Miracles Unfolding After Child Shot in Head During Church Massacre

A little girl who was shot in the head on August 27 when a transgender gunman attacked Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is experiencing a miraculous recovery. Sophia Forchas, 12, survived the ordeal that left two other kids dead and more than 20 injured. According to CNN, a bullet that struck her brain — yet signs of hope have emerged. In fact, her family said in a September 22 statement released by Hennepin Healthcare that her very survival is a 'miracle.' “Sophia is winning!” the statement opened. “Your Prayers are working.”
The family expressed gratitude for the people who supported their daughter, noting that appeals to God on the child’s behalf are working. “Your prayers have been powerful,” the text continued. “Sophia surviving this horrific attack is a miracle. Her healing progress is nothing short of miraculous; an undeniable testament to the mercy and intervention of our Lord Jesus Christ.” As the family discovers new details about what unfolded, they said these “revelations” have given insight into how she survived the unthinkable. “There are simply too many to be dismissed as coincidence,” the statement read. “God has heard our prayers and wrapped Sophia in His healing embrace.” (Faithwire) Read More Here

On Tuesday, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a pivotal case examining whether Colorado’s 2020 ban on so-called “conversion therapy” infringes on First Amendment rights.
The practice — designed to provide minors grappling with same-sex attraction or gender dysphoria access to guidance and counseling — was outlawed under Colorado’s Prohibit Conversion Therapy for a Minor law. This legislation declares that any effort to “change an individual’s sexual orientation, including efforts to change behaviors or gender expressions, or to eliminate or reduce sexual or romantic attraction or feelings toward individuals of the same sex” is inherently harmful and ineffective. Violators, including licensed therapists, risk losing their professional credentials and facing penalties of up to $5,000 in fines.

- Abba, this article is kind of confusing. One would think that the best outcome would be to have the ban remain in place, to protect our children, but is it? Your heart has always been for freedom, putting boundaries around what a counselor can or can't say isn't freedom for either the counselor or their patient. This is a topic that the enemy's deception has created and continues to stoke the fires of self identity through it.. Jesus, we ask You to give the Supreme Court Justices supernatural wisdom and understanding of what Your heart longs for in these cases, allow Your love to guide and direct all decisions made.
Holy Spirit, pour out discernment into the hearts of all who are being emotionally ravaged because of gender confusion, speak truth so deeply that each heart will know Your voice and feel Your love. Jesus, make Your presence "known" to all who don't know You, to all who need a savior emotionally, physically, spiritually, just like all those who would follow You when You were here on earth to be healed and made whole. Texas National Guard troops arrived in Illinois on Tuesday to protect federal personnel and property amid anti-immigration protests, the Pentagon confirmed.
A Pentagon official said 200 guardsmen were mobilized for an initial 60-day period.
Troops arrived in Illinois "in support of the Federal Protection Mission to protect federal functions, personnel, and property," according to a Pentagon statement.
Fox News cameras captured footage Tuesday afternoon outside the Army Reserve Training Center in Elwood, just south of Joliet, showing several National Guard troops on site.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott posted to X, noting service members are "on the ground and ready to go."

- Abba, at times, it feels like the world has turned upside down. President Trump is deploying the National Guard in Chicago because of the attacks on our ICE headquarters around Chicago. At the same time the Mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson, is decrying this move as illegal even though the troops are there because of previous attacks by activists, and Gov. Pritzker is suing President Trump for sending in the Guard. He says it's illegal.
Father God, we ask You to speak to the hearts of leadership on both sides of this very contentious issue, give them wisdom and understanding of how You want this handled, how You want this solved. Holy Spirit, pour out calm into all those involved in this situation, let Your peace soak into their minds and hearts that this can be resolved without violence. Jesus, we ask You to protect all police, ICE agents, and National Guard. We ask that every person participating in any type of violence be arrested and charged to the fullest extent of the law, let them be held accountable for their actions. We ask this in the name El Shaddai, God Almighty, the God who has ultimate power over all things.

EXCLUSIVE: Federal and local law enforcement officers arrested 14 suspected leaders of the Rancho San Pedro gang Tuesday in Los Angeles, capping a yearslong investigation into what the FBI called one of the most violent street crews in Southern California and a known arm of the Mexican Mafia.
FBI Director Kash Patel told Fox News Digital the bust marks a turning point in the fight against cartel-linked gangs.
"The era of cartels operating freely in America is over," Patel said. "Every day, the FBI and our partners are dismantling violent networks at the source, stripping their resources, taking criminals off the streets and saving American lives."
The case began in Los Angeles and targeted the gang’s leadership, seizing weapons, narcotics and records from homes and meeting spots.
Investigators said the probe uncovered links between Rancho San Pedro, the Sinaloa Cartel and the 13th Street gang — groups allegedly working together to distribute methamphetamine, fentanyl and heroin throughout Southern California.
"This action will cause a significant setback to Rancho San Pedro and their Mexican Mafia overlords and lead to safer streets for San Pedro residents," said FBI Los Angeles Assistant Director Akil Davis.
Davis said the arrests dismantled "the command structure" of the gang.
LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell praised Harbor Division detectives for building the case "step by step."
The federal complaint charges 13 defendants under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and a 14th as a felon in possession. Prosecutors say the crew trafficked meth, fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and PCP while stockpiling guns to enforce orders. (Fox News) Read more here.

