Hundreds Baptized, 2,000 Connected to Churches as 5,500 Find 'Freedom in Jesus' at U of Cincinnati
|
|
Ministry leaders and organizers with UniteUS say they have witnessed "just a glimpse of what heaven will be like" after more than 5,000 young people joined together to worship and praise Jesus on Wednesday night. UniteUS is a college campus evangelistic movement marked by salvations, water baptisms, and worship. The latest event, which took place at the University of Cincinnati, saw the Spirit of God move once again over the lives of thousands of students.
According to the organization, 5,500 young people attended the event, thousands of them rededicated their lives or made first-time decisions for salvation, and 2,000 students were connected to local churches and ministries. Hundreds who attended the event took the next step in their faith by getting baptized outside of the Cincinnati Red Stadium. Shouts of joy peeled through the crowd of onlookers as students, who were baptized by other students in the back of pickup trucks, came out of the water. (CBN) Read More Here
Father, we REJOICE for Holy Spirit moving powerfully among the lives of Gen Z's on college campuses! We ask for continual blessings upon UniteUS ministry for leading Spirit-filled worship, life-changing salvations and baptisms across our nation. May each young believer connect to a local church and be mentored in God's Word . We give You PRAISE and GLORY for ushering the next generations into Your holy Kingdom, bringing in righteousness, love for God and thirst in reading His Word!! By the Blood of the Lamb we pray, Amen and Amen.

Senate Democrats cave, open path to
reopening government
|
|
|
Several Senate Democrats crossed the aisle despite getting no guaranteed deal on Obamacare subsidies
|
|
The Senate took a massive step forward on its way to reopening the government on Sunday, with a group of Senate Democrats caving and joining Republicans in their bid to pass a revamped plan to end the shutdown.
Signs that the shutdown, which entered its 40th day, could be ending became more and more clear as the day went on, particularly with the unveiling of a bipartisan package of spending bills that lawmakers hope to attach to a modified bill to reopen the government.
Eight Senate Democrats crossed the aisle to mark the first step in the GOP’s quest to end the shutdown. Many of the lawmakers that splintered from Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., were among those engaged in bipartisan talks over the last several weeks.
Among the defectors were Sens. Angus King, I-Maine, John Fetterman, D-Pa., Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nev., Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., Maggie Hassan, D-N.H., Jacky Rosen, D-Nev., Tim Kaine, D-Va., and the number two Democrat in the Senate, Dick Durbin, D-Ill.
And the shutdown won’t end in the Senate, given that the changes to the legislation will need to be greenlit by the House before making it to President Donald Trump’s desk.
Democrats could still extract pain through procedural hurdles unless there is unanimous agreement from all 100 senators to move forward with the remaining votes.
The Obamacare issue is still bubbling on both sides of the aisle, however. Senate Republicans slammed the state of healthcare throughout Saturday, particularly over how the subsidies funneled money to insurance companies. (Fox News) Read more here.

Lord God, for the past 40 days we have cried out to You to move upon the hearts of our senators to end this shutdown. We thank You, O Lord, that this terrible time, enduring a "frozen government", has now about to come to an end. We thank You, too, for the courage demonstrated by the eight Democratic senators who have now broken rank with Speaker Schumer to that this shutdown will end. Thank You, O Lord, for hearing our prayer. Amen and amen!

And He heard me from His holy hill." (Psalm 3:4)

Democratic lawmakers reel after Senate votes to reopen government: 'Republican-made healthcare crisis'
|
|
|
Senate Minority Leader Schumer voted against continuing resolution as Sanders warns 15M could lose Medicaid
|
|
|
The Senate struck a late-Sunday deal to begin the path to reopening the government after eight Democrats joined Republicans to reach 60 votes, sparking backlash from those who opposed the spending bill.
Democratic leaders voiced intense opposition, arguing that the continuing resolution fails to address the nation’s worsening healthcare challenges. Several prominent lawmakers spoke out immediately following the vote, framing it as a test of priorities and moral leadership.
Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D–N.Y., "is no longer effective and should be replaced."
"If you can’t lead the fight to stop healthcare premiums from skyrocketing for Americans, what will you fight for?" Khanna asked.
Schumer voted no on the procedural vote. (Fox News) Read more here.

|
Father God, we thank You that Rep. Kho has spoken the truth about the leadership of his party. We agree that the Democrats need to appoint a new leader, as soon as possible!
Lord, we pray, too, that the lies that the Democratic Party have told over the years will continue to be exposed. We pray that evil continues to be torn down, and that our leaders and our representatives would restore truth and dignity back to this country. We continue to declare unity over our government and over all American citizens, in Jesus' name.Amen!

