Defund movement faces 'absolute rejection' as murders drop and police budgets climb: law enforcement group
|
|
Some major cities have spent recent years increasing support for their police and saw a drop in homicides, something one law enforcement group says indicates an "absolute rejection" of efforts to defund them. Cities such as Philadelphia, Denver, Minneapolis and New York City have increased their police budgets and have seen lower homicide rates in the first quarter of 2025, compared with 2024. The Major Cities Chiefs Association, which compiled data from Jan. 1–March 31 in 2025 and 2024, showed that several cities with increased funding for police also experienced a drop in homicides.
Philadelphia saw a 28% decrease in homicides year to date, while Minneapolis saw a 54% decrease, and Denver experienced a decrease of almost 59%. According to the New York City Police Department, there has been a 28% decrease in murders year to date. All of these cities have something in common: Local lawmakers voted to increase police budgets in 2024, despite pressure from activists who wanted to defund the police. City officials in Minneapolis voted to increase their police budget by 6% in 2024, according to MPR News. New York City also increased funding to its police department in 2024. - Father, we celebrate commonsense decisions for supporting law enforcement, causing decreases in crime across our nation. We also thank You for good news of expanding police force budgets and a movement towards rejecting the past 'defund the police' agenda. May each officer be shielded from harm and feel empowered to do their jobs well. We pray for all citizens to experience safety within their neighborhoods. Bring back Your plumb line of righteousness, so lawbreakers will once again be accountable for crime and safe streets will return to cities throughout our nation! In Jesus Name we pray.- Amen and Amen.

Trump's 'big, beautiful bill' clears final hurdle before House-wide vote
|
|
The House Rules Committee has teed up President Donald Trump's "big, beautiful bill" for a chamber-wide vote Wednesday after a nearly 12-hour-long session debating the massive piece of legislation.
It now heads to the entire chamber for consideration, where several Republicans have already signaled they're concerned with various aspects of the measure.
Just two Republicans voted against reporting the bill out of committee – Reps. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., and Chip Roy, R-Texas, conservatives who had expressed reservations with the bill earlier on Tuesday. No Democrats voted to advance it, while the remaining seven Republicans did.
The majority of Republican lawmakers appear poised to advance the bill, however, believing it's the best possible compromise vehicle to make Trump's campaign promises a reality.
"This bill is President Trump’s agenda, and we are making it law. House Republicans are ready to finish the job and put the One Big Beautiful Bill on President Trump’s desk in time for Independence Day," House GOP leaders said in a joint statement after the Senate passed the bill on Tuesday.
The House Rules Committee acts as the final gatekeeper before most pieces of legislation get a chamber-wide vote. (Fox News) Read more.

- Abba, we give You praise and thanksgiving that President Trump's Big Beautiful Bill was approved by the Senate and sent back to the House for a final vote. We ask You to speak to the heart of each House member, bring their hearts into alignment with Yours so that this bill will contain exactly what You intended. Holy Spirit pour out Your peace over the House chamber as all debates and votes are taken, bring Your insight, wisdom and understanding so that all is done to bring Your perfect will for our nation into being. We ask this in the name El Shaddai, God Almighty, that God who has power over all things.
- But the Lord says: "Now I will stand up.
Now I will show my power and might."

Travel nightmare unfolds as storm system grounds East Coast flights ahead of July 4
|
|
Flights across the country were halted Tuesday as severe thunderstorms were expected to batter the East Coast, affecting millions of travelers close to the holiday weekend.
Ground stops and delays were issued at Newark Liberty International Airport and LaGuardia Airport in the New York City area, as well as at airports in Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and Orlando, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Scattered storms, excessive rainfall and flooding were expected in the northeast, the National Weather Service (NWS) said. The NWS expects up to three inches of rain along the East Coast.
On Monday, Newark Liberty Airport, which has been plagued by disruptions due to ongoing staffing shortages, experienced delays of a whopping four hours due to thunderstorms, with the interruptions expected to affect flights until 2 a.m.
Philadelphia International Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport began experiencing delays this week, with bad weather continuing to wreak havoc on flights as they moved through the area.
Collectively, five airports logged about 600 cancellations and 1,900 delays, according to data from FlightAware. (Fox News) Read more here.

