Two tons of the Gospel: Zulu booklets reach thousands at South African youth conference
|
|
South Africa (MNN) — A massive youth conference in South Africa became the launch point for a powerful Scripture outreach, thanks to World Missionary Press (WMP) and its local partners. Earlier this month, over 7,000 young people from across the region gathered at KwaSizabantu Mission for a week of worship, teaching, and spiritual renewal. One speaker at the KSB youth conference, Dr. Peter Hammond with Livingstone Fellowship, brought more than a message. He brought Gospel booklets printed by WMP. Helen Williams with WMP says, “The service was overflowing, and they passed out two tons of World Missionary Press Gospel booklets in Zulu to this mission in time for the youth conference!”
The truth of Scripture is especially needed in South Africa. Although Christianity as a religious label is increasing across the country, mainline denominations are decreasing. More and more South African youth are drawn to heretical offshoots of Christianity, prosperity gospel, and cults. By reading and knowing God’s Word, young people can better discern false teachings and follow Jesus in wisdom and truth! Williams says, “It’s encouraging! I can just see this guy in South Africa handing out two tons – 4,000 pounds – of booklets, and all these young, eager Christian South Africans from the region ready to go out with their Zulu booklets. “Only the Lord can do all of this – lay out this plan of distribution, and us taking the money that is sent to us and the prayers that are given for us. Iran Doubles Down on Refusal to End Nuclear Program, Ready for War with Israel
|

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian on Wednesday doubled down on Tehran’s refusal to abandon its nuclear program and said Iran is "fully prepared" for a renewed fight with Israel. The Iranian president’s comments came just two days after Tehran’s foreign minister confirmed to Fox News that Iran will not give up its enrichment program, but continues to claim Tehran is not interested in developing a nuclear weapon
"[US President Donald] Trump says that Iran should not have a nuclear weapon and we accept this because we reject nuclear weapons and this is our political, religious, humanitarian and strategic position," Pezeshkian said in an interview with Al Jazeera.
"We believe in diplomacy, so any future negotiations must be according to a win-win logic, and we will not accept threats and dictates," he added. (Fox News) Read more here. |

We ask You to bring out all that is being hidden from other countries' leaders, continue revealing what is actually happening in Iran as opposed to what President Pezeshkian has said. The amount of enriched uranium that Tehran claims to need is far beyond what they can use for providing nuclear power to keep their cities going. Holy Spirit, we ask You to move on the hearts of all leaders coming to Iran to discuss their nuclear program. We ask for an unmasking of lies, that each of these leaders will have great discernment of what is truth and what is not. Bring unity into this group that they speak as one voice in response to what they have seen and heard. We ask this in the name El Roi, The God Who Sees everything.

Tulsi Refers Obama For Criminal Charges After Debunking Top "Russia Hoax Lies"

Gabbard said on Wednesday that she was referring former President Barack Obama for criminal charges to the Department of Justice (DOJ).
“We have referred and will continue to refer all these documents to the Department of Justice and the FBI to investigate the criminal implications of this,” Gabbard said.
“The evidence that we have found and that we have released directly point to President Obama leading the manufacturing of this intelligence assessment,” she continued.
“There are multiple pieces of evidence and intelligence that confirm that fact.”

Knesset Passes Non-binding Motion on Judea and Samaria Sovereignty
|
|
|
A majority of 71 out of 120 Knesset members on Wednesday passed a non-binding resolution in favor of applying Israeli sovereignty to Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley.
Only 13 lawmakers voted against the resolution, submitted by Dan Illouz (Likud), Simcha Rothman (Religious Zionism), Limor Son Har-Melech (Otzma Yehudit) and Oded Forer (Yisrael Beiteinu).
“Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley are an inseparable part of the Land of Israel—the historic, cultural and spiritual homeland of the Jewish people,” the preamble to the resolution states.
“Centuries and millennia before the establishment of the modern state, the forefathers and prophets of the nation lived and acted in these regions,” it continues. “Here, the foundations of Jewish faith and culture were laid. Cities like Hebron, Shechem (Nablus), Shiloh and Beit El are not merely historical sites—they are living expressions of the continuous Jewish presence in the land.”
The motion was passed as a hatza’a l’Seder Yom, or “suggestion for discussion on the agenda,” a parliamentary tool equivalent to a resolution that does not obligate the government to act on its content. (JNS.org) Read more here, |

