'God Is Not Done with America':

Thousands Gather on National Mall to Rededicate US to God
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Thousands of believers gathered all day Sunday on the National Mall in Washington for Rededicate 250: a national jubilee of prayer, praise, and thanksgiving.

As worship leaders sang about a divine move upon the land, speakers at this historic event delivered a unified message throughout the day: America's future depends on turning back to God.

Pastor Samuel Rodriguez said, "On this 250th anniversary of our nation's founding, we gather to prayerfully declare the following. Here it is. America is not done with God. And God is not done with America. Now. So join me. Please let us pray. Let us pray. Father, we come before you today not merely to remember, but to rededicate. Not just to reflect on history, but to realign our future."

The gathering centered on a call to rebuild lives, restore faith, and rededicate the nation by placing its hope in God.

Historic reflections also played a major role. Speakers pointed to America's beginning, noting that in times of national uncertainty, the founders called the country to prayer and fasting. (CBN) Read More and Watch Video Here
Abba Father we REJOICE for the presence of Your Holy Spirit this weekend, as Christians gathered at the Washington D.C. Mall and across our nation to repent, worship and declare the United States of America as 'One Nation Under God.' We lift praise for Your mercy and grace in this rededication and for the power experienced through believers crying out in repentance. We give all GLORY to You, Almighty God, for the spiritual shift that occurred through this historic event, as the mighty Name of Jesus Christ was proclaimed across our nation!  Continue to Bless President Trump, that he may hear only Your voice and is obedient to Your Call, while standing in the gap for Christians here and around the world. We wait upon You Lord and decree an awakening of the church, standing boldly in TRUTH and RIGHTEOUSNESS, so that our Land may be healed and fountains of living-water may forever flow! By the Blood of Jesus Christ, we pray- Amen and Amen.

Texas Children's Hospital Settlement Deals Massive Defeat to Medical Trans Agenda
The U.S. Department of Justice on Friday announced a settlement with Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) in which the hospital not only committed to never again carry out gender transition procedures on minors, but also agreed to open the nation’s first detransitioner clinic and fully fund it for five years. TCH gained notoriety in 2023 when a whistleblower provided evidence that the hospital continued to secretly administer gender transition hormones to minors, even after the Texas legislature had made it illegal.
“Today’s resolution protects vulnerable children, holds providers accountable, and ensures those harmed receive the care they need,” said Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. “The Justice Department will use every weapon at its disposal to end the destructive and discredited practice of so-called ‘gender-affirming care’ for children.”
The settlement, reached in coordination with the Texas Attorney General’s office, requires TCH to “establish the first-ever multidisciplinary clinic designed to provide medical care to patients who were subjected to ‘gender-transition’ procedures,” the state AG’s office said. “This Detransition Clinic will help patients reverse the damage caused by ideologically-motivated physicians who harmed patients by performing dangerous medical interventions for the purpose of ‘transitioning’ them.” (The Washington Stand) Read more here.
Thank You Lord, that this hospital will be required to reverse the destructive procedures that have ruined the lives of so many children. We bind the plans of any politicians or those who seek office to promote those procedures and declare they will fail in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”  (1 Corinthians 6: 19-20)

Treasury issues temporary 30-day license for Russian oil access
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Monday that the U.S. Treasury Department is issuing a temporary 30-day general license allowing some of the world’s most vulnerable nations to access Russian oil currently stranded at sea.
".@USTreasury is issuing a temporary 30-day general license to provide the most vulnerable nations with the ability to temporarily access Russian oil currently stranded at sea," Bessent wrote Monday on X.
"This extension will provide additional flexibility, and we will work with these nations to provide specific licenses as needed. This general license will help stabilize the physical crude market and ensure oil reaches the most energy-vulnerable countries.
"It will also help reroute existing supply to countries most in need by reducing China’s ability to stockpile discounted oil."
The move reflects a balancing act for Washington: keeping pressure on Moscow through sanctions while trying to prevent oil market disruptions from hitting poorer, energy-dependent countries hardest. (Fox News) Read more here.

Lord, we pray that the kindness of the Trump administration toward poorer nations regarding this action will not be abused. We pray for Your protection over this plan.

