Louie Giglio Urges Young Adults to Embrace God’s Future at Passion 2026
|
|
In the closing session of Passion 2026, Louie Giglio, pastor of Passion City Church, challenged thousands of young adults to view the conference not as a conclusion, but as a commissioning—one meant to send them into the world “for the glory of God.” Speaking to attendees gathered at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on Jan. 3, Giglio framed the heart of the Passion movement around a single guiding Scripture. “[Passion] is all about Isaiah 26:8,” he said. “This has been our theme for 29 years: ‘Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.’”
During his message, Giglio opened up about a deeply personal season marked by severe anxiety and depression, recalling a time when he was convinced he was nearing death despite repeated medical reassurance. “I was diagnosed with something called the fear of death syndrome,” he told the audience. I thought I was going crazy, and I thought that I was dying. I had to go to somewhere near 20 different doctors to tell me I wasn't dying before I began to believe I wasn't dying. I was losing my mind.”
Despite that painful chapter, Giglio emphasized that the gospel narrative is not limited to what lies behind a person, but powerfully shapes what lies ahead. “But what I want to say to you is this story is about two things. […] It's about the past, and it's about the future,” he said. “And I would love to proclaim today that the God, who is in Globe Life Field, is a God who can deliver us from the past and who can lead us into His future for our life. Lord, we come before Your Throne with PRAISE for the powerful 'Passion 2026' event that took place earlier this month, in Arlington,Texas. We pray hearts were impacted by Spirit-lead worship and life-giving words spoken over each young adult who attended. We pray that by Your Holy Spirit, many surrendered their lives trusting the Lord for their future. We give You all Glory for guiding younger generations in Your holy Ways and also calling back prodigals, by name, all across this nation. May a harvest of believers enter the Kingdom of God and ALL prodigals swiftly return, to once again live their lives according to Your good and perfect Will! The U.S. president said he did not think European leaders would “push back too much” on his attempt to buy the vast strategic island, telling reporters on Monday: “They can’t protect it.”
Future U.S. dealings with Venezuela, Gaza, Ukraine and Iran are also expected to be on the Trump agenda.
So too is Trump’s proposed international Board of Peace, a new body initially tasked with overseeing the next steps in Gaza’s rebuilding, seeks $1 billion in individual national contributions to secure a seat at the table with the joint aim of resolving conflicts, as Breitbart News reported.
These initiatives will be broadened via his unusually large delegation to Davos, in a sign the U.S. wants to make its presence felt at the gathering for global economic and political leaders.
Trump did address the gathering last year, but it was a remote appearance, however even then it shook the gathering before even a single word was spoken by the president just as he has done before.
European Union leaders will hold an emergency summit in Brussels on Thursday to discuss their response to the Greenland crisis, one of the gravest in years to hit transatlantic ties. (Breitbart) Read more here.

Father, we are continually amazed that every time our President is attacked for his plans, he finds a way to show people that what they thought was wrong. They said he would invade Greenland because no one wanted the USA to have it. Today in Davos, he put that to rest, saying he wasn’t going to use military invasion. Then he announced this possible “framework” achieved from several countries to make a deal that would benefit everyone. We praise You, Lord, for a path forward regarding Greenland that will bring blessing and protection for all allies.

One Year of Wins: Trump’s Top Accomplishments in First Year of ‘Golden Age’

