Ex-Gay Man’s Life Radically Transformed by Jesus
|
|
Arch Kennedy, an author and former meteorologist, once lived a gay lifestyle before an encounter with Jesus changed everything. Kennedy, author of “The Weather’s Fine: My Method for Navigating Life’s Challenges,” told CBN News he “grew up in the church” but went on to struggle with addiction and same-sex attraction. “They instilled Christian values in us as children,” Kennedy said of his parents. “I left that, as I moved through my life, through my 20s and 30s, and where I got into heavy alcohol addiction through a good … chunk of my life.”
A few years ago, though, something changed. Kennedy said his sister, who is six years older, had been prodding him to join a Bible study. He was reluctant due to commitment struggles, but eventually the Lord convinced him to join. “I had never studied God’s Word,” Kennedy said. “A lot of my life, I barely even got to church, but I called myself a Christian.” Despite living a gay lifestyle, this backdrop of faith and devotion left Kennedy without negative views on faith and with an openness. At times, he had attempted to combine the Christian and gay lifestyles — but it was always a struggle to make that work. (Faithwire) Read More Here and Watch Interview

Trump Announces Israel-Hamas Deal
|
|
"All of the hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps toward a strong, durable, and everlasting peace."
U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced the first phase of an agreement aimed at ending the war between Israel and Hamas.
“I am very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first phase of our peace plan,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
The deal is expected to be formally signed on Thursday in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
“This means that all of the hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps toward a strong, durable, and everlasting peace,” Trump continued.
“All parties will be treated fairly! This is a great day for the Arab and Muslim world, Israel, all surrounding nations, and the United States of America, and we thank the mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, who worked with us to make this historic and unprecedented event happen,” he added. “Blessed are the peacemakers!” (JNS.org) Read more

- Abba, all glory and honor belong to You for bringing peace in the Israeli-Hamas war, we give You thanks for your son, Donald. Thank You that he has ears to hear, eyes to see and a heart to be obedient. We ask that all governmental tasks be completed immediately, that the hostages will ALL be released as quickly as possible. We ask that all things work together to bring this heart breaking season in Israel's history to an end. Holy Spirit, we ask You to send out angels to pour joy and praise into the hearts of all Israelis, let their praises come up to the throne of grace, let their hearts and minds finally be able to come to peace without fear, without the dread of one more day without those they love. Let there be rejoicing in heaven as Your kids come home!
Jesus, we ask for a lasting peace that only You can bring....AMEN
- "Submit to God and be at peace with him;
in this way prosperity will come to you."

"I Told Them What We Wanted":
Kristi Noem Delivers Blunt Warning to Portland Officials on Antifa
|
|
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said on Fox News Tuesday that she issued an ultimatum to Portland’s top officials to contain Antifa demonstrations.
President Donald Trump said in September that he ordered troops to defend U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities in Portland from Antifa after Noem requested reinforcements. On “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Noem said she told Portland’s mayor point-blank that federal authorities would “cover him up” with a surge of manpower if city leadership failed to enforce basic security measures.
“Just met with the mayor, and I’m so extremely disappointed. He’s continuing to play politics, did not commit to any of those promises and said that he’d give me an answer by tomorrow, and I’m hopeful that he will,” Noem told Watters. “What I told him is that if he did not follow through on some of these security measures for our officers [that] we were going to cover him up with more federal resources. And that we were going to send four times the amount of federal officers here so that the people of Portland could have some safety.” (Discern Report) Read more

- Abba, Your son, Donald, and his administration need Your help. We ask You to release whatever warrior angels are needed to fight against the demonic forces over Antifa and all other antiAmerican groups that have taken over the streets in downtown Portland, OR. Dispatch those needed to break through this demonic wall that has been erected against ICE and all other law enforcement agencies trying to protect the citizens of this city. We ask You to download supernatural strategies to Your intercessors, all who are looking to You for information and direction of how this needs to be prayed down. We decree and declare that the demonic forces are no match for angelic hosts, that these demon plans are destroyed by the power of the name of Jesus! That they no longer have any dominion over Portland, that each demon is stripped of all power derived from the enemy, in Jesus' Name. We ask this in the name El Gibhor, Mighty God, the God who will accomplish the destruction of His enemies.
- "But those who hate him he will repay to their
face by destruction; he will not be
slow to repay to their face those who hate him."

