A Powerful Stand for Peace and Holocaust Remembrance
|
|
A historic moment of courage and reconciliation. A delegation of Muslim imams and community leaders from Europe visited Israel and Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial to honor the 6 million Jewish victims and send a clear message: Islam is not terrorism, and peace is possible. Led by Imam Hassan Chalgoumi and organized by ELNET, the group lit the eternal flame, recited Islamic prayers, and stood side by side with Jewish leaders. They also visited Israeli officials, survivors of the October 7 Hamas attacks, and victims’ families. Their message is bold: a call for brotherhood, justice, and an end to hate — even at great personal cost. (All Israel News) Watch Video here!
- Father, we REJOICE in unity for the blessings poured upon Jewish people as Muslim imans and European community leaders visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial. May this action toward honor and reconciliation send a message to the entire world for healing, justice and love to be extended to Israel and Jews across the nations. Abba, we declare in Yeshua's Name that this historic moment already fought in the heavenly realm, will bring miraculous change on earth as it is in heaven, and for the holy plans and purposes set by God. All GLORY to You, our King of kings and Lord of lords! Amen and Amen.
- "I will give in my house and within my walls a monument and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off." (Isaiah 56:5)

Rand Paul says we 'aren't going to know' the motive of Trump's would-be assassin
|
|
Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., said that we "aren’t going to know" the motive of President Donald Trump’s would-be assassin Thomas Crooks, after he released a scathing report slamming the Secret Service for multiple security failures at the fateful July 2024 Butler rally that nearly took Trump’s life.
"I think we aren’t going to know the motive, and I take that at face value. I know a lot of times when we don’t get something, and we suspect something. We think government’s lying to us, and look, I have my doubts about government on many levels, but I think at this level they’ve tried their best and I don’t think there’s a secret answer," Paul told CBS "Face the Nation" Host Margaret Brennan Sunday.
The Kentucky senator had authored the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs report, which detailed multiple security failures leading up to the Butler assassination attempt. Shockingly, the report found that the Secret Service "denied or left unfulfilled at least 10 requests" for additional security for Trump, including counter snipers. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord, we pray that these assassination attempts will be canceled in the name of Jesus and by the power of His Shed Blood. We pray that all the deception surrounding the Butler event would be exposed, and that the truth would be revealed in this event. Help us to realize and keep it in the forefront of our thinking that we are in a war not against flesh and blood, but against the evil powers of the spiritual realm. In Your Name, Holy One, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.
- “…stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:58)

Widow, daughter of man killed at Trump Butler rally tell all in new Fox Nation show
|
|
The assassination attempt on President Donald Trump at a Butler, Pennsylvania, rally last July claimed the life of one attendee — and altered the lives of his family forever.
The second part of "Butler: Under Fire," titled "The Search for Justice," is now streaming on Fox Nation amid the one-year anniversary of the shocking day that nearly claimed Trump's life.
Helen Comperatore's husband, Corey, was killed by gunfire from 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, and she spoke out alongside her daughter, Allyson, about the unimaginable tragedy during the special.
"It’s been extremely difficult," she said. "Sometimes I still feel like it's the day after, and sometimes I feel like it's been a year — it depends on the day."
Helen revealed her challenges of navigating life without her late husband, who was a volunteer firefighter and devout Christian. "Sometimes I pretend he went to work, and then he'll be home in the evening just to get by the day, but he doesn’t come home."
"I have pictures of him everywhere at home, in every room," she continued. "I carry his driver's license in my wallet. I wear his clothes."
Allyson shared her traumatic experience of having to tend to her father after he was hit by the gunfire at the Butler rally. She recalls being in shock after he crumpled to the ground as bullets rang out.
"I felt him on me," she said during the somber interview on "Butler: Under Fire." "I was confused for a minute, because I was like, ‘why does he feel so heavy?’ When I looked back, I saw him just laying on top of me, limp." (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord we plead the Blood of Jesus over all those who were victims of this tragedy. We pray that everyone grieving would feel your love, your peace and your joy that surpasses all knowledge and understanding. Move upon Your people, Lord, to help defend and take care of the widows, orphans, and those suffering today, to show Your love to them and that You care deeply for them. In Jesus' name, amen.
- “Thus says the Lord: “Do justice and righteousness, and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed. And do no wrong or violence to the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place.” (Jeremiah 22:3)

