FBI Thwarts Potential Halloween Weekend 'Terrorist Attack’
|
|
The FBI has “thwarted a potential terrorist attack,” according to the agency’s director. “This morning the FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested multiple subjects in Michigan who were allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend,” FBI Director Kash Patel wrote on X Friday morning.
Patel thanked the “men and women of FBI and law enforcement everywhere standing guard 24/7 and crushing our mission to defend the homeland.” Patel indicated more information about the thwarted attack would be made public soon. “Protecting the Homeland is our top priority. We will not rest,” Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino wrote on X immediately following Patel’s statement. Following Patel and Bongino’s post on social media, Fox News reports that the plot had ties to ISIS. (Daily Signal) Read More Here

Father, we give You all PRAISE in answered prayer for protection over our nation! Thank You for exposing the plot meant for harm and for bringing a potential violent attack to a sudden halt. Bless FBI Director, Kash Patel and law enforcement agents as they diligently defend Americans and continue to expose plots of the enemy intended to harm citizens. May all things hidden continue to be exposed, and evil plans thwarted across America, for quick justice to be rendered! We pray this by the powerful blood of the Lamb, Amen and Amen.

Two judges rule Trump admin must keep SNAP benefits in place as shutdown drags on
|
|
A federal judge on Friday ordered the Trump administration to continue to fund Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) during the ongoing government shutdown, delivering near-term relief to roughly 42 million Americans who received the aid just hours before the funding was slated to dry up.
The emergency order from U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani said the Trump administration must resume SNAP benefits, which were slated to expire Nov. 1, ruling that plaintiffs who filed the lawsuit are likely to succeed on their claims that the suspension of the benefits is unlawful. She ordered the government to provide the court no later than Monday, Nov. 3, with additional details on how it plans to keep the program funded, and whether the appropriated benefits must be distributed in full or in part.
Moments later, a separate federal judge in Rhode Island ordered the Trump administration to continue paying for food stamps during the shutdown.
U.S. District Judge John McConnell said the administration must tap its emergency funds to pay for the SNAP benefits "as soon as possible" next month. He issued the emergency order from the bench Friday during an emergency court hearing in Providence.

Lord, these judges are responding to the emotion rather than the truth. SNAP funds even emergency ones legally have to go through Congress before they can be dispersed. We ask that Your Spirit move across the nation to bring repentance and at the same time hope to all who lost benefits on Saturday. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Great Provider. We pray that this government shutdown will cease, and that all who are causing it be brought to accountability.
“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:8)

Trump designates Nigeria as 'country of particular concern' over widespread Christian persecution, killings
|
|
President Trump announced Friday that he is designating Nigeria as a " country of particular concern," citing the widespread killings of Christians in the West African country.
"Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria," Trump posted to Truth Social. "Thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter. I am hereby making Nigeria a "COUNTRY OF PARTICULAR CONCERN" — But that is the least of it."
The President emphasized that action must be taken when people are persecuted for their faith.
"The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria, and numerous other Countries," Trump said. "We stand ready, willing, and able to save our Great Christian population around the World!" (Fox News) Read more here.

|
Thank You, Father, for this designation. Let consequences roll against those who are murdering Your people and bring repentance where it can be granted.

Federal judge blocks Trump order requiring citizenship proof on federal voter registration forms
|
|
A federal judge has ruled the Trump administration cannot enforce an executive order requiring documented proof of U.S. citizenship on federal voter registration forms, a decision the administration defends as a lawful effort to protect election integrity.
U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly in Washington, D.C., on Friday found the requirement unconstitutional, writing that the president "lacks the authority to direct such changes."
"The first question presented in these consolidated cases is whether the president, acting unilaterally, may direct changes to federal election procedures," Kollar-Kotelly wrote in her opinion.
"Because our Constitution assigns responsibility for election regulation to the States and to Congress, this Court holds that the President lacks the authority to direct such changes."
However, a spokesperson for the White House told Fox News Digital Trump acted within his legal powers.
"President Trump has exercised his lawful authority to ensure only American citizens are casting ballots in American elections," White House deputy press secretary Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital in an email. "This is so commonsense that only the Democrat Party would file a lawsuit against it.
"We expect to be vindicated by a higher court." (Fox News) Read more here

Lord, we pray that You will decide these plans with favor for our elections so that they are not abused by illegal voting. We ask that lower courts use wisdom in their rulings.

