Everyday Revolutionary War heroes take center stage in Trump's 'Spirit of '76' exhibit

EXCLUSIVE: Beneath a towering 23-foot bronze figure holding the Declaration of Independence aloft, designer Matthew Taylor stopped beside an equestrian statue that many Americans have likely never seen, or even heard of. "Most Americans have never heard of Caesar Rodney," Taylor told Fox News Digital during an exclusive tour of the new Spirit of '76 exhibition at Freedom Plaza. "But we owe this man an enormous debt of gratitude." The temporary installation, unveiled as part of America's 250th anniversary celebration, transforms Freedom Plaza into an open-air gallery honoring Revolutionary War figures whose names rarely appear in history textbooks.
Commissioned by President Donald Trump, the exhibition features 22 statues and sculptural installations, including a restored equestrian monument of Rodney, a towering "Spirit of Liberty" centerpiece, bronze figures representing Revolutionary soldiers, and an immersive memorial honoring Americans who died aboard British prison ships during the Revolution.
According to the National Park Service, the exhibit was created to honor the "heroes and martyrs of the Revolution" during America's semiquincentennial and is intended to celebrate the enduring "Spirit of '76' that continues to live on in every American heart." Lindsey Graham's final mission nears finish line as world leaders gather to honor him

As Washington, D.C., prepares to say its final goodbyes to the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, his last legislative crusade is inching closer to the finish line.
Graham, who died suddenly at the age of 71 earlier this month, will begin the first part of his final journey home to South Carolina in Washington on Tuesday, when lawmakers and world leaders will gather to pay tribute to the longtime lawmaker.
He will get two celebrations of his life in Washington on Tuesday, first in the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol in the morning and then at a private funeral service at the National Cathedral.
His impact on the world stage will draw several to the services in Washington, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The latter is set to speak with lawmakers Tuesday morning as the Senate prepares to move on Graham’s passion project: inflicting bone-crushing sanctions on Russia in response to the war in Ukraine. JUST IN: Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Jackson Denies President Trump’s Request to Immediately Reinstate Key Parts of Executive Order on Mail-In Ballots

In March 2025, President Trump signed Executive Order 14248: Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections.
“Free, fair, and honest elections unmarred by fraud, errors, or suspicion are fundamental to maintaining our constitutional Republic. The right of American citizens to have their votes properly counted and tabulated, without illegal dilution, is vital to determining the rightful winner of an election,” the executive order said.
“Under the Constitution, State governments must safeguard American elections in compliance with Federal laws that protect Americans’ voting rights and guard against dilution by illegal voting, discrimination, fraud, and other forms of malfeasance and error,” the EO said.
“And the injunction is especially indefensible because the agencies are still deliberating over how (if at all) to implement the Order, yet the district court preemptively decided that whatever the agencies may choose to do will necessarily be unlawful,” John Sauer wrote.

The Democratic Socialists of America mean to end the United States — and if you don't believe me, take a look at what DSA Co-Chair Megan Romer had to say about it this weekend.
Romer appeared on Fox News Sunday opposite Shannon Bream, where she seemed happy to explain her party platform to end the Founders' 250-year-old experiment in liberty, federalism, and self-governance.
"We're going to put up on the screen a few of the things that are part of your platform," Bream said, "and I want to ask you to just give me sort of a true/false on these."

RFK Jr. Reveals the COVID Vaccine Secret That Fauci Hid From Americans

For years, Dr. Anthony Fauci assured Americans that the COVID-19 vaccines were safe and effective. What he never mentioned, according to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Father, we ask You to deal with Anthony Fauci according to Your righteousness and justice. We forgive him and pray that he would repent, and we set him right before Your throne of grace. This man has sinned in so many grievous ways against humanity and we know that there are logical consequences given for crimes and sins, so we ask that he would receive all that is due him for his cruel crimes against the people of this nation and even the world, in Jesus's name.

