Erika Kirk to Receive Patriot Award
Turning Point CEO and Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, is set to receive the inaugural Charlie Kirk Legacy Award as part of Fox Nation’s Patriot Awards. The award honors one who “embodies Charlie’s mission and his spirit of free speech, faith, and family,” Fox explained. The ceremony will be held at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Brookville, New York, with Sean Hannity serving as the master of ceremonies. Country singer Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany Aldean, will join Fox News’ Jesse Watters in presenting the award to Erika Kirk.

Erika Kirk was recently named one of TIME’s “most influential rising stars” in the world. Reporter Nik Popli wrote for TIME that Erika Kirk “'offered something rare in today’s politics: forgiveness.'  Her words may frame the future of the organization her husband launched as a teen and built into a political powerhouse mobilizing young conservatives across the country. Along the way, Erika Kirk emerged as an influential voice for that same audience. With his death, the Turning Point USA board named her CEO and chair,” Popli wrote, adding that “what Erika Kirk models to America’s political leadership is the strength of resilience and grace.” (American Faith). Father, we pray Fox Nation's 'Charlie Kirk Legacy Award' received by Erika Kirk, will not only honor Charlie's mission but will also serve as an important reminder in protecting free speech, standing boldly for faith and promoting sanctity of marriage and family.  We pray for Erika as she continues her husband's legacy. May her action of genuine forgiveness towards her husbands assassin, plant an abundant seed into souls not currently walking with the Lord. May Erika's way of living biblical principals bring many into the Kingdom of Almighty God, all for Your holy GLORY!  By the powerful Name and Blood of Jesus Christ we pray- Amen and Amen.

"Wait for the LORD and keep his way, and He will exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you will see it." (Psalm 37:34)

Trump says election results not good for Republicans, citing 2 possible reasons
Trump pushes GOP senators to end filibuster as Democrats celebrate victories across multiple states

President Donald Trump said on Wednesday morning that the ongoing government shutdown was partly to blame for Republican losses on Election Day.

Trump told reporters during a breakfast with GOP lawmakers at the White House that election night on Tuesday "was not expected to be a victory," saying the 36-day government shutdown was one of two possible reasons.

"I think, if you read the pollsters, the shutdown was a big factor," Trump said. "Negative for the Republicans, and that was a big factor."

Trump added: "And they say that I wasn't on the ballot and was the biggest factor. But I don't know about that. But I was honored that they said that."

His remarks come after Democrats won resoundingly in multiple states on Tuesday, with exit polls showing economic worries were very much on the minds of voters.

"I don't think it was good for Republicans," Trump said of the election results. "I don't think it's good. I'm not sure it was good for anybody."

Some major losses for Republicans included the New York City mayoral race, and contests for governor in New Jersey and Virginia. Democrats also secured another expected win in California, where voters approved a new congressional map that is designed to help their party win five more U.S. House seats in next year’s midterm elections.

On the morning following the defeats, Trump called on lawmakers to bring the 36-day government shutdown, now the longest on record, to an end.

"We must get the government open," Trump said, going on to push Republican senators to end the filibuster. "It’s time for Republicans to do what they have to do," he said. "Terminate the filibuster." (Fox News) Read more here.

Abba, we give You thanks and praise that in the face of the Republican losses Tuesday night You are still God, on Your throne and still the one who sets kings up and brings them down.  Father God, we believe that You always have a reason and purpose for the things You do, whether we understand or not.  We thank You that Your hands are all over this election to accomplish Your intentions for our nation.  Father God, please open our eyes to see You moving in all these circumstances, open our understanding and give us Your prayers for our nation as we move forward.

Most importantly, we acknowledge that there have been fractures in Your body over the last year or more, we ask You to step in and, if need be, draw pictures on a blackboard, so we can follow You no matter where You take us.  Give us courage when we don't know where You are leading, build our trust as we come together to be Your hands and feet as we walk out this path with You.  We ask for Holy Spirit's presence to protect us from the enemy and continue to teach us to discern what his path looks like and what Yours looks like.  In Your love and mercy keep us on the right path.  We ask this in the name El Shaddai, God Almighty, the God who has ultimate power over all things.

"He rules forever by his power, his eyes watch the
nations --- let not the rebellious rise up against him."