Breaking: Trump Threatens to Send Troops to Nigeria 'Guns-a-Blazing' to Stop Christian Mass Killings
|
|
|
One day after President Donald Trump denounced the slaughter of Christians in Nigeria, he raised the possibility of military action if Nigeria does nothing to stop Islamic terrorists who have been operating with little to no governmental resistance.
“If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT BETTER MOVE FAST!” Trump wrote.
In response to Trump’s action, Nigeria promised it would fight extremism, but also denied the reported mass killings qualified as “genocide.”
“For the avoidance of any doubt, and out of respect for all the victims and survivors around the world of this unique and appalling crime against humanity, let the record show that there is no genocide, now or ever, in Nigeria,” Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, said, according to Newsweek.
During his first term, Trump placed Nigeria on a watchlist for its actions against Christians. (Western Journal) Read more here.

Father God, we thank You that our President has now stated that he is ready to take action against the nation of Nigeria because of its horrific slaughtere of tens of thousands of believers on their land. Holy One, we praise You and we ask that
You would bless Your wisdom upon President Trump as he makes this move. In Your Name, amen and amen.

1. Iran says won’t dismantle missiles, ready for war with Israel - JNS
Iran said on Saturday that although it is prepared to engage in talks about its nuclear ambitions, its missile program is not up for discussion.
“We are ready to talk to address concerns about our nuclear program. We emphasize the peaceful nature of our nuclear program. It is possible to reach a fair agreement, but Washington has set impossible and unacceptable preconditions,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Al Jazeera.
He added, “There will be no negotiations on our missile program. It would be foolish if one hands over his weapons.”
The top diplomat moreover stated that his country is “prepared for any scenario” in the wake of its 12-day war with Israel in June. Tehran expects “hostile behavior from the Zionist regime. We are at the apex of preparedness at all levels. Israel will suffer another defeat in any future war,” he said. (Read more)

2. Police arrest Military Advocate General and Chief Military Prosecutor
- Israel National News
Police arrested the Military Advocate General, Major General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, along with the Chief Military Prosecutor, early Monday morning.
Both are being questioned on suspicion of obstruction of investigative proceedings and breach of trust, partly in connection with the disappearance of Tomer-Yerushalmi’s mobile phone.
Police are considering whether to request an extension of Tomer-Yerushalmi’s detention at the Rishon LeZion Magistrate’s Court.
On Sunday evening, police announced that Tomer-Yerushalmi had been found safe and sound after being declared missing with serious concern for her life. She contacted her husband, who immediately informed the police. (Read more)

3. Netanyahu: Disgraced military advocate general caused state’s worst PR crisis
- JNS
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday blamed Military Advocate General Maj. Gen. Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi for “perhaps the most severe public relations attack the State of Israel has experienced since its establishment,” after she admitted to leaking video recordings allegedly showing the mistreatment of terrorist detainees from Gaza.
The video of the alleged incident at the Sde Teiman detention center in the Negev “caused immense damage to the image of the State of Israel and the [Israel Defense Forces], to our soldiers,” the premier told reporters on Sunday, speaking ahead of the weekly Cabinet meeting in Jerusalem.
Netanyahu said the public-relations damage Jerusalem suffered due to the leak was more “focused with such intensity” than any previous assault on Israel’s international legitimacy that he could recall. (Read more)

4. Al-Qaeda terrorist arrested for planning to kill Netanyahu - World Israel News
A teenage boy from the Tel Aviv metropolitan area has been charged with spying for the radical Islamist terror group Al Qaeda after he allegedly established contact with members of the extremist Sunni group.
On Sunday, prosecutors filed an indictment against the 14-year-old suspect, an Arab Israeli resident of Jaffa, in the Tel Aviv District Youth Court.
Investigators say the teenage terrorist reached out to terrorists affiliated with Al Qaeda, and provided information to operatives linked with the organization.
According to the indictment, the teenage suspect presented himself online as a “Muslim spy” living in a city in the greater Tel Aviv area. (Read more)

