Trump Says Supreme Court Ruling on Ballot Disqualification ‘Unifying’ for the Country

Former President Donald Trump thanked the Supreme Court after it issued a ruling that reversed the Colorado Supreme Court’s disqualification of the Republican candidate from the ballot, saying the decision was unifying for the country.

“I think it will go a long way in bringing our country together, which our country needs,” he said at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, on Monday.

“They worked long, they worked hard, and frankly they worked very quickly on something that will be spoken about a hundred years from now and 200 years from now. Extremely important.”

Story continues below advertisement

President Trump said the ruling essentially affirmed that courts and state officials cannot take a candidate out of a race.

“The voters can take the person out of a race very quickly, but a court shouldn’t be doing that,” he said. “I really do believe that will be a unifying factor.”

He referenced the many challenges to his eligibility over the past several months.

“While most states were thrilled to have me, there were some that didn’t, and they didn’t want that for political reasons,” he said.

By mid-February, his attorneys had counted 88 challenges across 45 states, even as President Trump racked up a winning streak in early primary contests.

The Supreme Court decision will have ended these state-by-state challenges, as the high court ruled that states do not have the authority to use Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to disqualify federal candidates. Congress holds that authority, the high court opined, including the authority to pass legislation that would outline how Section 3 can be enforced. (Fox News) Read more here.
- Lord God, we continue to thank you for this ruling. We agree that it is unifying for the country. We thank you that the voice of the American people can be heard properly and that we have the right to choose who we would like to be serving as the president in this coming election cycle. We pray that your people all over the country will continue to seek your face about how to vote about these decisions. In Jesus' name, amen.

"Evildoers do not understand what is right, but those who seek the LORD understand it fully."  (Proverbs 28:5)

SCOTUS stays Texas law that allows police to arrest, detain illegal migrants
Texas' Senate Bill 4 is being contested by the Department of Justice

The Supreme Court issued a stay against the Texas law that expands police officers' powers to detain migrants, temporarily halting enforcement.

The order, which was decided on Monday, was signed by Associate Justice Samuel Alito. The stay prevents the Texas law, which is called SB 4, from going into effect until 5 p.m. on Mar. 12, at the earliest.

The move from the Supreme Court came after the Department of Justice (DOJ) asked the court to temporarily block enforcement of the state law. The agency had filed an emergency appeal.

SB 4 gives Texas authorities the ability to arrest anyone they believe has crossed into the U.S. illegally. It was signed by Gov. Greg Abbott in December. (Fox News) Read more here.

- We pray Lord for Justice Alito's decision in this matter.  We may not understand the big picture, but we do trust his standards and ethics, so we pray for Your will to be established.  May Governor Abbott be afforded the right to govern according to the Texas and U.S. Constitutions, in Jesus name.

- "“For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them" (Isaiah 61:8)

Cattle Country Ravaged, Tens of Thousands Estimated Dead and Many More Will Soon Be Lost

Thousands of livestock have already been confirmed dead and thousands more will follow in the wake of the wildfires that have devastated the Texas panhandle this week.

The Texas Department Agriculture said in a news release Wednesday that 85 percent of the cattle in Texas were on ranches in the panhandle — millions of animals, it said, “with some towns comprising more cattle than people.”

Two human lives had already been confirmed lost in the fires, CBS News confirmed, but the ultimate toll on cattle from what has become the largest wildfire in the recorded history of Texas, the Smokehouse Creek Fire, will almost certainly range into the tens of thousands.

In addition to killing an unknown number of animals in the fires themselves, inventories of feed hay and grass have also been burned up.

“The fires have left little food or water for livestock,” The Texas Tribune reported Friday. “Some farmers lost everything. Property fences are gone. Hundreds of miles of power lines have burned, leaving no electricity to pump water from wells — which farmers rely on to hydrate their cattle. And it will take years for the land to recover and grow new vegetation for livestock in the area. (Western Journal) Read more here.

- We plead the blood of Jesus over our food supply that no weapon formed against it will prosper. We bind all plots, schemes and plans of the enemy to try to steal, kill and destroy this year's food supplies in all areas that affect our lives. In Jesus' name, amen.