‘Pit in my stomach’: As Cuomo concedes, Jewish supporters ‘torn apart’ by Mamdani win
The centrist, pro-Israel Cuomo’s loss to Mamdani hit Jewish supporters particularly hard. They expressed fear, disappointment and frustration that a far-left anti-Israel activist will now helm the city, home to the Diaspora’s largest Jewish community.

“I was very hopeful until the very end,” said Ariel Kohane, a Modern Orthodox Jew from Manhattan. “It’s like a big empty pit in my stomach.”

Kohane, a Republican, said he supported Sliwa until a few days ago, only switching to Cuomo when he saw that Sliwa did not have a path to victory. Kohane ran the New York City marathon over the weekend while carrying a Cuomo placard — a notable concession for the die-hard Republican — and wearing a kippah showing US President Donald Trump.

“I said, ‘Well, I have to go to Cuomo because he’s the best shot, the only way to stop Mamdani,’” Kohane said. “At least Cuomo is not antisemitic. At least he’s going to allow Jews to live our lives.”

“Even wearing a yarmulke in the street now is probably going to get a lot more dangerous. It’s not something that I ever thought would happen anywhere in the United States of America, let alone New York,” he said.

Moshe Spern, who runs a group that supports Jewish teachers in the city and volunteered for the Cuomo campaign, said he fears the effects of education under a Mamdani administration.

“I’m worried about the indoctrination of kids hating Israel, thinking that Israel is a pariah, thinking that Israel commits genocide, something that Zohran has gone around saying for two years,” he said.

“I’m concerned about the education and how the next generation of kids are going to think and vote. I’m worried about the future of this city, and I’m worried about the future of this country,” Spern said. “As Jewish people, we have to remember that, while things didn’t turn out the way we wanted it, there’s always a greater plan for all of us and we just have to stick together.” (Times of Israel) Read more

Abba, Your kids in New York City need Your presence.  Their new mayor, Zorhan Mamdani, has not been shy in speaking of his hatred and disdain for them.  His words and attitude have created fearful hearts for the first time while living in NYC for many of them.  Father God, You know his heart and his intentions towards Your people, we ask that You will supernaturally block every negative decision, send Your Holy Spirit out to create fear and trembling in the hearts of Mayor Mamdani and his administration if they think to come against Your kids.

Lord God, give each and every person backing this anti-American, Anti-Israel demonic administration reason for pause, speak very directly to each heart, especially Mayor Mamdani's, that Your Jewish children hold a very special place in Your heart and to reach out to hurt them is like reaching out to try and hurt You.  Put the fear of the Living God into their minds, hearts, spirits and emotions.  We ask this in the name Yahweh Sabaoth, the Host of Heaven's Armies, the God who commands untold men and angels waiting to do His will.

"The Son of Man will send out his angels and
they will weed out of his kingdom
everything that causes sin and all who do evil."

At Least 12 Killed, 11 Injured in UPS Cargo Plane Crash in Kentucky

A UPS cargo plane crashed on Tuesday near Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) in Kentucky, killing at least 12 and injuring 11, with the governor noting many of the injured face “significant injuries.”

“Anybody who has seen the images, the video, knows how violent this crash is,” Gov. Andy Beshear said at a press conference Tuesday night.

The plane was headed to Honolulu from UPS Worldport at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport when it crashed, causing a massive explosion, at about 5:15 p.m. A UPS spokesperson told The Epoch Times in an email that three crew members were on board.

At least two nearby businesses were impacted by the crash, which appeared to take place in a busy industrial park, the governor said during a press conference.

In a video circulating on social media, the plane’s left engine can be seen on fire as it attempts to elevate its altitude, before scraping the roof of an industrial building across from the runway and crashing into the industrial park in a fireball, causing black smoke to rise into the sky. The plane was likely fully fueled for its long trip to Honolulu.

Abba, our hearts are breaking for all those whose lives were lost when the UPS MD 11 crashed in Louisville.  Father God, we pray for those who were hurt and all those who have lost loved ones in this horrible crash.  We ask for You to step into all of these circumstances, let miracles be seen in all the destruction, let Your hand move as only You can.  We ask You to speak the words that each heart needs to hear from You, You are the source of all mercy and healing, let them pour over all of these lives that have been torn apart in an instant.  Go before each one and make a way where they see no way, open doors, make the path straight, let Your love cover their minds and hearts until they can emotionally handle the loss.  We ask this in the name Yahweh Rohi, The Lord our Shepherd.