The Saudi channel Al-Hadath reported later that Hamas and Israel will sign a ceasefire agreement on Thursday at 12:00 noon.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote: "With God's help we will bring them all home".

Negotiators in Egypt reached a deal to free the remaining hostages in Gaza and eventually end the Israel-Hamas War, US President Donald Trump announced early Thursday morning.
"I am very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first Phase of our Peace Plan," Trump wrote.
"This means that ALL of the Hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps toward a Strong, Durable, and Everlasting Peace." (Read more)

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum Headquarters welcomed the reports of an agreement to bring back all 48 hostages and one female hostage, saying they received the news “with excitement, anticipation, and concern.”
In their statement, the families said: “We welcome the signing of the agreement aimed at bringing all the hostages home - the living for rehabilitation among their families, and the fallen for proper burial in their homeland. This is an important and significant step toward the return of them all, but our struggle is not yet over and will not end until the last hostage returns.”
The statement called on the government “to convene and approve the agreement immediately,” warning that “any delay could exact a heavy price from the hostages and the soldiers.” The families added, “We are confident that the Prime Minister will ensure an absolute majority for the implementation of the agreement reached.” (Read more)

4. IDF intercepts another Gaza-bound flotilla - Israel Hayom
Members of the "Freedom Flotilla," a pro-Palestinian convoy aiming to reach Gaza by sea, announced Wednesday morning that Israeli forces had taken control of their vessels.
The Foreign Ministry confirmed that Israeli forces seized the boats and redirected them to an Israeli port. "Another futile attempt to breach the legal naval blockade and enter an active combat zone ended in failure," the ministry posted on X. "The boats and passengers were transferred to an Israeli port. All passengers are safe and well. They are expected to be deported immediately."
Within 40 minutes, the IDF had taken control of all nine vessels—one a 68-meter (223-foot) ship, and the other eight smaller boats. The Israeli Navy had warned the flotilla to change course, but its participants refused. (Read more)

5. Facing drought, Israel to direct desalinated water to Sea of Galilee, in world first

With severe drought continuing to grip much of the Middle East and North Africa, Israel is also planning for another dry winter and a world first: channeling desalinated water into the northern Sea of Galilee, whose surface has dropped below the minimum level at which pumping is recommended.
The so-called lower red line is at -213 meters (-699 feet) below sea level. Pumping beyond this risks damaging the ecosystem. On Wednesday, the lake’s level was measured at -213.125 meters.
Firas Talhami, who is in charge of the rehabilitation of water sources in northern Israel for the Water Authority, told The Times of Israel that pumping of small amounts (several million cubic meters) of desalinated water into the lake is planned to start in November, in the first such operation of its kind in the world. 2. Texas National Guard arrives in Illinois, as Gov. Pritzker calls for end of Trump administration's 'authoritarian march' - ABC News
Members of the Texas National Guard have arrived in Illinois, according to sources familiar with their whereabouts and video taken of them at an Army Reserve training facility in a Chicago suburb.
The Texas National Guard boarded a military plane on Monday afternoon in Texas, as state and city leaders in Illinois were holding a news conference asking them to stay away from Chicago.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Monday shared a photo on social media showing what he called the state's "elite" National Guard boarding a plane, but he did not say where they were headed.
"Illinois will not let the Trump administration continue on their authoritarian march without resisting," Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker said. "We will use every lever at our disposal to stop this power grab because military troops should not be used against American communities." (Read more)

In a statement marking the two-year anniversary of the Hamas-led October 7, 2023, attack on Israel, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says Washington “reaffirms its unwavering support for Israel’s right to exist, to defend itself, and to ensure the safety of its people.”
“As the United States marks this tragic anniversary and honors the victims, we renew our resolve to prevent such evil from ever taking place again,” Rubio says.
The top US diplomat highlights the two US citizens — Omer Neutra and Itay Chen — who are among the 48 hostages still being held in Gaza and touts US President Donald Trump’s plan to end the war in Gaza and advance “generational” peace in the region.

