President Trump is ‘On a Mission From God’
|
|
President Donald Trump says that he is on a mission from God. In a Truth Social post, Trump shared a meme of himself walking down a dark street captioned “He’s on a mission from God & nothing can stop what is coming.” Trump also included Pepe the Frog in the background of the meme, which some outlets, such as The Independent, have criticized as a symbol of the “alt-right.” The Freedom From Religion Foundation also said that “Christian nationalism is a threat to true religious freedom,” in a response to the post on X.
However, the meme did not rub everyone the wrong way. Worship leader Sean Feucht reposted the meme on X writing, “I actually kinda love that Trump posted this. He’s actually starting to believe and live out that God divinely spared his life for a heavenly purpose.” Despite the backlash from some corners, President Trump’s post has ignited a wave of hope among many believers who see divine purpose in his journey. For them, the message transcends politics—it speaks to the idea that no matter how dark the road may seem, God can raise up leaders for such a time as this. The notion that God can use anyone for His purposes is a reminder that light can still shine in the darkness, and that faith, not fear, can shape the path ahead. (Charisma News) Read more

- Abba, we celebrate President Trump recognizing that he is on assignment by God, for such a time as this. We ask Your protection and blood-covering upon him physically, spiritually and mentally. May our Commander in Chief receive divine wisdom and keen discernment for every decision made. Guide him in direction for our nation and for standing boldly in support of Israel. Surround him with hand-selected counsel that President Trump may clearly hear Your voice through them. We declare Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus powerful Name-Amen.

Mohamed Sabry Soliman:
What we know about illegal immigrant accused in Colorado terror attack
|
|
The suspect accused in a "targeted terror attack" in Boulder, Colorado, where a pro-Israel group was advocating for Hamas to release the Israeli hostages, was in the United States illegally, Fox News has learned.
Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, was arrested and taken to the hospital with minor injuries after his alleged attack on the "Run for Their Lives" group that was gathering on Pearl Street, police said Sunday night.
The group is a grassroots organization that facilitates global run and walk events calling for the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas. This particular chapter of the group meets on a weekly basis, police said.
Soliman is an Egyptian national who overstayed his visa after entering the U.S. during the Biden administration, three Homeland Security and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement sources told Fox News.
Soliman first arrived in the U.S. after landing at Los Angeles International Airport on Aug. 27, 2022, with a non-immigrant visa. He was authorized to stay through Feb. 2, 2023, but never left. On Sept. 9, 2022, he filed a claim with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. On March 29, 2023, Soliman was granted work authorization, which was valid through March of this year.
"A terror attack was committed in Boulder, Colorado by an illegal alien," White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller wrote on X. "He was granted a tourist visa by the Biden Administration and then he illegally overstayed that visa. In response, the Biden Administration gave him a work permit. Suicidal migration must be fully reversed."
Soliman was allegedly yelling "Free Palestine" during the attack, which was near the county courthouse on Pearl Street. Police responded to the area after receiving reports of a man with weapon setting people on fire.
The FBI said eight people, ages 52 to 88, were injured and taken to the hospital. One of those victims is considered to be in critical condition.
FBI deputy director Dan Bongino said the attack is being investigated as an act of "ideologically motivated violence," based on early information, evidence and witness accounts. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Father God, we are still weeping over the news of this terrible tragedy that unfolded upon the streets of Boulder, Colorado on Sunday. Lord God, we truly cannot find it in our hearts to pray for forgiveness for this demon-possessed man, but we know from Scripture that You can do that for us. So now, Holy One, we do ask You to forgive Mohamed Sabry Soliman, for he knows not what he does.
We ask that You visit the ones who were directly harmed in this attack, and bring Your touch of healing to each one, as needed. We understand that one victim is seriously injured, so we ask, too, that You spare his or her life in this hour.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer, in Jesus' Holy Name, amen and amen.
- "Father, forgive him, for he knows not what he does." (Luke 23:34)