- "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)

The IDF stated, "A short while ago, a terrorist carried out a stabbing attack at the Yitzhar Junction. IDF soldiers operating in the area killed the terrorist in response. The soldiers are continuing scans in the area." (Read more)

2. Israeli Defense Minister Says Hezbollah Aggression Bringing Critical Point Nearer - Algemeiner

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said on Tuesday the continuing tension with the Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah at the border with Lebanon was moving the situation nearer to a military escalation.

Israel and Hezbollah have been trading fire since the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7, fueling concern about the danger of all-out war between the heavily armed adversaries.

“We are committed to the diplomatic process; however, Hezbollah’s aggression is bringing us closer to a critical point in the decision-making regarding our military activities in Lebanon,” Gallant said in a statement after meeting US envoy Amos Hochstein, who is seeking a mediated end to that conflict.

Hezbollah has indicated it will cease fire if Israel's offensive in the Gaza Strip stops, describing its campaign as aimed at supporting Palestinians under fire in Gaza. (Read more)

3. Gaza deal in limbo: Hamas insists permanent ceasefire needed for hostage deal - Jerusalem Post

Hamas publicly insisted Tuesday that a permanent ceasefire must be in place before any deal is implemented for the release of the remaining 134 hostages held in Gaza, in a statement that seemed to run counter to optimism from Washington that an agreement was possible before the start of the holy month of Ramadan.

“In the past two days, the movement presented its position on the proposal put forward by the brotherly Qatari and Egyptian mediators,” senior Hamasofficial Osama Hamdan said in Beirut.

He spoke as ceasefire talks mediated by both Egypt and Qatar continued in Cairo with no sign of a breakthrough. (Read More)

4. Netanyahu promises minimal Ramadan restrictions, including on Temple Mount - World Israel News

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Tuesday evening that Israel will not impose significant security restrictions during the upcoming Islamic holy month of Ramadan, despite the ongoing war with Hamas and Hezbollah and concerns over elevated tensions in Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem.

In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office Tuesday evening, Netanyahu emphasized religious freedom, vowing that the Temple Mount will remain open to worshippers, without major restrictions.

During a meeting with top security brass, Netanyahu said no significant limits would be placed during the first week of Ramadan, with security officials assessing the situation after the first week to determine whether additional restrictions were needed. (Read more)

5. IAF strikes Hezbollah in six areas of Southern Lebanon - JNS

Israeli Air Force jets struck Hezbollah targets in six areas of Southern Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces announced on Tuesday evening.

Targets included a Hezbollah military site in the area of Ayta ash Shab from which two anti-tank missiles were launched towards the area of Biranit earlier in the day. No injuries were reported in Israel in that attack.

The IDF said it also struck a Hezbollah operational command center in Jabal al-Baba; rocket-launch posts in the area of Matmoura; and military compounds in the areas of Majdal Zoun, Houla and Kafra in Southern Lebanon.

Earlier on Tuesday, a volley of rocket attacks launched from Lebanon damaged a building in the northern city of Kiryat Shmona. (Read more)

1. Sinema won’t run for reelection in Arizona - The Hill

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-Ariz.) is opting against running for reelection, providing Democrats a sigh of relief and avoiding what would have been a messy three-way race with an independent incumbent, a Democrat and a Republican.
Sinema made the announcement in a video on social media, arguing that voters aren’t interested in electing members focused on compromise.

“Because I choose civility, understanding, listening, working together to get stuff done, I will leave the Senate at the end of this year,” she said.
The move by Sinema, who changed her party affiliation from Democrat to independent in 2022, means the Arizona Senate race has largely been solidified as a match-up between Democrat Rep. Ruben Gallego (Ariz.) and Republican Kari Lake. (Read more)

- HalleluJah.  Father, we thank You that Senator Sinema has stepped aside Congress, even after stepping away from the Democrat party.  This is a wise move because she is not able to stand as a leader for justice, truth and our Constitution in a courageous way.  We bless her and pray that she finds You as Savior and Friend, in Jesus name.  We pray for Your daughter, Kari Lake, to be elected fairly as senator from Arizona, and that she will be blessed to represent her state and righteousness in Congress, in Jesus name.

