Thousands Accept Christ at California Harvest Crusade

A spiritual revival is spreading like wildfire across California. Over the weekend, nearly 50,000 people piled into Angels Stadium to hear the Gospel message delivered by Pastor Greg Laurie at his Harvest Crusade.

“People like to write California off. But God is not done with our state. The last great spiritual awakening, the Jesus Revolution started here. I pray it will happen here again!” the Southern California pastor said on social media.

Thousands of people responded during the invitation – so many that the fire marshal had to shut down access to the baseball field. They also had to turn people away once the stadium reached full capacity. More than 200,000 watched the crusade service online. And more than 500 radio stations broadcast the program life.

“What an unforgettable night at Angel Stadium! God showed up in a spectacular way, as He always does, pouring out His Spirit in a tangible, powerful manner,” Laurie said. “We experienced epic worship moments throughout the evening, especially when 45,000 voices sang ‘The Blessing’ with Kari Jobe Carnes and Cody Carnes at full volume—it was truly a taste of Heaven.

Laurie, the pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship, said the heart of the Harvest Crusade, for the past 35 years, has been the proclamation of the Gospel.

He urged Christians to “pray for all those who invited Christ into their lives” that they might be be “seed planted on good ground” and grow strong in their faith. (toddstarnes.com) Read more here

- Father, we praise You for using Christian men of influence to share Your Word and inspire faith into the lives of many. We pray Your continual blessing over the life of basketball player Jonathan Isaac, for his bold stance across the air-waves, not compromising his moral values to follow the ways of the world. We celebrate all brothers and sisters in Christ as they walk by faith and not by sight, being obedient to Your Call upon their lives. Pour Your favor upon every believer and all Christian entrepreneurs as they seek Your holy ways to make a lasting impact for the GLORY of Christ! In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

FBI and NSA Had Low Confidence That Russia Was Behind the DNC Hack

The FBI and the National Security Agency, in the heat of the 2016 election, dissented from an intelligence community assessment, which judged that Russia was behind the alleged hack of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) servers and the subsequent release of stolen emails.

The FBI and NSA instead had “low confidence” in the attribution to Russia, according to a Sept. 12, 2016, Intelligence Community Assessment released to the public for the first time on July 18, 2025, as part of a batch of records declassified by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

“FBI and NSA, however, have low confidence in the attribution of the data leaks to Russia,” the assessment states. “They agree that the disclosures appear consistent with what we might expect from Russian influence activities but note that we lack sufficient technical details to correlate the information posted online to Russian state-sponsored actors.” (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Father God, we thank You that the FBI and the NSA have worked together to clarify what may have happened during the Trump campaign in 2016. With this extremely convoluted and complicated matter, we ask that You shine Your light on the truth. We ask that our leaders would hold those who had alleged that Russia was responsible for this hack be held accountable. We ask for justice, in Your name, amen and amen.

EPA Slashes 23 Percent of Its Workforce, Eliminating Scientific Research Arm

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced on July 18 that it will cut about 23 percent of its workforce and eliminate its research and development office as part of the agency’s restructuring effort.

The agency stated that it expects its workforce to shrink from 16,155 employees to 12,448, noting that many have opted to resign through voluntary early retirement and a deferred resignation program.

The layoffs will affect the Research and Development Office, according to the EPA’s statement. The agency said the restructuring effort is expected to help it save about $748.8 million after completion.

The EPA said it plans to create an Applied Science and Environmental Solutions Office that will enable it to focus on research and science “more than ever before,” placing those functions “at the forefront of rulemakings and technical assistance to states.”

EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin said the reorganization is intended to ensure the agency is “better equipped than ever“ to deliver on its ”core mission of protecting human health and the environment while Powering the Great American Comeback” under the Trump administration.

“This reduction in force will ensure we can better fulfill that mission while being responsible stewards of your hard-earned tax dollars,” he said. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Thank you Lord that this reduction in force will ensure that the EPA can better fulfill its mission while being responsible stewards of our hard-earned tax dollars. We pray that this agency is responsible and ethical in all that they do, in Jesus' name, amen.