WASHINGTON, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Millions of U.S. retirees and other Social Security recipients will have to wait for a while to learn how big their checks will be in 2026 as the ongoing partial government shutdown is set to delay the release of September's consumer inflation data.
The Social Security Administration would have used the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers data from the third quarter of 2024 to the third quarter of 2025 to determine the annual cost-of-living adjustment for Social Security and Supplemental Security Income benefits for next year.
The programs benefit older Americans who have retired from their jobs as well as the disabled and certain widows, widowers and children. The COLA announcement - a widely anticipated event each October among the households relying on those payments - is typically made shortly after the Bureau of Labor Statistics releases September's CPI report.
But the shutdown, triggered by a lapse in government funding amid a political standoff between Republicans and Democrats in Washington, has halted the collection and publication of key economic data, including the closely watched employment report for September that was scheduled for release last Friday. A huge asteroid came within 300 miles of hitting Earth, and scientists only noticed after it had already skimmed past the planet. The 9.8-foot (three metre) space rock, dubbed 2025 TF, flew over Antarctica in the early hours of October 1. Passing at an altitude of just 265 miles (428 kilometres), the rock came closer to the Earth's surface than the orbit of the International Space Station.
However, space agencies only realised the near-miss had occurred when the asteroid was detected by the Catalina Sky Survey a few hours later.
While a miss this close might sound alarming, the European Space Agency (ESA) claims there was never any serious danger. Based on its estimated size, 2025 TF would have most likely burned up or exploded in the atmosphere rather than slamming into the surface.
ESA said in a statement: 'Objects of this size pose no significant danger. 'They can produce fireballs if they strike Earth’s atmosphere, and may result in the discovery of small meteorites on the ground.' (Read more)

Stupidocrisy: The Coup That Never Ended

For years, we were labeled conspiracy theorists and deniers for reporting that the Russia hoax, the fabricated FISA warrants, and the weaponization of the FBI against a duly elected president were all part of a coordinated effort to overthrow Donald Trump before he even set foot in the Oval Office. Back in October 2016, The Daily Jot documented how Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and top intelligence officials conspired to use fake opposition research as intelligence, fraudulent dossiers, and a complicit media to justify spying on the Trump campaign and undermining his presidency. It was an orchestrated coup cloaked in the language of “national security,” and James Comey was right in the middle of it.
The tangled web ran deep. Attorney General Loretta Lynch met with Bill Clinton in secret just days before Comey declared that “no reasonable prosecutor” would pursue charges against Hillary for mishandling classified information. Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe’s wife received hundreds of thousands in campaign funds from a Clinton ally while he oversaw the Clinton email probe. The same Clinton campaign paid Perkins Coie, which hired Fusion GPS to fabricate the Steele dossier—fiction that the FBI presented as evidence to the FISA court to spy on Trump’s team. The DNC even blocked the FBI from examining its hacked servers, relying instead on a report from CrowdStrike—funded by Google and hired by Perkins Coie. Trump admin announces fewest border apprehensions since 1970

The Trump administration has announced it closed out fiscal year 2025 with the lowest U.S. Border Patrol apprehensions since 1970.
The preliminary enforcement figures, announced by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), reveal 237,565 apprehensions in fiscal year 2025 compared to 201,780 in fiscal year 1970.
The historically low figures come despite 72% of the total occurring during the last 111 days of the Biden administration. Fiscal year 2025 ran from Oct. 1, 2024, through Sept. 30, 2025.
The numbers are also 87% below the average of the last four fiscal years, which was 1.86 million, with DHS touting the feat as a testament to the Trump administration’s success in restoring control at the border "despite the handicap of more than three months of Biden’s open-border chaos at the start of the fiscal year."
"Fiscal year 2025 shows what happens when we enforce the law without compromise," said CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott. "For too long, agents and officers were handcuffed by failed policies. Today they are empowered to do their jobs – and the result is the lowest apprehensions in more than five decades, and the most secure border in modern history."
September also marked the fifth consecutive month with zero illegal immigrant releases by the Border Patrol along the southwest border, compared to 9,144 releases in September 2024. (Fox News) Read more here.

We thank You for all the border changes that he made when he first took office, and for the amazingly lower number of people coming to our southern border looking for asylum in our country. We ask You to continue discouraging people from even coming to our borders, any of our borders. Give them wisdom to know that our nation is taking care of itself right now, not the world. We ask You to continue giving ICE agents the guidance they need to find those they are looking for without any violence and sending them back to their own countries.
Father God, we ask for Your protection over our nation right now, pour out wisdom, knowledge and supernatural insights as President Trump works to bring an end to the Gaza Israeli war, send warrior angels with him at all times, let him know they are there. Keep Your intercessors alert and aware of all that is going on both spiritually and "in the earth", help us to have our senses trained to receive from You at all times. We ask this in the name Yahweh Sabaoth, The Lord of Hosts, the God who has countless numbers of men and angels waiting for His direction.

