Teen Mom Rejects Abortion as Pro-Life Pregnancy Center Helps Save Her Baby
|
|
A teenager just celebrated her first Mother’s Day during her third trimester of pregnancy, and thanked a local pregnancy resource center for encouraging her and her boyfriend to keep the baby. Emily was 17, a senior in high school, when she and her boyfriend Brian found out they were expecting a baby. They found Heartbeat of Miami online and decided to go in for an appointment. “When me and my boyfriend first came in, we were very scared, very nervous, didn’t know what to expect, and all I could think about was how I was going to tell my mom,” she said.
Emily took another pregnancy test at the appointment which confirmed she was pregnant, and she was distressed. “Then after they brought me and my boyfriend to a room and I saw my baby on that ultrasound, and it was very emotional. Because, you know, it’s my baby. Me and my boyfriend made that baby,” she said, and she felt elated. She was nervous to tell her parents, but she said the staff at Heartbeat encouraged her and helped boost her confidence. (LifeNews) Read now

The US president, in Qatar, says Hamas ‘is going to have to be dealt with’; terror group says Israel is not serious on hostage talks
Continuing his Middle East trip, US President Donald Trump said Thursday that October 7, 2023, was “one of the worst days in the history of the world, not only in this region.”
In comments at a meeting of business leaders in Doha, the US president said the Hamas-led assault on Israel, which killed 1,200 people, mostly civilians, was “one of the worst, most atrocious attacks anyone has ever seen.”
More than 5,000 terrorists burst into the south of the country on that day, rampaging murderously through border communities and abducting 251 people to Gaza, where 57 hostages remain in captivity. Terrorists slaughtered families as they huddled in their homes and massacred hundreds of people at an outdoor music festival.
Israel responded with a military campaign to destroy Hamas, topple its regime, and free the hostages. Hamas, Trump said, is “going to have to be dealt with.” (Times of Israel)

Trump Says Negotiators "Getting Close" to Possible Nuclear Deal with Iran

The president said he wanted Iran to be a great country but added, ‘They can’t have a nuclear weapon. ... It’s very simple.’
U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday talked up hopes of a nuclear deal with Iran, saying his administration is in “very serious negotiations” on a long term peace agreement.
Speaking to reporters in Doha, the capital of Qatar, Trump said, “Iran has sort of agreed to the terms” and added, “we’re getting close to maybe doing a deal.”
Negotiators from the United States and Iran have held four rounds of talks since early last month, primarily focused on Iran’s nuclear program.
On May 11, U.S. presidential envoy Steve Witkoff and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi held three-hour-long talks in Muscat, the capital of Oman, which acted as a mediator in the U.S.–Iran nuclear negotiations. We ask for Your favor and blessings on Steve Witkoff, the US presidential envoy, as he works with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, to find enough common ground for an agreement that provides growth within boundaries for Iran and a secure process for confirming that the agreement is being honored for the US. Father God, You know the beginning from the end, You have seen these agreements made and broken. We ask You to intervene in this process to ensure that Iran has enough at stake to make their compliance imperative. Allow Holy Spirit to pour the fear of You into all hearts involved, but particularly for the Iranians who don't believe You exist; give them a knowingness that You are watching. The Persian Gulf: Past, Present and Future
|

|
Recently, there have been rumors of President Trump changing the name of the Persian Gulf to the “Arabian Gulf,” causing great concern and even anger among millions of Iranians. At the same time, there are ongoing reports about the US making a deal with the evil Iranian Islamic regime, concerning Israelis, Iranians, and Americans alike. As Trump visits the Middle East and will overfly the body of water separating Iran and the Arabian peninsula, it’s essential to look at what this means today, historically, and the long-term implications for the future.
While I applaud any effort to undermine, weaken, and eliminate the Islamic regime, which should be a US priority, the idea of renaming the Persian Gulf and negotiating with the ayatollahs is contradictory and, in the end, strengthens the regime.
The Persian Gulf is a body of water that separates Persia (Iran) from the hub of the Arab world. Indeed, changing the name of the Persian Gulf will be a slap in the face to the Islamic Republic, but one they will use to rally support against the US, with renewed chants of “Death to America,” and perpetuate the suffering of the Iranian people.
It will anger average Iranians, as it is one of the few physical reminders in the world of the name Persia and its rich culture, which they yearn to restore, free from the atrocities of the Islamic Republic, which most Iranians reject. The term ‘Persian’ connects Iranians with their national identity, beginning with King Cyrus, the first king of the Persian Empire, considered the father of the Iranian people, from the sixth century BCE.
Iranians also know that Arabs have tried many times to destroy Persian culture and its heritage, starting in the seventh century when Arabs conquered Persia. Persia was forced into the Islamic world, and Islam was forced on the Persian people. The rise of Islam in Persia and the forced conversion of Persians still feels like a foreign ideology where Islam was not indigenous. Trump makes historic UAE visit as first US president in nearly 20 years
|