"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green
pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
 he refreshes my soul."

DC Mayor Implements Curfew for Minors as ‘Disorderly Juvenile Behavior’ Spikes

On Halloween night, the Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. became the grounds of a major brawl. Ten individuals, including four minors, were cuffed. According to police, it was a peaceful gathering until “several hundred juveniles” showed up, poured into the park, and began fighting, blocking traffic, and refusing to obey law enforcement. The unrest lasted from about 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and at least one officer was hurt amid the melee.

While not directly related, perhaps it’s no coincidence that D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) enacted a juvenile curfew the very next day — effective immediately. “We are declaring a limited juvenile curfew in Washington, DC,” the mayor wrote on X. “This is in response to several weeks of disorderly juvenile behavior which endangered both themselves and others.”

The curfew, which applies to anyone under 18, is from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Set to last through November 5th, the enforcement is taking place in “special zones,” which include Banneker Recreation Center, Union Station, Navy Yard, and the U Street Corridor. Bowser further noted that “the Chief of Police is also authorized to designate special curfew zones for youths under 18 beginning at 6PM.” Violators face fines upward of $300 or up to 10 days in jail. On the first night alone, the Metropolitan Police Department reported 18 violations — 14 of which came from the U Street Corridor.

In the midst of this ongoing crackdown, which continues to show results, Mayor Bowser has voiced support for the National Guard’s presence. Yet critics continue to fault her for years of lenient crime policies that, as some argue, necessitated federal intervention. Regarding her new curfew to reduce juvenile disorder, the Washington Examiner argued that it “is the result of years of Washington, D.C., Democrats effectively telling juvenile criminals that they can do what they like and face little to no consequences.” (The Washington Stand) Read more here.

Abba, it is heartbreaking to see so many teenagers overtaken by demonic powers, driven by a legal system that refuses to hold them accountable for their inappropriate behavior.  The District of Columbia's Attorney General, Brian Schwalb, is directly responsible for this wrong response to rebellious teenagers, he has decided that he knows better even though the teenagers are out of control and refusing to obey law enforcement.

Father God, we ask You to step in and put an end to this demonic stronghold.  We decree and declare that the Spirit of lawlessness is gagged and bound, that it no longer has dominion over these kids or over The District of Columbia,  We ask Holy Spirit to dispatch Your warrior angels to fight this battle for us in the heavenlies so intercessors can pray it into the earth realm.  We say that Jesus is Lord of all the earth and skies, that the enemy can do nothing but obey.  We speak all of this in the name of Jesus, our strong tower, our defender.  AMEN

"Everyone who sins breaks the
law; in fact, sin is lawlessness."

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Yemen at a crossroads after Netanyahu’s warning on the Houthi threat - i24 News

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent declaration that Israel is determined to eliminate the Houthi threat did not go unnoticed in Yemen.

The statement signals a potential new phase in the Red Sea security landscape, where local dynamics intersect with regional and international strategies.

Over the past years, the Houthis have evolved from a local insurgency into a key Iranian-aligned actor capable of threatening global maritime routes and launching long-range attacks.

The Red Sea, especially the Bab al-Mandab strait, has become a critical flashpoint, placing Yemen at the center of international security concerns. (Read more)

2. Hamas hands over body of another Israeli hostage via Red Cross
- World Israel News

The Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet security agency announced Wednesday evening that representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross had arrived at a designated meeting point in northern Gaza to receive the body of an Israeli hostage.

According to the statement, the remains were transferred to Israeli authorities for identification.

The name of the fallen hostage has not yet been publicly released.

Earlier in the day, Hamas claimed it had located the remains during searches in the Shijaiyah neighborhood of Gaza City, an area that has seen heavy fighting and extensive Israeli operations.

The group said the body would be handed over at 9:00 p.m. local time, and coordination for the transfer was facilitated through the Red Cross. (Read more)

3. Israeli minister: ‘Gaza war is not ended’ as Hamas won’t disarm - JNS

The war against Hamas in Gaza isn’t over, because the Islamic terror group will not willingly give up its weapons, Israeli Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Avi Dichter said on Wednesday.