Trump says 'American spirit' triumphs over 'forces of evil' on anniversary of Butler assassination attempt
|
|
President Donald Trump on Sunday reflected on the one-year anniversary of the assassination attempt against him, saying he believes God alone saved him that day to "restore our beloved Republic to greatness and to rescue our Nation from those who seek its ruin."
Then-candidate Trump survived an assassination attempt during a campaign rally on July 13, 2024, in Butler, Pennsylvania. Trump suffered an injury to his ear after a bullet grazed him, while one person was killed and a pair of others were wounded.
A Secret Service sniper fatally shot the gunman, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who had climbed to the top of a nearby building.
"One year ago today, at 6:11 pm—eight minutes after taking the stage on the grounds of Butler Farms to address thousands of Americans gathered at a campaign rally—rifle fire broke out, and an assassin’s bullet came within a quarter inch of ending my life and silencing our movement to restore American greatness," Trump said in a statement on Sunday.
"Yet, by the hand of providence and the grace of Almighty God, my life was spared," he continued. "As we commemorate one year since the harrowing events of July 13, 2024, we reaffirm that the American spirit has and will always triumph over forces of evil and destruction."
The president commended those who rushed to help the victims at the rally, including first responders and ordinary rally attendees who, he said, "left as heroes."
"Those who carry scars from that July evening defended our Republic during one of our nation’s darkest hours—running to the injured amid chaos and uncertainty to provide comfort and lifesaving care," Trump said.
He added that doctors and first responders rushed to help the wounded, while rallygoers guided their fellow citizens to safety and "patriots raised their fists in the air in an outpouring of support and national pride."
"These men and women arrived at the rally grounds as ordinary Americans, but left as heroes," Trump said. "They represent the very best of our nation, and we are forever indebted for their kindness and compassion." (Fox News) Read more here.

Gunman kills 2, wounds 2 at Lexington church after shooting Kentucky state trooper
|
|
A suspect went on a shooting rampage in Kentucky on Sunday, injuring a state trooper before moving to a church and shooting four people, leaving two dead.
Lexington Police Department Chief Lawrence Weathers said the spree started just before noon when a state trooper pulled the suspect over for a license plate reader alert. The suspect opened fire, injuring the trooper. It happened on Terminal Drive just outside Blue Grass Airport, but was unrelated to the airport.
"There were some people en route to the airport, and they got out and assisted the trooper," Weathers said. "I appreciate them for getting out and doing what they did."
The trooper was in stable condition and receiving medical treatment, police said.
After shooting the trooper, the suspect took off and carjacked a vehicle, Weathers said. No one was hurt in the carjacking.
Police then utilized the department’s Air Support Unit and Real-Time Intelligence Center to track the suspect to Richmond Road Baptist Church in Lexington.
The gunman opened fire on church property, killing two women and wounding two men. The two women fatally shot were identified by authorities as Beverly Gumm, 72, and Christina Combs, 32. One man was said to be in critical condition, while the other was in stable condition. (Fox News) Read more here.

Update: Monday afternoon
Police in Kentucky are searching for a motive after a gunman shot and killed two women at a church on Sunday, also injuring a state trooper.
Guy House, the suspect, is accused of killing two women and injuring two men at the Richmond Road Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky, according to Lexington Police Chief Lawrence Weathers. Police killed the suspect, Weathers said.
Officials said the suspect opened fire at a state trooper after he was pulled over near the Blue Grass Airport around 11:30 a.m. The police officer is expected to survive. The suspect was pulled over after the state trooper's license plate reader showed an alert.
"There were some people en route to the airport, and they got out and assisted the trooper," Weathers said. "I appreciate them for getting out and doing what they did."
Governor Andy Beshear addressed the shooting on X, asking for prayers. "Please pray for everyone affected by these senseless acts of violence, and let’s give thanks for the swift response by the Lexington Police Department and Kentucky State Police," Beshear wrote. (Fox News) Read more here.

