WH erects replica of Christopher Columbus statue
destroyed in 2020 BLM riots, calls explorer a 'hero'

The White House erected a marble statue of Christopher Columbus outside the neighboring Eisenhower Executive Office Building over the weekend to honor the 250th anniversary of the United States and the enduring legacy of European civilization in the New World. The statue, which stands 13 feet tall and weighs approximately one ton, was installed Sunday. It was made from the remnants of a similar statue that was torn down and thrown into Baltimore's Inner Harbor during the Black Lives Matter protests that roiled the city in 2020. The original statue was dedicated in 1984 by then-Baltimore Mayor William Donald Schaefer and President Ronald Reagan. When it was destroyed in 2020, Baltimore's then-Mayor Jack Young said the statue "'may represent different things to different people.' We understand the dynamics that are playing out in Baltimore are part of a national narrative," his office told The Baltimore Sun at the time.
A White House spokesperson struck a different tone in a recent statement to The New York Times. "In this White House, Christopher Columbus is a hero, and President Trump will ensure he's honored as such for generations to come," the spokesperson said. The replica statue was commissioned by the Conference of Presidents of Major Italian American Organizations. Its president, Basil M. Russo, praised the statue's prominence in a statement. "Columbus statues have long stood as symbols of pride and cultural identity for more than 18 million Americans of Italian descent," Russo said. "For over a century, Columbus' legacy helped Italian immigrants navigate prejudice and hardship, serving as a source of unity and belonging as they built new lives in this country." Low Chance for US-Iran Deal, But Trump "Can Always Surprise Us", Israeli Officials Tell "JPost"

Israeli officials say a US-Iran deal remains unlikely, but fear President Donald Trump could still declare a temporary ceasefire as talks continue.
While Israeli officials assess that a deal between Iran and the United States is unlikely, they are concerned that US President Donald Trump could announce a temporary ceasefire to demonstrate his commitment to reaching an agreement.
“At present, the positions of Tehran and Washington make the likelihood of an agreement somewhere between slim and nonexistent. Still, Trump could surprise us,” an Israeli official told The Jerusalem Post.
Israel has no indication that Trump intends to declare a ceasefire, but it is preparing for that possibility. On Wednesday evening, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with senior security officials and a small group of ministers. A Security Cabinet session is expected to follow.

We ask You to release Holy Spirit and His angels to pour Your peace into the hearts of all who are called by Your name, remind us that You are the decision maker, not President Trump, not PM Netanyahu, not the leaders in Iran, YOU.
Father God, we ask that You begin to heal our hearts where we can no longer see You in all the turmoil in our world. Trump Warns Iran to "Get Serious" on Talks or Face Harsh Consequences

Trump said Tehran is privately pushing for a deal while publicly denying talks, warning Iranian negotiators to engage seriously or face escalation.
U.S. President Donald Trump on March 26 warned Iran to “get serious” about negotiations to end the war, accusing Iranian officials of falsely downplaying ongoing contacts and cautioning that failure to engage could lead to severe consequences.
In a post on social media, Trump described Iranian negotiators as “very different and ‘strange,’” stating they were privately pushing for a deal while publicly denying meaningful talks.
“They are ‘begging’ us to make a deal ... and yet they publicly state that they are only ‘looking at our proposal.’ WRONG!!!” Trump wrote, adding, “They better get serious soon, before it is too late ... and it won’t be pretty!”
Trump’s post reflects ongoing differences in rhetoric between Washington and Tehran over whether talks are actually taking place, as the war continues to intensify across the region.

