Christian Photographer Scores Major Victory in LGBTQ Battle
|

A Christian photographer recently scored a major victory for religious liberty when the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky ruled Louisville officials had violated her First Amendment rights. Chelsey Nelson, the photographer in question, challenged a law she said would mandate that she violate her conscience on traditional marriage. While she didn’t face any direct punishment or threat, she took preemptive action against the ordinance in an attempt to prevent future issues. “Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys representing Chelsey Nelson and her photography studio filed the lawsuit Chelsey Nelson Photography v. Louisville-Jefferson County Metro Government in 2019 because Louisville’s law prohibited Nelson from expressing her views on marriage on her studio’s website and threatened to compel her to create photographs and blogs celebrating a message about marriage she does not believe,” a press release explained.
Nelson told CBN News she was a young mom trying to figure out business and raise her family when she found herself feeling compelled to speak up. “I’m a Christian, so that impacts every aspect of my life, not just on Sunday morning, when I’m at church — absolutely everything,” she said. “And I was very aware at the time of even people like Jack Phillips in the news under fire for just trying to quietly operate their business in a way that was consistent with their Christian convictions.” Nelson said she wanted to operate her business in alignment with the Lord while also growing in a way that comported with rules and regulations. “I became aware of this ordinance in Louisville and was really concerned that I might be under … $10,000 fines at any moment for being reported if I were just simply open about what messages I’m willing to celebrate … marriage between a man and a woman for a lifetime only and nothing outside of that,” she said. Trump admin makes Supreme Court plea for National Guard in Chicago after judge denies 'rebellion' concern
|

The Trump administration has urged the U.S. Supreme Court to allow the deployment of the National Guard in Chicago to protect federal personnel and federal property amid protests over immigration enforcement in the area.
Solicitor General D. John Sauer, Trump’s top Supreme Court lawyer, urged the justices to step in immediately after a judge ruled last week that National Guard troops sent to Illinois by President Donald Trump to combat crime can remain in the state but can’t patrol or deploy to protect federal property. A federal appeals court had refused to put the judge’s order on hold.

Lord, we ask that You stop the attacks on Federal law enforcement and Federal facilities which would deny the need for the National Guard. We bind the rhetoric of both Gov. Pritzker and Mayor Johnson and pray that their Trump hate and that of protesters will be removed. We speak peace over this deployment, and favor for the President to be able to fix the problem.

New York City organizers embedded in the global intifada to destroy the state of Israel moved Friday to join the controversial "No Kings" protests planned for today, despite the peace deal reached between Israel and Hamas.
"UAW Labor for Palestine" and "NYC Labor for Palestine" quietly posted a call-to-action for the "Palestine Labor Solidarity Contingent" to meet Saturday at 11 a.m. at Duarte Square at the corner of Grand Street and Canal Street in midtown Manhattan and then flow into the #NoKings protests planned to protest President Donald Trump.
They’re not alone. Around the country, anti-Israel blocs are slotting themselves into the "No Kings" protests as a "Palestine Contingent" and "Socialist Contingent," positioning their messages "front and center," as Seattle activists put it, "from Providence to Palestine."

President Donald Trump said Friday that "tremendous bad blood" between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin is delaying a peace deal in Ukraine despite the administration's recent victory with calming tensions in Gaza.
"They have tremendous bad blood. It's really is what is holding up I think a settlement. I think we are going to get it done and we have to make it long-lasting, as I said in the Middle East, everlasting," Trump said Friday as he hosted Zelenskyy at the White House.
"The Middle East is a much more complicated situation. You know, we had 59 countries involved, and every one of them agreed. And it's, you know, it's sort of amazing. Most people didn't think that was doable. This is going to be something I really believe that's going to get done. I had a very good talk yesterday with President Putin. I think he wants to get it done," Trump added.

