Resolution Calling “Spiritually Inclined” Tennesseans To Month Of Prayer & Fasting Receives Long-Awaited Senate Vote
|

On the final day of the Tennessee 2025 legislative session, a resolution designating a time of prayer and fasting for the “physically able and spiritually inclined” to seek “God’s hand of mercy and healing on Tennessee” officially passed the state Senate by a 27-3 vote. House Joint Resolution 51 (HJR0051), sponsored by Rep. Monty Fritts (R-Kingston-District 32), designates July as a month of prayer and fasting to seek “God’s hand of mercy and healing on Tennessee” for those who are “spiritually inclined and physically able.” Under a similar resolution, Rep. Fritts traveled to all 95 Tennessee counties last summer to meet with Tennesseans as they participated in the commitment to prayer and fasting. HJR0051 passed by an 81-8 vote on the House floor in early March, but was reportedly “held hostage” in the Senate for unspecified reasons. In the House, lawmakers from both sides of the political isle acknowledged their “sins and shortcomings, both individually and as a people” and agreed to “humbly” ask for the Lord’s forgiveness by voting in favor HJR0051. However, when the resolution was finally taken up on the Senate floor during the last day of Tennessee’s 2025 legislative session, it passed along party lines. Zohran Mamdani’s DSA sponsors protest with ‘death, death to the IDF!’ war cry

WASHINGTON — Here on the corner of 16th Street NW and H Street NW, just steps from the White House, across Lafayette Park, a war cry rippled out among a swarm of demonstrators against Israel’s military, the Israel Defense Forces.
"Death, death to the IDF, the IDF, the IDF! Death, death to the IDF!" they chanted.
They denounced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was meeting with President Donald Trump, as a possible ceasefire between Israel and Hamas loomed.
Last week, British punk rapper Bobby Vylan shouted the incendiary slogan at the Glastonbury Festival, leading Secretary of State Marco Rubio to bar him from entering the U.S. Yet, his words have now crossed borders, absorbed into the militant propaganda of anti-Israel activists, including groups aligned with Hamas. The rallying cry has become the newest chant for a radical protest network spanning ideologies and continents. And despite demanding a ceasefire for months, their messaging on Monday night made one thing clear: they aren’t satisfied with a ceasefire. They want the end of the state of Israel.
According to new analysis from the Pearl Project, a nonprofit journalism initiative that is tracking the professional protest industry in a comprehensive public database, a coalition of 40 organizations – with combined annual revenues of $19.2 million – organized the "Noise Out" protests this week against Israel, with the call for "Death, death to the IDF."
In this network, 25 organizations — or about two of three — are self-described socialist, Marxist, Leninist, communist, or socialist-adjacent. Another 15 groups — or about one of three — are Muslim or Arab organizations.
It’s an intersectional convergence of extremist ideologies — Marxist, Islamist, and radical anti-Americanism — masquerading as "social justice." (Read more)

Trump’s visit brings hope and unity after deadly flood, Kerrville residents say
|

KERR COUNTY, TEXAS – Kerrville residents who lined roads on Friday to welcome President Donald Trump said his visit brought hope and comfort — and marked an important step in the town’s long road to healing and rebuilding.
The president and First Lady Melania Trump toured the area to assess the devastating damage and met with heartbroken victims’ families six days after a powerful flash flood killed at least 103 people and about 160 remain missing after the Guadalupe River surged more than 22 feet in just a matter of hours.
Some onlookers waited for hours in the baking Texas heat just to catch a glimpse of the president’s motorcade. A roadside portable message board displayed the searing temperature of 87 degrees Fahrenheit.
Locals told Fox News Digital that the president’s compassion in times of crisis has inspired them and that his presence brought national attention to the small, tight-knit town. Several also said his visit spotlighted the wave of local volunteerism, as neighbors have mobilized to help those who lost loved ones or everything they owned.
Aliz Tribes, who works at a rehabilitation hospital in Hunt, said Trump’s visit was a unifying moment.
"It’s very significant," said Tribes, who was still visibly shaken by last week’s tragedy. "Our country needs to pull together right now and not point fingers at who's right or wrong — but to come here and help us and rebuild our community."
"His presence here is very heartfelt. Everyone is pulling together and I have never seen anything like this," she added. "I just feel like he needed to see that we are behind him and we appreciate his support for our community."
Sarah Stewart said Trump’s presence symbolized strong leadership at a time when the country and community need unity. She said politics shouldn’t come into play during these times.
"We need good leadership at a time like this. That's important. And people want to rally around something that affects us all," Stewart said.
"The president is the leader of our whole country. He’s the leader for all Americans and it just goes to show even in small towns and small counties when tragedy strikes, he’s making sure that we get what we need." (Fox News) Read more here.

