Planned Parenthood is Fully Defunded After Dropping Lawsuit
|
|
Planned Parenthood has voluntarily dismissed its lawsuit challenging a defunding provision in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, marking a major victory for pro-life advocates who have long sought to end taxpayer support for the nation’s largest abortion company.
The abortion giant dropped its legal challenge Friday to the law that redirects Medicaid funding away from abortion businesses for one year.
The move follows a U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit ruling in September that lifted a preliminary injunction in a related case, allowing the Trump administration to continue withholding reimbursements from nearly 600 Planned Parenthood clinics across 48 states.
“The American people do not want their tax dollars propping up the abortion industry,” said Erik Baptist, senior counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom, which filed a friend-of-the-court brief in support of the defunding. “This legal action should never have happened in the first place, and now we are assured that Planned Parenthood will not bypass the people’s choice to protect taxpayer funding.” (Life News) Read More Here

Report: 'ICE Out' Protest Funded by China-Linked Billionaire Donor
|

The anti-ICE rallies in Minnesota and across the country may appear organic, but one “dark money” expert believes it is funded by leftist billionaires.
Roughly 15,000 activists attended the “ICE Out” protest in Minneapolis on Friday, with many protestors chanting “ICE out now,” demanding an end to immigration enforcement in the city.
The New York Post found that the protests are backed and organized by leftist billionaires.
Scott Walter, president of Capital Research and an expert on so-called “dark money” groups, said, “My team’s best judgement is that it’s the Neville Singham network that is most active [in Minnesota], partly because that’s the most crazy network. But they aren’t alone.”
The outlet explained that Walter was referring to the People’s Forum and the Party for Socialism and Liberation, which are “both funded by the China-based former software exec Singham. Both groups promoted the ‘ICE Out’ protests — which were organized by another group, called 50501 — through social media.”
“What’s new is, we are seeing truly extreme Communist splinter groups showing up alongside an American Federation for Teachers union or the Ford Foundation,” Walter continued.
He added, “That’s a disturbing trend for us who follow these things. Normally, they wouldn’t have been cheek by jowl publicly with those people," Walter remarked, “That kind of self-policing on the left seems to be disappearing.” (Breitbart) Read more here.

Left-Wing Groups Push for Protesters to Get Hurt by ICE for Propaganda
|
|
A number of highly organized and heavily funded groups are pushing anti-ICE protesters into wild confrontations with federal agents, so the groups can use the incidents for propaganda purposes and to secure greater power and even more funding.
One such organization calls itself Defend the 612 (the numbers represent a Minneapolis zip code), according to City Journal.
“This cycle reveals the core strategy of Defend the 612’s leadership,” City Journal reports, “using casualties as a catalyst for further escalation. Organizers continue to push volunteers into unpredictable scenes, ensuring continued confrontations between residents and federal agents, while the professional architects of the chaos remain shielded from the consequences.”
The pro-illegal alien group claims its goal is to “protect” Minneapolis neighborhoods, and characterizes its support for migrant murderers, rapists, drug dealers, and gang members as an “act of love and caring.”
“Minneapolis will not accept federal occupation and we will not accept the violent invasion by immoral storm-troopers who have been given orders to terrorize our community and riot in our streets. Masked agents try to kidnap our babies and tear families apart again and again, but the 612 is completely clear and united: We want ICE OUT of our home and there is nothing that will ever stop us from boldly and openly taking care of each other,” the extremist, left-wing group exclaims.
The form this “taking care of each other” takes, though, is to train their so-called “ICE watchers” to get into increasingly risky and dangerous confrontations with police and federal law enforcement officers, according to City Journal.
As Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow reported in October, these groups are heavily funded by foreign billionaires such as George Soros and Neville Roy Singham. (Breitbart)

Border czar Tom Homan says over 145,000 missing children brought in under Biden have been found

Border czar Tom Homan recently announced that authorities have located more than 145,000 children that had been lost amid the millions of illegal immigrants that poured across the U.S. border under the Biden administration.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Office of Refugee Resettlement at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services have been working tirelessly "to locate more than 300,000 unaccompanied alien children that the Biden administration turned over to unvetted sponsors, lost track of, and weren't looking [for]," Homan said in a Jan. 30 post on X.
"Through their outstanding efforts, they have so far been able to locate more than 145,000! President Trump promised that we would find these children, and under his strong leadership and with his unwavering support, the patriots at these, and other partner agencies have been — and will continue to do — just that," Homan added.
In response to a post from journalist Nick Sorter denouncing legacy media for allegedly ignoring "the largest child trafficking operation in U.S. history — enabled by Biden and [former U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro] Mayorkas," Homan replied, "Exactly right, Nick!"
A report from the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Office of Inspector General released in August 2024, while Biden was still president, found that more than 323,000 children who crossed over the border remained unaccounted for in the United States. (Christian Post) Read more here.

Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) introduced legislation on Tuesday that would set a 25-year moratorium on immigration from Somalia, citing a failure to assimilate in the United States as well as the rampant abuse of federal benefits programs and fraud.
“Mass Somali immigration makes the United States weaker, poorer and erodes social trust,” Gill said in a written statement to Breitbart News about his legislation, the Somalia Immigration Moratorium Act.
“The sole aim of our immigration system is to benefit American citizens, not facilitate mass migration from corrupt, failed societies. The recent fraud scandal in Minnesota highlights the acute dangers of unchecked immigration. A Somalia immigration moratorium puts the American people first, restores our national sovereignty, protects taxpayers and supports public safety.”
Gill introduced his legislation to amend section 212 of the Immigration and Nationality Act to bar immigration relief for certain citizens of Somalia for 25 years, while preserving existing lawful status and American treaty obligations. The legislation would be consistent with President Donald Trump’s Proclamation 10998, Proclamation 10949, and Executive Order 13769. The legislation would codify Trump’s Proclamation 10998.
The moratorium would not apply to those in the country before the enactment of the legislation, lawful permanent residents, and diplomatic or international organization visas. (Breitbart) Read more here.

US Forces Shoot Down Iranian Drone Over Arabian Sea
|

A U.S. fighter jet shot down an Iranian drone as it approached a U.S. aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea on Feb. 3, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced.
The incident comes at a moment of heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran. President Donald Trump recently ordered naval forces to the Middle East, and has threatened military strikes on Iran if it doesn’t agree to new limits on its nuclear development.
CENTCOM, which oversees U.S. military operations in the Middle East, said the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln was operating about 500 miles from Iran’s southern coast on Tuesday, when U.S. forces spotted what they identified as an Iranian Shahed-139 drone.
In an emailed press statement, CENTCOM said the Iranian drone “unnecessarily maneuvered toward” the aircraft carrier.
CENTCOM said U.S. forces issued de-escalatory instructions, but the drone continued on its path toward the aircraft carrier. That’s when an F-35C Lighting II stealth fighter jet assigned to the aircraft carrier intervened and shot down the drone.
“No American service members were harmed during the incident, and no U.S. equipment was damaged,” CENTCOM said of the incident.
CENTCOM reported a separate incident hours later, in which two Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) boats and an Iranian Mohajer drone approached a U.S.-flagged and U.S.-crewed merchant vessel known as the M/V Stena Imperative. The merchant vessel was operating near the Strait of Hormuz at the time.
The IRGC boats allegedly threatened to board the U.S. merchant vessel, but the guided-missile destroyer USS McFaul arrived on the scene. The U.S. Air Force also intervened to provide defensive air support.
According to CENTCOM, this second incident de-escalated after the U.S. warship and aircraft intervened. (Fox News) Read more here.

The IDF publishes drone footage it says shows armed Hamas operatives using ambulances to transport weapons in northern Gaza.
The military says that “routine drone operations” in the Jabalia area, close to the Gaza ceasefire line, “exposed how armed Hamas terrorists repeatedly and systematically use ambulances to transfer operatives and weapons from a hospital to a school.”
The clips show gunmen operating around an ambulance at two locations.
“This is further proof of the cynical exploitation carried out by Hamas on a regular basis and of its violations of international law under the cover of the civilian population for terrorist purposes,” the IDF says. (Read more)

Anti-Hamas militias across Gaza appear to be taking concrete, coordinated steps to disrupt the ruling terrorist group, carrying out targeted attacks and expanding their operations in a bid to weaken Hamas’s hold on the territory.
This past weekend, the Popular Forces armed group captured Hamas commander Adham al-Akar in Israeli-held Rafah, in southern Gaza, as militia forces ramp up efforts to curb the Islamist group’s influence and prevent it from regaining control in the war-torn enclave.
In a social media video released after the operation, militia leader Ghassan al-Duhaini is seen with Akar, sending a warning to the Palestinian terrorist group that its fighters will be “punished like the victims of the Spanish Inquisition.”
Following a successful operation in southern Gaza, the Popular Forces handed Akar over to Israeli authorities, the Israeli broadcaster Kan News reported. (Read more)