Trump praised by faith leaders for AI leadership as they warn of technology's 'potential peril'
|
|
Evangelical leaders praised President Donald Trump for his leadership on artificial intelligence ("AI") in an open letter published last week, while cautioning him to ensure the technology is developed responsibly.
Dubbing Trump the "AI President," the religious leaders wrote that they believe Trump is there by "Divine Providence" to guide the world on the future of AI.
The signatories said they are "pro-science" and fully support the advancement of technology which benefits their own ministries around the world.
"We are also pro-economic prosperity and economic leadership for America and our friends. We do not want to see the AI revolution slowing, but we want to see the AI revolution accelerating responsibly," the letter says.
The faith leaders warned about the technology advancing at an out-of-control pace that could cause "potential peril" for mankind. They cited concerns raised by industry leaders Elon Musk, Bill Gates and Sam Altman, warning that AI would take jobs away in most industries and could eventually cause human suffering.
The U.S. should not hesitate in its efforts to "win the AI race," the pastors told Trump, but cautioned that victory mustn’t come at any cost. "As people of faith, we believe we should rapidly develop powerful AI tools that help cure diseases and solve practical problems, but not autonomous smarter-than-human machines that nobody knows how to control," the letter states.
"The spiritual implications of creating intelligence that may one day surpass human capabilities raises profound theological and ethical questions that must be thoughtfully considered with wisdom. One does not have to be religious to recognize religion as a type of compounding wisdom over the centuries, and virtually all religious traditions warn against a world where work is no longer necessary or where human beings can live their lives without any guardrails," the leaders wrote.
They urged Trump to develop an advisory council or delegate authority to an existing agency or council "which would convene leaders who will pay attention especially not only to what AI CAN do but also what it SHOULD do."
A group of 18 pastors and faith leaders signed on to the letter, which was spearheaded by prominent Christian leaders, Rev. Johnnie Moore, president of the Congress of Christian Leaders, and Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, President of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Council. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord God, just last week we read that the President's Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, has fallen victim to a cyberattack that involved the illegal use of AI technology. Someone hacked into her cell phone and began dialing many others,
pretending that the voice on the call was hers. It was not. It was instead an AI-generated "fake," pretending to be her voice, but was not. Chaos has since ensued, as many who thought they were receiving calls from Ms. Wiles were instead receiving calls from a fake person.
Having seen this happen just last week at the highest levels of our government, we beg to disagree with these men and women of faith. AI is dangerous and should not be pursued.
We ask that this agenda now be canceled, in Your Holy Name, amen and amen.

Observers Say Xi Jinping’s Exit Could Be Imminent Amid Internal Pushback
|
|
A series of unmistakable signals from within China’s political system in recent months indicate that Xi Jinping’s grip on power is weakening and that his removal may be imminent.
At least three prominent overseas insiders—each with a track record of reliably exposing Beijing’s internal affairs—have said that Xi currently holds only a nominal role and is expected to formally step down in the near future.
Among the most telling signs are the resurgence of the sidelined Communist Youth League faction, the purge of military figures close to Xi, and the conspicuously low-key inauguration of the Guanzhong Revolutionary Memorial Hall in northern China’s Shaanxi Province. By precedent, the memorial should have honored Xi’s father—Xi Zhongxun, a communist revolutionary. However, his name was omitted entirely from the memorial, and the regional designation “Guanzhong” was used instead. (The Epoch Times) For more details, please go here.

- King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, Your Word says that you change the times and seasons and remove kings and set up kings. Lord, if this is the season that you will remove this prideful man from power in China, we ask you to protect the Chinese people. May your will be done and your kingdom come as you raise up another leader for China. Awaken the people and leadership of China as all who are associated with Xi are removed from power in the days to come. Father, you are more than able to establish righteousness and peace in China. Give President Trump wisdom to discern what is happening in China and how to deal with its new leader. In Jesus' name, Amen.

