Kennedy Center to host Christmas concert
featuring live Nativity scene, Bible readings
|

The Kennedy Center is hosting a Christmas concert featuring performances by prominent Christian musicians along with readings from the Bible and a live Nativity scene. “Noel: Jesus is Born!” will be held at the Kennedy Center Opera House at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 17 in Washington, D.C., with musical performances by Charles Billingsley and his Yuletide Orchestra as well as Matthew West.
“We are proud to present a meaningful, faith-filled experience for families to immerse themselves in the Christmas story at America’s cultural center,” Kennedy Center Vice President of Public Relations Roma Daravi told The Christian Post. “Tis the season to create cherished memories and celebrate the sacred alongside the festive.”
The concert, which will take place in the Kennedy Center’s second-largest venue, comes after Kennedy Center Director Richard Grenell announced at the Conservative Political Action Conference earlier this year that “we are doing a big, huge celebration of the birth of Christ at Christmas.” Grenell, appointed to his post by President Donald Trump, shared his vision for a “big traditional production to celebrate what we are all celebrating in the world during Christmas time, which is the birth of Christ.” (Christian Post) Read More Here

BREAKING: Putin Says Trump's Thanksgiving Day Peace Proposal Could Finally End War in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Friday that the Trump administration’s peace plan could “lay the foundation” for ending the war in Ukraine.Putin spoke to Russian media and confirmed that Moscow has received the draft proposal from Washington to agree to an end to hostilities by next Thursday. He also said the plan could serve as the basis for a “final peace settlement.”
“We have this draft; we received it through existing channels of communication with the U.S. administration,” Putin said. He added, “I believe it can also serve as a basis for a final peace settlement.”
Barron’s confirmed Putin’s response to the proposal.
The plan is the same 28-point document that was announced Friday. The Trump administration is urging Ukraine to sign the deal by Thanksgiving, according to Friday reports from The Washington Post and Axios.
Officials warned that U.S. support could be scaled back if Kyiv refuses.
U.S. Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll delivered the message to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday. Officials told The Post that the proposal demands major concessions from Ukraine. Those include a reduction of its armed forces and giving up some territory that Russia has not taken by force, but has argued a claim to.
Zelensky asked for changes to the draft on Thursday, but it is unclear which parts could be updated. Under the plan, Zelensky and Trump would sign first, with Russia signing later.
Ukraine would be barred from hosting NATO troops and would need to reduce its military to no more than 600,000 troops. (The Western Journal) Read more here.

Marjorie Taylor Greene announces resignation from Congress after President Trump withdraws endorsement

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., announced late Friday she will resign her seat in Congress, one week after President Donald Trump publicly pulled his endorsement of the outspoken Georgia lawmaker.
In a lengthy statement posted to X, Greene cited her growing disillusionment with Washington politics, blasting what she called a corrupt "Political Industrial Complex" that she said uses Americans as "pawns in an endless game of division."
"Americans are used by the Political Industrial Complex of both political parties, election cycle after election cycle, in order to elect whichever side can convince Americans to hate the other side more," Greene wrote. "And the results are always the same — nothing ever gets better for the common American man or woman."
Greene said she had "never fit in" in Washington and was leaving Congress to "fight for the people of this country in a different way."
Her announcement comes amid political fallout following Trump’s decision last week to withdraw his endorsement, calling Greene "Wacky" and "a ranting lunatic." (Fox News) Read more here.

House Passes Resolution Denouncing
‘Horrors of Socialism’

The U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution on Nov. 21 denouncing the “horrors of socialism.”
The tally was 285–98 with two voting “present.” There were 86 Democrats who joined all Republicans to vote in favor of the resolution, which was introduced by Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-Fla.), a daughter of Cuban immigrants who fled the communist regime of Fidel Castro. There were 63 cosponsors.
The resolution states that “socialist ideology necessitates a concentration of power that has, time and time again, collapsed into communist regimes, totalitarian rule, and brutal dictatorships” and “has repeatedly led to famine and mass murders, and the killing of over 100,000,000 people worldwide.”
The measure calls out Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, Fidel Castro, Pol Pot, Kim Jong Il, Kim Jong Un, Daniel Ortega, Hugo Chavez, and Nicolás Maduro as men who committed the greatest crimes in history as part of their socialist ideology.
Additionally, it notes that “tens of millions died in the Bolshevik Revolution, at least 10,000,000 people were sent to the gulags in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and millions more starved in the Terror-Famine” in Ukraine.
The resolution states that the Great Leap Forward in China under Mao Zedong killed between 15 million and 55 million people due to starvation caused by famine and devastation. (The Epoch Times) Read more here. |