The blunt comments by the senior Israeli minister, a former head of the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and a member of the Security Cabinet, come amid increasing Israeli concerns regarding the second stage of the U.S.-brokered Gaza ceasefire plan.

“The war is not ended; it is a ceasefire to prepare ourselves [for] the next stage,” Dichter said in an address hosted by the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs.  “If necessary, the ceasefire can be disappeared within minutes, as it was the other week,” he added, referring to the Israeli military retaliation following the lethal Hamas attack which killed an IDF soldier. 4. Israel detects significant Hezbollah buildup - Israel National News

During a security briefing convened by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, senior defense officials issued grave warnings that Hezbollah is undergoing a rapid process of rearmament and infrastructure reconstruction in southern Lebanon.

Officials revealed that the terrorist organization is smuggling short-range rockets from Syria and deploying terrorists in villages near the Israeli border.

According to security sources, Hezbollah is actively rebuilding structures damaged in previous strikes and continues to station loyal operatives throughout the area.

5. Czech foreign minister says sanctions threat off the table as EU mellows on Israel - Times of Israel

There is no chance that the European Union will impose sanctions on Israel over the conflict in Gaza, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky told The Times of Israel in an interview, putting the kibosh on threatened penalties meant to pressure Jerusalem over its policies in the Strip, where fighting has been paused for nearly a month.

According to Lipavsky, who visited Israel Thursday on a single-day trip, Prague and other countries in the 27-nation bloc would head off any attempt by Brussels to impose sanctions on Israel, which counts the EU as its largest trade partner.

“Of course, there are some countries that would like to put sanctions on Israel… But I don’t see any chance that such sanctions would be approved, and not only because of Czechia, but many others [in the EU],” said Lipavsky, who was on his third wartime visit to Israel. (Read more)

1. Soros empire heir celebrates victory of Muslim socialist in NYC mayoral race - DML News

Alexander Soros, a far-left Jewish billionaire and the son of Open Society Foundations founder Geroge Soros, has congratulated the radical Democrat Socialist winner of the New York City mayor race, Zohran Mamdani.

Mamdani, 34, who was born in Uganda, will now become the first Muslim and the first Socialist to be mayor of the largest city in America.

Alex Soros, 40, who succeeded his father as chair of the board of directors of the massive $25 billion Open Society Foundations nonprofit in 2022, admitted Tuesday in an email to the New York Times that he had voted for Mamdani.

“I was proud to support and vote for the Democratic candidate for mayor,” Soros declared.
Fox News explained that the Open Society Foundations reportedly donated $37 million across the last decade to left-wing groups that ultimately promoted Mamdani’s nomination this year, such as the Working Families Party. (Read more)

Lord God, we just lift up the city of New York to you! No matter how far gone it seems, we know that nothing is impossible with  You, Lord, and so we just commit these tragic situations to You. We ask for your help to clean up this mess. Raise up godly leaders, Lord, and give Christians and conservatives the boldness and the courage to do what is right. In Jesus' name, amen.

“But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)

2. FBI fires, unfires, then refires agents linked to Jack Smith probe - NBC News

At least two FBI agents involved in past investigations into President Donald Trump were told Monday that they had been fired, only to learn later in the day that those terminations had been reversed or put on hold, according to six people familiar with the decisions.

Then on Tuesday morning, the two agents learned they had indeed been fired, along with two other employees, according to three of the people familiar with the decisions.

The chaotic process highlights the turmoil and uncertainty across federal law enforcement amid overhauls at the Justice Department and FBI that have targeted those who helped secure indictments against Trump or are viewed by the president as aligned with his political enemies.
The targeted FBI agents were tied to either special counsel Jack Smith’s probe or the initial investigation into Trump that began in 2022 and that the FBI dubbed “Arctic Frost.” (Read more)

We pray for our justice department, our FBI, and all agencies that corruption would be found out, accountability would be had, and integrity is restored to these agencies. We break all evil agendas, bribes, schemes and plots of the enemy to try and weaponize these agencies, in Jesus' name, amen.