- Abba, we give You praise and thanksgiving for the passage of the "hatza'a l'Seder Yom" concerning Israeli sovereignty over Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley. Thank You that so many of the Knesset members voted in favor of the resolution. Jesus, Your heart is for all the land You initially gave to Israel to once again be within it's borders and under its sovereignty. We ask You to let this vote be a "witness" of what You did at the beginning and we say, "DO IT AGAIN GOD!". Bring the desire of Your heart to pass in Your land and among Your people. Let Your kids come face to face with You, let their hearts cry out, restore hearts back to their heavely Father, bring them into relationship with Jesus, let the fullness of the triune God fill their lives, their homes, their hearts. ENTERING THE MONTH OF AV ON THE HEBREW CALENDAR
|
|
Happy Rosh Chodesh Av! As we enter the month of Av, we are reminded that Rosh Chodesh is a biblical celebration, the first commandment given to the Jewish people in Exodus 12:2: “This month shall be for you the beginning of the months.” Rosh Chodesh is a time for self-reflection and remembrance before the LORD, a time for joy and the sounding of the shofar.
However, this month is also marked by Tisha B'Av, the saddest day on the Jewish calendar, which commemorates some of the greatest tragedies in Jewish history. The Sages recall key events that happened on this day, including:
The decree that the generation of the Wilderness, who believed the evil report of the spies, would not enter the Land of Israel.
The destruction of the First Temple.
The destruction of the Second Temple.
The beginning of World War I.
The expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1492 and from England in 1290 on Tisha B’Av.
The Nazi regime’s approval of Himmler’s “Final Solution,” initiating the Holocaust.
For those of us rooted in the hope of the Messiah, what can we learn from Tisha B'Av? As believers in THE WAY, we can approach this day with empathy and a deeper understanding of the suffering experienced by the Jewish people. The destruction of the Temples is not just a historical event, but a deep lesson on the importance of repentance and compassion for the people of Israel. As people of THE WAY, we are called to stand with Israel, showing compassion and walking in truth, following the example of true repentance and restoration.

The Sages emphasize two primary themes for the month of Av: strict justice and divine mercy. The term dever (plague of sudden death) in Exodus 9:3 describes divine justice, highlighting how God's punishment is always measured and just. This theme ties into the idea of midah k'neged midah — “measure for measure,” a key principle where God’s justice aligns perfectly with the transgression. For instance, the number five, often linked with judgment (din), is present in the Mishnah's reference to the five bitter herbs used in the Seder meal. The month of Av, with its focus on justice, invites us to reflect on the divine balance between judgment and mercy.
The Shabbat following Tisha B'Av brings us to the comforting words in Isaiah 40:1: “Comfort ye, comfort ye, My people,says your God.” The doubling of the word nachamu (comfort) is significant, and the Sages have pondered why God repeats this verb. The principle is that just as the measure of suffering was doubled for Israel due to their sins (Lamentations 1:8), so too, God's comfort is doubled to restore and heal. As followers of Messiah, we understand that true repentance leads to hope and restoration. The promise of comfort is a theme that resonates with both Jews and Christians. In the Apostolic writings we see that the Messiah offers comfort to those who mourn and promises that those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be filled (Matthew 5:4, 6). We also find parallels in Romans 9-11, where Paul expresses his longing for the restoration of Israel, showing that the suffering of Israel is not in vain, but ultimately leads to her redemption.
In this month of Av, as we reflect on loss and restoration, let us also look to Parashat Pinchas for inspiration on leadership, an essential theme for both the Jewish people and Israel today. The people of Israel, having wandered the desert, are on the brink of entering the Promised Land. This momentous transition marks the shift of leadership from Moses to Joshua, a new generation that will face formidable enemies and challenges.

