'The Doors Are Opening': Millions of Bibles Poised for Iran as Regime Crumbles
|
|
American churches and ministries are gearing up, convinced that God is about to do something big in Iran. Christians are praying and getting ready for the day – maybe sooner than we think – when Iran's doors are finally open to the gospel. As airstrikes continue to pound Iran, Christians there are praying for God to step in and bring freedom to their country. "They're still gathering, and they're still praying. And I think they're a lot more cautious now. They're really kind of staying closer to home if they can," said Vision Beyond Borders President Patrick Klein.
He told CBN News that he and his Bible smuggling team recently met in Armenia, just a stone's throw from the Iranian border. "There's also a lot of trucks, about a thousand oil tankers coming across the border every day, carrying oil to Western Europe. So it's a great border. And we just went with our team and prayed at the border and asked the Lord to open the borders," Klein explained. Dirk Smith, Vice President at Eastern European Mission, said, "The doors are going to open up, and if they do, it's going to be a flood. It's going to be a flood that opens up."
Smith's team is ready to send a huge shipment of children's and teen Bibles, plus other Christian books in Farsi, into Iran. Some Christians argue that Bible smugglers need to wait. They warn that civil war and insurgency could soon make Iran too dangerous for spreading the gospel.
"Too dangerous to spread the gospel?" Smith asked rhetorically. "How does that work? I guess I would ask somebody to find me the Scripture. You know, we pray for safety a lot. I find that interesting. You know, I go to church, and I keep safe, and I'm like, I don't know that I find that in the Bible. I don't find a prayer for safety. How is something too risky? Is it? Is it ever too risky to share the gospel of Jesus with someone?"

Abba Father, we REJOICE over the news of ministries preparing to share Your Word and the Good News of Jesus Christ inside Iran! Continue to bless and place a hedge of protection upon 'Vision Beyond Borders', 'Eastern European Missions' and all our brothers and sisters working as undercover agents for the Lord. We stand alongside these ministries, as we decree and declare WIDE-OPEN DOORS for distributing millions of Bibles into the Middle East, for the Glory of God!!! We lift praise to You, Lord, in all the opportunities You are orchestrating for the spreading of the Gospel, causing genuine salvations in Christ and an abundant harvest into Your holy Kingdom! In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray- Amen.
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

Trump to Sign Order to Pay TSA Agents
|
|
President Donald Trump plans to sign an order that will pay Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents who have not received a check since the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) entered a partial shutdown in mid-February.
“I am going to sign an Order instructing the Secretary of Homeland Security, Markwayne Mullin, to immediately pay our TSA Agents in order to address this Emergency Situation, and to quickly stop the Democrat Chaos at the Airports,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post on March 26.
More than 3,120 TSA agents, who haven’t been paid in weeks, called out on Wednesday, which prompted long lines to continue at airports across the country, according to a statement the DHS shared with The Epoch Times.
“It is not an easy thing to do, but I am going to do it!” Trump added. “I want to thank our hardworking TSA Agents and also, ICE, for the incredible help they have given us at the Airports.” (The Epoch Times) Read more
|
|
Lord, we thank You for this hope to bring TSA agents a paycheck. You know the answers for the shutdown, and You know the underlying foolish actions that brought Americans – both government employees and travelers to such hardship. We pray that Congress in both houses will work together for the people they represent rather than stalemates that create extreme difficulties.
“I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.” (1 Corinthians 1:10)

DHS Deal Sets Washington On Edge As House Prepares For Funding Vote
|
|
The Senate voted to fund portions of the Department of Homeland Security early Friday morning, bringing a partial resolution to the funding lapse that began in February.
The bill now heads to the House of Representatives, which will scramble to pass the bill before the weekend.
Lawmakers spent Friday morning reacting to the long-awaited action from the Senate, which omits funding for ICE and Border Patrol agents. Tennessee Republican Rep. Andy Ogles suggested the House should attach a voter ID provision to the bill, a response to the Senate’s inability to pass President Donald Trump’s favored SAVE America Act. (Daily Wire) Read more

Holy God of Truth, as the two chambers differ on every issue and few points of unity exist, we speak peace over the process of both funding for DHS and the SAVE America Act. We bind every thought and action that sows discord in our legislative bodies and pray for Your intervention with answers that bring the removal of hatred.
“So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.”