"Is anything too hard for the Lord?" (Genesis 18:14)

3. Maine voters reject new Republican-backed voter ID requirement, absentee voting changes - WABI

Voters in Maine have rejected a sweeping proposal centered on voter ID. The initiative would implement a photo ID requirement for voters, limit the use of drop boxes for returning completed ballots and make changes to the state’s absentee voting system.

The measure was one of two Republican-backed initiatives under consideration by voters on Tuesday that proponents said would safeguard elections and opponents claimed were intended to make voting more difficult or address issues that aren’t major problems.

Voters in Texas, where Republicans control the government, considered a proposal that would amend the state constitution to add “persons who are not citizens of the United States” to the list of those excluded from participating in elections. (Read more)

We pray for the voters of Maine and all over the country that the eyes of their hearts will be flooded with light to the issue of Voter Fraud and that this is a real concern in our elections. We pray, Lord, that integrity is restored to our elections, for it is a vital part of living in a free nation to know that our vote counts. And so we pray that this becomes a priority for all the people all over our nation. In Jesus' name, amen.

“For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them.” (Isaiah 61:8)

4. Trump announces nominee to lead NASA - DML News

President Donald Trump announced in a Truth Social post Tuesday evening that he is re-nominating Jared Isaacman as the administrator of NASA.

Sean Duffy has done an incredible job as Interim Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). This evening, I am pleased to nominate Jared Isaacman, an accomplished business leader, philanthropist, pilot, and astronaut, as Administrator of NASA. Jared’s passion for Space, astronaut experience, and dedication to pushing the boundaries of exploration, unlocking the mysteries of the universe, and advancing the new Space economy, make him ideally suited to lead NASA into a bold new Era.

Congratulations to Jared, his wife Monica, and their children, Mila and Liv. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT. (Read more)

Lord God, we pray for Jared and his family and all those that he would oversee in NASA that they would be people of integrity and sound character. We pray, Lord, that he commits his way to you and he implements justice and righteousness in this department. We also break all ungodly influences and evil agendas that would try to have their way in NASA, in Jesus' name, amen.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5)

5. Trump makes bold announcement on SNAP benefits - DML News

President Donald Trump declared in a Truth Social post Tuesday morning that the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) food stamp benefits will remain frozen until Democrats vote to open up the government. On Friday of last week, two separate federal judges had ordered the Trump administration to continue funding the program, despite the shutdown.

Trump had first responded by saying he has been warned that the administration doesn’t really have the legal authority to resume the SNAP payments, without action by Congress. And Congress has not voted to open the government.

But on Tuesday, Trump released the following fiery statement:

SNAP BENEFITS, which increased by Billions and Billions of Dollars (MANY FOLD!) during Crooked Joe Biden’s disastrous term in office (Due to the fact that they were haphazardly “handed” to anyone for the asking, as opposed to just those in need, which is the purpose of SNAP!), will be given only when the Radical Left Democrats open up government, which they can easily do, and not before! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT  (Read more)

Father God, we do thank You for President Trump, who has the courage to "call a spade a spade" and decree truth, even when these figures are literally painful. We ask that You continue to provide for the needs of our people until the Senate passes this measure and the shutdown ends.

Lord God we also pray for our members of Congress that You give them the discerning wisdom that only You can provide, setting them on the right path and giving them clarity, courage, and commitment to justice. We pray for unity to work alongside one another for the best interest of our nation. We break division and ungodly agendas in Jesus' name. May they be people of integrity and honesty in the tasks they have been given to carry out. We lift each one to You, Lord, for Your divine protection in these turbulent days. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen!

“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.” (I Corinthians 1:10)
6. Elon Musk posts copy of ‘scam ballot’ from New York City - DML News

The ballot for the high-stakes election in New York City is a confusing mess, and billionaire Elon Musk has drawn attention to the situation by posting a copy of the ballot on X Tuesday morning.

Musk wrote:
The New York City ballot form is a scam!
– No ID is required
– Other mayoral candidates appear twice
– Cuomo’s name is last in bottom right

Sure enough, the ballot shows that many candidates are listed TWICE on the ballot.