Duplicate Medicaid Enrollees Cost Taxpayers $14 Billion a Year: Report

Millions of people are enrolled in government health-care programs in more than one state or signed up concurrently in multiple programs that cost taxpayers about $14 billion a year, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced on July 17.

The announcement came after an analysis of 2024 enrollment data from Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and the Affordable Care Act Exchange.

Investigators found that an average of 1.2 million people were enrolled in Medicaid or CHIP in two or more states in 2024. Another 1.6 million were enrolled in Medicaid or CHIP, as well as a subsidized Exchange plan.

The total number of dual enrollees was about 2.8 million.

“Under the Trump Administration, we will no longer tolerate waste, fraud, and abuse at the expense of our most vulnerable citizens,” Robert F. Kennedy Jr., secretary of health and human services, said in a statement.

Dual enrollment wastes money without providing additional care for the patient. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Lord God we repent of this waste and abuse of money and resources. We thank you for this administration that they are cleaning house and restoring justice and righteousness in this agency. Let this program be filled with righteous individuals who will do their job with integrity, in Jesus' name.

Trump Administration Rejects ‘Ill-Advised’ WHO Pandemic Regs

Just before the July 19 deadline that would have bound the U.S. to newly amended International Health Regulations (IHR) formulated by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Trump administration announced Friday that it had formally rejected the post-COVID pandemic agreement that critics say encroaches on national sovereignty, encourages censorship on public health matters as well as increased surveillance of citizens, and calls for onerous financial commitments.

As noted in a joint statement from the Department of Health and Human Services and the State Department, the amended IHR “would give the WHO the ability to order global lockdowns, travel restrictions, or any other measures it sees fit to respond to nebulous ‘potential public health risks.’” The press release further noted that the regulations would have become binding if not rejected by July 19, regardless of the fact that the U.S. withdrew from the WHO in January.

As reported by The Washington Stand, the WHO formally adopted the new IHR as part of a global pandemic agreement in May after three years of negotiations with member countries. Under the Trump administration, the U.S. did not participate in the adoption process, which was reportedly commandeered by 180 delegates from communist China. The agreement stipulated that nations must contribute “20% of their real time production of safe, quality and effective vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics” to the WHO. It also called for imposing “social measures” during future pandemics including “physical distancing,” “mask-wearing,” and “contact tracing, isolation, and quarantine” — measures which notably failed to stop the spread of COVID during the 2020 pandemic. The agreement further called on nations to “prevent misinformation, disinformation and stigmatization” during pandemics.

“The proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations open the door to the kind of narrative management, propaganda, and censorship that we saw during the COVID pandemic,” HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. remarked in announcing the U.S. rejection of the agreement. “The United States can cooperate with other nations without jeopardizing our civil liberties, without undermining our Constitution, and without ceding away America’s treasured sovereignty.”

“Terminology throughout the amendments to the 2024 International Health Regulations is vague and broad, risking WHO-coordinated international responses that focus on political issues like solidarity, rather than rapid and effective actions,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio added. “Our Agencies have been and will continue to be clear: we will put Americans first in all our actions and we will not tolerate international policies that infringe on Americans’ speech, privacy, or personal liberties.”

Members of Congress applauded the Trump administration’s move to extricate the U.S. from the WHO regulations. (The Washington Stand) Read more here.

- Father God, we REJOICE at this HUGE news! Thank You, O Lord, for giving our President the wisdom and the strength to say NO to the dictates of the World Health Organization, that we not be bound by their edicts. Thank You that our nation will not be ensnared by their own laws. We thank You, Lord, that You are the master Physician and right now we speak healing over all who need Your touch, in Jesus' name. Amen and amen!

1. Israeli drones strike Houthi ‘military infrastructure’ at Yemen’s Hodeida port
- Times of Israel

Israeli Air Force drones struck Yemen’s Houthi-controlled Hodeida port in response to the Iran-backed group’s continued attacks on Israel, the military said Monday.