Prosecutors tied to Jan. 6 Capitol riot cases fired by Justice Department: reports

The Justice Department, under Attorney General Pam Bondi, has abruptly fired at least three federal prosecutors involved in cases stemming from the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, according to multiple reports.
Among those dismissed were two supervisory attorneys who oversaw Capitol riot prosecutions in the U.S. attorney’s office in Washington, D.C., and a line prosecutor directly involved in trying several related cases, according to the Associated Press, citing sources familiar with the matter. NBC News is also reported to have independently confirmed the firings.
The prosecutors received termination letters signed by Bondi. According to both outlets, the letters provided no specific reason for the removals, citing only "Article II of the United States Constitution and the laws of the United States." That phrase is often used in federal employment law to indicate the executive branch’s constitutional authority to appoint or remove personnel.
Fox News Digital contacted the Justice Department for confirmation and comment but did not immediately receive a response.
President Trump has repeatedly referred to the Jan. 6 defendants as political prisoners. On his first day back in the White House in January 2025, he pardoned or commuted the sentences of approximately 1,500 individuals who had been convicted or were incarcerated in connection with the Capitol attack.
The latest terminations follow a broader reshuffling of senior DOJ personnel.
In January, the department dismissed more than a dozen officials who had worked on Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigations into Trump. Then–Acting Attorney General James McHenry justified the removals by stating those individuals could not be trusted to "faithfully implement the president’s agenda."
During his time as interim U.S. attorney in Washington, Ed Martin also demoted several prosecutors in the Capitol Siege Section, including two attorneys who had helped secure seditious conspiracy convictions against Oath Keepers leader Stewart Rhodes and Proud Boys chairman Enrique Tarrio. At least 2 dead after flash flooding prompts New Jersey state of emergency

NEW YORK – Fierce storms that led to flash flooding across the Northeast and mid-Atlantic on Monday have turned deadly after heavy rainfall unleashed widespread chaos along the Interstate 95 corridor, submerging major cities, transforming streets into waterways and prompting New Jersey to declare a state of emergency.
Officials in Plainfield, New Jersey, confirmed Tuesday morning that at least two people were killed when their vehicle was swept into a raging brook during the height of the storm.
Some areas of the Garden State and portions of Pennsylvania were deluged with over 6 inches of rain in a short period as relentless downpours Monday night into Tuesday morning led to numerous stranded vehicles, impassable roads and multiple water rescues as emergency crews worked to assist those caught in the rising floodwaters.
New York City experienced its second-wettest hour on record (2.07 inches) and shattered a 117-year-old daily rain record on Monday, the FOX Forecast Center notes.
Washington, Baltimore, New York City and Hartford, Connecticut, were just a few of the major cities under Flash Flood Warnings. At one point, around 18 million Americans across the East were under a warning as 2 inches of rain was reported in just one hour in Hopewell, New Jersey, on Monday evening. (Fox News) Read more here.

1. IDF striking Syrian forces after regime move on Druze-majority city - JNS
The Israel Defense Forces were instructed on Tuesday to “immediately” protect the Druze minority in Syria by striking Syrian regime forces deployed to the Sweida area of the country’s south, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office said.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz told the IDF to “immediately strike regime forces and weaponry that were brought into the Sweida area of Syria’s Jabal al-Druze [Druze Mountain] region for regime activity against the Druze,” according to the statement.
Damascus had violated “the demilitarization policy that was decided upon, which prohibits the entry of [regime] forces and arms into southern Syria that could endanger Israel,” it continued.
“Israel is committed to preventing harm to the Druze in Syria due to the deep fraternal alliance with our Druze citizens in Israel, as well as their familial and historical ties to the Druze in Syria,” according to the PMO. (Read more)

2. 'Significant progress:' Netanyahu softens stance on IDF withdrawal - Israel National News
Significant progress was made this evening (Tuesday) towards reaching a hostage deal between Israel and Hamas, according to a report by Channel 13 News.
According to the report, based on sources involved in the negotiations in Qatar, "the path to an agreement has been cleared." The indirect talks between the parties have been ongoing for more than a week and a half in Doha, Qatar's capital, and in the last 24 hours, significant progress has been made following Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Cabinet's decision to approve additional flexibility regarding the IDF's withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
Israeli officials emphasized that this would only be a temporary withdrawal, lasting 60 days, after which fighting is expected to resume once the ceasefire ends. According to them, Netanyahu is not interested in an immediate end to the war. (Read more)

With a French-Saudi summit geared towards Palestinian statehood approaching, Haskel said that the gulf monarchy needed to “make a decision” on whether to support Palestinian statehood or normalize relations with Israel.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered the leaders of the haredi parties, Shas and United Torah Judaism, that he would fire Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee chairman Yuli Edelstein, as a compromise to hold together the coalition, a source confirmed to The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday.
This comes after Edelstein called on haredi politiciansto exhibit “national responsibility” and refrain from toppling the government over their insistence to exempt at least half of eligible haredi men from IDF service.