Trump Says Iran Allowed 10 Tankers Through Hormuz Strait as Sign of Good Faith for Talks
|
|
U.S. President Donald Trump said on March 26 that Iran had given the United States a “present” in the form of several boats carrying oil.
To show that they were serious and reliable, Iran had planned to send more than eight large vessels of oil, he said. He initially thought nothing of it, but then he saw a news report stating that eight ships were moving through the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump, speaking during a Cabinet meeting, reiterated that his administration is having “very substantial talks” with Tehran to resolve the conflict.
Iranian officials gifted the United States 10 boats of crude oil to show that they were “real and solid” during negotiations, he said.
“I guess we’re dealing with the right people,” the president said. “And actually, they then apologized for something they said, and they said, ‘We’re going to send two more boats,’ and ended up being 10 boats.” (Fox) Read more
|
|
Lord, we are well aware of the lies that Iranian operatives do in order to gain time or considerations. We pray that these 10 boats, while not enough to solve the Hormuz Strait problem, will not end up as a dangerous delay tactic. We humbly ask that this conflict end by finishing the task, without leaving evil intact.
“The wicked are estranged from the womb; they go astray from birth, speaking lies.” (Psalm 58:3)

Trump Extends Pause on Iranian Energy Strikes to April 6
|
|
President Donald Trump has decided to delay potential strikes on Iranian energy sites, citing progress in talks with Tehran.
“As per Iranian Government request, please let this statement serve to represent that I am pausing the period of Energy Plant destruction by 10 Days to Monday, April 6, 2026, at 8 P.M., Eastern Time,” Trump wrote in a March 26 post on Truth Social.
“Talks are ongoing and, despite erroneous statements to the contrary by the Fake News Media, and others, they are going very well.”
On March 21, Trump issued an initial demand for Iran to reopen access to commercial traffic through the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, or face new strikes targeting its energy infrastructure.
After U.S. and Israeli forces launched strikes against Iran on Feb. 28, Iranian forces began harassing commercial traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow chokepoint in an otherwise major artery for global oil exports. (The Epoch Times) Read more

|
Holy Father, we ask that Your Power protect President Trump’s plans as he navigates negotiations with this evil regime. We pray that nothing will prevent Your perfect will from coming to pass.
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

Millions turn out for "No Kings" rallies held worldwide to protest against Trump
|
|
|
Crowds of people protested Saturday against the war in Iran and President Trump's actions, in "No Kings" rallies across the U.S. and in Europe. Minnesota took center stage, in what organizers said were mass demonstrations involving millions of people.
U.S. organizers had estimated that the first two rounds of No Kings rallies drew more than 5 million people in June and 7 million in October. On Saturday, they estimated that at least 8 million participants took part in more than 3,300 events worldwide.
Thousands of people stood shoulder-to-shoulder on the Minnesota Capitol lawn and surrounding streets in St. Paul. Some held upside down U.S. flags, historically a sign of distress.
The event's headliner was Bruce Springsteen, who performed "Streets of Minneapolis." He wrote the song in response to the fatal shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by federal agents and in tribute to the thousands of Minnesotans who took to the streets over the winter to protest the Trump administration's aggressive immigration enforcement.
Before he launched into the song, Springsteen lamented Good and Pretti's deaths but said people's continued pushback against U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement has given the rest of the country hope.
"Your strength and your commitment told us that this was still America," he said. "And this reactionary nightmare, and these invasions of American cities, will not stand." (CBS News) Read more here.