Psalm 122:6 commands us to “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you.” This is not just a prayer but an active call to stand with Israel and support her in her time of need. May we be faithful to this call, understanding that true repentance brings hope and restoration.
Avinu Shebashamayim, We repent for our disregard toward Your chosen land, Israel. We will count Jerusalem as our chief joy. Forgive us, help us to see Jerusalem through Your eyes—a place of salvation and praise for the entire world. May our hearts be with Jerusalem always. May our mourning turn to joy, and may we see the peace of Jerusalem in our time.
“…now is the time to favor Zion!” Now. Is. The. Time. Transform our mourning into joy according to Psalm 122… ‘But YOU, O’ L-rd…YOU will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her …has come!”

1. Israeli delegation will return to Qatar only when deal is feasible - Israeli officials

Following a pivotal meeting overnight with international mediators who had come from talks with Hamas representatives, the Israeli delegation returned to Israel early Thursday morning for consultations after over two weeks of high-stakes negotiations in Doha.
The Israeli negotiating team will leave Qatar to continue consultations on the ceasefire proposal in Israel, in light of Hamas's response on Thursday morning, the Prime Minister's Office said.
US special envoy Steve Witkoff later added: “We have decided to bring our team home from Doha for consultations after the latest response from Hamas, which clearly shows a lack of desire to reach a ceasefire in Gaza. (Read more)

2. IDF on alert as Houthis aim to raid Israel - Israel Hayom
The Houthi military has just graduated its third cohort of elite fighters, who are being trained to launch raids on Israel proper.
The name given to this group, "Tufan al-Aqsa" (Al-Aqsa Flood), is the same as the one Hamas used for its October 7 massacre. This choice only solidifies the deep connection the Houthis maintain with Gaza, in whose name they continue to launch missile attacks on Israel. One might be tempted to dismiss their vision of unleashing another round of devastation as pure fantasy: the distance alone presents a formidable obstacle even for elite fighters showcased in slickly produced YouTube videos.
Yet their declaration serves as a warning: this invasion plan very much exists, albeit currently in a nascent stage. But it could resurface, unexpectedly and dangerously, at any time. The Houthi threat demands continuous monitoring to ensure they don't stage a surprise maritime or land assault, potentially targeting the critical port of Eilat or a vulnerable kibbutz. (Read more)

3. Eight IDF soldiers wounded in Kfar Yona terror ramming, police searching for second suspect - Jerusalem Post
Eight IDF soldiers were wounded, two moderately, and six lightly, when a terrorist conducted a ramming attack at the Beit Lid Junction near Kfar Yona on Thursday morning. The soldiers had been waiting at a bus stop.
While one of the terrorists was arrested, a second suspect, Arkan Khaled, 27, from Taibe, is still being searched for, according to the police.
Magen David Adom teams administered aid at the scene of the attack.
“I saw the bus stop shattered, glass broken, and eight injured people nearby,” MDA motorcycle paramedic Idan Shina said. “Three of them had been thrown about 15 meters back into the dirt behind the bus stop. All were fully conscious and told us that while they were standing at the bus stop, a vehicle suddenly sped toward them, hit them, and fled the scene.” (Read more)

4. France to recognize Palestinian state, drawing Israeli reproach - JNS
French President Emmanuel Macron stated on Thursday that “consistent with its historic commitment to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East,” Paris intends to recognize a Palestinian state.
“I will make this solemn announcement before the United Nations General Assembly this coming September,” Macron stated. “The urgent priority today is to end the war in Gaza and to bring relief to the civilian population.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “strongly” condemned Macron’s decision “to recognize a Palestinian state next to Tel Aviv in the wake of the Oct. 7 massacre.”