President Donald Trump worked at warp speed to “Make America Great Again” in his first year back in office, and the results, on countless fronts, have been bountiful.
Trump inherited from former President Joe Biden a country reeling from a wounded economy and porous border policies that led to mass illegal immigration and a globe facing destabilization with the advent of two major wars in the Middle East and Europe under his predecessor.
On day one of his administration, January 20, 2025, Trump began to take sweeping action to address issues inherited from the Biden administration with 26 executive orders — a harbinger of the breakneck speed at which he would work to implement the MAGA agenda. In total, the Federal Register shows he signed 228 executive orders throughout the first full year of his second term — and that is without mentioning the transformative legislation he signed into law and highly successful foreign policy initiatives he embarked upon.
“President Trump accomplished more in one year than many presidents did in eight. The President delivered on every major campaign promise — securing the border, stopping Biden’s inflation crisis, signing the largest middle-class tax cuts in history, ending woke DEI nonsense, and restoring American strength on the world stage,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told Breitbart News on Monday. “Under President Trump’s leadership, America is safer, stronger, and more prosperous than ever before, and the best is yet to come.”
Trump implemented his wildly successful tariff policies that produced many positive outcomes without spiking inflation, defying critics who claimed it would, began to heal the American economy, secured the southern border, settled or de-escalated numerous conflicts around the globe through his “peace through strength” foreign policy agenda, secured significant tax relief for Americans through his One Big Beautiful Bill Act, protected America’s youth and women from radical leftist trans ideology, and unleashed his and Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Abba, there just aren't words to tell You how much we appreciate all that Your son, Donald, has accomplished in his first full year as our 47th President. We give You praise for Your guidance of his words and actions, some we agreed with and some we didn't, but all glory goes to You for what has been done to restore our nation and nations around the world. Father God, thank You for allowing us to see Your hand in these accomplishments, You provided the insight and ideas that brought together words and actions to begin the process of stopping our borders from being open and available to all that the enemy sent our way, to cut out the myriad of regulatory rules that did nothing but weaken our economy. Thank You that You created man and woman, and thank You that Your son defended Your word. We praise You for giving him a heart of love and compassion for those whose lives You put into his pathway, lives that no one ever knew about that no one even knows about. Thank You for building such strength and courage into President Trump's willingness to move and do what You established for him to do.
We ask You to pour out Your vision and intentions for our President into the hearts of all who hate him, break each heart out of the bondage the enemy created for them when they let their hearts go to hatred, give them courageous hearts to come to You for forgiveness and restoration. Netanyahu: Iran will face unprecedented force if it attacks Israel
|
|
If the Islamic Republic attacks Israel, Jerusalem “will act with might that Iran has not seen before,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday.
“We are closely following what is happening in Iran,” Netanyahu told the Knesset, speaking at a 40-signature debate, which the opposition can call once a month and which the prime minister is obliged to attend.
“We are all looking with a sense of wonder at the heroic struggle of Iran’s citizens to achieve liberty, welfare and justice. We see the atrocities of the massacre ordered by the rulers of Iran,” the premier continued.
According to Netanyahu, “No one can predict what tomorrow will bring in Iran, but one thing is clear: no matter what happens—Iran will not return to being what it was.”
Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei acknowledged for the first time over the weekend that “several thousand” were killed in the nationwide protests that began on Dec. 28, while attributing the deaths and damage to “those linked to Israel and the U.S.,” as quoted by Iranian state media.
“We consider the U.S. president criminal for the casualties, damages and slander he inflicted on the Iranian nation,” the supreme leader declared.
Israel’s Channel 12 News reported on Sunday that Jerusalem’s defense establishment believes that President Donald Trump could still follow through on his promise to come to the protesters’ rescue.
The channel said U.S. aerial and naval forces are expected to complete military preparations within days, giving Washington the option of ordering a large-scale strike. (Breitbart) Read more here.

Abba, we give You praise for PM Netanyahu's stance on Iran, thank You that he left no question of what the consequences would be if Iran decides to attack Israel. Father God, we ask You to intervene in the hearts of the Iranian leadership, especially the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Father, he admitted today that there were thousands of people murdered in cold blood as they were protesting for their freedom. We ask You to bring dreams and visions to him and all the top leadership of Your displeasure with such atrocities, pour the fear of You into their hearts, let the fear be strong and overpowering, just as the soldiers were against the unarmed people. We ask for justice for all Iranians whose lives have been taken from them, for their families, for those who are imprisoned, for those who were intentionally blinded by the soldiers. Let Your presence become their strength and their song. We ask this in the name of Shaphat, Our Judge.

Israel demolishes UNRWA’s East Jerusalem headquarters; UN agency: ‘Unprecedented attack’

Israel on Tuesday began demolishing the East Jerusalem headquarters of UNRWA, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees and their descendants, with Israeli forces entering the compound with bulldozers and other demolition equipment in the early morning and destroying buildings in what UNRWA called an “unprecedented attack.”
The move to demolish UNRWA’s headquarters comes after years of legislative measures against the agency, which Israel accuses of collusion with Hamas and participation in terror activities.
The Knesset passed a pair of laws in late October 2024 banning UNRWA from operating within Israeli territory. Despite the ban, UNRWA operations, including schools, healthcare and other social services, are still hobbling along in East Jerusalem.
UNRWA spokesman Jonathan Fowler said in a statement to the international press that Israeli forces “stormed into” the compound shortly after 7 a.m. local time.
“This is an unprecedented attack against UNRWA and its premises. And it also constitutes a serious violation of international law and the privileges and immunities of the United Nations,” he added. (Breitbart) Read more here.