An interim security deal with Syria is in reach but there is still a long way to go to normalization, Benny Gantz, a past member of Israel’s War Cabinet and a former Israel Defense Forces chief of staff, told JNS on Monday.
“I think that we can achieve some kind of temporary agreements with Syria based on security issues,” Gantz, who leads the opposition Blue and White Party, told JNS during a faction meeting at the Knesset.
After a security deal, “We can drill down the road and hopefully come to a better situation with them, including normalization,” said Gantz, speaking in English. “But that’s, I think, still [far] away from us.” (Read more)

The leader of the Palestinian Authority called on the Hamas terror organization over the weekend to surrender its weapons and return the remaining 50 hostages held in the Gaza Strip to Israel.

1. Netanyahu attends memorial for two murdered embassy staffers in Washington - JNS.org
Hours after meeting with relatives of hostages held in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tried to comfort two families that had already buried their children—the two victims of the antisemitic terror attack at the Capital Jewish Museum.
Netanyahu spoke during a memorial for Sarah Milgrim, 26, and Yaron Lischinsky, 30, held at the Israeli embassy in Washington, D.C. The two were scheduled to get engaged the week after the gunman, who said “free Palestine” after he was arrested, shot them as they left an event for young Jewish professionals. Relatives of both of the embassy staffers attended the memorial, both in person and virtually.
Netanyahu told attendees that the two were “beautiful in life, united in death.”
“The tragedy was so evocative,” he said. “It hit the chords of the hearts of millions, Jews and non-Jews alike. President Trump talked to me and he said, ‘What a beautiful couple. What a great tragedy.’” (Read more)

2. Trump pledges to sell US arms to Ukraine via NATO as Europe prepares to step up - POLITICO
Trump told NBC News late Thursday that: “We’re sending weapons to NATO, and NATO is paying for those weapons, a hundred percent. We’re going to be sending Patriots to NATO, and then NATO will distribute that,” he added.
Across Europe, there’s a feeling of whiplash over the Trump administration’s recent Ukraine policy reversals plus confusion about who is making decisions at the Pentagon, while Kyiv worries that the aid package passed under the previous administration could soon run out, and the Republican-dominated U.S. Congress shows no sign of approving a new one.
“We discussed with our partners the possibility of purchasing the necessary weapons packages in Europe and primarily in the U.S.,” Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Thursday. “We’re talking about air defense systems, ammunition, and so on.”
Though Trump’s commitment to Ukraine has been uncertain since his return to office, he has in recent months voiced frustration with Russian President Vladimir Putin and his refusal to end the war.
In his NBC interview, Trump again expressed disappointment in Russia and said he would make “a major statement” Monday — though the contents of that are unknown for now. (Read more)

3. Religious rights group urges EU to combat anti-Christian hate after attacks, murders - Christian Post
A religious rights group in Spain is calling on the president of the European Commission to create a Special Coordinator to combat hate crimes against Christians.
The Observatory for Religious Freedom in Spain on Wednesday urged Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, to create a position equivalent to existing specialists to combat antisemitism and Islamophobia in the European Union.
“It is imperative that the European Commission act with the same commitment it shows in the fight against other forms of religious hatred,” OLRC President María García said in a press statement.
Anti-Christian attacks are prevalent, she said, as the Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination Against Christians in Europe (OIDAC Europe) documented 2,444 hate crimes against Christians in 35 European countries in its “Intolerance and Discrimination Against Christians in Europe Report 2024” report. The report includes 232 personal attacks such as “harassment, threats and physical violence.”
Asserting that anti-Christian hostilities were growing, the OLRC cited recent “serious attacks” on the religious freedom of Christians in both France and Germany. “In recent weeks, there have been alarming episodes, such as the bursting in of a man shouting [the jihadist slogan] ‘Allahu Akbar’ on the altar of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Paris, the arson attack on a church in Bavaria, or the attack on a sacristan in Rodgau (Germany), using a cross as a weapon,” stated the OLRC. 4. State Department lays off 1,300 staffers under Trump plan - AP
The U.S. State Department fired more than 1,300 employees Friday in line with a dramatic reorganization plan from the Trump administration that critics say will damage America’s global leadership and efforts to counter threats abroad.
The department sent layoff notices to 1,107 civil servants and 246 foreign service officers with assignments in the United States, according to a senior department official who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss personnel matters.
Notices said positions were being “abolished” and the employees would lose access to State Department headquarters in Washington and their email and shared drives by 5 p.m., according to a copy obtained by The Associated Press.
As fired employees packed their belongings, dozens of former colleagues, ambassadors, members of Congress and others spent a warm, humid day protesting outside. Holding signs saying, “Thank you to America’s diplomats” and “We all deserve better,” they mourned the institutional loss from the cuts and highlighted the personal sacrifice of serving in the foreign service. 5. US border czar says he doesn’t know fate of eight men deported to South Sudan - The Guardian
Tom Homan, the US border czar, has said he does not know what happened to the eight men deported to South Sudan after the Trump administration resumed sending migrants to countries that are not their place of origin, known as third countries.
“They’re free as far as we’re concerned. They’re free, they’re no longer in our custody, they’re in Sudan,” Homan told Politico on Friday. “Will they stay in Sudan? I don’t know.”
Administration officials said the men had been convicted of violent crimes in the US. Only one of the eight reportedly has a connection to South Sudan, which recently emerged from a civil war. The others include two people from Myanmar, two from Cuba, and one each from Vietnam, Laos and Mexico.
South Sudanese authorities said on Tuesday the men were in custody in Juba “under the care of the relevant authorities, who are screening them and ensuring their safety and wellbeing”.
The men were initially deported in May, but were held on a military base in Djibouti for weeks after a US court stopped their removal.
They were then transported to South Sudan after two US supreme court decisions: one that broadly allowed for the administration to deport migrants to third countries to which they have no connection, and a second that weighed in directly on the case of the eight men. (Read more)