5. Europe Sees Sharp Rise in Attacks Targeting Israelis Amid Growing Antisemitism - Algemeiner
Across Europe, Israelis are facing a disturbing surge of targeted attacks and hostility, as a wave of antisemitic incidents — from violent assaults and vandalism to protests and legal actions — spreads amid rising tensions following recent conflicts in the Middle East.
On Wednesday, a group of Israeli teenagers was physically assaulted by dozens of pro-Palestinian assailants — some reportedly armed with knives — on the Greek island of Rhodes.
This latest antisemitic incident took place after the Israeli teens left a nightclub, when a group of pro-Palestinian individuals followed them to their hotel and violently attacked them, leaving several with minor injuries.

- Oh, Lord, let this be a lesson for all of us to approach the use of AI with caution. We pray that companies will see the danger of putting too much trust into a machine, especially one that has been programed by flawed human beings. We pray that businesses will see the inaccuracies that occur when thoughtful and helpful, live persons are not used. We pray for businesses in our country to use wisdom in using this kind of technology and that more jobs will be provided and protected for real persons. As an additional caution, we pray that Your people will not be deceived by the use of technology of any kind to sway them away from true faith in You as mentioned in the Book of Revelations.

2. Elon’s Spat With Trump May Cost Him Mammoth Contracts for Golden Dome – Discern Report
President Donald Trump’s administration may be expanding its options for key Golden Dome components to contractors beyond Elon Musk’s SpaceX, Reuters reported Tuesday.
The administration is reportedly courting companies such as Amazon, Stoke Space and Rocket Lab to help in launching and maintaining satellites in orbit, with the government
having concerns about over-relying on SpaceX after Trump and Musk’s explosive split, three unnamed sources familiar with the situation told Reuters. Trump’s Golden Dome missile defense project is estimated to cost around $175 billion and is meant to implement space-based solutions to help intercept long-range ballistic missiles.
SpaceX was rumored to be the single largest contractor involved in the project, providing
reusable rockets that would be instrumental in launching a number of satellites into orbit.
Trump and Musk reportedly had friction with each other during the billionaire’s brief stint
spearheading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Trump’s advocacy for the
One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) also bothered Musk substantially, but the final straw for the two’s relationship was Trump’s decision to shoot down the nomination of one of Musk’s

3. Bill Gates Complains Trump Has Put His Global ‘Vaccine’ Agenda ‘at

Billionaire Bill Gates has accused President Donald Trump’s administration of putting his
global “vaccination” agenda “at risk” by cutting off taxpayer funding for his organization
GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance.

4. Trump Admin Slashes 25% Of IRS Workforce In Sharp Reversal Of Biden-Era Expansion - ZeroHedge
In one of the most sweeping overhauls of the federal bureaucracy in recent memory, the
Internal Revenue Service is undergoing a dramatic contraction under the Trump
administration, which has cut nearly 26,000 positions - approximately 25% of its
workforce - through buyouts, retirements, and firings.
The move aims to undo the Biden-era expansion of the tax agency, which had grown to
103,000 employees following the 2022 passage of a major budget and climate law that
poured tens of billions of dollars into IRS operations. As of May, staffing is expected to drop
to 77,000 once all separations are finalized, according to data from the Treasury Inspector
General for Tax Administration (TIGTA).
“These separations will have nationwide implications,” the inspector general warned
in a report detailing the reductions, the Washington Times reports.
The staffing cuts have reached deep into the agency’s core functions. The agency has
shed 27 percent of its tax examiners and 26 percent of its revenue agents. Its
information technology division is down 23 percent, and the management and