The Israel Defense Forces said in a statement that the airstrikes destroyed “military infrastructure of the Houthi terror regime” at the western Yemen port, after attempts were made by the Houthis to repair areas previously targeted by Israel in response to missile and drone attacks.

Monday’s sortie marked the thirteenth time that Israel has attacked Yemen, located some 1,800 kilometers away. (Read more)

2. Israeli Foreign Ministry decries int'l statement calling for end to Gaza war
- Jerusalem Post

The Israeli Foreign Ministry rejected a statement signed by Britain and more than 20 other countries, calling for an immediate end to the war in Gaza and criticizing the Israeli government's aid delivery model after hundreds of Palestinians were killed near sites distributing food.

The ministry said the statement "is disconnected from reality and sends the wrong message to Hamas.

"All statements and all claims should be directed at the only party responsible for the lack of a deal for the release of hostages and a ceasefire: Hamas, which started this war and is prolonging it."

France, Italy, Japan, Australia, Canada, Denmark, and other countries said more than 800 Palestinians have been killed while seeking aid and condemned what it called the "drip feeding of aid and the inhumane killing of civilians". (Read more)

3. IDF presents new plans to ‘deepen achievements’ in Gaza - JNS

The Israel Defense Forces has submitted new operational proposals to the country’s political echelon, aimed at amplifying its achievements and deepening its strategic gains in the Gaza Strip, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said on Sunday.

Zamir made the remarks during a field tour and situational assessment in the coastal enclave, accompanied by Maj. Gen. Yaniv Asor, head of the IDF Southern Command, and other senior officers.

“You are operating with courage in a war that is as just as can be,” Zamir told troops in Shejaiya. “Our objectives, and your achievements, will lead to a lasting security shift for years to come.” (Read more)

4. 25 Western nations say Gaza war ‘must end now,’ suffering has ‘reached new depths’ - Times of Israel

Britain and 24 Western allies, including Australia, Canada, France, and Italy, said in a joint statement Monday that the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza “must end now,” arguing civilians’ suffering has “reached new depths.”

The statement — which also denounced Israel’s plan to create a “humanitarian city” in Gaza’s south, as well as settler activity in the West Bank, while calling for the release of the hostages — came at a time of continued reports of mass casualty events in the vicinity of aid distribution sites, and of rising malnutrition that UNRWA has said affects some one-tenth of Gaza’s children. It also came as hostage-truce negotiations with Hamas have ground on, without any apparent breakthrough, despite expanded military operations.

Israel rejected the statement, saying it “sends the wrong message to Hamas.”

5. Footage appears to contradict Hamas claims of IDF shooting Gazans at aid sites
- World Israel News

The IDF released video footage Sunday night from a humanitarian aid drop in the Gaza Strip, showing a crowd of Gazans rushing to take food while appearing to cheer the IDF soldiers securing the perimeter.

The video, released by the Israeli military’s top Arabic spokesman, Lt. Col. Avichay Adraee, was released following repeated claims made by the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry accusing IDF soldiers of gunning down hundreds of civilians in and around aid distribution sites in recent weeks.

“Thus fell all of Hamas’s lies,” Adraee wrote.

The video, he added, was filmed on Sunday afternoon as a crowd of civilians mobbed an aid drop-off. Soldiers securing the area were instructed not to fire.

Gazans scrambling for food at the aid drop-off site can be seen turning around to face the IDF soldiers and cheering them. (Read more

1. US deports 5 immigrants to Eswatini in Africa to be held in solitary confinement | AP News

CAPE TOWN, South Africa (AP) — Five immigrants deported by the United States to the small southern African nation of Eswatini under the Trump administration’s third-country program are being held in solitary confinement in various prisons for an undetermined time, a government spokesperson said.

Thabile Mdluli, the Eswatini government spokesperson, declined to identify the correctional facilities where the five men are, citing security concerns. She said they were being held in solitary confinement away from other inmates.