The complete leadership structure of the United Nations' anti-Israel investigation committee crumbled this week as all three commissioners stepped down, following closely behind the Trump administration's sanctions against a pro-Hamas UN official, according to Washington Free Beaconreporting.

On Friday, President Donald Trump flew down to Texas to visit locals and officials who have been impacted by the devastating flooding in the state, and he brought along his biggest morale booster: Melania. If you watched any of the coverage, you may have noticed that the first lady was a welcome sight to the communities whose lives have been turned upside down over the last couple of weeks.
But then again, that's always the case, isn't it? Despite what the legacy media claims, Mrs. Trump often accompanies her husband on these field trips to meet people whose lives have been touched by disasters, and also, despite what the legacy media claims, she's warm and caring and leaves her mark on everyone she meets. Earlier this year, she visited North Carolina and Southern California to support the locals impacted by hurricanes and fires, and I heard nothing but wonderful things about how kind and thoughtful she was. I think one of my favorite stories from that trip to California was how she was able to speak Slovenian with one of the families whose home was destroyed by the fires.

4. Sen. Paul to Reissue Criminal Referral of Fauci Over Autopen Use - Newsmax
Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., on Monday said he would reissue his criminal referral to the Department of Justice for Dr. Anthony Fauci after his pardon was confirmed to be issued by a late-night autopen.

5. DOJ to Reduce Foreign Languages in Government Services - Breitbart
The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced that it will be reducing the use of foreign languages in the government.
In a press release, the DOJ explained that it would be leading “a coordinated effort across federal agencies to minimize non-essential multilingual services.” As part of the coordinated effort, resources will be redirected to “English-language education and assimilation.” The policy follows President Donald Trump’s executive order making English the official language of the United States.
“As President Trump has made clear, English is the official language of the United States,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a statement. Bondi added that the DOJ would be leading “the effort to codify” Trump’s executive order and to “eliminate wasteful virtue-signaling policies across government agencies to promote assimilation over division.”

Omar Fateh, a self-proclaimed democratic socialist and the first Somali American and Muslim to serve in the Minnesota Senate, is running for mayor of Minneapolis on a platform of pro-illegal immigration, anti-police, and anti-Israel policies.
Fateh (D), who once accused Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) of white supremacy for opposing taxpayer-funded college for illegal aliens, is running for mayor of Minneapolis. He has advanced far-left legislation, including a proposal to provide free college tuition to households earning under $80,000 a year, regardless of their documentation status, which he defended as necessary to expand opportunities for “all Minnesotans.”
In a campaign video posted to X, Fateh unveiled a platform echoing New York-style socialism as he vowed to “protect our city from a hostile White House” and block local cooperation with federal immigration authorities. (Read more here)

They didn’t see America as a new Israel in the theological sense or a replacement of God’s people, but they recognized something sacred in the process of forming a nation under God. And whether they called it Providence, Liberty, or Natural Law, the roots ran deep into the soil of the Bible. In fact, the first five books of the Bible—the Torah—offer a striking blueprint that parallels the formation of the United States. We would do well to remember it and return to our ancient roots.
Genesis is the book of beginnings, where God makes a covenant with Abraham to establish a people with purpose. The American parallel? The Declaration of Independence and Constitution served as a covenant between the people and their government. Not a king ruling by bloodline or brute force, but a republic built on mutual agreement, trust in God, and inalienable rights. The Founders, like Abraham, weren’t just breaking away—they were stepping into a destiny. Exodus tells the story of deliverance from tyranny. Israel was enslaved in Egypt; America was politically and economically in bondage to the British Crown. Trump gathers CEOs for unprecedented faith, economy meeting to renew US 'spiritually and financially'

President Donald Trump will recognize CEOs and business leaders who donate their time to faith-based charitable works and encourage them to continue investing with the White House Faith Office during a luncheon at the White House on Monday.
The president and the White House Faith Office are expected to host the luncheon, which will include more than 60 CEOs and business leaders, in the State Dining Room.
Founder of Hobby Lobby David Greene, Chairman and CEO of Jockey International, Inc. Debra Waller, Quest Events founder Lee Dunlap, Aethon Energy founder Albert Huddleston, Shoppa’s Material Handling founder Jimmy Shoppa and others are expected to attend.
The president will be joined by Cabinet secretaries for the event, where he is expected to deliver remarks to thank the business leaders and encourage a continued partnership with the White House Faith Office.
White House Faith Office senior advisor Pastor Paula White, Faith Director Jenny Korn, National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler will attend the event and also deliver remarks.
The luncheon Monday is the first event of its kind, with White House Faith Office officials telling Fox News Digital that they have invited business leaders who work with faith-based charitable organizations "in a big way domestically and internationally."
The president, in his remarks, is expected to explain why the White House Faith Office is so important to his agenda. He will also encourage business leaders to help the Trump administration, specifically on programs concerning foster care and adoption, fatherhood initiatives, poverty alleviation, substance abuse and prisoner reentry.