Revival and Collapse:
Two Sides of American's Church Moment
|
|
In the weeks since Charlie Kirk's death, something extraordinary has been stirring across America. Reports of revival are echoing through college campuses. Churches that once sat half-empty are filling up again. Young adults--some who hadn't darkened a church door in years--are showing up, praying, and asking hard questions about faith, evil, and eternity.
Yet at the very same time, another story is unfolding. Nearly 15,000 churches across the United States are expected to close their doors by the end of 2025. Once-thriving congregations are dwindling to nothing, sanctuaries are being sold off, and aging buildings that once echoed with hymns are now silent.
Two realities. One filled with hope, the other with heartbreak. How can both be true?
The Stirring of Revival
There's no denying it--something has awakened in America's spiritual bloodstream. College ministries are overflowing. Youth prayer meetings are spreading from campus to campus. People are once again talking about God in the grocery store, the classroom, the workplace.
For many, the shock of Charlie Kirk's death has served as a wake-up call--a reminder that no one is promised tomorrow. Suddenly, the questions that our culture had tried so hard to bury have risen again: What happens when we die? Why is evil so real? What am I living for?
Churches that preach truth and offer hope are finding that their pews can't hold everyone. Hearts are being moved, tears are being shed, and lives are being changed. It's not just emotion--it's hunger. A generation that was told they didn't need God is realizing they can't live without Him.
But Across Town--Churches Are Dying
Yet for every church experiencing revival, there are others on life support. Mainline Protestant denominations--Methodists, Presbyterians, Lutherans--are seeing congregations shutter at alarming rates. In some cases, entire regions are losing their local churches altogether.
Why this collapse?

- Abba, this article has some very hard truths in it, but truths nonetheless. Father God, we ask You to speak to the hearts of those shepherds whose churches are dying, remind them of the love that once drew them to You, remind them of those moments when You were so alive to them, those moments they can't seem to find anymore. Holy Spirit, we ask for You to supernaturally speak to each of those hearts, give them remembrances from Your word, the truths that once seemed so real, yet have now lost their relevance when compared to "all the good that people do".
Jesus, bring someone into their path to ask the hard question, 'if what you are following in Jesus' pathway, why is no one following you?' If Jesus is the great shepherd, why have the sheep left?
Lord, bring them to the end of themselves, let these types of thoughts run through heads, allow the scales to fall from their eyes, Bring them back home to You. We ask this in the name Yahweh Rohi, The Lord Our Shepherd, the shepherd who knows our every need, our every thought.
- "Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this
people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours?" (2 Chron. 1:10)

1. Gaza ceasefire to take effect Thursday evening, hostages to be returned by Monday - Jerusalem Post
A ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip will go into effect after the Israeli government ratifies the deal on Thursday evening, Reuters cited an official from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office as saying.
After the government approves the ceasefire, a 24-hour period will commence during which the decision will be able to be appealed to the High Court of Justice. Once that period ends, then Hamas will have 72 hours to fulfill its end of the agreement and release all the hostages, both living and deceased.
Consequently, Hamas may finish releasing the hostages on Monday, rather than Sunday. Originally, the ceasefire was set to begin at 12:00 p.m. (Read more)

2. IDF welcomes deal with Hamas, orders troops to prepare for ‘any scenario’ - JNS
The Israel Defense Forces on Thursday morning welcomed the ceasefire deal between Israel and the Hamas terrorist group in Gaza.
During an overnight situational assessment, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir “instructed all forces, both on the front lines and in the rear areas, to prepare strong defenses and be ready for any scenario,” the military said after Hamas agreed to the first phase of the agreement.
IDF soldiers will be deployed “in accordance with the directives of the political echelon and the stages of the agreement, with responsibility and a focus on the safety of our soldiers,” it added. (Read more)

3. 'Comprehensive End of Gaza War’: Document outlining Israel-Hamas agreement revealed - Israel National News
The document detailing the implementation of President Donald Trump’s “Comprehensive End of Gaza War” proposal, as agreed upon by Israel and Hamas, was revealed on Thursday night just before the government approved the deal.
The plan outlines a series of coordinated steps aimed at ending hostilities in the Gaza Strip and securing the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas and other factions.
According to the document, the war will officially end upon approval by the Israeli government. All military operations - including aerial and artillery bombardments - will be suspended immediately. Aerial surveillance will also be halted for 72 hours over areas from which IDF forces have withdrawn. (Read more)

