Christian Leaders Call America to 52 Days of Prayer and Repentance
|

|
Barbara Ann Jeter is the executive director of the Nehemiah Alliance, a movement pushing Americans toward “prayer, fasting, repentance, and national spiritual renewal.” Jeter told CBN News the effort was birthed from an “inquiry of God last August. [I asked], ‘What do you want, Lord, for America’s 250th?'” she said, noting she believes the Lord provided a path forward.
Jeter found herself sending a plan to national leaders she trusted, building the Nehemiah Alliance platform on the pattern seen in the Book of Nehemiah. “Like Nehemiah sought the blessing of his pagan foreign king and governors along the way when he was rebuilding the walls, we have sought the blessing and gotten it from those in authority,” she said. “It’s not political, but there is something about getting the blessing of those that God’s placed in authority.”
Ultimately, Jeter was able to rally not just political leaders of the day like House Speaker Mike Johnson, but she has mobilized well-known Christian figures like Alveda King, Michael W. Smith, and Eric Metaxas, among many others, to not only support the effort but also to show up Oct. 31 for a massive event in Washington, D.C. “We want to mobilize the people for 52 days of prayer, fasting, and repentance,” she said. “It’s historic. It’s never been done. We started Sunday on 9/10. I heard 9/11. God starts His calendar, I believe, the night before, and we’re going to All Saints Sunday. We’ll be on the National Mall. We believe it is a Nehemiah call to the wall — to the Mall — to rebuild our spiritual walls.”
Jeter said she chose Oct. 31, which is both Reformation Day and Halloween, to hold the culminating event. “On the darkest night, we’re believing to shine the brightest light, the light of the world all over the world,” she said. “That’s Jesus.” Even though the prayer and fasting commitment started a month ago, Jeter said it’s not too late for people to jump in now, especially since Oct. 31 is still weeks away. “Fast as the Holy Spirit leads you,” Jeter said. “We definitely want people fasting the day of Halloween.” In addition to prayer and fasting, she said she’s also “calling people to commit to be a modern-day gatekeeper.” (Faith Wire) Read More Here |

Netanyahu defies exit polls as vote shifts in his favor, but majority remains elusive
|

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's political bloc gained ground Wednesday morning as Israel counted votes from its first national election since the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas massacre, but remained short of the majority needed to form a government, leaving the country facing another potential political deadlock.
With approximately 70% of votes counted, Netanyahu's right-wing and religious bloc stood at 54 seats in the 120-seat Knesset, compared with 47 for the main opposition and 19 for Arab parties, according to partial election results reported by Israeli media. Netanyahu's Likud led with 27 seats, while former Israeli military chief Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party held 20.
As both Netanyahu and Eisenkot claimed victory Tuesday night, Israelis told Fox News Digital that although they had expected a tight race, the shifting numbers and uncertainty over who could form a government had left many confused about what comes next.
Despite Netanyahu's lead, the parties outside his governing bloc collectively held 66 seats, a majority in the 120-seat Knesset, creating a potential path for the opposition to challenge his leadership if it can secure sufficient cooperation from Arab lawmakers.
The results marked a shift from Tuesday night's initial exit polls, which prompted celebrations at Eisenkot's campaign headquarters in Tel Aviv. Eisenkot called on Netanyahu to accept the results and step aside, while Netanyahu declared later in the night from his headquarters in Jerusalem that Likud had emerged as the country's largest party and urged the formation of a strong right-wing government. We pray that their elections have been fair and honest and that the counting is transparent and accurate, in Jesus' name, so that the voice of the people will be known and the leaders will stand in integrity.

Elections You’re Not Watching Could Rewrite the Rules for 2028, Report Contends
|
|
State legislative races this cycle could determine how elections are run for decades, with the potential for future laws on voter ID, undermining the Electoral College, noncitizen voting, and ranked-choice voting.
States could have enough votes after the elections to trigger the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, according to a report by the conservative group Honest Elections Project Action. Under the compact, a state would give its electoral votes to the national popular vote winner of a presidential election. The compact takes effect only if participating states can contribute a total of 270 electoral votes.
After Virginia entered the compact, the current member states collectively hold 222 electoral votes—just 48 votes away from 270. Five states outside the compact currently have divided government but appear to be leaning Democrat in legislative races: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin, and Arizona.
“Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin are perennial presidential battlegrounds with 61 electoral votes between them,” the report says. “Each has divided government today but could become a Democrat trifecta on November 3rd.”

Mighty God, we pray that this absolutely does not happen, in Jesus's name. The electoral college is Your divine strategy for balancing out the power structures equally among the states. You provided it through Your anointed wisdom that given to our free, God-fearing founding fathers as they were writing our governing papers for the entire future of this nation. We pray for an overriding article within that Constitution that will be effective to nullify this effort of man to gain power and we pray for the Supreme Court to enforce this freedom, in Jesus's name.