The Donald J. Trump administration has brought the fight against the elite universities in
the US that espoused DEI practices and were soft on combating antisemitism.
Trump cut $400 million in federal funding to Columbia University, accusing it of ignoring
antisemitism during pro-Palestinian protests sparked by the Israel-Hamas conflict.
In his usual style, the president issued Columbia an ultimatum, demanding nine significant
policy changes, including banning face masks during protests and disciplining students
involved in demonstrations.
Under severe financial pressure, Columbia agreed to most of the administration’s demands
by March 21, 2025, to negotiate the restoration of federal funding. But today (23), Columbia University announced that it has reached a deal with the Trump
administration to pay more than $220 million to the federal government.
They aim to restore federal research money that was canceled. (Read more)

Sanctuary Policies Fueling America’s Decline

Five of America’s largest cities—Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles—are in freefall. Crime is surging. Budgets are busted. Taxpayers are covering the cost of illegal immigration. And local leadership, dominated by progressive policies, continues to protect lawbreakers rather than enforce the law. These cities share more than just size—they all call themselves “sanctuary cities.” But sanctuary from what? They shelter illegal immigrants while allowing crime and poverty to rise. They punish law-abiding citizens with taxes, debt, and instability. And they’re actively resisting the enforcement of immigration laws. And they are run by radical left-wing Democrats.
In Philadelphia, 3 in 10 children live in poverty, and neighborhoods like Kensington are open-air drug markets. In 2023, there were over 21,000 car thefts—up 92% from the previous year. New York City faces a $10 billion budget deficit by 2028. Already, over $4 billion has been spent housing illegal migrants in hotels and repurposed schools. Veterans have reportedly been displaced from shelters to make room. More than 146,000 longtime residents left the city last year. And now, NYC could soon elect a Communist, yes Communist, mayor who is openly hostile to Israel—ironic for a city with the largest Jewish population outside of Israel. There were over 2,200 shootings last year in Chicago—50, the July 4 weekend alone. Pam Bondi cancels appearance at anti-trafficking summit over medical issue

Attorney General Pam Bondi abruptly canceled her scheduled Wednesday appearance at CPAC's anti-trafficking summit in Washington, D.C., citing her recovery from a health issue.
Bondi was expected to speak at CPAC's Summit Against Human Trafficking when it was revealed she could not make her scheduled appearance.
"I do have a note from the attorney general, from Attorney General Pam Bondi, that I wanted to share," Acting Assistant Attorney General Matthew R. Galeotti told attendees.
Galeotti then read Bondi's statement to the crowd.
"I'm sorry to miss all of my CPAC friends today," Bondi said in her statement.
"Unfortunately, I am recovering from a recently torn cornea, which is preventing me from being with you," she continued. "I truly wish I was able to join you and support all of the work being done on this critical issue."
After reading the statement, scattered applause was heard from the audience.
"We appreciate the applause for her and not boos for me," Galeotti joked. "So I will do my best to fill those big shoes."

We are so happy that Pam sought medical help and pray that her cornea will heal perfectly, with 100% vision restored to the injured eye and no scarring. May she take the time needed for treatment and rest as the physicians prescribed. We are grateful that there are other government officials of similar integrity and work ethic to stand in for her until she is released to return to her job as U.S. Attorney General. May each federal official receive Your supreme wisdom and guidance as they work to protect our nation.
We also pray that our Attorney General and other federal officials would receive healing of their Spiritual vision as needed. Holy Spirit. We invite You to visit each official to bring truth, discernment and spiritual growth and healing. Your help is especially needed regarding the Epstein case—the information given to the public is contradictory and confusing. We pray for truth and facts in all areas of this investigation. Lord, You are not the author of confusion and You have promised Your wisdom and vision as we seek You. We stand in the gap for any officials involved in this case that are not seeking Your help and intervention.