4. Israeli officials announce how hostage releases will be handled, say IDF to retain control over 53% of Gaza after deal is ratified - Times of Israel
Once the Israeli government officially ratifies the Gaza ceasefire agreement later this evening, the IDF will begin to pull back troops in the Strip, according to officials.
Within 24 hours, the IDF is expected to retreat to agreed-upon deployment lines, which will see the army remain in control of just over half of the Strip’s territory, or 53 percent — most of which is outside of urban areas.
After the retreat, the IDF will be in control of a buffer zone along the entire Gaza border, including the Philadelphi Corridor — the Egypt-Gaza border area — along with Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya in the Strip’s far north, a ridge on the eastern outskirts of Gaza City, and large portions of Rafah and Khan Younis in southern Gaza. 5. EU, UN Push for Gaza Deal to Lead to Two-State Solution as France Irks Israel With ‘Day After’ Meeting - Algemeiner
As world leaders hail Israel and Hamas’s agreement to a US-backed peace plan to end the war in Gaza, European leaders are pressing to make the ceasefire a steppingstone toward a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
On Thursday, French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed the newly signed deal, reaffirming France’s commitment to advancing peace, as Paris prepared to host a conference on Gaza’s postwar governance and reconstruction — a move Israeli leaders have denounced as the latest anti-Israel initiative for excluding them from the talks.
“Great hope for the hostages and their families, for the Palestinians in Gaza, and for the entire region,” Macron wrote in a post on X.
“This agreement must mark the end of the war and the beginning of a political solution based on the two-state solution,” the French leader said. (Read more)

1. Mediators seek Thursday deal to free living hostages, begin Gaza ceasefire — sources – Times of Israel
Trump says he plans to travel to region this weekend if agreement inked; Hamas tells interlocutors it’s committed to securing Barghouti’s release
Mediators are currently planning for an agreement to be signed on Thursday between Israel and Hamas that will see the immediate release of remaining living hostages in exchange for a Gaza ceasefire, an Arab diplomat and a second source briefed on the ongoing negotiations in Egypt told The Times of Israel on Wednesday.
Once the ceasefire is in place, Hamas will then be able to gather the bodies of the dead hostages for their subsequent return to Israel, the sources said.
There are currently 48 hostages remaining in Gaza, 20 of whom are believed to be alive.
The agreement the mediators are planning to finalize on Thursday will be on what stakeholders are referring to as the “first phase” of US President Donald Trump’s plan for ending the war, the sources said.
Top officials from Israel and Hamas along with counterparts from mediating countries — the US, Egypt, Qatar and Turkey — were in Sharm el-Sheikh on Wednesday in order to close remaining gaps in the negotiations after technical talks were held by lower-level teams on Monday and Tuesday. Read more

- Father God, we ask that You watch closely over this agreement and watch over President Trump if he travels to the Middle East for a signing ceremony. Protect him in every way necessary to keep him safe from all plans and plots of the enemies. Especially, Lord, our big concern is that this peace plan goes forward in all the ways You You have planned since the beginning of time. We pray that You would watch over the parties opposing Israel to see that they are held to their word in this agreement to release all hostages, living and deceased so that Israel has closure in this chapter of their history. We pray that they are being well treated now that their release is imminent and that You will watch over them to heal them of all their wounds, physical and emotional. Oh Lord, we all desire peace in this part of the world and speak Your Shalom over this agreement and this region.
- "And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land." (Leviticus 26:6)

2. How Vaccine Policies Have Changed Under RFK Jr. - The Epoch Times
Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and officials at the Department of Health and Human Services have changed recommendations and policy for multiple vaccines, including shots against COVID-19 and measles.
Here’s what has changed so far.
COVID-19 Vaccines
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now call for individuals to speak with a health care provider about risks and benefits before receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, a change approved on Oct. 6. Kennedy wrote on X that the move amounted to “restoring informed consent.”
The CDC in May, under orders from Kennedy, stopped recommending COVID-19 vaccines for healthy children and pregnant women. But the agency still had near-universal recommendations in place.
The Food and Drug Administration later revoked emergency authorizations for the vaccines. The agency also approved four shots for narrower populations—those under 65 who have an underlying condition and all people 65 years of age and older.
The CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) then told the CDC to update its recommendations to individual shared decision-making, which emphasizes that vaccinations are “individually based and informed by a decision process between the health care provider and the patient or parent/guardian,” Jim O'Neill, the CDC’s acting director and the deputy health secretary, approved the recommendation. |
- Precious Lord, we praise You that wiser heads have prevailed at this agency and that vaccines are being studied more closely about their side effects and even effectiveness. We pray that You will give these men and women Your wisdom as to what to recommend. We are grateful that some choices are being left up to the individual parent rather than using these vaccines as a way to control vast populations as in the recent past. We speak wisdom to the parents of young children and even adults as to which injections to take and what to leave behind.
- "Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth." (Jeremiah 33:6)