Minnesota taxpayer dollars funneled to
Al-Shabaab terror group, report alleges
|
|
A new investigation found that Minnesota taxpayer dollars were going far beyond the North Star State's borders and ending up in the hands of Al-Shabaab, an al Qaeda-linked terror group.
Ryan Thorpe and Christopher F. Rufo of the Manhattan Institute uncovered a web of fraud involving Minnesota’s Medicaid Housing Stabilization Services program, Feeding Our Future and other organizations in a bombshell report. Thorpe and Rufo noted that, in many cases, members of Minnesota's Somali community were perpetrators of fraud. They added that federal counterterrorism sources confirmed that millions of dollars in stolen funds were sent back to Somalia, which is how Al-Shabaab got the cash.
Thorpe and Rufo sought to answer a bigger question when looking into the schemes: "Where did the money go?"
As it turned out, the Somali fraud rings sent money transfers from Minnesota to Somalia and, according to reports, approximately 40% of households in Somalia get remittances from abroad. Thorpe and Rufo state that in 2023, the Somali diaspora sent $1.7 billion to the country, which was higher than the Somali government's budget that same year.

Lord, now that this crime has been revealed, we thank You for this swift resolution, bringsing full accountability to those who have perpetrated it. You have an answer to the crimes committed by the Somali immigrants in Minnesota, so we pray for the repentance and heart changes needed. As the Federal government terminates deportation protections for these Somalis, we ask that any groups working to defraud US taxpayers will be revealed and stopped.

1. Israel kills Hezbollah ‘chief of staff’ in Beirut - JNS
The IDF said Sunday it killed the Hezbollah terrorist group’s “chief of staff” in Beirut in a targeted airstrike, pledging to continue to act against its efforts to rebuild and rearm.
The military operation against the No. 2 leader in the terrorist organization—which was dubbed “Black Friday”—was the first Israeli strike on Beirut since July and came nearly a year to the day since a ceasefire entered into force.
“A short while ago, the IDF struck in the heart of Beirut the Hezbollah chief of staff, who led the terrorist organization’s military buildup and armament,” the Prime Minister’s Office said in the afternoon.
The target was identified as Haytham Ali Tabatabai, Hezbollah’s No. 2 after Secretary-General Naim Qassem. (Read more)

Just hours after the killing of Ali Tabatabai, Hezbollah’s number two and a key commander of the Radwan Force, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the nation Sunday evening in a firm, resolute statement.
Netanyahu described Tabatabai as “one of the most dangerous strategists” within the Lebanese Shiite terrorist group, alleging that he had intended to “invade Galilee and massacre Israeli citizens.”
The Prime Minister also noted that the senior official had been actively working to “rebuild and rearm” Hezbollah following strikes that destroyed much of its missile arsenal and after the elimination of Hassan Nasrallah. (Read more)

A timeline presented to the Turgeman Committee and published by Channel 12 on Sunday, paints a picture of the dramatic hours that preceded the October 7th Massacre, and places the conduct of ex-Intelligence Directorate Chief Maj. Gen. Aharon Haliva, in the epicenter.
According to the documents, a series of alerts, updates, and missed opportunities accumulated throughout the night, while Haliva was not available by phone and was only receiving messages.
According to the report, at 12:50 a.m., the Intelligence Chief's office received its first update. The Southern Command's intelligence officer relayed unusual indications from the Gaza Strip to the directorate chief's assistant. The assistant sufficed in sending a text message to Haliva, who did not wake up, and did not attempt to call him. Throughout the night, additional alerts accumulated, but it was not until around three in the morning that the assistant woke Haliva and updated him with all the information. Haliva ordered that they only continue monitoring the situation. (Read more)

