Young leaders prepare to share Jesus with Native America this summer
|
|
|
United States (MNN) — Forty indigenous young adults are on a journey this July to share Jesus with Native America, a yearly event Hutchcraft Ministries calls the Summer of Hope. The Summer of Hope immediately follows Hutchcraft Ministries’ Warrior Leadership Summit in late June, which equips young indigenous leaders in the Word of God. Both are part of their broader On Eagles’ Wings (OEW) initiative. OEW is focused on bringing the hope of Jesus to Native America.
Brad Hutchcraft says that young adults apply to join the OEW Hope team. The chosen group partners with churches and parachurch organizations to create events with food, sports, and crowd icebreakers for 10 different communities. But the main event is when the Native young adults share their hope stories. “Some of them are able to say, ‘And yes, we’ve even had the suicide attempts, but we have found hope, and His name is Jesus,’” Hutchcraft says. “And when they paint this picture of who Jesus is and the difference He makes, it is amazing to see the walls that come down.”
The team will spend around three days in each community, sharing the hope of the Gospel. They are driven by a deep stirring of their hearts for those who have not yet heard the Good News. “They don’t want their friends, they don’t want these people that they’re meeting for the first time, to live another day without Jesus, because they know the difference Jesus can make,” Hutchcraft says. “So these team members, they come back from some of these events and there will be tears. There will be weeping because of their desire that people will choose Jesus.” (Missions Network) Read More Here
Father, we thank You for these young native believers whom you have Called to spread the gospel for the glory of God. Strengthen them in their walk with you and empower their words as they share within their own communities about HOPE in Jesus Christ. May the Gospel spread like wildfire, bringing transformation and healing by Your Holy Spirit. In the Name of Yeshua, we declare a harvest of new believers will come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior! By the Blood of the Lamb, we lift his prayer- Amen.

Sen. Lindsey Graham dead at 71 after 'brief and sudden' illness, office says
|
|
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., died Saturday evening following a "brief and sudden" illness, according to a statement from his office. He was 71.
"On the evening of Saturday, July 11, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham passed away from a brief and sudden illness," his office said.
"Senator Graham's family appreciates prayers at this time and asks for privacy during this incredibly difficult period," it continued.
President Donald Trump reacted to Graham's death, calling the longtime South Carolina senator a "true American Patriot."
"Senator Lindsey Graham, one of the greatest people and Senators I have ever known, is dead!" Trump posted on Truth Social. "He was always working, and was a true American Patriot. Lindsey will be greatly missed!!! DETAILS AND ARRANGEMENTS TO FOLLOW. So sad!"
South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster released a statement early Sunday morning expressing that he is "devastated" by the news of Graham's passing."Peggy and I – and our children – are devastated," he said in a statement. "Lindsey Graham is irreplaceable. The fiercest of fighters for South Carolina and America – and a loyal and steadfast friend. We grieve with Darline, his family and his developed staff. May God hold him gently in the palm of his hand. We shall not see his likes again." (Fox News) Read more

Lord God, we are sad to see the death of Senator Lindsey Graham, who was described as a “consequential lion” in the Senate. He was instrumental in the confirmation of Justice Kavanaugh, which assisted in bringing about the removal of Roe v. Wade. He became a friend of President Trump even though they started off as enemies. He was a military veteran for 33 years and a strong supporter of Israel. Literally until the day he died, he served the Nation. He was a Christian who understood the value of forgiveness. We know that You received him into heavenly places with joy. Thank You, Lord, for his life as an effective warrior who loved America.
“And I heard a voice from heaven saying, ‘Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ ‘Blessed indeed,’ says the Spirit, ‘that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!’” (Revelation 14:13)