- "Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you."  (Hosea 10:12)

2. Biden plans to 'trigger Trump' in new 'aggressive' election strategy - Fox News

In a major shift of his political strategy with just months to go before the election, President Biden wants to take every opportunity to attack former President Trump, according to a recent report

Biden, who has frequently refused to call Trump by name in interviews, "is privately pushing for a much more aggressive approach to 2024: Go for Donald Trump's jugular," Axios reported Tuesday.

The report revealed that "Biden is convinced he'll rattle Trump if he taunts him daily" and that the president has told friends and allies that "he thinks Trump is wobbly, both intellectually and emotionally, and will explode if Biden mercilessly gigs and goads him." (Read more)

- Thank You Father that this is an opportunity for President Trump to rise above the swamp in order to show character and integrity at every turn.  We know he is a trench-fighter from New York, but he is also carrying Your anointing for leadership and governmental authority in this nation and beyond, so we thank You for bringing him right through into Your wisdom.  We pray for revelation and the eyes of the foolish to be opened to the unhindered, unwarranted harassment against President Trump.  We pray for him to be set free and victorious at every turn, in Jesus name.

- "But let justice run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream."  (Amos 5:24)

3. Illegal migrant on terror watchlist arrested at Eagle Pass days before Trump, Biden visits - New York Post

Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal immigrant on the terror watchlist at Eagle Pass, Texas, shortly before former President Donald Trump’s visit to the area, The Post can reveal.
Agents apprehended Colombian national Carlos Obed Yepez-Bedoya, 40, on Feb. 21 and determined he was a “positive match” with the terror watchlist, according to an internal agency memo exclusively provided to The Post.

The memo also said he was flagged as a “group member,” indicating he is associated with a terror organization, although it didn’t give specifics about with which group he is suspected to have affiliation.

Yepez-Bedoya was caught after illegally crossing into the US by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), which initially arrested him, and then alerted the Border Patrol to come pick him up, per the report. The arrest was made as part of Operation Lone Star, in which Texas uses its National Guard and law enforcement units to assist in securing the border. (Read more)

- We praise You, O King, for the courageous work that is being done in Texas to bring the border chaos under control and bless those who are working to make it happen.  We are very thankful this bad guy was apprehended, and we pray that every single other one will be stopped, as well, in Jesus name.  We pray for continued protection over President Trump and his family and pray that You will hinder and obstruct all terrorists crossing into this nation (and worldwide) in Jesus name.

- "With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness."  (Isaiah 26:9)

4. Michelle Obama FINALLY breaks her silence on whether she will be running for president in 2024 - The Daily Mail

Michelle Obama has ruled herself out as a presidential candidate, putting to bed speculation that she would jump in at the last minute to give Democrats an alternative to aging Joe Biden.

The former first lady maintains a star power within Democratic politics, despite largely removing herself from the political scene in recent years.

As former First Lady Michelle Obama has expressed several times over the years, she will not be running for president,’ said Crystal Carson, director of communications for her office, told NBC News. (Read more)

- Glory to God, we thank You Father, for this news.  We pray that this family will find themselves at the business end of Godly justice and repentance, in Jesus name.  We know that there are still many variables on and under the table at this point regarding the elections upcoming, but Father, we commit every single one into Your holy direction.  We pray for You to lead and guide our nation back to its founding covenant roots and role as the ecclesia of God, in Jesus name.

- "Open the gates, That the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in."  (Isaiah 26:2)

5. Democrats announce bill to kick Trump OFF the ballot immediately after the Supreme Court ruled 9-0 that he could be allowed to stay on - The Daily Mail

Top Democrat Jamie Raskin said he is working with fellow liberals in Congress to revive legislation that would disqualify Donald Trump from running for office in light of the new Supreme Court ruling. The high court on Monday ruled 9-0 that only Congress, not Colorado, can ban Trump from the ballot and the former president must be reinstated on the Centennial State's primary ballots.

Raskin, D-Md., who chairs the Oversight Committee, said he was collaborating with colleagues like Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., and Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., to 'revive legislation that we had to set up a process by which we could determine that someone who committed insurrection is disqualified by section three of the 14th amendment.'