Hamas defends public executions, threatens fragile peace deal by refusing to lay down arms
|
|
Hamas defended the gruesome public executions it carried out against Palestinians earlier this week as the terrorist group says it has no plans to lay down its arms — throwing a massive wrench into the already tense peace negotiations with Israel.
Hamas politburo member Mohammed Nazzal told Reuters that “exceptional measures” had to be taken when it carried out public killings in Gaza on Monday, which drew widespread criticism for their extreme violence. He claimed that those executed were criminals guilty of murder.
Nazzal also refused to commit to Hamas disarming itself, which Israel has demanded as part of a peace deal. Hamas’ arms could prove to be a major obstacle as both sides, with the help of the US, work to create lasting peace days after the first phase of the cease-fire was agreed on.
In response to Nazzal’s comments, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office slammed Hamas for failing to live up to its end of the deal as Israel remains committed to fulfilling the terms. (New York Post) Read more here.

1. Hamas violates ceasefire: PM orders strong response to attack on troops in Rafah - Israel National News
Ceasefire violated: Reports from the Gaza Strip on Sunday state that Hamas terrorists launched anti-tank weapons at IDF forces in Rafah and that heavy exchanges of fire are commencing.
At the same time, there are reports of IAF airstrikes in both northern and southern Gaza.
The IDF has yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
The IDF confirmed that terrorists fired an anti-tank missile and gunfire toward IDF troops operating to dismantle terrorist infrastructure in the Rafah area, in southern Gaza, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement. (Read more)

2. Israeli airstrikes in Rafah following ceasefire violation by Hamas - Israel Hayom
The IDF confirmed that earlier Sunday, terrorists fired anti-tank missiles and opened fire at forces operating in the Rafah area. In response, the Israeli Air Force launched airstrikes and artillery fire in the area to neutralize the threat, destroying several operational tunnels and military structures identified as harboring terrorist activity. The military called the incident a "blatant violation" of the ceasefire deal and vowed to respond forcefully.
A senior Israeli official told Israel Hayom: "We're not bombing sand dunes, we're responding with overwhelming force to what happened in Rafah. We knew they would violate the deal and had prepared in advance with a target bank. They're getting hit hard and will continue to be hit hard."
The IDF Arabic-language spokesperson issued an urgent warning to residents of the Gaza Strip: "Following repeated violations of the ceasefire deal and the criminal attack carried out this morning by Hamas terrorists, the IDF will respond with great force against terrorist infrastructure and Hamas operatives." 3. Egypt said expected to lead UN-backed Gaza stabilization force; Azerbaijan to contribute - Times of Israel
A multinational team meant to help secure the Gaza Strip following the end of Israel’s war with Hamas will likely be headed up by Egypt, according to a report Saturday, which came as the US continued its efforts to shore up support for the mission.
The International Stabilization Force (ISF) is part of US President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan for Gaza, and is intended to secure the Strip during a transitional postwar period, following Israel’s withdrawal and the disarmament of the Hamas terror group.
According to a report published by The Guardian on Saturday, the US and European powers are preparing a UN Security Council motion that would allow the stabilization force to act under a UN mandate without being considered a UN peacekeeping force — as Trump’s plan for the ISF does not envision it being a UN-led operation. 4. Team enters Gaza to search for hostages’ bodies, as Israel vows to ramp up pressure - Times of Israel
Israel said Thursday it would increase pressure on Hamas to return the remaining 19 bodies of deceased hostages, with a task force reportedly already having entered Gaza for that purpose.
After the Palestinian terror group insisted that the bodies it has returned so far are the only ones it can currently locate, a senior official told Israel’s Channel 12 that “there is a double-digit number of hostages that it can return.”
Meanwhile, an unconfirmed report on Channel 13 said that an international team set up to locate remaining bodies had entered the Strip within the previous 24 hours, and was set to begin its work soon, based on intelligence provided by Israel. (Read more)