President Donald Trump on Monday upped the stakes in the fight against voter fraud, as the commander in chief announced a reward of $1 million to anyone who reports election cheating that leads to an arrest and conviction.
On Truth Social, Trump stated: "Anybody reporting Voter Fraud in the past Elections, or the upcoming 2026 Midterm Election, will be paid $1,000,000 upon the arrest and conviction of those that created the Fraud! Thank you for your attention to this matter."
He also told reporters at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland: "I'm also going to be issuing a million dollar bonus or reward or whatever you want to call it for anybody that reports voter fraud, leading to the arrest and conviction of somebody." (WND) Read more

Praise God for this incentive for whistle-blowing and truth-telling regarding election integrity, in Jesus's name. Father, it is well known that there are some people who have labored long and hard over this issue, suffering imprisonment, being ostracized and outcast in many ways, so we pray for this reward to be extended to each one of them, in Jesus's name. We pray that there are secure avenues to report bad actors for prosecution. We ask You to remove and replace the large majority of local government officials who have been trained by agents opposed to our Constitutional Republic. We also cry out for honest, transparent counting of votes and that You would expose the many ways the machines can be manipulated, in the name of Jesus.
"And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality." (Colossians 3:23-25)

Another botched South American election run by a corrupt socialist regime has thrown a nation into chaos. Brazil now has a full-blown political crisis on its hands.
Brazilian presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro, the son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, has reportedly fled the country for the United States after losing a disputed presidential election and being ordered by a Supreme Court justice to surrender his passports.
According to a breaking Reuters report, two sources say Bolsonaro has left Brazil and is headed for the United States.
As RedState reported Monday, Bolsonaro was ordered Monday to turn over his passports by Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes, the same judge who oversaw the prosecution of his father, former President Jair Bolsonaro. (Red State) Read more

Israeli President Isaac Herzog urged political leaders on Wednesday to approach coalition talks with an open mind, warning against another election as partial results showed neither of the two main blocs securing a majority.
“We must do everything to avoid new elections,” Herzog said a day after the legislative vote.

2. Israel election results signal political deadlock , raising three possible post-election scenarios - Jerusalem Post
As election results from Israel’s parliamentary vote on Tuesday continue to trickle in, what seems clearest is that no side in this political race will have enough votes to form a majority government, meaning the question of who Israel’s next prime minister will be remains uncertain.
According to the vote count so far, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party could have as many as 28 seats, yet his bloc of right-wing and ultra-Orthodox parties will fall short of the 61 seats needed to form a majority government.
Yashar, the party led by Netanyahu’s main rival, former Israeli army chief Gadi Eisenkot, looks set to be the second-largest party, with around 22 seats. Eisenkot declared that his party had achieved a historic result, argued that the public had expressed a lack of confidence in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and called on him to retire from politics.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday blasted the "bloc of change" for considering possibility of forming a government with the support of the Arab parties.
Netanyahu shared a video of Joint List MK Osama Saadi, in which Saadi discussed the election results and efforts to replace Netanyahu's government.

5. Knesset elections: Counting of 'double-envelope' ballots begins

The Central Elections Committee announced early Thursday morning that counting of the double-envelope ballots began at 1:00 a.m., following the completion of the required intake, scanning, and verification procedures.
Double-envelope ballots are used in Israeli elections by voters who are unable to cast their ballots at their designated polling stations, including IDF soldiers, hospital patients, prisoners, diplomats stationed abroad, and voters with mobility disabilities who use specially accessible polling stations.
Under the procedure, voters place their ballots in a regular envelope, which is then inserted into a second envelope bearing their identifying information. The Central Elections Committee verifies that each voter has not already voted elsewhere. Once verification is complete, the inner envelopes are removed from the outer envelopes and mixed together to ensure that voters' identities cannot be linked to their votes. The ballots are then transferred to the counting facility in the Knesset parking lot. (Read more)

1. U.S. Supreme Court decides immigration judges no longer allowed to postpone deportation cases - WND
Immigration judges do not have the authority to temporarily postpone deportation disputes, according to the U.S. Supreme Court.
In a one-sentence decision that included no explanations and no comments, the court denied an emergency request to stop for now a deal that ended the judges' delay tactics.
A report from Reuters explained the administration and Texas had filed an agreement in federal court when the state sued to challenge the delays.
"A federal judge swiftly approved the agreement on the same day. Baltimore and the other litigants said the federal government improperly colluded with Texas to secure the rule's invalidation," according to the report. Read more