Meanwhile political commentator Keith Olbermann wrote on X that the Supreme Court 'betrayed democracy.'
'Its members including Jackson, Kagan and Sotomayor have proved themselves inept at reading comprehension. And collectively the "court" has shown itself to be corrupt and illegitimate. It must be dissolved.' (Read more)

- We pray for a disintegration of all of the vitriol in this matter, Holy King.  We bind hatred, we bind deception, we bind accusation, in Jesus name and pray for these people to be set free and brought into repentance and the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  We pray for a covering over President Trump and the Supreme Court and speak complete failure to the proposed legislation, in Jesus name because he did not "commit insurrection".  Amen.

- "'Indeed before the day was, I am He; And there is no one who can deliver out of my hand; I work, and who will reverse it?'" (Isaiah 43:13)

6. FBI Ramps Up Manhunt For Iranian Intelligence Officer Plotting To Kill Key Trump-Era Officials - The Daily Caller

The FBI is ramping up efforts to hunt down an Iranian intelligence operative who is believed to be plotting the assassination of former senior Trump administration officials.

The FBI field office in Miami, Florida, published a wanted poster on Friday of Majid Dastjani Farahani, an Iranian officer linked to Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security, who is accused of working to recruit individuals to conduct operations on U.S. soil, including assassination and “surveillance activities focused on religious sites, businesses, and other facilities in the United States.”

Among Farahani’s suspected targets are key Trump administration officials whom Iran seeks “revenge” against for the death of Qasem Soleimani, the former head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC) lethal Quds Force (QF). (Read more)

- Mighty God, we pray for this man to be found and stopped, in Jesus name. It is known that revenge has been initiated, but we ask You to stop it in its tracks.  We bind every plan of these people and loose the glory of God in the face of the enemy, in Jesus name.  Thank You Father, for Your mighty hedge of protection to guard and protect those in danger and that dreams of truth will descend upon all who are plotting evil, in Jesus name.

- "As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people From this time forth and forever."  (Psalm 125:2)

7. The View’s Whoopi Goldberg Suggests Biden Could ‘Throw Every Republican in Jail’ if Trump Wins SCOTUS - MSN

Whoopi Goldberg theorized that President Joe Biden could throw “every Republican in jail” if the Supreme Court rules that Donald Trump has immunity in a criminal elections interference case.

Trump has argued he has blanket immunity in his various criminal cases and the Supreme Court will be determining how far that immunity actually goes. Goldberg suggested on Thursday’s The View that Trump’s claims of immunity would give Biden a free pass to do anything, including jailing political rivals.

“Let’s look at a scenario where the Supreme Court says yes, he has all those rights. He is immune from everything. You know what Joe Biden could do since he is presently president? Wooooo!” Golberg said. “He could throw every Republican in jail. I mean, he could!” (Read more)

- Holy One, this type of public contempt being spouted on daily television is so ugly and we pray for all of the people on this show to have powerful Jesus encounters.  Thank You Abba, that most citizens disregard this type of garbage, but we pray for divine strategies to both counter it and bring it to an end, in Jesus name.  We forgive these people for they really know not what they are doing, and we pray for righteousness to overwhelm such accusations, bringing repentance and reconciliation, for the glory of God.  Amen.

- "You answered them, O Lord our God; You were to them God-Who-Forgives, Though You took vengeance on their deeds.  Exalt the Lord our God, And worship at His holy hill; For the Lord our God is holy."  (Psalm 99:8-9)

8. Colorado Democrats Lay Off Americans and Mull Giving Illegals Government Jobs, - Breitbart

Last week, news broke that the city of Denver was preparing to lay off citizens who work for the city due to financial pressures because of Joe Biden’s illegal alien crisis. Now some state Democrats are urging officials to violate federal law and hire illegals for government jobs even as Americans are dismissed.

A spokesperson for Johnston’s office had more to say on the hiring issue. The spokesperson told the Daily Wire that some officials were considering hiring illegals for city jobs because paying illegals to do city work was “not necessarily” any more costly than paying them through welfare programs. But some officials also felt the plan might violate federal employment laws.