|
- Abba, have mercy on our country! We ask You to intervene in the weather patterns that are bringing such chaos to our east coast airports. We ask You to break up the lightning storms, scatter them so they can no longer cause ground stops and cancellations. We ask Your favor on all who are traveling this weekend, tear down the plans of the enemy to keep families and friends from gathering to celebrate our nation's birthday! Guide and direct Your intercessors' prayers to bring honor and glory to Your name! We ask this in the mighty name Jehovah Jireh, The Lord Will Provide.
- "Cry out for insight, and ask
for understanding."

Israel accepts Trump-led ceasefire plan that could end Gaza war within 60 days
|
|
Israel has agreed to a proposal led by the Trump administration for a 60-day ceasefire, during which time President Donald Trump said all parties will work to end the war in the Middle East.
"My Representatives had a long and productive meeting with the Israelis today on Gaza," Trump said in a post on Truth Social on Tuesday. "Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions to finalize the 60 Day CEASEFIRE, during which time we will work with all parties to end the War.
"The Qataris and Egyptians, who have worked very hard to help bring Peace, will deliver this final proposal," Trump added. "I hope, for the good of the Middle East, that Hamas takes this Deal, because it will not get better — IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"
Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa'ar said Monday, "Israel is serious in its will to reach a hostage deal and ceasefire in Gaza."
He pointed to Jerusalem’s acceptance of a recent proposal presented by Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, but which Hamas rejected as it did not include a solution to a permanent ceasefire and a plan to withdraw Israeli forces from Gaza.
Witkoff is expected to head to Cairo in the coming days to begin hashing out new negotiations. (Fox News) Read more here.

|
- Abba, Your people Israel need Your help. We are asking You to intervene in the ceasefire with Hamas, we ask for Your perfect will to be done in all aspects of this agreement. We ask Holy Spirit to speak to the hearts of those in Hamas who are responsible for making final decisions, reveal to them the consequences of turning away from completing this agreement, show them the results of not keeping their word once the ceasefire content is agreed upon. We ask all of this in the name El Roi, The Lord Who Sees everything.

and takes precautions.
The simpleton goes blindly on and
suffers the consequences."

Netanyahu will visit the White House next Monday as Trump presses for a ceasefire in Gaza
|
|
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump will host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for talks at the White House next Monday as the U.S. leader steps up his push on the Israeli government and Hamas to broker a ceasefire and hostage agreement and bring about an end to the war in Gaza.
The impending visit was confirmed by two U.S. administration officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to comment publicly on it.
The trip will be Netanyahu’s third visit to the White House since Trump returned to office in January, and it comes after the United States inserted itself into Israel’s war against Iran by attacking Iranian nuclear sites. After brokering a ceasefire between the two countries, Trump has signaled that he’s turning his attention to bringing a close to the fighting between Israel and Hamas.
Trump on Friday told reporters that “we think within the next week we’re going to get a ceasefire” in Gaza, but didn’t offer any further explanation for his optimism.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Monday that Trump and administration officials were in constant communication with Israeli leadership and that bringing about an end to the Gaza conflict is a priority for Trump.
“It’s heartbreaking to see the images that have come out from both Israel and Gaza throughout this war, and the president wants to see it end,” Leavitt added. “He wants to save lives.” (AP) Read more here.

- Abba, we give You praise and thanksgiving for the relationship between President Trump and PM Netanyahu. We ask You to protect them from any plans the enemy might have to fracture or break the trust that has been developed. We ask for truth and transparency to be the foundation of any and all plans created to bring the rest of the hostages home and to end the conflict with Hamas. Father God, You know exactly what is required for this to happen, we ask You to give words of knowledge, wisdom and vision during the negotiations between these three groups, bring to fruition the intentions You have put on President Trump's heart to bring the hostages home and for peace in the Middle East. We ask this in the name El Gibhor, Mighty God, the God who will accomplish the destruction of his enemies.

