayer and fasting in the heart of the Revolutionary War to the unmatched compassion and generosity of America’s churches, hospitals, and charitable institutions, these righteous acts of faith over the centuries have always stood at the center of our identity, our heritage, and our way of life.
This Ash Wednesday, as we remember the Passion and ultimate sacrifice of Christ on the cross, we send our best wishes for a meaningful Lenten season. Above all, as we prepare for the triumphant resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday—the greatest miracle in the history of mankind—we pause to remember those sacred words: “This is the time of fulfillment. The Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the Gospel.” (White House.gov) Read More Here >

Father, we CELEBRATE President Trumps's bold proclamation of Ash Wednesday being a time for Americans to honor a 'Day of Prayer and Repentance' beginning the holy season of Lent. May a spiritual-awakening fall upon our entire country, as Christians fast, pray and repent before the Lord. In Jesus Name we declare a miraculous shift, throughout the United States of America, as prayer is lifted and believers continue to cry out before Your Holy Throne of Grace. May this Lenten season of reflection and unity in prayer be a turning point for every American citizen, bringing many to faith and a returning of lost prodigals to the Ways of the Lord. We are in desperate need of You, Abba, and invite Your Holy Spirit FIRE to fall upon this country, causing a powerful realignment in righteousness across state lines! Through the mighty Blood of Yeshua, we pray this prayer.- Amen.
"Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord-" (Acts 3:19)

'Well, that didn't take long': Islamic call to prayer loudly broadcast on New York City streets
|
|
Just weeks ago, New York City residents, including large populations of immigrants, elected a Muslim, Zohran Mamdani, the city's new mayor.
He immediately praised his own religion as the one true faith, and now there are being broadcast into city streets, in multiple locations, the Islamic call to prayer, up to five times a day.
Actor James Woods, who commentary attracts as much attention these days as his other life accomplishments, pointed out, "Well, that didn't take long…" (WND) Read more

Abba, this is outrageous! We ask You to silence the "Islamic call to prayer" now being broadcast in New York City. We decree and declare the United States is One Nation Under God, not allah! Holy Spirit, release Your warrior angels to put an end to this Anti-Jesus noise on the streets of NYC. Father God, download what Your intercessors need to know to pray in such power and authority that this Islamic Mayor is rendered powerless to force on New Your City citizens anything concerning Islam. Period! We say NO to the plans of the enemy trying to change the fabric of our country, trying to destroy Your plan, Your destiny for the United States. We say that Jesus is the One True God and there is NO OTHER! We ask this in the name Yahweh, The Lord, the God whose name is I AM WHO I AM. The God who is near to those who call on Him for deliverance, forgiveness and guidance.
God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites:
I AM has sent me to you." (Exodus 3:14)

FTC Probes American Association of Pediatrics, WPATH over Gender Transition Procedures for Minors
|
|
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) consumer protection arm has launched official probes into the American Association of Pediatrics (AAP) and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) over their continued support for gender transition procedures for minors. “The @AmerAcadPeds and @WPATH have driven the biggest medical scandal of our time, pushing irreversible interventions on children without the evidence to back them up,” cheered pro-detransitioner organization Genspect. “The @FTC investigation is a necessary step toward holding them accountable.”
The FTC began investigating the issue in earnest last summer, shortly after the Trump administration’s FTC Commissioner Andrew N. Ferguson was sworn in to his post on April 2, 2025.
On July 9, the FTC hosted a workshop on “The Dangers of ‘Gender-Affirming Care’ for Minors,” focusing on “unfair or deceptive trade practices.” On July 28, the FTC announced a public Request for Information seeking “to evaluate whether consumers (in particular, minors) have been harmed and whether medical professionals or others may have violated Sections 5 and 12 of the FTC Act by failing to disclose material risks associated with ‘gender-affirming care’ or making false or unsubstantiated claims about the benefits or effectiveness of ‘gender-affirming care.’” (Washington Stand) Read more