Israel Claims Iranian Navy Commander Blocking Strait of Hormuz Killed

sraeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced on Thursday that the country’s military had eliminated Admiral Alireza Tangsiri of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), identifying him as the top official blocking the Strait of Hormuz.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu later issued his own statement, apparently confirming Katz’s claim and suggesting that the targeting and elimination of the IRGC terrorist was the product of “cooperation between us and our ally, the United States.”
Tangsiri was the head of the IRGC’s naval units and had repeatedly threatened a full blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical maritime passageway for commercial shipping. Iran’s threats against random commercial vessels in the strait have enabled a dramatic increase in the global price of petroleum products, particularly endangering supplies in east Asia. The governments of South Korea and China, in particular, have loudly objected to any disruption in commercial traffic in the Strait and discouraged actions that interfere with regular economic activity in their countries.
The IRGC admiral is the latest among dozens of senior Iranian military and civilian officials killed since President Donald Trump announced “Operation Epic Fury,” a military engagement to disable Iran’s ability to fund and execute terrorist activity around the world. On the first day of the operation, February 28, Trump announced the elimination of the country’s longtime “supreme leader,” Ali Khamenei, leaving Iran without clear leadership. Iranian officials announced that they had chosen Khamenei’s son, Mojtaba Khamenei, as the next supreme leader, but the younger Khamenei has not made any public appearance or live public statements, fueling speculation that he is either severely wounded or otherwise incapacitated.
“The man who was directly responsible for the terrorist operation of mining and blocking the Strait of Hormuz to shipping was blown up and eliminated,” Israeli Defense Minister Katz announced on Thursday, describing his death as the result of a “precise” operation that also included actions against other senior IRGC leaders. The IRGC is the most powerful arm of the Iranian military and a U.S.-designated terrorist organization.

Abba, we give You praise that Admiral Tangsiri has been taken out and is no longer a threat to the US, Israel, or any other country whose ships use the Strait of Hormuz for commerce. Father God, we are asking You to bring this war to an end. Move on hearts to bring them into agreement on the terms of Your treaty, what You know must happen to actually bring lasting peace. We ask You to change minds, attitudes and "deal breakers" that each side has established. Jesus, let Your presence change the atmosphere so completely that what once seemed impossible becomes possible, for all things are possible in You. Give Your intercessor's the faith to believe You for BIG prayers, the type of prayers that come into agreement with Your heart and change the world in fantastic ways. Abba,thank You that President Trump has once again put out the points that Iran must agree to that will allow this war to end, but we need Your help in bringing Iran to the table to truthfully negotiate. Holy Spirit, You know what must change in the hearts of the Iranian leadership to be willing to honestly discuss ways to stop the bombs. We ask You to send out Your warrior angels to fight this in the heavenlies, that intercessors can pray the victory into the earth realm. Father God, we ask You to move on the hearts of all involved in trying to find a pathway to peace, we ask You to speak whatever each must hear from You that will allow hearts to soften with a willingness to change. We know that You are the only one who can make this happen, we don't pretend to know how, we just ask You in Your mercy to do what only You can do....bring peace to the entire Middle East. 1. ‘Extensive’ Israeli airstrikes target Iranian military industries - JNS
The Israel Defense Forces on Wednesday conducted a wave of “extensive strikes” targeting regime infrastructure across Iran, including in Tehran, Isfahan and other industrial hubs.
In a wave of attacks in the area of the capital, the military hit regime sites for the production of “aerial and naval combat equipment,” according to a statement.
The sites were also said to have produced arms for Tehran’s regional proxies, including Palestinian Hamas, Lebanese Hezbollah and other terrorist groups.
At the same time, the regime’s aerial-defense array, including an anti-aircraft system, were attacked, the IDF said. (Read more)

According to three diplomatic sources in the region and the West, these contacts – which have run throughout the war and have grown more frequent in recent days – are designed to deliver coordinated messages, align military and diplomatic moves, and lay the groundwork for future political progress. 3. Three impact sites: One murdered in missile strike on Nahariya

A man in his 30s was murdered on Thursday afternoon as a result of a direct missile impact on a building in Nahariya.
The tragedy occurred during a missile barrage launched by the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the western Galilee.
At the main impact site in the city, a building suffered a direct hit, causing substantial damage and injuries. Upon the arrival of Magen David Adom ambulance crews at the scene, paramedics found the victim in critical condition, together with another man in his 50s in severe condition, and a third victim with minor wounds. 4. Hezbollah unleashes over 600 attacks on Israel in past 24 hours, doubling prior peak - Jerusalem Post
Hezbollah has fired over 600 times on Israel and IDF troops in the last 24 hours, around double its prior high of around 300 aerial threats during the 2023-2024 conflict between the sides, IDF sources have confirmed.
The vast majority of the rockets, mortars, and drones were launched at IDF forces holding positions in or seeking to advance within southern Lebanon.
This major spike in Hezbollah attacks, up from a general average of around 100 attacks per day during the current war, occurred in the shadow of a possible end to the Israel-Iran war. (Read more)

5. Second IDF soldier killed in southern Lebanon, 4 more lightly injured - i24 News
Sergeant Aviaad Elchanan Volansky, 21, from Jerusalem, a fighter in the 77th Battalion of the 7th Brigade, was killed on Thursday during combat operations in southern Lebanon.
An initial IDF investigation found that two anti-tank missiles were fired from north of the Litani River toward a tank unit from the 77th Battalion operating in the area under Division 36. One of the missiles was intercepted, while the second struck the force.
As a result of the impact, Sgt. Volansky was killed. Two officers were lightly wounded, along with two additional soldiers, who were evacuated to hospitals for treatment.