President Donald Trump on Thursday arrived in the United Arab Emirates for his final stop in the Middle East this week in a visit that marked the first time a U.S. president has traveled to the nation in nearly 20 years, following President George W. Bush's trip in 2008.
Trump, who has secured major business deals first in Saudi Arabia and then Qatar, is expected to announce more agreements with what has long been one of the U.S.’ chief trading partners in the region — though given recently announced trillion-dollar deals, it is unclear what more the Emiratis will agree to.
In March, the UAE pledged a $1.4 trillion investment in the U.S. economy over the next decade through AI infrastructure, semiconductor, energy and American manufacturing initiatives, including a plan to nearly double U.S. aluminum production by investing in a new smelter for the first time in 35 years.
On the eve of the president’s visit to the Middle Eastern nation, the State Department also announced a $1.4 billion sale of CH-47 F Chinook helicopters and F-16 fighter jet parts to Abu Dhabi.
However, lawmakers on Wednesday suggested they may block this sale amid concerns over direct personal business ties, as Trump’s crypto venture has also received a $2 billion investment by a UAE-backed investment firm.
"If I was a betting person, I’d bet that the Emiratis almost certainly kept some things in reserve for President Trump’s actual visit that can be announced when he’s on the ground in Abu Dhabi," John Hannah, former national security advisor to Dick Cheney and current Randi & Charles Wax senior fellow at the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA), told Fox News Digital. "I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we see some new items unveiled or some additional details put out on some of the earlier announcements."
"The UAE has clearly staked its future on being the Middle East leader in a wide range of 21st-century technologies, from AI to chips to space," he added. May we see much fruit from this trip that will bring glory to Your name. We ask that our president only have appointments and meetings with those You have ordained. May he have the mind of Christ—godly wisdom—in every conversation and response. We ask that Your entire agenda be accomplished and set in place, prior to Trump’s return to the U.S. Thank You for his total protection-- body, mind and spirit!

1. Netanyahu: ‘We’re making all efforts to bring about release of all our hostages’ - JNS
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday night that Israel was not giving up “on a single one” of its war aims.
While leaving Israel Defense Forces headquarters in Tel Aviv, Netanyahu said that he had spoken earlier in the day with U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff regarding the release of the remaining 58 hostages in Gaza, and would discuss the matter with U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee later that night.
“We’re making all efforts, including today, to bring about the release of all our hostages and to achieve our war aims. We’re not giving up on a single one,” Netanyahu said in a video post on X, contradicting claims of critics, such as the Hostages and Missing Families Forum. (Read more)

2. Israel warns Hamas: Without progress, ground offensive begins once Trump leaves - Israel Hayom
Hamas continues to reject a partial deal based on the Witkoff framwork, and as a result, Israel conveyed a message on Thursday that the offensive would begin shortly - sources familiar with the details told Israel Hayom.
If there is no meaningful progress in the very near future, the sources added, Israel may initiate the ground maneuver it has been threatening to launch for several weeks now.
Some of the reservists expected to take part in the operation, or replace regular forces who will be involved, have already been mobilized. Once a decision is made, the IDF is expected to call up additional troops to expand the offensive. (Read more)

3. Israel agrees to resume Gaza aid after two month freeze, foundation says - Axios
The Israeli government has agreed to resume humanitarian aid delivery to Palestinians in Gaza, the new Gaza Humanitarian Foundation(GHF) said in a statement on Wednesday.
Why it matters: Israel has frozen all supplies of food, water and medicine to Gaza for two months, and the UN has warned food supplies will run out within days. The foundation said Israel had agreed to resume aid imminently though the Israeli government has not confirmed that.
- Resuming aid delivery was the key condition of the GHF — established with backing from the U.S. and Israel — for it launching a new aid delivery mechanism in Gaza, which Israel says will allow aid to be delivered without being controlled by Hamas.
- But the announcement comes as Israel is preparing for a massive operation to flatten and occupy the entire enclave if no ceasefire deal is reached this week.
- Israeli officials did not immediately respond to Axios' requests for comment on the claim they had agreed to immediately unfreeze aid.