Father God, we weep in repentance for the millions of souls who are now calling "good" "evil," and "evil" "good!". Lord God Almighty, in Your Name, we BIND the spirit of delusion that has fallen upon these masses, and we loose the spirit of TRUTH where needed!
Lord God, this is not a political issue, but a spiritual one. We praise You, Holy King, for Your Word! We have read to the end of the Book, and we thank You that, in the end, YOU WIN! We pray that, in the end, the veil of DECEPTION that has fallen upon the minds of these millions will be LIFTED, and they WILL know the TRUTH and the TRUTH WILL SET THEM FREE! In Your Holy name, on bended knee, we offer this prayer, amen and amen!
"Let GOD arise, and His enemies be scattered!" (Psalm 68:1)

5. Israel bars church leaders from Palm Sunday mass ‘for the first time in centuries,’ church says - CNN
For the first time in centuries, Catholic leaders have been barred from Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulchre on Palm Sunday, according to church authorities in the holy city.

“For the first time in centuries, the Heads of the Church were prevented from celebrating the Palm Sunday Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre,” the Patriarchate said in a statement on Sunday. “This incident is a grave precedent and disregards the sensibilities of billions of people around the world who, during this week, look to Jerusalem.” (Read more)

1. Olympic Committee Torches Men in Women’s Sports, 3 Blue States Could Follow - The Washington Stand
With the exception of elected Democrats, it’s tough to find anyone in the world who thinks men competing in girls’ sports is a good idea. And that club of extremists got even smaller on Thursday when the International Olympic Committee (IOC) followed through on their new president’s promise to end this radical experiment and limit female events to biological women. “At the Olympic Games, even the smallest margins can be the difference between victory and defeat,” IOC chief Kirsty Coventry insisted in the announcement. “So it is absolutely clear that it would not be fair for biological males to compete in the female category.”
A two-time Olympic swimming champion from Zimbabwe, Coventry had signaled her support for a strict policy shortly after she assumed the new job, making it clear, even then, that “the overarching principle must be to protect the female category.” But first, she explained, the committee would take a good, hard look at the science so her team could make the most informed decision possible.
“We know that this topic is sensitive,” Coventry admitted in a press event before acknowledging that this had been a “priority for me way before President Trump came into his second term.” Of course, the White House’s executive order on the upcoming Los Angeles Games in 2028 and its general policy of protecting girls’ sports did help to create the momentum the IOC needed to finish the job Coventry began with her review.

2. Indicted Democrat Rep Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick one step closer to expulsion - Fox
A bipartisan panel of House lawmakers voted to kickstart a process that could lead to the expulsion of a congressional Democrat accused of laundering millions of disaster relief funds into her campaign account.
A House Ethics investigative subcommittee approved a motion for summary judgment, effectively finding Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, D-Fla., guilty of nearly all alleged violations outlined by the committee earlier this year.
The verdict came after a rare public ethics hearing on Thursday — the first since 2010 — that lasted more than six hours as lawmakers from both parties grilled Cherfilus-McCormick’s counsel. The eight-member adjudicatory subcommittee, helmed by Rep. Michael Guest, R-Miss., announced its decision in a written statement Friday morning.
"After careful deliberation that lasted until well past midnight, the adjudicatory subcommittee found that Counts 1-15 and 17-26 of the SAV [statement of alleged violations] had been proven," committee leaders said in a statement. Read more

3. China's American Mao: Inside Singham’s blueprint to ‘wage war' for a 'new world order' - Fox
Last November in Shanghai, as American tech tycoon Neville Roy SIngham took the stage at the Golden Tulip hotel for a conference endorsed by the Chinese Communist Party, he offered the clearest window yet into the ideology and strategy behind the global network he has funded over nearly a decade.
Clutching a 172-page report he had authored, Singham put forward a worldview that reframes history, challenges Western power and calls for a "new world order" promoted by Chinese President Xi Jinping and the Communist Party of China, or CPC, as it's called in the country.
"If we want to, therefore, have a new world order that is based on multilateralism that President Xi and CPC and China have proposed, we have to undo the ideological damage that has been done by the narrative of World War II," he said.
The packed room of about 200 ideologues assembled for the Global South Academic Forum, applauded enthusiastically. And it was no wonder.
In the audience in Shanghai, Mao’s vision of an "international revolutionary front" appeared in real time, a cross-border network of academics, activists and organizers listening intently, many of whom Singham has helped fund over the past decade, a Fox News Digital investigation reveals. Read more