3. Hamas expected to respond to hostage deal in next 24 hours after Israel gives green light - sources - Jerusalem Post
Following Israel’s green light for the Qatari hostage deal proposal, which is essentially the Witkoff framework with some modifications, officials in Israel, the US, and the mediating countries are now awaiting Hamas’s response.
"For the first time, there is real optimism that Hamas will say ‘yes,’" two sources familiar with the talks told The Jerusalem Post. An Israeli official also confirmed that there is a growing belief that this time, Hamas may accept the deal. "Qatar is applying immense pressure on the group," the sources added.
In a Truth Social post published Wednesday morning, former President Donald Trump warned Hamas, saying: "I hope, for the sake of the Middle East, that Hamas takes the deal—because if not, things will only get worse for them, not better."
The current proposal on the table includes the release of 10 Israeli hostages: eight on the first day and two on Day 50, as well as the return of 18 bodies of murdered Israeli hostages. In exchange, there would be a two-month ceasefire, during which negotiations would take place over a permanent end to the war, with each side presenting its demands at the table. (Read more)

Last week, the Iranian parliament voted to suspend cooperation with the IAEA “until the safety and security of [the country’s] nuclear activities can be guaranteed.”

1. Louisiana Still Has Ten Commandments In Schools Despite ACLU Lawsuit - Million Voices
Mainstream corporate news media and the American Civil Liberties Union is misrepresenting a recent ruling by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans on the display of Ten Commandments in all classrooms.
The law was called “plainly unconstitutional” by a three-judge panel, who unanimously voted to try and shut down the law, according to Reuters. While the ruling technically blocks Louisiana from enforcing a law requiring the display of the Ten Commandments in public schools and universities, an estimated 95% of schools have already put up the displays and are not taking them down.
Reuters called the ruling a “victory for parents and students who accused Louisiana of trampling on their religious rights.” However, the Ten Commandments was part of U.S. educational curriculum up until roughly 50 years ago, which begs the question: are these students and teachers simply victims of propaganda and manipulation by those who seek to eradicate the truth of America’s history — and the history of Western civilization? The answer doesn’t really matter, as the case will now move up through the courts, with Louisiana Republican attorney general Liz Murrill saying she will take the case all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary. (Read more)
- Dear God, thank you for giving us fighters like Liz Murrill and all those working to bring Your law – the Ten Commandments – back to the normal educational curriculum of America’s children. We pray that you strike down every attempt to block Your word from reaching their ears. Please shine Your light upon every educator in this great nation and show them that without You, there is no future for our children. In Your Name, Amen.

2. Apologetics Author Asks Simple Question Of Young People & Faith; The Response Is Overwhelming - Million Voices
Apologetics author Dr. Frank Turek asked a simple question in June: “Why do you think Christianity is becoming more popular among young people?” The responses Turek received were incredible, insightful, and we thought we’d share some of them with you today. “While our generation grew up in a time of great sin, the wages had not been paid and the younger generations see the bill is due and only Christ can pay it,” wrote someone who goes by the name Andy Buksterlin.
“Because it’s true. In a new technological age such as this one, it’s seemingly impossible to tell fact from fiction. We have all the information at our fingertips, but don’t know what or who to trust. But, just like our forefathers understood, so do we. It’s in God we trust,” said user Ryan Hurst.
One of the longest replies came from an anonymous user, which we edited for grammatical purposes, but nothing else. “Young people today are starving for purpose, not attention, not pleasure, not even success, purpose. and the world offers everything except that. Every screen, hookup, and achievement leaves them more empty. They’re waking up, but many are being led right into deception,” they wrote. “It starts with the men. We were made to lead, to protect, to build for something bigger than ourselves. and when a man realizes he’s been chasing shadows, he starts searching for the light. but too many are landing in churches that preach comfort over conviction. emotion over repentance. Prosperity over purpose.” (Read more)
- Dear Father God, we pray for every young person in America today, and around the world, who is turning to You or away from You. We hope You will continue to guide them toward the salvation only You can offer, and the truth that shines in all darkness. As every child is born with the sin of Adam, we pray you will help us all in guiding each child into Your arms as we raise them. Amen.
- “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth.” (Ecclesiastes 12:1)

