Trump: SAVE America Act ‘Even More Important’ After Supreme Court Mail-In Ballot Ruling

President Donald Trump explained that passing the SAVE America Act is “even more important” after the Supreme Court ruled that states that have laws allowing mail-in ballots to be counted after election day are not violating federal law.
After the president signed executive orders, Townhall reporter Cameron Arcand asked him what he thought about the Supreme Court’s ruling, and “what comes next for the SAVE Act.” Trump described the ruling as “detrimental to honest elections,” and also stated it “gives people more time to vote illegally.”
“Mr. President, what do you make of the Supreme Court ruling today, in regards to the mail-in ballots, and what comes next for the SAVE Act after today’s ruling?” Arcand asked.
“Because of the mail-in ballot ruling — which was a little bit surprising, gives people more time to vote illegally — the SAVE Act is even more important. …You have to be a citizen of our country, okay, you have to show you’re a citizen of our country, called citizenship.” Trump answered. “Voter ID by photo, photo voter ID, and no mail-in ballots — unless you’re in the military, disabled, you’re ill, or you’re away even on a vacation, we’re being very open about it. It’s pretty easy, and we’ll have honest elections.”
“The ruling, which a lot of people were waiting for, that was a ruling that was — I think it was very detrimental to honest elections,” Trump continued. “But it is what it is.”
Breitbart News’s John Binder reported that the Supreme Court “issued a 5-4 ruling that permits states to count mail-in ballots — sent on or before election day.”
Trump’s comment about how the SAVE America Act is even more important in light of the Supreme Court’s ruling comes several days after he stated he was canceling a signing ceremony for the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act until the Senate passes the SAVE America Act. (Breitbart) Read more here

Report — Follow the Money: DOJ Probes China-Based Billionaire Neville Roy Singham’s Funding of U.S. Leftists

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating China-based left-wing billionaire Neville Roy Singham regarding alleged financial crimes, Fox News reported Monday.
In 2024, Breitbart News senior contributor and president of the Government Accountability Institute, Peter Schweizer, revealed in his book Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans, that Singham and Alibaba co-founder Joseph Tsai, helped radical groups using transgenderism against the “capitalist order.”
Indeed, the Fox article noted Singham’s deep pockets have funded socialist, communist, and Marxist groups across the United States:
Sources told Fox investigators were looking into the shifting of money within the leftist’s network, and trying to determine if wire fraud, bank fraud, or money laundering was committed.
Breitbart News in March 2024 noted that Singham had significant ties to communist China and was allegedly associated with its propaganda arm.
“The billionaire, Neville Roy Singham, has in turn poured more than $100 million into radical leftist groups in the U.S., such as CODEPINK (which was co-founded by Singham’s wife, Jodie Evans) and the People’s Forum — whose co-executives are PSL members, Schweizer writes,” the outlet said.
Fox highlighted its own lengthy investigative report and said it discovered a clip of a speech Singham gave where he supported a “new world order” and called the United States a “fascist” nation.
“The series revealed a 172-page report in which Singham outlined his theory of change, invoking 20th century Chinese communist leader Mao Zedong’s battle plan to wage a ‘people’s war’ to spread communism. Enemies Within: The Threat of Communism to America

Less than five years after the end of the Second World War, as the communist Soviet Union rapidly consolidated its control over much of central and Eastern Europe, Senator Joseph McCarthy (R-Wis.) introduced a shocking claim: Anywhere from 50 to more than 200 communist agents were working in the U.S. government, covertly advancing the agenda of international communism and subverting American culture and society.
“The State Department is infested with communists,” McCarthy is reported to have said, speaking at a Republican fundraising event in February of 1950. The senator produced a piece of paper which he said contained the names of known communists in the employ of then-president Harry Truman’s State Department. There is no audio or video recording of the speech and there is some dispute over whether McCarthy alleged that there 57 communists in the State Department or 205; many of those present reported that McCarthy said “205,” although others report that he said “57,” which is the number McCarthy cited both in communications to Truman and in the congressional record.
McCarthy’s allegation came at a time when communism was broadly recognized as a threat to the U.S. Klaus Fuchs, a German scientist working for the Manhattan Project, had recently confessed to being a Soviet agent and providing predatory Soviet secret police chief Lavrentiy Beria, who was managing the Soviet atomic project, with information regarding the American creation of the atomic bomb. The Soviet Union conducted its first nuclear weapons test in 1949 and rapidly began assembling even more destructive hydrogen bombs, sparking an arms race between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. Manhattan Project architect J. Robert Oppenheimer was also later accused of communist sympathies, related to his affiliation with left-wing and communist front organizations in the 1930s and his sexual relationship with Communist Party USA (CPUSA) member Jean Tatlock.
The year before the Soviet Union developed nuclear weapons, U.S. State Department official Alger Hiss, who was intimately involved in the founding of the United Nations and served as a top advisor to Truman’s Secretary of State Dean Acheson, was accused of being a Soviet agent by former communist Whittaker Chambers, among others. The statute of limitations for bringing espionage charges against Hiss had already expired, but the spy was convicted of perjury relating to his espionage work. Shockingly, Hiss was defended by a number of high-profile government officials, including future Democratic presidential candidate Adlai Stevenson and former Democratic presidential candidate John W. Davis, in addition to Truman and Acheson. Following the Hiss conviction, Acheson is reported to have stated, “I do not intend to turn my back on Alger Hiss.” McCarthy delivered his speech two weeks later. Netanyahu: Israel takes Erdoğan’s threats ‘very seriously’