Israeli prosecutors have charged 12 individuals, including civilians and IDF reservists, in what authorities say was an extensive smuggling operation that moved prohibited goods into the Gaza Strip during the war, helping sustain Hamas financially and operationally.
The indictments, filed Tuesday in the Be’er Sheva District Court, allege the suspects ran a coordinated network that exploited security access and military credentials to transfer goods worth millions of shekels into Gaza in exchange for payment.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Dr. Miriam Adelson, publisher of Israel Hayom, took part in a first of its kind tour of the Pilgrims Road in the City of David, the main thoroughfare of Jerusalem during the Second Temple period, which has now been fully uncovered and opened to the general public for the first time in about 2,000 years.

The Pilgrims Road is a stone-paved street approximately 600 meters (about 1,970 feet) long and an average of eight meters (about 26 feet) wide, preserved in remarkable condition beneath ground level. Excavations began following the rediscovery of the Pool of Siloam in 2004 and were conducted by the Israel Antiquities Authority under complex engineering conditions, beneath a living, modern city. Stupidocrisy: Peaceably Assemble vs Lawlessness

The First Amendment protects speech, press, religion, and the right of the people to peaceably assemble and petition the government. Those words draw lines. Free speech protects expression, even harsh and unpopular ideas. Peaceable assembly protects collective protest conducted without violence or coercion. The amendment does not grant immunity from the law, nor does it bless chaos. It exists to keep government from silencing voices and to keep citizens from silencing one another through force. When passions run hot, the amendment’s restraint is the point. Liberty survives when disagreement stays civil and lawful, not when mobs decide which laws get enforced.
Definitions help when slogans replace substance. Free speech is the right to express ideas without prior restraint or punishment for viewpoint, subject to narrow limits like true threats or incitement. Peaceable assembly means gathering without violence, intimidation, or obstruction, especially of lawful duties. It assumes order, not anarchy. Courts have long recognized time, place, and manner rules precisely because rights coexist. Speech does not become more sacred when it is shouted inches from someone’s face. Assembly does not become peaceable when it blocks emergency routes or interferes with lawful arrests. Hillary Clinton speaks out against 'toxic empathy' — but misses the point

There is a reason some modern political slogans feel impossible to challenge without sounding cruel, un-Christian, or “extreme.” It’s not because they are true. It’s because they are designed to stop you from thinking.
That insight comes from James Lindsay, who recently explained a sloganeering concept most Evangelicals have never heard of but encounter every day: tifa. The word comes from Chinese Communist political strategy and refers to short, emotionally loaded slogans engineered to hijack moral instincts and shut down critical thought.
In plain English: tifa are thought-terminating clichés. They sound compassionate. They feel righteous. But they smuggle in falsehoods, moral confusion, and ideological commitments that most Christians would reject if stated honestly.
Think of phrases like “trans women are women,” “abortion is healthcare,” or “no human being is illegal.” Each is short. Each feels morally coercive. And each dares you to disagree, because disagreement is immediately reframed as hatred, cruelty, or a lack of empathy.
This matters because many Christians are being told — often by other Christians — that the faithful response to cultural conflict is to find a “third way,” lower the temperature, avoid “polarization,” and speak with more nuance. Divorced from concrete moral questions, such responses can be entirely appropriate. But when deployed reflexively, those generic calls are often a trap.
James Lindsay explains that tifa (提法) works in a simple but disruptive way. It uses emotionally charged slogans to confuse moral thinking and corner people into agreement before they’ve had time to think.
First, these slogans blur important distinctions — between compassion and approval, love and affirmation, human dignity and moral truth. Second, these slogans rig the conversation so that disagreeing doesn’t just sound wrong, but cruel or mean. Before you’ve even made an argument, you’re made to look heartless.
Nowhere is this clearer than in The Atlantic article by Hillary Clinton, titled “MAGA’s War on Empathy.” The piece is a case study in tifa applied to Christians. Her goal is to limit your ability to discern.
Clinton frames the entire moral universe this way: empathy equals Christianity, and resistance to progressive policies equals cruelty. “How can a person of conscience justify the lack of compassion and empathy,” she asks, while collapsing complex moral debates about immigration, abortion, and gender ideology into a single accusation — you don’t care. Father God, in reading this article, we actually feel sorry for Hillary Clinton. For over decades, she has been so deeply indoctinrated in Communist ideology that, at this time, she literally cannot think straight.
We reject the Chinese teachings of "tifa" and we ask You, dear Lord, to forgive Hillary Clinton, for she literally does not know what she is doing! We ask, too, that many who will read this article -- especially believers -- would not fall into this trap of deceptive thinking but instead, when questioned, would be granted the grace from heaven to counter all lies with the truth of the Gospel.