Abba, thank You that the FTC is looking into possible irregularities of patient care for young children who are dealing with gender dysphoria. We ask that every doctor who has given medications or done surgical procedures without informing the parents and child of what the realistic effects can be, should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Father God, we know this type of abuse on confused kids just breaks Your heart as it does ours, we ask You to intervene across our nation putting a stop to this heinous, demonic practice. We ask Holy Spirit to speak fear of the Lord into the hearts of all doctors who believe they have done nothing wrong and continue hurting our children, possibly destroying their lives. We ask this in the name El Gibhor, Mighty God, the God who will accomplish the destruction of His enemies.
"Death and Destruction lie open before the Lord -- how much more do human hearts!" (Proverbs 15:11)

Some States Preventing Schools from Leading Anti-ICE Walkout Protests
|
|
States are preventing teachers and school administrators from encouraging anti-ICE walkouts amid rising violence by emotional and uninformed children.
Texas and Florida officials, in particular, are stepping up to put a halt to these dangerous school walkouts.
Just over a week ago, Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott warned Texas school kids that there will be consequences if they skip school to attend anti-ICE riots.
Now, to follow up on that, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has announced that three independent school districts are being investigated for “facilitating student protests against lawful immigration enforcement.”
“I will not allow Texas schools to become breeding grounds for the radical Left’s open borders agenda,” Paxton, who is running for the U.S. Senate from Texas, wrote in a post on X on Monday. (Breitbart) Read more

Abba, thank You that Governors Abbott and DeSantis are taking a stand against the lawless activists who have and are rioting because ICE agents are doing their job, arresting illegals. We ask Holy Spirit to send out warrior angels to speak the "fear of God" into the minds and hearts of all who are participating in the riots, show them what consequences come when destructive behavior is acted out in the streets of our cities, give them reason to 'rethink' their decisions. Jesus, You know what it is going to take to make the destruction stop, we ask You to do that. Give Your intercessors the statements to decree and declare over these riots, let us speak to the enemy in Your name, because at Your name he cannot stand, every knee will bow. We ask this in the name El Shaddai, God Almighty, the God who has ultimate power over all things.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can stand against the devil's schemes." (Ephsians 6:10-11)

Massive Wildfires Ravage Western Oklahoma, Evacuations Issued
|
|
|
Wildfires that have spread across western Oklahoma amid high winds have prompted authorities to issue evacuation orders.
One of the many wildfires to break out began southwest of Woodward, Oklahoma, and, due to high winds reaching nearly 60 mph, the blaze quickly spread into residential neighborhoods.
The high winds have prevented firefighting aircraft from assisting in putting out the blaze, making it difficult for firefighters to slow the fire’s spread. Woodward’s emergency management director, Matt Lehenbauer, in a statement, shared, “evacuation orders cover neighborhoods south of U.S. Highway 412 and west of 13th Street. Nursing homes in that zone were also evacuated.” (The Gateway Pundit) Read more

|
Abba, HELP! We ask You to speak to the winds and bring a calm over all of Oklahoma and Kansas to help stop the wildfires that are moving so fast. Father God, we ask for miracles upon miracles to stop the fire and save livestock and crops! You are the only one who can save the farms from total destruction, we ask You to do that NOW before more of Your kids are impacted by this fire. We ask You to stop the winds so that aircraft can put retardant on the flames. We ask You to protect all firefighters, give them wisdom and a supernatural awareness as they fight the flames. We ask this in the name Yahweh Jireh, The Lord Will Provide.
"Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him." (Psalm 91:14-15)

2. Tucker Carlson visits Israel for sit-down with Huckabee: ‘He wouldn’t leave the airport' - Jerusalem Post
Conservative media personality Tucker Carlson visited Israel briefly on Wednesday for a filmed sit-down with US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, focused on claims about the treatment of Christians in Israel and the wider region, sources told The Jerusalem Post.
According to the sources, Carlson conducted the conversation inside Ben Gurion Airport and did not travel beyond the airport complex. He departed Israel at around 3 p.m., ending a trip that lasted only a few hours.
The unusual in-and-out visit followed a public back-and-forth between the two former Fox News hosts after Carlson published an episode in early February, filmed at the Jordan River baptism site and titled "Christian Persecution." (Read more)