2. DHS Markwayne Mullin Shuts Birth Tourism Loophole for Chinese - Breitbart
Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin is suspending a Biden-era program that allowed Chinese nationals to visit the Northern Mariana Islands without a visa, according to a federal notice filed Monday.
The program allowed prescreened Chinese travelers to visit the U.S. territory in the western Pacific for business or tourism, generally for up to 14 days. The suspension is set to take effect at 2 p.m. Eastern time on October 30, three days after the notice’s scheduled publication in the Federal Register.
Once the suspension takes effect, Chinese nationals seeking to visit the islands for business or pleasure will need a nonimmigrant visa unless another lawful exception applies, according to the notice. The change applies to new applicants and travelers who already have an active authorization under the program.
Mullin’s decision follows an April 22 letter from Sens. Mike Lee (R-UT), Rick Scott (R-FL), John Cornyn (R-TX), and Bill Cassidy (R-LA), who urged him and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum to end the program. Read more

3. Turning an Aircraft Carrier: First Detransitioner Clinic Opens in Notorious Texas Hospital - Washington Stand
One courageous voice spoke out. Then another. The hospital where they worked was evading the law to hurt children, and they could not stand idly by. Then the backlash began. The massive hospital system severed ties with the doctor and fired the nurse. Federal agents showed up at their front door, and federal prosecutors sought to ruin the two whistleblowers with legal fees and threats of prison.

Abba, this is a wonderful praise report and we so appreciate Ken Paxton for pushing the lawsuit forward, in Jesus's name. We give thanks that Texas Children's Hospital is being compelled to pay strong consequences for breaking the law out of greed by deceiving parents, children and the citizens of the state of Texas. We pray Father for the two young, courageous whistleblowers who have suffered greatly at the hands of this cruel hospital system. We ask for the crushing financial burden to be lifted from them and Holy One, would You draw them into a deep, loving relationship with You.

4. Good News: 7-Year-Old Survivor of the Oregon School Shooting Now in Stable Condition, Moved Out of ICU - Breaking Christian News
Those of us who've been praying for the injured survivors of the recent school shooting in Bend, OR, received some good news this week, as Saylor Graham-Poarch was able to be moved out of ICU, and is reportedly in stable condition. (Screengrab image: via KVAL video)
While the family shared this update, they warned that Saylor faces a long journey of recovery.
"Saylor was in critical condition at first," a statement from the family read, "but she's now stable and has been moved out of the ICU. She has a long recovery ahead, and right now all we want is to be with her through it.
"Even as we're grateful for Saylor's progress, our hearts are broken for the families of the three children and the teacher who were killed. We are holding them close, and we grieve with them.
"Thank you to everyone who has reached out, prayed for Saylor, sent messages, and shown our family so much love during the hardest time of our lives..." Read more

Holy One, we pray for Your healing hands to restore little Saylor and the others still in the hospital. We thank You so much for bringing her forward, but we pray for miraculous healings for every one of these ones, in the Holy name of Jesus. Let there be an incredible testimony for the hospital, Oregon and our nation, to see divine healing for each person. We pray for the dad and the others involved in stopping the attack to each come to know You personally as Lord, Savior, Father and Friend, in the name of Jesus. May the family of the shooter also find their strength in You alone.

5. America's Wild Horse Program Is Broken. Bureaucracy Keeps It That Way

In the Trump administration’s pursuit of government efficiency, one egregious source of waste has gone overlooked: the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Wild Horse and Burro Program, which regularly operates under a self-inflicted 900% markup.
Proven, dart-delivered fertility vaccines can humanely manage wild horse populations on-range for just $1,500 per mare. Yet in typical bureaucratic fashion, BLM uses a reactive, ‘roundup-and-repeat’ cycle to remove animals instead, driving lifetime holding costs to an unsustainable $15,000 per horse. Responsible fiscal governance demands urgent reform.
Low-flying helicopters gathered over 2,000 wild horses from 1.1 million acres in July, causing eleven deaths, including several foals. Surviving horses face indefinite holding, adoption, or sale channels that carry risk of slaughter. Without on-range fertility management, herd populations will quickly recover, triggering another gather in just a few short years.
From a fiscal standpoint, BLM's approach is failing. Though livestock grazing permits generate nearly $13 million in revenue, the overall grazing program operates at a net loss to taxpayers of nearly $100 million. And by expending tens of millions more on wild horse roundups, the agency is throwing more money at a crisis of its own making, while forcing taxpayers to fund inefficiency on both ends. Read more

Holy King, may we and our government be much better stewards of the natural resources with which we have been blessed. This cruel wild horse program has been a thorn in the side of the west for decades now and we ask that You cause the BLM leadership to do the right thing, in Jesus's name. There is no reason for it to continue mindlessly, apparently without audit or oversight, so we pray for this to change. We thank You for the magnificent wild horses and pray for them to be properly stewarded and cared for, particularly with modern resources, in Jesus' name.