5. Turkish FM Hosts Hamas Delegation Ahead of Guarantors Meeting in Istanbul
- Algemeiner
i24 News – Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Hamas chief Khalil al-Khayya and other senior members of the jihadist group’s political bureau in Istanbul on Saturday.
Al-Hayya, a senior Hamas negotiator, was among the terror chiefs surviving an Israeli strike on their Doha residence last month. Topics of discussion, according to the Turkish foreign ministry, included the state of the ceasefire and the flow of humanitarian aid.
The meeting comes ahead of Monday’s Istanbul gathering of the foreign ministers of the so-called “guarantor countries” as stipulated in the ceasefire plan put forth by the U.S. administration of President Donald Trump. The countries include Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. (Read more)

1. Supreme Court prepares to confront monumental case over Trump executive power and tariff authority - Fox News
Economic imperative or executive overreach? That is the question the Supreme Court is preparing this week to confront, in one of its most monumental appeals over the scope of executive power, a time-sensitive challenge to President Donald Trump's expansive import tariffs over most countries.
The justices will hear oral arguments Wednesday over lawsuits from a coalition of small businesses and several Democratic-led states, who say Trump has abused his authority by declaring a "national emergency" to impose levies on nearly every country in the world.
At issue is whether the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) gives the president that power.
Lower federal courts have ruled against the Executive Branch, but Trump's Justice Department warns "denial of tariff authority would expose our nation to trade retaliation without effective defenses."
The financial and political stakes are enormous, with potential immediate effects on the domestic and global economies. Businesses and industries, large and small, are nervously watching how the Court will act. (Read more)

|
Holy Lord, we need tariffs to bring in extra money to help pay down the nation’s overwhelming debt. Other countries have charged the US huge tariffs on nearly all of our products, and the tariffs even the playing field. We ask that You guide the Supreme Court into true wisdom and grant favor to the President in this matter.
“The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives.” (Psalm 37:21)

2. Acquittal of man who urged violence against Trump puts First Amendment in spotlight - Fox News
The First Amendment won out this week in a court case over a man who had repeatedly called for President Donald Trump’s assassination and openly fantasized about his violent demise.
A jury in Virginia acquitted the man, Peter Stinson, of one charge of soliciting a crime of violence, raising questions about when speech is protected by the Constitution and when it becomes incriminating.
A former longtime Coast Guard officer, Stinson had called for someone to "take the shot" in reference to Trump, according to court papers. "Realistically the only solution is violence," Stinson wrote.
Stinson said he "would twist the knife after sliding it into [Trump’s] fatty flesh" and that he "would be willing to pitch in" for a hitman contract.
"He wants us dead. I can say the same thing about him," Stinson wrote in another post during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
A witness for the defense, Professor Jen Golbeck of the University of Maryland, said people "rooting for Trump to die online" is common. (Read more)

Holy God of Justice, this is a horrifying situation that allows suggestions of violence against the President because “it’s common.” It most certainly should NOT be “common.” This is not about the First Amendment; this is about violent rhetoric targeting our elected officials and Republicans. We pray for repentance for all sides, the judge, jury, and the defendant.
“The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.” (Psalm 11:5)

3. Even Fellow Liberal Supreme Court Justices Are Getting Fed Up with Ketanji Brown Jackson: Report – Western Journal
When you use skin color and chromosomes as criteria for filling positions of trust, as opposed to filling those positions with the best people regardless of skin color or chromosomes, you will not, unless by accident, get the best people for the job.
No public figure in recent memory exemplifies this maxim more than Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. But that does not even tell half of the story.
According to The New York Times, Jackson has found herself increasingly at odds not only with SCOTUS’ nominally conservative majority, but also with her fellow liberals, Justices Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor.
“Badly outnumbered, seated for the long haul of life tenure, Justices Kagan and Jackson in particular are divided on the best approach to jobs in which they are more or less sentenced to fail,” the Times wrote.
Meanwhile, the outlet also noted “friction” between Jackson on one hand and Kagan and Sotomayor on the other. (Read more)

Lord, Ketanji Jackson should not have been confirmed to the Supreme Court, but You can change a heart. We ask that You visit her in the night seasons, and reveal truth, as well as bring repentance to her life.