3. Holocaust Survivor, 96, Celebrates Aliyah to Israel With Five Generations of Descendants - Algemeiner
Holocaust survivor Charlotte Roth formally immigrated to Israel on Wednesday and celebrated with an aliyah ceremony attended by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who live in the Jewish state.
“It is a truly wonderful moment in my life to be able to call myself Israeli, a citizen of our Jewish state,” said Roth, 96. “Walking these streets with five generations of my family fills my heart with deep joy and strength, especially when I see Israeli soldiers and feel safety and pride where there was once fear.”
Aliyah refers to the process of Jews immigrating to Israel.
Roth made the move to Israel with help from Nefesh B’Nefesh — a nonprofit organization that promotes and facilitates aliyah from the US and Canada — and the Israeli government’s Population and Immigration Authority, in cooperation with the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration and three nonprofits: The Jewish Agency for Israel, Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael, and Jewish National Fund–USA. 4. Archaeologists uncover lives of the elderly in biblical-era Israel
- World Israel News
Archaeologists are finally uncovering the hidden lives of the elderly — those who lived, worked, and influenced family life more than 2,700 years ago.
A new study from Bar-Ilan University reveals that older adults in ancient Israel were far from passive figures, challenging long-held assumptions that their presence in households was negligible or invisible.
While research on women and children in the ancient world has flourished in recent decades, the elderly have largely remained overlooked, their lives reconstructed almost exclusively from skeletal remains.
Now, Bar-Ilan archaeologists are using household artifacts to identify older residents and illuminate their roles in daily family life.
The study, published in the peer-reviewed Cambridge Archaeological Journal, focuses on Building 101 at Tel Eton, in the southeastern Judean foothills. (Read more)

5. Anti-Israel ‘obsession,’ Sa’ar says before UN Security Council Meeting - JNS
Moments before the United Nations Security Council met on Wednesday to discuss peace between Israel and the Palestinians, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar strongly criticized the international body as “unfortunately infected with an anti-Israeli obsession.”
Speaking at the United Nations in New York, Sa’ar said that on Tuesday, “85 countries stood here and denied the Jewish people’s right to live in the same places recognized as belonging to a Jewish national home.”
“Amazingly, so many countries say that Jewish presence in our ancient homeland violates international law,” he said. “The opposite is true. No other nation in any other place in the world has a stronger right than our historical and documented right to the land of the Bible.” (Read more)

1. Trump sends America’s biggest warship, advanced fighters toward Iran in biggest military buildup yet - New York Post
President Trump is sending the USS Gerald R. Ford, the world’s largest warship, to the Middle East, along with a huge fleet of aerial refueling tankers and F-22 and F-35 strike fighters, according to reports.
The massive buildup in military hardware is the biggest indication yet that Trump could be preparing for large-scale strikes against Iran if high-stakes negotiations over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program and brutal crackdown on protesters fail.
The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Ford and its carrier strike group set sail in the Atlantic on Tuesday and is heading for the Strait of Gibraltar, the entrance to the Mediterranean Sea, USNI reported. Read more

2. Florida Campus Becomes Hub of Worship and Prayer - Million Voices
Something extraordinary is happening on the campus of Southeastern University in Florida. What started as a standard university conference has transformed into a continuous, powerful spiritual revival. Students are gathering for non-stop worship, prayer, and repentance, marking a moment that many believe is a significant Holy Spirit outpouring.
This unexpected event began during a three-day conference in early February. The atmosphere shifted dramatically after a speaker, Jennie Allen, issued a powerful challenge to the students. This moment of collective surrender sparked a fire of renewal that has continued to burn brightly for days, drawing attention from across the nation and the world.
The events at SEU are being compared to the historic Asbury Awakening of 2023, another student-led revival that captured global attention. What is happening in Florida is a testament to a deep spiritual hunger among the younger generation. It serves as a powerful reminder that God is moving in mighty ways, and we are called to witness and support this incredible work of faith. Read more