- Mighty One, we bless You for watching over our nation in so many ways. We stand together asking You for Godly righteousness to prevail in each of the remaining nine Supreme court cases that will be decided upon within the next month. We pray for every Justice to walk in the fear of God and follow Your leading through the decision-making processes. Holy One, over half of these cases involve protecting minors from the over-reaching intrusion of the sexual cravings of our culture and we stand against these efforts to re-write those beliefs into our nation's lawbooks, in Jesus name. We refuse to back off or permit a tiny minority of well-funded activists to intrude into our homes, libraries, schools and lives with their ideology, in Jesus name. We pray for the Spirit of the Living God to cut off and breach every agenda behind these lawsuits and release revelation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ into their lives so they can repent and turn from their wicked ways. We praise You Father for the victory, in Jesus name.
- "The way of the just is uprightness; O Most Upright, You weigh the path of the just. Yes, in the way of Your judgments, O Lord, we have waited for You; The desire of our soul is for Your name And for the remembrance of You. With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness." (Isaiah 26:7-9)

Hamas announced Sunday that it was prepared to immediately begin a new round of indirect negotiations on remaining “points of contention” amid pressure from mediators to soften its stance, after the terror group submitted a response to a US ceasefire and hostage deal proposal that Washington called “totally unacceptable.”
Hamas said in a statement that its goal for the new talks would be to reach a deal that “ensures relief for our people and an end to the humanitarian catastrophe, ultimately leading to a permanent ceasefire and the complete withdrawal of the occupation forces.”
The terror group didn’t say that it had rescinded or revised the proposal that it submitted on Saturday to US special envoy Steve Witkoff. (Read more)

This was previously achieved during proximity talks and negotiations for the previous hostage deal held in Doha.
A security source emphasized that a distinction should be made between the “Qatargate” affairand the suspicions against Israeli citizens, and separating this from Qatar's role as a hostage deal mediator. (Read more)

1. Joe Biden 'optimistic' about treatment plan for Stage 4 prostate cancer - USA Today
Former President Joe Biden said on May 30 that he is “optimistic” about the treatment plan for his Stage 4 prostate cancer, which involves taking a daily pill for six weeks. "We're underway and all the folks are very optimistic," Biden said. “The expectation is we’re going to be able to beat this. It’s not in any (other) organ. My bones are strong, it hasn’t penetrated. So I’m feeling good.”
Doctors found a “small nodule” on Biden’s prostate during a routine exam; the 82-year-old was diagnosed Friday, May 16, according to a statement released by his office.
Speaking to reporters at a Delaware Memorial Day event for the first time since announcing his diagnosis, Biden said that he is being treated by a top doctor in the field. Biden's physician has lived through the same aggressive form of cancer as the former president.
“We’re all optimistic about the diagnosis. Matter of fact, one of the leading surgeons in the world is working with me and he was diagnosed with the same exact thing 32 years ago,” Biden said. “He’s alive and well, doing very well.” (Read more)

2. Musk is gone. But DOGE staffers are still trying to cut through agencies. - POLITICO
Elon Musk is stepping back from the federal government but his so-called Department of Government Efficiency isn’t going anywhere.
Just this week at the Interior Department, a 30-year veteran of the agency who told employees to ignore DOGE directives was escorted out of the building. Elsewhere, some DOGE employees have been hired on as permanent government staffers and given high-ranking positions inside agencies. The General Services Administration, for example, is an entry point for dozens of DOGE officials who’ve then gone to other departments.
And Cabinet heads like Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought have been quietly prepping plans for lasting changes that stand to be even more consequential than the initial rounds of cuts from Musk’s team, including through President Donald Trump’s large-scale efforts to reduce the workforce and the president’s budget requests. 3. Chinese students face anxious wait for visas under US crackdown - Reuters
The U.S. State Department said on Thursday it would not tolerate the "exploitation" of American universities or theft of U.S. research and intellectual property by Beijing. Spokesperson Tammy Bruce did not elaborate on how many Chinese students would be affected by a new plan announced on Wednesday to "aggressively" revoke visas.
The visa crackdown is the latest in a series of moves targeting the international student community, especially Chinese nationals, who make up roughly 1 in 4 of all international students in the U.S., as the Trump administration pursues its hardline immigration agenda.
If applied to a broad segment of the 277,000 Chinese students already at U.S. colleges, the visa revocations could disrupt a major source of income for universities and a crucial pipeline of talent for U.S. technology companies.
Chinese students make up 16% of all graduate science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) students in the United States. (Read more)

