A Jacksonville, Florida church is reporting a historic turnout after 2,552 people stepped into the Atlantic Ocean to be baptized as they publicly declared their faith in Jesus Christ. The powerful moment is yet another sign of spiritual awakening in America as thousands are born again and baptized in event after event from coast to coast. This time, The Church of Eleven22 saw more than 14,000 churchgoers, family members, and supporters show up at Hanna Park over the weekend to cheer for those who were taking a major faith step in their walk with God.
The beach was once again filled with worship, prayer, celebration, and the joy of the Lord in the latest stunning beach baptism from The Church of Eleven22, which has seen several massive baptisms over the past few years. Hegseth says US 'more than capable' of resuming Iran strikes after Trump Situation Room meeting
|
|
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said Saturday that the “ironclad” U.S. military blockade of Iranian ports has “put the real pressure on Iran.”
Speaking in Singapore, Hegseth said the blockade, which began on April 13, is “very much still in place.”
"They want to say that they control the strait, but we do, and everything behind the scenes shows that we are in control when it comes to that, including how the dynamics of the negotiation are coming together,” Hegseth said regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
“I mean, this is a high-stakes negotiation. We've got the best negotiator in the world leading it. Iran may not want to give up their nuclear ambitions, but we believe at the table they can and will over time, given the right set of incentives,” Hegseth later said. “But the most incentive is the capabilities we have there right now, which they can't ultimately defend against at any real level, so those are decisions in the future the president will make based on how this ends, but I feel confident that he'll get to a deal that serves the interests of the American people.”

Federal Judge Temporarily Blocks DOJ’s ‘Anti-Weaponization’ Fund
|
|
A federal judge in Virginia on Friday temporarily blocked the Department of Justice (DOJ) from initiating plans to create a $1.776 “anti-weaponization” fund that would compensate what the Trump administration says are people who were unfairly targeted by the government in investigations.
In a two-page order, U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema wrote that the DOJ is precluded from taking action on the “creation or operation of the Anti-Weaponization Fund, which includes the transferring of money to the Fund; the consideration of any claims submitted to the Fund; and the disbursing of any funds from the Fund.”
The judge also said that the order is designed to “ensure that no funds are irreversibly disbursed from the Anti-Weaponization Fund.” (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

Lord, we pray that this temporary ruling will not stand during appeal. The fund in question was created to assist those who were targeted by the Biden administration’s DOJ. Hundreds of thousands of dollars were spent by ordinary people to fight the charges pushed by the Democrats.

Federal judge orders Trump's name removed from Kennedy Center, says only Congress can rename it
|
|
A federal judge on Friday ordered that President Donald Trump's name be removed from the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper, an Obama appointee, said the iconic venue cannot be renamed without an act of Congress, ruling that the Kennedy Center Board of Trustees overstepped its "statutory bounds by unilaterally renaming" the building.
As part of his ruling, the Trump administration will be required to take down all physical signage bearing Trump’s name and eliminate any references to a "Trump-Kennedy Center" from official materials.
"The Kennedy Center’s organic statute makes crystal clear that the Center is to be named for President Kennedy, and it cannot bear any other formal name or public memorial based on the Board’s unilateral say-so," Cooper wrote. "Congress gave the Kennedy Center its name, and only Congress can change it."
Roma Daravi, the Trump Kennedy Center vice president of public relations, said the board plans to appeal the decision.
"We will review the decision carefully though the reality remains — the Center requires an urgent and significant restoration – a truth that even the plaintiff acknowledges," Daravi said. "With $257 million secured by President Trump and approved by Congress, the resources are in place and we remain committed to pursuing every lawful avenue to ensure the Trump Kennedy Center is restored as a national cultural landmark for all Americans to enjoy." Lord, we pray for more equitable answer to this controversy. President Trump may turn the Center over to Congress to rename it. This judge did not allow the Center trustees to rename the Center, which was a blow to the President’s heart. His plan was to renovate the Center.

The OAS Is in Hot Water Again - This Time over Corruption
|
|
The Organization of American States (OAS) is the premier political, judicial, and social forum of the Americas, born out of a dream of Pan-American unity with the United States serving as the regional hegemon. Founded in 1948, the organization comprises 35 independent nations and rests upon four fundamental pillars: democracy, human rights, multidimensional security, and integral development.
As we can observe, corruption is not among them.
Yet, an internal memorandum from the Trump administration is now demanding an independent investigation into the tenure of Albert Ramdin as OAS assistant secretary general, alleging potential administrative irregularities, nepotism, and the misuse of resources within the supranational body.
The news portal Infobae, which first brought the memorandum to light, describes a “credibility crisis” within the organization and directly calls into question the rise of Xaviera Jessurun — a compatriot and close advisor to Ramdin — who is currently under investigation in Suriname for alleged corruption, fraud, and money laundering.