Despite growing concern over handing illegal aliens government jobs even without legal work permits, U.S. Sen. John Hickenlooper (D-CO) urged Centennial State officials to ignore federal law and give illegals government jobs anyway. The senator even blasted the feds for threatening to sue cities for ignoring the law and hiring lllegals. (Read more)

- Mighty God, this is such shocking disrespect for the rule of law! This is a United States Senator urging state officials to break the law of the land and take advantage of people who do not even speak the English language.  Righteous Judge, may the people of Colorado absolutely repudiate this scheme and we ask You to let justice flow over these wrongdoers like a mighty torrent, bringing repentance and righteousness, in Jesus name.

- "Rise up, O Judge of the earth; Render punishment to the proud.  Lord, how long will the wicked, How long will the wicked triumph?"  (Psalm 94:2-3)

The Daily Jot

SCOTUS Restores Some Justice

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, March 5, 2024

It wasn’t just the conservative members of the US Supreme Court who pulled the plug on the cesspool of Democratic Party weaponization of the legal system. the liberals on the court saw it plain as day, too. SCOTUS ruled 9-0 that states can’t remove a presidential candidate from the national ballot. In question was Section 3 of the 14th Amendment which prohibits people who have taken part in insurrection from holding office, which some states like Colorado took upon itself to enforce. The high court ruled: “that States may disqualify persons holding or attempting to hold state office. But States have no power under the Constitution to enforce Section 3 with respect to federal offices, especially the Presidency.”

Further the court’s ruling stated: “Under the Amendment, States cannot abridge privileges or immunities, deprive persons of life, liberty, or property without due process, deny equal protection, or deny male inhabitants the right to vote (without thereby suffering reduced representation in the House).” The court explained that the 14th Amendment was instated after the Civil War in context of preventing insurrectionists to hold federal office. The court also maintained that a state’s secretary of state could not arbitrarily preclude a presidential candidate from the ballot as it would “sever the direct link that the Framers found so critical between the National Government and the people of the United States” as a whole.

Why actions speak louder than sirens

I was taking my son to renew his Israeli passport when we were met by an unwelcome surprise. The morning sky was peacefully cloudless and sunny, yet a howling siren pierced the air surrounding Israel’s embassy in Washington, DC. We twisted our heads looking for a police car or an ambulance but didn’t see any flashing lights.

Finally, we found the source: an alarm hooked up to a bullhorn on the sidewalk in front of the embassy grounds. It was framed from behind by posters of the hostages Hamas captured on October 7th and surrounded by a garden of Israeli flags planted firmly in the ground. It was also accompanied by homemade signs taped to every available lamppost, each one insisting that Israel bombs babies and steals land. Later, my son marveled that someone had used markers and posterboard – the same art supplies he uses to draw superheroes – to create those hateful signs.

One or two protesters organized this scene, including a woman in a keffiyah-patterned hijab reiterating the messages through a bullhorn of her own.

We winced from the noise as the security guard checked us into the building. Is it always this loud, I asked. He nodded with classic Israeli unflappability, adding a barely visible eyebrow raise and eye-roll. Inside the consular office, we wondered to ourselves how people can get any work done with the siren blasting through the entire building. Eleven-year-old boys have a high tolerance for noise, but even my son was holding his ears.

Despite the noise, we chatted with the staff in the consular office as they processed our paperwork. Another family came in to renew their child’s passport. Soon enough, our new passport was ready. Everyone did what they needed to do regardless of what was going on outside.

Walking out of the embassy building, I told myself to avoid interacting with the protesters. I took a few photos of the scene, and through her bullhorn, one protester taunted me to keep taking them. Then she turned her bullying on my son: “Ask your mother why Israel kills babies.” Breaking my promise to myself, I screamed at her: “Tell them to give back the babies they stole!” I grabbed my son’s hand and we walked quickly back to our car. We both had tears in our eyes.

Getting yelled at by protesters can’t change what we believe, how we behave, or who we are. This is even more true for Israel itself. It’s surrounded on its borders by loud, dangerous enemies. But inside those borders, no matter how shaken people are, life continues.. .We will continue growing, investing, creating, participating, inventing, engineering, acting, producing. We will not stop. (Times of Israel) Read more here.