3. ‘Testament’ Director Is Creating A Cultural Revolution With A Beautiful Retelling Of The Book Of Acts - Million Voices
“Testament” is the new and already hit series from Angel Studios, offering a gritty, innovative retelling of the Book of Acts. Million Voices spoke with the show’s creator-writer-director Paul Syrstad in June about the first two episodes, which bring the viewer into the depths of a world reeling from the resurrection of Christ … and let’s be honest, aren’t we all still somewhat reeling from this, the greatest gift our Father ever gave us?
Syrstad looks straight out of college when we hop on our video call; fresh faced and ready to share his passion and purpose in a way so many younger Christians are finding in our ever-growing Great Revival. Having been raised in the U.K. in a secular family, I was personally shocked when the trailer for “Testament” dropped. Since Christ found me a little over a decade ago, it’s been an uphill battle to reintroduce myself to a largely secular population. But clearly, something revolutionary is happening within the British Isles, and Syrstad has no idea he’s at the forefront of it — in the most humble and endearing way possible.
And, more than anything, I’m immediately aware of my own Biblical illiteracy (in the best, most inspiring way). “One of my mentors Hugh Osgood prayed for the death of nominalism and I think that’s come to pass, so we may see it as there aren’t as many Christians, but it’s clearer now: everyone who has engaged in this show is really excited. Church screenings, and celebrating Christ’s word, and I feel something birthing something here. We’ve been blown away by the Church responses, blown away, and excited. We’re still pushing the rock up the hill in getting the overall Church to engage in a whole new way with our faith, and in my hope is good. Quite wonderful, actually.” (Read more)
- Dear Lord, let everyone on this Earth know You, love You, and feel Your love as we move into new ways of bringing the truth to the masses. We have already seen millions of minds turned toward You thanks to new forms of communication. Please allow us, Your flock, to rise above the noise, damage, and evil of mainstream entertainment, and bring Your light back to our screens. Let everyone who pursues You, find You. Let everyone who needs You, find You. Let all those who feel that space in their soul, fill it with You. In Your Name, Amen.
- "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)

Stupidocrisy: The Coup We Lived Through
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, July 2, 2025
As we approach Independence Day, let’s talk about a recent revolution. America, once a beacon of representative government, was quietly overthrown in 2020 by unelected socialist Democrats who knew Joe Biden was mentally and physically incapable of executing the Office of President. Like Soviet-era Russia, they propagandized with a straight face. They, the media, and many within the government were complicit. Unelected advisors, bureaucrats, and handlers ran the country behind the face of Joe Biden. They undermined the Constitutional Republic with their brand of democracy, denying and attacking whistleblowers. America was under authoritarian rule by a ruling class that no longer feared the will of the people.
The signs were there. The so-called “victory” of Biden in 2020 set off alarms for anyone with a shred of historical perspective. Biden’s total—81.2 million votes—was nearly 16 million more than the average of Bush, Obama, and Trump over the past two decades, and he did this without a real campaign, from his basement, in the middle of a pandemic. That number now looks like the statistical equivalent of Bigfoot riding a unicorn. Especially when Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party’s anointed candidate without a single primary vote, couldn’t even sniff Biden’s vote count in 2024. She lost to Trump by 5 million votes. That’s a 12 million vote swing from Biden’s 2020 “support.” Where did those people go? This is where you connect the dots. Trump supporters have been hammered for years as “election deniers.” Read More