Israel took a new step last week toward sovereignty over a key Jewish holy site in Hebron, MK Zvi Sukkot announced Saturday night.
“History has been made in the Cave of the Patriarchs: Technical control has returned to the hands of the nation of Israel,” the chairman of the Subcommittee on Judea and Samaria wrote on Facebook.
The neighboring Kiryat Arba municipal council now oversees the electricity, water and safety systems of Judaism’s second-most holy site instead of the Muslim Waqf, he said.
Sukkot called the move “a sovereign step of the highest order,” saying that for decades, “a body that is not the State of Israel held the ability to paralyze the site sacred to Jews.” (Read more)

5. Israel and Azerbaijan discuss expanding economic ties - JNS
An Azerbaijani delegation led by Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov took part in a joint government meeting in Jerusalem on Thursday, further strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The high-level visit, which follows the ceasefire in Gaza last month and the subsequent expansion of the 2020 Abraham Accords to the Central Asian country of Kazakhstan, comes amid burgeoning ties between the Jewish state and the predominantly Shi’ite Muslim Azerbaijan.
Jabbarov co-chaired the fourth meeting of the Azerbaijan–Israel Joint Commission with Ze’ev Elkin, a minister in the Israeli Ministry of Finance. More than 70 officials from 15 ministries and government agencies attended the meeting.

1: Trump lands another legal victory as lawsuit against Iowa pollster, Des Moines Register remains in state court - Fox News
President Donald Trump scored yet another legal victory Friday when the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit shut down Iowa pollster J. Ann Selzer’s appeal, reinforcing that the president’s "election interference" lawsuit will now land in Iowa State Court.
Trump’s legal team has accused Selzer and The Des Moines Register of "brazen election interference" with their final 2024 Iowa presidential poll that showed him trailing Democrat Kamala Harris.
Trump originally requested the case be moved to Iowa State Court in May after the defendants "removed" the case to federal court. A federal judge denied the request at the time, but the Obama-appointed judge was overruled by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.
Trump last month notched a key victory when the 8th Circuit granted Trump’s petition for a writ of mandamus — a rare judicial order used to correct clear legal errors — and directed a district judge to treat the case as dismissed "without prejudice," allowing Trump to refile the case. As a result, the case would be litigated in Iowa State Court.
The defendants petitioned the 8th Circuit for relief but were shut down.
"The petition for rehearing en banc is denied. The petition for rehearing by the panel is denied," Clerk of Court Susan Bindler ruled. (Read more)

2: Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, Misidentified by Rep. Jasmine Crockett as the Notorious Sex Offender, Floats Clever Revenge- Breitbart
Dr. Jeffrey Epstein — the New York neurosurgeon Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) misidentified as the notorious alleged sex trafficker in an attempt to smear EPA head Lee Zeldin — has come up with a clever way to give the loose-lipped congresswoman some of her own medicine.
“I think that I should contribute money to Jasmine Crockett and then let everybody know that she also took money from Jeffrey Epstein,” the Long Island physician told the New York Post on Thursday.
Crockett had claimed earlier this week on the House floor that she was “gonna expose it all,” saying she had discovered “somebody named Jeffrey Epstein” donated to Zeldin when he was a Republican congressman from New York.
This implied that those campaign contributions to Zeldin in 2020 were from the convicted sex offender and alleged sex trafficker and pedophile, despite the fact the $1,000 in 2020 donations were made well after the financier died in a Manhattan jail cell the previous year.
In fact, the donations were from the surgeon. (Read more)

Holy Lord, this woman jumped to a wrong conclusion that could easily have smeared an innocent neurosurgeon. Jumping to conclusions is something she has done before. We ask that You stem the constant nasty verbiage she uses and pray for a move of repentance in her life.