4. 47 Democrats Vote Against Voter ID After Claiming They’d Support It – The Federalist
Forty-seven Democrats voted against a photo ID amendment on Thursday despite Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer previously claiming that he was supportive of photo ID.
Sen. Jon Husted (R-OH) introduced an amendment to the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act that would simply require photo ID to vote. Acceptable forms of ID include an unexpired driver’s license with a photo, a valid passport, a military ID, an unexpired state-ID card, among others.
The measure needed 60 votes to pass but only received 53 “AYE’s.”
Schumer claimed the amendment would “impose the single strictest voter ID law in America.”
“This radical amendment would toss out every single voter ID requirement in all 50 states for federal elections and put in an overly restrictive, one-size-fits-all approach,” Schumer reportedly said.
Yet Schumer previously said on the topic of voter ID that “Our objection as Democrats is not to a photo ID” and that “Democrats support voter ID. In fact, we included it and it is included in our Freedom to Vote legislation several years ago. So, we’re not opposed.” Read more

5. Majority Of Voters Want Tighter Abortion Pill Safeguards, New Poll Shows - The Federalist
More than two-thirds of Americans indicated they are against Biden-era Food and Drug Administration rules that allow women to receive dangerous abortion pills without seeing a doctor in-person first, according to a new poll reported Wednesday.
Polling conducted on behalf of the 85 Fund and obtained by The Daily Wire reveals a large majority of likely voters — 67 percent — support “reinstating an in-person doctor visit requirement for accessing an abortion pill via the mail,” according to the outlet. When separated according to political party, the poll found significant majorities of both Republicans (72 percent) and Democrats (63 percent) support reimplementing the requirement. Sixty-eight percent of independents supported the same.
As The Federalist’s Jordan Boyd has reported, the Biden administration ultimately “rolled back” the FDA’s Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMs), or safety standards, for the abortion drug mifepristone. This enabled “the distribution of mifepristone without essential medical screenings,” such as an in-person doctor visit for a prescription.

“There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.” (Proverbs 6:16-19)

6. Trump rolls out plan to back farmers amid rising costs, pledging 'golden age' - Fox
President Donald Trump announced a series of actions Friday aimed at assisting farmers and food suppliers to help cut costs amid rising energy prices, promising a new "golden age" for the agricultural industry.
Trump shared guidance on farm equipment regulations in an effort to cut costs and increase government loan guarantees for agricultural products, including tractors, among other reforms.
He said a lot of farm equipment has become unaffordable for many farmers.
"Every day we're looking for new ways to support our farmers, reduce your costs and to help lower the price of food for the American family," Trump said on the South Lawn of the White House. "We're going to prove that the golden age of American agriculture is right here and right now." Read more

Iran-linked group hacks Kash Patel's personal email

FBI Director Kash Patel's personal email was hacked by an Iran-linked group, according to a report.
The hacker group Handala Hack Team published photographs of Patel and his purported resume online, Reuters reported. The group said on its website that Patel "will now find his name among the list of successfully hacked victims."
The newswire was unable to immediately authenticate the emails that Hanadala published, but a sample of the material uploaded by the hackers appears to show a mix of personal and work correspondence dating between 2010 and 2019.
A Justice Department official confirmed to Reuters that Patel's emails were compromised but did not provide any additional details. The FBI and the hackers did not immediately respond to the newswire's request for comment. (Just The News) Read more

Finland Supreme Court Convicts MP for 2004 Pamphlet Expressing Christian Opposition to Homosexuality
|
|
|
The Supreme Court of Finland, in a 3-2 vote, convicted Christian Democrat MP Päivi Räsänen on Thursday of “agitation against a population group” over a 2004 publication critical of homosexuality.
In recent years, Räsänen, who previously served as Interior Minister, found herself in a legal battle on accusations of “hate speech” against LGBT+ people over a 2004 publication, a 2018 radio appearance, and a 2019 social media post that included a bible verse. While she was acquitted by the District Court of Helsinki and the Court of Appeal, the case was eventually brought to the Finnish Supreme Court.
On Thursday, the court voted to convict Räsänen over the 2004 publication, which she titled, “Male and Female He Created Them – Homosexual Relationships Challenge the Christian Concept of Humanity.” The Luther Foundation Finland, which republished the content over the internet in 2019, was also convicted.
The Finland Supreme Court noted that the MP was charged with two counts over the publication “derogatory towards homosexuals on the basis of their sexual orientation.”
“In the text, Räsänen had inter alia noted that homosexuality is an aberration of psychosexual development and described homosexuality as sexual deviation,” the Finnish top court said in a statement. (Breitbart) Read more