1. Trump Won the Battle, but Will He Take Iran? The Epoch Times
We’re concluding the third week of the Israeli-United States effort to emasculate Iran, and we’re, sort of, in a standoff period. I think people have compared Iran to the black knight in the old Monty Python movie. The more that he loses a leg and arm, the more he thinks that it’s just a scratch.
By all traditional methodology and criteria, Iran is now inert. This is what President Donald Trump keeps saying. The navy is nonexistent. There is no air force. There are no missile defenses that can interrupt allied planes going over the country. The army is useless because nobody is fighting on the ground.
We keep hearing that, and I think accurately, that missiles and drones have been attrited, either by bombing or by being intercepted or being expended, to about 10 percent.
So, what is the remaining obstacle? Target-wise, it’s just two or three. There seems to be caches or secret locations where you have three or four ballistic missiles or three or four drone sites with maybe 20 or 30 drones, and those are very hard to find. Read more

Father God, it would seem that much of this article is opinion regarding when and how the U.S. will declare victory in Iran and go home. Lord God, You know the end from the beginning and all that is in-between. You gave us President Trump, and we believe that as we pray for him, You will continue to give him Your agenda, Your wisdom, Your battle plan—and that includes how we are to facilitate a regime change in Iran. Father we trust in You to carry out all that You want to accomplish; help our leaders to hear Your voice and to follow only Your plans. May we not second guess You and do what seems right in our own eyes; we choose to follow You into Victory as You promised to defeat the enemies of Your people.
Lord, You know where all of the secret stashes of weaponry are located. We ask that You reveal their locations to our military, even supernaturally, that all means to retaliate against the U.S., Israel and neighboring states are obliterated.
Lord, we thank You for setting the goals of this military campaign, and we ask You to set the date for the ultimate victory and withdrawal of our forces. Bless those Iranians who want freedom from tyranny; give them Your strategies, also, and protect the innocent from slaughter. Surround the citizens with Your angels, and cause Your Good News to spread throughout Tehran and other cities, towns and villages within Iran. Jurors agreed with a California woman that the companies were responsible for psychological harms she suffered after becoming addicted to their platforms.
A Los Angeles jury on March 25 found Google and Meta liable for $6 million in damages in a landmark social media trial.
The case pitted a 20-year-old plaintiff identified as “Kaley G.M.” or “K.G.M.” against the two tech giants, asking a jury whether the companies could be held accountable for psychological harms that she suffered as a result of an addiction to their apps, YouTube and Instagram.
Of the $3 million in compensatory damages, Meta was ordered to pay 70 percent and Google 30 percent. The jury awarded another $3 million in punitive damages, including $2.1 million from Meta and $900,000 from Google.
The verdict, which came after nine days of deliberation, sets the stage for thousands of related lawsuits brought by parents, children, school districts, and attorneys general across the country, offering the first blueprint for how to argue such claims—and for what damages might be sought. With the cost of homes increasing and high inflation rates, we see so many young adults facing the reality of never being able to buy a home. Father, You Word says that You will make a way where there seems to be no way! Help, Lord! As the cost of living increases, the Gen Z generation are seeing that they are not able to save for a down payment on a loan even if they could get a loan with the tight lending standards in place now. Lord, we thank You that President Trump has made housing a top priority in his administration and is exploring mortgage options to help first time homebuyers.
We pray that these young adults would not become discouraged or give up hope. Guide them, Lord, as they pay off college loans and search for their options. Bless them, Lord, as they seek jobs with an income high enough to be able to purchase a home and thus fulfill the American dream. Father, let them trust in Your will for them as they search for the kingdom of God and come to the full understanding that You are their provider. In Jesus' name. Amen.