3. CDC Fumbled Safety Monitoring of Covid “Vaccines” — Critics Call Fixes “Too Little, Too Late” – The Discern Report
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) needs to up its game when it comes to monitoring vaccine safety and communicating that information to health professionals and the public, according to a new consensus report from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM).
NASEM also urged the CDC to better distinguish between the role of its Immunization Safety Office (ISO) in monitoring vaccine risks and the agency’s broader efforts to promote vaccination. The overlap “continues to raise public concerns about the objectivity of risk assessments,” NASEM said in a press release.
“CDC should protect ISO’s independence, keeping the office operationally and administratively insulated from units in CDC that carry out promotion or policymaking activities, such as promoting vaccination,” NASEM concluded.
Children’s Health Defense (CHD) Chief Scientific Officer Brian Hooker, who has been advocating for a more transparent and robust vaccine safety monitoring system for decades, told The Defender the report was “too little, too late,” and “doesn’t go nearly far enough.” Read more

|
- Dear Lord, it seems that there are numerous agencies that have overlapping tasks in insuring the safety and promotion of vaccines. We pray that You would give the heads of all these agencies wisdom as to how to manage these groups so that the public gets truthful information about the various treatments that agree with science and do not violate our rights. Father, we ask You to keep a watch over the bloat of government spending so that tasks are not duplicated or cancelling each other out. Also, Father, give us each individually wisdom in making our own healthcare decisions during this time of revelation of how our leaders have covered up important data. May this never happen again. May our leaders now seek the good of the people and not evil. In Your Name, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.
- "Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken." (Amos 5:14)

4. Senate Again Rejects Funding Bills as Shutdown Enters Second Week – The Epoch Times
It is the sixth vote that has failed in the Senate to restore government funding.
The Senate on Oct. 8 again failed to advance bills that would restore funding to the government and end the shutdown that has been in effect since Oct. 1.
The Senate rejected a House-passed bill to fund the government through Nov. 21 in a 54–45 vote. Like in previous votes, Sens. John Fetterman (D-Pa.), Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.), and Angus King (I-Maine), who caucuses with the Democrats, joined Republicans to vote for the bill. Sen Rand Paul (R-Ky.) was the lone Republican to vote against it. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) didn’t vote. Democrats have said they will oppose the GOP funding bill unless demands concerning health care are met. No signs have emerged of a deal to end the standoff.
“It’s costing our economy about $15 billion a week to continue to have the government shut down,” Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) said on Oct. 7. “This week, paychecks start being affected for federal workers, and that is going to have real consequences for them and their families.” Read more

- Father God,
As our government stays in shutdown, we see the spirit of division at work in all areas. Lord, this 'tug of war ' has to end!
We pray for all families that are affected by this shutdown as they continue to pay their bills on time. Senate Majority leader, John Thune, said on October the 7th that this shutdown is costing our economy about $15 Billion a week to continue. Father, we ask that our President and his administration continue to have wisdom on what is best for the American people. We should not have to pay for undocumented immigrants to have access to public healthcare under the Affordable Care Act when they are not legally allowed to. Your will, not ours, Lord, be done. In Jesus name. Amen.
- " When the righteous cry out for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles." (Psalm 34:17)