Iran's 'water bankruptcy' will weaken regime and nuclear program, UN expert warns
|
|
|
President Pezeshkian warns of evacuations without rainfall
|
|
Iran is facing its worst drought in decades, raising fears of evacuations in Tehran while threatening the regime’s stability and nuclear ambitions, according to a leading environmental expert.
Kaveh Madani, Director of the United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment and Health, said Iran’s worsening "water bankruptcy" would impact the country’s ability to function and weaken its position on the global stage.
"This water bankruptcy weakens Iran on the world stage," Madani told Fox News Digital.
"If they want to stick to their ideology and fight with the West, they must use their natural resources and burn them, so if there is no water, there is less resilience and less capacity to resist."
Madani, who has long warned of environmental mismanagement in Iran, said the current water crisis across the nation was predictable.
"The water bankruptcy situation was not created overnight," he said. "The house was already on fire, and people like myself had warned the government for years that this situation would emerge."
President Masoud Pezeshkian warned that without rainfall before winter, Tehran could face partial evacuation, according to The Associated Press. (Fox News) Read more here.

Netanyahu sends message to people of Iran as country faces water crisis
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a message to the people of Iran just days after Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned against excessive water usage, saying the country is on the brink of severe shortages.
"The thirst for water in Iran is only matched by the thirst for freedom," Netanyahu said in a video addressing the people of Iran.
Netanyahu compared the regime’s treatment of its citizens to Israel’s struggle against it, saying, "Your dictators impose tyranny and poverty upon you – just as they impose war on us."
"So here is the great news: The moment your country is free, Israel's top water experts will flood into every Iranian city bringing cutting-edge technology and know-how. We will help Iran recycle water; we'll help Iran desalinate water." (Fox News) Read more here.

|
Lord, we pray over all Iranian citizens that they would come to know you and that you would help them during this situation. We pray for all persecuted Christians in this area, Lord, that you will send them supernatural strength and supernatural help in Jesus' name. We are blessed to see the statement by Israeli P.M. Benjamin Netanyahu, promising to help the citizens of Iran recover from this disaster, as soon as they withdraw their support from this Iranian regime. And finally, we speak life over the Middle East, this region, and we break all evil trying to cause destruction to these nations, in Jesus' name.
"I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." (Psalm 121:1-2)

Trump to host Syrian president in historic White House meeting amid push for regional peace

|
In letter, faith leaders press Trump to raise persecution of Christians and other minorities with al-Sharaa
|
|
|
President Donald Trump is preparing to welcome Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa on Monday in what officials describe as a historic step toward testing whether Damascus can be drawn back into diplomacy after years of war and isolation.
The high-profile meeting underscores a new chapter in U.S.–Syria relations after more than a decade of hostility. A senior administration official told Fox News Digital the visit will focus on counterterrorism cooperation, economic development and advancing regional peace and security.
During the visit, the official said, "Syria will announce that it is joining the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS. Syria will thus become the 90th member of the D-ISIS Coalition, partnering with the United States to eliminate ISIS remnants and halt foreign fighter flows."
The visit follows a week of major policy shifts. On Thursday, the U.N. Security Council voted 14-0, with China abstaining, to remove sanctions on al-Sharaa and Syria’s interior minister. Additionally, Reuters reported that al-Sharaa and his interior minister, Anas Khattab, had formerly been subject to financial sanctions targeted at al Qaeda and ISIS, with the United States designating them Specially Designated Global Terrorists. 1. IDF strikes Hezbollah targets across Lebanon, says 3 operatives killed in past 24 hours - Times of Israel
The Israel Defense Forces carried out a wave of airstrikes in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley area on Monday, targeting what it said were sites used by Hezbollah for rocket launches and the production and storage of strategic weapons, bringing the number of Hezbollah operatives killed in the past 24 hours up to three.
The military confirmed that it had carried out the strikes following reports in Lebanese media of a wave of Israeli air attacks across southern Lebanon.
It was the latest round of Israeli attacks against Hezbollah targets in recent days, after the IDF warned last week that it would step up the scale of its operations if the Iran-backed terror group is not fully disarmed by the Lebanese military. (Read more)