- We thank You, O Lord, that the business of the Embassy of Israel continues nonstop; its staff undeterred by the chaos outside its doors. We ask that their demeanor would serve as an example to all of us: the way to overcome an enemy is to simply continue to function with "business as usual," knowing that law enforcement personnel are standing by to protect you. Praise You, Yeshua!  Praise You!

- "No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord."
(Isaiah 54:17)
And Now . . . Lion of Judah: ROAR!!!!
"The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man;
He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

(Isaiah 42:13)

Spring to kick off with back-to-back astronomy events
Astronomical winter is nearing its end, concluding on the earliest equinox in March since 1896 -- and the changing of the seasons will kick off with two events in one night.

An astronomical double-header is slated for one of the first nights of spring, including a precursor to April's highly-anticipated total solar eclipse.

From views of Mercury to a Worm Moon, here are the top astronomy events to mark on your calendar in March.

March 19: Spring equinox

Astronomical spring will kick off in the Northern Hemisphere on Tuesday, March 19, at 11:06 p.m. EDT -- the earliest in March the equinox has taken place since 1896.

March 24: Mercury after sunset

Mercury is one of the most difficult planets to spot in the sky due to how close it is to the sun, but stargazers will have an opportunity to see the elusive planet near the end of the month.

March 25: Worm Moon Eclipse

March's full moon is known as the Worm Moon as the spring soil softens across North America and earthworms start to emerge following the cold winter months, but the upcoming event during the final week of the month will have some added intrigue.

The Good News Corner
Hope rises in Sudan as unreached turn to Christ
Sudan (MNN) — A new report details hundreds of human rights violations and war crimes from 2023 as two generals grapple for control of Sudan. Millions are displaced across Sudan after 11 months of civil war, and at least 12,000 people have died. Unknown thousands are buried in mass graves. Meanwhile, a malnutrition crisis threatens to send the next generation to an early and preventable death; one child dies every two hours at a displacement camp in North Darfur. Against the backdrop of war comes a story of hope. “The war has brought massive questions about Islam,” says John*, a Gospel worker focused on Sudan.

People are “not finding hope in Islam. This war is by Muslims, but they don’t seem to care about the suffering of their people.” We can’t name John’s organization for security purposes, but it partners with Sudanese church leaders helping refugees in neighboring countries. The church leaders offer trauma healing and introduce people to the hope only Christ offers. In one location, “40 came to know the Lord in one week, and a church has started under a tree in the open. These are Muslim background, new believers,” John says. Some new Christians are the first believers in their entire people group. “We are increasing our student body at our school to accept more of these new believers from unreached people groups so that we can ground them and connect them to the body of Christ,” John says. (Mission Network News) Read More and Support Organization Here.

- Abba, we REJOICE in the great news of Muslims in Sudan turning their hearts towards Jesus! We thank You for discipleship among the body of Christ to support and bless these new believers. May they continue to grow strong in their faith, turning others towards Jesus. In the Name of Yeshua, we declare protection and abundant blessings upon "John's Organization" for diligent efforts to touch unreached people-groups with the gospel, bringing a harvest of salvations in Christ! Amen

- "How then will they call upon Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?"  (Romans 10:14)
Thought for the Day
If I say, “My foot slips,”
Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up.

The Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."

Scripture: Let us go up to the mountain of the Lord. Micah 4:2

Lyrics:
I’m pressing on the upward way,
New heights I’m gaining every day;
Still praying as I’m onward bound,
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.

Refrain
Lord, lift me up and let me stand,
By faith, on Heaven’s table land,
A higher plane than I have found;
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.

My heart has no desire to stay
Where doubts arise and fears dismay;
Though some may dwell where those abound,
My prayer, my aim, is higher ground.

Refrain

I want to live above the world,
Though Satan’s darts at me are hurled;
For faith has caught the joyful sound,
The song of saints on higher ground.

Refrain

I want to scale the utmost height
And catch a gleam of glory bright;
But still I’ll pray till Heav’n I’ve found,
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.

Refrain