Israel takes Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s repeated statements against the Jewish state “very seriously,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Sunday.
“Hardly a day goes by without Erdoğan calling for the destruction of the State of Israel,” Netanyahu said. “We take these words very seriously, because if we have learned one thing from the history of our people, it is that when someone says he intends to destroy you, take him seriously.”
He added that Israel would raise the issue with Washington. “We are not ignoring this,” the prime minister said.
Erdoğan said on Saturday that “genocidal, occupying, expansionist” Zionism poses an existential threat to Turkey, continuing a pattern of harsh rhetoric since the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas-led attacks and the ensuing Gaza war.
Israel’s Foreign Ministry rebuked Erdoğan, calling him a “dictator” who persecutes political opponents, imprisons journalists and backs jihadist groups. “Erdoğan will pass. Israel will remain forever,” the ministry said on X.
Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism Minister Amichai Chikli also reacted, writing on Saturday night that Erdoğan is a “deranged antisemitic dictator” whose “Nazi-tinged speech reveals the truth: terror supporter, Kurd murderer, and tyrant.”
Meanwhile, Likud Knesset member Amit Halevi called on Sunday for the immediate closure of Turkey’s consulate in Jerusalem and diplomatic sanctions against Ankara. Speaking outside the mission, Halevi warned that it was “functioning as a de facto embassy for a hostile, Hamas-run entity,” citing findings by the Katz Jerusalem Center for Applied Policy (JCAP) on Turkish activity in the capital.
Ties between Israel and Turkey have deteriorated sharply during the war, with Ankara maintaining contacts with Hamas and suspending trade ties, though stopping short of a full diplomatic break. (JNS.org) Read more here.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in an interview Tuesday night, claimed that he saved Israel from an Iranian nuclear bomb that they “already had obtained,” a claim that his election rivals dismissed as a falsehood told to scare the Israeli public.
The statement, which Netanyahu made during his appearance on the right-wing Channel 14, was the first time that the premier had ever claimed that Iran had already obtained a nuclear weapon. He has long boasted of advancing policies that prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.
He did not elaborate on his claim in the interview and was not pressed to explain the statement.
Netanyahu apparently either got carried away in highlighting the threat from Iran and his steps against the regime or simply misspoke, given that a source familiar with the matter told Haaretz that Netanyahu’s claim is a “complete lie.” (Read more)

Amir Baram told the Herzliya Conference at Reichman University that the war has raised the cost of Iran's military buildup for every regional actor. Baram warned that emerging global agreements could funnel hundreds of billions of dollars into Iran and "dramatically accelerate its military buildup," saying Israel must respond with tailored force preparation and a new regional architecture, primarily alongside the US.
He emphasized the need to forge a broader alliance, “from India through the UAE to Greece and Cyprus,” to enable a new security-economy front, though expanding strategic partnerships. The Knesset plenum passed, in a preliminary reading, a bill that seeks to restrict the noise levels of mosque loudspeaker systems in the country, on Wednesday, by requiring permits for their operation and imposing fines for noise violations
The “muezzin bill,” which calls to address “unreasonable noise,” passed with 50 lawmakers in favor and 36 against. It will now be brought to a Knesset committee for advancement and still requires three more readings to come into effect. Critics of the bill argue it would restrict religious practice for Muslims.

1. Airman missing following crash of U.S. helicopter in Arabian Sea - DML News
A US Navy airman is missing after an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter went down in the Arabian Sea on Wednesday.
The Sea Hawk, assigned with the USS George HW Bush aircraft carrier, was forced to conduct an emergency landing at around 3:30 a.m., the US 5th Fleet said in a statement.
“There is no indication the emergency was caused by hostile action,” officials wrote on X. “Three of the helicopter’s four crew members have been recovered and are in stable condition aboard George H. W. Bush,” the 5th Fleet added.