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa was not the only one to celebrate US President Donald Trump’s decision on Tuesday to lift sanctions on Syria.
“I think this is an opportunity that President Sharaa needs to seize and truly use to rebuild Syria into a free and prosperous nation,” Rep. Marlin Stutzman (R-Indiana) told The Jerusalem Post on Thursday.
“If we can relieve some of that pressure and start the rebuilding process, I think that would be a positive step.”

5. IDF says it successfully intercepted ballistic missile from Yemen - Times of Israel
A ballistic missile launched at Israel by the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen was successfully intercepted by air defenses a short while ago, the military says.
There are no immediate reports of injuries or damage in the attack.
Sirens had sounded across central Israel and the Jerusalem area. Preceding the sirens by some three minutes, an early warning was issued to residents, alerting civilians of the long-range missile attack via a push notification on their phones. (Read more)

1. How NASA May Have Just Pinpointed the Exact Day Jesus Died – Prophecy Newswatch
NASA scientists have calculated the date a lunar eclipse occurred in A.D. 33 that may pinpoint the day of Jesus' crucifixion.
In Genesis 1, we read that God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years."
So it's not surprising there would be a least one sign in the heavens to mark the death of Jesus as a sacrifice for the sins of the world.
The New York Post reported that NASA's "astronomical models suggest that a lunar eclipse turned the moon red over Jerusalem on Friday, April 3, 33 AD -- a date many scholars tie to Jesus' death."

As President Trump has now visited the nations of the Arab Peninsula, we pray that the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, would heed his wise words, and not allow Iran to place their terrorist groups on this land. Dear Lord, we pray that this information may be used to bring the unbelieving and the unsaved into believing in the supernatural acts of God and into salvation through the sacrificial death of Jesus. We ask that You would put a guard over all this information so that Your people are protected from any form of persecution. As with many things of a technical nature, this can be used for good as well as evil and we pray that this would be used only for good by honest and accountable people. 3. Gavin Newsom Scales Back Plan to Provide Illegal Aliens With Free Healthcare as California’s Financial Crisis Deepens – The Gateway Pundit
California Governor Gavin Newsom is scaling back his ludicrous pledge to offer free healthcare to all illegal aliens in the state.
His 2025–26 budget proposal, released Wednesday, includes a freeze on new Medi-Cal enrollments for adults without legal immigration status and imposes a $100 monthly premium for those already enrolled. The freeze would begin in 2026, affecting new applicants over the age of 19.
According to Newsom’s office, the change will not impact those currently enrolled or those receiving limited emergency or maternity coverage. The new premium would apply starting in 2027 to all adults with what the administration calls “unsatisfactory immigration status,” a term that includes both illegal aliens and certain legal residents ineligible for federal Medicaid. We pray that this man's policies will continue to move into the area of the reasonable function of government and away from the far left thinking of the past. 4. Former National Guardsman Arrested in Foiled ISIS-Linked Attack at Michigan Base – The Epoch Times
The DOJ says the 19-year-old planned a mass-shooting and gave drones, ammo, and attack training to undercover agents posing as terrorists.
A 19-year-old former Michigan Army National Guardsman was arrested
on May 13 after he attempted to carry out a plan for a mass shooting at a U.S. military base in Warren, Michigan, on behalf of ISIS, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ).
The DOJ announced in a statement that Ammar Abdulmajid-Mohamed Said, of Melvindale, a community near Dearborn, has been charged with attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization and distributing information related to a destructive device. (Read more)

Defense officials detected 350 unauthorized drone incursions around U.S. military bases last year