1. Netanyahu orders deeper Israeli incursion into Lebanon to hit Hezbollah - Reuters
JERUSALEM/BEIRUT, May 31 (Reuters) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered troops to move further into Lebanon in the battle against the Iranian-backed Hezbollah militant group, he said on Sunday, despite a ceasefire announced more than six weeks ago.
The fighting in Lebanon has been the broadest spillover of the Iran war, displacing more than 1.2 million Lebanese through Israeli strikes and evacuation orders since March 2, when Hezbollah began firing rockets and drones into Israel to back its ally Iran.
The incursion has so far killed more than 3,370 people, according to the Lebanese government. Israel says 24 of its soldiers and four civilians have been killed over the same period. Tens of thousands of Israelis in the country's north have also been displaced by Hezbollah rockets and drones. (Read more)

Senior Israeli officials have appealed to senior US officials to allow the IDF to expand the strikes in Beirut, two sources told The Jerusalem Post on Sunday.
According to the sources, Israeli officials are hopeful that, given the lack of progress in both the negotiations between Washington and Tehran and the talks between Israel and Lebanon, the US response will be favorable.
Early Monday morning, UK Foreign Minister Yvette Cooper called on Israel to halt its Lebanon operations, saying, "It must end."
"Israel's military escalation in Lebanon has killed and displaced civilians, destroyed infrastructure, and eroded space for diplomacy," said Cooper. (Read more)

3. Israel shuts schools near Lebanon border amid repeated Hezbollah rocket, drone attacks - Times of Israel
Schools in towns and cities near the border with Lebanon were shuttered starting Sunday, as the IDF Home Front Command tightened its restrictions in light of intensified Hezbollah drone and rocket attacks on northern Israel over the weekend.
No educational activities were taking place in communities along the Lebanon border, including Kiryat Shmona, as well as Meron, Bar Yohai, Or HaGanuz, Safsufa, Yesud HaMa’ala, Kisra-Sumei, Beit Jann and Sde Eliezer.
In the Upper Galilee and northern Golan, along with Katzrin and Kidmat Tzvi, educational activities were permitted only inside a building or in an area where a shelter can be reached in time, according to the guidelines issued Saturday evening. (Read more)

4. Report submitted to AG warns Ben Gvir may use police to meddle in upcoming election - Times of Israel
A report recently submitted to Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara by the Zulat Institute for Equality and Human Rights points to potential dangers to freedom of expression and freedom of protest in Israel’s approaching election campaign.
The report called for the urgent formulation of new restrictions on the Israel Police, which is controlled by far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, that would prevent it from carrying out actions that could undermine the integrity, fairness, and freedom of the elections.
The report, written by Zulat CEO Einat Ovadia and attorney Eitay Mack, alleges a recurring pattern of “improper operational intervention by National Security Minister Ben Gvir over the past three and a half years in enforcement and the use of force in cases involving demonstrations and incitement offenses.” (Read more)

5. ‘You will not intimidate us’: Knesset Speaker and delegation attend Israel Parade amid Mamdani boycott - World Israel News
Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana on Sunday accused New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani of “despicably fueling the flames of hatred in the city against Israel and its Jewish residents” as he led an expanded Israeli parliamentary delegation at the annual Israel Day Parade in New York.
Ohana, a member of Likud, attended the event alongside 13 lawmakers from both the coalition and opposition after Mamdani chose not to attend the parade, the first time a New York City Mayor has done so since 1964.
According to the Knesset, the decision by the mayor led Ohana to increase the size of the delegation and participate personally in order to “express complete and uncompromising unity in Israel’s strength against its enemies at home and abroad.” (Read more)

1. Judge clears Trump’s voter citizenship checks and mail-in voting crackdown, slapping down Democrats - Just the News
A federal judge on Thursday cleared the way for President Donald Trump to implement his executive order tightening mail-in voting, slapping down Democrats’ arguments for now that federal efforts to police voter rolls with citizenship checks was illegal.
U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols, a Trump appointed jurist, ruled that Democrats failed to show they have standing at present to challenge the order or have suffered any harm that would warrant a preliminary injunction.
"Given that the Executive Order does not command Plaintiffs to do anything, and that no agency has yet acted pursuant to the Order in a way that could harm Plaintiffs, they have not suffered any harm at present," the judge wrote.