5. Worries grow over air traffic tumult as shutdown hits second week – The Epoch Times
Senators are growing increasingly concerned that the mounting flight delays and air traffic controller absences could balloon to the level experienced during the 2019 government shutdown, with some believing it could again be key to breaking the stalemate.
Air traffic control staffing issues caused significant delays Monday and Tuesday as the shutdown extended into a second week, with roughly 10,000 flights being affected. Those troubles weren’t as pronounced Wednesday, though more than 3,000 flights experienced delays, albeit some of those stemmed from weather in the Northeast.
But worry is starting to escalate for lawmakers, who remember the air travel tumult that ultimately forced President Trump to cave on his demand for border wall funding nearly seven years ago.
“It becomes a pressure point,” Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) said. “You talk about disruptive — if air travel shuts down and all the air traffic controllers are sick, you basically have shut down the economy.” “I hope we don’t get to that point,” he added. Read more

|
- Lord Jesus,
Your eyes are everywhere keeping a watch on what is good and what is evil. We ask for protection over our Department of Transportation air traffic controllers and the Transportation Security Administration personnel as they continue to work without pay in this government shutdown. Grant them endurance as they go through this. We pray that air traffic chaos does not reach the levels that America experienced in 2019. We come together in unity and cancel the plans of the enemy against our nation. Father, let the light of Your righteousness prevail in America! Our hope is in You! In Jesus name. Amen.
- "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)

6. Only 48% Of US Adults Under The Age Of 30 Have A Full-Time Job – ZeroHedge
I am so glad that I am not a young adult looking for a job in this very difficult economic environment. Every month, federal bureaucrats tell us that the unemployment rate in this country is low, but at this point everyone knows that the numbers that they give us are fake. The reality of the matter is that it is now “the toughest time in years” to find a good job in the United States, and that is particularly true for our young people.
According to Mark Mitchell, a Rasmussen Reports survey that will soon be released will show that only 48 percent of U.S. adults under the age of 30 currently have a full-time job… As the results of the last presidential election demonstrated, Rasmussen is typically very accurate. So this is an extremely alarming development. Vast numbers of our young adults are working low-paying part-time jobs right now because that is all they can get.

- Father God,
Once again, we come before your throne of grace and mercy over this alarming development concerning the job market in America. As companies slash high paying jobs and lay off workers, we turn to You for all our needs. We also know that everything we read may not be true, depending upon which political side is reporting the news. We pray for those who have lost jobs, for those who are looking for jobs and for those who are not working because of emotional problems. If they have been impacted by the wickedness of this world, we ask that each one be healed and comforted. Bring forth all truth that falls between the lies so that fear does not abound and keep people in bondage. We will have faith and not fear because Jehovah-Jireh, You, are our provider! In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
- "I will lift up my eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth, He will not suffer thy foot to be moved, he that keepeth thee will not slumber." (Psalm 121:1-3)

Government Shutdown: Dangerous Words Fuel Dangerous Times
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, October 9, 2025
The government shutdown once again exposed a deep divide in American politics—not just in policy, but in tone and intent. On one side, leading Democrats responded with fiery, personal attacks against President Trump. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) claimed Trump “wants to make sure that kids are dying,” while Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (NY) and House Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY) called him “erratic” and “unhinged.” Jeffries labeled Republicans “chaos agents. Senator Cory Booker (NJ) accused Republicans of wanting “to take your healthcare away.” These words aren’t policy debates, they’re emotional grenades meant to demonize political opponents and inflame public anger.
Meanwhile, the Republican explanation for the shutdown is markedly different in tone and substance. GOP leaders argue that Democrats are demanding more than a trillion dollars in restored federal spending for expansive liberal programs and insisting on taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal immigrants. These are items they say are unacceptable in a time of record debt and inflation. Their argument focuses on policy priorities and fiscal realities, not personal attacks. They contend the shutdown is the inevitable result of Democrats refusing to compromise on excessive spending and open-border policies that burden taxpayers and undermine national security. Read More