1. Israel orders expansion of military operations across the West Bank - i24 News
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has instructed the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to expand its operations against Palestinian militant groups in the West Bank and prepare to take control of an additional refugee camp, following a security meeting on Monday with IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir and senior defense officials.
According to a statement from the Defence Ministry, the planned operation will follow the approach used in the Jenin, Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, where the military says it dismantled militant infrastructure before maintaining a permanent IDF presence.
"Palestinian terrorism is trying to raise its head again," Katz said, defending the decision to intensify military operations across the West Bank. (Read more)

2. IDF demolishes strategic Palestinian buildings in Samaria - Israel National News
The Civil Administration carried out a large-scale enforcement operation in northern Samaria on Tuesday, demolishing several unauthorized Palestinian buildings deemed strategically significant.
The operation was ordered by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich following a directive to map and remove illegal construction after the deadly terror attacks in the region over the weekend.
Among the structures demolished were a four-story industrial and residential building covering about 800 square meters and a separate commercial and industrial building measuring roughly 450 square meters. The enforcement operation focused on an area adjacent to the Dotan Valley settlement, which the government has designated for development as part of its policy of strengthening Israeli communities while curbing illegal construction. An Israeli airstrike eliminated the head of Hamas’s internal security apparatus in the central Gaza Strip, the Israel Defense Forces and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) said on Monday.
Wael Musa Khaled Ladawi was killed in a precision strike in Gaza’s Deir al-Balah area on Sunday, according to a statement.
“Hamas’s internal security apparatus is a central and clandestine body within the Hamas terrorist organization,” it said. “Under Ladawi’s command, the apparatus collected intelligence for senior Hamas officials, supporting their decision-making and facilitating the planning and execution of terrorist attacks against the State of Israel.” (Read more)

Ra'am chairman MK Mansour Abbas on Tuesday refused to directly answer whether Hamas is a terrorist organization that should be destroyed.
During an interview with Kan Reshet Bet, Abbas was repeatedly pressed on the question by the interviewer but declined to give a clear answer.
At the start of the interview, Abbas said his party had condemned the October 7 massacre. "We condemned every act of terror. RINO and Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) thought he could get to the August recess without having to vote for election integrity legislation or a budget resolution. But two Republican senators have now stepped up to force a roll call vote on the SAVE America Act.
Get-out-the-vote warrior Scott Presler triggered the upset in the Senate by begging one senator — any senator — to request a roll call vote and force senators to go on the record about the SAVE America Act before the recess. This action is in accord with Senate rules and is based on Article I, Section 5, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution. Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) responded to Presler by offering to take up the challenge, and then notified Thune, "I hereby object to any effort to put the Senate into recess in August—at least until such time as the Senate has passed the SAVE America Act—and hereby request a roll call vote."
Then on Sunday Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) joined in the effort. "I stand with [Mike Lee]. I will vote to stay in session unless we have passed the SAVE America Act. The American people expect us to deliver. They deserve secure elections," Scott wrote on X. Read more

2. 'Totally insane': Watch Sen. Eric Schmitt lay out how Congress can fix Supreme Court's 'ridiculous interpretation' of Constitution - WND
Republican Missouri Sen. Eric Schmitt unveiled his plan to fix the country's broken laws governing immigration — both legal and illegal — as well as the one issue on which both parties appear to agree.
Schmitt called the Supreme Court's June decision that President Donald Trump's birthright citizenship executive order was unconstitutional a "ridiculous interpretation" of the Constitution in an exclusive interview with the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF). The GOP lawmaker discussed why he has been especially active on the issue in recent weeks and laid out what his fellow legislators can do to ensure the Constitution is interpreted as its framers intended.
The 6-3 Trump v. Barbara decision "misinterpreted the 14th Amendment and the Civil Rights Act [of 1866] that followed after the Civil War, which were meant to make sure that the children of former slaves were indeed full-fledged citizens," the senator told the DCNF.
"That was the right thing to do," he added, emphasizing that this was the "purpose" of establishing birthright citizenship in the country. "It certainly didn't mean, nor was it contemplated, that you could come here from China, give birth, leave a week later, and then have a child raised in the CCP [Chinese Communist Party], come back on their 18th birthday, and run for office or contribute to political campaigns and be a citizen just like somebody who spent their whole life here." 3. Kentucky Gov. Beshear Demands Answers From McConnell - Newsmax
Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear is calling on Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., to publicly address his health and demonstrate he is capable of serving in the Senate or resign his seat, citing growing concerns over the Republican lawmaker's prolonged absence from public view.
In a letter sent Monday to the longtime Republican senator and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., Beshear, a Democrat, said McConnell should directly address Kentuckians about his condition after more than six weeks away from public appearances, reports The Hill on Tuesday.
"As Governor of the state you serve, I am calling on you to directly and verbally address the people of Kentucky and provide proof of your capacity to serve, or resign," Beshear wrote.
McConnell, 84, has not been seen publicly since he was hospitalized June 14 for what his office described as an unspecified medical condition.
Under the current law, the governor is directed to call a special election, but no specific timetable is outlined, raising the possibility that a Senate seat could remain vacant for an extended period if one were to open. Read more