3. RFK Jr. Pushes Vaccine Reform, Prioritizes Parental Choice - Million Voices
For decades, American parents have watched with growing concern as the list of required childhood vaccinations has expanded. Many believers have felt that their voices were ignored by a medical establishment more focused on pharmaceutical profits than parental rights. But today, we are witnessing a monumental shift that puts the power back where it belongs, in the hands of mothers and fathers.
Under the bold leadership of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the nation is charting a new course. President Trump has taken decisive action to review our nation’s approach to public health, and the results are shaking the foundations of the Washington bureaucracy.
For the first time in years, the federal government is prioritizing transparency over mandates. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued new guidance that dramatically reduces the number of recommended shots for children. This move signals that the days of blind compliance are over, and a new season of informed consent has begun. Read more

4. Trump Rolls Back Obama-Era Climate Policy - Million Voices
The Trump administration has officially announced the repeal of a major climate policy from the Obama era. This policy, known as the endangerment finding, was the legal foundation for many federal rules on greenhouse gas emissions. President Donald Trump and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin confirmed the move on Thursday, calling it the largest climate deregulation in American history.
This decision marks a significant shift in U.S. climate policy. President Trump described the action as “the single largest deregulatory action in American history,” highlighting the administration’s belief that repealing the Obama-era rules will deliver major cost savings to American families and businesses. For a detailed breakdown on how this climate regulation repeal impacts the nation.
The original endangerment finding was established in 2009. It declared that greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide and methane, posed a threat to public health and welfare. To understand the roots and arguments about this pivotal EPA policy. Read more

5. Bondi Clashes with Democrats Over Epstein Files - Million Voices
In the halls of power, the pursuit of truth and justice must be our highest calling. This week, that pursuit was front and center during a fiery House Judiciary Committee hearing where Attorney General Pam Bondi faced intense questioning. The subject was the Department of Justice’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files, a dark chapter in our nation’s history that demands righteous anger and a commitment to transparency.
Democrats on the committee accused Bondi of protecting powerful people and mishandling the release of sensitive information. Bondi fought back, accusing her critics of political theatrics and distracting from the real issues facing Americans.
As people of faith, we are called to be seekers of truth. The Bible tells us in John 8:32, “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” This principle must apply to our government and its leaders, especially when the well-being of victims hangs in the balance. Read more

“You shall have just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin: I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.” (Leviticus 19:36)

6. Tucker Carlson claims he was ‘DETAINED’ in Israel, Journalist ‘dragged into interrogation room’ - DML News
Conservative podcasting titan Tucker Carlson says he and his staff were detained in Israel on Wednesday following an interview with Mike Huckabee, Donald Trump’s current ambassador to the country.
The former Fox News host flew into Tel Aviv on Wednesday for a sit-down interview with Huckabee, who challenged Carlson to speak to him directly following an online spat about Israel’s treatment of Christians. Carlson, who frequently criticizes Israel for its military actions in Gaza and treatment of Christians, took Huckabee up on his offer.
But as critics and pro-Israel activists began piling on Carlson for purportedly not leaving the airport during his brief visit, Carlson revealed that he was met with hostility in the Middle Eastern country. In a statement to the Daily Mail, Carlson wrote, “Men who identified themselves as airport security took our passports, hauled our executive producer into a side room and then demanded to know what we spoke to Ambassador Huckabee about… It was bizarre. We’re now out of the country.” Read more

Stupidocrisy: When the game is no longer the game
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, February 18, 2026
There has been a lot written lately about the Olympics, halftime shows, and politics wrapped around both. The stories themselves matter less than what they reveal. American culture now treats almost every public moment as a referendum on ideology. Even sports, once the national coffee table where everybody gathered, gets pulled under a microscope. Some US athletes use international competition to voice grievances or defend social causes while wearing the flag. The Super Bowl produces the same effect, where one halftime show sparks outrage and a competing political halftime production answers it. None of this is isolated. It’s a mirror. We are a nation that no longer watches together, we sadly watch against each other.
Athletes using their platform is not new. In earlier eras some spoke because real injustice demanded it. That history is legitimate and understandable. What has changed is scale and expectation. Now every moment carries pressure to make a statement whether or not the moment calls for it. A performance is interpreted as activism. Silence is interpreted as activism. A song choice becomes a political document. The reaction cycle follows instantly, applause from one camp, fury from the other. The game itself becomes secondary to the commentary about the game. We moved from cultural expression to cultural combat, and the score that matters most happens on social media rather than the field. Read More