Trump Tours Florida’s New Illegal-Alien ‘Alcatraz,’ Where Guards Take ‘Form of Alligators’
|
|
|
President Donald Trump toured a new detention center for illegal aliens referred to as “Alligator Alcatraz” in the Florida Everglades on Tuesday.
“I mean, you don’t always have land so beautiful and so secure,” Trump said of the location of the detention facility after stepping off Air Force One in Florida.
“They have a lot of bodyguards and a lot of cops that are the form of alligators. You don’t have to pay them so much,” Trump said with a smile. “But I wouldn’t want to run through the Everglades for long. We’ll keep people where they’re supposed to be.”
“It might be as good as the real Alcatraz,” Trump said of the facility, referring to a long-closed prison in San Francisco Bay.
The detention center currently can hold 3,000 illegal aliens, but Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who accompanied the president on his tour, said the goal is to quickly process the illegal aliens through the facility. Florida’s primary National Guard facility, six hours north of the Everglades, will hold 2,000 additional detained illegal aliens.
“We’re offering up our National Guard and other folks in Florida to be deputized to be immigration judges,” DeSantis said. Once approved by the Department of Justice, “I’ll have a National Guard judge advocate here,” he added.
“Someone has a notice to appear, [President Joe Biden] would tell them to come back in three years and appear” for a hearing, DeSantis said. “Now, you’ll be able to appear in, like, a day or two, so they’re not going to be detained, hopefully, for all that long” before being deported. - Father God,
We thank you for the wisdom and discernment of President Trump and his administration. We thank you for providing a Detention Facility with the name of 'Alcatraz' in Florida to hold 3,000 illegal aliens as they are quickly processed and deported to their own countries of origin. Thank you, Lord, for Governor Ron Desantis for working with the Trump Administration and offering Florida's primary National Guard Facility that can hold an additional 2,000 more illegal aliens. Move quickly, Father, to allow the Dept of Justice to deputize the National Guard and others as immigration judges. Let many more states follow Florida's lead to do the same.. Forgive us, Father, for allowing past administrations to open our borders to undocumented aliens. America is a nation of laws and there are rules set in place for those who want to come to our nation legally, and as a nation of immigrants we welcome that. Lord we ask for protection for the guards and staff at 'Alcatraz'. Protect them from any wickedness that should try to overtake them. Send your warrior angels to serve as the 'alligators surrounding this Detention Facility! ' In Jesus' name. Amen.
- "Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has estab;lished. The authorities that exist have been established by God. For the one in authority is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. For they are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment to the wrongdoer." (Romans 13:1,4)

Rocky Road Ahead for ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ After Senate Triumph
|
|
|
After the Senate’s narrow 51-50 passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act on Tuesday, with Vice President JD Vance’s tiebreaking vote, Republican senators celebrated finally getting the massive 10-year fiscal framework across the finish line there.
The bill passed the Senate despite the “no” votes from Republican Sens. Rand Paul of Kentucky, Susan Collins of Maine, and Thom Tillis of North Carolina.
Senate leadership spent plenty of time talking to Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, who was one of the three Republicans who helped kill another GOP 10-year budget bill back in 2018, but she ultimately fell in line this time.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., explained to reporters that “it’s a collaborative process,” when asked how he was able to get Murkowski on board with the bill.
The budget bill included provisions that provided a tax exemption for fishermen in Western Alaska, allowed some whaling captains to deduct more of their expenses, and put more federal dollars behind Alaskan health care providers.
Will the House of Representatives Kill It?
Now, the House Republican leadership is in a mad dash to get the Senate’s version of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act to Trump’s desk by July 4.
The narrow margin in the Senate, as well as Trump’s insistence on the Independence Day deadline, will apply a lot of pressure on House Republicans to vote “yes.”
But it won’t be easy. Multiple members of the fiscal hawk House Freedom Caucus are currently speaking harshly of the bill, saying it grows deficits and maintains parts of President Joe Biden’s legacy, such as green energy subsidies and an ever-growing welfare state.
Freedom Caucus members have so far gone along with party leadership’s efforts, despite their vocal reservations, but this time they sound serious about their complaints.
“I’ve not heard one person irrefutably tell me that there are not going to be higher deficits over the next five years as a result of this bill,” Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, said shortly after its passage. (Daily Signal) Read more here.