Dozens of drones that traipsed over Langley Air Force base in late 2023 revealed an astonishing oversight: Military officials did not believe they had the authority to shoot down the unmanned vehicles over the U.S. homeland.
A new bipartisan bill, known as the COUNTER Act, seeks to rectify that, offering more bases the opportunity to become a "covered facility," or one that has the authority to shoot down drones that encroach on their airspace.
The new bill has broad bipartisan and bicameral support, giving it a greater chance of becoming law. It’s led by Armed Services Committee members Tom Cotton, R-Ark., and Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., in the Senate, and companion legislation is being introduced by August Pfluger, R-Texas, and Chrissy Houlahan, D-Pa., in the House.
Currently, only half of the 360 domestic U.S. bases are considered "covered facilities" that are allowed to engage with unidentified drones. The legislation expands the narrow definition of a covered facility under current statute to allow all military facilities that have a well-defined perimeter to apply for approval that allows them to engage with drones.
The legislation also stipulates that the secretary of defense delegate authority to combatant commanders to engage drone attacks, cutting down on time to get approval through the chain of command in emergency situations.

Trump Weighs In on Supreme Court Case Involving Birthright Citizenship

The president has argued that birthright citizenship was meant to grant citizenship to the children of enslaved people after the Civil War.

President Donald Trump on Thursday morning weighed in on the U.S. Supreme Court hearing arguments in a case involving his order to limit birthright citizenship, arguing that the current law is being exploited.
Earlier this year, Trump issued an executive order to limit birthright citizenship, which was halted by several federal judges. The case is now in the hands of the Supreme Court after the administration submitted an emergency appeal to the highest court.
“Big case today in the United States Supreme Court. Birthright Citizenship was not meant for people taking vacations to become permanent Citizens of the United States of America, and bringing their families with them, all the time laughing at the ‘SUCKERS’ that we are!” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Thursday.
He said the United States “is the only Country in the World that does this, for what reason, nobody knows—But the drug cartels love it!”
Going further, Trump said that the 14th Amendment of the Constitution, which was ratified in 1868 and three years after the end of the Civil War, was designed to provide citizenship to children born to enslaved people.

Trump tells Gulf leaders Iran must end support of proxies under nuclear deal
|

US President Donald Trump told Gulf leaders on Wednesday that he urgently wants “to make a deal” with Iran to wind down its nuclear program, but that Tehran must end its support of proxy groups throughout the region as part of any potential agreement.
Iran “must stop sponsoring terror, halt its bloody proxy wars, and permanently and verifiably cease pursuit of nuclear weapons,” Trump said in remarks at a meeting of leaders from the Gulf Cooperation Council hosted by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh. “They cannot have a nuclear weapon.”
The US and Iran have engaged in four rounds of talks since early last month, focused on Iran’s nuclear program. Trump has repeatedly said he believes brokering a deal is possible, but that the window is closing. (Times of Israel) Read more here.

NASA Studies Reveal Hidden Secrets About Interiors of Moon, Vesta

Analyzing gravity data collected by spacecraft orbiting other worlds reveals groundbreaking insights about planetary structures without having to land on the surface.
Although the Moon and the asteroid Vesta are very different, two NASA studies use the same technique to reveal new details about the interiors of both.
In the lunar study, published May 14 in the journal Nature, researchers developed a new gravity model of the Moon that includes tiny variations in the celestial body’s gravity during its elliptical orbit around Earth. These fluctuations cause the Moon to flex slightly due to Earth’s tidal force — a process called tidal deformation — which provides critical insights into the Moon’s deep internal structure.
Using their model, the researchers produced the most detailed lunar gravitational map yet, providing future missions an improved way to calculate location and time on the Moon. They accomplished this by analyzing data on the motion of NASA’s GRAIL (Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory) mission, whose spacecraft, Ebb and Flow, orbited the Moon from Dec. 31, 2011, to Dec. 17, 2012.
In a second study, published in the journal Nature Astronomy on April 23, the researchers focused on Vesta, an object in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. Using NASA’s Deep Space Network radiometric data and imaging data from the agency’s Dawn spacecraft, which orbited the asteroid from July 16, 2011, to Sept. 5, 2012, they found that instead of having distinct layers as expected, Vesta’s internal structure may be mostly uniform, with a very small iron core or no core at all.