3: FBI restricted agents from working with CAIR years before Texas branded the group a terrorist organization - Fox News
The FBI has spent more than a decade limiting official contact with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) over concerns about the group’s ties to Hamas, according to a Justice Department report reviewed by Fox News Digital.
The 2013 Office of Inspector General (OIG) report shows the FBI put a nationwide restriction in place in 2008 and repeatedly reminded field offices to follow it after evidence in a major terrorism-financing case linked CAIR leaders to Hamas, a U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organization.
Those findings resurfaced after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott designated CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organizations last week and as lawmakers renew calls for federal action against Islamist networks operating throughout America.
According to the OIG, FBI headquarters issued a series of internal memoranda between August and December 2008 ordering all field offices to end non-investigative engagement with CAIR unless cleared through Washington.
The directive, the report notes, stemmed in part from evidence introduced during the Holy Land Foundation trial connecting CAIR leadership to the Hamas support network. (Read more)

4: House Oversight Committee Says Bill and Hillary Clinton Must Appear in Person for Depositions on Epstein- Breitbart
Former President Bill Clinton and his wife, twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, must appear in person for their depositions relating to the federal investigation of convicted billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his former assistant Ghislaine Maxwell, House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said in a November 21 letter to the Clintons’ attorney.
Comer sent a letter to Clinton attorney David Kendall, making it clear that both of the Clintons are expected to comply with “lawful subpoenas and appear for scheduled in-person depositions.”
Comer addressed the arguments Kendall made against his clients appearing for a “live testimony” before the committee, as Kendall instead suggested offering a “written proffer of what little information [the Clintons] may have,” citing the need for efficiency. However, the chairman made it clear that the committee fundamentally disagrees with this argument, pointing to the fact that Kendall himself admitted that both Bill and Hillary Clinton have information relevant to the committee’s investigation. 5: Jihadists Abduct Pupils from Nigeria Catholic School in Yet Another anti-Christian Attack – Breitbart
Another day, another anti-Christian attack by jihadists in strife-torn Nigeria. Multiple news agencies reported Friday dozens of pupils have been abducted by armed men from a Catholic school in the center of the country.
The BBC reports the latest attack targeted St Mary’s School in Papiri, Niger state, where authorities had already ordered the temporary closure of all boarding schools due to rising security threats by attackers.
Local media broadcaster Arise TV said 52 schoolchildren were abducted.
AP reports the Niger State Police Command said the abductions took place in the early hours of Friday and that military and security forces have since been deployed to the community. It described St. Mary’s is a secondary school, which serves children between the ages of in 12 and 17.
Nigeria has faced a renewed wave of attacks by armed gangs in recent days, including the kidnapping on Monday of 25 schoolgirls from a boarding school in nearby Kebbi state.
The school kidnappings and an attack on a church earlier this week come weeks after U.S, President Donald Trump threatened military action over the targeted killings of Nigeria’s Christians. (Read more)

6: Dem House hopeful exposed as far-left activist pushing to abolish police weeks before special election - Fox News
The Democratic Party's candidate seeking to win a House seat in Tennessee's upcoming special election has a lengthy record of anti-police rhetoric, which she espoused repeatedly on a now-deleted social media account and in interviews prior to becoming a state legislator in 2023.
Aftyn Behn, who is running against Republican Matt Van Epps in Tennessee's 7th Congressional District special election, also worked as a regional organizing director for the nonprofit activist group Indivisible prior to becoming a state legislator. The radical left-wing entity was also a frequent advocate for stripping funding from police departments, calling it "critical" at the height of the defund movement.
"Where's the proposal that dissolves @MNPDNashville?" Behn asked on an old social media account, which has since been deleted, in response to a separate social media post from a Nashville City Council member indicating local officials had submitted a "substitute budget proposal" aiming to strip Nashville police of $2.6 million in funding.
"If it's been difficult for all of you to imagine a world without police … we can do it and there is a world," Behn subsequently said during an interview with a local Nashville advocacy group. (Fox News) Read more here.

As more and more candidates with far-left ideology emerge, we ask on our knees for Your Power to save our nation from such people. We ask for repentance from the sin in our nation and plead for mercy.

Fire erupts in US Capitol trolley system, at least 2 people receive medical attention
|

At least two people are receiving medical treatment after a fire was reported Thursday afternoon in the trolley system connecting the Rayburn House and U.S. Capitol buildings.
The D.C. Fire and EMS Department confirmed crews responded to a small electrical fire atop the underground trolley, which was later extinguished.
At least two patients are being medically evaluated, according to D.C. Fire.
None of the passengers on the trolley were injured, officials said.
It is unclear who was in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
Fire personnel are assessing smoke conditions, as of 5:10 p.m. local time. The Metropolitan Police Department said Independence Avenue is closed in both directions between Washington Avenue, SW and Second Street, SE. "Use alternate routes to avoid this area," police wrote in a social media post. The cause of the fire has not yet been released.
The U.S. Capitol subway system is used to move lawmakers, aides and high-profile guests safely between government buildings. Its three lines are operated and maintained by the Architect of the Capitol (AOC). (MSN.com) Read more here.