House Republicans pass rival DHS plan, setting up Senate fight as shutdown set to become longest in history
|

|
House Republicans passed a short-term funding patch for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) over the fierce objections of Democratic lawmakers late Friday evening.
But the 42-day shutdown that has snarled air travel and left tens of thousands of federal employees without pay is far from over.
House lawmakers voted 213-203, largely along party lines, to approve a two-month funding extension for the beleaguered department, which has been operating without full-year appropriations since the funding lapse began on Feb. 14.
Reps. Don Davis, D-N.C., Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, D-Wash., and Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, crossed party lines to support the measure. More than a dozen lawmakers did not vote. (Fox News) Read more here

Italy PM Giorgia Meloni called the move an 'offense' to religious freedom
|
|
|
Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulchre and other major holy sites were closed on Palm Sunday under Israeli wartime restrictions, disrupting one of Christianity’s holiest observances as the Iran war entered its fifth week.
The Catholic Church rebuked the police decision as "a manifestly unreasonable and grossly disproportionate measure."
Israeli police lamented the war restrictions limiting worship and acknowledged the need to "balance freedom" with "public safety."
"Under Home Front Command directives, life-saving restrictions apply to all holy sites in the Old City — for Jews, Christians, and Muslims alike," Israeli police posted to X, responding to an outcry on religious freedom in a video statement. "The Old City has been targeted by murderous missiles multiple times this month, alongside constant fire on residential areas."
"These threats do not discriminate between religions, and neither does our duty to protect you," the statement continued. "We are in active dialogue with religious leaders, including an upcoming meeting with the Patriarch, to examine solutions that balance freedom of worship with public safety."
The Latin Patriarchate said Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, and Father Francesco Ielpo were stopped by Israeli police while trying to reach the church privately to celebrate Mass, after the traditional Palm Sunday procession had already been canceled.
Israel President Isaac Herzog called the restricted worshipers to "express my great sorrow over this morning's unfortunate incident."
"I clarified that the incident stemmed from security concerns due to the continuous threat of missile attacks from the Iranian terror regime against the civilian population in Israel, following previous incidents in which Iranian missiles fell in the area of the Old City of Jerusalem in recent days," he wrote Sunday on X. "I reaffirmed the State of Israel's unwavering commitment to freedom of religion for all faiths and to upholding the status quo at the holy sites of Jerusalem."

Father God, we too are grieved to know that these holy sites needed to be closed on Palm Sunday by the IDF authorities in this time of war. We ask that the leaders of these different faiths be given by You the grace to understand that, indeed, this is a time of war, and that these drastic measures were instituted for the safety of all involved. Help there to be healing of hearts between the officials that were involved; and help us all to look forward to a better day ahead when the war has ended. In Your Name, Holy One, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

Archaeologists unearth 1,600-year-old Christian monastic site with paintings, mysterious inscription

Egyptian archaeologists recently unearthed the remnants of a Christian monastic site from the 5th century — some 400 years after the time of Jesus Christ.
The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities wrote in a translated statement on March 23 that a building was recently found in the Qallaya area in Egypt's Beheira Governorate.
The structure, likely a guesthouse used to host visitors, is a remnant of the "early beginnings of Coptic monasticism," the release said.
Previous buildings have also been found at the site, and the newly discovered structure had 13 multipurpose rooms used for "hospitality and teaching … in addition to service facilities such as a kitchen and storage areas," officials said.
The area is considered one of Egypt's significant early monastic centers.
Coptic monasticism was one of the oldest forms of organized Christian monasticism, laying the groundwork for traditions that endure to this day. (Fox) Read More

"The Lord looks from heaven;
He sees all the sons of men.
From the place of His dwelling He looks
On all the inhabitants of the earth;
He fashions their hearts individually;
He considers all their works."

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