Zohran Mamdani is listed under both the “Democratic” and “Working Families” parties. His name is also the very first one on the list.
Bizarrely, Curtis Sliwa is listed under “Republican” and “Protect Animals” parties.
Eric Adams, who is no longer even running, is listed under “Safe and Affordable.” (Read more)

Lord God we come against this agenda to steal elections that it will not succeed in Jesus' name. We have to have a standard of law and order in order to properly, protect and love all who want to become citizens of this great nation. We pray for steadfastness and endurance for all who may be disappointed by the outcomes of these elections to not give up. And we pray Lord that our leaders in our nation would rise up in love to protect the citizens of the United States, our voting rights, and implement laws that are safe for everyone to obey, in Jesus' name, amen.

“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” (James 1:2-4)

Daily Jot Special Report—Prophetic Impact
of the 2025 Election

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, November 6, 2025

New York City voters chose Zohran Mamdani, a self-described democratic socialist and the city’s first Muslim mayor. NYC is the nation’s most populous city, scarred by the 9/11 Islamic terror attack, and now led by a politician whose record on Israel and Hamas is more than alarming. In the campaign’s closing weeks, Mamdani refused to say Hamas should disarm and even doubled down on a vow to arrest Israel’s prime minister if he visited New York. That’s not normal city-business chatter. They’re worldview markers. When the keys of America’s financial and media capital are handed to a movement openly hostile to God and the Constitution, there are significant prophetic consequences for America.

Six years ago, this column warned that the Democratic Party was fast identifying as a socialist party. That wasn’t hyperbole; it was pattern recognition. The playbook is classic Hegelian drift: thesis (constitutional republic and markets), antithesis (state-managed “equity”), synthesis (soft-command economics with hard cultural enforcement). Read the Communist Manifesto and you see the blueprint that socialism keeps walking toward: abolish private property, centralize credit and transport, replace eternal truths with ideology, and abolish religion. When government becomes god, liberty withers, people lose the right to be wrong, and the state claims the authority to make you “right.” America’s promise is the opposite: God-given rights, limited government, and a civil society strong enough to correct itself without crushing dissent. Mamdani Names Transition Team
NEW YORK — New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani marked the morning after his historic victory by introducing a slate of transition advisers with deep ties to city government — a team meant to bolster the young, inexperienced democratic socialist as he prepares to take the helm of the country’s largest city.

Mamdani’s transition will be led by women leaders who’ve worked in the administrations of Bill de Blasio, Eric Adams and Michael Bloomberg.

Former first deputy mayor Maria Torres-Springer, former Federal Trade Commission chair Lina Khan, nonprofit president Grace Bonilla and city budget expert Melanie Hartzog will be his transition co-chairs. Progressive political strategist Elana Leopold, a de Blasio alum and senior Mamdani campaign adviser, will serve as the transition’s executive directive.

Together, they have backgrounds in social services, finance, city budgeting and housing development. Their roles on the transition team — meant to smooth a mayor-elect’s path from election in early November to inauguration in January — often serve as a de facto audition for appointments to City Hall.

With eyes on him nationally as he readies for a massive job and even more intense scrutiny, Mamdani is set to herald the start of a new era as he introduces his transition team Wednesday at the Unisphere in Queens.

Mamdani said he would stay focused on the cost of living, including rent, groceries and childcare.

In a statement about his transition, he vowed his City Hall “will show the nation how government can deliver when we put the people, not billionaires, first.”

The mayor-elect will enter City Hall on Jan. 1 to lead a city splintered after a fractious election and worried about President Donald Trump’s next moves, including his threat to federalize the National Guard and deploy them to a blue metropolis he says is beset by crime. (POLITICO) Read more here.

Father God, it is so difficult now to pray for anything that Mamdani will do, now that he has been elected Mayor of New York City. And yet, we do know that it is written and true that NOTHING IS TOO DIFFICULT FOR YOU! Therefore, we simply turn to You, Holy One, and we ask that You put a prophetic bridle in his mouth, so that all decisions he makes will be pleasing to You and done according to Your will. We ask that You activate this same strategy for all his advisors named in this article as well as those who will yet be named. Thank You, Holy One, for hearing our prayer, amen and amen.

"These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful." (Revelation 17:14)

We say, THANK YOU, GOD, that President Trump has now taken this step to call for an end to the 60-vote filibuster needed to pass special legislation in the Senate when its leaders call for this action to be done. Indeed, it is only because a filibuster has
been called for passage of the CR spending bill that our people are now "begging bread" and our air traffic controllers are not
able to do their jobs.