She added that Eswatini planned to ultimately repatriate the five to their home countries with the help of a United Nations agency. Mdluli told The Associated Press it wasn’t clear how long that would take.

The men, who the U.S. says were convicted of serious crimes and were in the U.S. illegally, are citizens of Vietnam, Jamaica, Cuba, Yemen and Laos. Their convictions included murder and child rape, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security said, describing them as “uniquely barbaric.”

They had been jailed in the U.S. before being sent to Eswatini, according to Mdluli. (Read more)

3.  Pakistan to launch investigation into harms caused by its blasphemy laws: 'Huge ray of hope' - Christian Post

LAHORE, Pakistan — In what attorneys in Pakistan termed a “huge ray of hope,” a federal high court on Tuesday directed the government to form an inquiry commission within 30 days to investigate blatant abuse of blasphemy laws.

Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) ordered the formation of the body to investigate widespread misuse of the harsh laws, strengthened during the 1980s by military ruler Gen. Ziaul Haq in an apparent bid to win over Islamist groups and safeguard perceptions of Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, and the Quran.

Justice Khan issued the order while hearing a case involving multiple blasphemy cases that came with allegations of repeated patterns of abuse. Families of more than 100 victims of false blasphemy cases alleged that officials from the anti-blasphemy unit of the cybercrime section of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), lawyers and others conspired to honey-trap innocent people, including Christians, into sharing content deemed blasphemous, later using it to extort money by threatening legal action. 5.  High Court in Israel:: If government fires AG, decision will be frozen pending judicial review - The Times of Israel

In a highly consequential decision, the High Court of Justice rules that if the government decides to fire Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara, the decision will not take effect immediately in order to allow the court to hear legal challenges to the measure.

The decision comes following petitions filed by several government watchdog groups asking the court to freeze the dismissal process before Baharav-Miara is fired by the government, and to rule on petitions against the government’s new process for firing the attorney general.

The petitions were filed early Friday morning after a ministerial committee recommended to the government on Thursday night that it fire Baharav-Miara due to “substantive and ongoing differences of opinion between the government and the attorney general preventing effective cooperation.”

Judge Noam Sohlberg, a staunch conservative, declines to issue an interim order against the dismissal process itself, saying that judicial review can only be conducted after a decision is made to fire the attorney general. (Read more here)

- Lord, we pray over these recommendations for the government in Israek to fire the AG. We pray for the right decision to be made in the best interest of the country. In Jesus name, amen.

6. Behold, 'The Beast': Gigantic animal-like plasma plume 13 times wider than Earth hovers over the sun - Live Science

A giant plasma plume dubbed "The Beast" was recently spotted dancing above the sun as it showered our home star with blobs of impossibly fast fire. The shapeshifting projection, which stretched more than 13 times wider than Earth, was the first of several sizable solar structures to emerge in recent days.

The animalistic mass appeared Saturday (July 12) over the northwestern limb of the sun, allowing photographers from around the world to snap some stunning shots, including Michael Jäger, who captured the plume from Martinsburg in Austria (see above); and Simon Metcalfe, who saw it from near his home in Gloucestershire, England (see below).

Astrophotographer Daid Wilson also captured an amazing movie of the entire event from Inverness in Scotland, revealing that the morphing plume stretched more than 100,000 miles (165,000 km) across. (Read more here)

The Daily Jot

Got Zeal?

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, July 21, 2025

In Numbers 25:10–30:1, we meet a man whose righteous zeal changed history. Phinehas (Pinchas), the grandson of Aaron, saw blatant sin and idolatry sweeping through Israel at Baal Peor—a plague of lust and rebellion that had already claimed 24,000 lives. In a single, daring act, he speared an Israelite leader and a Midianite woman caught in the act of fornication. This was a holy intervention that deflected God’s wrath and ended the plague. As a result, God granted Phinehas a “covenant of peace” and a “covenant of perpetual priesthood.” Phinehas became a prototype of Messiah—zealous, priestly, and intervening to save the people.