Trump Says He Won’t Sign Major Housing Bill Passed by Congress
|
|
President Donald Trump said on July 10 that he will not sign a housing bill passed by members of both parties in Congress.
“I will not sign the Housing Bill, which has been fully approved by Congress and sent to the White House, in PROTEST over the fact that the United States Senate is not capable of passing THE SAVE AMERICA ACT,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Asked whether that meant Trump would veto the legislation, the White House declined to answer in an email to The Epoch Times.
The president’s deadline to veto the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act is Friday. If he does not veto the bill, it will automatically become law once the deadline passes.
If he does veto it, two-thirds of each chamber would be needed to override the veto.
Congress passed the housing bill, designed to lower home prices, in the Senate by an 85–5 vote and in the House by a 358–32 vote. (Read more)
|
|
Lord, we are also concerned about the lack of action on the Save America bill. The Housing Bill goes into effect on July 10 even without the President’s signature, and the margins are well over those needed to override a veto. We pray that You will move on all Senate members of any party to secure our elections – and let all obstacles be revealed and dispelled.

Marco Rubio steps in after Tim Walz pardoned illegal alien child rapist before deportation
|
|
An illegal alien child rapist from Laos who was set for deportation until Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and the State Board of Pardons granted him clemency has been removed from the United States, Secretary of State Marco Rubio told Fox News Digital.
Rubio stepped in to terminate Tue Lue Vang's legal status in the U.S. and ensure that Walz's actions would not create roadblocks for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) removing him from the country.
"Just weeks ago, a foreign child rapist was freed to once again endanger America's children after receiving a pardon from Minnesota Governor Tim Walz," Rubio said. "Tue Lue Vang admitted to committing heinous crimes against a 10-year-old girl in Minnesota. He attempted to pay his victim for her silence and dismissed his acts of child abuse as a 'minor thing.'"
"Just days before he was scheduled to be deported, the Minnesota Governor pardoned him, setting him free to endanger American families once again," Rubio lamented.

Rubio Bringing 60 Nations Together To Confront A Growing Threat
|
|
Secretary of State Marco Rubio will host representatives from more than 60 countries next week for a counterterrorism summit focused on what the Trump administration describes as a resurgence of transnational political extremism, particularly violent far-left networks.
The July 15 gathering in Washington follows President Donald Trump’s counterterrorism strategy released earlier this year, which prioritizes disrupting politically motivated violent groups, including anarchist movements and what the administration describes as Antifa-affiliated networks, while also addressing extremists on the political right.
According to the State Department, the meeting will bring together ministers and senior officials from Europe, Asia, and the Western Hemisphere to improve intelligence sharing and law enforcement cooperation against politically motivated violence.
“Our counterterrorism operating system needs an update to deal with the reality of such threats, to protect American citizens and U.S. national security and interests,” a State Department official told Reuters (Daily Wire) Read more here.

|
Lord, we pray that this meeting will bring consensus rather than conflict. We ask that the constant attacks by the extremist left be stopped, and that this multitude of nations will be able to work together.
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

Trump tells The Post he’s ‘left instructions’ should Iran assassinate him:
‘Bomb them at levels’ never seen before
|
|
President Trump on Friday told The Post he has “left instructions” should Iran succeed in their plots to assassinate him — and there’ll be hell to pay.
“I’ve been on their list for a long time. That’s what we’re dealing with,” he said. “… The only thing is, I’ve left instructions — if anything happens, to just literally bomb them at levels that they’ve never seen before.”
Asked about recent reports that Israel this week flagged intel of a plot to take out the US president, Trump indicated there was no fresh plan from Iran — but said Tehran has wanted him dead for years.
“No, no. Israel came up with nothing. No, no,” he said. “I’ve been No. 1 [on Iran’s kill list] for a long time, and it’s the way life is, you know.” (New York Post) Read more here.

Father, we continue to pray for the safety of our President. According to Your Word and Your Authority, we bind the plans of Iranian operatives and loose the power of Your Holy Spirit to stop them.