6. 'This is treason': Watch 'all hell break loose' at U.S. post office located inside a mosque, as fears grow over mail-in ballots - WND
David Hoch, the heroic fraud-fighter who helped journalist Nick Shirley expose massive corruption at Minneapolis daycare centers and testified before Congress in January, is now sounding the alarm after he was kicked out of a U.S. post office located in the same building as a Minnesota mosque.
Sporting a Christian Crusader shirt, Hoch went with online journalist Zak X on Friday to the USPS facility at 3300 Plymouth Blvd in Plymouth, Minnesota, the same address as the Northwest Islamic Community Center.
The pair posted a 27-minute video of their encounter with postal workers, security guards and eventually local police, who issued them citations for trespassing. Read more

They walk into threatening or dangerous circumstances in order to expose corruption and illegal activities, so we ask You Abba to send guardian angels with them in their coming and going, in Jesus's name. We pray also for law enforcement to take action and bring justice forward over matters such as this. By no means should our United States Postal Service be maintaining a facility within an islamic mosque! We pray for immediate action to remove this and any others that may be still in hiding, and bring them under righteous authority, in Jesus's name.

Stupidocrisy: When Government Puts the Horse Out of Business

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has found another tradition that apparently needs government intervention: horse-drawn carriage rides through Central Park. Mamdani and City Council Speaker Julie Menin have agreed to legislation ending the historic carriage industry by June 2028. The stated reasons are animal welfare and public safety, particularly following the tragic death of a tourist in June. Those concerns deserve serious attention. First government eliminates your business, then offers to help you find another job. Horse-drawn carriages have been part of New York's character for roughly 150 years, providing visitors a memorable way to experience Central Park. Iran Plot In Advanced Stages

One week from the midterms, U.S. intelligence has confirmed what the regime in Tehran has never bothered to hide. Iran has substantially increased its efforts to target American personnel. Lethal plots against U.S. citizens have reached advanced stages in the Middle East and beyond. That is “Death to America” made operational. It is not a slogan on a banner. It is active planning against American lives.
We are already in open conflict with this regime. The war that began earlier this year has not ended because Iran does not intend to stop. Its proxies attack shipping. Its leaders chant for the destruction of the United States. Its agents look for opportunities wherever Americans are present. Europe is burning under the same pressures: mass protests that turn violent, cities strained past recognition, and governments that spent years accommodating the forces now testing them. The pattern is clear. Islamist networks and their globalist enablers push wherever resistance is weak. They have worked to plant their presence in our schools, our institutions, and our political process. They prefer an America that looks like the one under Biden: open, hesitant, and unwilling to name the threat.
A Democrat and socialist sweep of the midterms would be the outcome Tehran wants. It would restore the conditions that let the regime operate with less fear of consequence. Americans have already lived through that version of weakness. The response this time has been different. Despite higher costs, despite the noise from media that treats every warning as exaggeration, the country has stayed resolved. More Americans understand what is at stake than the media admits. They are not interested in watching their cities follow the path already visible in parts of Europe. They are not interested in handing the regime in Tehran a freer hand.
This is a critical point in the contest between those who want the West to keep its culture, its laws, and its security, and those who intend to replace them. The Islamist agenda, the socialist agenda, and the communist remnants that still organize against limited government all converge on the same practical goal: an America less able to defend itself. The midterms are the immediate test of whether that goal advances or is blocked.
Cherish the freedoms that other people are still fighting to obtain. They are not guaranteed by history. They are kept by the decisions of the people who hold them. One week remains. Hold the line. Vote to keep the pressure on the regime that has made “Death to America” its operating instruction. Vote to finish what has been started rather than reverse it. America is stronger when it refuses to stop short of the finish line. The people who want the country on its knees are organized. So are the people who intend to keep it free.

An Egyptian farmer tending to his cucumbers stumbled upon an ancient stone that led archaeologists to a much bigger discovery.
They found the remains of two colossal statues believed to depict Ramses II, the pharaoh some scholars believe may have confronted Moses in the biblical Book of Exodus.
The finds were announced by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities earlier this month.
The farmer found the inscribed stone while working in a cucumber greenhouse on his property in the village of Behbeit El-Hagar, according to Egyptian news outlet Youm7.
The man then alerted local archaeological authorities, who inspected the site and uncovered the remains of two statues during subsequent excavations, ministry officials said.
"One of the statues has been identified as depicting King Ramses II, while the other is also believed to represent the same pharaoh," the translated statement read.
"The mission additionally discovered a pink granite block bearing hieroglyphic inscriptions that include several of the king's royal titles."
Ramses II, who was born in 1303 B.C., was among the most powerful and influential pharaohs of ancient Egypt's New Kingdom period.
Some scholars have suggested that Ramses II was the pharaoh described in the Book of Exodus, although the Old Testament does not identify the ruler by name.