A quiet Brooklyn storefront served as a key part of a $1 billion Medicare fraud scheme led by the Russian mob, a federal indictment charges — and could even have been backed by the Kremlin.
The scheme was so brazen, one medical supply company linked to the outfit submitted bills totaling over $250 million for urinary catheters in 2023 alone, according to the feds.
The number was so large it amounted to $50 million more than the combined spend of every other medical provider in the country on catheters that year.

President Donald Trump announced in a Truth Social post Tuesday night that the Republican Party will be holding their first-ever midterm national convention. The huge event will be held in Dallas on Sept. 9 and 10 at the American Airlines Center, which has a seating capacity of about 18,500.
The convention will be aimed at helping Republicans retain control of the House and Senate in November’s midterm elections, and will also put a spotlight on the heated Senate race in Texas, between Republican Ken Paxton and radical Democrat James Talarico.

Newly released documents by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard add another layer to a story that keeps getting deeper. The documents also allege that Fauci influenced intelligence assessments regarding the origins of COVID and denied knowledge of certain discussions while under oath before Congress. Intelligence agencies also received complaints alleging Fauci misled Congress about gain-of-function research, yet those complaints were diverted rather than aggressively investigated. NASA: Venezuela Earthquakes Damaged or Destroyed Nearly 60,000 Buildings

A rapid satellite imagery assessment released by NASA this week indicated that roughly 58,870 buildings in Venezuela were likely damaged or destroyed by last week’s devastating earthquakes.
The shocking assessment comes as international teams from the United States and other nations continue the search for survivors trapped in the rubble of collapsed buildings and other structures. Venezuela was struck by two earthquakes on Wednesday evening, one magnitude 7.2 and a magnitude 7.5 mere seconds later. The dual earthquakes caused widespread devastation in the northern coastal state of La Guaira and significant damage in the nearby capital city of Caracas and other states.
At press time, the Venezuelan socialist regime has documented at least 1,719 deaths, over 5,000 injured, and at least 15,000 individuals whose homes were affected by the earthquakes. United Nations officials estimate that some 50,000 people are still missing.
NASA, using imagery taken by the European Space Agency (ESA)’s Sentinel-1 satellite radar, published its first rapid experimental assessment of the building damage caused by the earthquakes. The assessment was conducted by Corey Scher and Jamon Van Den Hoek, who are both researchers at the University of Oregon.
Per the satellites most recent pass, dated 25 June 2026 (10:16 UTC), approximately 58,870 buildings are believed to have been damaged or destroyed in Venezuela. NASA explained that it considers a building as damaged when at least 50 percent of its footprint area “falls on the coherence-loss damage map.”
“Building footprints are from Overture Maps. The damage threshold is not chosen by eye — it is calibrated against the USGS ShakeMap shaking field so that the false-alarm rate stays at or below 1 percent in lightly-shaken areas, where little or no structural damage is expected,” NASA explained in its assessment. “Damage detections concentrate where shaking was strongest (the central coast and the populated Caracas corridor), consistent with the earthquake’s intensity pattern."
The Spanish newspaper ABC reported that the “Hugo Chávez housing complex” in Caraballeda, La Guaira, almost completely collapsed during the earthquake. Of the total 193 buildings, only three reportedly survived, and the rest completely collapsed. According to ABC, about 7,000 individuals resided in the housing complex.
On Monday, the State Department announced that it has increased its financial assistance funding to Venezuela from $150 million to $300 million. The U.S. humanitarian funding has been directed to a range of non-governmental partners with “proven capacity” to deliver assistance in a quick and efficient manner. The State Department is also working with private partners to urgently deliver relief supplies to Venezuelan communities.
In addition to the United States, other countries such as El Salvador, Mexico, Israel, Italy, and Spain have sent rescue delegations, humanitarian aid, and other resources to help find survivors and attend to victims of the earthquake. The Socialist Who Just Won DC's Democratic Primary
Janeese Lewis George won Washington DC's Democratic mayoral primary earlier this month, beating six opponents to succeed outgoing Mayor Muriel Bowser.
She is a self-described democratic socialist endorsed by Black Lives Matter, the Working Families Party, and the Metro DC Democratic Socialists of America.
Her platform reads like a wishlist for everyone who wants American cities to burn.
Trump laid it out on Truth Social Sunday.
"Janeese Lewis George, the Communist who is almost certainly going to be elected Mayor of Washington, D.C., has stated that she wants to empty the prisons, make D.C. a Sanctuary City, oppose ICE, welcome Criminal Illegal Aliens back into our beloved Capital, resist Anti-Crime Crackdowns, Defund the Police, continue and expand Cashless Bail, and so many other Capital destroying 'things,'" he wrote.
Then he drew the line: "We will not let it be destroyed by a Communist adherent who has no intention to, MAKE WASHINGTON GREAT AGAIN!"
What Trump Built That George Wants to Tear Down
After the Coristine attack, Trump invoked Section 740 of the DC Home Rule Act to place the Metropolitan Police Department under direct federal control. He deployed more than 1,000 National Guard members alongside federal officers – and crime collapsed. Property crimes fell roughly 19 percent in the first week of federal control. Violent crime dipped 17 percent.
Carjackings – which had hit 607 cases through August of 2023 – fell to just 10 cases in August 2025.
By the end of the year, overall violent crime in DC was down 29 percent.
Trump spent $14 million resurfacing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
He diverted $90 million in national park fees into DC beautification projects.
Bowser – a Democrat – cooperated with the administration throughout, signed orders authorizing joint city-federal law enforcement operations, and drew bipartisan credit for the results.
George has made clear she plans to scrap all of it.
She has introduced legislation to end DC police cooperation with ICE and called the city's autonomy "nonnegotiable" – while making plain that working alongside the federal government on immigration enforcement is off the table entirely.
In other words: she will side with illegal aliens over every DC resident who wants to walk to their car without getting beaten on the street.