1. As Iran fades, Turkey emerges as Israel's biggest strategic threat - Jerusalem Post
History, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahusaid in a recent Channel 14 interview, “teaches that when one regional power declines, another rises. Our task is to make sure Israel continues rising faster than anyone else.”
This explains why Netanyahu launched a public campaign in the US this week against President Donald Trump’s apparent willingness to sell the state-of-the-art F-35fighter to Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s Turkey, the state now furiously jockeying to replace Iran as the region’s dominant power.
Indeed, with the sun setting on Iran’s regional hegemony, despite diplomatic missteps that let Tehran off the ropes before a knockout blow, its military capabilities and web of regional proxies have been severely degraded, the sun is rising on Turkey’s ambitions. (Read more)

2. Turkey and Egypt’s military embrace is a strategic nightmare for Israel
- YNET News
The combat training images emerging from Egyptian military facilities this month should trigger immediate alarm within Israel's defense and intelligence communities.
While global attention remains fractured by ongoing conflicts elsewhere, Cairo and Ankara have quietly launched a massive joint military exercise codenamed Golden Eagle. This is no routine training deployment in some remote, abstract landscape. Elite paratroopers, special forces and thunderbolt commando units from both nations are actively practicing synchronized operations on Egyptian soil.
For anyone who understands the intricate chessboard of Middle Eastern geopolitics, this sudden military intimacy is nothing short of a profound alarm bell. It represents the formalization of a relationship that was considered completely impossible just a few short years ago. (Read more)

3. IDF General’s Stark Warning: Put Victory First - or Risk Another October 7 - Israel National News
Brig. Gen. (res.) Erez Winner, chairman of the Israel Defense and Security Forum (IDSF) (The Bitchonistim), spoke with Arutz Sheva-Israel National News about the current state of the IDF and how Israel should address the threats posed by its surrounding enemies.
Winner recently said that while IDF soldiers have demonstrated exceptional bravery and commitment on the battlefield, the military’s official guiding principles must be reinforced. He stressed that his criticism was not directed at combat soldiers, whom he described as displaying “extremely high values," but rather at decisions made by senior IDF leadership regarding the army’s stated core values.
“The values that are missing are not in the troops in the field," Winner said. “What we have seen over the past two and a half years is extremely high values by every definition. What I am referring to is what comes from above." (Read more)

4. Coalition aims to pass raft of contentious bills in final week before Knesset dissolution - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s governing coalition is expected to rush multiple contentious bills through final Knesset readings and into law over the coming week, the last time legislation can be passed before parliament dissolves ahead of the legislative election in October.
Among the laws the coalition intends to pass is the quasi-constitutional Basic Law establishing Torah study as a “foundational value” of the Jewish people and the State of Israel. Haredi parties have pushed to pass the law as part of their ongoing push to ensure ultra-Orthodox men continue to receive blanket exemptions from IDF conscription.
The latest version of the law, approved in the Knesset House Committee on Thursday, no longer explicitly places Torah study on par with military service. But maverick Likud MK Dan Illouz argued that removing the key clause “does not change the essence of the law.” (Read more)

5. Israeli gov’t votes to extend nationwide emergency measures through July 28
- World Israel News
The Israeli government voted on Sunday to extend a “special emergency” for the entire country until late July due to the faltering ceasefire with Iran, Hebrew media reported.
The “Special Situation on the Home Front,” which the government voted to extend through July 28, authorizes the Israel Defense Forces’ Home Front Command to restrict public gatherings and civilian movement.
The resolution does not affect Israeli civilians directly but enables the IDF to quickly decide on new restrictions in light of developing threats posed by Tehran and its terrorist proxies in the region. (Read more)

Franklin Graham Honors the Life of 'Strong Fighter' Sen. Lindsey Graham
|
|
|
|
Reverend Franklin Graham honored Sen. Lindsey Graham’s (R-SC) life and service to the nation early Sunday morning in the hours immediately after his sudden death.
“I was surprised and saddened to learn that Senator Lindsey Graham passed away yesterday. He had just been to Ukraine and was scheduled to be interviewed on NBC Meet the Press this morning,” he wrote in a social media post.
“Only God knows the number of our days on this earth,” he continued:
Sen. Graham died late Saturday at the age of 71 due to a “brief and sudden illness,” his office announced Sunday, Breitbart News reported.
He served in the U.S. Senate for over two decades and won the Republican primary in June once President Donald Trump gave him his endorsement.
In a Truth Social post around 2:00 a.m., Trump wrote “Senator Lindsey Graham, one of the greatest people and Senators I have ever known, is dead! He was always working, and was a true American Patriot. Lindsey will be greatly missed!!! DETAILS AND ARRANGEMENTS TO FOLLOW. So sad!”
Breitbart News noted that “As one of those ‘leading the charge’ for the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act and a strong voice of support for the U.S.’s military actions against the Iranian regime, Graham was a close ally of Trump’s in 2026.”
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel had “lost one of its greatest friends” in the senator, according to Breitbart News.
“America has lost a great patriot. I have lost a beloved friend. Our hearts are with Lindsey’s family and with the American people at this difficult time. May his values and initiatives continue to guide us toward victory and peace, and may his memory forever be a blessing,” he stated.