AccuWeather meteorologists warn the tropical wind and rainstorm could evolve into a named tropical storm, but it may be more akin to the powerful nor'easters that ramp up along the coastline during the winter months, without the snow.
"This will be a damaging storm for some along the Atlantic coast," AccuWeather Chief On-Air Meteorologist Bernie Rayno said.
"The storm will form just off the Georgia coast late this week and move northward this weekend to next week," Rayno added. "As the storm drifts to the north, it will grow stronger each day."
An extended period of stormy conditions is in store with stiffening winds that will raise seas, erosive surf and coastal flooding, as well as bring much-needed rain to some areas.
The AccuWeather RealImpact™ Scale for this storm is one. In this case, the storm will be the equivalent of a hurricane.
"There is a high risk this storm will be designated a subtropical (hybrid) storm, which is why we have designated this system as a tropical wind and rainstorm, and have issued an eye path map to raise early awareness ahead of potential National Hurricane Center (NHC) classification," AccuWeather Lead Hurricane Expert Alex DaSilva said.
"A fully tropical storm gets its energy solely from the ocean, a subtropical or hybrid storm gets its energy from both the ocean and the jet stream or stalled front--We think this will be a hybrid storm as a result," DaSilva said.
Should the storm's intensity escalate and this storm is officially named by the NHC, it would be designated as Karen—the next name on the 2025 Atlantic list.

Flights Around U.S. Delayed by Hours as Air Traffic Controllers Go Without Pay in Government Shutdown

Monday evening flights into multiple major cities were delayed as the government shutdown continued, just hours after the Department of Transportation (DOT) warned that the funding halt has led to stressed-out air traffic controllers calling out sick as they wait to get paid again.
“This shutdown has put way more stress on our controllers,” Transportation Sec. Sean Duffy said during a press conference at New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport.
“When they come to work, I want them to think about the departures and arrivals of airplanes. I want to make sure they keep Americans safe and airplanes safe,” he continued, explaining that he has heard air traffic controllers say they are concerned with affording basic necessities and are even considering picking up side-gigs like driving for Uber. “But the consistent message from these controllers was they’re not just thinking about the airspace and the jobs they have to do.”
Duffy noted that the DOT has seen an uptick in sick days being taken by air traffic controllers, a pattern that was also observed during the 2019 government shutdown, as they are not being paid to go to work.
“If we think there’s issues in the airspace, we will shut it down, we will close it down, we will delay,” he stated.
While the air traffic controllers will receive their pay retroactively when the government reopens, the timing of that is up to Congress — where Senate Democrats blocked the Republicans’ clean continuing resolution (CR) last week when they did not get to add everything they wanted to it.
After Duffy’s press conference, flights going to the New York, Denver, and Los Angeles areas were delayed due to the air traffic controller shortage, the New York Times reported.

Planet Y? Astronomers find fresh clues of hidden world in our solar system

(CNN) — The search for an unknown planet in our solar system has inspired astronomers for more than a century. Now, a recent study suggests a potential new candidate, which the paper’s authors have dubbed Planet Y.
The planet has not been detected but merely inferred by the tilted orbits of some distant objects in the Kuiper Belt — a large ring of icy bodies beyond Neptune’s orbit. Something, the researchers said, must be disturbing these orbits and tilting them.
“One explanation is the presence of an unseen planet, probably smaller than the Earth and probably bigger than Mercury, orbiting in the deep outer solar system,” said lead author Amir Siraj, an astrophysicist and a doctoral candidate in the department of astrophysical sciences at Princeton University. “This paper is not a discovery of a planet, but it’s certainly the discovery of a puzzle for which a planet is a likely solution.” Siraj and his coauthors reported their findings in the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society: Letters.
Planet Y is the latest in a series of hypothetical solar system planets that scientists have proposed in recent years, all with slightly different characteristics but collectively believed to be lurking in the Kuiper Belt — also home to Pluto, the former ninth planet that was demoted and reclassified as a dwarf planet in 2006.
The reason so many “ninth planet” candidates have emerged is that the Kuiper Belt is a dark, faraway region of the solar system and observations are difficult and incomplete. But such obstacles are likely to change, as a new telescope called the Vera C. Rubin Observatory is gearing up to start its 10-year survey of the night sky.
“I think within the first two to three years, it’ll become definitive,” Siraj said. “If Planet Y is in the field of view of the telescope, it will be able to find it directly.” Read More