‘Clock Is Ticking’ for Iran to Accept a Deal, Trump Warns:

‘Get Moving, FAST, or There Won’t Be Anything Left’
President Donald Trump warned Sunday that the “clock is ticking” for Iran to strike a deal to bring the conflict to an end, urging Tehran to move quickly toward an agreement as he warned the regime risks being “hit badly” if negotiations continue to stall amid mounting questions over whether diplomacy can prevent renewed fighting.
Writing on Truth Social on Sunday, Trump warned Tehran that “the Clock is Ticking,” declaring that Iran had better “get moving, FAST, or there won’t be anything left of them.”
“TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!” Trump added.
Speaking in a phone interview with Axios later on Sunday, Trump said he still believes Iran wants a deal but warned Tehran must quickly present a stronger proposal if it hopes to avoid renewed and significantly harsher U.S. action.
“We want to make a deal,” Trump said, while signaling frustration with Tehran’s current position in the negotiations. “They are not where we need them to be.”
Trump then warned: “They will have to get there or they will be hit badly.” (Breitbart) Read morel

Lord, please guide our President to make the right choices as he moves against the evil Iranian regime. We pray for Your protection over any and all actions of our military as they follow orders. As the President postponed the plan that was set for May 19 from the requests of Arab nations, let Your plan and wisdom prevail over the ultimate actions.

Trump says Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, second in command of ISIS globally, killed in US-Nigerian operation

President Donald Trump announced late Friday that U.S. and Nigerian forces carried out an operation that killed a global ISIS leader.

Trump identified the terrorist as Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, whom he described as ISIS’s second-in-command globally.

"Tonight, at my direction, brave American forces and the Armed Forces of Nigeria flawlessly executed a meticulously planned and very complex mission to eliminate the most active terrorist in the world from the battlefield," Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

"Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, second in command of ISIS globally, thought he could hide in Africa, but little did he know we had sources who kept us informed on what he was doing," Trump continued. "He will no longer terrorize the people of Africa, or help plan operations to target Americans." (Fox News) Read more here.

Holy God of Justice – with the continual slaughter of Nigerian Christians, we thank you that some steps are being taken to remove terrorists. We pray that You will help Your people be safe from the evil actions of the enemy.

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Netanyahu holds second security meeting as Israel braces for possible resumption of war with Iran - i24 News

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a second limited security cabinet meeting within 24 hours on Monday, following an earlier high-level security consultation. An Israeli official told i24NEWS, "There is a high level of alert ahead of a possible resumption of the war by the end of the week."

The back-to-back sessions follow Netanyahu's phone conversation with Trump on Sunday. According to informed sources, Trump updated the prime minister on his recent visit to China, but the call yielded no clear resolution on the path forward. Preparations for all scenarios are continuing, with intensive coordination underway between Jerusalem and Washington. This all comes ahead of what officials are calling a potential "moment of truth."

The 30-minute call between Netanyahu and Trump on Sunday focused on the possibility of renewing fighting in Iran. Following the call, Trump posted a warning to Iran on his Truth Social platform. "For Iran, the clock is ticking, and they better get moving, FAST, or there won't be anything left of them. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!" he wrote. (Read more)

2. Minister Cohen to Arutz Sheva: If Iran rejects US dictates, a strike will happen
- Israel National News

Energy and Infrastructure Minister Eli Cohen is convinced that the campaign against the Iranian axis of evil is at a critical turning point.

In an interview in the Arutz Sheva-Israel National News studio, he stated, "The equation is very simple - if Iran does not accept the dictates of the United States, there will undoubtedly be a military strike. Iran is no longer in a position to keep dragging its feet. We are seeing Trump’s actions regarding the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which are leading to an economic collapse. Iran has been hit very hard militarily, and Trump is determined to achieve the war’s objectives - either diplomatically or through military action."

When the minister was asked about the potential price the Israeli home front might pay in the event of such a direct confrontation, he replied, "The State of Israel has already proven that it knows how to defend itself, and furthermore, how to strike back with precision and lethality." (Read more)

3. Israel Warns of Escalating Terror Threat in West Bank as Iran, Turkey, Hamas Seek to Stoke Extremism - Algemeiner

Israeli security officials have warned of a rapidly deteriorating security situation in the West Bank, citing deepening Iranian and Turkish involvement alongside Hamas efforts to expand terrorist infrastructure and orchestrate attacks across the territory.

According to the Israeli news outlet Walla, defense officials point to a growing role by Iran, Turkey, and Hamas in financing, directing, and sustaining terrorism, while also leveraging Gaza-linked networks to expand coordination, incitement, and operational activity across the West Bank.

With Israeli communities in the West Bank steadily expanding, the local military command is under significant strain, operating with 22 battalions while confronting a wide range of security challenges, including dismantling terrorist infrastructure, disrupting terrorist financing channels, locating weapons caches, protecting settlements, and stopping arms smuggling from Jordan. (Read more)

4. IDF naval commandos begin seizure of Gaza-bound flotilla - Israel Hayom

IDF naval commandos began boarding vessels of the "Sumud" Gaza-bound flotilla on Monday in a daytime operation, preparing to confront activists from the IHH Turkish organization, whose members attacked Israeli forces in 2010. According to multiple reports, Shayetet 13 (the IDF's elite naval commando unit) operatives carried out the boarding operation. In at least one instance, flotilla members were seen with their hands raised, and the takeover proceeded without incident. The flotilla consisted of 57 vessels that departed Turkey last week.