Mamdani's Corrections Chief Did Time in the Jail He Will Now Oversee

New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani has tapped an ex-con to run the city’s embattled corrections system — with his appointee set to oversee the same jail where he served time for robbery in the 1980s.
Named Saturday as commissioner of the city’s Department of Correction was Stanley Richards, a former felon turned criminal justice reformer, as the new mayor’s administration aims to push a rehabilitation-focused overhaul of corrections.
The 64-year-old Richards will take office in mid-February with a $243,000 annual salary.
“Stanley will make history in this role as the first ever formerly incarcerated person to serve as commissioner,” Mamdani said. “I will turn to Stanley as we work to build a city where justice is at the heart of our corrections system.”
Richards previously worked as president of the nonprofit Fortune Society that provides housing and other services for ex-cons. He is also the city department of correction’s former deputy commissioner of programs and operations.
Richards was convicted of robbery in the late 1980s and served two and a half years on Rikers Island before doing an additional four and a half years in state prison, according to reporting by the Gothamist. He was released in 1991.
Richards is taking over a jail system in crisis. According to a report by Fox News:
"The appointment comes as New York City’s jail system remains under heightened federal scrutiny. Earlier this week, a federal judge appointed an outside remediation manager to oversee reforms at Rikers Island after years of violence, staff shortages and federal court findings that city leadership failed to fix conditions inside the jails. Rikers was originally set to be demolished by August 2027 by former Mayor Bill de Blasio."

Authorities are investigating a suspected biological laboratory with alleged Chinese ties discovered inside a Las Vegas home.
SWAT officers served a search warrant Saturday at a residence on the city’s east side after receiving a tip that a biolab was operating inside the home, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
More than 1,000 pieces of evidence with "potential biological and hazardous materials" were primarily located in a locked garage, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Kevin McMahill said during a press briefing on Monday. Authorities said there is no threat to the public.
The property manager of the home, 55-year-old Ori Solomon, was arrested Saturday and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges of disposing and discharging hazardous waste, police said.
LVMPD Sheriff Kevin McMahill said police took extensive precaution while serving the warrant. Authorities, he said, used a robot to clear the home, collect air samples and deploy hazardous materials teams to remove items safely.
In the garage, investigators found multiple refrigerators with vials of unknown liquids, unknown liquids in gallon-size containers, a centrifuge and other laboratory equipment, authorities said.
"Some of that evidence included biological material and liquids that were meticulously collected and sent to FBI labs for testing," police said in a statement. (Fox News)

California Is Shaking Again - Why The Next Big One Won't Just Stay In California

The West Coast is shaking again. In recent weeks, seismic activity along the Pacific Ring of Fire--particularly along California's coastline and inland fault systems--has intensified. What many hoped would be a brief period of tremors has instead become a steady drumbeat of geological reminders that California sits on borrowed time.
In the San Francisco Bay Area alone, hundreds of small earthquakes have been recorded in just days. While most are minor and barely felt, their cumulative effect is unsettling. Earthquakes, unlike hurricanes or wildfires, offer no warning. They arrive without sirens, without forecasts, without mercy. And scientists have been clear for decades: the Big One is not a question of if, but when.
To understand why this matters--far beyond California--we must look honestly at what different earthquake scenarios would actually mean.
When the Earthquake Is "Manageable"
A magnitude 6.0 to 6.9 earthquake, while considered "strong," would be survivable in many areas due to modern building codes. But survivable does not mean painless.
In this scenario, older buildings--particularly unreinforced masonry structures common in historic districts--would suffer severe damage. Power outages could last days. Gas lines would rupture, sparking fires similar to those that devastated San Francisco in 1906. Hospitals would be overwhelmed with injuries. Schools and workplaces would close indefinitely.
Economic losses would likely range from $50 to $150 billion, depending on the location. Insurance companies would strain, but the system would hold. Life would resume--but with scars.
When the Big One Hits
A magnitude 7.5 to 7.9 earthquake along the San Andreas Fault is the scenario most seismologists quietly lose sleep over.
In this case, entire neighborhoods could be rendered uninhabitable within minutes. Bridges and overpasses would collapse. Major freeways--lifelines for commerce and emergency response--would be severed. Ports in Los Angeles and Oakland, critical arteries for global trade, could be shut down for months.