1. Trump-Orbán: Russian oil imports and war in Ukraine on the table in 'high-stakes' Washington visit - Euronews.com
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is leading a 180-strong delegation to visit President Donald Trump in Washington in a meeting that will put the spotlight on their friendship, but also bring ongoing tensions between the two to the forefront.
Orbán arrived in Washington on Thursday on a leased aircraft from Hungary's low-cost carrier Wizz Air as he heralded a special bond between the two countries in a "gilded age" for their bilateral relation.
Before the trip, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said the US and Hungary worked hard in the last weeks preparing "a large economic and energy cooperation package that would greatly contribute to guaranteeing Hungary's long-term energy security."
One of the main topics during the visit will be Russia's ongoing war in Ukraine. Orbán was due to host a summit in Budapest between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, before Washington ultimately called it off on the assumption Moscow was not ready for serious peace talks. Instead, the US issued the most severe energy sanctions against Russian energy companies since Moscow's all-out war against Ukraine started in early 2022.
US officials have also been calling on Hungary to cut Russian oil imports, but Budapest has consistently refused, citing national security concerns. Orbán suggested after the sanctions on Lukoil and Rosneft were imposed last month that he would ask the US President for an opt-out. Trump has not indicated he is prepared to give him one. "He has asked for an exemption, but we haven't granted one. He is a friend of mine," Trump told reporters over the weekend on Air Force One. (Read more)

3. China seeks to project power far beyond its coast with the new Fujian aircraft carrier - AP News
BANGKOK (AP) — China has commissioned its latest aircraft carrier after extensive sea trials, state media reported Friday, adding a ship that experts say will help what is already the world’s largest navy expand its power farther beyond its own waters.
The official Xinhua news agency said the Fujian had been commissioned Wednesday at a naval base on southern China’s Hainan island in a ceremony attended by top leader Xi Jinping.
The Fujian is China’s third carrier and the first that it both designed and built itself. It is perhaps the most visible example so far of Xi’s massive military overhaul and expansion that aims to have a modernized force by 2035 and one that is “world class” by mid century — which most take to mean capable of going toe-to-toe with the United States.
With it, Beijing takes another step toward closing the gap with the U.S. Navy and its carrier fleet and network of bases that allow it to maintain a presence around the world. (Read more)

4. Cutting America’s flights will have huge ramifications for ticket prices and passengers - CNN
Airline passengers were already looking at higher fares and packed planes this holiday season. But the holiday headaches might get much worse as the government shutdown causes flight reductions at major airports.
The Trump administration is reducing traffic at 40 airports across the United States starting Friday as long as the shutdown continues. Airlines have already canceled upcoming flights, though it’s hard to say how long those cutbacks will last.
“They’re doing that because we don’t know how long this is going to last and they’re not going to go and take out flights automatically that they don’t necessarily need to,” travel industry expert Zach Griff said. “That’s going to cause a lot more stress for travelers, but there really isn’t a better way to do it. Still, it is not going to be a pleasant experience until this is finished.” (Read more)

5. Trump: US to boycott G20 in South Africa over white farmer 'abuses' - BBC
Donald Trump has said the US will not attend the G20 summit in South Africa over widely discredited claims that white people are being persecuted in the country. The US president said it was a "total disgrace" that South Africa is hosting the meeting, where leaders from the world's largest economies will gather in Johannesburg later this month.
Trump posted on his social media platform Truth Social: "It is a total disgrace that the G20 will be held in South Africa.
"Afrikaners (people who are descended from Dutch settlers, and also French and German immigrants) are being killed and slaughtered, and their land and farms are being illegally confiscated," he wrote. "No US government official will attend as long as these human rights abuses continue." (Read more)

6. Typhoon Fung-wong bears down on the Philippines after deadly Kalmaegi - BBC
The Philippines is bracing for the arrival of another potentially devastating typhoon, less than a week after a different storm killed at least 200 people and left a trail of destruction. Fung-wong, known locally as Uwan, is forecast to intensify to a super typhoon - with sustained winds of at least 185km/h (115mph) - before making landfall on the island of Luzon on Sunday evening local time at the earliest.
Officials say Typhoon Fung-wong could be even stronger than its predecessor, Kalmaegi, which hit the country on Tuesday.
The storm will also bring heavy rain and the risk of life-threatening storm surges, according to the Philippine meteorological service (Pagasa).
At least 204 people are now known to have died in the Philippines as a result of the earlier storm, while more than 100 are still missing. (Read more)