For many centuries, this ancient rule has only served to stall critical laws from being passed, allowing the opposing party to defeat legislation that they want to block. We say, "Come, Lord Jesus!" Bring an end to this procedure in the United States Senate. In Your name, Holy One, we offer this prayer, amen and amen!

"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." (JOHN 14:13-14)

Muslims Gloat over Zohran Mamdani's Election Victory: 'America's Mayor'

Islamic advocates are gloating over the election of a Muslim immigrant to the mayoralty of New York City.

“America’s Mayor is an American Muslim Immigrant,” declared the Pakistani-born lawyer and journalist Qasim Rashid as he celebrated Zohran Mamdani’s win.

“The election of New York City’s first Muslim mayor represents a historic turning point for American Muslim political engagement,” declared CAIR National, which has deep ties to the violent zealots in the Egyptian-origin Muslim Brotherhood, whose offshoots also include the Hamas group in Gaza.

The group immediately used Mamdani’s win to smear the Americans who denounced Hamas’s October 7 massacre of Israeli women and children:

"Mayor-Elect Mamdani’s ability to win while openly advocating for Palestinian human rights and experiencing a barrage of anti-Muslim hate also marks a historic rebuke of both Islamophobia and anti-Palestinian racism in politics."

"We commend the college students and other young people in New York City who, just one year after being smeared and brutalized for protesting the genocide in Gaza, helped elect a mayor who vocally opposes that genocide and supports the right to peaceful protest."

CAIR also declared victory in Virginia, where an Indian-born Muslim won the lieutenant governorship:

"Congratulations to Virginia Lt. Governor winner Ghazala Hashmi. State Senator Hashmi has made history as the first Muslim woman elected to statewide office ANYWHERE in America. We hope this historic moment will inspire American Muslims to continue pursuing public service across our country, God willing." (Breitbart) Read more here.
Lord God Almighty, this man is so dangerous, we hardly know how to pray! We ask that, by Your Mighty Hand, his election would not signal the beginning of a wave of Islamic takeover in our nation, but the end of it! Come Lord Jesus and rescue
Your people we pray, amen and amen!

"But He sets the needy securely on high away from affliction, And makes his families like a flock." (Psalm 107:41 NASB)

Typhoon Kalmaegi leaves over 60 dead in Philippines as hardest-hit province declares state of calamity

Powerful Typhoon Kalmaegi has left at least 66 people dead and caused widespread destruction in central Philippines before moving towards the coast of Vietnam.

Another 26 people were still missing on Wednesday following widespread flooding that trapped people on their roofs and swept away scores of cars in the worst-hit Cebu province.

Kalmaegi, locally known as Tino, intensified as it blew away from western Palawan  province into the South China Sea with sustained winds of up to 140kmph and gusts of up to 187kmph, the weather agency said. It is the 20th storm to hit the Philippines this year.

Before Kalmaegi's landfall, officials said more than 387,000 people had evacuated to safer ground in eastern and central Philippine provinces. Authorities had warned of torrential rains, potentially destructive winds and storm surges of up to 10ft.

Filipino authorities declared a state of calamity in the province of Cebu to allow authorities to disburse emergency funds more rapidly to deal with the latest natural disaster.

The bustling province of more than 2.4 million people in the central Philippines was the worst-hit region, accounting for at least 49 fatalities. The province was still recovering from a 6.9 magnitude earthquake that struck the region on 30 September that left at least 79 people dead and displaced thousands when houses collapsed or were severely damaged. BONUS! "WE GATHER TOGETHER!"
Sing it!
1. We gather together
to ask the Lord's blessing;
he chastens and hastens
his will to make known.
The wicked oppressing
now cease from distressing.
Sing praises to his name,
he forgets not his own.

2. Beside us to guide us,
our God with us joining,
ordaining, maintaining
his kingdom divine;
so from the beginning
the fight we were winning;
thou, Lord, wast at our side,
all glory be thine!

3. We all do extol thee,
thou leader triumphant,
and pray that thou still
our defender wilt be.
Let thy congregation
escape tribulation;
thy name be ever praised!
O Lord, make us free!

The Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