Nichols rejected several of the Democrats' arguments that Trump’s executive order could disenfranchise millions of voters, including that creating state-by-state citizenship lists to check voter rolls would somehow be harmful, even if they were inaccurate. (Read more)

2. U.S. State Department to Designate Brazil’s Top Criminal Gangs as Terrorist Groups - Breitbart
The State Department will announce on Thursday that it is planning to designate Brazil’s two most powerful organized criminal syndicates, the Comando Vermelho (Red Command) and Primeiro Comando da Capital (First Capital Command, or PCC), as Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGTs) and Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs).
The designations impose onerous sanctions on the gangs and their members, block them from keeping their assets in the United States or freeze assets already in the country, and make it illegal for American citizens to offer material support to them. In a statement on Thursday, the State Department explained that the PCC and Red Command pose a significant security threat both in Brazil and internationally and engage in violent narco-terrorism throughout South America, meriting the designation.
The designations will become effective on June 5.
“Together, they command thousands of members and have orchestrated brutal attacks against Brazilian police officers, public officials, and civilians,” the State Department explained of the two syndicates. “Their influence and illicit networks extend far beyond Brazil’s borders, across our region and into our country.” (Read more)

3. Mullin’s Proposal To Pull Customs From Airports Gets Mixed Reviews- Daily Wire
Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin said the Trump administration is drafting plans to stop processing foreign travelers at airports located in sanctuary cities, but the possible change has some former officials questioning the political implications.
Mullin revealed on “Hannity” Tuesday night that officials are “currently drawing up plans” to pull Customs officers from international airports in jurisdictions that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement efforts amid escalating anti-ICE protests outside a facility in Newark, New Jersey.
He then doubled down Thursday, telling Fox News host Brian Kilmeade that while his department won’t “halt” international flights, it will pull Customs officers away from processing those passengers as they attempt to enter the United States.
“When we have situations like what’s happening in New Jersey right now, when we have to prioritize where we put federal employees because local law enforcement won’t help protect their streets … and keep them from barricading and causing harm to our employees, then we have to decide where we’re going to prioritize our federal employees,” Mullin said. 4. 'Full coverup mode': Lawmakers want answers on 'virus smuggling' to federal lab, alleged monkey bite- Just the News
Sen. Tim Sheehy, R-Montana, urged Department of Health and Human Services Inspector General March Bell to immediately investigate "safety, security, and personnel practices at RML," a BSL-4 facility on the west side of Montana near the Idaho border that conducts federal research on the most dangerous pathogens in the world, including newly resurgent Ebola.
He cited a whistleblower complaint alleging employee misconduct and the National Institutes of Health's acknowledgment of "theft, loss, or release of a pathogen" twice in the past year at RML, part of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, warning that "even small lapses could put Montana communities at risk."
"We don’t want Montana to be the next Wuhan," Sheehy wrote on X this week, referring to the suspected geographic origin in China of COVID-19. The IG's office didn't answer a query for its response to Sheehy.
Sheehy's interest was piqued two weeks ago by President Trump whisperer Laura Loomer's interview with Justin Goodman of the anti-animal testing White Coat Waste Project about an "NIH cover up involving biological sabotage and Ebola infected monkeys in Montana," as alleged by an anonymous tell-all received by WCW. 5. Dead voter allegation fuels concerns about voting safeguards as blue state official turns herself in - Fox News
Illinois GOP Chairman Bob Grogan is calling on a Democratic Waukegan city official to resign after prosecutors said she submitted her dead mother’s vote-by-mail ballot, a case conservatives say exposes broader concerns about mail-in voting and voter-roll safeguards even though the ballot was caught before it was counted.
A Waukegan, Illinois alderman, Sylvia Sims Bolton, turned herself in on Wednesday after prosecutors said she submitted her dead mother’s vote-by-mail ballot during a March primary election, which has resulted in two charges, including one Class 4 Felony.
According to the Office of the State's Attorney in Lake County, Illinois, a vote-by-mail ballot for Mary Sims, Bolton's late mother, was issued in the first tranche of ballots to go out from the Lake County Clerk's Office in February. Just days later, however, the same office processed the cancellation of Mary Sims' voter registration after receiving notification of her passing from the Illinois Department of Public Health via the state's Board of Elections voter registration system.
“A dead person voting, that you're actually aware that they're dead, is the easiest voter fraud to find. It's like somebody leaning over the cash register and grabbing the cash out of the till," Grogan told Fox News Digital. "But the complicated stuff, the behind-the-scenes stuff, that’s something that is harder to find … This is a one-off incident and if fraudsters do it right, it could be many, many more votes like this. Lord God of Justice, as Democrats claim that voter fraud “doesn’t exist,” this situation proves that it does. We pray that You will root out all kinds of voter fraud across the United States. We ask that You bring repentance to all who are involved.