A blue state has been caught asleep at the switch of protecting voting integrity, but don’t count on it to fix things any time soon.
In case you missed it, New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill—a Democrat—admitted Tuesday [last week] that 6,600 noncitizens had been improperly registered to vote in her state since 2023.
For years we’ve been told that noncitizen voting in American elections never, ever happens. It’s nothing but a conspiracy.
Now that New Jersey got ahead of a Justice Department probe and fessed up to the fact that thousands of noncitizens were registered to vote and at least hundreds voted in previous elections, the media has switched to “Republicans pounce, no fair” mode.

5. Court checks Pritzker as Trump administration scores another immigration win

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker was dealt a major legal blow Friday after a federal judge gutted key state laws providing in-state tuition, financial aid and scholarships to illegal immigrants, marking another win for the Trump administration's nationwide immigration agenda.
U.S. District Judge Stephen McGlynn, a Trump appointee serving in the Southern District of Illinois, sided with the Justice Department, ruling that Illinois' in-state tuition policies, the RISE Act and the Illinois DREAM Act are "unconstitutional and invalid" as they apply to illegal immigrants.
The ruling permanently prevents Illinois from enforcing the laws, although McGlynn delayed the order from taking effect for 14 days to allow the state to ask an appeals court to intervene. Read more

6. Shocking Stats in Oregon Make It the Leading State in Child Mutilation

Teens are more likely to receive a transgender-related diagnosis than Type 2 diabetes in the state of Oregon, a recent report found. The Beaver State also classifies the hormones and surgeries that come with attempting a gender transition as “medically necessary” for these teenagers, The Wall Street Journal notes.
WSJ reported that according to the study, published in Research Connections, “at age 17, roughly 1 in every 240 girls and 1 in every 630 boys in Oregon received cross-sex hormones for ‘gender dysphoria’ between 2016 and 2023. These figures,” Leor Sapir and Paul Terdal observe, “are triple and double the national average for girls and boys, respectively. For younger children the disparity is even greater: Cross-sex hormone use in the study was four to five times the national rate among 14- and 15-year-olds, and puberty-blocker use was more than five times the national rate at age 14.”
Walt Heyer, a senior fellow at Family Research Council, told The Washington Stand that it’s damaging to children when adults enable them to adopt an alternate gender identity. Heyer spent eight years of his life identifying as a transgender female before reclaiming his God-given identity over 35 years ago. “Hormones and surgery do not change anyone’s sex, and the whole practice is fraudulent and should be criminalized.” Read more

Ancient Egyptian settlement discovered from era that fueled Exodus debate

Archaeologists in Egypt have uncovered an ancient settlement dating back to the Second Intermediate Period, an era that has long figured in scholarly debates over the historical setting of the biblical Exodus.
The settlement was found at the Tell el-Koua site in the Wadi Tumilat region, an ancient corridor linking the eastern Nile Delta with Egypt's eastern frontier.
The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced the discovery in late June.
It includes 15th Dynasty tombs and evidence that the site remained occupied into the 18th Dynasty, spanning the transition from Hyksos rule to the New Kingdom.
The Hyksos were rulers who controlled much of northern Egypt about 3,600 years ago before being driven out by the Egyptians.
While biblical scholars remain divided over when — or even whether — the Exodus occurred as described in the Bible, some have suggested the Hyksos period may provide historical context for the biblical account.
At the site, archaeologists uncovered 10 mudbrick tombs, the remains of homes, ovens used for production, grain storage silos and a walled neighborhood dating to the Second Intermediate Period. (Fox News) Read More