- Father God, we thank You so much for a president who makes the concept of faith an integral part of his program to Make America Great Again. We thank You also for the White House Faith Office which then becomes a tangible resource to bless and transform our nation through the tenets and concepts within our faith that will bring health and welfare to our nation’s economy--thereby blessing families, individuals, businesses, and many institutions. As we are blessed, we can thank You, loving Father, and then go on to bless others around the world as You direct.
We ask for this Faith Committee to be made up of only those pastors and leaders who are chosen by You. While we are, and continue to be, a nation that was founded on the principle of freedom of religion, we ask that this organization be representative of our Judeo-Christian heritage and values described throughout the Constitution.
May the Faith Office move as one-united, as they seek to bring Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done within our nation. Father God, we ask that in the process, You would make the USA godly again!

ICE Faces Threats, Doxxing

A United States representative reportedly doxxed an ICE agent during a recent violent protest. ICE agents are facing increased threats, and incidents like these only add to the danger facing law enforcement.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has revealed that Rep. Salud Carbajal (D-CA) was “part of a violent mob of protestors attempting to obstruct federal law enforcement as they executed a criminal search warrant at a marijuana facility” and that he doxxed an ICE agent by handing the individual’s business card to members of the violent group.
According to ICE, the doxxed agent was also “left bloody” after the mob hurled rocks at agents who were doing their job.
The agents were reportedly conducting “criminal warrant operations” at marijuana farms in California. Representative Carbajal accused the agent of “using unnecessarily aggressive and militarized tactics,” but he neglected to mention the violence coming from the protestors. The Gateway Pundit notes in the above quote that protestors hurled rocks, and later in its article that one protestor fired a gun at law enforcement.
By doxxing an ICE agent, Representative Carbajal endangered the life of a law enforcement officer. However, he isn’t the only person targeting ICE.
Some intercessors may have seen mention of the app ICEBlock, available for free on iPhones. This app allows users to report local ICE sightings, effectively doxxing agents and helping illegal aliens evade capture. ICEBlock describes itself as a “community-driven app that allows you to share and discover location-based reports without revealing any personal data,” likely to avoid backlash. Undocumented Children Found Working at Newsom-Backed Cannabis Farm

Last week’s raids of two of the several Glass House Farms-owned marijuana farms in California led to the arrest of over 300 illegal aliens, including children. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem said on X, “[DHS] law enforcement rescued 14 children from potential forced labor, exploitation, and trafficking. They arrested 319 illegal aliens.” Of these children, ICE reported that at least nine of them were unaccompanied.
Among the arrested unlawful immigrants was a child predator, Roman Izquierdo, “who has been convicted of kidnapping, attempted rape and attempted child molestation” and was “previously deported” by ICE in 2006, as well as illegal alien Juan Duarte-Velasquez “who has been convicted of rape and a DUI.”
The four-hour raid began on Thursday, July 10, and led to violent exchanges between protestors and federal agents. Protestors were reportedly throwing rocks at federal agents and their vehicles, forcing agents to deploy tear gas to control the crowds. The FBI is also launching an investigation — with a 50,000-dollar reward — against an unknown man who was supposedly shooting agents from the crowd. Amidst the chaos, one worker died after attempting to scale a 30-foot greenhouse.
When asked about the protestors who interfered with ICE, border czar Tom Homan said “[Protestors] have been emboldened by even members of Congress who compare ICE to Nazis, racists, and terrorists. … If people want to complain about the job ICE is doing, go complain to Congress.” (Washington Stand) Read more here.

Largest deep-sea coral reef to date is mapped by scientists off the US Atlantic coast

WASHINGTON (AP) — Scientists have mapped the largest coral reef deep in the ocean, stretching hundreds of miles off the U.S. Atlantic coast.
While researchers have known since the 1960s that some coral were present off the Atlantic, the reef’s size remained a mystery until new underwater mapping technology made it possible to construct 3D images of the ocean floor.
The largest yet known deep coral reef “has been right under our noses, waiting to be discovered,” said Derek Sowers, an oceanographer at the nonprofit Ocean Exploration Trust.
Sowers and other scientists, including several at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, recently published maps of the reef in the journal Geomatics.
The reef extends for about 310 miles (499 kilometers) from Florida to South Carolina and at some points reaches 68 miles (109 kilometers) wide. The total area is nearly three times the size of Yellowstone National Park. Read More