Graham's Senate seat can be temporarily filled by a governor appointee
|
|
|
|
South Carolina will need a special primary election to fill the vacancy left by the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, who died on July 11.
Graham, the long-time Republican senator from South Carolina, died from a brief and sudden illness, according to his office. His seat in the U.S. Senate, which was up for election in November, is now vacant, and South Carolina law dictates how it should be filled.
Since Graham won the June 9 Republican primary for the Senate seat, there will need to be a special election to determine the Republican Party's nomination. In the meantime, the governor can fill the Senate position by appointing someone to the role. The governor's appointee will stay in the position until January 2027.
State law sets a timeline for a special election in case of a primary winner's death. Under the law, the candidate filing period should open on the second Tuesday after a nominee's death, which is July 21, and the filing period will last one week. The special election would then happen on Aug. 11, and a runoff if necessary would be on Aug. 25. (Greenville Online) Read more here

Lord God, we lift up the Governor of South Carolina, Republican Henry McMaster and his staff as they work to name a representative who will fill the seat, occupied for many years by Senator Lindsey Graham. May they be guided by Your wisdom as they make this critical decision for the citizens of their state, and for the United States Senate. Amen and amen.
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (James 1:5)

Every necessary resource: FBI joins probe into "shocking death" of Lindsey Graham
(Part One)
|
|
|
|
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is now making "every necessary resource available" to local authorities in connection with the shocking death of U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who died unexpectedly Saturday night at age 71 after returning from Ukraine.
FBI Director Kash Patel said Sunday on X: "The FBI is assisting local authorities and has made every necessary resource available."
Patel added that "Graham was a devoted public servant, a fierce defender of our nation, and a true patriot who dedicated his life to the people of South Carolina and the United States. Our prayers are with his family, loved ones, colleagues, and all those who knew him during this devastating time."
President Donald Trump led tributes Sunday to “one of the greatest people and Senators I have ever known,” describing Graham as a “true American Patriot” in a Truth Social post.
He later told NBC News’ “Meet the Press” that he spoke with Graham on Saturday night, hours before the senator died, adding that “other than being tired, he was fine.”
At the White House, flags were lowered to half-staff. In a later post on Truth Social, Trump ordered that all American flags must fly at half-staff until Saturday at 6 p.m.
Graham was chairman of the Senate Budget Committee and was seeking a fifth six-year Senate term in November. He was one of the most well-known members of the chamber and a key voice within the party on defense and foreign policy. EMS audio later indicated CPR was in progress.
Emergency personnel responded to a call for “cardiac arrest” at Graham’s Capitol Hill home on Saturday night, according to police scanner audio obtained by NBC News.
The senator’s office confirmed the 71-year-old senator died at home “after a brief and sudden illness.”
Photographs reviewed by NBC News show that paramedics carried a person on a stretcher from Graham’s home to an awaiting ambulance. Police cars and fire trucks were also on site.
A top staffer to Graham told NBC News early Sunday that there was no indication the lawmaker was feeling unwell prior to his death. He had been scheduled to appear on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” on Sunday. Graham was a frequent guest on the broadcast, appearing a total of 63 times over the years.
Graham’s office said Sunday that the preliminary cause of death was “aortic dissection due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease,” or a rupture of his aorta due to a hardening of his arteries. (World Net Daily) Read more here.