The Foreign Ministry weighed in on the flotilla Monday, declaring that Israel would not permit any violation of the lawful naval blockade on the Gaza Strip and labeling the convoy a "provocation" that carried no humanitarian aid for Gaza residents.

"Once again, provocation for the sake of provocation: another so-called 'humanitarian aid flotilla' with no humanitarian aid. This time, two violent Turkish groups – Mavi Marmara and IHH, the latter designated a terrorist organization – are part of the provocation," the Foreign Ministry statement read. (Read more

1. Trump talks up trade deals with China, but experts see no big wins for U.S. - CBS News

This week's summit between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping could ease economic tensions between the countries in the short term, but failed to deliver any breakthrough trade deals, according to some experts.

"I was expecting that China would announce mega purchases of U.S. agriculture, energy and airplanes," Wendy Cutler, a former negotiator in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, told CBS News. "So far, it doesn't seem like Trump and his team have a lot to show for the visit."

President Trump on Friday said the meeting in Beijing had produced "fantastic trade deals" and characterized the trip as an "incredible visit," while Chinese officials opened the door to new areas of cooperation with the U.S.

"It looks like both sides are saying they got somewhere, but we are not there yet — we are still waiting," said David Meale, head of the China practice at Eurasia Group, a political risk consulting firm. "Neither side has come out with a clear statement of details. I don't think that means it's a failure or that those deals don't exist. They just need to cross the Ts and dot the Is on a few things. 2. Trump leaves China without making a ‘determination’ on Taiwan arms sale - Washington Examiner

President Donald Trump has yet to make a determination on the delayed American arms sale to Taiwan, an issue that Chinese President Xi Jinping raised during their closed-door talks.

Trump left Beijing on Friday following the two-day summit, and he spoke with reporters for roughly a half-hour en route to Air Force One’s refueling stop in Alaska.

Trump confirmed that he and Xi discussed Taiwan a lot, reiterating that Xi is firmly against Taiwanese independence and that the two leaders had a “very good understanding” of the issue.

The president said that he didn’t “think” that Taiwan would drag the U.S. into “conflict” with China.

“[Xi] doesn’t want to see a war,” he stated. “He doesn’t want to see a movement for independence. He says, ‘Look, you know, we’ve had it for thousands of years, and then had a certain period of time and left, and we were going to get it back, and the Korean War and a lot of things happened with all this.'”

“Taiwan, he feels very strongly. I made no commitment,” Trump continued, adding that he would “make a determination” soon but not before speaking to Taiwanese President William Lai. (Read more)

Lord, we pray wisdom for President Trump as he makes his decision whether to sell these arms to Taiwan.

3. Trump-Xi summit: US and China conclude 'very successful' talks but few deals confirmed - BBC

US President Donald Trump left Beijing after a two-day summit saying he had struck "fantastic trade deals, great for both countries", but few details have emerged on what the two superpowers agreed.

Trump arrived for a high-stakes summit with Chinese leader Xi Jinping on Wednesday, accompanied by several CEOs: a high-profile business delegation spanning agriculture, aviation, electric vehicles and artificial intelligence (AI) chips.

Trade was near the top of the agenda despite recent tensions over the Iran war, and businesses hoped for key deals as well as an extension of the tariff truce that is due to expire in November.

The visit was defined by warm rhetoric and symbolism. Trump was wooed with a packed itinerary that included an honour guard, a state banquet, and an invitation to the exclusive compound where China's Communist Party leaders live and work.

The US president seemed impressed and invited Xi to the White House in September. He said talks had been "very successful", while Xi called it a "historic and landmark" visit.

China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi confirmed on Friday that Xi would visit the White House in the autumn.

But neither side has announced trade breakthroughs or significant business deals. (Read more)

Lord we just pray for a report to the American people on what type of trade deals and business deals were accomplished with the visit to China.

The Daily Jot

Word in the Wilderness

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, May 18, 2026

The fourth book of the Torah opens with both a census and a calling. Bamidbar, “In the Wilderness,” comes from Numbers 1:1, while the English title Numbers reflects the Greek emphasis on the census. This was far more than a headcount. God numbered Israel’s fighting-age men because they would need courage and obedience to claim the Promised Land, while reminding us that every person matters to Him. This is the story of a people between redemption and inheritance, standing in the space between deliverance from Egypt and possession of promise, learning that wilderness seasons are often where God does His deepest work. The wilderness was never random wandering. It was ordered and full of divine assignment.