4. Trump says he's fired National Portrait Gallery director amid Washington arts scene takeover - POLITICO
President Donald Trump said he was sacking the longtime director of the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery, Kim Sajet, on Friday, ending the 12-year tenure of the first woman to serve as the gallery’s director.
“Upon the request and recommendation of many people, I am herby (sic) terminating the employment of Kim Sajet as Director of the National Portrait Gallery. She is a highly partisan person, and a strong supporter of DEI, which is totally inappropriate for her position. Her replacement will be named shortly. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post Friday afternoon.
It is not immediately clear if the president can dismiss the gallery’s director. The National Portrait Gallery, which was founded by Congress in 1962, operates under the purview of the Smithsonian Institution. According to its website, the Smithsonian is funded through a mix of public and private money, with federal funding making up 62 percent of its backing.
The museum houses over 23,000 works of art, most famously a collection of presidential portraits, called “America’s Presidents,” displayed in an exhibit that is a tourist magnet in downtown Washington. (Read more)

6. Mount Etna erupts, shooting a massive ash cloud into the sky and raising alerts - NPR
Italy's Mount Etna produced a spectacularly explosive eruption Monday morning, sending a ripple of reddish clouds down from its summit. The soaring ash rose to form a mushroom cloud high above Etna, Europe's highest active volcano, triggering a red alert for aviation crews in the region.
The dramatic scene at Etna's southeast crater was caught on multiple webcams, spreading quickly across social media. As seen in a Weather Sicily webcam video, the eruption rapidly grew from a few lava flows to cascades of boiling ash and smoke that rose into a large cloud.
Thankfully, the eruption doesn't seem to have had any immediate impact on people in the area, other than forcing officials to halt tourists' visits to the volcano, which is a popular destination and is located on the east coast of Sicily.
Officials believe that a large portion of the crater collapsed, according to the Italian news agency ANSA. (Read more)

You Count—In the Desert and Today
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, June 2, 2025
There is a lot of talk these days about being seen. Facebook, Instagram, X, are all about being seen. If you’ve ever wondered whether God really sees you, take a walk through the book of Numbers—yes, Numbers. Buried in what seems like a divine spreadsheet is a profound truth: in God’s economy, every person counts. Literally. In Numbers 1:1–4:20, God commands Moses to take a census of the Israelite men, tribe by tribe, name by name. It’s not just head-counting—it’s head-lifting. The Hebrew word for census, se’u et rosh, means “lift the head.” When God counts His people, He’s recognizing faces, destinies, and callings. Every person matters. Every place, including yours, has a purpose.
God’s census included the Levites, who were counted separately and given the sacred task of ministering around the Tabernacle. Their inheritance wasn’t land—it was the privilege of proximity to God. The rest of Israel camped in order around the Tabernacle, and interestingly, those positions later reflected the tribal territories in the Promised Land. Judah—Messiah’s tribe—camped to the east, and their inheritance later centered on Jerusalem. But here’s the twist: the priestly role wasn’t always reserved for the Levites. Originally, God set apart the firstborn of every family on the night of the Passover, when the blood on the doorposts spared them from death. The firstborns were His—redeemed by the blood of a lamb. US Africa commander highlights terror growth in Sahel and competition with China for influence
|
|
|
A top United States military general warned Thursday that terror groups in Africa are ramping up their ability to conduct attacks in the U.S.
Gen. Michael Langley, the four-star Marine General who leads U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), said the Sahel region of the continent is now the "flashpoint of prolonged conflict and growing instability. It is the epicenter of terrorism on the globe."
Several terror groups have expanded drastically in the last three years. Al-Qaeda in the Lands of the Islamic Maghreb, or AQIM, is three times the size it was in 2022, he said, and has spread across Mali, Burkina Faso, and parts of Niger, which the U.S. military pulled out of last year.
Jama'at Nasr al-Islam wal-Muslimin, a faction affiliated with Al-Qaeda, is now four times the size it was in 2022, expanding mainly in Burkina Faso.
"We're keeping a good eye on this because they could have the capacity to attack the homeland," Langley said in a call with reporters.
"Throughout my travels across West Africa and through dialog here at the conference, the concerns shared by my peers match my own," he added. "One of the terrorist's key goals now is access to the west coast of Africa. If they gain access to the vast coastline, they can diversify their revenue streams and evolve their tactics, more easily exporting terrorism to American shores." (Fox News) Read more here.