Prayers of Faith Echo Through Eternity
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, November 10, 2025
This week’s reading in Genesis 18:1-22:24, Vayera (“And He Appeared”), overflows with revelation and testing. The Lord appears to Abraham at the Oaks of Mamre, where three visitors announce that Sarah will bear a son. Soon after, Abraham learns that Sodom and Gomorrah will face judgment, prompting his bold intercession. Lot and his family barely escape, though Lot’s wife tragically looks back and turns to salt. Abraham and Sarah journey to the Negev, where Abimelech takes Sarah, but God intervenes with a plague and restores her. Isaac is born, Hagar and Ishmael are sent away, and finally, Abraham faces the ultimate test—the binding of Isaac—proving his steadfast trust in God’s character and promises.
When God reveals His plan to destroy Sodom, Abraham dares to reason with Heaven itself: “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked?” (Genesis 18:23). He bargains with God—fifty righteous, forty-five, thirty, twenty, ten—pressing the question of divine justice. Rabbi Jonathan Sacks calls this “the argument with Heaven, for the sake of Heaven.” Though Sodom and Gomorrah fall, the Bible records that God “remembered Abraham” and spared Lot. From that act came Moab and Ammon, born of Lot’s daughters. They would one day become enemies of Israel, but even from this fractured story, God’s redemptive thread continues, reaching farther than Abraham could imagine. Read More

Trump Outlines His Plan to Replace 'Obamacare Scam': 'The Money Should Go Directly to the People'
|
|
|
|
President Donald Trump has called for Obamacare subsidies to be paid out directly to the American people instead of paid to insurance companies.
In a plan laid out on Truth Social over the weekend, the president specifically pleaded with Senate Republicans to get the ball rolling.
“I am recommending to Senate Republicans that the Hundreds of Billions of Dollars currently being sent to money sucking Insurance Companies in order to save the bad Healthcare provided by ObamaCare, BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE PEOPLE SO THAT THEY CAN PURCHASE THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER, HEALTHCARE, and have money left over,” the president wrote on Saturday.
“In other words, take from the BIG, BAD Insurance Companies, give it to the people, and terminate, per Dollar spent, the worst Healthcare anywhere in the World, ObamaCare,” he added.
To be clear, the president’s proposal involves amending federal appropriations for premium tax credits and cost-sharing reductions — something that would require both the House and Senate to act.
On Sunday, the president doubled down in a new post, except this time he directed his ire at Democrats. He blamed them for the recent, now-over government shutdown, which was spurred by them demanding Republicans extend COVID-era Obamacare subsidies.
“I am sorry that the American People are being terrorized by Democrats who have decided to shut the Government down to make me and other Republicans continue ObamaCare subsidies, which have been a windfall for Health Insurance Companies, and a DISASTER for the American People,” he wrote. (The Western Journal) Read more here.

Father God,
We rejoice over this decision by President Trump to give the Obamacare subsidies directly to the people instead of being paid to insurance companies.
As the president's plan involves amending federal appropriations for the premium tax credits and cost sharing reductions, we know that it has to require both the House and the Senate to act. God, we ask You to cut through all the negative remarks and divisive tactics of the Democratic party in trying to stop this from happening so that the American people will have control over their insurance plans. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Breaking: Trump Issues Official Pardon to Giuliani, 'All United States Citizens' Involved in 2020 Elector Activities That Biden, Dems Condemned as Illegal
|
|
|
|
President Donald Trump on Sunday issued a pardon to longtime ally Rudy Giuliani as well as 76 other people who worked on his behalf during his fight following the 2020 presidential election.
Attorneys Sidney Powell, Kenneth Chesebro, and former chief of staff Mark Meadows were among those pardoned, according to a list posted on X on Sunday by the administration’s clemency czar, attorney Ed Martin.
Most of those pardoned were part of the selection of alternate electors in states that former President Joe Biden won, including Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, and Michigan, according to the New York Post.
“This proclamation ends a grave national injustice perpetrated upon the American people following the 2020 Presidential Election and continues the process of national reconciliation,” Trump wrote in pardons.
He further called for action against those people who had been targeted by the Biden administration.
“The targeted is a huge group of Americans. We’ve been working hard to find them and one group that jumped up right away is the 2030 alternate electors and their affiliates who were targeted by Jack Smith and others,” he wrote.
He added, “Gen. Bondi and DAG Blanche pushed us to do it right and fast. There are many more Americans who Biden targeted. And we’re working to help them. God bless us all.”