5. Additional hostage body found in Gaza, Hamas claims - World Israel News
Hamas terrorists operating in the Gaza Strip have located the remains of an additional Israeli hostage, the group announced Sunday, after fighting broke out in the coastal enclave, threatening the fragile truce in Gaza.
Following the attacks, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas terror organization, issued a statement denying knowledge or involvement, claiming its central command had lost contact with individual cells in Rafah.
Shortly afterward, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced that Hamas forces have located the remains of an additional slain Israeli hostage.
The group added that it was prepared to retrieve the body and transfer it to Israel – as is required under the ceasefire deal – but warned that an “escalation” in Gaza could prevent Hamas from recovering the body. (Read more)

1. Jack Smith Referred to DOJ For Criminal Investigation and Disbarment – The Gateway Pundit
Former Special Counsel Jack Smith has been criminally referred to the Justice Department for a misconduct investigation and possible disbarment.
After publicly stating she was going to take action, Senator Marsha Blackburn on Friday sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi criminally referring Jack Smith to the DOJ for prosecution and disbarment.
Blackburn demanded that the DOJ take action after it was revealed that Jack Smith spied on several GOP Senators.
Joe Biden’s FBI – and later Jack Smith – spied on eight Republican Senators during the ‘Arctic Frost’ investigation into January 6.
Republican Senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson earlier this year released new records detailing the FBI and DOJ’s sweeping investigation that formed the basis of Jack Smith’s DC case against President Trump.
Grassley and Johnson previously blew the lid off another sham investigation orchestrated by Biden’s corrupt Department of Justice and compromised FBI. (Read more)

2. ‘Huge Win’: Trump Admin Delivers Blow To UN Climate Agenda, Derails ‘Ideological’ Global Carbon Tax – Daily Wire
A global tax on shipping emissions won’t take effect after pressure from the Trump administration to abandon the climate activist-fueled proposal.
The International Maritime Organization had been set to vote on Friday on adopting a global carbon tax aimed at pushing the shipping industry to stop using fossil fuels. But that vote did not happen after President Donald Trump on Thursday called for other countries to oppose the tax, saying that the United States would not “tolerate” or “adhere” to the measure.
Instead, the International Maritime Organization, an agency of the United Nations that regulates shipping, moved Friday to postpone the vote on the tax for a year.
“Now you have one year, you will continue to work on several aspects of these amendments,” said Arsenio Dominguez, the secretary general of the International Maritime Organization. “You have one year to negotiate and talk and come to consensus.”
The decision was praised by Trump administration officials who spent the week fighting the proposal. (Read more)

3. Indonesia denies Team Israel travel visas, prompting criticism by International Olympic Committee - Fox
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) condemned a recent sanction by the government of Indonesia against Israel's national gymnastics team.
The Indonesian government denied the Israelis visas to enter the country for the upcoming 53rd FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Jakarta, which begins Sunday.
"The IOC’s principled position is very clear: All eligible athletes, teams and sports officials must be able to participate in international sports competitions and events without any form of discrimination from the host country, in accordance with the Olympic Charter and the fundamental principles of nondiscrimination, autonomy and political neutrality that govern the Olympic Movement," the IOC's statement said.
"It is therefore the direct responsibility of the host country, the organizer and the sports organizations directly concerned to make sure that this principle is fully respected and that all necessary assurances are provided by the relevant authorities of the host country in advance."
The IOC also claimed its officials will discuss the situation with Indonesia at its next meeting.
"Sport must remain a safe space for athletes to fulfill their dreams; and athletes must not be held responsible for political decisions," the statement added. (Read more)

4. Kremlin proposes 70-mile ‘Putin-Trump unity tunnel’ linking the US and Russia – built by Elon Musk - The Independent
A Kremlin envoy has proposed a “Putin-Trump” rail tunnel between eastern Russia and the US state of Alaska to “symbolise unity”, even suggesting that it could be built by billionaire Elon Musk.
Kirill Dmitriev, Moscow’s special envoy on international economic and investment cooperation and a key negotiator in Ukraine peace talks, suggested the project could be completed within eight years by Musk’s Boring Company, at a cost of $8bn (£6bn). This could be funded by Moscow and “international partners”, he added.
He envisaged the 70-mile rail and cargo link beneath the Bering Strait could unlock joint exploration of natural resources.
“Elon Musk, imagine connecting the US and Russia, the Americas and Afro-Eurasia, with the Putin-Trump Tunnel - a 70-mile link symbolising unity,” he wrote in a series of posts on X on Thursday.