Elon Musk biographer believes billionaire is 'frustrated' as he exits DOGE
|
|
|
Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has officially stepped down from his role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency, ending his brief but high-profile stint as a special government employee.
Walter Isaacson, author of the biography "Elon Musk," believes the SpaceX and Tesla mogul is leaving deeply "frustrated" by the limits of Washington.
Isaacson says Musk's time in government wasn't a strategic move for his businesses but a personal mission to fix what he saw as a failing system.
"Whether it's him taking over Twitter or dealing with Tesla's crisis or SpaceX, you see that all-in intensity," Isaacson said. "Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. But he’s all-in."
According to Isaacson, that mindset ultimately clashed with the limitations of government. "You can’t do that in government," he said. "Because he doesn’t own the federal government."
Musk's frustration was on display earlier this week when he criticized President Donald Trump’s recently House-passed spending bill. During an appearance on "CBS Sunday Morning," Musk argued the bill’s increased spending worsens the national deficit and "undermines the work the DOGE team is doing."
The comments have sparked speculation of a growing divide between Musk and Trump, who had previously aligned in their push to reduce government waste.
Isaacson says the criticism wasn’t personal but aimed at the broader system. "He is frustrated that even the Republicans in the House and the Senate have been captured by Washington interests," he said. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord, we are so thankful for the accountability that has been established by this important agency under the leadership of Elon Musk. Lord we pray that Elon will come to know you as his Lord and Savior. God we lift up those who will next head this agency that they would choose to spend our money wisely. We pray that they would carefully consider all the issues that are plaguing Americans and choose to focus on those issues. Amen.

Kentucky Senate Democrat switches parties to GOP in major blow to Dem Gov Andy Beshear
|
|
|
Kentucky state Democratic Sen. Robin Webb, who represents Kentucky’s rural 18th Senate district, is switching her party affiliation to Republican after she says the Democrat Party "left me."
"First and foremost, I’m a mother, a rancher and a lawyer with deep personal and professional roots in Kentucky’s coal country," Webb explained. "As the Democratic Party continues its lurch to the left and its hyperfocus on policies that hurt workforce and economic development in my region, I no longer feel it represents my values.
"It has become untenable and counterproductive to the best interests of my constituents for me to remain a Democrat."
This comes as a major blow to Kentucky Democrats, who have historically held a stronghold in rural regions of the state largely due to union workers and the coal industry.
Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear told a local Louisville news outlet that he "would consider" a run as the Democratic nominee for president in 2028, and the newly elected Democratic governor and potential presidential candidate now faces an additional challenge to mobilize his state's party ahead of the 2026 midterms. Archaeologists unearth ancient bread that survived underground for 5,000 years
|
|
Using ancestral wheat, local bakers are now recreating a burnt loaf preserved since Bronze Age
Archaeologists recently unveiled a rare culinary find: a well-preserved loaf of ancient bread.
The artifact was found during an archaeological excavation at the Kulluoba site in the Eskisehir province, located in central Turkey. Excavators unearthed the loaf in Sept. 2024, but it wasn't unveiled to the public until this month.
The bread is roughly 5,000 years old and was baked during Turkey's Bronze Age. Researchers say the bread was burnt and buried under the entrance of a dwelling dating back to 3,300 B.C.
Some of the bread, which measures about 5 inches in diameter, was torn off before it was buried.
An image of the loaf shows that it's blackened and crumbled with age — but it still retains the shape of bread.
Murat Türkteki, archaeologist and director of the excavation, told Agence France-Presse (AFP) that ancient bread is a "rare find," per Turkish Minute, a local outlet.
"Bread is a rare find during an excavation. Usually, you only find crumbs," he said.
"But here, it was preserved because it had been burnt and buried." (Fox News) Read More

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