Trump Holds Every Card
George is walking into a confrontation she cannot win on paper.
Congress can review and repeal DC's laws and budget.
The president can invoke the Home Rule Act to seize temporary control of the police.
Federal funding flows into Washington that the administration can redirect or cut off.
Congress demonstrated exactly that in 2023 – with a Democrat president in the White House – invoking its review authority for the first time since 1991 to strike down a DC sentencing bill that would have softened penalties for violent offenders.
That is what DC's so-called autonomy actually looks like when Congress decides to use the power it has always held.
Trump has made his position clear: "Many people, including myself, have worked long and hard to get it there, and we will not let it be destroyed…"
George can call that interference.
She can call it a threat to home rule.

Mitch McConnell Was Found Unconscious at Home by Paramedics
Before Being Hospitalized in Most Recent Health Scare

A new report says Kentucky Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell was unconscious when first responders were dispatched to his Washington, D.C., home on June 14.
“This emergency dispatch recording was obtained from Washington, D.C. Fire and EMS dispatch and captures the call on June 14, 2026 at 8:36 a.m. requesting an Advanced Life Support (ALS) response after Senator Mitch McConnel was reported unconscious,” journalist Desiree Townsend posted on X.
“According to the dispatch, paramedics were sent to the Senator’s residence near Capitol Hill,” she posted. The call said McConnell was “found unconscious.”
In another audio clip posted by Townsend, a first responder is heard saying, “CPR in progress.” That clip also said the response to McConnell’s home was for “cardiac arrest.”
“New audio several minutes after the initial call to dispatch EMS, Senator Mitch McConnell, went into cardiac arrest,” Townsend wrote on X. “This raises questions as to if Senator Mitch McConnell was conscious the day after hospitalization when he allegedly spoke to Leader Thune,” she wrote.
Townsend posted on X Wednesday to report that she believed McConnell was still hospitalized due to “his Capitol Hill police detail’s presence outside of George Washington University Hospital.”
The Daily Beast said Robert Steurer, a McConnell representative, gave the outlet a statement issued last week. “Senator McConnell is still working closely with staff on Senate business and Kentucky matters as he continues his recovery. However, he will not be voting this week,” the statement said.
McConnell, 84, is in his final months in the Senate, where he has served since 1985. McConnell was leader of the Senate Republicans from 2007 through 2025. (The Western Journal) Read more here.

Hidden Revolutionary War bake house is uncovered after spending centuries underground

Structure on town green was used to bake bread for French soldiers supporting American Revolution

Archaeologists who were excavating an historic Connecticut town green have uncovered the well-preserved remains of an 18th-century bake house — an unusual remnant of the Revolutionary War.
The structure, used to bake bread for French troops supporting the American Revolution, was found on the Lebanon Town Green in Lebanon, Connecticut.
Archaeologists digging in the New London County town uncovered the bake house earlier in June.
Pictures from the excavation show the exposed bake house foundation, as well as various small artifacts.
Relatively few artifacts were found at the site, said Sarah P. Sportman, Connecticut state archaeologist — but one discovery in particular stood out.
Sportman told Fox News Digital that — on the last day of the excavation — archaeologists found a burned gunflint.
"Gunflints were chipped pieces of stone used in flintlock firearms, like the ones used during the Revolutionary War," she said. "The stone is used to create the spark that ignites the powder and fires the weapon."
Many of the excavation's other finds were more routine and reflected different periods of the site's history.
"In the top layers of [soil], we found some ceramic and glass fragments that date to the late 19th century," she said, which suggested general landscaping work.