Father, we rejoice in seeing the wonderful pardon of all the people who have suffered such grave injustice by governmental agencies. We pray for them to move forward and see full justice and recompense given each one of them and their families, in Jesus's name. We ask Father that You would wipe their records clean in the natural just as You do in the spiritual, so that no one would carry the stain of convicted criminal, but rather a banner of victorious warrior for righteousness for this nation. Bless Ed Martin and the team and let Your name be high and lifted up over the U.S.A.
"Thus says the Lord: 'Keep justice, and do righteousness, For My salvation is about to come, And My righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, And the son of man who lays hold on it; . . . '" (Isaiah 56:1-2a)

Trump Says 'At Least $2,000' in Tariff Dividends 'Will Be Paid to Everyone'
|
|
|
|
If the courts let him, President Donald Trump wants to share the fruits of his tariff victories with the American people.
“People that are against Tariffs are FOOLS!” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.
“We are now the Richest, Most Respected Country In the World, With Almost No Inflation, and A Record Stock Market Price. 401k’s are Highest EVER. We are taking in Trillions of Dollars and will soon begin paying down our ENORMOUS DEBT, $37 Trillion. Record Investment in the USA, plants and factories going up all over the place,” Trump wrote.
Trump then noted how individual Americans will share in the income from tariffs.
“A dividend of at least $2000 a person (not including high income people!) will be paid to everyone,” Trump wrote.
As noted by The Wall Street Journal, during the high tide of the Department of Government Efficiency’s groundbreaking work to reduce federal waste, Trump floated the concept of giving out payments from what DOGE had saved.
During Trump’s first term, he approved stimulus checks to offset the impact of COVID on the economy.
The White House said Sunday that the tariffs were important to the country. “The Administration is committed to putting this money to good use for the American people,” a White House official told The Wall Street Journal.
However, Trump is currently facing a case before the Supreme Court in which his authority to set tariffs without going through Congress is being questioned.
Tariff revenues totaled $23.9 billion in May, $28 billion in June, and $29 billion in July. During fiscal 2025, which ended Sept. 30, the federal government took in $215.2 billion from tariffs, according to Fox Business.
Since fiscal year 2026 began Oct. 1, $35.9 billion in tariffs has been collected.
As noted by The New York Times, raising revenue is within the purview of Congress.
Solicitor General D. John Sauer said the tariffs are in fact raising revenue but are a weapon in Trump’s waging of foreign affairs, which is the executive branch’s turf.
“These are regulatory tariffs,” Sauer said. “They are not revenue-raising tariffs. The fact that they raise revenue is only incidental. The tariffs would be most effective, so to speak, if no person ever paid them.”
Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh indicated that he appeared to get the point, noting how Trump was wielding tariffs “to help settle the Russian-Ukraine war.” (The Western
Journal) Read more here.

|
We pray that, when taken into consideration, the positive effects of tariffs, along with our historical use of them, will overcome all negatives and lead to a SCOTUS ruling for the President! We pray, too, that the Lord would convict each of the Supreme Court Justices to tear down any wall of skepticism, so that they will NOT consider reversing President Trump's current tariff policy.
And finally, we pray that, at the minimum, there will be a 5-4 ruling in President Trump’s favor...and in particular, Justices Gorsuch, Roberts, and Barrett will cite historical legal and constitutional grounds to rule FOR the President, thus preventing trade wars and enabling US agriculture and manufacturing to thrive.
We do ask You, Lord, to forgive any Supreme Court Justices who may not rule in favor of our nation. Amen.
“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses." (Mark 11:25)

Mysterious ravaged city ruins linked to the Bible's Sodom and Gomorrah discovered

Archaeologists excavating near Jordan's southeastern Dead Sea have uncovered evidence that may link the biblical 'sin cities' to real historical sites.
The discoveries include Sodom at Bab edh-Dhra and Gomorrah at Numera, both showing Early Bronze Age occupation, fire-ravaged ruins and permanent abandonment.
Admah and Zeboim, associated with Fifa and Khanazir, also had signs of occupation and destruction, though further excavation is needed to confirm their identities.
Zoar, near modern Safi, stood out for its continuous habitation from the Bronze Age through the Byzantine period, with excavations uncovering churches, tombstones, Nabataean remains and a cave tied to an ancient prophet said to have pleaded for God to spare the city for his refuge.
Dr Titus Kennedy, a field archaeologist, shared on the Digging for Truth podcast that the findings at Zoar help anchor the biblical narrative and contextualize the destruction of the other cities.
All five sites follow a north-south alignment along hilltops near ancient streams, reinforcing the biblical account.
'You've got five cities that potentially all look the same and the same types of things happened there in the right geographical area,' Kennedy emphasized.
'And I think that is very compelling for identifying this with the five cities of the plain.'
According to the Old Testament, these cities were destroyed by fire and brimstone as divine punishment for extreme wickedness, including cruelty, corruption and moral decay.
Genesis describes Sodom and Gomorrah as places where 'the outcry against them was so great and their sin so grievous' that God decided to obliterate them. (Daily Mail)

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