SCOTUS decisions to be issued this week, what could be released
|
|
|
|
Justices on the U.S. Supreme Court announced several days in the next week where they may release decisions in certain cases.
The high court said it may announce opinions on Feb. 20, Feb. 23, Feb. 24 and Feb. 25. It is possible for revisions or late changes to effect what, if any, decisions are released on a certain day but the justices rarely retract an opinion announcement.
After justices hear oral arguments in a case, they hold a conference to vote on their decision. After voting, the most senior justice in the majority will assign who writes the majority opinion in the court.
If Chief Justice John Roberts votes in the majority, he will assign who is in charge of writing the majority opinion. The most senior judge of those who dissent will write the court's dissenting opinion. (The Center Square) Read more

Father, we pray for the decisions coming soon from the Supreme Court to be made according to Your watchful care over this nation. Our heart is always to see Your will at work in our country, no matter what our personal opinions may be, so we ask again, that You would align the decisions being discussed and written according to Your intention for us. We particularly ask You to deal with the hostile influences that may be tending to sway the justices out of fear or pressure; may they be pushed out the door and their voices muted, so that Your voice is quite easy to hear, in Jesus's name.

Some Democrats to boycott Trump State of the Union for rally
|
|
|
|
WASHINGTON, Feb 18 (Reuters) - A group of liberal U.S. lawmakers will abandon President Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech on Tuesday for an outdoor rally to protest his policies, marking a rare coordinated boycott as partisan tensions around the annual address intensify.
About a dozen Democrats in the Senate and House of Representatives have announced their participation in a "People's State of the Union" event on the National Mall, near the Capitol, to highlight their opposition to the Republican administration's policies, organizers said on Wednesday.
Among the lawmakers set to appear at the 8:30 p.m. (0130 GMT on Wednesday) rally — just ahead of Trump’s 9 p.m. speech — are Senators Jeff Merkley of Oregon, Chris Murphy of Connecticut and Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, along with Representatives Becca Balint of Vermont, Greg Casar of Texas, and Pramila Jayapal of Washington state.
"It’s not a surprise that they refuse to celebrate and honor the Americans who have benefited from the commonsense policies Republicans have governed with," said White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson, who added that Democrats have voted against Trump initiatives on taxes and mass deportation of immigrants. Holy One, we pray for a hard stop to this nasty partisan rhetoric in Congress, in Jesus's name. We loose civility and dignity upon our Congress and pray for Godly righteousness to move in our states. We pray for these ones to be seen as divisive and hostile to the civil government of our nation and that their program would fall on its face. May there be peace in the land while the people watch President Trump deliver the State of the Union speech, in Jesus's name.
And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers," (1 Peter 1:17-18)

Tourists walk pilgrimage road from Jesus' era for first time in 2,000 years: 'Deeply significant'
|
|
|
1,970-foot Pilgrims' Road connected Pool of Siloam to Temple Mount, had remained buried since Great Revolt
|
|
|
For the first time in 2,000 years, visitors can walk the ancient Pilgrims' Road — a historic path dating back to the time of Jesus.
Known to archaeologists as the stepped street, Pilgrims' Road is a path in East Jerusalem that once served as the city's main thoroughfare.
It connected the Pool of Siloam to the Temple Mount during the Second Temple period, which lasted from 516 B.C. to 70 A.D.
Constructed in the first century A.D., the road runs nearly half a mile — about 1,970 feet — through ancient Jerusalem.
Now, tourists can walk in the footsteps of Jesus — and other first-century Jews — thanks to the City of David archaeological site.
In a Feb. 10 statement, the City of David announced that the first tour has concluded, with participants including Israeli President Isaac Herzog and philanthropist Miriam Adelson.
The road served "as a major artery of movement in ancient Jerusalem," the organization said.
"Local residents, merchants, visitors and pilgrims passed along this route, arriving in Jerusalem from across the land and from around the world," the City of David said. (Fox News) Read more