The Levites camped around the Tabernacle, forming a sacred buffer around the presence of God. Each clan had distinct duties. The Kohathites carried the holy furnishings. The Gershonites handled the curtains and coverings. The Merarites transported beams, bases, and structural supports (Numbers 4:15). No role was insignificant. God is a God of order, and every assignment mattered to the mission. The same remains true in the body of Messiah. Some preach, some teach, some serve quietly behind the scenes, but all labor has eternal value. The Kingdom does not function through spectators. Every believer carries a God-given responsibility, and faithfulness in that calling strengthens the whole body. Read More

Trump’s Greenland Envoy Landry Arrives in Nuuk For 1st Trip to Island
In an exclusive interview with The Epoch Times, Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry, the United States’ special envoy to Greenland, described his plans for his inaugural trip to the Danish territory, scheduled for May 17 through May 20.
He said his trip will be confined to Nuuk, Greenland’s capital, where he arrived on May 17. According to Landry, it will center on the annual Future Greenland conference, a forum for discussing business opportunities on the world’s largest island.
Describing the visit as a trade mission, the special envoy said he hoped to explore mining, tourism, and seafood, as well as the possibility of an American health care initiative to address tuberculosis, hepatitis D, and other issues in Greenland’s small and scattered villages.
“This is basically a trip that gives us an opportunity to collect information on what Greenlanders view as opportunities,” he said.
Landry said he will be joined by the United States’ ambassador to Denmark, Ken Howery, as well as the State Department’s Ali Motamedi.
“The ambassador’s team has been working closely with the Future Greenland conference and the stakeholders that are in Greenland, trying to identify those industries or stakeholders who want to expand opportunities with the United States, and those are the meetings that we’re going to be having,” Landry said. (Epoch Times) Read more here.
Lord, we ask Your favor and blessing over Special Envoy Landry as he works to bring better relations with Greenland. The country possesses important resources for America’s business and even military.

Fast-moving Sandy Fire burns 184 acres in Southern California,
forcing evacuations in Simi Valley area
Evacuation orders have been issued as a fast-moving brush fire burned in Southern California on Monday.
The Sandy Fire broke out around 10:50 a.m., according to the Ventura County Fire Department. Air tankers and mutual aid have been requested to help battle the flames.
As of 11:30 a.m. local time, the brush fire was estimated at 184 acres and was threatening nearby structures.
Evacuation orders were issued for residents in parts of Simi Valley—located about 41 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles—and into the Thousand Oaks area.
"We have a good number of air resources on hand," a fire department spokesperson told "America Reports."
Around 200 personnel were battling the fire, as well as five helicopters and three air tankers, he said. (Fox News) Read more here.
Lord, we pray that You will protect the residents who are being required to flee at this time. We cover the land with Your mercy as this fire grows. Let us stand in the gap for these people and the land, and ask for You to bring much-needed rain to put out the fire.

DOJ: Iraqi nat’l arrested, charged with providing material support
to terrorist groups and directing attacks against Americans
Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi, a 32-year-old commander within the Iraqi terrorist group Kata’ib Hizballah, has been arrested and charged with providing material support to foreign terrorist organizations and directing a wave of international attacks.
According to a Department of Justice (DOJ) complaint unsealed in Manhattan federal court, Al-Saadi worked closely with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to coordinate at least 18 terrorist attacks and attempted attacks in Europe and two in Canada since March 2026.
The global plot expanded to American soil when Al-Saadi unwittingly attempted to orchestrate a synchronized bombing and arson campaign against prominent Jewish institutions in New York City, Los Angeles, and Scottsdale, Arizona.
He was reportedly apprehended in Turkey and transferred into FBI custody after sending a $3,000 cryptocurrency down payment to an undercover law enforcement officer to carry out the attack on a Manhattan synagogue, according to a complaint unsealed in federal court on Friday. Israel At 78: The Growing Call To Rebuild The Third Temple
The banners waving through Jerusalem this year were not only blue-and-white Israeli flags. During the recent Jerusalem Day celebrations, another symbol appeared again and again among crowds marching through the Old City: images of a future Third Temple standing upon the Temple Mount. For some, it was political theater. For others, it was a declaration of destiny.

The timing felt significant to many Israelis. This year marked Israel's 78th birthday as a modern state -- a milestone many religious Jews increasingly connect to what they see as the gradual restoration of biblical Israel after nearly 2,000 years of exile. To them, the rebirth of the nation in 1948 was never the end of the story. Jerusalem's reunification in 1967 was another step. And now, growing numbers believe the next phase may center around the Temple Mount itself.

What was once considered a fringe religious aspiration inside Israel is steadily moving closer to the mainstream. The idea of rebuilding a Third Temple in Jerusalem -- on the very site where the First and Second Temples once stood -- is no longer confined to obscure activist circles. It is now openly discussed by rabbis, politicians, members of the military, and growing segments of Israeli society still reeling from the trauma of October 7.

And for Christians who study Bible prophecy, those developments are impossible to ignore. (Prophecy News Watch) Read More