Father God, for those of us who spent many years riding this trolley from the Rayburn Building to the Capitol (or vice versa), this story has touched our hearts. We praise God that only two people were injured on Thursday night, and that their injuries were not serious.
We pray that the cause of this fire will be revealed. We apply the Blood of Jesus and the Word of God to everything that happens or will happen in our nation’s Capitol.

New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani accused Israel of committing genocide and the United States government of funding it during a White House press conference with US President Donald Trump on Friday.
In response to one reporter who inquired about Mamdani’s view on US involvement in the Israel-Hamas War, the incoming mayor stated that he has “spoken about the Israeli government committing genocide and our government funding it,” continuing that he shared his concerns with Trump during their meeting.
Trump did not respond to the question nor deny the genocide accusation.
Mamdani told reporters that New Yorkers are “tired of seeing tax dollars fund wars,” and that the US needs to “follow through on the international human rights,” claiming that they are “still being violated, and something needs to be done, no matter where we’re speaking of.”
The incoming mayor, however, praised Trump for his peacemaking efforts in the Middle East, stating that he “appreciates all efforts towards peace.” Trump stated that both he and Mamdani shared an interest in pursuing peace efforts.
A democratic socialist and little-known state lawmaker who won New York's mayoral race earlier this month, Mamdani requested the sit-down with Trump to discuss cost-of-living issues and public safety.
"We have one thing in common: we want this city of ours that we love to do very well," Trump said after inviting journalists into the Oval Office following a private meeting. "I want to congratulate the mayor; he really ran an incredible race against some very tough people, very smart people."
"It was a productive meeting focused on a place of shared admiration and love, which is New York City, and the need to deliver affordability to New Yorkers," Mamdani said.

WASHINGTON — US President Donald Trump hosted a delegation at the White House on Thursday of nearly all the hostages freed through as part of the Gaza ceasefire deal he brokered last month.
“You’re not a hostage anymore… today you’re heroes,” Trump told the former hostages and their families in a brief portion of his prepared remarks that were filmed and released by the White House.
The Israeli delegation was made up of 26 former hostages, including 17 of the 20 living captives who were released in the deal that took force in October.
Among those 17 was Matan Angrest, who Trump singled out for praise.
“Because of his service in the IDF, Matan was subjected to severe beatings, even at times losing consciousness. Alone and under special guard, he went through hell,” Trump said in another short video posted by the Hostages Families Forum.
“Matan never broke, and today he’s a living testimony to the toughness, heart, and faith of the Jewish people. I’m telling you, you’re a great inspiration to everybody,” Trump added.
Addressing all of the hostages, Trump said, “It’s an honor to get to know all of you. I know some of you already. I know some of the previous hostages that we got out very well. We love you all, and our country loves you all… you’re amazing people.” (Times of Israel)

Government releases newly declassified
Amelia Earhart disappearance records
from National Archives

National Archives documents include Navy search reports and final radio communications from 1937
Newly unsealed government records related to famed American aviator Amelia Earhart have been made public.
The U.S. National Archives released 4,624 pages related to the disappearance of Earhart on the Electra on Friday.
A variety of documents detail Earhart’s last known communications, maps, tables and logs.
Her last communication was documented on July 2, 1937, the day of her disappearance over the Pacific. It reads, "We are on the line 157 337 wl rept msg we wl rept..."
Among the documents released is the U.S. Navy report of the search for Amelia Earhart from 1937.'
The report began immediately after Earhart’s last transmission; it spanned 16 days, until July 18, 1937.
Earhart’s last confirmed radio transmission was reaffirmed in the report at 1912 GMT near 157° east longitude, 337° south latitude.
Four distinct areas were noted as potential landing sites.
The report details the search by USS Colorado and USS Lexington that covered nearly 250,000 square miles of the Pacific. PBY-1 seaplanes, meanwhile, searched a 25,000-square-mile region of the ocean daily. (Fox News) Read More