CBP: Trump Delivers Most Secure Border in History -- June Migrant Arrests Drop 15 Percent from Prior Record

The Trump administration delivered on its promise to secure the U.S.-Mexico border and set new records for the lowest number of migrant encounters. The June Southwest Land Border Encounters Report from U.S. Customs and Border Protection shows yet another decrease in migrant encounters, including the lowest number of encounters in a single day — 128 on June 28.
In a written statement, CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott said, “From shutting down illegal crossings to seizing fentanyl and enforcing billions in tariffs, CBP is delivering results on every front. Under this administration, we are protecting this country with relentless focus, and the numbers prove it.”
In June, Border Patrol agents apprehended 8,024 migrants who illegally crossed the border between ports of entry. “A new historic low,” officials wrote. The arrest of 6,072 illegal aliens who crossed the southwest border between ports of entry in June represents a decrease of 15 percent from the previous record set in March.
The Trump administration also set the record for the lowest number of migrants illegally crossing the border in a single day on June 28, when 136 migrants were apprehended. This compares to the Biden-era single-day record of more than 13,000 migrants.
For the second month in a row, not a single migrant who was apprehended after illegally crossing the border was admitted into the United States. During the Biden era of “catch and release,” between 50-70 percent of migrants who were encountered at the border were released into the U.S. Frequently, this resulted in thousands of illegal aliens being dumped into American cities on a daily basis without adequate time for screening.
The 6,072 arrests in June represent a decrease of nearly 93 percent from the previous year. The record-low number of migrants apprehended in June was 97 percent lower than the 222,018 apprehensions in December 2022, the peak of the Biden Border Crisis. - Almighty God and King of Kings, we cannot thank You enough for the turn-around in the small number of illegal aliens at our southern border since the Trump Administration has taken office. You have heard our prayers and provided all that is needed for our President to get this job done. We thank and praise You for all of the ICE agents and Border Patrol who have put their lives on the line to protect ours from the rampant number of foreign criminals and illegals now in our communities from coast to coast.
We pray for Your divine plans for each of the illegals. You see and know hearts and
circumstances. We ask that Your kingdom come and Your will be done for each individual alien, as well as Your response for each state and city’s reactions to federal orders and ICE raids.
Lord, we earnestly pray that our “boundary walls” would remain in the years and decades ahead, securing our nation for our posterity. We especially pray for the Blood of the Lamb to cover the U.S.A.

Obama's Office Responds to Trump's Accusation of Treason: 'Outrageous'

Former President Barack Obama’s office claims that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) report indicating senior officials in the Obama administration orchestrated the “Russia Collusion” hoax after President Donald Trump was elected, is “outrageous.”
Obama spokesman Patrick Rodenbush issued a statement challenging the report released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Friday, according to a screenshot from the Hill White House columnist Niall Stanage.
The ODNI report found “overwhelming evidence that demonstrates how, after President Trump won the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton, President Obama and his national security cabinet members manufactured and politicized intelligence to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Trump,” per a release from Gabbard’s office.
Rodenbush heavily denied the allegations in the report:
Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response. But these claims are outrageous and merit one. These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction.
Nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes. These findings were affirmed by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, led by then-Chairman Marco Rubio.
The statement comes hours after Trump declared Obama is “guilty.”
“He’s guilty. It’s not a question, you know, I like to say, ‘Let’s give it time.’ It’s there. He’s guilty… This was treason. This was every word you can think of. They tried to steal the election. They tried to obfuscate the election,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.
Trump also emphasized that he did not pursue charges against twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in 2017 over her email scandal, but said after what has happened to him over the past decade, “it’s time to go after people.”
“You know, when we caught Hillary Clinton, I said, ‘You know what, let’s not… go too far here; It’s the ex-wife of a president.’ And I thought it was sort of terrible, and I let her off the hook. And I’m very happy I did,” Trump said.
“…After what they did to me, and whether it’s right or wrong, it’s time to go after people. Obama’s been caught directly. So people say, ‘Oh, you know a group.’ It’s not a group, it’s Obama. His orders are on the paper. The papers are signed,” Trump added. (Breitbart) Read more here.