4. Report: DOJ Investigating Black Lives Matter For Misuse of Donations – Breitbart
The Justice Department is probing whether Black Lives Matter (BLM) defrauded donors who sent the organization millions of dollars during the racial justice protests in 2020, the Associated Press is reporting.
Federal law enforcement authorities have issued subpoenas and served a search warrant as part of an investigation into the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, Inc. that helped ignite protests in U.S. cities following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis in May 2020, anonymous sources told the wire service.
Protests in some locations resulted in deaths, rioting, looting, fires, and extensive property destruction.
According to AP:
It was not clear if the investigation would result in criminal charges, but its mere existence invites fresh scrutiny to a movement that in recent years has faced criticism about its public accounting of donations it has received. The recent burst of investigative activity is also unfolding at a time when civil rights organizations have raised concerns about the potential for the Trump administration to target a variety of progressive and left-leaning groups that have been critical of him, including those affiliated with BLM, the transgender rights movement and anti-ICE protesters.
The Justice Department declined to comment on the Thursday report. (Read more)
|
|
|
Lord, we ask for accountability to those who participated in the BLM riots and took donations illegally. The media basically ignored them, calling them “peaceful protests” regardless of their own statements about being Marxist and wanting to tear down the country. Let repentance flow, Holy Lord for participants and leaders.
“The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.” (Acts 17:30)

5. Deep State Turns Blind Eye To Trump’s Ban On Gain-Of-Function Research- Daily Caller
The Trump administration has whiffed its deadline to ban lab-made pandemic viruses by more than eight weeks, worrying biosafety hawks and undercutting assurances from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that the policy remains on track.
A May executive order required a handful of multi-agency leaders to oversee producing new federal policies on gain-of-function (GOF) research by Sept. 2.
“The atom has been split in biology with COVID, but nobody seems to be talking about it with urgency,” said Sean Kaufman, CEO and founding partner of biosafety consulting firm Safer Behaviors.
The issue pits Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has for years argued that an NIH-Wuhan Institute of Virology collaboration caused COVID-19, against NIH staff who adamantly oppose that view. In the middle stands NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya, whose promotion and protection of a member of Anthony Fauci’s inner circle and waffling statements have left some observers with a sense of déjà vu. Lord, we pray that You will work within both the scientific community and legislative branch to bring an end to any research that can bring about a worldwide pandemic.
“Some were fools through their sinful ways, and because of their iniquities suffered affliction; they loathed any kind of food, and they drew near to the gates of death. Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He sent out His Word and healed them,
and delivered them from their destruction.” (Psalm 107: 17-20)

6. ICE Detains Criminal Migrants Who Hid in a Chicago Area K-12 School - Breitbart
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) caught two criminal migrants Thursday as they ran into a Chicago area school, expecting they would be safe inside thanks to the state’s sanctuary policies.
The two Mexican nationals, who both had long criminal records, ran into the Warren Township High School’s O’Plaine Campus, in Gurnee, a suburb north of Chicago, according to WLS-TV.
The illegal aliens had led officers on a ten-minute car chase causing multiple car accidents before abandoning their vehicle and fleeing on foot into the school.
Some expressed concern over the entrance of the school by ICE officers, and Warren Township High School District 121 Superintendent Daniel Woestman said he understood that the momentary chaos might have alarmed some. (Read more)

Lord God of Truth, we ask that You protect our children from the danger that illegal immigrants pose. Let no school be a safe harbor for them, and let Your Blood cover all Americans.

Federal appeals court hands Trump this massive victory against one Obama judge
|
|
|
An Obama-appointed judge tried something unprecedented in her effort to micromanage President Trump's border enforcement operations in Chicago.
U.S. District Judge Sara Ellis, appointed by Barack Obama in 2013, ordered Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino to appear before her every single weekday at 6 p.m. for personal briefings about Operation Midway Blitz.¹
Ellis wanted daily reports on how agents enforce immigration law and whether they're "staying within constitutional bounds."²
The order came after weeks of complaints about federal agents using tear gas during immigration enforcement operations that have resulted in more than 1,800 arrests since September.³
But the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals stepped in Wednesday and blocked Ellis's order before Bovino's first scheduled meeting.⁴
The appeals court gave the Trump administration breathing room to fight back against what the Department of Homeland Security called "an act of judicial overreach."⁵
"We are thrilled this act of judicial overreach has been paused," DHS said in a statement.⁶ (Right News Wire) Read more here.

|
|
Lord, we thank You that at least one part of the constant judicial overreach has been blocked by the Appeals Court. We pray that this problem will be stopped in all cases across the board. We ask that the Holy Spirit bring a flood of repentance and wisdom to all judges regardless of who appointed them.
“Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future.” (Proverbs 19:20)