- Lord, we continue to pray over these deportations. Thank You for Your protection over our nation and our people. We thank You, too, that those who are committing violent crimes will be punished.

And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God." (Micah 6:8)

No, the Hardest Word
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, July 14, 2025
The story of Balaam and Balak in Numbers 22–25 is one of the most ironic and haunting narratives in the Torah. It’s filled with drama, satire, and sobering lessons about obedience, temptation, and the cost of compromise. At the center of it all is one simple but difficult word: No. Balak, the king of Moab, was terrified of the advancing Israelites. Instead of preparing for war, he hatched a spiritual scheme—hire the infamous prophet Balaam to curse God’s people. Balaam had a reputation. He wasn’t a fraud; he had legitimate spiritual insight. But he also had a greedy, self-serving heart, and that would be his undoing.
When Balak’s messengers arrive with their offer, Balaam does something that sounds spiritual—he seeks the LORD. And the LORD gives a clear, unmistakable answer: “You are not to go with them. You are not to curse the people because they are blessed” (Numbers 22:12). End of discussion, right? Not for Balaam. When a higher offer comes, he dares to ask God a second time—as if maybe God hadn’t thought it through the first time. The LORD gives him conditional permission but sends an angel to oppose him. Balaam is blind to the spiritual reality until his donkey—yes, his donkey—starts prophesying better than he can. The entire scene would be comical if it weren’t so tragic. The prophet of nations can’t see the angel, but the beast of burden can. Read More

Military jet's mysterious collision raises questions about advanced UFOs in US airspace: 'Been here all along'
|
|
|
Declassified documents revealing a United States military aircraft was previously struck by an unknown flying object is raising eyebrows as experts point to other unexplainable sightings suggesting otherworldly technology flying within the country’s airspace.
The incident occurred in January 2023, after an unidentified object collided with the left side of an F-16 Viper jet participating in training exercises near Gila Benda, Arizona, an Air Force spokesperson confirmed to Fox News Digital.
The flying object struck the clear "canopy" at the top of the aircraft and was first spotted by an instructor pilot sitting in the rear of the plane, officials said. An initial investigation determined no damage was done to the near $70 million jet, with officials ruling against a possible bird strike.
Authorities ultimately determined the aircraft was struck by a drone, but the location and operator of the device have yet to be determined, the spokesperson said.
The incident was the first of four encounters with unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) that were reported a day later, according to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) documents obtained by the War Zone.
"According to military personnel I’ve personally met with, there were objects 200 miles off the East Coast that were extensively loitering and had no visible means of propulsion," James Fox, a director specializing in films about UFO activity, told Fox News Digital. "So a report from 2023 about an actual impact with a UAP doesn’t really surprise me."
The sightings of UAPs near military sites are nothing new, according to Fox.
"There are reports dating back to the 1930s and 1940s," Fox said. "Where you had mysterious, glowing, and orb-like objects that emitted very bright light that could just fly rings around the military planes from World War II."
Fox pointed to the sheer advanced technology showcased within these sightings, such as aircraft that do not emit a heat signature or have the ability to fly stationary in high wind conditions.
"This has been well-documented for decades," Fox said. "So either we’ve managed to track the same thing it’s been, [possibly] non-human intelligence, since the 1940s. Or someone has managed to replicate the technology, reverse engineer it and they’re flying it around." (Fox News) Read more here.