Abba, we give You praise and thanksgiving for the destruction of the UNRWA's compound. Thank You that Hamas will never again be able to maintain tunnels under this UN agency. We ask that as this compound is torn down, so Hamas will be, let this be the beginning of the end of this terrorist organization in East Jerusalem and Gaza. We ask for Hamas soldiers to have all guns, ammunition and any other weapons of war taken from them and destroyed. 1. Amid Iran tensions, IDF chief says military ready to act ‘against any enemy’

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir on Wednesday said the military was prepared to act against any enemy posing a threat to the country amid ongoing tensions with Iran.
During a visit to the Nevatim Airbase in southern Israel, Zamir told Israeli Air Force pilots and air personnel that the military “will know how to strike powerfully in any arena against any enemy that threatens the security of the State of Israel,” according to remarks provided by the military.
The base is home to the IAF’s F-35I stealth fighters. This week, three new F-35s joined the IAF’s arsenal, bringing its total to 48. (Read more)

2. ‘Judea and Samaria’: The push to rebrand Israel’s biblical heartland - JNS
The advancing of bills in U.S. states seeking to require the use of “Judea and Samaria” on official documents instead of the “West Bank” represents a strategic step in defending not only Israel, but the western world, according to Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan.
Dagan attended events in both Florida and Georgia last week as part of his “Friends of Samaria in the U.S.” initiative, as legislators pledged to advance bills on the issue in both of those states respectively.
“Especially after Oct. 7, we all understand that construction and sovereignty in Judea and Samaria are essential to the security of Israel and the United States, and we stand together. 3. 'Theater of the absurd': Israel pulls out of Open Government Partnership

Following additional staff work conducted at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the direction of Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, the Minister decided to withdraw from the “Open Government Partnership," which Israel joined in 2012.
The organization was established in 2011 by former US President Barack Obama to implement the principles of open government in governmental activity.
The Foreign Ministry stated that the decision will be advanced immediately, in cooperation with Minister of Economy Nir Barkat.
“In recent months, the organization has become a political tool for attacking Israel and for promoting anti-Israel initiatives, in a manner that contradicts the principles of the Partnership and the reasons that underpinned Israel’s accession to the body. 4. Christian leaders warn of threats to unity in the Holy Land - Christian Today
Senior Christian leaders in Jerusalem have warned that outside political and ideological interference could be endangering the unity and survival of Christianity in the Holy Land.
The Patriarchs and Heads of Churches in the region said local individuals promoting “damaging ideologies, such as Christian Zionism ... mislead the public, sow confusion, and harm the unity of our flock”.
The warning comes amid growing concern among Palestinian Christians over Israeli policies, including land confiscation, settlement expansion, and pressure on church-owned property. Church leaders said these measures were accelerating the erosion of one of the world’s oldest continuous Christian communities. They claimed that these efforts had received backing from “certain political actors in Israel and beyond” and warned that such support threatened Christian communities across the wider Middle East.
The leaders added, "These individuals have been welcomed at official levels both locally and internationally. Such actions constitute interference in the internal life of the churches and disregard the pastoral responsibility vested in the Patriarchs and Heads of Churches in Jerusalem." (Read more)

Israeli police have, for the first time, permitted Jewish visitors to enter the Temple Mount carrying printed prayer materials, marking a notable shift in the management of one of Jerusalem’s most sensitive religious sites.
According to multiple reports, Jewish worshippers were handed liturgical leaflets on Wednesday morning ahead of their ascent to the compound.
The leaflets reportedly include religious guidelines for visiting the site, a prayer to recite before ascending, and the Amidah, a central prayer in Jewish liturgy.
Until now, while discreet forms of Jewish prayer had increasingly been tolerated, bringing any religious items or printed texts onto the site—such as prayer books, tallit, or tefillin—remained strictly prohibited. (Read more)

3. Top Trump admin education official exposes blue state financial aid fraud offenders - Fox News
A top Trump administration Education Department official exposed a pair of blue states that he says are among the worst for federal student aid fraud as officials crack down on scammers who are exploiting the taxpayer-funded programs.
In 2025, the Department of Education said it prevented $1 billion of fraud in the aid programs. Under Secretary of Education Nicholas Kent said these schemes are not only a waste of taxpayer money, but also disproportionately affect low-income students trying to pay for their education.
During a 12-month period between 2024 and 2025, scammers stole at least $10 million in federal financial aid from community colleges in California. According to one report, 34% of applications to community colleges in the state last year were likely fake. Kent explained that in many cases, "ghost students" are to blame. (Read more)

4. Federal Judges Take Over Hiring For Key DOJ Spot After Disqualifying Trump Attorney - DML News
Chief United States District Court Judge M. Hannah Lauck issued an order directing the court’s clerk to “publish a vacancy announcement on the Court’s website and in the Richmond Times-Dispatch, The Washington Post, The Virginian-Pilot and Virginia Lawyers Weekly.”
Halligan, whose appointment was found unlawful in November when a judge dismissed her cases against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James, has continued to operate in the role.
Attorney General Pam Bondi released the following statement Tuesday night, slamming the Democrat senators who used the “blue slip” process to prevent Halligan from being confirmed to the position.
“The circumstances that led to this outcome are deeply misguided. We are living in a time when a democratically elected President’s ability to staff key law enforcement positions faces serious obstacles. The Department of Justice will continue to seek review of decisions like this that hinder our ability to keep the American people safe,” Bondi added.