Lord, we pray for the family of Lindsey Graham, his friends and those who worked with him. He reportedly died from an “aortic rupture”, which could easily happen to any of us. We ask that You comfort whose who are grieving, according to Your Word, and help all who are left to carry the precious legacy of Senator Graham forward.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4)

Editor's note:
As intercessors who stand as watchmen on the wall, the last thing we want to do is to
promote any "conspiracy theories" that may be out there today, which would serve only
to stir up the already muddied waters surrounding the passing of Senator Lindsey Graham.
With this article and the one that will follow, we present these facts to you only for your own prayerful consideration.
Let's agree that GOD rules in the affiars of men, and that as we cry out to Him, He WILL
cause all hidden things to be revealed in this tragic case. (Mark 4:22) Amen.

Investigative journalist Laura Loomer, an aide to President Donald Trump, is among those asking serious questions about the possibility Graham was poisoned, as he had been targeted by Iran for assassination, along with Trump and herself.
Loomer said: "The IRGC publicly called for Senator Lindsey Graham to be assassinated. He was traveling abroad to a war zone the last few days to try to end the war between Ukraine and Russia.
"He's been home for less than one day, and tonight, his staff said he passed away from a 'brief and sudden illness.' Was he poisoned by a foreign adversary either abroad or upon returning to the US?
"There should be an investigation into his death. Especially after Iran called for his death less than one week ago. What do his staff mean by a 'brief and sudden illness'? Poison?"
Upon learning the FBI is now involved, Loomer stressed: "It's imperative that the FBI conducts their own toxicology report on Senator Graham. The DC crime lab is incompetent."
On July 6, as Iran was holding a funeral for its Ayatollah Khamenei killed by the U.S. in recent military action, signs were held by protesters with pictures of Graham, Trump and other hawkish Americans including Loomer and Ben Shapiro with targets on their faces and a message reading: "Sooner or later, your heads will roll."
Graham was proud of that image, saying on X: "At least they used a good photo of me. Judge me by my enemies."
Loomer continued: "Not too long ago, Tucker Carlson interviewed Putin Advisor Alexander Dugin @AGDugin who called for Senator Lindsey Graham to be assassinated. Dugin has since deleted the tweet.
"Just a few months ago, Tucker Carlson had blood splatter imagery of Lindsey Graham on his podcast to vilify him with the title, 'they're hijacking MAGA.'
"Oddly enough, around the same time this podcast aired, Dugin said the same thing about Graham while Russian state media called for the pro-Ukraine Senator to be assassinated.
"Last week, Iran and Russia called for Graham's assassination. One day after returning from Ukraine, he is now dead. Poison can cause someone to go into cardiac arrest. Was Lindsey Graham assassinated by Russia or Iran?"
"I hope people in MAGA open their eyes to see just how evil the Russian government really is. Something is terribly wrong and I suspect Lindsey Graham was murdered. None of this makes sense." (World Net Daily) Read more here.

Lord of Truth, we pray that any lies or hidden causes of Senator Graham’s death be revealed. An Aortic rupture can occur at any time when there is hardening of the arteries, but we ask that the FBI make certain there were no nefarious situations that caused it.

Hidden underground chamber revealed beneath home of legendary Roman emperor
|
|
|
Archaeologists recently unearthed a hidden chamber beneath an estate tied to one of ancient Rome's most famous emperors — and they say it could be the oldest known structure at the site.
The discovery, made at Hadrian's Villa in Tivoli, Italy, was recently announced by Pablo de Olavide University (UPO), a university in Seville, Spain.
The imperial villa was once home to Emperor Hadrian, who ruled Rome from 117 to 138 A.D.
The emperor is best known for building Hadrian's Wall in northern Britain and traveling throughout the Roman Empire during his reign.
The sprawling imperial complex is now preserved as a UNESCO-listed site that draws visitors — and archaeologists — from across the globe.
At the villa, archaeologists found an underground structure that dates back to the Roman Republic period, which spanned from 509 B.C. to 27 B.C. — centuries before Hadrian took power.
The abandoned structure, which officials believe may have been used as a silo or storage facility, was partially filled in with ancient construction debris and ceramic materials.