Phinehas wasn’t the only one known for such godly fervor. Centuries later, Elijah the prophet stood alone on Mount Carmel, challenging 450 prophets of Baal in a spiritual showdown. Fire fell from heaven and consumed the offering, and Elijah destroyed the prophets of Baal. But soon after, Elijah fled in fear. When God found him on Mount Horeb, Elijah declared, “I have been very zealous for the LORD…” Yet God didn’t scold his passion. He refined it. Phinehas was given peace to prevent civil war in Joshua 22. Elijah was shown that God isn’t always in the fire or the earthquake—but in a still, small voice. Both men were warriors, but God called them to also be peacemakers. The Lord tempers zeal with wisdom. As Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Read More

Bipartisan HALT Fentanyl Act Signed into Law

The Halt All Legal Trafficking of Fentanyl Act, also known as the HALT Fentanyl Act, became law on Wednesday, permanently classifying fentanyl-related substances as “Fentanyl Analogs,” a Schedule I drug under the Controlled Substances Act.

A fentanyl analog tends to have the same effects on the user that regular fentanyl does, but it has been chemically altered in some way to create a substance distinct from fentanyl. It’s altered in order to avoid being classified as illegal, skirt around manufacturing restrictions, and avoid being detected in drug tests. Because fentanyl analogs have no legal medical use, they can have even more dire results than normal fentanyl.

According to the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, “The availability of black-market fentanyl and fentanyl analogs led to a U.S. opioid epidemic that continues to cause thousands of overdose deaths each year.” One of those fentanyl analogs, carfentanyl, can have lethal effects even if the user ingests an amount the size of a pin head.

Fentanyl analogs are classified as a Schedule I drug, which means that they are substances with a high chance of abuse, have no FDA-approved medical use, and are under tight regulations from the federal government. Fentanyl-related substances, which are now given the same classification as fentanyl analogs under the new law, refer to synthetic opioids, which have a similar chemical structure to fentanyl. They also have the same dangerous effects on the user. (The Washington Stand) Read more here.

Netanyahu treated for dehydration after eating spoiled food

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is recovering at home after being diagnosed with intestinal inflammation caused by spoiled food, his office announced on Sunday.

He was examined overnight by Prof. Alon Hershko of Jerusalem’s Hadassah-Ein Kerem Medical and is receiving treatment with intravenous fluids for dehydration.

His condition is described as good. Following doctors’ orders, Netanyahu will rest at home for the next three days while continuing to conduct state affairs.

The incident up follows a series of health issues for Netanyahu, 75, including a routine colonoscopy in May and prostate surgery in December.

Both times, Justice Minister Yariv Levin served as acting Prime Minister while Netanyahu was sedated. (World Israel News) Read more here.

- Father God, we are saddened by this report. We ask that, as P.M. Netanyahu rests at home, under his doctor's orders, he would be blessed with a time of refreshing and renewed health and strength, Thank You, O Lord, that Your hand is resting firmly upon the head of the Prime Minister of the nation of Israel. Kerrville Flood - Last Days Sign?
Max Greiner
Something is going on with Kerrville…  It appears our little community (which looks like the Holy Land) in the heart of Texas, appears to be the vortex of a cosmic battle between God and Satan, good and evil.

As of today, the disastrous July 4th Guadalupe flood has now claimed over 135 souls, with another 101 missing. Sadly, some bodies may never be found if they are buried under new sand bars created by the water.

Sherry and I live on a 126-acre ranch (https://www.maxgreinerart.com/studio_ranch.htm) about 7 miles from Kerrville. We live about 12 miles from the Christian camp where so many were lost. However, our studio/home is near the top of the 2,000’ hills that surround Kerrville.

As you know, the “eyes” of the nation and the world have been focused on our hometown because of this horrific weather event. The 500-year flood occurred right on America’s patriotic national holiday, “The 4th of July”, Independence Day. I think God wants America and the world to know we MUST be dependent on Him. God wants all people to focus on the cross of Jesus Christ and repent of our sins.