6. Vance Task Force Thinks U.S. ‘Could Balance the Federal Budget’ with What Fraudsters Have Stolen – The Washington Stand
The White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud is revealing that the scale of fraud committed by foreigners in the U.S. has deprived American taxpayers of hundreds of billions of dollars. The task force, led by Vice President J.D. Vance, hosted a round table event this week, revealing that billions of dollars in fraud have been uncovered just in the past several weeks.
“In just two months, we exposed billions of dollars in benefits that have been stolen from the American people,” Vance announced. “We referred over $22 billion in fraudulent small business loans back to the Treasury for collection. We deferred more than $1.3 billion in fraudulent Medicaid reimbursements that were coming from various states, particularly California.”
The vice president reported that the Task Force had recovered taxpayer dollars stolen in a $135 billion COVID-19 fraud scheme and more than $6 billion in fraudulent government contracts. Vance affirmed that the Task Force believes “that we’re protecting two classes of victims here. We’re protecting the American taxpayers who shouldn’t have their money stolen by fraudsters, and of course, we’re protecting the people who need these services. Fraud is not a victimless crime.” He continued, “This is not somebody who gets to make some money for violating the law, and otherwise it’s not a big deal.” Instead, fraud deprives the sick and elderly of critical services that they rely on, strips students relying on student loans of the funds that they need, and abuses the loans systems that small businesses rely on to survive, to grow, and to hire and pay workers. “All of these people, all of our fellow Americans, have been taken advantage [of] by fraudsters,” Vance said, “and the Task Force is here to stop it.” (Read more)

NATO Sends Clear Message To Russia After Attack On Member Nation
|

|
|
NATO accused Moscow on Friday of reckless behavior and pledged to “defend every inch of Allied territory” after Romania said a Russian drone had crashed into a civilian apartment block in the alliance member state during an attack on neighboring Ukraine.
Romania’s defense ministry said a woman and a child suffered minor injuries in Galati near the border with Ukraine overnight after radar tracked a Russian drone entering Romanian airspace.
Photos from the scene showed charred and damaged brickwork on the roof of the 10-story apartment block which Romanian authorities said was hit by a drone that exploded on impact, tearing through a top-floor flat.
Russia’s TASS news agency cited Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who said President Vladimir Putin had been informed about the incident.
Separately, Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chair of Russia’s powerful Security Council, warned European leaders that drones would continue to stray into their countries and prevent their populations from sleeping peacefully.
It was the first time a densely populated area in a NATO country had been hit causing injuries during Russia’s war in Ukraine, and the incident is likely to increase tensions on the alliance’s eastern flank as member states worry about the war spilling over their borders. 2,970 coins bear names of rulers, including the legendary King Cnut

Two hobbyists recently uncovered one of the largest Viking coin hoards ever found — fittingly, in a Nordic country.
The hoard was found in a field near Rena, about 18 miles north of Elverum in southeastern Norway, according to an announcement from the University of Oslo's Museum of Cultural History (KHM).
The treasure hunters, Rune Sætre and Vegard Sørlie, suspected they had uncovered a hoard when they found 19 silver coins on April 10.
They contacted local officials at Innlandet County Authority — and the site soon became the center of a major archaeological investigation.
The cache consists of 2,970 silver coins believed to have been buried around 1047. It marks the largest Viking Age coin hoard discovered in Norway since 1950 — and the biggest in the country's history.
The coins were minted between the 980s and the 1040s and bear the names of rulers including Æthelred II, Otto III, Harald Hardrada and the legendary King Cnut.
Most of the coins were minted in England or Germany, which officials said reflects the strong foreign influence on Norway’s economy during the late Viking Age.