5. The Quiet Collapse of the American Restaurant – Discern Report
I have lost multiple restaurants over the past few years. The final two closed last year in California.
At first, it was easy to explain. COVID-19 hit, and everything changed overnight. Then came the actor strikes, the writer strikes, and the fires that swept through Los Angeles. One by one, these events reshaped the economic and cultural landscape. The city felt different. People moved differently. They spent differently.
Restaurants, especially the kind I built, started to struggle in a way that felt deeper than a temporary downturn. I operated in what I would call the middle, casual, sit-down, mid-priced restaurants. Not fast food, not fine dining. The place where families gather, where people linger, where community happens over a meal.
That middle is disappearing.
I watched a shift in behavior, in real time. The customer who used to go to a casual sit-down restaurant is now ordering at the counter in a fast casual setting, while the person who used to go to fast casual is pulling back even further, choosing fast food because it fits their budget. Once again we see the effects that Covid birthed in America and in the world. As people withdrew into their homes because of the fear of Covid, it changed the dynamics of everything that we have done in the past.
Now we see the beginning effects of what it started in the restaurant business. We see clearly that people are not eating out as much, which is causing so many of our restaurants to close. Lord, when the restaurants close, families who own and work in them lose their livelihood. As both farms and restaurants disappear, we pray that You give Your wisdom to the farmers and restaurant managers to be able to make a comeback and once again be able to have their livelihood restored. As regulation, labor, input costs and debt increases, we can see why the heavy burden of keeping a restaurant open is almost impossible for them to bear.
Father, we know that we must turn to You during these times of change in our nation and withdraw into Your presence because this is the only place that we will find peace and safety. In Jesus' name, we bind the spirits of depression and fear that are trying to enter the beautiful world that You created for us! Let families and churches now come together to help each other during times of need. Father, we humbly pray this prayer and lay it at Your feet. In Jesus' name. Amen.

6. More Than 450 TSA Agents Have Quit During DHS Shutdown – ZeroHedge

More than 450 Transportation Security Administration agents have quit since the start of the partial Department of Homeland Security (DHS) shutdown.
The partial shutdown has been ongoing since March 15, when funding for the agency lapsed without additional funding in place.
Lauren Bis, acting assistant secretary for Public Affairs at DHS, told the Epoch Times in an emailed statement that as of day 38 of the partial shutdown, American travelers are facing hours-long waits at airports across the country.
“More than 450 TSA officers quit and thousands have called out sick from work because they are not able to afford gas, childcare, food, or rent,” Bis said.
“President [Donald] Trump is taking action to deploy hundreds of ICE officers, who are currently funded by Congress, to airports being adversely impacted. This will help bolster TSA efforts to keep our skies safe and minimize air travel disruptions.”
The department stated that callout rates for TSA agents remained elevated, reaching almost 11 percent on March 23, representing 3,200 officers absent from duty. The recorded high callout rate for the shutdown was nearly 12 percent the day before. Read more

God Almighty, This partial shutdown is beyond ridiculous! While Congress is still getting paid, the TSA agents are not, making for security concerns and long lines at the airports! This is absolutely unfair!
Remember by name, Lord, those in Congress who are still voting for this shutdown to continue! How would they like to go a month without their salary? More than 450 TSA officers have quit and the call out rate is rising because they can't afford gas or food for their families.What happened to America, Lord, as we have known it in the past? Forgive us, Lord, for allowing politics to get in the way of common sense. As conversations continue between the Republicans and Democrats, we say there has been too much talk and not enough sincere action to vote to bring this shutdown to an end! Those who have lost wages because of political reasons should be fully recompensated for the loss of salary they have missed. Maybe it would be a good idea for those who are blocking their pay, to pay them out of their own salaries! Lord, pour down Your blessings over those who are not being paid during this shutdown!

These are not casual extracurricular efforts. They are organized frameworks teaching young people to embrace radical socialism, how to protest, recruit, and challenge institutions. For over three weeks, the US and Israel have been at war with the Iranian regime. Their goal is to stop a terrorist state from producing a nuclear bomb while supporting the Iranian people who are out on the streets protesting against the regime that has killed thousands. At the same time, the people in Israel are in and out of bomb shelters multiple times a day.
As we approach Passover and Easter next week, let us join in prayer for the people of Israel and the citizens of Iran. Let us pray for a swift end to this conflict and a decisive victory over the regime in Tehran. Please also keep Jewish communities worldwide in your prayers as they prepare for the holiday during these challenging times.
This Easter, we invite you to set aside a dedicated time before the Lord. Rather than giving in to the season's busyness, may we embrace a time of quiet gratitude, honoring Him for giving His life for us.