- Lord God, over the past years, whenever Congress needs to pass budget legislation, the process is always complicated and difficult. This year, dear Lord, we ask for an extra measure of grace to rest upon the members of the House of Representatives as they work now to complete this task for this year. With 435 members, each lobbying for their own constituents' needs in their own states, it will take a miracle to complete this task, so Lord God, we turn to You now, asking
for this miracle to take place in the Halls of Congress today.. In Your Name, Holy One, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.
- "Nothing is too difficult for God." (Jeremiah 32:17)

What’s in the Senate-Passed
Big Beautiful Bill?
|
|
|
The Senate passed its version of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act on July 1, with Vice President JD Vance casting the deciding vote.
The mammoth bill, which is more than 940 pages, was the result of weeks of intraparty and bicameral negotiations among House and Senate Republicans.
The legislation would implement sweeping changes to U.S. policy and funding over a 10-year period in order to carry out President Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” agenda.
The bill now returns to the House, where a vote is expected on July 3. Trump hopes for the final passage of the bill by July 4.
Here are the main components of the bill:
2017 Tax Cuts Extended
Child Tax Credit Boosted
Taxes on Overtime, Car Loans, Tips Reduced
Before the bill’s passage in the Senate, House Freedom Caucus Chairman Andy Harris, R-Md., told The Daily Signal that if the Senate’s framework increased deficits beyond the House’s version, they would find a way to stop it without killing the whole budget effort.
“I know there are a group of members who will either insist that the only vote they’ll take is to go to conference on it, or that we will just not approve the rule to bring it to debate,” he said.
In conference, lawmakers from both houses would sort out the differences.
He added, “Both of those options actually keep the bill alive, because obviously, if we voted down the bill, then we’d have to start at ground zero with regards to redoing this reconciliation effort.”
Meanwhile, House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., is advocating the Senate bill’s passage, while acknowledging that the Senate changed it a “little further than many of us would have preferred” in breaking from the House’s plan.
“My objective and my responsibility is to get that bill over the line,” he said Tuesday. “So, we will do everything possible to do that.” (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

Editor's note:
Before any bill can be sent to the President, it has to "go to conference."
In the conference, members from both sides of the Hill are seated, behind closed doors, to merge the two original documents (House and Senate) into one bill to present to the President.
This is necessary because, at the end of the day, on any issue, the language in the two bills are never identical. "Conference" makes that happen.
|
|
- Father God, as we carefully examine the two versions now present in the Big Beautiful Bill, we do see significant differences in their language. Again, dear Lord, we ask for a miracle to happen in Congress TODAY, so that the final bill will make it to the finish line on time.
- "Nothing is too difficult for God." (Jeremiah 32:17)

UPenn, Trump Admin Reach Deal to Strip Transgender Swimmer of Past Titles and Awards
|
|
|
The transgender swimmer who won an NCAA Division I crown in the women’s category in 2022 was stripped of that championship medal and all records as a female competitor at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) under the school’s recent agreement with the Department of Education, officials announced.
The resolution agreement signed by UPenn administrators requires the school to prohibit males from competing in female athletic programs or occupying women’s bathrooms or locker rooms. It must also make a personal, written apology to every female swimmer who competed against the transgender athlete, Lia Thomas.
“Today is a great victory for women and girls not only at the University of Pennsylvania, but all across our nation,” Education Secretary Linda McMahon said in a July 1 news release. “The department commends UPenn for rectifying its past harms against women and girls, and we will continue to fight relentlessly to restore Title IX’s proper application and enforce it to the fullest extent of the law.”
President Donald Trump issued an executive order earlier this year prohibiting males from competing in women’s sports. He cited the Title IX laws of 1972 that protected women’s sports. In April, the Trump administration suspended $175 million in federal aid to UPenn and said the school would lose additional federal funding unless Thomas’s titles were relinquished.
Riley Gaines, a former Kentucky women’s swimmer who competed against Thomas, and Paula Scanlan, a former teammate of Thomas who had to share a locker room with the transgender athlete, have lobbied against male participation in women’s sports. “From Day 1, President Trump and Secretary McMahon vowed to protect women and girls, and today’s agreement with UPenn is a historic display of that promise being fulfilled,” Gaines said in a press release. “This administration does not just pay lip service to women’s equality: it vigorously insists on that equality being upheld.”
UPenn released a statement acknowledging the agreement and Title IX obligations.
“Penn remains committed to fostering a community that is welcoming, inclusive, and open to all students, faculty, and staff,” UPenn President J. Larry Jameson said in a July 1 news release. “I share this commitment, just as I remain dedicated to preserving and advancing the university’s vital and enduring mission. “We have now brought to a close an investigation that, if unresolved, could have had significant and lasting implications for the University of Pennsylvania.” (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Father God, we shout a loud HALLELUJAH at this report! It is written that "male and female" He created them; and there is no "in between."' Thank you, Father God, that more and more, we see the Trump administration standing for TRUTH and casting down the chaos of our age. Amen.