5. Prince Andrew gives up royal title with King Charles' support - Fox
Prince Andrew has relinquished his royal title.
"In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family," a statement released by the royal, and obtained by Fox News Digital, read. "I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life."
"With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further," the statement continued. "I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me." (Read more)

6. Anglican Church Splits over LGBT-Friendly Woman Archbishop of Canterbury- Breitbart
The head of the Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON), a coalition of Anglican leaders opposing the liberalization of the Anglican Church spearheaded by leadership in England, announced on Thursday they would split from Canterbury, declaring itself the true leadership of the Church.
Most Revd Dr Laurent Mbanda, the chairman of the GAFCON Primates’ Council and the Primate of the Anglican Church of Rwanda, published a letter declaring that the true Anglican Church was now under GAFCON, and not under the Archbishop of Canterbury, as it had been for centuries. The letter is a response to the appointment as archbishop of Canterbury of Dame Sarah Mullally, the first woman to hold the post, in early October.
In addition to breaking with tradition by appointing a woman, the leadership of the Anglican Communion chose a leader that outraged many Anglican clergy around the world, particularly in Anglican strongholds in Africa, for her support for gay marriage and other positions described as “liberal.” (Read more)

Breaking: Evidence Discovered of Potential Trump Assassination Plot, Hunting Stand Aimed Toward Air Force One

Secret Service agents found a suspiciously-placed hunting stand Sunday that is now under investigation by the FBI.
The stand’s line of sight pointed directly to President Donald Trump’s Air Force One area at Palm Beach airport.
Agents had been scoping out the area around the airport just prior to President Trump’s arrival at West Palm Beach, Florida. Trump’s Florida residence Mar-a-Lago is located relatively close-by in Palm Beach
“Prior to the President’s return to West Palm Beach, USSS discovered what appeared to be an elevated hunting stand within sight line of the Air Force One landing zone,” FBI Director Kash Patel told Fox News Digital.
“No individuals were located at the scene. The FBI has since taken the investigatory lead, flying in resources to collect all evidence from the scene, and deploying our cell phone analytics capabilities.”
As of yet, law enforcement authorities are saying that no individual has been found associated with the stand. (The Western Journal) Read more here.

A giant weak spot in Earth's magnetic field is getting bigger — and it could be bad news for satellites
|

Satellite data reveal that a weak region in Earth's magnetic field has grown by an area roughly half the size of continental Europe in the last 10 years.

That's according to data collected by the European Space Agency's (ESA) Swarm satellite constellation over the last 11 years. Swarm has been monitoring a region known as the South Atlantic Anomaly since 2014, and scientists have just published a new study of the area that reveals that, not only has the anomaly expanded eastward, it has actually been weakening more quickly since 2020.
"It's changing differently towards Africa than it is near South America. There's something special happening in this region that is causing the field to weaken in a more intense way," study lead author Chris Finlay, professor of geomagnetism at the Technical University of Denmark, said in an ESA statement.
Geological samples reveal that the South Atlantic Anomaly has been occurring for around 11 million years, but only since the dawn of the space age has it really had the potential to cause damage.
That's because Earth's magnetic field helps block charged particles that flow from the sun, particles that can bombard satellites or even the International Space Station with damaging radiation. As these spacecraft fly over the South Atlantic Anomaly, Earth's protective barrier is weaker, meaning more of that radiation can reach and potentially damage them or cause blackouts in communication with mission controllers on the ground.