5. GOP agrees to cut ICE funding to secure bipartisan deal and avoid shutdown - DML News
Congressional Republicans have agreed to cut funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement and impose new restrictions on the agency in order to secure a bipartisan deal to fund the government and avoid a shutdown — a concession that comes even as President Donald Trump escalates ICE enforcement nationwide.
The cuts were tucked into a 1,059-page Homeland Security funding bill negotiated by the Senate and House Appropriations Committees and made public Tuesday. The bill cuts $115 million from ICE’s immigration enforcement and removal operations. It reduces the number of detention beds in migrant holding facilities by 5,500 and cuts funding for Customs and Border Protection by $1.8 billion.
The legislation also earmarks $20 million to equip ICE agents with body cameras and money to provide agents with training for conflict de-escalation tactics. House Appropriations Committee Chairman Tom Cole (R-OK) chalked up the cuts to what was needed to “get a deal” on funding the government and avoid another shutdown. (Read more)

6. Supreme Court skeptical of Trump's attempt to fire the Fed's Lisa Cook - NBC News
Tackling an issue with huge ramifications for both the economy and the structure of government, the Supreme Court on Wednesday appeared unlikely to green-light President Donald Trump's attempt to oust Federal Reserve board member Lisa Cook.
With Trump seeking to exert control over the central bank, which, among other things, sets interest rates, the case has taken on even greater importance after it emerged that the Justice Department is investigatingFederal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.
During two hours of oral argument on whether Trump can immediately fire Cook, both conservative and liberal justices appeared sympathetic to the idea that she should have some ability to challenge Trump’s firing. Federal Reserve board members, by law, can only be fired “for cause,” which requires some showing of wrongdoing. After firing her, Trump cited allegations of mortgage fraud, which Cook has denied. Bank documents obtained by NBC News appear to contradict the fraud claim. (Read more)

Stupidocrisy—Somalis Syndrome

The public debate over Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Somalis has been framed as a sweeping humanitarian reversal. The numbers tell a calmer story. Roughly 260,000 people of Somali descent live in the United States, with the largest concentration in the Minneapolis–St. Paul region. Nearly 58 percent of Somali Minnesotans were US born, and among those born overseas, about 87 percent are naturalized citizens. That context matters. When the Trump administration announced the end of TPS protections, the practical effect applied to less than 2,500 Somalis. The policy change functioned largely as a political signal, not a mass displacement. Headlines aside, the real issue is far deeper.
That deeper issue traces back to policy decisions made under democrats Barack Obama and Joe Biden, when refugee admissions and resettlement accelerated without equal attention to assimilation, enforcement, or local capacity. Census data shows that nearly half of foreign-born Somali Minnesotans arrived in the U.S. in 2010 or later. That kind of growth reshapes cities fast. Political organization followed just as quickly, culminating in the election of, yet another democrat, Ilhan Omar. Civic integration requires shared expectations, language acquisition, respect for law, and accountability—in short, assimilation. Those requirements were treated as optional by Obama and Biden, and the results are now visible. Read More

U.S. President Donald Trump will address globalist elites in Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday at the World Economic Forum (WEF) and set out the future of Greenland as well as the course, direction and speed of a host of other geopolitical initiatives he is driving.
AFP reports, “Trump is expected to dominate the week-long gathering of global elites at the Swiss ski resort, putting the transatlantic alliance to the test with his push to take over the Danish autonomous territory.”
A frantic Europe is weighing countermeasures after Trump threatened to impose tariffs on eight European countries regarding the Greenland standoff — though Washington has warned any retaliatory levies over moves to secure the Arctic would be “unwise.”
The AFP reports notes Trump is not due to arrive at the WEF until Wednesday, but was already overshadowing the agenda with a series of posts on his Truth Social platform, saying he had a “very good” call with NATO chief Mark Rutte over Greenland.
“I agreed to a meeting of the various parties in Davos, Switzerland,” he said in the post late Monday, AFP notes.
The U.S. president said he did not think European leaders would “push back too much” on his attempt to buy the vast strategic island, telling reporters on Monday: “They can’t protect it.”
Future U.S. dealings with Venezuela, Gaza, Ukraine and Iran are also expected to be on the Trump agenda.
So too is Trump’s proposed international Board of Peace, a new body initially tasked with overseeing the next steps in Gaza’s rebuilding, seeks $1 billion in individual national contributions to secure a seat at the table with the joint aim of resolving conflicts, as Breitbart News reported.
These initiatives will be broadened via his unusually large delegation to Davos, in a sign the U.S. wants to make its presence felt at the gathering for global economic and political leaders. (Breitbart) Read more here