GOP Pushes Trump Nominees through Senate during Shutdown Lull
|
|
|
Despite the ongoing government shutdown and opposition from Democrats, Senate Republicans are working to deliver on President Donald Trump’s agenda and staff his second administration. On Tuesday evening, GOP senators confirmed 107 individuals Trump nominated to various positions. Senate Republicans used what has been nicknamed the “nuclear option,” allowing them to confirm sub-cabinet-level administration nominees with a simple majority vote along party lines, rather than the more controversial option of recess appointments, which would have allowed Trump to appoint agency officials, federal prosecutors, diplomats, and other senior administration personnel without Senate approval.
Democrats have been holding up Trump administration personnel confirmations for months; some nominees confirmed Tuesday were submitted to the Senate as early as January. Senate Republicans, therefore, opted for a rule change in the upper chamber of Congress, allowing them to confirm limitless swaths of nominees with only a simple majority. Tuesday’s spate of confirmations also means that the second Trump administration has broken the record of previous presidential administrations for the number of confirmed nominees by the same time in the president’s terms. For example, the first Trump administration had only 183 nominees confirmed by this time, and the Biden administration had 201. The Senate has confirmed 298 nominees for the second Trump administration.
GOP senators confirmed 24 ambassadors, 14 U.S. attorneys, and a host of Justice Department officials and agency and department heads. Some of the more noteworthy confirmations made include former Republican Senate candidate and football star Herschel Walker as U.S. ambassador to the Bahamas, White House Office of Personnel Director Sergio Gor as U.S. ambassador to India, U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) veteran Brandon Judd as U.S. ambassador to Chile, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) veteran Paul Atkins as chairman of the regulatory agency, former Pan Am Railways president and fifth-generation railroader David Fink as chief of the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), former Amazon road and transportation safety expert David Keeling as assistant secretary at the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and longtime Republican operative and consultant Wayne Palmer as assistant secretary at the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).
Last month, the Senate used the “nuclear option” to confirm a swath of nearly 50 Trump nominees, including former Fox News personality Kimberly Guilfoyle as U.S. ambassador to Greece and Callista Gingrich, former U.S. ambassador to the Holy See and the wife of former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, as U.S. ambassador to both Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Tuesday’s swath of confirmations means that 26 more Trump nominees await confirmation: 16 to the executive branch and 10 to the federal judiciary. (Washington Stand) Read more here.

|
- We are grateful, Father God, that 298 of Trump’s sub-cabinet nominees have been now been confirmed by the Senate and that the administration can move forward more efficiency, with most of the team in place. We lift up the remaining 26 nominees to you, asking that all of those You approve be confirmed quickly as well.
Lord God, please set Your hand of protection, guidance, empowerment, wisdom and truth upon each member of the “Trump Team”. May the confirmed officials operate in unity, as each does his or her part to achieve the goals set before them. We pray that all assignments and results be in one accord with Your agenda and Your timetable. Lord, we give You all of the praise and honor!
- "... but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love." (Eph. 4:15-16)

CIA Docs Confirm Biden Family’s Ukrainian Corruption Scheme
|
|
|
Conservatives have long claimed that former President Joe Biden used his political power and influence to benefit his family’s corrupt business dealings. Now, declassified Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) documents are confirming it. CIA Director John Ratcliffe published new documents on Tuesday, revealing that Biden, while serving as vice president, intervened to prevent the CIA from publishing a report on his son Hunter’s corrupt dealings with Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings.
In late 2015, Biden visited Ukraine to meet with then-President Petro Poroshenko. According to the new CIA report, Poroshenko and his administration “expressed bewilderment and disappointment at the 7-8 December 2015 visit of the Vice President of the United States to Kiev, Ukraine.” The report continued, “These officials highlighted that, prior to the visit, the Poroshenko administration and other (redacted) Ukrainian officials expected the U.S. Vice President to discuss personnel matters with Poroshenko during the visit, and had assumed that the U.S. Vice President would advocate in support of or against specific officials within the Ukrainian government.”
... In comments to The Washington Stand, Oversight Project President Mike Howell said, “This is exactly the type of evidence that proves what we’ve been saying all along.” He explained, “The weaponized government essentially operated as pulling out every last stop for anything no matter how frivolous if it related to Trump, and bending over backwards and upside down to ignore clear and convincing wrongdoing of political allies.” Howell added, “There needs to be accountability for this civil rights disaster.”
Government Accountability Institute President Peter Schweizer told TWS, “The newly declassified documents confirm a pattern we’ve seen for years: senior government officials, including Joe Biden, used their positions not to ensure accountability, but to shield politically connected family members from scrutiny. Transparency shouldn’t depend on who holds power.” He continued, “The House and Senate need to press for full disclosure of all intelligence and interagency communications related to Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings. The American people deserve to know whether national security was compromised for political convenience.” (The Washington Stand) Read more.

- Heavenly Father and Lord of All, You have been so faithful to reveal evil that has been hidden in the darkness within our government. We thank You that recently You have uncovered the ‘buried’ documents that provide proof of the Biden Family’s corrupt business dealings with Burisma in the Ukraine.
We thank You for preserving our nation in the face of ubiquitous criminal political dealings over the past years. May these revealing documents and testimonies remain in the Light until properly dealt with and not be ignored or buried again. May all of those involved in cover ups and criminal behavior be called to task and held accountable.
Father, we agree with GAI President Schweizer who said,
The House and Senate need to press for full disclosure of all intelligence and interagency communications related to Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings. The American people deserve to know whether national security was compromised for political convenience.
Lord, may truth be told and each of the involved federal agencies work in unity to find that truth and act upon it.