In late September 2017, Palestinian American activist Linda Sarsour, once the darling of the Women’s March and the self-declared face of the "resistance" against Donald Trump, was facing mounting criticism for antisemitic remarks and her embrace of extremist views.
But, beaming in a photograph taken on a city sidewalk, Sarsour appeared unfazed, her iconic fist pumped in the air as she knelt shoulder-to-shoulder with campaign volunteers for City Council candidate Khader El-Yateem. The photo was posted by El-Yateem on the Facebook page he used to promote his campaign, which he lost, but among the smiling faces was a young organizer named Zohran Mamdani.
In late September 2017, Palestinian American pastor Khader El-Yateem shared a photo of his campaign team from his bid to be elected to New York's City Council from Brooklyn's District 43. Palestinian American political organizer Linda Sarsour (far left, front row) took a knee with Zohran Mamdani (fourth from right, white shirt). El-Yattem lost the race. (@Khader El-Yateem/Facebook) (@Khader El-Yateem/Facebook)
That photo would mark the start of a carefully constructed political project that, in less than a decade, would propel a now-34-year-old socialist newcomer to the precipice of running America’s largest city – even while campaigning with radical imams, some of whom have supported terrorists and terrorist financiers. We ask You, too, to forgive the voters in New York City who are about to cast their ballots in his favor. Lord God, we ask You to take the scales off of their eyes, so they will know the truth ant the TRUTH will set them free!
In Jesus' name, amen and amen!

Dear Friends,
Greetings from New York City.
We are still rejoicing over the release of the hostages. It is a miracle that 20 of them came back alive and we will continue to pray until they are all back. Please keep the hostages, their families, and all families who have lost loved ones in your prayers. May there be miracles of healing, both individually and for Israel as a nation.
In many nations, we can see a spirit of division trying to destroy their societies. Born from the ashes of the Holocaust and WWII, the United Nations, a global platform for its member states, is becoming increasingly antisemitic. With the rise of hatred against Israel on the streets of so many nations worldwide, how did the perpetrator-victim reversal occur so quickly and to such an extent?
Pride is a sin that God cannot tolerate. It leads to destruction and hate. God resisted King Nebuchadnezzar, who lost everything. After acknowledging God, he was restored and God demonstrated His sovereignty for all to see.
Daniel 4:34-35: says “At the end of the days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me. I blessed the most High, praised, and honored him who lives forever, for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. None can stay his hand or say to him, ‘What have you done?’”
As we can see in this verse, God is in control of the earth, the United Nations, and all peoples, no matter how the situation appears.

We will not forget the 13 remaining deceased hostages who have been held in Gaza for more than 2 years. Pray for the return of all their bodies. Keep the freed and living hostages in your prayers for mental and physical healing, restoration and a full recovery, along with their families.
-
Pray for Judge Julia Sebutinde at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), who stands with Israel. There are still calls for her to resign as one of the 17 judges who is working on the genocide case against Israel.
-
Pray for the humanitarian situation in Gaza. New ways need to be found to support the civilians with needed goods and prevent the humanitarian aid from falling into Hamas’ hands. UNRWA has a very bad track-record in Israel and needs to be reformed. It must show more accountability and under no circumstances work with the terrorist organization Hamas. There are a variety of other organizations distributing aid to the people in Gaza; pray for their protection and acceptance by the people of Gaza.
-
Please continue to pray for an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Hidden medieval halls discovered beneath

Archaeologists uncover ancient book clasps, reading stones and animal bones during library construction
Scientists recently unearthed the remains of multiple academic halls at Oxford University — revealing new insights into the lives of students in the Middle Ages.
Archaeologists have been excavating the grounds of Hertford College, a constituent college of Oxford University, since 2024, as part of construction work for a new library.
The finds were showcased during an open day at the college in September. During the excavation, archaeologists uncovered the remains of the back parts of three medieval halls: Hart Hall, Black Hall and Catte Hall.
The halls all predated the 1874 refounding of Hertford College. Since Hart Hall was created in the 1280s, the excavation yielded medieval finds. Officials said the discoveries spanned the time of the Norman Conquest in 1066 up to the 19th century.
Ancient book clasps — used to keep manuscript tomes shut — were uncovered at the site, along with styli, the medieval equivalents of pens and pencils.
Rubbish pits also contained various food waste, including animal bones and oyster shells.
Interestingly, researchers determined that the fish remains were imported from London's River Thames, some 50 miles away. (Fox News) Read More