Abba, Your son, Donald has the world leaders at Devos very upset concerning his push to take over control of Greenland for US security against China and Russia's Arctic bases that are already in existence. Father God, send Holy Spirit to pour Your peace into the hearts of all who are fearful of the changes President Trump is talking about. Give Denmark the grace and willingness to acknowledge it does not have the resources to protect Greenland financially or militarily. Jesus, we ask You to silence the voice of the enemy during these discussions. We ask for You to put truth into the mouths of every delegate that speaks at these meetings, open ears, eyes, minds and hearts to truth that will bring about Your plans for Greenland and the Arctic. We ask this in the name El Shaddai, God Almighty, the God who has ultimate power over all things.

(From Jon Hamill) Prophets, politicos, market forecasters, and military analysts are all issuing similar warnings. Their spheres of expertise may be different, but their conclusions are virtually the same: America is at a historic crossroads. And heaven is calling for prayer to be increased for America.
Of course, that’s what “Give Him 15” is all about! Our friend and mentor, Dutch Sheets, invited us to write a post conveying this call after Lynnie Harlowe prophesied to us about a “Big Ben moment for America.” In Lynnie’s own words:
“I saw a vision of Big Ben, and I heard the phrase ‘Big Ben Minute,’” Lynnie said, referring to a nightly minute of prayer engaged in by citizens of Great Britain during WWII, which helped turn the course of the war. “I knew right then the Lord was saying we are now in a ‘Big Ben moment’ for America. We are at a tipping point for America, where we can go one way or another.”
Since then, calls to engage in fervent prayer have come from across the spectrum of the Body of Christ. Even evangelist Franklin Graham has called for a minute of prayer for America. A Spirit-breathed groundswell of intercession is needed, and as we respond our prayers will move the nation in the right direction.

Pray with me: (From Dutch Sheets)
Father God, we pray for the continued protection of America and her leaders. And given the very real threats, we pray especially for the protection of President Trump and his administration. Please move through the Secret Service, our intelligence, and law enforcement communities to expose all plots against their lives. Release Your angels to have charge over them, to watch over, protect, and defend against all the schemes of darkness. According to Isaiah 28:18, we plead the blood of Jesus against all demonic powers set against President Trump and his administration. Shut the gates of sabotage!
And Father God, on the one-year anniversary of President Trump’s inauguration, we commit to You the year to come. Please make Yourself known to President Trump in unmistakable ways. Show him Your love. Impart to him grace to stand even more effectively as a true father for the nation. And if he moves in any direction You deem detrimental, grant him wisdom to realign with Your heart and priorities.
And Father, on the 250th anniversary of America’s independence, we ask You to take the lead! Move again with a freedom movement for America, and for the nations of the earth. Help us to be minutemen for this movement - move upon many to participate in the nightly minute of prayer. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Rare and original American founding documents to fly on Freedom Plane across nation

Boeing 737 will carry original Declaration of Independence engraving and Constitution draft to eight cities
|

In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, a plane will showcase rare documents from our nation’s founding, giving Americans the opportunity to "experience" history right before their eyes.
The National Archives and Records Administration and National Archives Foundation (NAF) announced this week that the documents will be traveling in a Boeing 737 dubbed the Freedom Plane.
The Freedom Plane will travel to eight different cities starting in March and concluding at the end of August. The cities are Kansas City, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Houston, Denver, Miami, Dearborn and Seattle.
On the plane will be the original engraving of the Declaration of Independence in 1823 — one of only about 50 known engraved copies.
The document was commissioned by John Quincy Adams and was made by engraver William J. Stone, according to NAF.
The Articles of Association of 1774 was signed by all 53 delegates urging colonists to boycott British goods, marking the Continental Congress's first protest against Britain.
This document will be on the plane as well.
Oaths of Allegiance signed by George Washington, Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr during the Revolutionary War in 1778 are included as well. (Fox News) Read More