Democrat Candidate Jay Jones, Who Fantasized About Murdering GOP Leader, Cancels Event as Campaign Hits 'Crisis Mode'
|
|

Heading into the home stretch of Virginia’s campaign season, the Democrats’ scandal-plagued attorney general candidate is apparently turning camera shy.
Jay Jones, challenging incumbent Republican Attorney General Jason Miyares, has canceled a Thursday fundraiser that was to be hosted by best-selling novelist David Baldacci, according to the Beltway news outlet Axios.
“The scrubbed fundraiser is another indication that Jones’ campaign is in crisis mode,” the Axios report declared.
Jones, a former member of the Virginia House of Delegates, has been on the hot seat since the conservative website National Review broke a story Friday describing how Jones had engaged in text and phone conversations with a Republican lawmaker in 2022 in which he fantasized about shooting former Virginia Republican House Speaker Todd Gilbert to death.
Jones has apologized for making the remarks, according to Axios. He has not held a public event since Friday evening, the outlet reported. Questioned about the National Review report by WRIC-TV, the ABC affiliate in Richmond, Jones said, “The rhetoric has no place on our landscape.”
Since then, more disturbing stories have become public. Even worse, Jones is accused of suggesting in 2020 that the deaths of police officers in the line of duty might be a good thing.“Well, maybe if a few of them died, that they would move on, not shooting people, not killing people,” Jones is alleged to have said.
Outside the party’s power circles, Jones’ reported remarks have roiled the attorney general’s race, and created ripple effects elsewhere. Winsome Earle-Sears, the surging Republican gubernatorial candidate, has used them to criticize Democratic opponent Abigail Spanberger. On Tuesday, according to Fox News, she released a scathing ad criticizing Spanberger’s failure to condemn Jones.
Even liberal MSNBC pundits are calling for Jones to step out of the race.
Jones has publicly shown no sign of getting out of the race so far, but the cancellation of the fundraiser Thursday night is not a good sign for his campaign. (The Western Journal)

- Father God, normally we do not pray for or against any political candidate, but in this case we will make an exception. Jay Jones must step down. His dangerous, hate-filled rhetoric has no place in the public square, and cannot be tolerated. We pray that he will stand down, leaving this race to anther Democratic candidate of Your choosing. In Your Name, Holy One, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

San Andreas, Cascadia faults could combine to set off huge double earthquake, new study finds
|
|
West Coast’s two most notorious faults have potential to spark back-to-back calamity, scientists say.
It’s like a plot from a Hollywood movie. A massive earthquake on one West Coast fault triggers other earthquakes far away, causing vast destruction over hundreds of miles.
A new study out Tuesday reveals the scenario might not be as far-fetched as previously thought.
Scientists from Oregon State University studying sediment layers in the Pacific Ocean have discovered that two of the most notorious faults on the West Coast — the San Andreas Fault in Northern California and the Cascadia Subduction Zone off Oregon and Washington — may be synchronized, with earthquakes on one fault having the potential to set off the other.
The study, published in the journal Geosphere, concluded that there are at least three instances in the past 1,500 years, including a most recent one from 1700, when the researchers believe huge ruptures occurred on each fault just minutes to hours apart. It appears that a large quake on the Cascadia Subduction Zone triggered the San Andreas Fault in these cases, the scientists said, causing another large quake in Northern California.
“We’re used to hearing the ‘Big One’ — Cascadia — being this catastrophic huge thing,” said Chris Goldfinger, a marine geologist at Oregon State University and lead author of the study. “It turns out it’s not the worst case scenario.”
Major quakes on either of the two faults are rare. But each has the potential to kill thousands of people and cause billions of dollars of damage, previous studies have shown.
The potential linkage between both faults means disaster planners should take into account the possibility of back-to-back quakes, the researchers said Tuesday.
“We could expect that an earthquake on one of the faults alone would draw down the resources of the whole country to respond to it,” Goldfinger said. “And if they both went off together, then you’ve got potentially San Francisco, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver all in an emergency situation in a compressed timeframe.” (The Mercury News) Read More