President Trump and Sen. Dave McCormick to visit CMU for Pennsylvania Energy and Innovation Summit
|
|
|
President Trump and the world's top leaders in energy and AI will be in Pittsburgh this week, where they are set to meet at Carnegie Mellon University.
The president will be here on Tuesday for the event, which will focus on energy and innovation, highlighting Pennsylvania's potential to lead the AI revolution.
However, his visit will not be without pushback, as on CMU's campus, signs painted with the words "protest the summit" could be seen.
Those words were seen on the CMU Fence, and on social media, the fence was painted that way to "call on students and the Pittsburgh community to stand against fossil fuels, AI for surveillance, and authoritarianism."
During the visit, President Trump will be joined by Pennsylvania Senator Dave McCormick, who is hosting the inaugural Pennsylvania Energy and Innovation Summit. It looks to bring together the top leaders in the energy, AI, global investment, labor, and trade sectors, and government officials.
Senator McCormick said the goal is to harness the state's natural resources and workforce to jumpstart the economy and support national security, while aligning with President Trump's energy agenda. (CBS News) Read more here.

Debate sparked after Hopewell police post letter regarding 'suspicious activity'
HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
Police in Hopewell Township have issued a letter alerting the community of three incidents they are calling suspicious. The letter has now sparked concern and debate in the community.
A letter posted on social media by Hopewell Township Police said that there have been three incidents reported "regarding suspicious activities involving men that appear to be, or were reported as, Middle Eastern or of Hispanic ethnicity."
The department said the incidents have been reported in the Beaver County area within the last eight days, saying they've occurred at the following three churches: New Bethlehem Church in Independence Township, Genesis Church in Hopewell, and Ridge Point Church in Brighton Township.
Officials said a report from Ridge Point Church stated that a "Middle Eastern man" who claimed he was from Israel and was looking for a new mosque left an electric bike battery on one of the pews of the church.
At New Bethlehem, "four men wearing hijabs" were said to have been seen inside a vehicle in the church's parking lot, appearing to look at their cellphones.
In Hopewell, the post by police read, a "Middle Eastern/Hispanic male was caught off guard in the parking lot by a member who left early, sat in his car for five minutes, then left" in a vehicle bearing an Ohio license plate.
Multiple comments on the post from the department have since created a mixture of reactions and concerns over safety. (WTAE/ABC News; Pittsburgh, PA)

NASA has switched on the alarm again: the Iliamna volcano, in Alaska is about to erupt. Wait what? Yes. But keep calm. It’s been inactive for over 100 years! That’s exactly what they’ve seen through satellite imagery, that Iliamna is on the verge of an eruption… and it’s imminent!
We already knew there had been some seismic activity, but no one expected this volcano to return to the top of the watchlist for the moment. The most recent image, taken by the Landsat 8 satellite, shows how the glacier covering its summit could be at risk due to underlying magma activity.
What is Iliamna?
Iliamna is a volcano (considered active) located within Kenai Fjords National Park, about 210 km southwest of Anchorage. It’s roughly 10,016 feet tall, and its summit is covered by a massive glacier. And no, there haven’t been any confirmed eruptions since 1876… Looks like we’re the ones who’ll get to live through all the historic moments…
What’s happening at the volcano?
Iliamna has been off since the 19th century, more than 100 years… till now! Because that doesn’t mean it was inactive… Since June 10, 2025, the Operational Land Imager (OLI) has captured lots of images revealing changes to the glacier surface. On June 15, the Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) detected an increase in seismic activity, with nearly constant tremors. Is an eruption coming? Read More

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