Americans at July 4th celebrations warned of lone wolf terrorist threat
|
|
|
Local and federal authorities across the country are likely preparing for potential threats during Fourth of July celebrations next weekend amid tensions between the United States and the Middle East, according to a former U.S. Secret Service agent.
Tensions escalated on June 22, when the U.S. Military bombed three key nuclear sites in Iran, according to Trump administration officials.
"Due to the Iran conflict, the Department of Homeland Security has a National Threat Advisory System, and as of June 22, we are at a heightened threat environment," Michael Verden, founder and CEO of security firm The Lake Forest Group, told Fox News Digital. "That level will stay in place until September 22, and it could be extended based on the conflict in Iran."
Verden, a former USSS agent and law enforcement officer, added that certain 4th of July activities and travel will see increased security and precautionary measures "because of this heightened threat environment."
DHS said in a June 22 bulletin that "Iran also has a long-standing commitment to target US Government officials it views as responsible for the death of an Iranian military commander killed in January 2020."
"The likelihood of violent extremists in the Homeland independently mobilizing to violence in response to the conflict would likely increase if Iranian leadership issued a religious ruling calling for retaliatory violence against targets in the Homeland," DHS said. "Multiple recent Homeland terrorist attacks have been motivated by anti-Semitic or anti-Israel sentiment, and the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict could contribute to US-based individuals plotting additional attacks."
Federal intelligence officials, meanwhile, will try to proactively identify and stop any emerging threats "associated with the homeland, and a 4th of July event is definitely associated with the homeland," Verden said.
The former USSS agent also said law enforcement will put a heavy emphasis on "access control," which includes everything from verifying credentials at admission for an event, checking bags, checking parked vehicles for explosives, looking out for suspicious activity and so on.
"If there was some type of suspicious activity, do you have tactical units to respond to … a group of people that seems suspicious, or other assets such as explosives? They call it explosives ordinance disposal, which is EOD. So, if someone found a backpack that was unattended, do you have canine assets, or do you have EOD teams to respond to that?" Verden explained. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord of angel armies, we come before your throne to ask for divine protection over America and her people not only for the 4th of July celebrations but for eternity!. Give us wisdom to be on the alert for those who seek to do us harm. Thank you for our Homeland Security team who will be watching over America through the National Threat Advisory System. We ask you, Father, to heal the minds of the violent extremists who seek to cause us harm. Stop them in their tracks before evil takes place! Protect President Trump and his administration as they watch over America. Give America the eyes and swiftness of the eagle to be able to spot extremists from afar. Make us quick to report and take down any evil that would try and take place in our nation! We decree that God, you alone, are the only God of America and you watch over us! In Jesus' name, Amen.
- "So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. All who rage against you you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be nothing at all." (Isaiah 41:10-12 )

SpaceX rocket sets reuse record on
500th Falcon 9 launch
|
|
SpaceX launched its 500th Falcon 9 rocket on early this morning (July 2) and broke its own reuse record in the process.
The milestone mission lifted off with 27 Starlink satellites at 2:28 a.m. EDT (0628 GMT) on Wednesday from Space Launch Complex 40 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The rocket entered space about nine minutes after leaving the ground and deployed the new units for SpaceX's broadband internet network 55 minutes later.
On the way to orbit, the Falcon 9's most-flown first stage, Booster 1067, separated from its upper stage and flew back to a landing on the drone ship "A Shortfall of Gravitas" in the Atlantic Ocean. It was the 29th successful recovery for this stage, three more than any other in SpaceX's fleet.
It was 472nd Falcon 9 first stage landing since December 2015, and the 439th reuse of of a SpaceX rocket.
The 27 satellites (Group 10-25) added to the more than 7,900 active Starlink relays in low Earth orbit. The megaconstellation — the largest in history — provides broadband internet access and limited direct to cell service in remote areas around the world. (Space.com) Read More
